Straight out of the box this is a lovely looking lens, very neat and well made. I bought it as a portrait lens to pair with the new Sony A7CR camera. The lens would not auto focus on this camera regardless of the light or settings I tried. I tried it on the Sony A1 and A7c and it was better but not very fast. Such a shame-I had to return it. 2023-review edit. All this lens required was an update. This is only possible with a Samyang lens station and has eliminate the auto focus problems. There’s no other way to update the lens without obtaining the lens station. Have repurchased the lens, updated it and I’m now pleased with it. One person found this helpful
