I was pleased to try this ‘Travel Steam Iron Clothes Steamer 1200W LCD Screen 2 in 1 Mini Portable Handheld Steam Generator Iron 10s Fast Heat-Up Garments Wrinkles Remover Steam Iron with 180ML Water Tank for Travel Home Office’. I wanted this travel steamer/iron for the handy upright steam generator option really. I will be attending a wedding and this will be brilliant for getting any creases out of garments on the day. It is a neat size to pack and comes with a grey, velvet type, drawstring back to store and protect. In the strong, branded presentation box you get the iron, with a shortish 160cm lead and three pin power plug, a little water container for filling the iron, a heat resistant pad, the bag, iron stand and instruction booklet. The iron itself weighs about 550grams. You can move the handle around so that instead of being on top, it points out the back, making it easier to hold and giving you access to the silicone stopper for the water tank. The sole plate looks like a typical non-stick type that you get on modern irons and is an attractive coppery colour.. The iron starts heating when you plug it in and goes through a count down, from 8, on the LED screen. When at ‘0’ it is then the right temperature and you can choose the amount of steam you want from three varying amounts, with presses of the top button. It is suggested that you use the heat resistant pad on other materials than cotton. The amount of steam generated it really great and it got the creases out of a rather creased thick cotton shirt, with ease both using the iron function and also steaming upright. There are two little things that I would like changing. The plastic iron stand does in fact get very hot and I would not like to put it on a wooden surface or the like, in a hotel room. It should be changed for a more suitable stand. Also, the lead doesn’t have an attached Velcro strap, that would definitely be handy for storing in the bag. However, I am happy to have this iron/steamer.

I find this product most useful on my bedding as I never manage to get all the creases out. Once I have put the covers on my bed I like to give it a light go over with this steamer just to finish it off. I also use it in some of my dresses that I don’t wear often that get a bit creased in the tightly packed wardrobe. It’s easy just to leave this upstairs and get it out when I need it. I haven’t travelled with it as yet but can see it would be useful and given it isn’t a full size it wouldn’t take up much room. The fact you can move the head around really is very useful.

Travel Steam Iron Clothes Steamer 1200W LCD Screen 2 in 1 Mini Portable Handheld Steam Generator Iron …. This travel iron comes neatly boxed with measuring jug, base stand, anti-scald cloth net, a carry pouch and small instruction leaflet. The power cable is around 160cm long and fitted with a fused UK 3-pin plug. The cable is PVC insulated which means it isn’t as flexible as most irons. The handle can be used in 3 positions, folded, at right angles or straight out, I found it better to use whilst folded but there isn’t enough gap to get your fingers under the handle. You need to unfold the handle to access the water tank anyway. There is a large display which just appears to show the number 8 and 4 icons to indicate the 4 steam settings, the number 8 flashes whilst heating and is steady when at temperature, I’m not sure what the significance of the number 8, it could have been any digit or icon as it doesn’t change. I also don’t understand what the ‘unique V-shaped design’ is! The hot plate is round at the ends rather than a pointed ‘V’ found in conventional irons, so I am unsure of the reference to this in the listing. The temperature is fixed at 160°C and there is no adjustment to this, so check the cloths you are going to iron first. This isn’t meant for replacing your standard iron and is best only used for a few items at a time, it does consume 1.2Kw so you don’t want to be spending hours using it. It is ideal as a travel steam iron, nice and compact and it does work well, it’s a little power hungry compared to others and the price is a little high too. It’s ok, but expensive.

This is a very nicely made portable steam iron and steamer. It heats up quickly, with a number display counting downwards from 8 to 1, and then reverting to 8 with an iron symbol indicting that the iron is ready for use. The temperature is fixed and cannot be changed. The handle swivels sideways (it is very stiff!) to reveal the water inlet, and will move further to allow for steaming of hanging clothes, as shown. A small plastic water jug is included and I found that 2 fillings will fill the iron reservoir. The device works well as an iron and also as a steamer. It measures about 16 x 10cm and weighs close to 800g. It comes with a plastic base, manual (very small print), and a cloth to protect delicate fabrics. This would be a useful addition for a self-catering holiday although probably not needed for a conventional hotel stay. The iron is probably a bit small for home use. I should also add that I found it somewhat awkward to hold since there is insufficient space between the handle and the iron itself to wrap your fingers round the handle.

