Easy to install and the amount of games I can put on this is insane. I will probably never completely use up all the memory allotted on this little card. Just popped it in and it was good to go in less than 30 seconds. Got it on sale during Black Friday, which sweetened the deal. Love that its Animal Crossing themed as well.
JustJo –
Gives me PLENTY of room. Ive downloaded 6 games and still have tons of room left on my card. Im not sure if I would have filled up the console itself with the 6 games but it would have been close. This way I dont have to choose games or keep track of little cards when Im traveling. Dropping a game cartridge at 30000 feet can mean you never find it in a cramped plane. So this and downloads work great
Yuman –
Purchased as a Christmas present for our nephew. This flash card was easy to install and setup. Seems to have improved the overall operation of his Nintendo Switch. He is very happy with the results and says playing with his Nintendo Switch a lot more fun. Having not seen him playing with the Nintendo Switch before the flash card I dont have a basis to say how much better it is, hut he seems to be pleased.
Mesane –
THe summary saids it all. This card is great if you can get it for a decent price. What makes this expensive is the nintendo collaboration, which is great specially the 64GB zelda design, too bad thats on the 64GB. However you have to remember that you will not be seeing that image, its going to be inside the switch. With that being said, i would just get a regular SanDisk 128GB, which will cost much less than this, unless this is on sale. Then by all means get it Thats what i did, for some reason when i purchased mine, it was cheaper than the regular 128GB one, so i grabbed this one.
Faye –
Does what ot says on the tin, no corrupted files works perfectly as its made for a switch. The only thing i always regret about getting a switch though are the ridiculous prices nintendo charge for anything with their names on this is no exception. My boyfriend literally bought a 250gb micro sd for the same price amd i got my 64gb sd for so sometimes i definitely feel ripped off
David –
Works perfectly for the Switch and has a cool design to boot. It can be used for anything that uses a MicroSD card. I got one for free during a promotion for a Nintendo Online family membership. I already had a MicroSD for my Switch, so I was able to use it for a GoPro. Write speeds are decent.
Anonymous –
SD cards for the switch are usually more expensive. Especially when its 64gb and above. However this SD card was cheaper than other ones and was officially approved by Nintendo. I wanted to look for an official Nintendo SD card as I know the switch can be sensitive with 3rd party hardware and software. This card was cheaper than I though with a lovely design inspired by legend of zelda and installs really easily just under the kickstand of the normal switch.

The Nintendo Switch, Mario Kart 8, 128 GB card arrived fast. It said 5 10 business days for the free shipping and the package arrived on day 5. The products were well packaged and I had it all hooked up in minutes. Nintendo is the King of Consoles when it comes to family fun. Adriana is a long time provider of Cameras and equipment for photography and I fully trust them. Keep up the solid work.
Ryan –
Do you need a Switch branded SD card for your Nintendo Switch No. Does it give warm fuzzies that if something doesnt work you can call Nintendo or Sandisk and get support Maybe. Is it a neat little design for an SD Card and does it work well with the switch Yes indeedFirst SD card that made me go out and buy a faster card reader after it took over an hour to migrate 64GB from old card to new.Would definitely recommend
Casual gamer –
Got this little to upgrade the storage on my switch, was able to transfer the games I had store very quickly using the switchs internal storage manager. Runs games from the memory card very quickly, no extra loading time or lag. Also love that its Nintendo branded. Your not going to see it obviously but its a nice little touch I appreciate.
DjPugz –
I bought this when I first bought my Nintendo Switch. I had no idea what memory card to buy and I figured that I should buy the original to avoid any issues. Now that I have switched to a bigger micro sd card that is not licensed by Nintendo, I have not noticed any difference at all. I would recommend buying another SanDisk Micro SDXC card instead unless this card is on sale.
MamoXMamo –
The 256GB option might be a bit much if the user or person you are getting this for is using mostly physical game disks instead of digital copies. This is a food compromise as it gives enough storage to download a few digital games and the rest of your collection be physical copies. It also has a cute mushroom logo on the disk storage as well
Mane –
This is essential for any Nintendo addict. Anyone who collects Nintendo needs this in their life. If you dont care to paya tad extra for the logo, that is. There is no difference besides that. The brand tax. Nintendo Switches need more memory. So do what you will. I got mine from Black Friday so I am happy with my free card. But you do you boo.

