The Bip watch offers great battery life. Even with heart rate monitoring enabled, the watch only needs to be charged at most every few weeks. The display is obviously not as eye popping as an expensive OLED, but the LCD is easily readable and automatic backlight works smoothly. The Mifit application downloads the essential information and makes it easy to track sleep, heart rate and activity. Other brands offer more, but Mifit gives me the essentials I want in an easy to use fashion. Over all the Bip is a very good value at an affordable price.

Previously I had a Fitbit Blaze and can offer some comparison to that. Firstly the positives Pretty easy to set up Always on display is fantastic most of the time I dont need the light Battery life is fantastic even with fairly heavy use GPS etc it lasted 2 weeks. As my Blaze started to age I was often lucky to get 3 days and sometimes shorter Compass GPS screen is nice to have Not reliant on mobile phone as it has a GPS Nice size for my wrist not as bulky as Blaze and is comfortable for continuous use Blaze HR sensor tended to dig in after a while. Bluetooth communications generally pretty quick and reliable compared to Blaze Amazing value for money Negatives Not as stylish as the Blaze but then its less than half the price Had some issues syching activities but appears they have fixed this with a recent update Step count seems fairly reliant on arm swing when walking Very happy with the purchase and giving it 5 stars based off the value for money you are getting.

Ive been using this watch for about two weeks and so far Im very happy with it. Its easy to charge although it doesnt last as long as 30 days as Im using all the functions on it at the same time eg GPS, full watch face etc. I like the way the light comes on automatically when I lift up my arm to see the watch and then it goes dark again to save the battery. Its very accurate in step counting which is great and I like the way you can record your workouts especially bike riding, as it gives you a map of where you went, your speeds at different times, how far you traveled etc. The downside is that I would like to have more information from the app and Im not that technical so it would be good to be able to download information on how to use the functions of the app and phone. This is a very reasonably priced smart watch compared to most others and is really good if you just want the basics.

Ive been using this for about a month now and its been great. Very good battery life, I can get around a full month of use out of it. However, it uses a lot more battery when tracking exercises using location so if you plan on using it mainly for that reason then expect less than half a month of battery life.

It can track a very limited number of activities. Cannot do weight training or boxing, which is what I wanted it for. Overall a little disappointing. I think it would be great for tracking runs at this price point, however.

After trying out a number of budget smart watches which were abject failures the Amazfit Bip came up in a search for GPS equipped sports watches, so some research was undertaken. Online reviews were generally positive with all noting very long battery life as a major benefit. A fortuitous trip To Christchurch gave us the opportunity to obtain one each for my wife and I from PB Tech. We have now been using them continuously for over two weeks. We go trail hiking most days and the GPS trackinglogging feature was the main reason to get these watches rather than carrying a cell phone around. The results of this, when combined with the Mi Fit App is a fairly comprehensive collection of statistics including a map of the hike, heart rate, altitude stats and energy kcal used. Not everything is consistent between the two watches but, considering the price, within reason. Other things, such as getting notifications from your phone set in the App, the always on display very visible in daylight without backlight have also proved useful. The list of activities is very limited running ,treadmill, cycling and walking is a shame as the health stats these activities do not match up with actual when used outside of those categories. It would be great to see additional activities implemented on this watch. Battery life, considering that we almost everything running, is terrific. We have let the charge run down to about 40 before topping up and that has taken about ten days to reach that point. No other smart watch we have tried has ever made it past three days Heart rate monitor appears to be reasonably accurate when set to one minute intervals. The sleep statistics this unit can provide are interesting but dont really seem to match actual too closely. The barometer on mine, is not accurate reading several mb higher than actual approx 8 10 and there appears to be no way to calibrate it. The compass, on the other hand, works very well and is accurate. GPS position is good as well. All in all, there are many more positives than negatives for this watch. The app appears to work well but could be improved Endomondo App is a good example to aspire to. For the price, this watch is hard to beat and I am very happy with it. Recommended.

The weather display on the watch face is hit and miss, works sometimes, sometimes not. This seems to be a common problem that other reviewers have mentioned. All in all I would recommend this watch.

