I absolutely do not recommend this product due to the awful form factor. I got it cheap with free shipping so will probably keep it rather than be bothered with the return process. It does not work with my android phone, cannot even plug it in. Did I mention the form factor is not good Too bulky by far. However, that is at least partially due to the otterbox case, so not totally the fault of the flash drive. Just sharing this to let folks know it likely will not plug into any phone that is housed inside a protective case. I removed the case and plugged in the flash drive and there was no recognition by the phone. In fairness maybe I am missing a step or need a 3rd party app. Dont know, not going to waste any more time on it. Disappointed with this, but its at least partially my fault for making an impulse purchase rather than considering things more carefully.

It is a very good idea, but check the compatibility of the mini usb socket on your ohone. This device has the old style mini usb socket, not the more recent rounded one. So far my usb adapter has not succeeded in getting it to connect with my phone.

I do like its multiport functionality. However, if youre inserting it in a narrow space like say on the side of a tv double check you have enough clearance for the sides of this, since they do stick out.

I didnt use the flash drive to transfer info from a phone. I did however use it for music. It worked fine in my laptop but experienced difficulties playing music in my 2020 and 2015 GM vehicles. I believe it is more of a vehicle issue and not device related. The format is correct and finding the size may be the issue.

The USB drive is excellent as a USB drive. HOWEVER if you wish to use it as a 128 GB backup disk for your android smartphone, the software required for your android phone to recognize the drive, requires that SanDisk have full access all of your information. The enclosed enduser license agreement specifies just that. Bottom line only useful as a standard thumb drive. If you do not value your privacy at all, feel free to use it as a backup drive that plugs directly into your android telephone.

Its garbage. What ever NAND memory modules are used in this probably some TLC ones, there crap, this should never of been put onto the market. After using this for months now I can honestly say after lots of testing, you will lose files at some point. If you just copy a handful of photos or mp3s every now and you wont have a problem. Try copying a few GBs of files and watch the Flash drive slow to a crawl… and then just sit there, doing nothing, thats the memory modules cooking away inside due to over heating. If you have a few thousand mp3s copied across, some of them will be 0Kb in size, gone, or corrupted. There is no way you could ever fill a 128gb card like this in one session, I had to keep unplugging it after transferring a few Gigs at a time and then allowing it to cool down before continuing otherwise the file system would get corrupted.Worthless.

I use my USB stick daily with my work and have found it very easy to use,storing and retrieving all types of data I require. I would recommend this product most definitely.

Though this flash drive does work it is a little cumbersome to get going. There are too many steps to begin downloading and those steps are a little confusing. I have a degree in computer science and I am not a novice, so better layout with instructions is needed. Because the flash drive can move back and forth within its clear case it is awkward to keep it in place when inserting into your phone. It may be better to simply have a removeable protective case that will stop the little tugofwar you have with the drive moving in and out while handling it. Otherwise, it does work. You just have to have patience with the installation and also how to handle it.

I liked the small, but not too small, size. I keep my drives in a bag attached to a USB hub, so extra length causes problems with bending as they get jostled. Only potential issue is the open loop formed when you extend the fullsized USB side this could catch on things. The plastic surround looks fairly durable. The extra microUSB connection is a nice feature.

It was smaller than I expected which is great. My only concern is the little loop for putting it on a key ring is plastic and Im afraid its gonna snap and get lost. I plan to keep it in laptop bag so itll be fine but I wouldnt recommend putting on a key ring.

I ordered 2 of these as they were well priced. They are not bad but over time I have found the design to not be that good. While inserting it in usb ports the whole thing slides and I have to fiddle with it to insert it properly. The speed is ok compared to other usb memory sticks I have had from other suppliers. Overall they are ok to save non critical work onto them.

Bought this, opened the packet and attempted to insert it into my pc, but it just telescopes the metal end goes back into the case when you try to put it in. Asked my husband to try in case there was some way to lock it that I had missed, but he confirmed it is faulty. Unfortunately Argos are not accepting returns because of Covid19.