The product was great. However, I believe your pickup system is flawed. Instead of having random teens with bad uniforms pop up 20 minutes later is not efficient. You should have a designated pickup manager to great cars, then they can cue back employees to bring products. This will ensure proper check in. Then, your poorly uniformed employees can bring items to car in numbered spot. Creating a level of comfort and efficiency. Thanks

Ive anticipated buying the Nintendo switch forever but it never goes on sale. When you game a lot, you try to save however you can if you cant always afford every new shiny thing that comes out. This little card gets bundled free with purchase and I instantly jumped on it.I buy games, never sell and rarely delete if I can help it, so getting this card was an inevitable purchase. This will definitely last me a while since there are very few switch exclusives Ill get right away. And there isnt enough me to go thru that many games I have right now anyways.Hard to say how much this is worth wise, since I got this free and havent technically used it enough yet, but it definitely does the trick for the switch. Most Any gamers would want to keep onto the largest storage card they can get at a good price point. If you feel like you can get the GB use for your buck, Id go for it unless something bigger and compatible comes along.Ah and keep in mind, speed tests show that games installed on the switch tend to load faster than games installed on these cards, but these cards tend to load faster than the games cartridge counterpart. So good to check ahead of time when installing different kinds of games on various mediums as not all games followed this trend very drastically.
Devastator –
This is a quick and fast micro SD card at a great price. Caught it on sale and picked up the same day. Migration was as simple as formatting the new SD card and copying all the data over. I installed into the Switch and voila, all is good to go Definitely recommended
Ddogxxx –
My teenage son was overjoyed with this gift. He had run out of space on his Switch and needed the extra room. He had asked for a smaller capacity card but was thrilled that I got him the larger capacity of the 256 GB card.He has been using it from the go, and has been very pleased with the results.Would recommend this card to any Nintendo Switch user looking for more expansion room.
meli9856 –
If you have a lot of games on your switch, especially large games to use a lot of storage space, getting a micro usb for extra space is worth it. The design on this is very nice. Got this micro usb because it was on sale If it was not on sale, another scan disk with out the Nintendo design works just as well, but the design on this is a nice little Easter egg
hippo –
Got this on sale for a great price. Very pleased with this purchase because games on the switch are not 50gb like other consoles and PC so this is a nice purchase for those of you who are just starting out. Would recommend getting a couple or few of these versus one big fat terabyte since there can be some possible corruptions with sandisks but overall this is a nice pick for starters.
Buyer –
Very good 128 MicroSD card. No issues. Switched recognized it instantly. Most games will allow you to transfer somemost data to the SD card however a few games do not. It has dramatically cut down on data stored on the system memory, which is of course the idea. No complaints.
JR123 –
With only 7 MB of space left, I got the 128 GB on sale and was excited to finally download the games I bought but didnt have the room to play but unfortunately this Sandisk seems to be defective.I turned the Switch off, put in the chip, and it said that it needed to be formatted gives the option to do so right after, it then restarts the switch and the same formatting error pops up. I tried doing it through systems, taking out the chip, restarting the device and waiting for a while before trying again and the error still pops up.Looking around online, this error has happened to several people with this particular SD chip the problem can be remedied by getting a new one that wasnt apart of the faulty batch.I plan on exchanging mine since the price was so good but I recommend skipping out on this one and getting a different SD altogether to avoid the chances of getting a broken one.
Matg –
With the SanDisk name you know its quality right from the gate. But then you add Nintendo into the mix and you know you got something good. Everything loads in a timely fashion. No lag. Never had a problem or an error. But always keep a backup because things we have no control of happen and if ya wanna feel just a little safer, just keep two. The one in the Switch and one you can copy said one in the Switch onto every so often.
Bill –
Its nice to have a large size card for eShop games and saves. I dont like swapping cards, so the bigger the better I have no issues with storage space.SanDisk is the best brand out there, so its extremely reliable and great performance.I also appreciate the Mario Star and vibrant color A nice touch.Get it on sale or use some rewards points otherwise its a little too expensive.
Kangalou –
Bought this microSD as a gift for someones Nintendo Switch. They started using this item this last winter, 2020. No reported issues with this card, no data loss or corruption. The games that have been loaded onto this card work great when in use. No issues and a great purchase for anyone looking to expand their memory.
FWK2019 –
I got this for memory in the Nintendo Switch, because it only comes with something like 32gb of internal.Decided to purchase this during the big sales after Thanksgiving, because the price was right.Yes, I could have bought the regular SanDisk with the same features, but I like everything to match and be licensed for my own protection. Now keep in mind, Im not opposed to becoming all digital with gaming one day, but as for now, I am old school and prefer tangible games. This is good amount of memory for me, and quite frankly rather has extra then not enough.
BlackboxFan –
Ive owned this for a year and approaching two and I have little to no issues that could not be fixed by reinserting it or making sure their was no dust obstructing the slot. Its design lets you know instantly that it is compatible with the Nintendo switch. Its great and well worth it at a discount and will set you if you are mainly buy physical releases. If you mainly download via the Eshop this card will fill up quickly and you may need a backup or a larger storage microSDXC card.
zombot –
