My review is not about the Galaxy S9 phone in general, but about the quality of this unlocked, refurbished S9 from this seller Cell Trader. On a scale of terrible to new, Id rate the condition as slightly used. Most of the phone was pristine, no cracks or large scratches on the body or screen. The screen had some minor scratches that were visible when the screen was off, but not noticeable when it was turned on. Overall, I was very satisfied with the purchase.

the larger internal storage and faster speed is enough of an upgrade from my S7. i like the easy transfer function it has for moving my S7 data, apps and presets. the size isnt much bigger so it still fits in my pocket well. the battery life is better than the S7 and charging is quick. sound is also good and glad it still has the headphone jack for my car radio aux in. lots of pros to this phone and a great upgrade, especially for the used price.

This is my current phone and I love it As far as phones go, Im more for android than Apple. It was pretty expensive but its worth the price. Its lasted me almost 2 years already and no issues like bugs, glitches, etc. The camera is awesome i like to do my photography with this phone. Lots of helpful tool apps included. Highly recommend if you can afford it and want a reliable, long lasting smart phone

A little over a month in to having my S9. Great product at a great price. No issues. I was a little skeptical purchasing a phone from ebay, but it has been exactly as described. New My review of the phone is separate from the review of this ebay purchase. I am a big fan of the customization ability on android phones and Samsung is one of the best. I am still learning new, cool things from other S9 users. The speed and storage are a plus. The curved screen takes a bit of getting used to. Not sure if I like it better. The noncurved screen on other phones definitely has a better aesthetic appeal in my opinion. Also, I am not a fan of the glass back. I much rather a nonslip surface that has better grip and impact absorption. Overall, I am pretty pleased.

The features are great. They are useful in daily life and I find myself a few of them often. The ability to shrink the screen size for onehanded mode is extremely useful as Ive been using smaller phones for most my life, before my upgrade to the S9. The SmartSwich ability removes all hassle associated with transferring data from my old phone and my current S9, which was a lifesaver for me, as I had an iPhone before this. I feel that the button layout have been planned more carefully, as the Bixby and volume buttons can get mistaken for the other. This is especially annoying when you are trying to change volume but ending up activating Bixby, but thankfully there is a setting to deactivate the Bixby screen. I am very happy with the camera quality, and find it gives me more motivation and the ability to take good photos. Switching from the iPhone, I am quite disappointed with the earphones. I felt it was too soft and underwhelming when compared with Apples earphones with impressive bass. As an avid music fan of many genres including loud genres such as rock and metal, good earphones are quite important to me. The multitasking feature is very handy, as I no longer have to double click the home button to switch between apps. Very good. The battery life is impressive as it lasts me for over 12 hours on heavy usage, even with many extra features in use such as Always On Display, the notification lights and multitasking at times.Overall this phone is of excellent quality, and I do enjoy using it every day.

What a great phone Ive been using Galaxy phones for last 6 years and every year its better than last. S9 is a big leap from S7 line in terms of overall stability and performance. It is a very smooth phone that can handle everything gracefully. Camera is a big change as well from S7 and S8 line up, the low light feature and overall picture depth is great. The new shape, starting from S8 is much better in my opinion. Removing the home button and making the screen stretch almost all of the face of the phone really makes it stand out. Its like holding a thin glass brick. For that reason, black is the color to go with since it will make it look incredibly sleek. On black, its hard to tell where the screen ends and body starts. Best of all, the android OS integration is done really well. Apps dont hang up or crash, transferring stuff from old phone to new one is a breeze…I dont think any other phone comes closer. You just put your S9 next to another galaxy and that its… some how itll detect both phones and start the process to transfer apps, settings and data. Battery has kept up for the whole day even when I am playing Last Shelter game for 23 hours per day…thats a huge drain on battery. This phone does scratch very easily so invest in a good case AND screen protector. Because screen and body are seamless, its easy to scratch or crack both. You sacrifice the beautiful naked phone look but it wont last without protection.

This was a Demo model, and although looked immaculate, it had worse battery life than the three year old Samsung Galaxy I bought it to replace, which I had also gotten secondhand Which is cruelly ironic, as I have MECFS Myalgic EncephalomyelitisChronic Fatigue Syndrome, and always wake up with a dead battery, myself. Great phone, screen, camera, but battery life useless for more than a couple of hours without even making many calls Also, not sure if it is related to this phone, or the Qi Powerbank I purchased at the same time, but it wont charge wirelessly unless temperature is above 17deg C Which is higher than it ever got for me living in a garage, in Canberra winter.

I wanted to review the pallette in the photo, but it cant be found on the site, so Ill review both the phone and the pallette. Ive been with Samsung since before smart phones and I really like the brand. It takes great pictures, as you can see here and its super user friendly. Hasnt caught fire yet Now for the pallette. This is Lancome x Chiara Ferragni flirty pallette. Its a wonderful day look and a sexy night look. Actually its 4 days and 4 night looks. Starting on the left, lip gloss 4 lipstick shades, 4 eyeshadows. .. 2 matte and 2 highlights, blush and 3 face highlights from light to darker. It has 3 brushes included, a blush brush, a double ended eyeshadow brush and a lip brush. Im definitely going to be using this pallette for travel Id only need foundation and mascara to complete the looks. Thank you, Lancome I wish more pallettes were like this one. Highly recommended.

I love Samsung mobile devices, so when this S9 was announced I was excited to get my hands on it as soon as possible. I review this phone as honest as it can be.BatteryThe battery life is good it gets me through the day with heavy usage.Display is as elegant as it is, beautiful colours, lovely graphics and love the video feature which brightens up the screen when watching videos.AudioSound is amazing and loud, I can listen a podcast whilst in the kitchen with the washing machine on.UsabiltyThe phone is much more responsive and easy to use then my last phone which was the S7, i love the bixby feature although its similar to Iphones Siri but I think its better.StorageThis phone has a vast amount of space and also love the fact that the storage can be expanded up to 400GB. System apps use up alot of space but I still have over 40GB to play with.CameraI find the camera quality is much better and quicker and love the new features although i havent had the chance to test out the slow mo feature but really excited.SecurityThis phone is tanked up with security, the iris scanner and face recognition is spot on and also the fingerprint reader in the back. I love the fact that you can unlock the phone if theres a trusted device nearby although this can pose a security threat.ConclusionThis is a great phone, the best phone I have every brought from Samsung in my opinion. The elegant feel of the phone is so smooth and sexy that it will turn heads wherever I go. I will always endeavour to get the latest Samsung phones in the future. Keep up the good work Samsung.

At first, the Samsung Galaxy S9 was performing great. It still is after owning it for almost a month. The problem is that I was not able to answer any incoming calls. I thought, whats the point of having a cellphone if it cant do the most basic thing after much research, I discovered that you need to install the virtual assistant which needs to stay on the screen. Somewhat annoying because its always in the way even though its movable. Problem solved Another issue is that the phone freezes on occasion, which is a concern for a brand new phone. Will have to look into this. Lastly, the icons sometimes disappear from the home screen and you may not even be aware of it at first. Simply search the icon and itll pop up and then you can place it wherever you wish. Another disturbance is that the rounded edges make it difficult to type any letterrs situated there resulting in having to tap the letter several times before it finally appears. Other than these issues so far, this is a great little phone with a long lasting battery.