Its really small and compact and hangs on my key chain without getting in the way. I used it to clear space on my Samsung S6 32GB and it worked perfectly. It connects really securely into my charging port on my phone and the app Sandisk Memory Zone works so efficiently and quickly to transfer all the files from my phone securely onto the Dual Drive. It comes with all the GB it says and the app even allows you to back up your whatsapp to the Dual Drive. Im geniunely so happy because this has tripled the amount of storage I have on my phone. Once Im done moving all my files eg pictures or music from my phone to the drive I can just take the drive out not worry about it. I can also use the phone to do other things such as watch Youtube while files are moving from my phone to my drive but I dont recommend this as the drive does get a little warm to the touch. This isnt a major problem though as I just select which files I want to move from my phone to drive and then leave it for 10 minutes for it to finish the job. Also using the app you can make folders in the dual drive to sort all your pictures. The price on this website is so much cheaper than other sellers which shocked me and made me concerned but I am glad to say that this website is legit and I am very happy that I decided to purchase from here.

A great item for moving files from an android phone to a pc or mac and vice versa.When connecting it, it sometimes slides down the barrel so it does not go in fully. Should have a better stop. You try to push it into your phone micro usb socket and it just moves back and the usb end comes out.

This thumb drive has big capacity and fast readwrite speeds. Works great with the new MacBook Pros once formatted. Mac users remember to format this first for best performance. I love the design which is small and has a strong enough case to keep this on a key chain so the drive is with you whenever you need it. Having 128 GB of storage in such a small package is a great way to keep a second backup of your most valuable data. The SanDisk name is one you can trust as having great quality and is worth paying a little more for. I have tried other no name thumb drives and the poor performance is not worth the small savings in money. You get what you pay for and SanDisk has always been a great value to me over the years. All my memory items used for my different devices are by SanDisk and I have never had an issue with any of them. SanDisk has earned my loyalty.

The Flash Drive I bought in store is exactly what I needed. The price was good and was cheaper at checkout. The Flash Drive is tiny, I was blown away by this, its 3 cm x 2 cm. It does exactly what I needed to do. I actually only needed a small amount of memory but this has 16 GB so I will be able to use this for a lot more than I intended. I would recommend this great product.

I use this for transfer of file between my computer and my phone. My phone does not have much storage space, so its easy to keep my files on my computer that are on my phone. It is tedious to read the instructions on usage, but like most things, if you really want to use it, it will suit your needs. I tad difficult to slide it back and forth from USB to micro USB.

This has a OTG on one end and a USB 3 Type A connector. The center slides and there is a stop for each end, but usually becomes loose, making it difficult to insert and remove. I would recommend any other USB stick.

I use USB drives now in place of DVDs as most of us do nowadays 64GB is a good all round size without being over the top. Its not lightening fast but fast expensive. I would recommend these drives, in fact I bought two more. The Micro USB would be better if it was USBC 3.1 since this is the way of future technology but a minor criticism. I have used this product to build to livecopies of a ilnux distros. Linux Mint 19.3 and Linux Mint 20.0. I have used both copies of the distros to load successfully to different computers. I have had no problems with with either linux systems and would wholeheartily reccomend this product in its 32GB format.

Bought this to use with a hi fi amp which has a USB socket on the front. I wanted something unobtrusive and this certainly fits the bill. Its very small and the plastic surround is see through. I put about 8000 music files onto it and it is still only between 13 and 12 full. There was no problem loading the files, and my device has not difficulty in reading them. It does everything it promises to.

I am giving 3 stars because this did not work for my need application but i feel it would be great for android phone users I have an iPhone with a mophie case and asked the sales rep if it would work with this setup. They were not sure and advised me that I could try it and if it did not work then I could return it for a refund. Unfortunately it did not work for this setup. I believe I must have received a defective unit. I would return it, but unfortunately I already discarded the packaging. The unit I received is extremely slow. It most definitely does not perform at USB 3.0 speeds its even slow for 2.0 Plus it gets hot after receiving even a moderate amount of data. I have always been a big fan of SanDisk products and have used flash drives, SD and CF cards without a problem. This poor review is definitely not a condemnation in any way of SanDisk products.