Okay, I know there is a cheaper, similar version of this product by the exact same manufacturer, except this is yellow and has the Nintendo Switch logo on it with the Starman. That said, I bought this specific item to differentiate it from other Micro SD cards I may have. I paid the extra money not just for the brand licensing, but for the fact that this is a teeny, expensive chip the size of a human thumbnail, and if I should ever drop it, the bright yellow color will make it easier for my aging eyes to see it… unless of course I drop it on a bright yellow floor. Before I got this, I ran out of native memory on my Switch and had to store many games mostly downloaded retro titles on the Cloud. But now I can store EVERY TITLE I OWN on this little yellow chip, and still have way more room to fill. Worth the 70
ChristineW –
I got this item for free when purchasing the Switch Online Family Membership. I missed out on a deal purchasing the membership elsewhere, so it seemed like an ok deal to get the free SD card instead.I already have a SD card in my Switch and it still has space available, so I opted to instead use this in the old cell phone my daughter uses to play games and watch movies. It is working fine in the old phone and she no longer gets errors about being low on storage.
Jonn –
I will say the price at first steered me away at first. However, I went with it anyway. I wanted to make sure it would be a long time before I have to think about replacing this little microSD. 60 to hold a bucket load of 60 games Sounds good to me.Definitely would recommend this to anyone wanting to maximize their Switch storage. Especially if they dont want to worry about replacing the card super often. Its a yes from me dog.
pikapika –
I bought this micro sd card together with my switch lite and after about 2 weeks of downloading games and playing, more than 23 of the storage on this card had already been filled I didnt even own that many large games at the time. So if you get a switch, you really should get this too as a start at least, I got the 400 GB one too later. The 32 GB space on the switch fills up really quickly.I have not noticed a difference between playing games stored on the switchs internal memory vs stored on this sd card I was really worried about possible lag.
BobbyT –
More than a fair price for a sandisk.I have never had any problems with their memory cards. They are very reliable and last. I think the nintendo versions of the disks are a little cheaper in cost than the normal sandisks which I think is unusual, considering its the same disk with different exterior graphics and colors.Never the less I highly recommend this brand.
Hywired –
You would probably think that this is a gimmick just for Nintendo and SanDisk getting together just to sell more micro SD cards, but after purchasing other brands of cards even buying SanDisk these SD cards for my Nintendo switch Ive always had problems with them. One certain micro SD card getting really really hot and almost melting the SD card slot of one of my switches. This specially made for the Nintendo switch is awesome. I bought one for each of our family members and weve never had a problem since.
Wayne630 –
I purchased the 512 GB SanDisk Nintendo MicroSDXC Card. I upgraded from a 200 GB Card that had 137 GB of Nintendo Switch Games on it. I used a Kingston USB 3 card reader. I got a solid 75 GB to 85 GB transfer rate both to and from my PC. The 137 GB took about 35 min to save the Nintendo folder to my PC and about the same to write to this 512 GB card. I put the card in the Switch and all the apps I tested worked fine.
jediJ –
Recently purchased this for my switch light, since alot of switch games are digital or have digital add ons. ive installed 4 avg sized games and sill have almost half my card space left. i got it on sale, if you can get the sale price its well worth it. if not, youd be better getting a standard scn disc micro they are the same, but without the logo.
Scifo –
The main difference from this and a cheaper SanDisk Ultra, is this card is a U3 and the Ultra is U1. The U3 allows for faster installs and may save a few seconds on load times. The only reason I choose this card at the time was that it was on sale for only 3 more. I also get the awesome design along with 4x the storage space. For those wondering why the free space on the card read 119, it is because of the way gigabytes are calculated. The package has 1gb equaling 1,000,000,000 bytes. Really 1gb is 1,073,741,824 bytes. That 73,741,824 bytes 73.7 megabytes missing per gigabyte. That really adds up.All SD card and USB stick manufacturers use this calculation method not just Sandisk
Judithkenosha –
I love this memory card for my switch. It has 128GB of memory which gives me so much space on my switch for games, photos, and videos. I can bow download as much as I want with very little concern if I have enough space. I highly recommend this for anyone needing more space for their switch. Also works great for cell phones by the way if you need a great memory card for your phone.
CasualReviewerPhotographr –
Great little SD card. Looks cool, although cant see it cause of it being always inside my Nintendo Switch.Stores a great amount of digital games and hundreds of game photo captures.Fast enough for my speed requirements of game saving and loading.
Eriust –
Had a 128 GB memory card for my Switch, but ended up using over half the space with still more games Im looking forward to so decided to grab this 256 GB because it was on sale and I knew Id need it eventually. Looks cute with the Nintendo logo and works exactly as advertised. Good investment if youre planning to play a lot of different Switch games all digital download.
camomof3 –
I purchased this as a companion piece to my sons Nintendo Switch. I am not tech savvy, so I kept going back and fourth on regular micro set cards and this one. After reading many reviews about issues with regular micro sd cards, I gave in and purchased this one. I would much rather pay more for an item that works than having to take a chance on another product. There have been no issues with this micro sd card. Games transfer seamlessly from device to card and new games install to the card without issue. At 256 go, there is plenty of room for games FYI, the Nintendo switch only held 4 games on the device itself, so as mentioned, this is a must have item.
Jurrell –
I felt like anything over 128 would be a bit overkill for me. But, then again Im the only person who uses this console not for family usage. This takes care of all my games, ingame videos, screenshots and streaming softwares.I currently have over 70gb of available space and more than enough games and general content to enjoy.
vikingm01 –
This card was used to upgrade a Nintendo Switch Lites Teal memory to support digital downloads. It was fast with retrieving games to play and has A LOT of space to download them. It was very easy to install and has caused me no trouble whatsoever I hope you have found this review helpful

