Awesome 512GB USB Stick super fast and durable would definitely recommendSanDisk is top notch and PC Case Gear is incredible with there serviceLove it

High recommending. It has never let me down, I will never recommend buy a cheap version. This is the best there is on the market which is why I highly approve of purchasing this product. 1010
bishop0777 –
Its a amazing product. Small discreet, fast and most importantly comes with secure software unlike others.
gyap1 –
Probably the smallest flash drive in the market. The downside is that it has potential to get lost easily. I had to put a keyring on it to prevent loosing. Transfer speed is ok. I think its one of the cheaper USB 3.0 flash drive in the market. Does the job as described.
vbnetcoder –
I bought this to play music from in the car. I put into the computer to format it, added a few free dj mixes on it, safely removed it and it was scalding hot Is it fast As long as it plays the music I put on it, I dont care. Personally, I wouldnt buy another because of the heat

I have had many different flash drives over the years and Sandisk is one of the best. What makes this drive is the reliability and speed. I also like the size since I always carry one in my pocket these Ultra Fit flash drives are great except when you forget to take it out of your pocket and it gets washed. I have 5 or 6 of these and with USB 3.0 I get good read and write speeds. If I am copying large files I get around 170 Mbits s or 21 MBytes s which is not bad for what it is. The construction of these drives is very good and I have never had an issue with them coming apart and the drives last a long time. I have had countless other brands that last anywhere from a few weeks to about 6 months but Sandisk drives just keep working. I am looking forward to Sandisk USB 3.1 version whenever it comes out.
ilwillis –
This is the smallest flash drive I have ever used. I managed to transfer over two and a half thousands songs onto the flash drive in super fast time. Sound quality is very good and it protrudes so little from the USB drive that you would hardly know its there. A very impressive little bit of technology for technophobics like me.
Frankie –
its amazing how fast it is and amount of memory. 256GB. The only thing its Tuff at times to open and being a senior with disibilites. Maybe a new version would help. Im 70 and still game build my PCs Good value .
origjoker2356 –
These are good drives for my use, They seem as fast as any other USB 3.0 drives I have used in the past and the small size makes them ideal for car stereo or laptop use. I have used 4 of these drives total and did get one that didnt want to format correctly but other than that I havent had any problems with them. I use one in my car for MP3s and I ordered a couple for friends laptops to use for ReadyBoost and they have worked as expected.
i.want.it.2 –
Does all it says but………….. its a pain to get the security safe workingclickand drag, copy and paste never seem to work. Most of my files are left outside the vault and unprotected Sometimes it opens a file and saves all sub files instead a lot of deleting is necessary.
kww213 –
This is an ultimate in large just the right size flash drives. Use your primary internal hard drive or SSD only for the operating system and all other applications, but use a flash drive for all your data. And than, to prevent the loss of your data, clone it on another external device of same size such as another flash drive or external SSD
gghorseguard –
This Sandisk 128 Gb is fast robust and TINY. It hardly protrudes at all from the side of a notebook computer and can be left in place. This is the USB 3.0 version as opposed to the current USB 3.1 which is theoretically faster. Most people including me only have USB 3.0 ports so this one does the job. The only down side is it so TINY …which makes it easy to misplace. Fortunately there is a small hole into which you can insert a tether. I love this TINY device
surplusandoverstocks –
I purchased this memory stick specifically for its small size so that I may put it in the car and not have a large stick sticking out. Its worked perfectly so far, and writing all my music files to it was quick and painless. It is only usb2.0 but that is fine as so is the car. Recommended for anyone looking for a small USB device.
threetenners –
I got this for the new JVC touchscreen head unit in my car. Ive almost put my entire music collection on this drive and still have tons of free space. My old USB drive was a 16Gb 2.0 and would occasionally stutter or just quit. Smooth sailing with this one, and the low profile makes it nearly invisible in my car. Love it
gauntlet20 –
Does what I want of it. Very compact and suitable for my tabletkeyboard as extra storage. I can leave it in and not be hindered by it at all.
mickeymichael –
Have a new car that has a USB input for the radio. I listen to audio books and this drive allows me to load a number of books on it. Also, the location of the USB port is in the console storage area and a traditional long drive could be damaged while accessing other items in the console. The low profile of this drive helps keep it out of harms way Works great
Stevew5466 –
So small and wonderful. Bought for music in car. You hardly notice it there. Has red light which matches the car linter all light colour….result Best Buy Ive made in years
DL101063 –
This scan disk flash drive has an excellent physical size as i use it mainly for playing music in my car. It fits perfectly in my usb drive as it is located beneath the arm rest. I can now fully close the arm rest without the worry of breaking the usb stick which I happen to do so with the larger ones.
escafeld –
This is such necessary kit for anyone to own. It holds tons of photos or MP3 music files. Ive transferred all my CDs to Mp3s and with this I can take my whole collection everywhere and yet the device is smaller than my thumbnail. Added a Lightning to USB adapter to my iphone and now I can play my music collection wherever I go.
imagemaker64 –
The physical USB interface has become the limiting factor with regard to size, as memory modules are miniaturized. This device is small enough to leave permanently installed in your laptoppc and at 64GB plus USB 3.0 speed if youve got the port it is a feasible alternate to internal memory expansion certainly cheaper per GB than SSDs at this time.
bbuckley00 –
The size, both physical and memory size, was why I chose this USB. It works fine and I cannot fault it. I havent given an answer, re reliability, because this can only be truly answered over time.
Kenneth B. –
Get it, great storage. Just no dustless cap feature means this isnt a keychain item.
donkyboy76 –
Easy to use and leave in your laptop tablet as it is very small and doesnot catch on anything, this was the most important thing for me. I am getting descent speeds copying to the flash drive on my PC pluged into USB3.0 and allows HD content to be played back flawlessly on all of my mobile devices. Sandisk always manage to deliver great products.
Michael –
Product was packaged well and was not too difficult to open. I has functioned flawlessly since I received it. ReadWrite speeds appear normal. I have had no issues or difficulties to date, and do not anticipate any. I am a returning SanDiskWD customer with several previous products.
deejazzdancer –
I have tried several other brands of flashdrives and many of them were made of inferior materials ,manufactured poorly or are too bulky. Great feature is that they can be used both in a Mac and ordinary laptops and pcs back and forth, never losing ones data. Great capacity for storing HD videos, large photo files etc. The download time is under 10 minutes for 10 GBs of data. Will only use Sandisk USB 3.0 now would just ask for more variety in colors for filing purposes….
emmape –
Small but fast, this Cruzer fits the bill. I like the size because there is almost no chance of it breaking while plugged into the USB port. I have seen standard size flash drives get bent and become useless after someone carelessly was using their laptop near the edge of a desk and accidentally hit the flash drive with their hand.
lbou2233 –
Love my new 3.0 USB Flash Drive. SanDisk is a very reliable product. I have 4 of these and i love them. The lowprofile allows you to leave the flash drive right in the USB port when storing in your travel bag. No need to remove it.
jeff.lucas –
What a great product. I bought this flash drive to store my music collection for use in my car. Conventional flash drives stick out and just look messy. This drive is barely noticeable, with USB 3.0 speed, and unbelievably cheap. After showing the drive to my colleagues, 2 have already purchased one.
aiq2009 –
Bought this USB drive for my chromebook. With its compact size the USB drive can be permanently plugged in, providing access to my file any time. Very pleased with it.