This product is ideal for backing up files from phone and pc all in one place. The duel connectors are great for transferring files from phone to pc and vice versa. All my music is in place so can plug it into phone pc and car. Clips onto my keyring so all my music and photos are with me and ready to share with any usb device. First, SanDisk is usually a very trustworthy brand known for their quality, secondly, its size and finally, that it has a protective cover over both connectors. The micro USB flash drive works well. But this will not work for recent versions of Android mobile phone. You have to buy another connector USB Type C to transfer data. If you have an older version of android mobile phone, you can buy. Of Course very useful.

This is a great tool for music storage, playback, and very inexpensive. Also, it processes all commands expeditiously. However, it is a challenge to install in the jack of my Maxima as my normal sized hand has difficulty accessing the limited space in the audio compartment. Lastly, the flash drive does not lock in an extended position during installation into the audio systems jack.

This is a small USB, which I wanted, and is well priced for the volume of storage. It is supposedly a USB3.0 device but it took hours to load with songs. Once loaded, it is doing a good job of playback. If it continue to perform well then it will serve its purpose. For those who wont be loading data onto it regularly and just using it for storing songs or videos, it looks like it will do a perfectly good job. For those who need fast upload speeds onto the device and will be loading and reloading data regularly, choose something else.

Plugged the Sandisk Dual Drive into the mini USB port on my LG android. Using File Manager which is free from Google Play, it immediately recognized the drive and allowed me to easily transfer my files to the Sandisk Dual Drive. I then plugged the Sandisk Dual Drive into my Windows 10 laptop. It also immediately recognized the Sandisk Dual Drive, and allowed me to copy the files which were previously on my phone, now on the Sandisk USB Dual Drive, easily to my laptop. This works great. Fast and easy. I highly recommend the Sandisk Ultra USB 3.0 Dual Drive. I didnt bother with the Sandisk app as I have other Sandisk flash drives and the app never worked to my satisfaction.

I bought this to mainly transfer files from my mobile to my laptop. Was fed up with using wire to copy files or bluetooth. Had to download the Memoryzone app with it, however I didnt like it so I deleted it. I now move photos from my files on the phone by copying them over. It is quite small and slightly fiddly to open. However works well and it is cheap. Sometimes it says theres a problem with the usb and to scan it, I ignore it and it still works fine

Transferring files from phone to computer now is a fly. No longer waiting, it is fast, very fast. I like the thing that I can clean up my phone any where and whenever I want to. Just plug it into the phone by using microusb and move any file that I want onto it. Then I can plug it into usb port of my pc at a later time to save all the files there, or plug it into usb in my car to listen to the music from mp3 files. I like it alot. However, there was a little confused at first as how to slide the port in and out, but after a while it just come easily.

Definitely recommend great function with this if anyone wants to use it for films you can watch them straight off the memory card no need to down load first. You can buy adaptors for the end of the Micro USB to use it on your required device and they arent expensive I recommend UGREEN for the adaptors. I bought this USB drive thinking I could easily swap files from my phone to pc or vice versa. Well I didnt read through the list of compatible phones thoroughly enough. My Samsung S9 doesnt work with this drive. Or any of my older phones either. If its not in the list, dont buy this.

I love this little thing, got the 32gb, and then the 128. I mean I like to sleep with it under my pillow at night. Works well with my Samsung galaxy J7 Crown. Even though my Galaxy has a very high capacity SD card, it is still great to be able to transfer photos and files back and forth. I am thinking about asking it to marry me, lol, I just had to say that and now that it is out of my system, I will close by saying what I said in the beginning. I LOVE this little guy, big things do come in small packages.

It is a nice flash drive. We can use it for USB as well as phones non Apple. So a huge convenience.Since there is not much material, it becomes difficult to stick it inside the port. The sleeve slides back. We had to stick a finger inside to insert it into a port.Also this is so small and minimalist, we need to tie a rope or wire. It will be better if the casing was full.