Being a hoarder, or collector as I like to call it, I hate having to delete games to make space for new ones. With that said, this 256GB microSDXC Memory Card for Nintendo Switch by SanDisk is the way to go if youre anything like myself. The standard 32GB internal storage featured on the Switch just isnt enough if you plan to have a respectablesized digital library considering the consoles 2021 eShop lineup, this memory card will be worth every penny. With an easy installationjust behind the kickstandI was able to insert it, download all the titles Ive collected over the years in a short amount of time. An absolute musthave. Cheers
moviebuff82 –
I know people say this is just a regular SanDisk memory card with the Nintendo logo on it for a high sticker price. This was endorsed by Nintendo for a reason. It goes on sale so just wait if you dont want to spend. Quality is there definitely, easy to use and was recognized by my Switch right away. ReadWrite is fast, which is important for fastpaced games. No issues whatsoever, and that alone is worth the money.
DannyG –
Just put the memory card in which is specifically for the switch into 2 Nintendo Switch units and neither one will recognize the MicroSD card. Following thr instructions, I turned the switch off and inserted the card. Then turned on the switch. I only saw the Nintendo logo screen and waiting for 20 min it would not go past that screen. The other switch did recognize the card and tried to format the card, but later after restarting, it took me back to the same screen to format the drive stating the MicroSD card cannot be used. Honestly I would have thought using thr Nintendo brand sdxc SD card would prevent issues such as this.
Jason –
These memory cards worked seamlessly and flawlessly with both my childrens Nintendo Switch consoles. Do not use Nintendos data transfer utility if you will be replacing the card with this one. Instead, shut the unit down, remove the old card and put it in a computer. Navigate to the folder Nintendo. Copy that folder to your computer. It will take 510 minutes. Then eject the old card and insert the new one into the computer. Open that card and drag the Nintendo folder into the new card. Again it will take 510 minutes. When done, eject the new card, insert it into the Switch and power on. Thats it
Daria –
The SD card is really easy to insert works immediately. Not much to complain about. Thus far the only tricky part was removing the packaging but it was sealed really well. If I go on to replace this micro SD with a different one, I know I will have a handy little case for it until I find a way to repurpose it. It didnt take long for the package to arrive and knowing it was compatible with the Switch, I was confident I wasnt going to waste my money on something that wouldnt work with my console. Ive had it for about a week now and didnt encounter any issues. Very good.
Michael –
Used it in my switch. Saved game purchases and an entire playthrough of Golf RPG… dont ask… onto it. Was changing SD cards to play my hard copy game saves and it fell out onto my white fireplace. Unfortunately, it blended in and that day or the next, my puppy was curious enough to chew it up. Had I just had a larger SD card in the first place, Id probably not have needed to store such small and delicate micro SDs. Its a great product, but the reason it gets 4 stars is so yall see this, heed my warning and spend the extra 2030 or whatever to get a 128 GB SD. You can save obviously twice the content to it, and not have to worry about where to keep a tiny little piece of tech storing hours of The Witcher or Mario. Cheers

