January 2025 Style Name: Sony Xperia 10 VI Colour: Black I’m very pleased with the phone. As a midrange item it does everything I need. Photos are good, sound is good and it’s lasting about 48hrs between charges. I am not a high end type of user, probably about 40 mins per day online + contacts text etc.

December 2024 Style Name: Sony Xperia 10 VI Colour: Black I’m not good with technology and dread having to update anything but I love my new phone because it’s a good size and so easy to use. Photos are great, and it is such good value for the money. 3 people found this helpful

February 2025 Style Name: Sony Xperia 10 VI Colour: Blue Long battery life. A whole day constant used no problem. Nice size for the hand. Camera is nothing to talk about but it does the job. I’ve had to restart it 3 times so far due to slow down and apps not working One person found this helpful

I purchased this in a black Friday deal as it was good value for money because my previous Sony Xperia 5 iii stopped working after they shut down the 3G network. The shape and size is very similar to that of Xperia five however the functionality is not as good. I mis having a dedicated photo button and I liked having the Google search button also. The picture qualities what would be expected for this price level phone. I find that the battery life is good, nowhere near the two days advertised. But it does last of all day without needing to be charged. I’ve had no issue with lag, no speed problems when opening the apps and I didn’t really expect any as Sony generally makes decent quality phones. I think that if you want a good quality phone that allows you to use all of the apps associate with the Google Android phone then this is fine .only thing I didn’t like was how heavily it’s used some of the Google apps and I opted to use alternatives which didn’t have a pay premium for advanced functions. 3 people found this helpful

Not sure I understand the negative comments around speed of the device and freezing. Just upgraded from the 10II to 10VI and the speed difference is massive. The phone is very responsive, I love the dual sim ability, camera is good with the added option of Bokeh. The slim design and format is easily held in the hand and the battery last longer than a lot of premium phones. 13 people found this helpful

November 2024 Style Name: Sony Xperia 10 VI Colour: Blue Always buy Experia and I love this phone, even better in stereo; only downside was not getting the free headphones that I applied for and I’m still waiting 2 people found this helpful

I stepped up from an old Motorola G7 which was pretty basic but did what I needed. I wanted a better phone so was paying more. It does feel better in your hand, and is responsive. However, I feel let down by the display. It simply cannot display plain white. There is always a noticable rainbow effect across the screen. One end is pinkish white and the other is greenish white. You can put it in dark mode and it does help, but some websites have a plain white background and the colour tinting is very off putting. Secondly, my old Motorola battery was fading in performance. I was expecting something better, but no, it is about the same. It is no where near as good as the G7 when it was new. Maybe I can improve it by tweaking settings – everything seems to want to run in the background. And finally, I was offended by the inclusion of the Facebook and LinkedIn apps. These are a permanent feature of the Sony Android build. You can disable them so you do not see them, but they are still there. I hate this. They are two of the worst data abusing companies out there and I do not want their software on my phone. Sony could have easily given you a plain Android, and you could go get Facebook or LinkedIn from the App Store if you wanted. This for me was the final straw – never another Sony phone. One redeming point is the phone is quite good for music. It has a 3.5mm socket and AptX HD, and Sony do give you a music app, which is nice because they took it out of stock Android. 8 people found this helpful

January 2025 Style Name: Sony Xperia 10 VI Colour: Black i wish Sony sold these in the US because it really checks every box. Better battery life than comparably-speced phones with clean software to boot.