A lot of storage on this USB which was exactly what I was looking for. I read other reviews before purchasing and they all seemed positive but I was concerned about someone saying it could be fiddly to manipulate. It can be, but not to any great or irritating extent and the advantages of convenience, space and utility far outweigh that. Happy to recommend it.

I used it to copy close to 100 GB of files without any trouble, although I didnt time it simply started and walked away. Since then I can write up to about 1 GB at high speed, around 100 MBs, but after that the speed drops to much less than 1 MBs and even stalls repeatedly. This even after deleting all the data on it and emptying the trash to start over. The initial fast write is possibly due to writing into a cache of that size. Reading still seems to be OK, but without being able to write anything more than 1 GB at a time makes it pointless to buy a drive of this size. Right now I have been copying 100 GB again for two days and its only about 13 finished. It will take a week to complete.I might have thought it was an isolated case of a bad device, but I also bought a SanDisk 256GB Ultra Fit USB 3.1 drive, which I presume is the same drive with different connectors, after my initial good experience and it behaved the same way. On the other hand, a Buffalo 500GB HDPNTU3 external disk plugged into the exact same USB port with the laptop operating under identical conditions consistently writes and reads at 100 MBs for years, so its not an issue with either the computer, the load, the OS, or the USB port or controller. Several speed tests also showed the same behaviour.I am surprised none of the other reviewers seem to have had a similar experience. I did find similar testimonies online with some commenting that it gets hot, which is true almost but not quite painful to the touch. Got this usb for mobile file transfers and also to use it as a bootable usb for operating system installaions linux and mac osx. Pros Small usb OTG drive so you have one drive storage for 2 purposes. or use it as you like. The plastic housing can be easily removed to make it smalled see below Performs ok when used as bootable usb on mac tested Is recognised by mac osx 10.6.x and above normally when you make it GUID partition and bootable etc. Cons. Drive plastic enclosure is very big and takes up all free space between 2 usb slots, making it impossible to use the other port. On my old mac, i had to remove my usb mouse to use this usb drive… Very slow speed performing drive. I copied 22GB from my mac to the usb formated as hfs extended in 50minutes I see during copy, the info on my window and is 10MB per second transfer speed. Way slower trasnfer rates than my old sandisk drives. Generally speaking… total crap to my eyes, but has nice capacity and i find it ok for the money and the OTG feature. How to fix the bulky enclosure problem may break warranty… You might need a magnifyer glass to allow you precise removal of plastic cosmetic design parts… With a metallic Pry bar tool for mobile phone repairs you can push it firmly under the plastic black colored kind of grip with the sandisk imprint on it, and lift it up from one side. Hold it with your fingers out of the locking plastic slot, and move it towards one side you will see which direction depending which side you started from do the same for the other side. You will see that it can now be removed from the grayish frame which slides back and forth When is removed from the frame, and better using a magnifier glass, observe the groves direction of the plastic canal and disassemble by pushing each plastic side towards the exit of these plastic canal groves to completely remove the black plastic which is onepiece U shaped object. You now have a bare usbotg drive and you have free space for using a second usb slot now. I hope i helped you a bit to disasemble it. Keep the plastic parts the frame and the Ushaped plastic holder in hand, in case you want to use them again. I personally use the black slider attached to a small string to hold the drive with my other usb ones and remove it when i have to use 2 usb slots for my work. When you make it bootable, ie 7gb image on it, you have no access to the rest space of drive unbless you make partitions to it i guess. Did not tried to install multiple oss in different partitions though etc.

My only issue is, and it was more of my flub up, I wish they had a usb type C model because I realized that is what I actually needed and didnt pay attention. Fortunate that both my mainstay devices LG Rebel phone and Samsung Galaxy tablet both are capable of reading it because there are some others that will only read smaller drives. This is a very hand drive for phone to PC transfers. Drive is fast, both on standard USB 3.0 to PC and microUSB to phone. Write and read speeds are both about what I expected from a decent 3.0 device. The plastic has started to crack around the frame, but from 6 months on my keychain in my pocket, I consider this acceptable wear, as it isnt really affecting the functionality at this point. Most USB drives Ive had in my pocked have broken by now.