There are other great microSD cards out there that work about as well for way less money, but this ones charming, yellow, and has a Super Star on it. Havent had any issues since I installed it in my Switch. If you feel like spending a little extra just because of aesthetics, get this. Otherwise, you can do about the same for a little less if you put in some research.
Qboluisillo –
I bought this to store my digital game purchases and it works great. I have older digital versions of console games, and I have No issues with running out of storage. My Switch picked it up right away and didnt have to go through any setup process. Just pop it in and go Great price for 128GB
Anonymous –
My new Nintendo Switch microSD Card came WAY earlier than I anticipated and came in a nice package. Works on my Switch flawlessly. I was concerned when tracking my order wasnt really possible since after the label was created, nothing updated, but I would imagine that is a mere bug or the like. Despite that very tiny concern, I am very satisfied with my purchase and with my promo code too no less
HappyCustomer –
Product works as intended. My only complaint is that the packaging it was in was ridiculousit was encased in one of those demonic plasticsealed things. Hard for even scissors to slice through.Anyway, the disc is great though. Easy to pop into the switch, just restart the device, and its good to go.
Defhook –
Our kids received Nintendo switches for Christmas. We decided to buy the memory cards since a lot of the games can be downloaded from the nintendo store. These SD cars seem to be a little pricier than the average 128 gb SD card. Thankfully Best Buy came out with a sweat deal, some bonus points kicked in and I was able to purchase them for a lower price. My kids were ecstatic that their memory cards had a Super Mario character on them.
Tyler –
Worth the money. I decided it would be better to just buy one memory card with a large amount of storage space on it so we did not have to keep switching between memory cards. Same reason I buy digital game data. I have young children ages 6 and under and I find that just one memory card in that constantly stays in the device is perfect and makes a lot of matters less complicated. Came when it said it would. Perfect condition. Would buy again if I had to, but the memory on it is fantastic, so I probably wont have to for a while.
danbanhttt –
The first picture shows the item packaging. The second picture shows the small plastic sleeve inside the packing the sd card comes in. Neither of those were in my shipment. Just the sd card in a small plastic slip mailed without any protection. Not very smart for the nature of the item.
Robbiebeast –
If you have a Nintendo Switch, that you will most likely need additional memory at some point. There are a lot of memory cards out there, and its nice that you can use just about any brand and size you want. I opted for this official, 256 GB version from SanDisk. Its debatable whether getting one that is endorsed by Nintendo really matters, but I figure that it cant hurt. Id like to think that theyve tried to match this card up to the Switch as perfectly as is possible. I got this on sale from Best Buy and its been working perfectly for several months now.
OSDesigner –
IF you own a Nintendo Switch Lite Yellow version. This Super Mario Gold Super Star memory card is an instant buy.Its size is 256GB making it the best accessory for your Yellow Nintendo Switch Lite.Easy to install, all your console needs is an update to use SD XC card.Play and screen capture your games without Limit with this gem
Infin8alx –
Great performing memory card with the Nintendo themed mushroom on it. Sure you could put just any ol regular Micro SD card in your switch and it will work just the same, but having that color scheme and mushroom on it give it a nice touch. It allows for download and storing all my digital game purchases from the Nintendo online digital store while keeping my internal Nintendo switch free for storing game progress saves. Just pop the card in the micro SD slot and youre ready to download anything purchased from the digital store. If youre the youre the type that prefers to have a digital game collection then you may want to go with the larger 256gb capacity SD card, but this really has worked well to hold the 56 full digital games purchased so far.