My s9 came one day earlier than expected which was very nice. I had zero problem setting my phone up and I have Verizon. I was shocked how easy it was to get my phone set up. The phone came with very minor surface scratches which you cannot see at all with a screen protector on. Excellent product especially for the price. Its always a crapshoot with this sort of thing but I am thoroughly impressed and highly recommend.

This is my first time trying a Samsung phone. All my smartphones have been HTC. The Galaxys seemed to have a good following. I like to save money so tried ordering the S8. I had issues with two of them and had to return them. Decided to pay more and go with the S9. At least I was still saving alot compared to purchasing the S10 or S20 right now. This phone feels great, I was able to get a good slim case and screen protector for it. Im extremely happy with this phone and a fairly easy switch from HTC.

I was skeptical at first when buying this because I am a long time avid apple user, BUT this phone has changed me. This phone is so slim and fast The sound is a bit less clear than the iPhone, but not buy much. The camera has me so surprised on how good it is The screen resolution is beautiful I love how the screen encompasses the entire face of the phone. But despite all that, what really sold me was all the amazing features. Not to mention that Bixby seems to be much smarter and functional than Siri. Im sorry to say that Aplle will be loosing a customer now because this phone changed my perception of what a smart phone should be like. But despite all these praises, I am only giving it 4 stars because I am very disappointed on both the battery length and charging speed. But despite that, I am going to stick with Samsung from now on because that is a small price to pay for having such a powerful phone. Im hoping that they will fix that issue on future models.

The S9 is admittedly fantastic hardware, but dont buy a factory unlocked device to use in the US if you value security updates. I did, and I regret it now. In todays sketchy digital environment, and with all the sensitive business we perform on our phones, monthly security updates should be a nonnegotiable requirement for any new smartphone. Google makes available monthly android security updates to manufacturers with plenty of lead time for OEMs to implement them. Samsung has promised a year ago that going forward theyd provide monthly security updates for the galaxy line. The S9 runs Oreo out of the box so its a project treble enabled device, which Google implemented in Android for the specific aim to make updates simpler for OEMs. For the factory unlocked S9 in the US they arent even coming close to fulfilling that promise. Their flagship phone was released in mid March 2018 and had the February patch installed. It wasnt until July that we finally got our first security update Junes. Its now September and were still on that patch. They claim that all the carriers here have to approve the update before pushing it to the unlocked devices which makes no logical sense as the factory unlocked S9 is not tied to any carrier specific software or hardware configurations, however all the carriers here have released July and August patches, yet theres been nothing for the unlocked S9s. So while the S9 is stunning hardware, the lack of support in this day and age is unacceptable and unforgivable. If you want the phone and youre in the US and value security updates, do not buy an unlocked device. I wont be buying anything from Samsung ever again. Besides, theyre not the only ones that are building fantastic hardware nowadays.

I give this phone 2 stars because it is a great phone. Straight talk is a horrible carrier I have no signal on my house, 2 kids and Straight talk wont let my 650 after leasing payments are paid phone have wifi calling. I do NOT understand why this option isnt available when a galaxy s9 is fully capable of wifi calling. Straight talk sucks. The s9 reconditioned is great. Also, no where even in fine print does it say no wifi calling upon purchase, or looking at details, of phone. Satisfied customer as far as phone goes other than the no wifi calling capability

I couldnt be happier with my samsung phone. Recently I was on a vacation with my family in Hawaii on a vacation. I took my phone out with me while snorkeling to snap some underwater pictures with my kids. When we were swimming back to shore I grabbed my soninlaws leg , pretending to be a shark, he rolled me over and my phone fell out of my swimsuit pocket. We were only 5 feet from the shore. We immediately all started searching in the breaking surf along the beach edge. To my dismay we could not find it. I was especially worried as the water along the shore was merky with rolling sand.I put a lost add on Craigs list hoping someone would find it before we left in 2 days. No luck.Three weeks later I received a unrecognized phone call and let it go to voicemail. Later that night I listened in shock to a young woman saying theyd found my phone with their number to call to find out how to get it to me. I was in disbelief. I immediately called then back to find out they were walking along the shore and felt something smooth under foot. They reached down in the water and pulled up my cell phone. Obviously the phone wouldnt turn on but they took it home tti see if it would turn on after they left it on their wireless charger over night. In the morning, to their surprise, it powered up and had my name and number on the home screen. They mailed it to me and I was nervous about the condition it would be in after being submerged for 3 week. When I opened the package I was again shocked it wasnt scratched at all. It looked brand new. I then powered it on and was thrilled that it was all operational with the exception of the speaker phone.I have told this amazing story to so many of my friends and families. It surprises them all. Simply said, I love my Samsung phones. They are cutting edge, always years ahead of apple technology and arent made to break. Im a loyal Samsung customer. Im now on to my Samsung 10. It is a fantastic Smart phone that I truly love. Thanks a million Samsung for a great phone.

I love the camera of samsung, specially the 8 and 9 series members of my household has them too so i know. The galaxy s9 has a very bright display, well you have a lot of options for the display brightness or appearance i guess as any other smartphones.. what i love most about this phone is how excellent the photos are, its just like they were filtered in a way.. i also have iphone7 and s9 camera output is way better, and if you wanna edit your photos, it has way more options even than the iphone. However, the downside of these phones though is that, it appears though that the material or the hardware is less durable than iphone. Just giving an example, i bought my s9 2018 and had dropped several times and you can already see so many broken areas on its exterior while my iphone which i bought 2016 and was dropped more than my s9 is still intact as it is.. the worst though that almost made me regret buying this s9 is…the features says it is water resistant, but less than a month since i bought it, it was dropped in water.. i was confident enough it wont ruin the camera because as per its features, its water resistant.. however, it just made its camera useless From then on, the phone just hang up when you try to use the camera, and then you have to restart the phone again, even after doing all the DIYs trying to make the camera work again but to no avail. Only After 1 12 years this january 2020 it started working just suddenly.. i have no idea what made it work but it did.. but its not anymore as good as it should be.

i have had this phone for over a year now. here is what i think about it.the display is still great it is obviously very sharp and vivid.performance is still alright. it still holds its edge against todays midrangers.cameras are still very good for what i do, night and hdr modes seem to of gotten even better with software updates. my only complaint is the video quality is merely okay, but its nowhere near bad.the battery life is definitely the worst part of this phone. its not exactly horrible, its that you should probably expect to carry a charger if you plan to use the phone all day. i got around 5 hours of screenontime at the very most.overall, find a good deal. dont pay almost full retail price.

Worst phone Ive ever purchased. Am returning for an s7. Quality camera, quality sound, but the usability is hellish. This phone was overdesigned. Overly pushy software, buttons get pushed accidentally even if im being concise which is stressful. Half the time i dont know what i hit and have to waste time backtracking.. Bixby is extremely irritating, there are 4 apps for it on my phone and it cannot be removed please stop incorporating Bixby, Samsung. At first i was able to disable the bixby button but after one software update they took that away. What the hell Cant seem to access or transfer files easily. All the default apps are overcomplicated and not intuitive. I constantly want to throw it, it seems to have a mind of its own and does not lend well to an enjoyable user experience. I dont even wish this phone on my enemies.

