Okay so I’ve been a Xiaomi fan for a long time, year after year I update my products and I can say that I shouldn’t have gotten this phone. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a great phone it really is but compared to my last phone which cost me around £350, for the life of me I just can’t see where the extra £300 on top of that price is within the phone. It’ll be the last true flagship phone I will be buying for a really long time, maybe I’ll never buy 1 again who knows. If you have the money and want a Snapdragon 888, a great screen and fast charging then go for it. Another thing about this phone is the battery life isn’t good (even when on FHD & 60HZ. That’s my two pence anyway. 4 people found this helpful

My new Panasonic Lumix camera died quicker than you can say Panasonic Lumix – well not QUITE as quick but either way it died far too quickly for me to review it. I went back to Sony because I’ve had two compacts in the past which are remarkably still in use but really old now. This camera is simple to use, unfussy in layout, and whilst image settings will need some tweaking and adjustment to be somewhere near realistic it does what a camera is meant to do – take pictures of scenes presented to it. I tend to shoot everything auto because I am lazy (yep – say it as it is) and whilst I understand settings and modes I’m more immersed in the experience of being in the present than I am taking pictures of that experience. A lovely camera, lightweight, well made, sturdy and remarkably heavy (in a pleasing way) with no confusing dials and stuff. My ONLY gripe is a week after I bought it from Gadget Tree, Sony offered it at a huge discount on Gadget Tree…argh!!!! I am pleased with it though – so pleased I will remember to diarise next years’ cyber sale and get a big brother for it. A Sony one. Aah joy. A compact compact camera that is simple in use, simple to use, and simple for me to operate with my big hands and clumsy fingers. Thank you Sony. 9 people found this helpful

I was constantly looking into Xiaomi as my next phone and when I saw it on a deal I thought this was great so I made the plunge and I’m so glad I did. Being a Samsung user getting used to MIUI took some time to get used to it but now I have navigating the phone is a breeze. The Phone has an amazing Camera, great screen and with the great battery and amazing charging speeds I highly recommend this phone. One person found this helpful

I moved from a damaged Samsung GALAXY 8 to this Xiamen. I had wondered if the Mi “skin” would vex me but it was not a problem at all. It just shows there’s a little difference between manufacturer’s usage methods. I did have iPhones before but Android is not dissimilar in use. We can just do more with it. I got the phone in a sale @ £200 off so I was pleased. It is well made, large screen as I wanted & great battery life. I would recommend this Mi 11 to anyone. 2 people found this helpful

June 2021 Size Name: 128 Colour: Midnight Gray Some say the Fingerprint recognition is slow. I have found that this is the case in bright sunlight but not in other situations. I am using the Dual SIM option and this works really well. Although you have to chose a SIM for data.

Buy. This phone won’t disappoint. Battery life is great ….heard contrary elsewhere but seems great to me even on 160 Hertz. Screen is gorgeous. Haptic engine is brilliant. Nice and loud. Very very fast. Very slim and lightweight. Sent my s21 ultra back and bought mi 11. Fast charger and case in box …value for money is undeniable. Well done Xiaomi I’ll be buying more. ( Looked at mi 11 ultra too but decided it was just too heavy and big ) do yourself a favour and go for this one. 4 people found this helpful

My last three phones have all been Sony Xperia: Z; 10 Plus; 1 (iii); I remain as impressed with my device today (more so even) as I was with my other devices during the previous 12 years. The camera is second to none, as is the camcorder (I know, right?) and the battery lasts a full day, and then some. I have nothing but positives to report when discussing this phone, and I heartily recommend it. Also, given the phone’s high price tag, for those who qualify, Gadget Tree offers a reasonable payment plan with monthly installments. So, there’s no excuse, grab your Xperia 1 (iii) today. Welcome to the next generation of mobile phones
