I cannot say how much I love this lens, bokeh is buttery and subjects almost look 3 dimensional when shot at 1.8 2.2…this really is beautiful lens I wish I had purchased it sooner. Focus is very fast and eye tracking also works very well.

The lens is well designed and great for portraits. I often have to shoot in venues with subdued light and flash not allowed such as rituals, performances and poetry readings. Putting the camera in silent mode and using this lens allows me to stand further back than with a 85 mm lens and shoot.

This is a phenomenal lens. Acquires focus instantaneously in absolute silence. You would have to be in solitude inside an anechoic chamber to be able to hear this lens focus, its dead silent. Stunning build quality, even the lens hood is nice.

I received my Sony 135mm today. This is a beautiful portrait lens. Really sharp with very nice bokeh. The lens is well built and has good features. Its a bit on the heavy side, but I guess that comes with the f1.8 aperture.

This is a stellar lens. I have used it on my Sony A7RIV. It is great wide open but becomes extremely sharp by f2. The contrast, microcontrast and bokeh really stand out. For portraits, this lens is unbeatable.
