I got this battery as an extra power source for my recently purchased Sony RX0 camera, I had bought a couple of very cheap unbranded compatibles but when in use I found the original Sony battery supplied with the camera almost was double the useage times compared to the cheaper option. I was also concerned that unbranded batteries might develop problems later with multipul charging over time where a Sony branded battery is more likely to be a better long term choice. Remembering experiences I have had with other cheaper batteries vs Sony branded in other camera models, yes I have experienced diminishing useage times in the cheaper alternatives but no issues whatsoever with the Sony branded originals.
