I got this and tried it in a pc running windows 7, one running windows 8.1 and one running windows 10. Finally I tried my Linux machine. On none of these did the thing work as it should do. There was an extremely slow response to asking for a directory listing. So I returned the item. It has made me reluctant to try this make of usb stock again. Instead, I paid a small amount extra and bought a Kingston which has worked perfectly and has a much more robust metal case

I bought this on the basis of the vaulted Secure Software Backup which turns out to be a simple encrypted vault type software In addition I had to download the software I needed because I have a Mac the drive is Windows orientated and is this day and age I find that unacceptable. I also found in use the Drive was extremely slow I tried various backup software including the SanDisks own plus versions for Windows and Mac and all of them were reporting days for backing up files which takes about 15 mins to backup on a HDD I am prepared to accept this might not be all SanDisks fault since it could lie with my USB Ports as I have a very old 2007 Mac and therefore this might be a conflict between USB 3 and 2 but I have stopped using this for Backups which was the reason for buying it. Overall however if I knew then what I know now I would probably opt for a much cheaper e.g. 13 USB Drive which are available on the market.

I have probably ordered a far too superior usb for my requirements This is certainly far too advanced for my needs which besides personal use are Church documentation and posters. To get started it is like getting into a bank vault and perhaps that is what some buyers will like the security side. I also find that although I started using one, when I tried to retrieve from my laptop I cannot remove it easily from the usb port. It fits so tightly so I am worried about trying again. This is not a complaint it is just my experience of the very efficient item.

Buying flash memory is hit and miss. I have received items, usually suspiciously cheap, that fall way short of the capacity advertised or are much slower to readwrite than they should be. Therefore I am always pleasantly surprised when it does what it is supposed to. This USB flash drive really does have around 128gb of accessible memory and has perfectly useful readwrite speeds from the first block to the last. Some flash drives have good speeds when accessing the early blocks but slow down as they fill up. This one doesnt it remains consistent.

A single piece moulded over the chip makes these USB sticks pretty solid, as there is a seam in the case to snap open.Ive been using them on and off for a couple of weeks and they hang from a heavy set of keys, no issues yet.

It turned at 31.9 gb. I contacted SanDisk they gave me software to reformat to 128 gb. The USB stick was wrongly formatted by SanDisk. It is now 128 gb.

Argos is always my first port of call.This product is perfect for a range of different uses. Im currently using them for music playback on my CD decks. I have used each of these drives a few times and they seem to work well enough. I have not really put anything very large on them yet. I have looked inside the plugs and these appear to be USB 2 drives, this was later confirmed by the seller so they could sustain a data transfer rate of up to 480 Mbs which is quite useful for a 16 GB size drive, obviously USB 3.0 would be faster. I checked the actual read speed and it was 288 Mbs which is reasonable, the write speed was a disappointing 40 Mbs. I got this Flash drive to hold all my partners photos and videos as a safety measure. It has ample room for thousands of high resolution photos and videos. The uploading speed was quite poor despite following suggested fixed on Google, and USB 3.0 connection. Of course, this might not be the fault of the drive there might be other causes. Recommended.

Ive only used one of these so far, with my son at college Im sure it wont be long before the other two are used.The one that Ive used had a whole bunch of Christmas music transferred onto it, from one that wouldnt play in my car for some reason. This is all you need really, a named, small plastic stick that will hold a ton of info and cost so little. Ok, its nice to have a little led that flashes when data transfer takes place, its nice to have a retractable mechanism to protect the contact pins how exactly And its nice to have it bigger to look more impressive, but whats the need These Cruzer Blade are small, light, colourful and do as theyre told. Thats good enough for me.

So far, just got one i love these little things. I put all my Christmas music on one and took it to the car where it turns on when i start the car and songs pick up where they left off. Otherwise they start from the beginning again. and again. This 16 gb size ships from different location than larger sizes, with Walmart, but i chose this size for my smaller Christmas collection. These are tiny but easily grasped between thumb and forefinger and are easier to handle than some of the other similar devices, like the cruiser slide. I plan to store them in small locking plastic bags but they have a hole to carry on keychain if one should choose to keep them hanging from a car mirror. I intend to buy higher gb enough to hold all my music favorites. 32gb generally holds up to 2000 songs as judged by the sd cards, hopefully these cruzer blades will do the same. So a 16gb, which this is, might hold 1000 songs.

