I needed this 256GB SanDisk Flash Drive to use as back up for my work and professional files. Also to backup and transport huge business video files that shouldnt be shared through cloud technologies. I appreciate the performance quality and great reputation of SanDisk. Ive used them for many years and would recommend to anyone.

In terms of USB flash drives this name brand is soo much better than a no name. I purchased a no name brand and had problems from the get go. I found these on sale and purchased two. And boy, what a difference between the two. The speed of downloading was excellent. Highly recommend

Needed a drive which would handle my major photovideo files. I travel and have to share info on various systems and internet availability to connect to the cloud is questionable. This is necessary for me to avoid embarrassment. Just know that the storage size on any flash drive is not the actual storage size. It will be less. Ive always gone light on the storage size and I finally got fed up with maxing out a drive with a partial transfer. So, for 40 it was well worth it.

Drive feels well made unlike some that have a junky, flimsy, plastic feel. And it is VERY fast. I needed to reformat it to NTSF file format to fit multiple files larger than 4 GB and it was done reformatting in the blink of an eye. Then I transferred about 175 GB of video and audio files to it and the transfer went very quickly and 100 smoothly.

I bought this SanDisk Ultra 256GB USB 3.0 Type A Flash Drive to transfer a very large quantity of files from my Daughters two no longer used and no longer useable laptops. This required the disassembling of the laptops to extract the hard disk drives and then connecting them to my computer using a SATA to USB interface adaptor. Once all of the files were transferred to my computer, they were then transferred to this USB Flash Drive without any problems. The USB 3.0 interface resulted in a surprisingly fast transfer.

I recently purchased a new desktop computer equipped with 2USB 3.0 ports. My original intent was to plug the new San disk 3.0, 256GB into the new 3.0 powered USB Hub. Alas the new 3.0 hub creates problems for my computer. I gave up on that plan for now and just use the San disk plugged directly into the 3.0 USB Port. Works great. The unit is easy to use, cuts download times by incredible amounts of time. Irecommend this product to anyone who enjoys technology, enjoys using Technology and can laugh at an issue when everything is cascading in around you. Basically any computer user

I need to boot any operating system at any time. I use Ventoy to boot almost any ISO. I can boot OS2 and Netware to Windows 11. This gave me a fast interface which works on most computers. It holds a lot of ISOs and Utilities.

This SanDisk 256GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive is great for storing files that youve created yourself. So whether its Text or Graphics or Sound or Video youve got plenty of room for plenty of files with this baby. When a standard hard drive crashes, all youve got then is a paper weight… When a USB Flash Drive reaches its maximum period of use at least youve then got a ROM Read Only Memory device. All the data is still intact and can be read and copied. Too bad Hard Drives cant do that too. Just dont drop it into a microwave oven or under a rolling tire…lol

It works fine, like all SanDisk USB drives. The price per GB is great. My only complaint is that the thumboperated extension of the USB connector out of the base is a little dodgy sometimes it wants to push back in when you are plugging it into the USB port.

When working with several computers at different locations, a large capacity SanDisk Flash Drive is a time saver. I also use flash drives devoted to individual large projects easy to carry anywhere and keeps all relevant data together on the Flash Drive.