This is actually my 3rd samsung Galaxy S9. They are great phones, as long as you get a good quality case, to protect them. My first one got ran over. The second one got a crack in the back of it at some point, I dont take the case off very often, once I did I saw a spider crack in the glass. It may be worth mentioning that Im a general contractor, so Im on my phone a lot in the field and on the jobsite. Dust, dirt, oil all of it, the Samsung can take a lot more abuse than previous phones Ive had. I like being able to replace it for 300 bucks also. Just a great phone all the way around.

Phone is in good shape only a few scratches cosmetic. But when you turn it on its when the real problems start. There is a burn image in back ground that takes up who screen. Was expecting this just not that noticeable. Phone gets hot on right hand side. Did not come factory reset either. Charging takes 3 hours just to get to 50 that is with the charger they provide.

Huge 6.1 inch display and bezel less, you will love its display. Its has a slim design 7.8mm and feels almost no weight 157gm when you hold it. I love this slim design. Camera quality is quite good compare to its previous version, 3 cameras at back and one at front. Camera has been really improved in S10 but still lacks behind Pixel. I love this blue filter mode, and it has automatic light adjustment according to your environment. If its day, brightness automatically goes high and viceversa. It is Snapgradon buit and has 8GB RAM so it has a quite a good speed and huge128 GB storage. I love this device function of split screen, you can use two app at a same time in a single screen as shown in image. Accurate and fast finger print scanner and face scanner.
ShockSystem –
I purchased this device for an additional line, and picked it because of a promotion. By the specifications it looked like a quality device that I would like in place of my S5, however I would learn that I would be greatly disappointed. The obnoxious features baked in to the phone are annoying, irritating and can not be disabled, rendering the experience anger inducing. I do not want to Try sharing my profile…ever. This can not be made to go away from the top of your contacts list. So its permanently at the top, and if you accidentally hit it, you are taken away from your contacts list to an ever annoying sign up screen. The inability to disable the Bixby button is rage inducing, and makes my want to throw a brand new, shiny, expensive device across the room. It is a built in, permanent annoyance. The other features of the device seem like they would be nice, if it wasnt ruined by the intrusive, constant want for the device to share, thinking that it is smarter than the operator. I would like to see if the other features are nice, like the camera etc., but Im just put off by the whole experience. Im tempted to eat the restocking fees and costs of setting up another device, just so I wont have to deal with this irritating, irremovable annoyance, just to have a phone that does what I want it to do. Put all that on top of the inability to change out the battery, a silly curved edge screen that makes pictures and video look bad, and all glass construction and you get…disappointment.

Great replacement for the perpetually dying battery S7 i had purchased from Straight Talk. Im now thinking Straight Talk phones are all the same. At least for Galaxy. This S9 out of the box post updates and everything to get it to a true standby state. Have to charge it by end of day everyday. Most all background and secondary power drains are turned off and yet the battery could hold up longer. I expected at least a day of charge not dying before bedtime. Anyway, otherwise great phone, good service.

I really have come to despise this phone. I have heard from many people that Samsung phones would be better than Apple, so I decided to give it a try. I got the Galaxy S9 a few months ago. I already hated it. First of all, it impaired my ability to pick up orders through Shipt when changing wifis. I never once had that problem with Apple. Then, it is not as user friendly. I have to push more buttons to get to where I want to go. No matter what I do with the volume, the sound of my texts are the same whether I turn it up or all the way down. What I hate the most is that my messages always have to be downloaded, and if they are in group message, they come in separately and then must be downloaded. I have already messed with all the settings. Ive done my research on the matter and even watched YouTube videos, nothing works. Also, I used to be able to send videos and voice recordings with my old Apple. You would think with a phone about 45 years newer that it would be able to send that basic data. Nope. Im not trying to say Apple is better, but Im saying this is a real piece of trash phone. And Im no novice to technology. The only good thing about this phone is the camera.
PaulyD234 –
I like Samsung phones, Ive had them since the S3. This one by far has the best battery life, I can go all day without charging, fairly heavy use, and still end up with about 15 to 20 battery life at the end of the day. Most other things seem about the same as the S7, which was my last phone, except as can be expected, this one is a little speedier as well since it has a newer processor. I was worried when I went to the S9, because it lacked a physical home button, and the edge screen. The lack of home button I got used to and dont mind after 5 minutes. The edge screen however seems to me to be idiotic. Also the corners arent square, they are rounded, so it cuts off some information on some screens. For the life of me I cant see what the attraction of the edge screen is. Most other phones have screens to the edge without being curved. The screen itself being curved is kind of whatever, but a lot of games I play require me to click on the edge of the screen to pull up a dialogue box, or for other reasons, and the edge screen doesnt let you do it. Its really driving me mad. Also, I hate when sometimes youre swiping and it brings the edge options up when you dont want them. I know you can turn that feature off, I already did when Im in an app, but its annoying as well. I simply dont see why when they have the technology to make a nice flat screen with actual corners they decide to give us some crazy screen that doesnt seem to have any actual benefits vs other phones.

I want to like this and give it a full 5 stars, but I just cant for some reason. I really love the OS of Samsung, it is super user friendly. I love adding widgets, and wingdings, or whatever they call them. I like the pics it takes and the editing options. But it just seems with each darn software update, my smartphone gets dumber. Mainly it is my keyboard I noticed it not wanting to correct any of my mistakes, or just simply changing the word to something completely off kilter. And it just gets worse. Plus everyone makes fun of it, asking if it is the Note. Pfffft, NO, it is NOT the Note. She is a little large, but she is just big boned. I will still stay commited to Samsung, but whatever they are doing with the software uodates is driving me bonkers.

Absolutely LOVE this phone First of all, it is physically beautiful. I got a clear cover so that the gorgeous lilac color isnt hidden. It is slim and thin and elegant and fits in my smallish hand so well. You absolutely need a cover, though, as the little sucker is really slippery without one. Its super fast, the screen is gorgeous and best of all, the speakers are hands down the loudest and best Ive ever heard on a phone. Makes a HUGE difference being able to hear navigation in the car. The earphones also much better than I have heard anywhere else, also. Facial recognition to open it works really well, even in low light. Havent done much with the camera yet, so cant comment on that. The battery life is more than fine for my normal use, and it recharges quickly on the wireless charger. Because I REFUSE to pay almost a thousand dollars for a phone, I purposely got the S9 instead of the S10 due to its much greater affordability. Kind of like we never buy brand new car only one year old certified cars. There is an S9 that is larger than this phone and its a little more expensive, but I dont like giant phones. This one is the same width as an iPhone and maybe an eighth inch taller. Its PERFECT

I have been both an apple and android user over the years. There was a time I swore I would never own an android, then my daughter bought a Galaxy S8 when it was released and after playing with her phone, I, myself, made the switch. For me, it was more user friendly and a better fit for my wantsneeds in a smart phone. I have since upgraded to the S9 and then recently the S10. The S9 is powerful, sleek and a phenomenal phone. I never had any issues. A ton of space, a lot of options and a fast operating system. I really enjoyed the camera, and despite others claims, the camera on the Samsung Galaxy is better than any camera on the iPhone, minus the better camera options. As far as Androids, the Samsung Galaxy phones are the only Android phones I have used and therefore cannot really compare them to the droves of other Android phones.