I love long distance running so damn much and this little thing has been an amazing addition to the whole experience. Its nice and small and does almost everything I want it to. I would really love a camera and voice recorder for when Im out but I think I will just get a separate wrist band for that. I just tried out the lemfo lem7 and hate it. Its huge and is mostly designed to be a cell phone with a wrist strap, not a fitness tracker. The bip supports and displays continuous heart rate information which is just amazing

The watch itself is fairly attractive and comfortable. Also once you get through the involved and not intuitive setup procedure, the watch is relatively easy to use and has a nice interface. I am suspicious of the accuracy of the various functions. I have no way of verifying heart rate or sleep quality. I can verify distance traveled. On my normal morning 3 mile walk, the watch will be anywhere from 2.75 up to 3.25. That doesnt seem acceptable to me. The watch also has a nasty habit of quitting specific functions in the middle of an activity. The advertised 30 day battery life is a myth. I can get up to a week if I only use the watch as a watch. If I try to track any activity, the battery life is 3 to 5 days. Finally, the band supplied with the watched lasted well under a year before it had to be replaced because the keeper ring broke.

I have had this watch for over a year now and it is amazing. The battery life is too good it goes for over a month with a 4 hour charge. Currently I have 18 charge left after 26 days The screen is easy to read and you can download hundreds of different watch faces. The notifications can be a bit messy to set up but work well. Only issue is if you dont dismiss the notification on your phone it will repeat it on your watch. The sleep and heart rate tracking and GPS all work great. I would recommend this to anyone as best value for money.

I purchased the watch to monitor my sleep patterns, and heart rate, unfortunately both feature are not very accurate. The always on display has grown on me, not to mention the battery lasting more than a week is of note. For a device that was released in 2018, and now for around 100, you be hard pressed to get something better.

This is my second xiaomi amazfit bip watch accidentally fried the battery on first one by using wrong charger. For a budget smart watch this is amazing,the battery lasts for ever between charges ok not forever but well over a month under normal use. For its price, this smart watch is pretty amazing. OK, its not quite an Apple iWatch, but its a fraction of the price and does most of what the expensive watch can do. The build quality and style is great. I used one of these watches for a few months and was so impressed by it, I bought one for my wife too. Shes been impressed by it, especially the battery life. Depending on what features youre running on it, battery life can easily be 20 days. If using it as a basic watch, then youd get 3045days. Would I recommend it Absolutely yes

Battery life beats anything else. Even using the GPS for several 45 minute runs and walks and constant heart rate monitoring it still has 29 on day 12. The only drawback which is not huge is the weather doesnt work and the app can sometimes be buggy, but there are work arounds on everything but the weather.

Its exactly what I expected for the price I paid except maybe the inclusion of the GPS which is quite accurate when going for walks, or runs. I have yet to test it while cycling but from what I can tell , its accuracy is quite high.The battery life is more of what options you have on. For instance I am an EMT and I work with pulse Oximeters and compared to that, the watch catches my pulse correctly about 80 of the time which for me is just fine.Ive received a lot of compliments about the color and everyone always asks where did you get that or what is that kind of watch is thatIts not flashy but does draw attention and it serves the purposes that I need it for and it is a better watch than advertied surprisingly. The battery life is about a week and a half as opposed to a month which again for the options that I utilize it for is enough for me. I am quite satisfied with my purchase.

This is the first smart watch Ive purchased so cant compare against others however I love this item. Im mostly cycling so this does exactly what I want it to do. More data than you could possibly wish for is broken down after each trip even converts calories to scoops of ice cream. The battery life is just insane. I last charged this on Monday night, its now Saturday morning and I have 58 charge remaining. Ive not switched off the Bluetooth or the GPS for the whole time Ive been wearing this. Also love the look and feel of the watch, its very comfortable in the wrist. Highly recommended.

Some settings and features are located in places that were not affordable to me, but when I read the instructions I was able to figure it out.My actual complaint is that it keeps freezing. Specifically when I am using GPS on a long cycling ride. If I take a break during the ride it often freezes, usually it freezes on the screen that reminds me to longpress if I want the GPS to pause. Every time it has frozen like this it has also deleted the first portion of my ride.Im trying to send information to support right now, but that is going poorly. It asks for a lot of technical information, but it tells you how to find it, which is nice. But now it says my firmware version is wrong even though I copied it from the watch and my i am not a robot verification code is incorrect and the screen has been stuck on submit for much longer than I have been writing this

It accurately tracks all my outdoor activities which is what I bought it for which can then be uploaded to Strava easily. The heart rate monitor is a good feature to accompany my exercise data. I was surprised by the size and weight of the watch. Its incredibly lightweight and comfortable to wear. The battery is incredible, I still havent charged it and I have been using it everyday for 2 weeks. Considering the amount of features in this watch its priced very reasonably

Ive only had the Amazfit Bip for a few days and so far it has been mostly a positive experience. The best part is that it has been able to seamlessly display my Text messages and other notifications something that my FitBit never could. Battery life is amazing. The only negative Ive experienced is that it rarely is able to display a pulse reading. Not sure why this is still doing some research to see if there is a fix.

