The battery is good, display is nice , factory installed screen protector, but balanced in hand feels strange the 120 x zoom is really good (but AI and softening is clearly used here…..) the ram management is really good…….. the IR remote blaster is a bonus and great. Mostly bug and lag free but the AI constantly fails I have had issues with it 9 times out of 10 it never works “failed try again later” is worse than a nagging notification” (not a network issue either) I just gave up attempts eventually to use it. also the back feels like plastic (very plasticky) and has a very very unwieldy feeling like silk that’s just difficult to hold and doesn’t feel premium for what I pay for. The speakers have a warm bass and its often not the case with phones but be warned it looses depth and quality pretty quick and almost instantly at a higher volume (40+) and distorts any thing past half way the camera ring is too big to be placed to the left (off centre) it doesn’t fit right with me. a strange choice to be a circle and placed off set to the left I feel like I want to move it to the centre. Such a shame I wanted to like this (its not a bad phone at all) but I would be keeping this for a while and I know I wouldn’t be really happy with the quirks and feel, poor speakers at anything above 40% and the camera in very low light or night is not very good most of the time out of out of 10 shots 7 will be quite poor battery life is great like I say but its not the main thing I look in a phone decent sounding speakers they only sound good round about 30-40 meh. and I will add this phone has the ability to charge really fast and not with a standard charger most of us already own oh no only with an original charger and it doesn’t include one what aggravates me is I couldn’t even purchase one from one plus web site trying daily out of stock for the time I owned the phone. and its £59 to add insult to injury the knock of ones on Gadget Tree that claim to do the same DONT! I ordered one and it was totally fake so I returned it as stated 7 hours charge time. so the manufactures claiming e-waste is the reason they are not included is nonsense the only e- waste is the amount of fake chargers being sold that definitely end up in the bin! or land fils’ omitting chargers from the box forces people to just go out and buy rubbish ones this causes vastly more e-waste!!! 6 people found this helpful

I’ve been using this Redmi Tab Pro tablet for about 2 weeks and think it’s a excellent product. It’s 256GB memory with 8GB of RAM gives excellent storage and rapid processing, so no problems there. There’s even a slot for an SD card to expand the memory even further as well as a 3.5mm jack socket for external speakers. I can’t fault the screen either. At 12.1″ it’s an excellent size and crystal clear. I was a little concerned before I bought it that it was going to be a bit too big and unwieldy but that’s not a concern. It is a bit on the heavy side though, especially in its case, but that seems to me to be a acceptable trade off for its size. One review that I read described it as a slab rather than a tablet but that I think is unfair. My one issue is with the sound quality. It claims 4 speakers with Dolby Atmos sound but I find the internal speakers to be very tinny and not as good as expected hence the 4 stars. I can’t speak for the cameras because I haven’t used them. Overall I’m very pleased, this tablet does pretty much everything I want it to. 5 people found this helpful

Despite this being reviewed everywhere as a budget tablet, it runs like a dream. Better than most laptops I’ve owned. Obviously there will be premium features lacking, but that’s very fairly reflected in the price. What you get for your money is pretty stunning. Highly recommended.

My first Redmi product and I can say this is a great tablet for the price. I have used the samsungs and a couple of others and apart from camera quality which isn’t a problem the rest of the hardware performs very well. I have run the tests on most casino’s and ram hungry apps and this just doesn’t slow down whatsoever. I always keep the cache clear after every use and this will help and just don’t fill it with crap lol. Charges fast as well and for this price range has impressive sound, I use a graphic EQ to make it sound even better. One person found this helpful

October 2024 Colour Name: Blue Size Name: 8+256GB Style Name: Redmi Pad Pro Why they can’t stick with the default version of Android rather than some bastardised version is beyond me. Had it a few weeks, still haven’t worked out how to close a running app other than switch it off.

Very nice tablet got it on a deal not full price. If you’re looking at changing from apple to android it might be the one for you. It has a similar interface. I would think carefully about android tablets in general they are not optimised for all programs. Graphics are noticeably bad sometimes which is a shame. Think carefully if you want to change tablets it might not be worth it for you. Sound is great and tv shows etc. it runs normal tasks very well. It has a very fast processor optional sd card tray I got the 256 version access to google play store. Worth purchasing 2 people found this helpful
