I just want to express that it’s been nearly three years since I bought my own and it has exceeded my expectations. When I moved into an apartment without an oven, I relied heavily on the air fryer, using it almost daily. I’ve been careful to only use wooden spoons to avoid damaging its surface, and while it shows signs of use, it continues to perform admirably. The outer casing still appears pristine, just like it did when I first got it. Thank you. I also bought one for my mom, who doesn’t use it frequently, but she adores it. One person found this helpful

Being a first time air fryer user, couldn’t be more pleased with this. Relatively high tech (no analogue temp and timer knobs), plus I joked with my friends that I just bought an iFry ha ha. And they belived. Like another user, I found the bowl compartment did not quite fit well, but after using it once (maybe it expanded with the heat) it is now easy to open and close properly. Was there meant to be Alexa and Google? maybe, but the app (you need to go into the app to set up Wifi for the Mi Fryer) and the sample recipies are alreayd more than extensive for me. Got it for a good ‘Black Friday’ sale price, but probably would get even if it was at it’s normal price. Just did a first round of fries and hash browns to test it. Been trying to do this for ages, it never comes out as good (oven) as a chip shop. Now it has! 11 people found this helpful

An absolutely brilliant fryer. It’s simple and elegant interface and ease of use is so good. It cooks amazingly well. Everything we have done turns out perfect. November 2024 This Xiao Mi Product changed so many things, very easy to operate even a 7/8 years old and use to cook some of their favourite food. We use it to prepare morning breakfast, side dish for dinner and keep the young chef excited about trying new possibilities.

Very impressive Air Fryer
This air fryer is not just good for the price, it’s good. Period. Its fast, quiet, smart and solidly built. Previously had a Tefal which I think is pretty much everyone’s go to, but after having issues and switching to this just to see if we’d really be missing out on much, it’s actually a pretty significant upgrade and a 30% saving. It’s much much quieter than the Tefal as you don’t have to raise your voice to have a conversation, it’s faster and it’s smart, being controlled via a single dial and not a stupid maze of touch buttons. The interface is much better and intuitive, using that dial and a single button; other than the power button, and if you use the app you can completely forgo the physical navigation anyway. Lastly, with the Tefal if you so much as tried to pour anything from the tray without holding the grid in place it would fall out, so you would have to use a utensil to get food out of it, but with this the tray stays in place pretty securely. For me so far I have actually been able to safely turn it completely upside down in fact (not recommended, however nice to know it can at least be rotated to 90 degrees for easy pouring). The only negative point was my experience with 2 layers of food. When attempting to cook 2 layers of chicken wings on the dedicated “Chicken wings” setting it resulted in the top layer overcooked and the bottom layer under. Dissapoiting as it was on a dedicated preset for both the wings and specifically 2 layers, however when set manually and filled sensibly, no problem. Aside from that it has a few rough edges where plastic panels were cut from their moulds, which running your nail across will smooth over (if this is the case with yours) and tray is quite difficult to close, as it does have to be done really very precisely. Still none of that is enough to really knock it and overall very highly recommended

Really nice air fryer. Easy to set up and to use. I now have 4 Xiaomi products (one of them being the robot vacuum and mop). All working very efficiently and without any problems. I find their products very reasonably priced and full of features. I definitely recommend them. One person found this helpful

After setup, I was able to select the recipe for what I’m cooking and the air fryer do the rest in terms of selecting time and temperature, which is great because the air fryer cooking time is very different from an oven. If i was to manually select the options myself, i’m sure i would have burnt my food to a crisp! Also, nice looking white design, looks great and modern on my kitchen counter. 3 people found this helpful