Not only does the watch function well and have 30 day battery which is true Im on 14 and my last charge has been 21 days ago its easy and convenient and not to mention that there is a whole community dedicated to customising watch faces and some lovely people have made great apps for iOS and Android in order to unlock the full potential of the watch. You can search for watch faces online and quickly install it using an app made from a developer in both stores. It pushes notifications in about a second after getting the notification on your phone which is convenient when my phone is in my bag. Overall this is an amazing product and has made me get back into fitness and am loving it

So far, the product is great. I wanted a good looking GPS watch with good battery life at a decent price. This watch is not too bulky and has above average battery life. The battery life is not the 20 days like many have suggested. My first charge got me nine days with one hour of GPS running and heart monitoring every five minutes. Twenty days is fantasizing a bit but not having to charge every few days is good. Water resistance is good. Ive had it in the shower a few times. Step tracker is a nice addition. It took me a week to get used to it. I am sure it is great for a younger person, but Im getting on in age and even I like it very much. The only problem I have is that having an old basic Fitbit band, I find the Amazfit Bip registered steps per day are less that those regestered by Fitbit.

Tried this as a replacement for my original Pebble. Generally works, but too many issues the messages on the screen are difficult to read font size, brightness and only lasts a couple of seconds very frustrating. Display is NOT at all user configurable. Screen doesnt always turn on with shake of wrist. Whilst the colour screen is pretty low res this is still a great buy and whilst it is no Apple watch you dont have to charge it every 2 days. The battery life looks to be phenomenal, I have read reports of 45 days before a recharge. I have not had mine long enough to confirm that but after 9 days it still has 80 charge. So what does it do Well apart from being a Watch which can display time, day date, it can also display heart rate, steps completed, distance completed, weather and battery condition on its main screen. By swiping on the touchscreen you can access fitness trackers, timers, more detailed weather information, phone ringing alerts and sms messages from your linked phone, alarms, compass and GPS . You cant answer calls or texts but it will flag them up. Although very light it seems well made with Gorilla glass screen and it is IP68 water resistant so you can drop it in the sink etc with no damage. Works with IOS or Android via an app and my favourite thing is that there are easily downloadable apps that enable you to download literally hundreds of different watch faces. There is a new version on the way not sure if its available yet but hopefully they will address the rather weak display resolution witjout losing too much battery life. For the money I think its great.

Bought the watch for my hubby just for tracking his steps on a daily basis. Got that and more. We only have charged the watch once on the initial set up and it has now been three weeks. The watch also notifies him if he has any oncoming calls or text, keeps track of the weather, heartbeat, sleep patterns, etc. Only reason why I rated it as 4 is because of the constant AGPS updating. Also I was hesitant to open the package at the beginning because it says youth on the outside so not sure if this was for an adult but I think it is because of the model square face instead of round. Setup took a while but wasnt too bad.

Battery life is unbelieveable as advertised. Vibration is strong so I can feel it when working. I had a Pebble watch and was bummed with its demise because nothing came close to its battery life. Heart rate monitor is a liability. I bought this purely to monitor my heart rate after a medical problem with SVT. It doesnt cope with very fast heart rate or fluctuating rate. Just spent time in hospital because for 3 days although I wasnt well it kept telling me my heart rate was in the 70s. When I finally got a proper chest band heart monitor my heart rate was 150 BPM and needed medical intervention. Things like battery life are great, step counter gets confused by other actions I got up at 6 am to drive Wellington to Rotorua, did no walking, just outside Rotorua it told me I had met my goal of 4000 steps