Lasted less than two months before it gave up the ghost it just stopped showing up in My Conputer. Warning please purchase this USB stick if your mobile phone is compatible with micro usb. I think its compatible with iphone only. It dod not commect to my Samsumg a70. Its good as you can commect both USB port on Laptop and your mobile phone. Check your size of port on your phone beforehand. My phone is a type c.I did find pushing the leveler up or down to switch from USB to phone usb a bit tricky.

The drive itself is tiny so losing it may be an issue for some people.The slider on the drive doesnt seem to be very stable when its extended either way, I often have trouble plugging the drive in because it just retracts back in to the centre position.Writing a lot of data to this drive made it extremely hot, to the point I nearly burnt myself when I tried removing it, you definitely need to wait a bit before you try removing the drive.The speed on this is fine and if all you need is speed this is a perfectly capable device.

Worth noting that the small USB connecter is not the small USBC that you would be expecting, but is a micro USB yes, another one which my up to date Android phone certainly cant use. Regular USBC would have been perfect.Marketingspeak speed is up to 130MBs but my testing shows a write speed of 8MBs or 9MBs on average and a read speed of the claimed 130MBs on average. It goes without saying that we could all do with higher write speeds on these USB sticks.

With the onboard SanDisk App installed I could copy or move files between Internal memory, installed SD card of my Google Android tablet and the Dual memory device plugged into the USB C charging socket. I could then take it out and plug the Dual into my Mini Mac desktop computer using the other end hence Dual which had a standard USB male connector. The mini Mac recognised the Dual as any other USB Memory stick without any extra software involved.

I chose to buy enough of these for the whole hockey team. My grandsons team won the National Championship USA Hockey 16U AAA and I am providing game highlight videos for the 25 games that I videoed. I burned BluRay discs for them but wanted to give them the same files in mp4 format so they could import them and edit them on their own computer to make their own individual highlight reel. To be able to plug this device into your pad or phone as well as your computer is a great idea. However when it came to transferring files it has a few hiccups. If you a simply loading a single file, ie movie file, it is fine, but if you try to download a few files at the same time then it has a hissyfit, slows down to kilobytes per second and sometimes stops all together for a while before it makes up its mind to start again. Originally I thought it was my computer but tested another usb 3 stick and found that was a lot better and faster and when downloading 3 files each file was done at a speed in excess of 7 megs.

It is astoundingly small for such a large capacity. However, the mechanics of choosing one plug or the other isnt perfect. If you try to insert, say, the USB plug, there is sometimes not enough resistance in the mechanics, meaning the USB plug, rather than completing the insertion into the socket, will sometimes retract into the unit. The same is true for the other micro USB plug. On the plus side, it really works perfectly fast and so on.

Its a great little thumb drive, very fast, at least for what Im used to. I say its too small, and it kind of is, for me anyway. I find myself repeatedly checking my pocket to make sure its there. It feels really fragile, but I guess isnt as I havent had any issues with it. Its sort of advertised as a backup device for your phone. Well, with my phone its a bit clunky to use. But, Im using a LG G3 running Lollipop 5.0.1 as that is as modern as I can get w my provider. I also have a Otter Box phone case. Sooo this means if I want to use the SanDisk with my phone, I need to take it out of the case, which is sort of a pain. Kind of nitpicky but I dont want to do that every time I want to back something up. Also, its a bit clunky with the way you use it while its connected to the phone. Otherwise its a great thumbdrive. It does have a detent in the sliding action so the connectors arent always sliding out and works well. I only gave it 3 stars because of the phone aspect, which may be a but unfair. I might bump that up to 4.