I didnt believe the other reviews when they said this thing gets really hot but I was proven wrong. This thing gets hot Be sure not to get this little thing caught in an enclosed area.
sayed1989 –
Very good, very fast, nice big memory, but only one issue. The design causes the flash drive to become very hot during file transfer. This has hot caused me any problems over a 6 long period but I can imagine the drastic variation in heat during constant use will affect its useful life. Apparently this is caused by the lack of vent holes at the top of the USB. Although I have verified this against other flash drives, I am unable to confirm if this is the cause.
wingfootedgod –
I find this drive meets its specified read and write speeds. Its also very tiny and convenient to carry attached to a keyring. It also works really well as a bootable drive for recovery or install tasks i.e. for running live Linux CDDVD or for use as a Windows 10 installer. The metal can get very hot indeed with large data transfers. Not hot enough to burn your skin but enough to really surprise you and persuade you to handle it by the plastic only.
2015eskypyl –
At first i was skeptical, yet i still gave it a go. For the price, it could really well be a counterfit small storage device with modified firmware, yet, after testing it with three different software, i can assure that i indeed bought a 64Gb, USB 3.0 flash drive for less than 20. The device itself has some overheating issues, but from what i heard, it s a design flaw, i hope it doesn t give me problems in the future.
ipf120302 –
Seems to be a good drive and the price was great. It does get extremely hot upon any kind of use. transfer speed varies alot. so far though it has performed well. I just need to make sure i touch it frequently when using to transfer the heat from it. read multiple reviews on this drive and this seems to be the issue with alot of users. as long as it keeps my data and doesnt lose it im good.
uancomputer –
This little drive is perfect for my case, which has a spring loaded door hiding the front USB ports. I can plug it in and close the door and you never see that it is there. The transfer speed is quick, and the quality is what you would expect from a SanDisk product. I highly recommend this drive

Im going to toss out all of my large, awkward older thumb drives that Im always afraid will get broken off and brake the usb socket with it and replace them with these amazing little Ultra Fits. I have 32 and 64 gig ones and soon will purchase a 128. I do live performances with music instrument libraries and so I have a need for for lots of storage and durability. Everything I could ever need in an external memory. And they can be safety encrypted too.

Bought this to use with a GIGABYTE GA9SISL Mini ITX Motherboard, in order to to install and boot ESXi 5.5. Its installed in one of the two external USB 2.0 ports and is small enough that it doesnt block the adjacent USB port. The Gigabyte9SISL motherboard list it as a bootable device and it works fine as such. ESXi 5.5 installer recognized it and is now the boot device. Works great. Initially, I installed the flash drive in another machine with a USB 3 port, to clean it up, to clear the partition label and to do some general testing. I found this SanDisk 64GB Ultra Fit CZ43 USB 3.0 Flash Drive to be fastest enough for me and hoped it would work in a USB 2 port, without being a dog or having compatibility issues. I didnt have any issues and turned out to be a reasonable solution as a ESXi boot device.

Put this in my PS4 maybe 6 months ago. It seemed a little laggy from the start, when I wanted to bring up the option screen like to close an application, switch sound to headphones…. there would be a brief delay but no big deal. Tried to turn it on today and it says it can not access the system storage
technoguy321 –
Ive only had this for a few days, but it seems to do the job. 128 gigs at this size and price is definitely a good deal. Ive already formatted to NTFS put a backup of Wikipedia on this flash drive. The only thing is that it seems to get a bit hot when its plugged in, but it still works fine.
andhu222 –
Product as described. Small enough to be left connected and personal safe feature easy to use.
geekapproved –
Im a PC technician and I bought this to use as a recovery tool. Ive loaded a bootable, menu driven ISO loader onto it along with ISO images for Windows installation, data recovery programs, live Linux distros and several other live ISOs, and I still have space left over. Its extremely slim physically and most people are surprised that Ive got so much on it. Its plenty fast enough for running a live operating system from it, or for installing Windows from it. Transferring large files to it is about average for USB 3.0. Its far faster than the cheap ones from China, but not quite as fast as the drives that are built for speed. This drive actually has an activity light too. the SanDisk logo on the face of the drive slowly blinks red when theres activity. You cant even tell it has a light until it lights up. Thankfully its not bright or annoying like some others. Its a very cool design. I will buy more of these when I have the need.

When using a usb stick with a laptop, it is easy to forget its there when moving or plonking it down somewhere. This tiny stick removes a lot of the risk of physical damage. When in use, it does leave a dust cap to be lost however.
slopedragonx –
Amazing capacity in such a small drive. Ideal for music in the car with such a small form factor it will not get in the way. Much more plasticky than the previous series of ultra fit, but not likely to be an issue if you fit and forget.
eus055 –
Had a different brand of 500 gig external storage. It died with a lot of data which couldnt be retrieved. Ill stay with the Sanisk brand, from now on. So large a storage unit, but only about the size of your thumb Thanks, Ed
lchomes –
Works great and the super slim profile gives you many more options for its use. For example I plugged mine in to my car stereo for music and it is so slim you dont even notice its there. Also you can go past the 32 GB LIMIT of many micro sd card readers with the USB Port.
guscxx –
Great little USB stick. Short review Very compact, Fairly fast readwrite speeds, Reliable. Want more info Read on USB 3.0 means fairly fast file transfer speeds when writing to it. I have had the 64gb one for a while and it has been very reliable so when I spotted a 128gb one for under 20 including postage it wasnt a tough decision to make. Its physical size is both a plus and a minor minus. It barely protrudes from any USB port, so it not prone to being knocked outdisconnecting, but can be a bit fiddly to remove as there isnt much of it to grasp. Also locating it in a pocket or bag can be panic inducing as its so small that it isnt easily spottedfelt. And while it has facilityhole for a straploop to be attached to it none is provided, so as a keyring attached storage option you have to figure out your best option if you want it somewhere locatable at most any time. It can get a little toasty as there isnt much of it to dissipate heat, but I have never experienced any stoppage or noticeable thermal throttling. If you have a work computer with limited storage that is in and out of a bag all day these are great as you can leave it in place rather than connectingremoving every time. I DJ from a laptop and often space is very limited and things get jostled, so thisis great for expanding the library of tunes available without having a regular size USB hanging out the side to the laptop in harms way. Recommended if you want a dependable, compact, storage option.