This is such a good little steamer. Perfect for holidays for getting the creases out when you unpack. It does not compare to a standard iron of course however it does a sterling job at ironing or steaming when clothes are hanging. Full marks for a little Trojan that packs a punch. Takes up hardly any room in a suitcase but invaluable when travelling. Five stars and l would not be without it.

Quick Summary – The features you are getting with this watch are NOT worth the price point. You can’t even control your music or download 3rd party apps. The health tracking features are available on other watches for less. Also Fitbit premium means that its arguably best selling point of in depth health stats becomes locked behind a monthly paywall after the trial. If you want an exclusive fitness tracker and don’t care much about ‘smart’ features (eg Google Maps), if you really want a Fitbit (getting worse because of their google ownership trying to sell Pixel watches instead) get the Charge 5 (£100 and pretty much the same features for half the price), or a Garmin (better at tracking exercises/health metrics). If you care about smart features as well as health tracking, (for Android) get a Pixel Watch (2nd hand around £150)/Galaxy Watch 4/5 or (for Apple) get the Apple Watch SE (2nd Gen) for slightly more money. It is a shame but there’s no really argument or selling point for this watch, as the price does it no favours. You can either get pretty much the same for less money, or spend slightly more and get a whole lot more. Apart from being comfy to wear and looking good on my wrist, it was just an overpriced tracker. (I returned it) In Depth Review- I really did want to like this watch. From what I’ve seen Google really stripped it to the absolute barebones that it can be, to the point where there’s no real reason to this watch over a Charge 5 for half the price, for example. The Heart rate tracker seemingly worked fine, I don’t have anything to compare it with but readings didn’t seem too unrealistic/inconsistent enough to be considered inaccurate. GPS was definitely hit or miss, 1 run the watch had recorded the route going all over the place, whereas the next recorded run (doing the same route) was perfectly tracked. The sleep tracker was interesting, something I checked each morning for the few days that I had the watch on, but I could see that feature over time be checked less and less. As for the other features, I pretty much forgot that they existed, as personally those stats didn’t interest me as much as I thought they would. Also take into account, if you’re still using this watch after the 6 month trial, the in-depth readings will be locked away from you unless you pay monthly for the premium subscription. The battery life was very good. I wore it for 6 days, with a recorded run, walk or weightlifting session pretty much every day. It ended up with about 20% left when I took it off to return it. There are no 3rd party apps, Google Maps being the only non Fitbit one. Maps worked ok, but was pretty unclear at times. It would for some reason remove how far you have until the next direction, so you could either be walking in a straight line for 20 minutes or 2 minutes and have no way of telling which, without looking at your phone (kind of eliminates the point of the watch). Also, in my experience, it didn’t let me know that I had arrived so I ended up walking past my destination a couple of times. You don’t actually see a map like on other smartwatches too. I think it is too unreliable for me to properly trust for regular usage. Watch faces are ok, there are a lot of them but some need to be purchased. On the main watch face, the weather would often be just displayed as “—°” even after syncing to my phone numerous times. Occasionally notifications would stop coming through. You can either have the display as ‘always on’ or activated by a button, which was sometimes inconvenient if I wanted to just check the time whilst something was in my other hand. The watch was comfy to wear and would be easy to forget about once on your wrist. It didn’t irritate my skin at all. Overall, it is a good watch and I was going to keep it, but after talking about watches with a friend I ended up looking more on Gadget Tree and just finding out how lacklustre it is for the price. I returned it to get an Apple Watch, which will have all the fitness features I used on this watch and more because of 3rd party app support. If that does not interest you, save your money and get a Charge or a Garmin. 102 people found this helpful

I’ve genuinely found this product useful. It is travel sized and fits well inside a travel bag or holdall. I’ve found it great for a quick iron of a shirt or dress on a hotel table, but also ideal for hanging clothes that may be creased and spraying steam on them to loosen the creases. Recommended.

This stranger iron is practical and functional. What I like about it is that the handle can used in different positions, making it easy to stow, transport, and use in different scenarios. The design is okay in terms of practicality but looks cheap and tacky with its super high gloss low quality gold accents and cheap presentation. The plastic used throughout didn’t look or feel quality which is a pity. At the time of writing, £25 minus 20% voucher seemed a bit expensive considering the finish.