I bought this prior to visiting Japan as my old phone was nearing the end of its life and I didnt want to get a camera just for the trip. This upgrade has served me well for the last 2 years. Ive never been short on storage space and the battery lasted well during my trip too. I took about 1000 pictures and 100 videos over a week and never had any issues. 2 years later the phone is still working great. My only complaint is that the battery doesnt last as long as it did before but it can still make it through a 9 hour workday easily.

As a pocket computer its fine. As a phone, its meh. I wanted an unlocked phone to give me freedom. This device is not as compatible with my carrier Verizon as Id hoped. 4G reception dodgy it drops calls when Im in the rear of my or anyone elses apartmentand I live in NYC, a supposedly wellcovered locale. Native texting app gives invalid target messages when trying to send photos, though not when sending plain text. When calling for support, Samsung says its a Verizon problem, Verizon says its a Samsung problem. Though Im no fan of Verizon, I think theyre probably right. If S9 worked perfectly Id consider it a good deal, even though its an old fullyguaranteed model. As is, I think I made a mistake.

I got this as soon as it came out, coming from an LG G4 this phone was MILES ahead of any competition and anyone elses phone I knew. However after about 4 months or so I noticed my battery life had dropped to half of what it was and had various glitches causing inconsistent percentage readings. After one UI the battery life went back to OK, not as good as it was at first. However I still have tons of glitches in regards to reading my battery percentage. Once I hit the 15 marker the life is unpredictable, sometimes I put it in my pocket and walk to my bedroom a few meters away and when I got to plug it in, its dead, 15 to 0 in 10 seconds Or its 15 and I plug it in and as I do so I watch the battery fall, losing a percent every 4 seconds until it dies. Overall its a great experience I just wish the battery was more consistent. Before anyone asks Ive done everything there is to do to check if its an app or any issue with hardware

Ill break this up into two parts the Galaxy S9 and my experience with the seller. First, the phone was brand new, it was not old, refurbished, just new, in the box with all the wrappings and protections of a new phone. The seller shipped it quickly and packaged it well, and the price was super Next, the S9 is a great phone, but not excellent. The size is perfect, just slightly longer than my iPhone X, it fits comfortably in my large hands and Im able to onehand it easily. I dont like the rounded edge for multiple reasons people can see what youre looking more easily from the side, most cases dont protect the edge leaving it vulnerable to breakage, and it is sensitive to the touch, causing you to accidentally touch things that you didnt intend like turning a page on Kindle. The battery is only soso, I havent played around enough with settings, but on power saver it will last one day with gameplay, I hoped for a little better for example, my 1yo iPhone X lasts longer. The camera is excellent, it takes great lowlight pictures and super videos, it still has the video pause capability which I enjoy over the iPhone. All else is really good, a few quirks like the calendar not being able to parse recurring appointments easily biweekly, every 3rd Thursday, etc,and Bixby I havent used it, but the fact you cant program the raised button for an alternate action without activating Bixby is annoying. If you get the S9, enjoy, its a great phone

Perfect light weight little cell for my pocket and purse. I had a new Galaxy S21ULtra and it was too heavy and big to carry. Bigger is not better. This small phone has the latest updated technology features I need for weekly errands and overseas travel without worrying about breaking or losing it. Its too small to use everyday for work or classroom. I am disappointed the screen had a scratch on it.

The samsung s9 worked fine in the beginning which was bought in May. I cant believe 3 months later it stopped working. I did not drop it or submerged it in water or anything of that sort that may break it….It looks perfectly new. The problem started when the screen started to flash different colors and then completely showing some sort of green screen. After force reboot, it turned completely back and now it vibrates every 5 seconds. It wont even charge….geez Totally disappointed.

I got my Samsung s9 last February and loved it Previously had a Samsung s6 so comparatively the specs were amazing, loved the water resistant quality to it. The second day after I bought it I dropped it in the toilet by accident but had to go to work immediately which requires me to be available by phone so i had it turned off for maybe an hour then turned on the rest of the day and when I got home and immediately checked the water damage mark in the SIM card tray, was surprised to find it hadnt been affected at all The camera quality was amazing too taking pictures up to the same quality as any popular expensive DSLR camera The face recognition and side swiping features were intriguing, I loved how I could capture only parts of a screen by swiping from the right edge and visually its very appealing both in size and weight

Super fast and crisp high res screen that does everything I need. Twice the storage, RAM, camera resolution than the current A20 models. I can usually get 2 days out of battery. Android updated to current version. No bloatware on unlocked version. The only drawback was the unlocked version does not come with visual voicemail, yet there are other options like Youmail or InstaVoice. I did purchase a clear phone cover as the exposed screen appears to be more prone to breakage if dropped Samsung seems to have moved away from this design suggesting there were issues. I paired this with Mint Mobile 15mth plan and will save 240yr from my previous plan.

seems like samsung was more interested in ticking boxes rather than giving quality features to the phone. It shows off features like super slow motion, for example, but when super slow motion is actually in practice the camera quality decreases an insane amount. it started at a price of 720, and i believe that it absolutely unacceptable for an almost 1000 dollar device. the facial recognition on the device is very bad. and as for durability the fingerprint scanner has started to chip off. this august will mark the 2nd year ive had this phone. if you are planning on upgrading soon on after getting this device, then yes, i do believe it is sound for you. however, if you wish to have a longlasting, durable, experience, i recommended you either buy another product or wait until samsung improves upon key features instead of adding necessary ones.

I upgraded from the Samsung Galaxy S7 to the Samsung Galaxy S9 64GB when it first released. I choose the Lilac Purple version through Verizon and I was very excited to get my hands on it. The camera was a decent upgrade from what I had with the S7. It was not perfect, but I was able to take decent enough photos when I used the right camera settings. Since I had upgraded from the S7 I found the S9 to be easy to navigate and pretty straight forward in how the device operated. I loved that I was able to expand the storage with a Micro SD card. This saved me a lot of space with photos, music, and other files. All in all, this was a great phone and it lasted up until I decided to get the S20 recently.

This phone follows the Samsung Galaxy S8 that my husband wanted. It was out of stock so we bought this one. Its a bit narrower and a bit taller than the S8. Samsung makes great smartphones and this one is no exception. The sound is terrific and it takes beautiful pictures. We arent techie people and Im sure its capable of a lot more than we use it for. But we are very happy with it

I am not a fan of bloatware, a good example might be Bixby, but it can be minimized.A really great phone with one glaring flaw that I will be returning the phone for.On speakerphone, the mic sounds muffled and difficult to hear when in LTE. The phone must be placed into 2G or 3G setting for the mic to function normally.Essentially LTE is data and calls made via LTE are basically VOIP. With speakerphone selected the noise attenuating algorythm that minimises backround sound thus avoiding sending needless packets of data via LTE is too aggressive and is negatively impacting voice quality. There is currently no fix and Samsung has not recognised the issue. A simple Google search for speaker phone issues will tell you all u need to know.

Im an android girl and Ill always be an android girl. I am loyal to very few brands and Samsung is one of those few. I have been a Samsung customer for about ten years now and dont have any plans to deviate I will say I did upgrade this one a bit and went with the Plus variation. The bigger screen is much more movie watching friendly. I have been beyond happy with the options that you get with the phone. The only thing i think could use improvement is the camera. My husband and sons have apple and I think their photos come out better. Get an Otter Box Defender for the case if youre accident prone, like I am. I have dropped it a fair amount. The case makes it bulkier, sure, but Id rather have bulky then broken.