I had a gear fit2 pro that kept geeking out. The amazfit bip does everything it did….almost. I miss the how many flights of stairs Ive climbed, but thats it. Never stored any music on the gear fot. So I dont miss that. I use continuous heart rate on the bip, and the battery has lasted 19 days…..amazing. fits great on my wrist. Ive been swimming with it and down to 15 feet..no issues. The escreen is great in the day light. Push of a button turns the lights on for night time viewing.Overall…. absolutely amazed by the Amazefit Bip.Great watch

There is a newer model for this smartwatch at the same price, but it ships from China. I didnt want to wait months for the shipment, so I purchased from a US warehouse. I love the box it came in and the watch is in perfect condition. This is my first smartwatch, but I would say it seems to do everything as advertised. The biggest selling point for me was the battery life, which is still going strong at 8 days without a charge. I have started purposefully trying to drain the battery by turning up all features to the max, so the battery today is down to 33. Ill probably charge it for the first time in a few days.

I was looking fora replacement for a FitBit Alta, as with each app update, fewer and fewer devices were compatible with it. I didnt have a huge budget, and was looking at either fitness trackers with similar features and at a similar price point. I decided to give the Amazefit Bip a go, as it is in the same prove bracket, but with some additional features. After about a month of using it, my observations are The app isnt as polished as the FitBit app, and after a few initial syncing issues, I was up and running. The battery life is great, easily over two and a half weeks between charges. The watchface is customisable, which is neat, and I like how it takes a standard 20mm watchband. It seems to be pretty accurate at counting steps Consistent with the Fitbit Alta I had. The built in heart rate monitor and GPS is pretty neat. Im not sure how accurate the heart rate monitor is, however. Notifications form my Android phone come through. I wish it were a bit more customisable, but it does the job.

Ive never been a watch wearer, but the slim, light design of the Amazfit makes it virtually unnoticeable. I sleep with it on, to track my sleep and almost forgot to take it off before showering With the MiFit app, I can track my health and fitness progress. Not bogged down with information overload, it has everything I need. Great value for money.

The design is stylish and current, looks similar to the Apple Watch. The band is comfortable. The quality is excellent, it all has a good feel to it… Not cheap feeling. I really like the always on display. The only thing I would change is the fact that it has no onboard storage for music.

The only thing I like about this watch is the battery life which is great my watch keeps disconnecting from my Bluetooth about 6 or 8 times a day and I had to turn off the disconnected notice because it kept waking me up at night contacted support several times but no apparent fix I am never more than 20 ft. from smartphone very frustrating they think everyone is a tech expert. I would not recommend this watch unless you are very good at solving tech problems which I am not.

I used to have a Garmin Vivofit, and was looking to get something that gave me phone notifications as well as other features. The Amazfit Bip is a smartwatch Id been eyeing for quite a while, mainly because it has similar features to the other major brands out there, but has way more amazing battery life. When I found a likenewused one on eBay for 15 less than the MSRP, I sprang for it. So far, the watch has stood up well for my casual daily usage. The waterproofing works for showersbaths, and the battery life is amazing. The controls are fairly intuitive, and I like the alwayson display that shows all the info I need in a glance. If all you need is a fitness watch with phone alerts and other basic features, I would definitely recommend getting this watch over any of the others out there especially for the price

For the cost, this watch has good features. Long battery life mine is about three weeks always on screen, and basic but solid notifications, heart rate, steps, speed etc. Amazingly it includes its own GPS and compass. There are some niggles the notifications disappear too quickly although you can get them back, and the font is tiny. There are now several Android apps to add features like changing watch faces and theres now one watchface app for iOS. This smart watch is great value for money.

The GTS 2 Minis alwayson moves around the screen periodicallypresumably thats to prevent burnin but its still a bit annoying.2. Battery life is way better than the Mini 12 months vs. 12 weeks.3. This works really well with the opensource and privacyrespecting GadgetBridge app so youre not forced to send all your data to Amazfit whether you like it or not. Amazfit are trying to force us to use their own app these days so they can vacuum up our data.4. This watch is smaller and lighter than the original Bip. Ive had the watch for a couple of weeks now, great battery life, Ive only had to charge it once and have done a couple of 1520km runs, a half marathon, and tracked two cycle rides with it. Took me a little while to get used to the functions, but pretty intuitive once used a couple of times. Takes about 2030 seconds to find the GPS satellites before commencing activity, not too long, but its definitely not just hit go. Its comfortable to wear, and found it to be quite accurate, vibrating at every kilometer I ran which was very close to the markers on the race. Only minor complaint is once you have completed a runactivity it doesnt stay on those statistics for very long, then you need to find the activity burried in a few pages on the watch or once syncing to the app you can also view the statistics, but again is a bit hard to find. Amazing value, gives me everything I need on a runcycle, pace, heart rate etc. It may not be able to upload to Strava etc, but I dont have a need for that at this stage.