SANDISK 128GB MICROSDXC MEMORY CARD FOR NINTENDO SWITCHI purchased this when Best Buy put it on sale. I own the Nintendo Switch 32GB Console Neon RedNeon Blue JoyCon. I am not an avid video game player, at all. I purchased this during COVID19, July 28, 2020, because my sisters asked me to so that we can play in our respective States all three of us live in different States and in different time zones like we used to when we were little and had Nintendo 64. 128GB is quite a lot for me, and I will never use all that space, but it was on sale, so why not.
Ben –
What more could you want from a memory card you say How about an amazing gold Hyrule crest On a more serious note, The memory card worked perfectly for my first generation Nintendo switch. More storage More games Going to order more for my DSLR camera just because.
John –
Was waiting for this item to arrive for over a week, when it finally arrived and I popped it in my switch. It prompted me to format it right away when it usually asks to perform an update and would not format. I tried several methods and times to get it to work but it wouldnt format the card. After some inspection the packaging for the card seemed off from my other memory card. Just the fonts and colors were slightly different. Im pretty sure its a fake card and Im going to return this and buy a new one from best buy or target.
Jake –
Rating and value The reason I gave it a 4 instead of 5 star rating is value. You can use any microSD card in a switch as long as it has the appropriate specs microSDXC and UHS1 as seen here. While I like the Nintendo branding, all it really does is increase price, as you are not likely to be taking out your microSD card regularly you really shouldnt be at all in most cases. The reason I purchased this one specifically was that it was a Deal of the Day and was therefore the best value for what I was looking for at that time specifically.Performance I have been using this for nearly a year, with regular use and it is performing as expected. I have several games downloaded onto the card that I play frequently and have not encountered any issues, as well as I have both downloaded and removed a variety of games that take up significant memory space, and have not encountered an issue yet. I have had it less than a year, so I wouldnt expect there to be any problems, and I hope that continues.
Bryan –
Bought this to expand the memory of my Nintendo Switch. Worth every penny. It allowed me to play recent purchases that required a large download like Borderlands and Bioshock Collection. Was able to use point from Best Buys rewards and bring the price down further. Installation was easy and allows for more games on my Switch
Chris –
I bought a Samsung memory card before this as apparently it was compatible. Managed to download just one game on to it and then no more would download. Bought this instead and its worked perfectly, all games downloaded, no issues at all, Id highly recommend buying this over any other apparently compatible cards.
Amanda –
Be careful when purchasing these MICRO SDs. I purchased this one thinking it would save me time searching for the proper SD card for my switch but this ended up being worse than taking the time to research. I followed all steps to insert properly this SD and my switch was not able to read it. Ive restarted my switch, Ive inserted it while turned off, I took it out and tried three more times. I mean, I TRIED EVERYTHING, and it still doesnt work. Do the research and buy a proper SD card.
Brandon –
Picked this up on an incredible deal a few months ago. Switch games are small enough file sizes to where I probably dont have to worry about storage on it ever again. It was easy to insert into the console, Switch recognized it immediately. You can transfer game files to and from the built in console memory and the memory card. No brainer, especially for the sale price I got it for.
Laytonyan –
I use this with my Nintendo Switch Lite system. Its been over a year and I havent had any problems. Make sure you buy this from a reputable store like Bestbuy, as opposed to a third party online seller that might sell you a fake. Also, Bestbuy does pr ice mat ch. Make sure youre not 0ver pay1ng.
MamoXMamo –
This expansion card is a MUST, especially if you like to download or purchase digital version of games. Digital games take a lot of of GB data so having this extra GB is a reliever compared to the measly amount on the switch. Oh and this will definitely save you the heartbreak and anxiety of deleting games on your switch if you run out of storage and need to free up space haha Invest and dont worry about it later

So I ordered this and it did not ever show up it got lost. But I got a refund and bought it again and it works great and with two full games all my game data and more I have 79 gb left. you can use a regular sd, it doesnt have to be the Nintendo one, but I just wanted the little speed mushroom guy. you can buy the same thing for cheaper by buying one without the mushroom

If you want to play any games on your switch you absolutely need to get this This card will be the most reliable compared to other micro SD cards since it is specifically formatted for the switch. I have seen many other reviews on regular SD cards where they stopped working shortly after using them and they had lost all their game data. Even though it is more expensive I feel assured that I will have my game data for a very long time.

I had been wanting a new and bigger micro SD card since my nintendo switchs was full. I was excited to see this on sale for a great price. Its cute too with the little toad stool on it Finally I can add new games onto my switch and take more screen shots, especially with New Pokemon Snap
Michaels –
Works very well with the Nintendo Switch and is very fast. Id recommend this for the Switch. It should work well for other high speed needs as well like a mobile phone. The size of the SD card is sufficient for a lot of games on Switch. Id recommend 256 minimum to avoid swapping out cards often.

Got this on sale and it is actually amazing. Before, I didnt even have enough space to keep all my physical game data. Now I feel like I can buy as many games as I want, I can download games without worrying about my saves. I highly recommend this, I imagine this could also help out a lot if you have a small child since theres plenty of inexpensive educational games

Considering the capacity and how fast this is, it is an excellent value. We have two of these now, one for each switch, and the performance is excellent. With these you dont have to format anything. Just open the package, stick the card in, and youre good to goI think for the small difference in price its worth it to go for the 128GB over the 64GB just for the piece of mind. Ive tried other storage cards before and had issues. Of the 1520 SanDisk flash memory cards Ive used over the years, not one has ever failed me.