1. The rounded edge. The root cause of all the issues with this phone.A. The beautiful light hardware of the phone is pointless when I have had to put a tradie cover on the phone to protect the screen from cracking.B. Even with the chunky, ugly tradie cover, i have been shattering a glass cover every 2 months. This is not from dropping the phone but just by being in my handbag in its own pocket.C. The tempered glass covers we are required to buy make it impossible to see what you are taking photos of. All I can see is my reflection.D. The rounded edges have made the width smaller making it harder to type messages. Every second word i type is wrong because the keyboard is too small.E. The predictive text does not learn common words usedF. because of my chunky ugly tradie cover i can not use a wide angle or fisheye lens to take advantage of the awesome camera on. The Phone.SuggestBring back the flat screen for those of use who do not use the phone one handed, suspect.everyone sbove 35 years of age.Build in wide angle and fisheye lens into the camera.I will not be buying another samsung if you continue with the impractical round edge. I have been a samung user for over 10 years and this product has been a huge let downThe battery life is very poor

I have had this phone for 2.5 years and i CANNOT recommend it enough I have dropped this thing at least a thousand times over the last 2.5 years, dropped in water, this thing is bulletproof. When this one finally goes i will 110 purchase another. This is the LONGEST ive ever had a phone last, 2.5 years later with zero issues, no slowdown, NOTHING broken or bad on it, not even the charger port that wears out like most phones. I have over 5k pictures and 1k videos on it as well as TONS of apps and still cant come close to using all the space. Works almost as good as the day i got it and thats saying ALOT to me Bonus is when this one does finally go, they cost 14 of the price now then they did when i bought mine. Double score HIGHLY RECOMMEND. 1010

Superb capabilities, 6 gigs of RAM which is a big deal, gorgeous 6.2 super AMOLED display, really good camera, light and elegant cant say anything negative about it I bought myself one early in the year, love it so much that I got my brother this one a couple of months ago. Even though I bought it used, it performs flawlessly, a tribute to its build quality. Bro was shepherding me to get a largerscreen Chinese phone, but after looking at various reviews and the absence of them too new, lack of warranty for international phones, etc., etc., I couldnt go that route. We are both older, reasonably techsavvy, but on very limited incomes, so reliability was paramount. Prices have come down even more recently for this coupleofgenerations old powerhouse well, OK, no 5G, a further blessing. Bottom line HE LOVES IT, and I love mine

The phone turns on and works however, it has a software problem that factory resetting wont fix. Theres no way they didnt see this. OMADM is a utility used to push firmware updates to some devices. On this device, the update doesnt work but the phone keeps trying to complete the update, pausing whatever application Im using at the time. It cannot be disabled and it does it all day long. All day long. This is my second purchase of something refurbished from walmart.com and Ive been disappointed both times. Its not Walmart, its the providers selling crap.

Like many mothers my phone is my main tool for documenting my familys life. As well as being a mum Im also an IT consultant so my phone quickly becomes a critical tool when Im away from my desk. With all these things in mind the S9 has been great so far. Its amazing crisp clear screen spews off the lovely photos it takes. I didnt think Id be overly fussed by the edge but Im completely sold. Fits really nicely into the hand and theres something very pleasing about the screen going all the way to the edge.Taking photos is easy if you just use auto everything sorts itself out but the power of the pro mode means I find fewer and fewer rests to drag my DSLR round with me. The added comfort of being able to store everything on my SD casts means Im not worried about losing everything when I eventually have to upgrade again. From an IT point of view the specs are great and running all the apps I need for work is yet to slow down the processor even in developer mode. I can get to the end of the day and even 10pm at night and still have battery power left. Something my S7 could not guarantee. The new edge panel apps are a cool creation and Im enjoying using them especially for reminders. New features Im not so sure on are Bixby and its dedicated button just below the volume down button. The number of times I have accidentally hit this is a bit annoying. Ive turned off Bixby as its not really for me but now the button is a bit of a waste.Overall though the S9 is a great tool great screen and camera. Lovely feel in the hand and a bit classy with the metal casing.

The s9 DOESNT have a big 9 on the back.. but the details arent really important are they The phone I received came with a generic charger that gets REALLY MELTING HOT. Seriously, it melted. An adapterto transfer from old phone wouldve been cool, but nope. The speaker is blown or something, I cant understand anything thats being said. Just the high frequency chirps. The last users apps and games were still installed… maybe Ill find more of their belongings. This has been yet another huge mistake, buying anything refurbished from walmart. I dont know whether to pit my hands up or bend over.Thanks. My poor butt takes another hit.

Phone is not at all worth what you pay for it… bought this phone three months ago it no longer works… was in water proof, shock proof case from day one. Battery is absolutely terrible 8 hours at best. Battery died one day and now it will not turn on at all.. goes in a loop cutting on until it gets to the unlock screen wont allow me to enter my code then restarts… over and over. So five hundred dollars plus a sixty dollar case phone doesnt make it three months… advertised an amazing camera but its mediocre at best.. and like I mentioned absolute worst battery life on any phone Ive ever had. After this terrible waste of money i will never buy another Samsung product.

I just got it today and used it all day there were no scratches a screen protector was already in so it saves AND the phone was unlocked and factory resetted like new there was not a single problem and the finger print scanner worked wonders its like it was never refurbished it was new I recommend this to anyone it was worth the 166 it took and I got a case in with the purchase and they didnt let me down iam so happy I got it I couldnt ask for anything other than this phone doesnt act up and it charges well so blessed

One of the best phones i used. Has a great camera but not very easy to use if you are a beginner. Has alot of different settings and customisations to go through. Portrait mode also called live focus is not accurate and needs good ambient lighting to use. Normal camera gives good quality photos and the pictures have great clarity. User friendliness of the device itself is good. Very smooth and easy to use. Size makes it difficult to use one handed. But can get used to it with time. Fingerprint sensor is one of the best out there. In less than a second of touching the sensor the device gets unlocked. Looks very sleek and feels good to hold. Looks worth its price. Overall one of the bes samsung Galaxy S9 64GB Verizon t phones to have.

I bought this phone back in 2018, at first it was an amazing phone with no issues and then came the updates in 2019, since then Ive had problem after problem with this phone. First off the battery has never been good with this phone. It dies after like 2 hours after using a couple of apps this is when it was brand new but I didnt mind back then. Second problem after an update my gps went haywire and changed my location when driving which is very dangerous. It would have me on a completely different road in the gps and then teleports me back to my original location after awhile. My third problem is bixby, please just get rid of the bixby button. You have to do so much just to disable that stupid bixby button that no one uses. My fourth problem is that over a month the August 2020 update had me stuck on 3g network. Just recently I finally got this fixed….a week later, which is this current week, my phone cant send text messages. If its not one thing its another. Im just done and tired of this phone or whoever makes these updates that breaks phones. Im definently not buying another Galaxy phone again. At least with Iphone not all of their updates are trash like Galaxys. I just came on here to rant badly about this phone because it deserves the bashing.

