As a first-time Apple smartwatch owner, the Apple Watch Series 10 feels like the perfect introduction to wearable tech. It seamlessly blends functionality, style, and innovation, making it far superior to other well-known smartwatch brands. Design & Build The Apple Watch Series 10’s sleek and refined design is unmatched. The always-on display with nearly bezel-less edges is a visual treat, offering vibrant colors and crisp details. The build quality, as expected from Apple, is premium—crafted with durable materials and a customizable fit that feels comfortable all day. Performance & Features Apple’s proprietary chipset ensures smooth performance, and apps load faster than ever. The health and fitness tracking suite is exceptional: advanced heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen tracking, and even stress level insights. The Series 10 introduces new features like advanced sleep tracking, automatic workout detection, and expanded cycling and hiking metrics, solidifying its place as a fitness companion. Compared to competitors like Samsung Galaxy Watch or Garmin, the Apple Watch excels with its tightly integrated ecosystem. Pairing with an iPhone unlocks seamless notifications, access to Apple Pay, and unique features like handwashing reminders and crash detection. Other brands may offer similar fitness tracking, but they can’t compete with Apple’s flawless user experience and app ecosystem. Battery Life Battery life, often a sticking point for smartwatches, is much improved. With up to 36 hours on a single charge in standard mode and even longer in low-power mode, it’s suitable for daily use without constant recharging. Why It’s Superior What sets the Apple Watch apart is its versatility. Competing brands like Fitbit focus heavily on fitness, while Samsung leans into tech features, but the Apple Watch blends both worlds perfectly. Its app library, exclusive features like Family Setup, and its appeal for all ages make it truly universal. Plus, updates keep it fresh for years. 2 people found this helpful

So I’d decided to upgrade from the iPad 9th Generation to the 10th mainly because I really loved the pink and I’d got a grey one that I hated (
) but still I’m so glad that I did upgrade because not only does the pink look absolutely beautiful but also there’s a significant improvement in a wide range of elements such as the camera, visual and audio quality which makes it well worth the money. The screen quality is fantastic and super high definition which makes watching videos a great experience, the speakers sound crystal clear even at loud volumes making it an ideal device for streaming music without the necessary need for a bluetooth speaker, the system runs so smoothly and responds fast with no lag, freezing or crashing, plus the photos and videos both look significantly better quality than the previous iPad models. It’s compatible with all the Apple pencils and has a magnetic part on the side which the pencil connects to, I have the 1st gen pencil and even though it requires a slightly different connection procedure, it still works fantastic and fluently with no issues. The battery life is brilliant and a full charge seems to last me up to a full day or even beyond depending on how much I’m using it, it charges up pretty fast and doesn’t drain quickly unlike my 9th gen which I was convinced had battery problems from the start! Even though I’d usually get a larger storage size than 64gb (I didn’t want to fork out a ton more money on a 256gb model as I have a Mac and iPhone), I’ve still got all the apps I want on it along with all my videos, notes, photos etc with plenty of storage left, plus I try to use my devices for different purposes so I don’t need all the apps that I’ve got on my phone that I take out with me on my iPad which I always leave at home. Even though it’s smaller in size than my 9th gen model, it’s got a much wider screen which graciously makes up for the small decrease in its physical size, plus it’s been much more ideal for me to use with ease because even though I obviously want something that’s bigger than my small iPhone 13, I have small hands so I don’t want to feel uncomfortable struggling to hold a massive tablet, especially whilst in bed, but this has been the perfect size for me. I also really like that this iPad has a rounder shape with smooth edges which just makes it even more comfortable to hold and I think it makes its whole appearance look a lot nicer too, especially with a case on. It’s such a premium, strong, durable build even though I think it feels a lot lighter than previous iPads and you can really both see and feel the quality, making its price tag very justifiable. This is the first iPad I believe which has a USB C charger rather than a lightning one and it also doesn’t have a home button which has been a little strange for me and took a bit of getting used to (along with remembering what each of the side buttons do and where they’re located as I’m pretty sure they’re also different to the previous models and I kept mixing up which buttons turns the volume up and down!) but it’s not really been a big issue at all for me and it means the screen gets to be bigger which is the most important part so I can’t complain! I definitely feel like I’ve still got a lot more to discover as I haven’t had the iPad too long but I’ve covered the most important parts of the iPad, it has lots of fantastic, new features and abilities (including the Touch ID now being on the power button rather than the home button!) and it’s just so much fun to use whether it’s for gaming or just general social media, online shopping, TikTok and YouTube like me. It’s a brilliant model that’s well worth buying, I bought it for £309 which is a lot for a 2022 model however it seems to be the same price (if not cheaper) brand new from other retailers like John Lewis, Curry’s, Very etc and not an awful lot cheaper on eBay, even to buy second hand so it was definitely still worth buying off here as I have Prime membership and always feel covered if there’s any issues or I need to return the item. I received it the following evening after I’d purchased it from DPD rather than the Gadget Tree delivery van but still it arrived safely with no damage and the product worked perfectly so that wasn’t a problem at all as I’ve had multiple Gadget Tree deliveries arrive from other delivery companies. I’d 100% recommend this as both an upgrade or a first iPad as it’s just an overall fantastic model and a huge refresh from the previous models which never seemed to be too different from one another! I’m very happy with my purchase and I’m sure even if Apple released an 11th gen I wouldn’t want to upgrade as I’m in love with both how it looks and how it works!

Upgraded to the series 10 from a series 4!! The battery life and screen quality are so much better. A lot more functionality and great for tracking my walking, exercise, heart rate and even oxygen saturations. Surprisingly accurate. Great watch, looks great and is very comfortable on the wrist. 2 people found this helpful

I have ADHD and this watch has been very helpful to ensure that: 1. I do not miss any phone calls – as I always hyper focus. With the watch vibrating on my wrist and making a sound when I get a call, it ensures that I don’t miss any phone calls. 2. Setting calendar reminders – this watch has ensured that calendar reminders are played so that I do not miss things like: (i) GP appointments (ii) work meetings and (iii) friends and family gatherings. 3. Sleep tracking has been amazing to let me know how much and what states my sleep is currently in. There are also third-party stress monitoring / tracking apps that allow you to analyse your HRV levels (which Apple Watch allow you to measure – but not analyse) to determine how stressed you are during the day. Other features such as blood-oxygen tracking have also been very insightful. 3. Fast charge. Self-explanatory. The only things I do not like about the Apple Watch is: 1. The strap – I ordered a fabric version of it and it kept getting wet (from washing hands etc.) and so that made it very uncomfortable to wear – I had to buy a third-party one given the Apple ones are quite expensive. 2. Battery life – it can drain quite fast. But equally, it also charges pretty quickly too. 12 people found this helpful