I figured my daughter might add a few games to her new Switch that having the additional memory card might be helpful. However, she picked up quite a few positively reviewed and recommended downloadableonly games at a really good sale price during the holiday season that it became necessary. Luckily the card from SanDisk a company whose cards Ive used with multiple digital cameras, videocameras and phones over the years was also on sale during the same season.

Since Ive downloaded quite a few large games for my Switch, I needed to buy a new memory card that could hold everything with some room to spare. This card was a great deal at the time, and I was able to pick it up curbside. I popped it into my Switch, and it was ready to go in minutes. So far I havent had any issues while downloading games to this card, or playing them. While I got a good deal on this card, if there was a better deal on a similar nonNintendo branded item, I would go with that. There is absolutely no difference between this and a regular SanDisk card, just the yellow color and Nintendo graphic. Still, if Im reviewing this item, it works perfectly.

I really love this card. It has been very useful for me. The Nintendo switch console has very limited space and with only a few games mine was already out of space. However thanks to this card I have been able to expand its memory. Its very fast and effective. It works very well and is very easy to use. I recommend restarting your Nintendo after inserting the card. I really liked this product and would absolutely recommend.

If you want to have a fair library of digital games from the estore on your Switch and you should then you are going to need to expand the memory with an SD card and this one has a cute mushroom on it Youll never see the cute card again after youve inserted it in the console, but youll know it is there making everything better If you can get the Nintendo branded one on sale for about the cost of other SD cards, then get this. The Nintendo branding may also be a consideration if you are giving as a gift. Seriously though, it is just like any other SD card, Im not sure what can really be said in a review that would be helpful. It does its job without any issues at all. Buy it

Bought this in a great sale, and although the Switch branding here is more of a gimmick, it ended up being the same price of an equivalent category SanDisk regular card same speedrating, so I obviously appreciated the theme and branding and red color, yeah of this card. It has been working flawlessly and it was a much needed expansion to my everfull console. Good product

This probably isnt for everyone since Nintendo cartridges actually hold all the base game data unlike the other two rival game systems. If youre buying mostly physical games, you could probably get away with buying a smaller SD card to save some money. But if youre buying even some digital and taking advantage of the eShop, this card is as futureproof as you could get. And the yellow Mario star printed on it is a nice touch to distinguish it from any other cards you may have.

After running out of storage on my Switch, I purchased this memory card for extra space. Offers a good amount of extra storage for the price, though Id recommend waiting to try and get it on sale. It is reliable and easy to use. The branded design also makes it east to identify the card among from my others.

When I found out that one of my games was 32GB and my system storage was 26GB it made me frustrated that the fact I payed 30 for a game that comes in a big case when the gamecard itself is small and it takes up that much storage. So I got the 256GB and now Im glad I get to play that game and my other games too and not have to worry about using up all of my storage. It also comes at a good price and is worth the purchase and I recommend getting this if you a gamer like me.
Robert –
This card turned out to be the red version with the mushroom head on it I was super pumped to see that when I opened the package. I wont ever need to purchase another card, this thing has more than enough space, especially for someone like me who basically only purchases physical versions of games so I can hopefully resell them or trade it in Installing this is simple too

I used an random but new Micro SD card and it all gave was download errors and wasted my gigabyte data due to constant download restarts. I bought this one for 128GB and I couldnt be any happier. This one downloads EVERYTHING smoothly with no errors, even with bad connection. I highly, HIGHLY recommend this to those who are constantly getting errors on their micro sd cards and want a proper, smooth download. No need to format once you insert, just insert, download and play

Great little SD card. Looks cool, although cant see it cause of it being always inside my Nintendo Switch.Stores a large amount of digital games and hundreds of game photo captures.Fast enough for my speed requirements of game saving and loading.

Originally bought this for 79 during Black Friday and do not regret my decision at all This SD card works well with no issue and now I have a ton of space on my Switch that originally only had 32gb of internal storage. Plus, the color scheme of this particular SD card matches really well with the Animal Crossing Switch I own. Even if this isnt the SD card you end up with, I would highly recommend all Switch owners purchase an SD card for more available space.