Pros Its smallCons it runs ridiculously hot. so hot, that i run it off an extension cable in case it damages my usb port. this entirely defeats it been small. total waste of money.
jmoneste –
The good USB 3.0, small and with good capacity. The bad they get hot after transferring to many files. After ignoring they get hot these are great USBs for the price, they are from a wellknown USB manufacturer and they have great warranty. As of now I have several products from them and I have never needed to claim any warranty. Recommended.
wallcrawler333 –
Tiny form factor is ace, and the main selling point. Its unlikely to get knocked out of its slot. Used in a Surface Pro for main storage. Very fast and reliable. Havent encountered the overheating which some have mentioned. Great buy.
chilibean2008 –
1 Tiny 2 Cap slides then snaps in one way but a little hard to remove since you cant get a good grip because its tiny. 3 Gets really hot while in use but cools off in about 1 minute when not in use. 4 Red led when in use. 5 Includes SanDisk SecureAccess v3.0 inside it to password protect your USB drive especially if it gets lost.
Jeremiah P. –
I purchased several different sizes of the SanDisk small formfactor USB drives. I hadnt purchased any previous versions that were this small, so let me say WOW The fact that 64GB of data can fit on this tiny thing smaller than the pad on my thumb… IT IS SMALL is amazing. Transfer speeds are extremely fast. I was actually looking at other brands but I NEED reliability with my external data. When the EGGies put this on sale, I snapped up a bunch of different sizes for various projects. If you want a small external drive this is the one I keep it plugged into my MacBook Pro 247 and it barely sticks out from the side maybe 14, if that.
Jesse L. –
I bought this to plug my favorite music into my car. It worked awesomely. But, then my car started hanging around with this kid named Arnie. And soon, there were a lot of deaths in the area. But then, I realized I was just watching the movie Christine, so everything was fine.
humach –
Ive purchased several of these in the last couple of years and they are fantastic. I use them for my business and personal information storage. They are so small that I leave them in one of the usb ports on my laptop when Im on the go. Transfer time from my C drive is very quick too. Only drawback is they are hard to finds if you should happen to drop one in a deep pile carpet or a dirt driveway. Sandisk should make them in fluorescent colors.
jodonut –
Excellent quality product as always from Sandisk. Disappointed to find it isnt actually as low profile as the older Micro version, which really does fit snugly. The finger grip on this model sits out quite a bit, meaning it is not ideal for in the car stereo, or tablet, being vulnerable to accidental knocks…
olds97lss –
So far, this is proving to be a pretty good thumb drive. I got it for the sole purpose to use as an ubuntu boot drive. Took a bit of work to get the software all working how I wanted, but none of the issues were due to the drive. This is far faster than some older 8GB geeksquad drives I had. I wanted this one because its fast and very short, so it doesnt stick out as I plan on keeping it connected to the laptop all the time. Unfortunately, the laptop is USB2 only, so it cant leverage the speed of this device fully. It still reads faster than older USB3 drives I was using. When I wrote everything to this drive, it was via a USB3 port on my main desktop. I believe it transferredwrote data around 40MB per second. The files I copied to it were around 6GB total and it didnt take long to copy things repeatedly. It was also very fast to copy from. After setting up ubuntu and getting everything situated, I copied the entire drive to a folder on my main pc as a backup. I went through this process 4 or 5 times before I was satisfied with my setup.
rcheapdeals4u –
This is one of the BEST flash drives out there. Very small with a lot of space. Purchased a 128GB got at least 115GB not bad. So small its great for a laptop to put it in and never have to take it out especially for those with laptops or tablets that have little 16GB space.
sonae –
Nice and small. When plugged into my car radio it looks like another button. It can hold all of my music and when I program it the files load so fast that if I dont look at the drive to see the light flash you would think that nothing happened, but it did and the files all play fine. Highly recommend.
raj1423 –
Nice and small pen drive with a useless plastic cover put it on but took some time to get it off again Didnt test read write speeds or any software supplied because it was brought to use as a recording medium for my smart tv. It was detected and formatted. Now plenty of space to record tv shows.
leigh3747 –
Extremely small USB memory stick You could leave it permanently in your laptop USB port and you would never notice it. Performance and reliability has been good so far… no problems with this product. Highly recommended.
James B. –
My bet is most people will use this as additional storage in a TabletNotebook so once inserted it probably wont be removed. For this its great. For a USB drive you are going to insert and remove a lot its fairly hard to grab onto since its so small. Would be great for sending tons of data offsite such as a backup of all your photos to a family member in a padded envelope.
Merseylad77 –
Whilst I am very pleased with this USB drive it is very quick transferring files via the USB 3.0 connectivity and the file password facility is a great thing to have on a portable drive the real reason why I bought this model over others is because I thought that the drive would be extremely flush with my laptop as I have sadly experienced knocking other USB drives and damaging the actual port and the drive itself. Not goodSadly, this drive still sticks out by nearly a centimetre see picture, so I would like to make other buyers aware, just in case they are purchasing this for the same reason as me. As the product itself is excellent, I am not going to be overly picky and knock a star off. However, I would like SanDisk to actually provide a picture itself of the drive in use.
Anonymous –
I bought one on Aug 2018. I left the flash drive plugged in to my laptop all the time. After 9 months, the drive is no longer working. On occasions I unplugged the drive, it feels hot to the touch. I wonder if the heat eventually ruined it.
keymatlag9 –
This product does reach the speed of 130 MB s but is 130MB s READING, does not write to 130MB S, as specified in the product description the speed is READING, not WRITING, which only reaches a cap of 40MB s, which is quite little if we compare it with reading, however, for the price of it, it is a very good purchase. Highly recommended Buy 4

This is a small thumbnail drive and works well. However it is entirely made of plastic ,whereas the image seemed to indicate it was metal and plastic .I was initially concerned that if plastic it could break. However it works well and seems robust. Great value device that works well.
Stas –
Noticed my Mac lost battery quicker when I leave the usb in all the time. So, I just eject it when Im done but leave it in. Works for me. Great price and lots of storage space.
rogueqd –
Not mega fast, but the fastest youll find for the money. A great value drive, Ive recommended it to many friends who have all been happy. My only complaint is that its too small. Sometimes its hard to remove from the pc because theres just not enough surface to grab on to.
xantia1975 –
This flash drive is very good. Its small profile is easy to handle i.e inserting into the computer absolutly no issues on removing it. I use this device in my car stereo which has a a USB port. The advantage is the small profile does not get in the way with driving or using any of the controls unlike regular sized flash drives which could break as a result. It comes with security software on the drive, not used so cannot comment on that. Its good, its cheap, its reliable
toybuy –
I use mine with a collection of readytogo operating systems in a usb 3 port. I like its low profile and price, I originally bought it to work as extra ram on a windows machine but it got too hot. Was not so keen on the high temperatures so use it almost exclusively for Linux now and it usually only gets warm if Im doing a lot of music or graphics. Its tiny so youll want to think of somewhere safe to put it
Lean1ng –
This is brilliant for my car stereo as it doesnt stick out and it matches the red on the head unit. It comes with a plastic protector for the USB connector although I dont use it as the memory stick is so small I can leave it plugged in all the time. Its USB 3 so copying files to it is very fast. Perfect
Global Connect –
Great product. Works great on my iMac . I used it to store photos .