Having failed to transfer photos from my S7 to a MacBook using Android File Transfer and Smart Switch, I got this beauty. Sure, its a 2step process, but it works. Plug one end into the S7 and transfer files using My Files, then move to the Mac and voila

Can only format it in FAT32 that certain software formats in. Also one can NOT make dual partitions on it . I bought this to put ACRONIS Backup on it and then to save my 20GB partitions to it. ACONIS as far as I know only lets one format their Media Builder SW in FAT32. An and so does ACTIVE BOOT DISK to make their bootable media.So cant put my backups on it. FAT32 limits one to a file size of 4GB. Lastly, it writes slowly, I think about 10MB certainly under 20MB.I wouldnt but this again Its not worth half the price I paid for it. I only bought this drive cause it was a dual ended, and especially with the micro connector on one end. As far as I searched there no other USB 3.0 dual connecting drives with a micro on them.

Item is nice and compact and seems to read and write quickly. I found sliding the plastic housing to access the inputs a bit of a fiddle to begin with, but soon got used to it. I have used it on both a Mac and Chromebook Pixelbook and its worked flawlessly on both.

Sandisk makes a great Micro USB Flash Drive Easy to use and carry around with you. Works great for the computers and you can use it as an OTG drive with your phone.

I needed a USB flash drive to transfer music to for use in my new car. This device works as expected. The only thing Im not excited about is the slider personal preference. Other than that, works great.

Just what I was looking for to extend my mobile phone memory especially on holiday. You can take all the snaps you want then transfer them from the phone to the memory stick then repeat again. Furthermore you can take a copy of the snaps on your partners phone including copying over any other data from phone to phone. Convenient

You cant beat the price for 128G, but I was very disappointed in how bad the write speed was. The read speed clocked in right around 150MBs as advertised, but for the price I did expect the write speed to be quick a bit slower, probably around half that. But I wasnt expecting around 15MBs, which is pretty bad. You probably wouldnt want to use this on a regular basis to move files around, but if you just need it for an inexpensive one time hand off of files for someone, its not a bad deal.

I enjoyed the help I received. I would like someone to show me step by step.how to download data from my phone to the stick and how to retrieve the information whenever I need to. The associate did all the work and I didnt see anything he did. So I have a piece of hardware that I have no idea how to use.

It is a small and compact. Micro and regular USB connectors are definitely a plus. Reading and writing speed is not super, but pretty good.

I always need storage to back up my work. This is just the convenient little partner to my Microsoft Surface 7. It is not bulky and not even noticeable when plugged in. Excellent tool.

It works good to transfer files, but its good for old devices if it does support it. These days youll see usb c and less of these ones being used, but if its cheap just because you want to use the usb side is not a problem.If you do having something like a tablet or a samsung phone that supports it. It might work, but overall it does what it needs to do to get the transfer files done.

As a pro I use SanDisk products for long time. This USB flash drive was a waste of money for me. If you format it at FAT 32 the writing speed is slow, but you can use it without any problem. If you format it as EXfat the speed will be great but the flash drive will get very hot. Is small and the cooling system on it is very poor.

Ive bough two of these. The first one was bought in November 2017 and I used it fairly intensively. often transferring multiple files of over 1GB at a time between my phone and PCs. The slider is a little fiddly but it did the job perfectly for 18 months, after which the micro USB end stopped working. As it was bought princiapply to transfer files between phone and PC this meant it was no longer suitable for its intended purpose though it still worked fine as standard USB stick. Suspecting I had been unfortunate I bought an identical replacement in July 2019. All was well until Feb 2020 when it suffered the same failure. I wont be getting a third.Never had any overheating problems or file corruption. Maybe its a rare thing for the micro USB connector to fail and Ive been really unlucky to get the same failure twice. Absolutely brilliant when it was working, but a real let down when it stopped doing so.

Most of you will probably realize that. I just made that title for the few people that might be having one of those days and let that slip by, like I did the day I got this, when I thought it was a flash drive with a regular USBA on one end, and a USBC on the other end, when it was actually a micro USB. I kept it anyway though, and it works great, even to this day. It also turns out that I could use a micro USB to USBC adapter to have it function like I wanted it to funcion anyway.