Cute Micro SD card with a logo that means its for my switch and not cameras and I think it came in a plastic casing that I use to house a second one.My word to the wise if you play many games, or intend to use the online shop at all, buy this right away put all your savesgames on it. Youll save so much time. I was able to move saves off the system to the card, then from a smaller card to what was freed up on the system, then move what was newly on the system from the smaller card into this 128er.Took longer than it should have, but now I have all my stuff here am not worried about not having the right card for a specific game can continue to download and play new games without worry of overcrowding the system.Get this bad boy on a sale, youre better off going with the largest GB you can find dont get the 32 or 64 trust me. Many games are gonna be 14 of 32. With 128 gigs, you could get 16 of those massive games without hassle and seriously, just go with me on this

I typically review things after long term use, Ive had this card for almost a year and it Works as intended, definitely a must have if you need extra storage for the switch. No issue just insert into the switch and go. Recommend catching it on sale though price comes down significantly. Nintendo licensed product and design is a nice touch.

These work great. I bought my twins the Switch a few years back. They barely used them. Well, now they want to use them all the time. I was unaware the memory in these are enough for maybe a game. So I was off to find storage. I bought some other scandisks unaware the one for the switch has to be a micro Returned the others and was referred to these. They are made especially for the switch. Now all is right with the world and my twins can downloads tons of games. Thank you Scandisk for saving the day

Was the cheapest price I could find and picked up in store. Couldnt wait to get my hands on one. Nice little packaging and easy to Mount into my Nintendo switch. Pretty much plug and play with no issues. Glad I pulled the trigger and now can store all my games without having to delete and redownload games on my switchs local storage. Highly recommend getting this size if you do a lot of digital downloads.

I ended up returning this because I dont need the official one. I mean its nice to know it works 100, but so do other u3 microsd cards. Just be careful when you order online because those can be fake, but if you get something like a legit Samsung microsd card, then that will most likely be cheaper and work just as well as this overpriced SD card.To test out the speed and authenticity of your MicroSD cards, use a software called H2testw. Just Youtube tutorials. It has saved me more than once with fakes.

This helped put so much. I bought this micro as card for a family member child, who was looking to install more games onto the Switch. This helped out greatly and further more, was easy to install and format. Save yourself the headache when buying a Switch and purchase a large memory sized micro sd card.

I prefer the Sandisk MicroSD cards for use in my Switch. This is the same as other cheaper cards that Best Buy sells, just marketed for the switch and with Nintendo graphics on the cards. Since I found this on sale, I got this version just for the Nintendo design. This does work great for increasing storage in your switch, and can be used on other devices if you need to upgrade further in the future.
mamaK95 –
My switch immediately realized I had put this in. As soon as it was in, I was promoted to update so it could work correctly. I did and everything seemed to start running better. Certain games were lagging, I assumed due to full storage because it was not an online game. Im glad that this has allowed me to have more space for games

Its a great SD card from a reputable manufacturer. For the most part, this is a great starter card for those wanting to dabble in digital content for the Switch. However, you can easily go for a non Nintendoaffiliated card with the same capacity for a much lower price without losing out on functionality. Go that route instead and put the savings towards another game.

You will eventually run into a storage problem with the more games you purchase and play. Your game save files are precious do not wait until you have to be faced with the dilemma of choosing which file to delete. I bought this as a deal of the day. It was a great deal I had to watch a YouTube video to assist me with transferring data from the old card to this new one. Overall the process to transfer that data wasnt too difficult. It was well worth the time and effort.

I started with this microsd card. For its memory size, I think it was a great first move. Me personally, I have amassed a large amount of games, so I have since updated to a larger card. Still, this is more than ample to begin with, or for someone that has a limited amount of games. This was a great first move.
nwin –
This card is the exact same as a non branded card with similar specifications. But if the price doesnt matter to you, then this card works perfectly. You will almost never actually see the card, so keep that in mind. This would be a good gift idea for nontechnical parents who dont quite know what speed microSD card to buy their kids.

So I purchased this card on on 12192020 from Bestbuy in Manchester Conn, I removed my 128gig from my switch and inserted the new card 256gig Yellow Card My Switch wont recognize it, I even tried to use it on my Dji action cam and still wont recognize it, I even tried it on my GoPro Hero 8 and same issue. A lot of videos on YouTube states that I must format the card for it to work on my switch. If that is the case Its pretty lame. Now I have to bring it back to bestbuy and hope that have another in stock if they cant figure out this card. If I switch it and it works Ill update this review ..

Great little memory card that looks really cool and performs very well. You may run out of space though if you download or install multiple games so as long as you space manage, youll be fine.Definitely recommend but would advise a memory card with more capacity. Id say 128 GB minimum. I now use a 500 GB because i like to install everything which i dont advise unless you like to do that.