These go on sale a lot and during holiday sales I managed to round up 3 of them at a mere 30 each. I got one Samsung drive for 44 and man I wish I would of put my money all in Samsungs drives. They give you a good 45GB more space than these do, which in my situation was crucial, and they do not get HOT Seriously the Samsungs get warm at best after transfering 119GB over a 2 hour period. Take my advice and pay the little extra for the samsung drives.
domul38 –
Delivery quick. Very easy to plug in and do the job required PVR. No problems at all. The size means it records over many programs.
Bcfpa –
Works perfectly. The question for me is for how long I have had two of these lock up with no recourse to fix or replace beyond the warranty period but not by much. I like it enough to give it one more try.
Brandon H. –
I found no real problems with this drive. I purchased the SanDisk 64GB Ultra Fit CZ43 USB 3.0 Flash Drive to use with my wifes 2015 Kia Sedonas USB port to play music. After transferring several GB of music to the drive, I moved the drive to my wifes van. The drive has been playing without error for several weeks and navigating the drive has no delay. The drive has also had no issues with the Arizona heat thus far.
mikencouk –
This tiny flash drive is perfect for adding hundreds of tracks and albums to, then plugging into my car stereo and leaving it connected. The previous flash drive I was using stuck out and I was continually hitting it with the gear lever every time I went tinto third This tiny Sandisk flash drive is smaller than its own plug, and is in fact so small, its barely noticeable when left attached to the stereo all the time and simply looks like a button on the facia.

I have six now. Use them in my little DVR for recording OTA broadcasts. Ive tried other brands, but they lag on playback…or do that digital squares of interference here and there. The Sandisk 32GB Cruzer always works perfectly, even on my one CBS hd channel.

Sandisk, fast 64GB ultra compact USB3 flash drive,,, at a heavily reduced price. Great buy Hard to comment on reliability at this stage but my experience with original Sandisk media has been VG. Quality of construction also VG,

These flash drives work well. Theyre reasonably fast and are very compact. My only dislike of them is that they get quite hot when theyre being used. Ive not used them enough to tell if this is going to be a problem over time.

Flash drives, unlike hard drives, are more durable primarily because they have no moveable parts like their big brothers. The combination of portability, durability, speed of data access, and the builtin drag and drop plus standard Graphic User Interface GUI file savingtransferring technology of this paticular flash drive make it the best option to transport and protect important information and program code. This stateoftheart top of the line SanDisk, with its incredibly large 128 GB storage specs and its phenomonal USB 3.0 super fast speed, leaves all competition in the dust. The bright red landyard together wih its imicro storage shell purchase included is a nice additonal touch to guard against loss andor misplacement of this small micro drive which fiis snubnose design fits virtually flush with the PC frame. Once upon a time, I accidently brumped a larger flash drive with my knee resulting in the tragic expense of having to replace he damaged USB socket which far exceeded the cost of the flash drive. I own five 5 computers made by differenent manufacturers and this flash drives functions perfectly with them all and it is perfectly compatable with the Microsoft Windows 10 Operating System. P.S. When Irans computer controlled nuclear proliferation program was sabotaged in the recent past. the hitech power of the micro flash drive proved instrumental in defusing the largest weapon of mass destructon ever created

The SanDisk Ultra Fit flash drive is a great external storage option Small, sleek, and extremely fast Great for backups, movies, photos, and documents. Ive installed them on all of my videogaming systems, and they perform like a champ Add to that a great price, and you have a deal that cant be beat

Based on feedback provided by others here, I was aware that this drive ran HOT. I did not realize or know how HOT, but was prepared ahead of time to buy, try, and throw away if dissatisfied with this product. As mentioned above… It found its way in my trash bin. Along with this micro drive, I also bought a similar USB3.0 micro thumb drive different brand… a little more expensive but never even got warm. I am sticking with the slightly more expensive ones in the future. Lesson learned.

Ive got a laptop from work with an 120Gb SSD, which is nice and fast and ok for basic work tasks but for storage …… Forget it. This little USB is unobtrusive and being USB3 fast access. It has added 50 extra storage space to my laptop and made storage worries a thing of the past.

Overall Im happy with the product. It can be a bit tricky to unsheathe sometimes but since I dont use it constantly thats alright. If I was going to be using it a lot then I might look for a slightly different product.

I got this to replace an even smaller by a few mm PNY brand 32GB drive I purchased about a year ago at Best Buy. My Macbook Air only has 256GB storage so I keep a flash drive plugged in to act as secondary storage. I will be waiting for this product to be on sale again and buy another 1 and see about RAID configuration to tread them both as a second 256GB drive. Its a remarkably cheap way to double the storage of my Macbook Air without any noticeable different in its sizeweight. 5 egg rating is based upon physical size, storage capacity and purchase price. Exactly what I wanted so how can I fault it

This tiny little thing is amazing Due to its compact size, the Sandisk Cruzer Ultra Fit is perfect for 2in1 laptops and can be used as a backup storage, on top of the cloud storage. Plug it in, and forget about it It also takes away the worries of accidental breakage during transport or storage. I love that it has 128GB capacity with a 130MBsecond transfer rate Perfect for photos, music, and yes, documents. The price also is perfect at 29 35 with free shipping some require payment for shipping. Overall, great product for anyone looking for a reliable USB storage to hold and transfer files

I bought three of these, just to add up my usbstick collection. Although the product tends to get quite hot while in use, it has a excellent performance level. The stick really is tiny, and therefore also tend to start conversation every time someone notices you using it. I absolutely recommend these for daily use.

Good that its small and huge capacity but when received, the description makes it clear the speed is in the reading of data. Moving data on to it is normal.

Advertised as 150MBsec but only writes at 20MBsec reads at about 125MBsec for the record. If you write continuously for more than 10 minutes it gets so hot you cant touch it, and then the firmware resets When this happens the logs show it as having been unplugged then 100 milliseconds later being plugged in again. This means you cant copy any large files onto the device because doing so takes so long that it overheats, resets, then the copy operation fails because you unplugged the device before the copy operation finished. Really poor effort on the part of SanDisk, advertising it as 150MBsec when it can barely write at 20MBsec, and being a waste at 128GB when its not actually possible to copy files onto it larger than 12GB each. Not to mention the need to carry an oven mitt with you so you dont burn your fingers when unplugging it if you have copied too many files onto it If youre not worried about write speeds and youll only be writing small files here and there then the size is no doubt convenient, but for any serious use, look elsewhere.

This usb is fastnot quite as fast as usb3.0 hdd but does have an overheating problem. It starts to heat up as soon as it enters the computer and when it gets too hot it slows down. It seems to slow down after 510gb is written to it all in one go. best to remove and let it cool downblow on it when this happens then reinsert. Reading from it seems to be less of an issue. Aside from the occasional slow down it is a great usb. It is recognized by my android phone and the size is great for storing anything as its very compact and reliable.