Good for a large amount of storage on a small USB stick for little money, whilst still carrying the Sandisk name. However It is not USB 3.0, so it is not fast, despite what the ratings say. The construction of the USB stick is also to be desired the flimsy plastic surround to the port broke, as did the keyring hole, rendering the stick inoperable after a years use. I can only recommend this particular model because of the storage it offers the smarter money will be on a a faster USB 3.0 that has protection to the port.

Although it was listed on the mounting card as being suitable for Windows Vista, 7 and 8, I was a little dubious about using it with Windows 10. However, not to worry, it is fine with Windows 10. All types of files seem to be OK, although email files are a little dubious as several questions are asked before saving them, but they are fine if one OKs it. Its a little slow. If you seek for a better performance, buy an USB 3 pendrive. If speed is not so important, than this flashdrive is a good choice. Tested with h2testw. Write speed is 7.79 MBs, read speed is 31.2 MBs.

Ive had these memory sticks 8 and 16 GB before and never had a problem. At 128GB this is the biggest Ive ever had and managed to backup all my photos and will now buy another similar for my videos. I am using them as a straight forward safety double backup as I still use a permanent 2TB for the whole desktop.

A previous tiny USB stick I purchased looked great but being made out of metal it got really hot and after a while started misfiring and failing to transfer files correctly. This SanDisk is plastic so does not conduct heat as easily and so far has performed exactly as it should. I do like the design, although small the thicker end gives you something to hold on to when you pull it out of the USB port. And you can thread it onto your keyring if you want to. Recommended.

I had perhaps 150 pictures in my HP computers photo gallery. I became that some of these had sentimental value and if the computer died dramatically these pictures would be lost. Simply plugging in the Scan Disk stick which registered at once on the screen, opening my picture gallery and then shrinking that display allowed me to select the specific images, perhaps about 60. Remove stick. reinsert to confirm and the selection were all present. Excellent device and easy to use for me as a computer geriatric at nearly 78 yrs old.

I needed this because our regular faithful automatic NortonSymantec backup process had steadily filled then fallen over on reaching the limits of a 64GB flash drive.This had good reviews from other customers it installed automatically and backed up 56GB of data in roughly 90 minutes. The little red plastic tab has a hole into which you can add a keyring or lanyard.Con the USB slot is totally unprotected there is no cover over time, you may find crp getting in.So far 21Sep2018 so good.

Had seen some reviews that stated that the cruzer is no good and was not recognised when used. Sandisk is a reputable company and I thought these reviews must be wrong so I took the plunge and bought a 128gb stick. I tried it on my Macbook and it didnt recognise it but this was on a cold plugin. I then reinserted the cruzer stick and added the Sandisk mac software included on the stick and it was instantly recognised and thereafter worked like a charm. The end result is a superfast memory stick and is such great value for 128gb that I bought a second cruzer of the same size. So to the doubters, buy it, upload the included software and it works. Simple as that. Excellent value from excellent company purchased from excellent suppler.

I wanted a flash drive USB stick to put a large amount of podcast material on so that I could plug it into my car stereo I bought this one. The security features encryption vault are impressive considering the price but kind of irrelevant to me and I wish I hadnt transferred a ton of MP3 material onto it before I realised that the encryption meant my car stereo couldnt access it. I had to wipe the drive and start again. I was grateful for being able to bypass encryption the second time around. Now it works fine, but it has to be said that the build quality is extremely lightweight and plasticy this drive will not stand up to much abuse.

Difficult to use. Inserting the stick requires excessive force. The stick is small, so they have provided a hole so you can use a key ring to find it. The hole is too small and positioned so that a key ring will just make the whole thing even more awkward with a laptop. Incompatible with some older versions of Windows. I have foolishly bought 2 packs of 3. Now in bin, as completely unfit for purpose. I will not buy SanDisk products in future.

Highly recommended USB stick, especially good for making backups of your files. It can take 4 to 5 hours to back up say 100GB on older machines e.g. those running Windows Vista, but I prefer having the files myself rather than having them in the cloud.

