Very happy with mixer Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 13 October 2024 Verified Purchase Overall the Zoom Mixer/Recorder works really well and is a good place to start for podcasting. My only thing i would change about the mixer is the mute and live buttons material as it does make a slight click sound when pressing it. If they could be made like the soundpad buttons then it would be perfect. But regardless i would still recommend the product as it still does the job really well.

October 2022 Lets get to it Zoom! 6x headphone outs ??? Be honest Zoom who has 6 friends all with 3.5mm headphones or need to use 6 XLR microphones all at once are going to come round to your mums house or student digs or small studio?
Let’s be honest this unit will most likely be used by one or two people, maybe one linked by phone if your lucky and this is a good feature, BUT what this unit really needs is LINE-INS!! not 6 headphone outs!? Not even my Procaster Mic is Phantom powered. SO LET ME MAKE IT CLEAR ZOOM! for the future P9 or P10 needs a dedicated monitor headphone 3.5mm and ¼” sockets!, cue punch in out buttons to monitor each track or do it via the touch screen for each track. Change all those headphone outs to 3.5mm Line-Ins!! So I can plug in samplers, phones, tablets, my ZoomH5???!! Make the XLR-ins include those internal ¼inch Jack sockets like on the Zoom H5! and a switch on each track for Mic,Line-in!(phantom power mic / guitar option via the touchscreen maybe?) A Hi-quality Limiter, Gate, EQ, Compression is a must! also Reverb and Tape Delay! as yet I’ve not tested this unit for studio sound performance with a decent mic as I was annoyed by some of the layout that will go unused! I’m still very tempted, I hope this helps Zoom and anyone else who agrees with this please rate as helpful. Read more 4 people found this h

October 2024 Verified Purchase I was thinking about buying a mixer with built in and customised SFX. This is a great product and you can import your own sound FX music stings.