Owned the old normal Sandisk Fit 16GB and it was great. Decided to buy Ultra Fit 64GB for extra capacity and speed. And I love it. Only thing worth mentioning is that my car has problems with it, as it always restarts songs from first track on each car startup instead of where I left of last time. No such issues with old Sandisk Fit models, even in same capacity. I now use Ultra Fit 64GB for usual data and normal old Fit 64GB for my car.

Been using these Sandisk memory sticks for the last year or so. Have bought about 20 of them now, all still working with no issues. Best part about these is the size. They are tiny They are about the size of a fingernail I dont know how they fit 64GB on them

Excellent for HP printer scans to USB. Recommend putting on a lanyard.

I have bought several of these in 16, 32, and 64 GB. These are the fastest drives i have used. My 32 GB failed after only one week of use. Please note that these drives get very hot, to hot I think. Sandisk claims they are within specifications. I do not know if the heat problems led to the the failure or not. I would not use these in any device which the drive is plugged in all the time, such as a car, or boom box USB port. Because as stated they get very, very hot.
Sidharth C. –
Good for people who do a write once read many. It takes 160 minutes to fill up the drive using small files so I wouldnt want to do this too often. This drive actually has 61.5 Gb and not 64 Gb not sure where the 2.5 Gb went to.

I used to have a 3.0 32GB USB before and it used to work perfectly fine in my car but recently i lost it and bought this one. I put my music in it, put it in my car and it didnt work so frustrated Sometimes it will play one song and then get stuck its not my stereo because everything else works fine on it. Im regretting buying this for 15

SanDisk is clearly playing with numbers. Why cant they be honest in their marketing If they can say 130MBs, why cant they just be honest and say up to 24 MBs or whatever the number is If I new writes speeds were only going to be a dismal 24 MBs, I would not have purchased. Says right on the package…Transfer a fulllength movie in less than 40 seconds. Note, no,mention of size of movie or say transfer to or transfer from.. Once again, this is simply playing with numbers. I cant give more than 1 egg to misleadingdeceptive marketing.

These do get rather warm. At its warmest during a sustained transfer of a large file, this did not get warm enough to worry about shortening its useful life. actual size 15,374,951,424 bytes 15.37 Gigabytes or 14.32 Gibibytes

This is one of the fastest mini USB drives out there. It it also works well on my key ring. Very light weight, and the cap design keeps the dust out. This is the only usb drive with a cap that i have bought in years. I noramlly detest them, but on this drive it seem to be the right thing. I have bought half a dozen of these drives and will most likley buy more in the future.

Tremendous drive for extra storage on small SSD PCs. Just plug it in and go. Very high transfer speeds. Extremely reliable. I would high recommend this to anyone.

Ive been using this USB stick for a few months now. They are fast They are cheap They are small They are worth the money. Downside, After transfering e.g. a movie to the stick, the metal becomes very very hot like 5060 degrees celcius. Note, that my computersTV all dont really care about that temperature. By my fingers do, when I pull out the stick The plastic on the top however, remains a normal temperature.

Fantastic little flash drive to use with my smartphone.Moved everything like documents etc to the drive to keep my phone clean and working fast
eastoshosorkg –
I wanted a high volume fast stick for use where the length of some products would have made it likely that they would be caught and at best pulled out and at worst, damaged. This is perfect, it looks like its part of the original equipment and is no danger of being snagged.
jpazeredo –
Im actually using this as a boot drive for Windows 10, and its blazing fast. It delivers 70MBs read and 40MBs write, even with nonsequential files which are traditional HDDs achilles heel. It does get absurdly hot, but so far it seems designed to withstand the heat. I just hope its not slowly degrading the devices lifespan.
Handsome prince 29 –
First of all honestly it get very hot in USB 3.0 port but this thing work flawlessly. . . after sometimes the hot problem is solved. . . at this point of generation you cant complain on speed is 130 and not 260 cause you barely see and computer support all this speed. . . so this was really a very good bang for the buks you spend. . .

Great storage unit. Fast and reliable. Although easy to lose because of the size. There should be a keyring attachment option IMO but thats a minor flaw. I have many of these now and they are fantastic.
Little Old Welsh Lady –
Incredible how can something so small hold so much Brilliant to backup all your photographs and videos then store them in a safe. You can hold a million pictures in the palm of your hand. Also, they dont stick out from your laptop and wont get caught if you carry it around. Unbelievable Fantastic price too
Acerola –
Great design on this as I used it for a project where I did not want something huge sticking out. I have to say I did purchase this at 27.99 and that was a great price point. Sandisk is a great brand name and usually stick to them for quality. I will say under large file transfers this did get a little warm but did not effect performance.
Anonymous –
This was not a high workload condition. Fits that I bought previously have been warm but not like this. Sandisk has failed in the QC department. The DOA Fit has one of the wires lose from the board and touching the case. How could it pass QC VERY sad. I will look for another manufacture.
Gabriel N. –
I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good value on a midsized data storage device. I personally prefer that it is so small and not a sticktype flash drive, because I use it on my laptop mostly, and dont have to remove it often. It can get lost easily though, so I take a little extra care when it is being moved from one device to another. I would buy again, but I think Id rather get a larger size.
Karol P –
This pen drive is quite fast I measured up to 40 MBs write and 80 MBs read speed, nice and build very well.I use it for my Yamaha MCR755 BluRay player and it looks very good almost invisible when plugged in.Of course, it works perfectly under both Windows and Linux. I can recommend this pen drive for everybody who looks for quite fast but not extremely fast, cheap pen drive with very small case. Well done SanDisk
storm972015 –
Great value for the price, great for devices such as head units for cars to store music on them and keeps it neat without having a large USB poking out. fast transfer via 3.0 USB port. Small and rugged unit but make sure its tied to a lanyard as they can be misplaced very easily due to their size.
asu3932 –
It is a great device, fast and small. However it gets too hot when it is in use for more than 10 min. My last one ended up melting the black plastic part and it eventually braked I thought it was that particular unit was faulty and bought another one. Once again black part is half burned but it is still not broken yet. So it is a great product as far as electronics concern but so what i cannot keep replacing it because it has a broken black part. Very Dissapointed
mohsen804 –
The most unique aspect of this USB flash drive is its size, which makes it ideal for my application. It is used for storing mp3 music files for playing on a car builtin player. When plugged in the cars USB port, it is almost invisible compared to the larger drives that protrude out of the dashboard.
raymc1943 –
Excellent design, very compact, although I found it a little difficult to attach it to anything as it doesnt come with any form of ring or clip. It was a bit difficult to find a way, although I did solve it with cotton thread in the end. It is very small and would be easy to lose if you didnt attach it to your keyring or whatever.
fivish –
Its made of plastic which in use gets VERY hot and eventually it gets brittle, cracks and bits fall off. This has happed to mine. Admittedly, its a fast drive but there are fast drives that dont get this hot.