I received the package yesterday and immediately brought it to my girlfriend because it was her suprise birthday present and to my embarrassment it didnt work. It didnt turn on so i figured it needed to be charged but when i plugged the charger in and it did one long vibrate like normal and then instead of showing the image of the charging battery the screen stayed black and the phone started doing short but aggressive vibrations non stop. I tried differnt chargers and i tried letting it charge a long time. Nothing i tried work so now i look like a fool to my girlfriend. Thanks

I bought a Samsung Galaxy S9 last year with Straight Talk Wireless. It works pretty good. It has held up really nice. Ive dropped it several times and shes still going strong. I like the size of the screen. Its clear and the touch screen isnt too sensitive. The camera is good quality. You can add a memory card for extra space. The speaker quality is amazing. I dont have to add a speaker when Im at home. Im a Samsung Galaxy person. What can I say

The phone itself works good for phone calling and receiving texts. The internet is good as well. The Bixby button ruins my day sometimes as Im constantly hitting it accidentally when trying to take a screenshot. That being said, the camera on this thing is the absolute WORST THING I HAVE EVER TRIED TO USE. If you take a picture of an inanimate object outside in the sun they turn out great. Indoor pictures are horrific. They look like something a toddler camera would produce or worse. NEVER try and take a picture of something living, the shutter is SO SLOW that if the subject moves in the smallest slowest way it will blur and look repulsive. Im so beyond frustrated with the camera. Ive looked up videos and read the manual to try and fix my problems with no luck.Bottom line, only buy this phone if you are NEVER planning on using the camera on anything besides inanimate and well lit subjects .

The phone had a lot of scratches and a deep one on the back of the phone. It also had a lot of old crust on it when I received it. The phone would get extremely hot and die within a few hours. While at work I would have to charge it on my breaks without even using it in between. I reached out to the seller about a week ago to start a return and they never responded. I had to reach out to Walmart support and was advised to take it into the store for a refund. I will be doing this today. Please steer clear, look into other options.

This is the first Android phone Ive ever used and it took months to get used to. I decided to make the switch from iPhone because the S9 is lighter than the iPhone XR and it still has a headphone jack, which I was pretty adamant about. Now that Ive gotten more comfortable with the features on the S9 there are several things I love about it more than the iPhone For one, the notifications stay on the lock screen until youve decided to exit out of them, so if youve received a notification that you dont have time to deal with, you can leave it on the lock screen to remind you to come back to it later. I also love the clipboard which lets you copy different text and photos onto one saved screen so you theyre all in one place, rather than only being able to paste the last thing you copied. Another amazing feature is that it will save your unfinished text messages at the top of your messages screen with a note next to it that reminds you to finish the message There are a few more but those are the ones I really love. The only two things I reeeeeally miss about the iPhone the keyboard and iMessage. The keyboard on the iPhone is just significantly better than the Samsung ones, even though you can download all different kinds from the internet none of them are as good as the iPhone. And iMessage just cant be beat. I really cant stand that Im not able to participate in iMessage group chats anymore Its so frustrating. Otherwise, I love the S9.

I am overall very pleased with this product, I am a little disappointed by the battery life as it does run down quite quickly. However I am unsure if this is normal in an S9 as my previous phone was quite old. A few scratches and marks as expected but nothing that effects the performance of the phone. Have recommended using this service to others already and will agian. Arriced efficiently and without too much packaging. A great way to environmentally and cost effectively buy a new phone

I will never again in my life pay 700 for a phone. I have had an issue with my apps and the play store on this phone since I got it over a year ago. Was instructed by my carrier to send it to Samsung, so I did and was told there wasnt any issues found. I have not had that issue with any other phone Ive had with my carrier, but this one has done more than left me unsatisfied. My carrier would only replace it if Samsung said there was an issue, but Ive been stuck with this 700 phone and an issue that wasnt ever resolved. I had a Galaxy J7 prior to the S9 and it didnt have any issues until the end and I certainly didnt have issues with my apps on it. I was so excited the day I was able to order this phone, but was nothing short of disappointed with the issue I was having from day one. Yes, I did everything that was suggested to no avail. Guess I will be paying it off and having to replace it already. Very upset with this expensive product. For other features, it was great, but if you purchase this product, make sure it works correctly or return it ASAP

Took my 14ish month old S9 in due to the battery underperforming. I explained that it was at the lower end of the range, and cited a very specific example where it dropped from 22 2 with next to no use in under 30mins. Was told 2448hrs to send it away and get it fixed under warranty. 4 days later and no text to the alternate number given, or email, I went in and it had been sitting there for 2 days ready for pick up. It was explained that the battery was charged to 100, and had dropped to 98 in 30min which was normal and they hadnt replaced it, had done a software update. I was pretty annoyed as this wasnt the problem, I specifically explained that it was the bottom end of the battery range which was dropping too fast, the first 50 seems normal. Beyond that, to lose my phone for double the time I was quoted and not get any fix was just infuriating. With my work I cant really do without it. So Im stuck with a shoddy battery and no way to get it fixed. Poor form, Ill get an iPhone next.

I absolutely LOVED this phone My favorite feature on it was the camera which took amazing photos both portrait and landscape. When you were taking selfies it had a beauty feature which allowed you to slim your face as well as smooth and brighten your skin tone so it was like having a snapchat filter built into your phone. Plus It charged so fast and held a charge really well. Unfortunately I did break the screen which took numerous drops and had to downgrade but I would absolutely buy again

The far left side of my screen is unresponsive to natural taps so I need to press down. However, Im sure it was just a mishap.Other con There are many scratches but not noticeable at all while you use it. Its still so pretty otherwise.Pros I really love my phone. The battery life is great and great software performance.I definitely recommend this seller. Best service compared to every other seller Ive seen.

OMG I love this thingStepped up from S7 to the S9 recently and although I havent used it to its full extent, still finding new things every day, it is by far the best model. It has everything one would want, and more.I am a Real Estate agent so use the phone a heck of a lot and reliability is a must. This is definitely one I can trust. One thing I would have liked to have kept from the S7 is the fingerprint scanner on the front as it was particularly useful when driving as it was easy to unlock the screen to make calls by putting your finger over the button when its in the holder.Yes this model has a fingerprint scanner too, but its on the back and not always possible to reach in the driving position. Im sure its Ok any other time mind youThe S9 does have the facial recognition which i have it set too and think it is an excellent option for all around use. Tap the home button a couple times and let the phone scan you for a brief moment and youre away.Sometimes while driving it doesnt always recognize me though, particularly if the sun is streaming on me or the phone. These are just minor issues for me, and are obviously personal preferences, but the S9 has so many other amazing features that make up for this.I am totally in love with everything about this phone and would highly recommend it to anyone. The graphics, the speed, the size, the cameras front and rear, storage space and those braided headphones are just terrific, and not once has this phone gotten hot unlike some previous models. Im just loving Bixby and Bixby eye tooCheers Samsung, you have outdone yourself again.