battery life is amazingly good, even using gps tracking a lot weeks rather than days. But the heart rate measurement is laughably bad. comparing it with both perceived effort and my chest belt HRM when Im doing indoor workouts often shows numbers like 110120, when Im in the red zone and the proper HRM is showing 170, and thats for sustained efforts of 2 minutes, not the watch being slow to respond to spikes. the GPS tracking is actually pretty good, but the altitude readings are consistently off, and I cant find any way to calibrate it so if doesnt have a base elevation of 10s of metres below sea level. The standard smartwatch notification and alarm stuff works well, and the watch has stayed connected to the phone consistently

I finally got an Amazfit bip. It is all I expected. I had problems installing with IPhone but after installing it on an Android phone, it installed on my IPhone SE. I took my dog for a walk. The GPS started and the watch showd a reasonable heart rate, steps, distance and speed. When I finished, the data loaded into the phone app. The App showed a map f where I had walked as well as a Google earth picture of the neighborhood and a path to my back door. This was shockingly accurate. The total distance shown seemed quite accurate. The display is quite clear, especially outdoors. Battery life is 30 days , phenomenal.I failed getting the watch from Gearbest and did not get a refund. I got a refund for an eBay failed delivery. I finally got it used on eBay. With all the problems getting the watch, it is worth It.

Like other reviewers have said, this isnt a smart watch as much as its a slight upgrade on really basic fitness trackers like the Fitbit Charge 2 or the Xiaomi Mi Band 2. It has fantastic battery life Ive charged it once in the last month, it tracks your steps, activity and heart rate, it gives you basic information about your phone notifications, weather, timers, alarms and tells the time. Its robust, water resistant, easy to read and comfortable to wear. Its absolutely great value for money for a watch with a few extra features.

Great budget smart watch. Its more like a fitness tracker with some smartwatch features added in as a bonus. Not a real high resolution on the screen. You cant add any apps. And additional watch faces are free, but you need the Mi Fit app and another app working together to load them. Also you need to be able to deal with 24 hour military style time because the 12 hour am pm watch faces are few and far between. BUT the steps counter seems to be more accurate than on my Samsung Gear S3, but the heart rate sensor not so much.

Ive had this close to a month now and have enjoyed using this as my goto fitness tracker. I regularly take long runs and this device manages to do exactly what I need without any hassle. I brought this primarily for the GPS feature as didnt want to carry my phone while out running. Device Its super light and easy to wear, straps are interchangeable. Simple design and doesnt get in the way when wearing. Battery So far incredible, not even a months use and its still over 30 battery left this includes multiple runs using GPS. GPS Great, it will pick up a signal in open space so make sure youre outside when doing so. Id recommend installing the app as sometimes the GPS gets updated, so be sure to keep your phone nearby to ensure its up to date. Monitoring It also includes a heart rate monitor which displays on the default screen which is nice, you also have a feature via a gentle vibration to remind you when youre been inactive for too long. Interface Easy to use and a simple UI design, its not a superfast experience but it never bothers me as Im not always browsing menus etc. It has a nice large screen so very easy to read onscreen info and can adjust the brightness if needed. Price Cant beat this, Im yet to find another device that has GPS for this price point. Extras The display design can be changed out and there are many to choose from, Im happy with the default though. App On top of this, theres an official app you can install to sync your tracking info, the interface gives you a great concise summary of each workout which you can share either in short or long format. Cons Its not a fast UI experience, and there can feel a bit sluggish at times, but its never bothered me one bit because I love this device

I purchased this as a more economical alternative to an Apple Watch for a child. When paired with an iPhone it displays incoming calls, text and alerts to save reaching for your phone. You can not reply or answer calls though you can cancel silence calls. The watch also has an inbuilt GPS to track exercise activity, weather information, alarm, timer compass and alipay have not used this. It also tells the time. The battery lasts for over a week.