Works great. Convenient laptop backup, no more unplugging and storing memory sticks
38wagpy –
Bought this to plug in to my USB port in the car. It is fast to load music from a PC and is so small in height it reduces the danger of damage as the USB port is in the car center console. A full normal height USB stick is too big. this is so small it is perfect. No danger of getting knocked or damaged. Perfect
Sooze17 –
Purchased the flash drive to transfer music files to so I could use it in the car. So far I have transferred 24 CDs and the drive is still less than 25 used. No more CDs rattling round the car, no more ejecting and changing CDs. I love it
Average PC user –
The drive itself is very fast if used in a USB 3 port. It does get very hot if used to copy a large number of files. Early days yet if this is going to shorten its life. It does have a long warranty so keep ping the receipt just in case. Was cheaper than well known computer supermarket chain and used boosted vouchers to make drive even better valueTemperature concern prevented rating of 5 stars

I bought this product since my last USBstick was too slow. I was looking for speed and I price. This device is USB3.0 compatible but unfortunatly it not reach those high speeds. 25MBs read and 15 MBs write This is not bad at all but, nothing near what stated in devices advertisement. THE REAL PROBLEM is overheating, this small device gets so hot after copying a movie into it, so I can remove it. I have to wait for a few seconds to cool off before I can do something with it. Not happy with the device. next time I will buy full size usb disk to avoid overheating.

Had for about a month. It replaced a 16GB drive that I carried with Misc info from work to home. Copied all data to this and thought it was great. Small and lots of space. It ran a bit hot, and whenever I removed it I noticed how warm the drive was. Didnt give it much thought. For a month. Then out of the blue, it popped up with error message saying this drive needs to be formatted. Tried on 3 different computers several days apart. Same message. OK if I format then I lose all data. What about the files I added on since I transferred over to the new drive. I didnt even have a change to do the normal monthly backup. Guess I should do it weekly now Still have the old drive so not a total loss. But a month of work is about to go out the window unless the data recovery I happened to buy with it can save the new files. So if you buy this one you take your chances.
mattiu75 –
The pen is actually very small, almost unnoticeable when plugged in, well manufactured with good quality materials and precise coupling. It is worth to mention that the item is running really hot, almost to the point not to be handled with fingers without discomfort or even real trouble with the more heatsensitive ones. Not a major problem for me, I just hope it will not affect the product reliability.
smilingeddie –
Its certainly fast when compared to older USB flash drives but dont expect big surprises. If youre looking to boost the storage of a laptop, such as the Microsoft Surface Book, these work very well and theyre a fraction of the cost of builtin. Theyre thumbnail size, so they almost hidden when installed. But if youre taking them out to move between machines or as backup media, a brightcoloured lanyard is a must theyre very easy to loose in that situation. Theyre also very light mostly all plastic.
saber3119 –
Found to be very slow readwrite speeds after a few seconds of transferring larger files. Transfer would start at around 100MBs but would quickly drop to around 15MBs. Also found that some devices would hang while reading from this device.
deaharri86 –
These ultra fit usb 3.0 flash drives have been claimed to get excessively HOT, however as an electronic technician for 35 years, I can say Yes they do get hot in the range that I would expect them too, however mine did not get excessively hot while writing to it at 45 MBs a second for over 15 minutes as I saved an 6 MHz wide RF file through A SDR software defined radio program. I am conservative and will take steps to prevent damage or injury, therefore I had ordered a 90 degrees USB 3.0 adapter to use in conjunction with my laptop as a cheap fix in the case that if someday The heat does become a concern, I am covered. I do not have any heat concerns where this ultra fit is use for USB2 or in a home computer tower .

This seems to be a pretty fast product. I ran a test app on it and it scored well above most of the flash drives that Ive had. It also Allows me to put my laptop into the case without pulling the thing out of there. This would be excellent for additional Semi permanent storage for an air book or something like that.

i ordered this item only yesterday and received it today. A review stated that a lanyard is included however i looking at this packaging i cannot see any lanyard and do not want to open the packaging without confirmation. A great high capacity small USB drive though dont expect super fast if you use USB2 or even USB3, 3.1 or even 3.2. Any USB device can only achieve the stated speeds on Thunderbolt connections which are few far between.

Compared to the other USBC products I have, this would have to be one of the worst I tried to give SanDisk products a second try but it is almost impossible to remove this from my computers USBC port without causing damage.

I got this so I could dual boot my laptop between the installed Windows and kali for pentesting. Id been using usb2 Kingston datatravelers previously and they were a bit slow in practice. This however seems to run fine…and Ive actually installed kalI to this device live boot from another USB stick initially and install linux onto this one..runs very nicely. the only issue Ive had is that its so small its easy to lose…theres a teeny hole where you can just fit a bit of thin string through so it lives tied to the laptops power cable. In that respect its not as neat as the datatravelers which can fit on a keyring pretty but it works and its fast and thats more important to me.

Having purchased a few smaller drives from Sandisk, I new they could be trusted to deliver a competant product. This small thumb like drive has matched up to expectations in that it packs a load of storage into a small space great for travelling on my holiday. Knowing you may want more information in a review that is normally given I have even tested its read and write speed for you, although I must mention a caveat here, this was tested in my system which is 64bit, i5 at 3.1Ghz, 6GB ram, a 5.1 on the performance acore for my system based on lowest graphics card element. Understanding the former and that it has a third party USB 3 card fitted in which I tested the 64GB SanDisk drive you should remember your own system may be different, the figure I tested was for a Write speed of 44 MBSec and a Read speed of 125 MBSec and so is approaching the rated sales specification which I guess would be achieved if you have the correct hardware. All in all a great little performer, handy to travel with and you could even leave it in your USB slot if you liked with less chance of it being knocked than other longer type USB drives.

Works cleanly on Windows 7, 8.1 10 OS. Does not seem to like Windows XP, nor does it play well using the USB input on my 3 year old Panasonic Bluray player. The same file plays OK using a USB 2.0 flashdrive. The Ultrafit 32gb works well on my WDTV Live Media Player through to the TV.

I think my USB 3.0 bus might be slower than most, hence the lower than advertised speeds on my desktop but this is still a very fast drive. Its amazing because the drive is so small I would take a hit on speed as a tradeoff for smaller size any day. The smaller drive makes me want to use them more I have several. Im tranferring audio CDs to play in a vehicle. Im surprised and disappointed how flimsy and insubstantial the plastic is in this, it feels like the gauge of plastic used for school reports. This flimsy plastic is used for the part that plugs into the USB A port, and doesnt seem like it will last long. Seems like the makers intended this to be a plugitinandkeepitin device, but Im unplugging it regularly to transfer data onto it. I can hope it lasts, but I suspect it wont.

Great little USB. Very quick and amazing capacity for the size. Doesnt sit entirely flush with the machine, but its pretty close. Only reason for not giving 5 is that it gets quite hot. It doesnt seem to have caused any issues but its something to remember when ejecting the device.