I purchased this phone outright in May 2019. The phone began to run hot and cut off on me within 6 months. I barely had any apps. I was approved through SmartPay in July for an amount that only allowed me to purchase this same phone. I took the chance, maybe thinking it was only a dud. Well here it is Sept. 8, all the color is gone from the phone One side is totally black. The other side looks like color ink from a printer when the color is running out. Buyers beware of this phone

This phone is my favorite Samsung yet. Its fast and reliable. Ive had the 3, 5, 7, and 8 and this is my favorite. The layout of the phone is amazing. You have the usual samsung customization, but its a bit more user friendly for your average person. Theres not to many huge changes form the previous model, just more speed and reliability. The fingerprint scanner is the biggest change. Its on the back of the phone. Its very convenient since its right where youd rest your hand when you pick it up. Makes unlocking effortless.I gave this phone 4 starts because theres a defect in the screen. The pins of the LCD dislodge incredibly easily. Its a small defect but if they dislodge the phone screen becomes unresponsive and the part is rather expensive to replace. As long as you dont go throwing your phone down generally its fine.

I ordered my Galaxy s9 from Straight Talk and only had it about a week before a purplepink vertical line appeared on the screen after I woke up one day. I never dropped it or scratched it either. Ive always had Samsung Galaxy phones and this if the first time I have ever had an issue with them. Apparently, its a manufacturing defect that has been happening to peoples phones for the past few years now and its ridiculous that Samsung still hasnt fixed this issue. I told Straight Talk about this and they mailed a Fedex packet last week for me to send my phone back to them. After they received my phone, they will send a new replacement phone. They received my phone and now the new one has been processing for shipment since yesterday and hopefully they ship it to me today or tomorrow It takes 13 days to process a phone to be shipped

This is by far the worst phone I have ever bought. I usually buy unlocked used phones because I dont want to spend so much on an expensive phone. I decided to buy a new phone and chose this one. Battery life is terrible, it constantly detects moisture, it only will charge wirelessly and it will not send picture messages. You have to jump through hoops to get any kind of help and forget about the warranty. They will not cover it if it had any kind of moisture exposure. This phone must not like the humidity here in Florida. It has never seen water, yet it constantly detects moisture. Really Worst phone and the company has failed me.

I got the S9 after having 7 years of Sony Xperia phones and decided I needed something flagship.Overall, I am hugely impressed. The phone is a massive step up from my previous device in every area, especially the camera, better life, screen quality, and responsiveness of… Well everything. While it does perform very well, there are a few things that are taking a bit to get used so as someone who has never owned a Samsung device. The curved screen, for one, is something that I reallydont understand once I got it. I dont know if its just my device, but looking at it straight on there tends to be an impact on the image quality as the screen curved away. Not to mention this curved part is nowhere near as responsive as the rest of the screen so its not even useable. All it really succeeds in doing is making screen protectors hard to deal with.Bixby, Ill be honest I havent even set up yet. I havent felt the need to have something else do things for me. And why bother when I can ask Ok Google. Theres a lot of other Samsung branded bloatware on the device which is well optimised but results in a lot of double ups which you cant get rid of. This is true of most devices though, Id just not had to deal with putting it all off in a random folder for a while. While the S9 may not be the biggest step up in the Galaxy family or so Im told, it is certainly a decent phone. I wouldnt say that it has any stand out features that would make you buy it over another like the infinity display or turning yourself into an emoji… But the beauty of this phone is that it is a fantastic all round phone. It runs above and beyond what I expected of it but for something that doesnt necessarily stand out, it is a bit pricey. But Ive come to think of it as a wise investment as this phones are becoming less and less different between New models, youre no longer buying a phone for one year.

I am over all pleased with my s9. Features are incredible. This is my first galaxy series phone Ive ever ownedI usually get the cheaper phones but they never last more than 6 months. So I decided to get something nice for a change. The last nice phone I owned was the note 4. And I will say Id much rather have the out dated note 4 over the s9. The awesome features are not worth having if the phone is not duable. I used to drop my note4 with the so called gorilla glass 3 in my gravel drive way face down on jagged rocks all the time and it never got a single scratch or crack on it. I put this s9 which is supposed to have gorilla glass 4 in my pocket on the first day I got it and it already got scratch up. It fell off my night stand 3 feet maybe 2 feet off the ground once and it messed up the metal edge. I dropped it once from about a foot and half of the ground as I was bending over to stop my dog from running out the front door and it completely obliterate my back glass. This glass on this phone is worthless. . I feel like they did this on purpose to force people to file their insurance claims. My husband has the s8 and his phone broke as well shortly after he got it. And like 3 days after he got his new one . With a case and screen protector on it he had it at work sitting on his tool box. And some how it just broke. He didnt touch it or drop it. He had the same problem with his s5 and s6 as well. The screen just constantly broke. Weve never had this issue with any phone that was not an S series. Even with all the cheap phones I had it was the phone itself that would go out before the screen would actually break and I dropped phones on a constant basis with or without phone cases. I got this phone because it was supposed to be the best. I should not have to pay a 200 some odd insurance claim for a phone that is not what its supposed to be. And not to mention I did have a screen protector on the front of my phone and my front screen cracked as well. This phone couldnt even handle a one and a 12 to 2 drop. But other than that I think this phone is incredible I just think that they should update the glass .

One of the selling features of the S9 is its water proof. Up to 1meter for up to 30mins is Samsungs claim. Dropped mine into sink of rinsing water and retrieved it within 5 secs. Phone kept going so didnt think anymore about it. Next day it stopped and the response from the Samsung shop where I bought it. The guarantee is only for pure water and from the corrosion it has been dropped in impure water What is pure water Distilled water Obviously not water from the tap so you can forget about thinking you are protected if you accidentally left it in your pocket when wading in the ocean

this phone came out in march 2018 as the pride of samsung. in mid 2020, it continues being fast and powerful, capable of handling all kinds of tasks. however, for its price, one expects a flagship deliver allaround good performance for several years. and this is not what my phone did.major drawbacks my camera would unexpectedly fail with the message unfortunately, the camera app failed. it appears it was a software issue with overloaded cache. you had to restart the phone. after little more than two years, out of warranty, my screen cannot display anything. it is completely black and unusable by itself. this is partially solved by an app, but it drastically loses color accuracy and its viability as gps guidance. repairing it costs 250.

Bought this phone when it was released circa March 2018. Having owned Samsung devices before, I had been debating to purchase an iPhone for a change of scenery to the android OS.I stuck with my gut extinct and remained loyal with Samsung. The S9 has served me extremely well for almost 3 years. I have had no softwarehardware issues. The phone has been in a case for the first 2 years. Even with no case, it seems to be well built and has taken a lot of impacts. 3 years later and the phone is still well speced. I would consider myself a big techy with working in the IT Industry the S9 ticks all the boxes. Samsung updates no issues, unlike competitors in which updates can take a huge toll on performance degradation. To conclude, an excellent device from Samsung. I will most likely upgrade to the S20. Not that I need to just a want

I bought this phone about a month ago when my poor LG Stylo 5 bit the big one on me. Ill be the first to admit that anything with Reconditioned I tend to avoid. But I was on a very tight budget and definitely needed to spend 100 less than the new prices was for these babies. The phone itself works great, I have no problems with storage, or the speed at which it runs. The bixby button kind of annoys me, they probably could have put it a little lower down the side of the phone, because I tend to sometimes hit it when holding my phone to use the power button. But that might just be me.The only real gripe I have with this phone, and the reason I only gave 4 stars, is the battery life of this phone. Now, I have no way to tell if this is a problem with the Reconditioned part or the Galaxy S9 in general. But the batter drains pretty fast compared to phones I had in the past. With minimal use, my phone will go down to 50. I havent had a heavyuse day with this phone yet, but Im sure it would be dead before the day was over if I dont charge it.