Always buy it new . Refurbished is code for damaged goods but well sell it to you anyway . The 32GB Sandisk is the best at storing info . and best at keeping it for a long time and keeping it safe . I have over 8 32 GB drives for over 5 years and not one has failed me . All other Zipdrives are 2nd hand and garbage . There reliability is off the charts , 5 stars . If there is a problem that the zip may incounter , the zip will pop up a window asking you to check for errors , or go to Defragment zip disk in your computer side bar for a complete check and fix . I have only had this happen to a few sandisk and not 1 image or video lost afterwards . They can save both images , files , computer notepad or wordpad , videos all on the same disk . They are mutisavefunctional . Not so for other brands Ive also bought . Its Sandisk or nothing .

I back up my computer every month. My experience is this USB Memory stick is the best method. Other memory sticks and discs have been tried, but not as good. Cloud back up alone is not adequate.

OK so we all know what a USB flash drive does, so lets forego the formalities. I bought these for backing up the various PS4s in the house there are three. My youngest son had a PS4 failure so we had to send it to Sony for repair under warranty, but of course it came back with everything wiped clean so I ended up having to rebuild the system ids, networking etc, but could do nothing about his game saves one of which hed been playing for months.I bought these and they have been good for that job, however they do feel very light and plasticky so Im not sure if Id want to use one to stick in my wallet and carry around, especially if the data on it is important. However because they tend to be left in a PS4 USB slot I dont have a problem, and have no evidence that they arent stronger than their appearance suggests. Four stars on the basis that they do the job, and while they appear fragile they may be able to withstand hard knocks, I just dont know.

I use this for storing music tracks, sort of a Music Library a my computer has crashed a few times and lost some items. I know these items are not totally foolproof, I had one fail not this make a very cheap one and lost a load of pictures and even the replacement wasnt any good. However with this brand, among those I trust, I am happy to use it for storage. I have another I use for home video and so on. it is so neat and takes up little room but the sometimes it gets lost on one of my desks which is a lesson to me to be more tidy. However it fits nicely into my pocket, useful when in a studio I do a local radio show daily and I can upload stuff to the pen drive to take with me for Breaking News and other items like a last minute release of a track. Very useful but remember when removing it from your P.C. do it in accordance with the instructions and never whilst it is running or you may lose data.

Ive had nothing but problems since buying this. Sometimes it isnt recognised at all, other times it is, other times it comes up saying there is an error and to scan to fix it. Do this and then again it cames up with the same error. It wont hold what is copied onto it sometimes. It really is hit and miss as to whether this item works at all. Wasted money buying this. Would have been better finding another one.

Average pen drives. Their reading speed is standard but writing is slightly below the average. Not a big issue unless you are constantly writing to them. They look and feel cheap as the plastic case is quite thin, you could smash them easily. They are not designed to carry in a pocket.But for the price and amount of pen drives the cons are ok. I use them to store some recovery tools so its only writeonce and usemany job. So its fine for me.

The product is easy to use and offers great value for money. I have used this to save photos taken on my camera 16GB is easily large enough to store as many photos as I need. Transfer speeds also seem fast.The inclusion of three separate USB Drives is very useful as this means I can use them for separate purposes, e.g. one for photos and one for work files.You can also attach these to a keyring lanyard, which is very handy. I like the bright colours which stand out in my bag.

I ordered three. The first one opened would not work. The second worked well but the sandisk encryption software was not on the sick. I did not open the third. Packets were labelled made in Malaysia but on the product a stamp was made in China. I try not to buy anything from China as the government is nasty to their own people. As all of the money was returned to my account, which is why I gave it 2 star.

This is supposedly a 128GB drive but after putting approximately 9GB of data onto it, it became unusable and files became corrupted, it was also made of seemingly very cheap materials. This has to be the worst flash drive Ive ever used. Definitely not worth the money

This is a replacement I received a couple of months ago. I am always told that SanDisk are the memory cardssticks to go for and Im convinced people dont know what theyre talking about. I have used this twice and now it only formats to 32GB instead of 64GB, I wont risk putting important files on this now. Last week a 128gb Sandisk MicroSD just give up on me after 2 weeks I dont buy many cardssticks so the failure rate is appalling. The best stick Ive got is a HP one, the best MicroSD Card is a Kingston one.Dont know about you, but Ill never buy SanDisk again.

Very good product, but some of them do come up short on the GB size. The last one I had read only 116GB for a 128GB stick. But all in all, they dont fail very often so thats why I purchase them. But beware of some really cheap ones, they are cheap, but they fail very quickly. The name says it all.