Very small usb drive. Tested and was getting 142Mbs read and 92 write, very impressive for the small size.Tends to get very warm with some windows desktops. Havent noticed getting as hot with Macs but I imagine it will always run warm when it has so little surface area to dissipate the heat.
MARTIN C. –
Love the fact that its so compact that you can leave it inserted as an extra or ReadyBoost drive and it will not get in the way though for ReadyBoost Windows will not address more than 4GB, I believe. Might be a little difficult to remove on some laptops depending on the USB port location and the chassis design, but its a nice little drive with ample capacity for a great price. Data transfer is very fast so this little thing is simply awesome
lmburden –
I prefer the older model, like these, because I believe these are more sturdy than the newer model that is all plastic bodied. Probably OK, but its just my stubborn preference.
hthutkrwfrm –
The first thing I noticed is that the capacity according to Windows is only about 30,7 billion bytes, which by all definitions of GB I know is far less than 32 GB. The device is very fast when used on a USB 3.0 port. You should be careful taking the USB drive out of your computer, because the device becomes extremely hot, if many bytes are transferred. This is the reason I cannot give 5 stars.

Bought this to use as a USB style boot drive to essentially learn a bit more about Linux. Using my HP Elitebook i5 8570p laptop, I removed the HDD connection, then booted Linux from DVD, installling Linux Mint 18.0 onto this Sandisk 64gb USB 3 microstick. Now bear in mind that my Elitebook has Windows 10 on a Crucial SSD, and Ive set it up as per normal to use the quick shutdown start up option in Win 10, so its definitely no slouch on Win 10 boot up times. Guess what, Linux Mint 18.0 as installed on this USB 3 stick, boots quicker than Win 10 off the dedicated SSD in my laptop Naturally its stuck in a proper USB 3 socket, not a USB 2 one, but even so this is seriously impressive for an operating system loaded on a USB stick. Ive bought some more of these for my kids to use as Linux Mint boot sticks, they always seem to be screwing up Windows 10 what with the bit torrent slightly shady stuff they download. Now theyve got a get out of jail free operating system, from which can rescue their files, before they have to reset Windows 10 yet again to get it back up and running.

I couldnt fine the 128gb flash drive I had purchased used last year, it was a different brand. So, after reading reviews for different brands, I decided to give this drive a try even though several people said it gets hot. They are correct, it does get hot as it is downloading but then cools off. Im not a techie but it also seemed to take quite a while. I downloaded 60gb of pictures and documents. Of course, after I had used this SanDisk, I found my original flash drive. I decided to download the same 60gb to this drive, also. This different brand did not get even warm and it took a fraction of the time, even though it is a 3.0 speed.

This portable flash drive is very small but large in ability to store lot of information. It is super fast and reliable. I have used it various times without any trouble at all. Although I have U.S.B. 2 this U.S.B. 3 stick seems to give much faster downloading than my other ScanDisk memory sticks, so far no errors have come up copying films to it. As this item is very small suggest you do not put it in any cloths pockets. Warning, it is warm to the touch when working but does not effect its performance.

THE GOOD I bought my first one about 8months ago, still running fine with nearly daily use. Speed of transfer for USB 3.0 seems decent and have had no problems transferring large files, a few days ago I transferred about 90gigs of movies for a friend without a problem. As for time it took, I set it up and then do something else so I cant provide that info. It is very compact and good for laptops. The cover is tight and hasnt fallen off. It comes with free software. THE BAD It gets quite hot not a downside, just notable, it is very small and easy to misplace. There is no place to attach a lanyard or keyring. VERDICT Worth it. I have 3 now, great for the price.

I purchased this to boost the limited capacity of my Surface Pro 3. Is is super fast and I run games directly from it as it is more reliable for the demands of gaming than my micro sd card which would drop out occasionally. I also like its small profile. It is unobtrusive when sticking out the side of the Surface Pro.

I bought this for a netbook laptop, to expand the capacity of the internal drive. So basically, the usb drive stays in the netbook USB port all the time, only comes out when I neet to replace some of the stuff I have on it. Being a netbook, I take the laptop with me everywhere in the bag, out of the bag, on the desk, on the train, etc.So the low profile and high capacity were absolutely essential. To this end, the memory stick is exceptional. I have used it every day over the last month and it has never caught on anything, and I dont think it ever will. Its perfect for this use. Its blizzard fast, being USB 3.0, and I have the benefit of writing to it via USB 3.0, wo it copies large files and many small files in no time. There is a catch though. It gets hot. Yes, hot when you write to it, and warmishhot when you read from it. It has never bothered me, even after writing 50GB to it and when it got the hottest, or when reading from it, every day when its only noticeably warmer than the surrounding netbook case. It doesnt make me think that it will cause any damage, or reduce its life span because of it, but I just thought Id mention it. This is why Im giving it 4 instead of 5. This new generation miniturised technology needs to work on remaining cool. Probably its impossible, but its something to aim for.Otherwise, the memory stick is impeccable. So far, no problems, and I am enthralled with what a good purchase Ive made. Perfectly fits my needs.Try to find it at a good price for it though. It seems like retailers like to add 910 pounds to it in a blink of an eye. Thats about a 75 markup over the regular street price. Beware

This was a good value for a brand name product with its capacity 16 GB and speed USB 3.1. The drawback it is too small It is hard to find in my container of assorted parts I attached a large paper clip, far from an ideal solution. If your USB port area is crowded, it may be hard to insert and remove. I prefer SanDisks Cruzer form factor.

The good news about the ultra fit thumb drive are that it has a large capacity and it doesnt stick out from the USB port. I have a previous model of the same USB flash and it got very hot in use, this version runs much cooler. The only word of caution I have is it is very tiny and could easily be lost or misplaced.

This flash drive works well enough and is large capacity but is so small that its rather fiddly to use and can easily get lost. Unfortunately theres nothing to hold the cover on after removal from the original packaging, so a small rubber band is being used for that purpose.

Cant believe how tiny this is for a capacity of 128GB Works really fast on USB3.0 and is ideal for storing photos and music on it. All this and a great price to boot What more could I ask for

This device seems to work well and is moderately fast … however it does get surprisingly hot after even moderate use with modest downloads. I have not noticed this increase in temperature with other brands and wonder if the heat generated in this small device will eventually shorten the life of the electronics Otherwise it is good comparable value and so far still working.

