When the batteries of my MTW3s went bad, I ordered these. I ended up returning them, but only because I fell in love with the Denon PerL Pros. The case is a bit large, the fit isn’t the best, and the drivers are the same as the MTW3. All true. But regarding the case: it has a soft fabric that doesn’t scratch, meaning you don’t need a silicone case for it. Regarding the fit: it’s not bad either, it is still personal, and they come with several fins. Regarding the drivers: the sound quality is about the same as the MTW3s. But that’s not a bad thing. They sound quite involving, with deep bass, though not with the best instrument and layer separation (the Denon PerL Pros blew me away in this respect). Additionally, the touch controls are quite ergonomic, ANC is very good, the app is good, and they support Auracast, which might be handy in the future. I would have kept them… if I hadn’t fallen in love with the Denons.

Liked the warm full sound, but the treble/voices not as clear/extended (despite much tweaking) as my other buds, Samsung Galaxy buds2 Pro. Also unable to obtain a comfortable fit, from any of the supplied tips/wings. The app is also somewhat confusing. Overall disappointing & not cheap, even when on offer.

I’m a Hi-Fi enthusiast, and have always struggled to find ear-buds good enough (that I could afford), that sound anything like ‘High Fidelity’. I use over ear headphones when it’s convenient, but find ear buds really convenient when travelling light, or going on a beach holiday, for example. I’d previously tried the Sony WF1000XMs, but found them a bit bass shy for my liking, so returned them. Until recently, I owned a pair of Jabra Elite 85Ts – not the greatest, but OK. Having lost them, I took a punt on these Sennheisers, having read many favourable reviews. I was tempted by the Bose Quietcomfort Ultras, but was put off by the number of people reporting problems with intermittent Bluetooth connection. Above all, I find these enjoyable to listen to, providing enough oomph and detail to keep me entertained, without constantly analysing what’s missing. Volume is OK. They’re loud enough when just below max volume, without distortion. Are they a match for a quality pair of over-ear headphones – no. But for a convenient pair of headphones to carry around, I am really pleased with them. I’m really not interested in call quality, as that’s not what I will use them for. Noise cancelling and battery life are perfectly adequate for my needs, especially as I would prioritise sound quality over these factors all day long. Time to plug em in, stop analysing and enjoy some banging tunes. One person found this helpful

This is my 3rd set of premium earbuds, and is by far the best. I have previously had: Sony WF1000XM4’s – I thought these were pretty good, they had good sound quality, impressive ANC. They fell out of my ears a bit. They suffered the overcharging battery issue.. full charge only lasts about 10 minutes .. Out of warranty so I replaced these with 4 stars. Technics AZ80’s – Sound quality was a step above the Sony’s but the ANC was just OK. A better fit for me than the Sony’s. The battery in the charging case failed… 4 stars.. To replace the AZ80’s, I got the MTW4’s… They are in another class for sound quality… much better than the XM4’s, better than the AZ80’s. the ANC is good, better than XM4’s or AZ80s… I would need to check some XM5’s to check the latest sony offering. The personalisation EQ is really impressive, somehow it lets me find a balance of what i like so much better than playing with the sliders.. It would be nice if I could adjust the personalisation EQ whilst listening to a playing track, rather than going back to a sample track.. The fit, for me is way better than any other earbuds i have ever used.. the tips sit much deeper in my ear canal, much more like an IEM. I have no concern that they will fall out.. probably helped a little by the wing tips. The case is a little large, but i have big pockets and the benefit is more battery life in the case. There are a few concerns about reliability and battery life in other reviews.. that might be valid, but the MTW4’s have a warranty.. For now, most definitely a 5 star review for me. 6 people found this helpful

Sennheiser have finally cracked it. They are no strangers to sound and their over the head cans are some of the best in the business and they have now transferred that to their buds. I have owned them all, Samsung buds, Pixel buds, airpods, B&W, LG tones, Sony XM5 and loads of others and I know exactly what I want from a bud and these are the closest to perfection yet. The closest have been Sony XM5 and it’s very close between them but I think I prefer the Senns controls. But these two are streets ahead of the competition. Firstly, the sound, the most important aspect. It delivers this in spades with full detail and perfect balance. Only the XM5 has had superior sound in my view and only just. The controls are what really sets this apart. It is so easy to change songs and to adjust volume. A nice double tap for next tune and keep finger on bud to adjust volume up and down. Why did the Samsung buds 3 pro make it so complicated and have that squeeze to go to next track? It’s so inconvenient. Again only XM5 comes close to controls. The app is good. Very simple and easy to change to adaptive anc. Again the XM5 has superior AMC but these are very good too. The only downside actually and it’s not even a big downside is the chunky case. It’s a beautiful case but slightly on the large side. But it’s ok not a big deal. Oh and the fit of the buds, these fit perfectly first time. No need to tweak or adjust and the buds themselves are lovely to look at. Again slightly bigger than the Samsung or even xm5 but similar in size to the pixel. Overall, these are near perfect buds. Excellent sound, excellent connectivity. Bluetooth connection works better on these than any I’ve tried. Never had a drop out yet. Thoroughly recommend these (although a very close fight with the equally spectacular Sony XM5). 20 people found this helpful

Ok I admit that I bought this direct from the GoPro site but it’s the same company as on Gadget Tree and the same price and I must say it does exactly what it says it does. It comes in a very nice protective case and a super soft cloth to clean it it fits perfectly and is very easy and smooth removing it and fitting it on I have to say I’m very impressed with the quality and would definitely recommend it for your GoPro 10 One person found this helpful