I bought this to load my music collection onto, to listen to through the car USB. I wanted something as small as possible to reduce the risk of knocking it whilst in the port.I read reviews of these getting very hot and did find that it got a bit warm when transferring 30GB of music. However it doesnt seem to get very warm when just playing music in the car which suits me fine.Overall a great bit of kit highly recommended

My IT adviser had beenpestering me for ages to get a device to back up my computer, but I did not want some horrible bulky object spoiling the look of my lovely little MacBook Pro laptop. This is so neat and unobtrusive, hard to believe it can be storing up all the verbiage I create. I hope it is working OK, hard to know till I have a problem, but I am no longer getting frequent messages saying that there has been no backup for x hundred days, so, obviously, something is happening

On the heat issue some have complained about The reason its getting so hot for some of you is because youre plugging it in to a USB charging port This port delivers 1.5 amps of power to whatever device its connected to. 1.5a is what you need to charge an iPad, not power a tiny USB drive. I tested my theory by first plugging it in to my USB charge port on my laptop for 30 minutes and can confirm the drive was hot to the touch. Then I plugged it in to a nonUSB charging port for 30 minutes and it was barely warm. So, if youre experiencing or worried about the heat issue, dont be. Just dont plug the drive into a USB charging port

First thing i did when i pluged in was formatted the drive. Next i switch to NTFS. Wow it was fast. 3 seconds I think. Im using for extra ram. What a different on my toshiba with Windows 10 pro. Very very fast. For 30 bucks, you cant go wrong.

If you are needing some storage that isnt hanging out of you device waiting to be knocked out then this compact range is for you. If you want fast reading speeds this definitely is for you. However writing speeds were much lower. Not much more than 30mbsec under ideal conditions and usually slower. So if your not in a hurry to write data youll be happy

Great product Just what I needed for my new Apple 16 MacBook Pro. Do not have to use any special adaptore to fit multiple flash drives to my computer.

I use this device to store my music as a backup. I have used a USB 2.0 Memory stick which takes 15 hours to backup. The USB 3.0 Sandisk 32GB Memory stick takes only 14 minutes to backup my music. I am very impressed.

Weve loaded it up with music, plugged it into the cars USB port, and now we can easily listen to everything we love. Because of its small size it doesnt stick out and is basically flush with the amp. Perfect for what we wanted it for.

I have a USB 2.0 version of this Sandisk Cruzer Fit, and I thought by now after couple years the overheating issues would have been resolved. I was wrong. When writing 8GB of MP3 files, Im seeing about 11 MBs with power usage of 0.87W 0.17A current. The USB 2.0 version uses 0.36W 0.06A when writing the same files. The difference in generated heat is huge. The Sandisk Fit USB 3.0 gets hot enough to burn your skin. Its so hot that I cant touch the metal part for more than a second. I actually had to use a piece of cloth to pull it out of my USB port. When idle, its still using 0.62W of power 0.12A. The USB 2.0 version uses 0.15W of power 0.03A. Besides the overheating issue, as a bonus, my USB 3.0 Fit had a bad finishing on the metal part of the USB port lip, it would scrape my USB ports blue plastic. I had to file it a little bit. It gets really hot while used so I tend to unplug it after an hour cuz Im not sure if it would melt. Mite we worthwhile buying the alternative longer versions who knows. Otherwise, its pretty fast. Would I buy that size again, mmmm, maybe not.

Pros Very small great on a key ring. Good performance.Cons Needs something so it would fit a keyring. Usb connector needs a better cover.

I purchased the 32GB San Disk Ultra Fit flash drive. This item is extremely compact. It is USB 3.0 capable so data transfer is much faster. The Ultra Fit also comes with San Disk AES encryption which allows you to password protect information on the drive. I found this feature extremely useful. The drive also comes with a small cover to protect the usb portion of the drive which is the majority of the drive. The drive is so small that it barely sticks out the side of my laptop once it is inserted into the USB port. The 32GB is an impressing storage size for such as small device. I purchased mine for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend this flash drive to anyone who is looking for a small, discreet, fast and confidential USB storage device.

These mini flash drives were the best Sandisk made and sadly becoming harder to find. Full metal casing ensures long life and no cracking like the cheap plastic successor Sandisk really screwed up on that one I recommend to anyone to grab this flash drive series before they become extinct.

I have 3 of these and they all run the same speed and have been reliable, except for getting too hot when being used in a USB 3.0 slot, or any to no use in a front USB 2.0 slot. Motherboard Over 3 12 year old Gigabyte Z77XD3H motherboard. I built the system in May 2012. Great case cooling, HAF 922 with three 200mm fans, one 120mm fan plus the 140mm fan on the PSU set to run continuously Seasonic Platinum Series.

The ultra fit flash drive is excellent for loading music and plugging into the vehicle USB port. Little chance of getting snagged or broken and you can just leave it there. 16GB is more than enough for most music libraries have 14 albums on it now and only 3 GB.

Awesome fast and small enough to carry in your pocket without being annoying. The encryption program is secure and easy to set up and use. It does heat up quickly but I havent had a problem with damaged or lost files. Its as good as advertised and more. And the Price is great. Another sturdy product from SanDisk.

in the end, its better to get a USB external SATA case fro your old 2.5 inch SSD, so much faster. but these work for installing windows or small files, or writing once and forgetting. not for everyday large file copies…

Seems fast in one direction but not so much in the other. I guess its fast. Good value for what we paid. Have no idea at this point if its reliable or not though Im sure it will be. Sandisk makes great products overall. However. This thing is sooo small I can barely hold on to it. I wont buy any more of this model for this reason. Ridiculously small. Came with a huge lanyard relative to its size which seems almost a necessity for keeping track of the little thing. In summary its a great product just too small for me..

I got the flash drive few days ago, and made test of its speed and capacity. Im using Linux Mint system, so here you can use f3write f3read program. So, my results on USB3.0 f3write Average writing speed 21.28 MBs f3read Data OK 57.82 GB 121247840 sectors Data LOST 0.00 Byte 0 sectors Corrupted 0.00 Byte 0 sectors Slightly changed 0.00 Byte 0 sectors Overwritten 0.00 Byte 0 sectors Average reading speed 73.91 MBs p.s. I found free code for SanDisk Extrime Pro 1year subscription inside the blister between 2 paper layers.

This is the first USB nano flash Ive used and it took about four minutes to copy my 17GB recovery drive for Windows 8.1 from my new MSI GS70 2QE607 gaming computer. Thats faaassst as always. I use ONLY 32GB Sandisk compact flash in my Canon 5D Mark III. Simply the fastest and most reliable memory products available and at the best prices.

The Cruzer Ulta Fit overheats, far too hot to touch. This flash drive will certainly either damage my USB port or fail imminently. Unusable. Had I read the reviews on other sites about this particular model, i would have avoided. This is a known problem of this model of sandisk. However, it was cheap and I purchased without any due diligence. Regret.

Works and boots up every time, I use it for videos. So slots into my TV and laptop always recognised no problems so far. Very compact so very unlikely to get dinged when sticking out of the laptop. Down side is, hard to find in my laptop bag.

Very good speeds and storage space especially for its physical size The metal part gets very hot after use though. It does not seem to affect the performance is delivers but I still feel that it needs to be mentioned. Overall a very good and reliable usb.

I wanted to save about 25GB of music and first bought a cheap unit kept erasing itself each time I was 80 done. Bought this one for the brand name and WOW, what a difference. Stable transfer, lightning fast. Very happy with purchase.