This is a great phone. I have a small hand so lots of smartphones are awkward for me to handle but this phone fits snugly into my grip. There is no wasted space around the edge of the screen. It was straightforward to set up with clear instructions on how to import contacts, data etc from my previous Samsung Galaxy. Easy to use, good battery life and a really good camera. I have had it for a month now and am very happy with it.

I have had this phone for almost two years. I have been a galaxy fan since the first one, however this will be my last. I hate that galaxy modifies the standard android version with their own tweaks, I hate that each upgrade resets the settings I have in place, I especially hate this last upgrade which makes every app I use drain the battery really fast and makes the phone super hot. I hate that each upgrade locates some settings in a different place than they were before. I do not like the new icons, I feel they look cartoonish. I also dislike the auto correct function because it substitutes words that make no sense when I have typed the correct word. I will keep the phone until it dies because it was expensive, but will not buy another.

When this came out I was so obsessed with its infinity edge display. It was really setting the standard for the industry. It also had amazing sound. The camera was also fantastic, really brought out the saturation in images. The front camera not so much, I think Samsung has always struggled with a good front face camera. Nonetheless theyre always innovating and setting standards.

Pros Pretty good in general, battery life very good. Fast performance. Camera is really good, including low light much better in my view than the muchpraised Huawei P30 Pro. The Android implementation is well thought out and I like the high number of apps possible on the home screen, the 5 selectable apps on the bottom of every screen and extra common ones on the editable side bar.Cons Pretty slow to start or restart, can take minutes. The curved screen makes selecting characters or options on the edge quite tricky and the screen is not as touch sensitive as previous Galaxys. One day well be able to give titless to each home screen. Screen protectors are tricky to apply effectively and screen does scratch quite easily. I would love to disable selfies, particularly the swipe form Photo, as its very easy to get into selfie mode when zooming and lose a real image. Its also too easy to move accidentally between camera modes like Photo to Video.

Love my Samsung phone This is my third one. I am an Android user for sure. So many more options I still have yet to upgrade this phone because there is not a thing wrong with it. Great speed, great customization options. I have another, less expensive brand Android tablet, and can definitely see what that brand is missing. Highly recommend to others.

I like my Galaxy S9. I upgraded from the S5, which lasted me a good while. The camera on the S9 is really nice. Apps open quickly. The screen is a good size but not too enormous. Some of the operating system features are counterintuitive or dont make sense. Despite being somewhat tech savvy, I cant get used to having to use the interface to turn my phone to silent mode. I am used to being able to switch into silent mode by just using the side buttons for volume, but all this does is adjust media volume. Annoying and then my phone goes off at inappropriate times. Bixby is quite useless and annoying also. It has its own side button, so I often accidentally activate sometimes. The one thing that makes me nervous is when the system updates overnight and the phone restarts. I have to have encryption, and the phone stays at boot up until I enter a passcode. Then my alarm doesnt go off. Seems like a design flaw. Other than that, I like this phone a lot and would recommend it to others. Defunitely need a phone case to protect the screen. I have dropped the phone several times with screen still intact. I purchased my S9 new from Samsung and did a trade in. It was expensive but worth it since it seems like it would last if youre someone who takes care of their devices.

I had this phone for a while and it has been giving me problems since the beginning. Every time it updates something goes wrong. One update was pushed so I couldnt read my calendar, calculator, or settings. Another update was pushed out and my apps were completely erased. One time my phone woke me up at three in the morning saying that there was water in charging port even though it had been charging for six hours and has not been close to water. After the water dried the notification went away and I could charge my phone. A few weeks later it gave the same notification again even though it had not been anywhere near water. After doing research I found a way to disable the setting, but then once again a new update came out and the setting was permanently enable to notify and disable charging when there is water in my charging port. Ive been doing research and using trixie to get said water out of my phone but it hasnt worked.Ive been waiting for the opportunity to get it fixed. In the mean time I have been wirelessly charging my phone. A few days later the notification went away and I was able to charge my phone again, and then one day the charger port completely died. My screen also has a hard time registering my touch and sometimes registers my touch in places where I havent touched. Usually this can be fixed by wiping my screen but sometimes this dosent work.

I am a die hard Apple person. All my desktop computers at home are Apple, my other 4 family members all have iPhones and we have laptops that are all Apple. Not really sure why I decided to try out the Samsung Galaxy S9 but happy that I did so far. I was using a 4 12 year old iPhone 5s so I figured any phone would be a huge upgrade to the modern world. It still takes a little getting used to coming from the IOS systems way of doing things. I do lose the capability of iMessage and FaceTime. Not a huge deal and I can use the DUO app from Google which is the same as FaceTime. The key points with this phone are that the large and beautiful screen looks great. I like the haptic feel of the keys when texting how you feel the keys being pressed a little buzzvibration. I think the new iPhone X does this too but again, Im coming from a 5s. My only two choices for a new phone were this S9 or keep on with Apple and get an iPhone X. The X would have cost me 1150 plus an AppleCare warranty for 200. I got this Samsung and got the Ultimate Play Bundle for 840 plus 100 for the bundle. Took out a Square Trade 2 year warranty for 108 with only a 99 deductible should I need to use it. I have used Square Trade warranties in the past for other products and they have always replaced and stood by their guarantee. Square Trade is owned by Allstate so I have confidence in them. Getting back to the phone, the S9 seems to work VERY fast when loading apps and pages. I use it for a lot of my wireless products at home Nest thermostat, wireless cameras, LIFX lights, Liftmaster garage door opener and all work fast and flawlessly. The audio when playing music sounds great. Plays very loud and clear for a phone. I like the fact that it does still have an earphone jack. I like the Android system as it comes with Google Assistant voice command. Most people hate the Bixby feature on this phone. My only real gripe with it is the large button on the left side of the phone and that when trying to adjust the phone volume I accidentally hit Bixby sometimes. I do like though that is voice activated. I get in my car in the morning, speak to wake up Bixby and command it to open up whatever app I need usually Waze. Once open, I speak to Waze to take me to work. All of this without having to look at my phones screen or take my eyes off the road. Also, the Bixby AI camera function is very cool too. There are about 8 or 9 different things it can do with the camera. Like, point the camera lens at a sign in a foreign language and have it live translate the sign to English or any other language on the phone and there are plenty of them on this phone. Point it at food and it will tell you what it is and average calorie count. Point it at a wine bottle label and it will give you the information on the wine type, year, etc…. The ONLY thing I think I will never use again and of course I tried it out is the Animoji of myself or any of my friends. Its scary weird. Everyone looks the same on this. I would personally like to see an update to the phone where they fix this to be more of a 3D type and look more realistic. I have been looking online for days at comparisons of the pictures taken on this phone compared to others. Mot notably the iPhone X. In my opinion, the X does do a lot of pix better. The contrast is usually better. The real advantage to this phone is it tends to overexpose a bit. So, dark scenes will look a bit brighter than on the iPhone X. The only thing I had to get used to is the colors on a Samsung phone are very oversaturated. Colors are very bright. There is a setting in display function that gives you 4 options of view. I turned it down to one of them and it now looks a LOT more realistic. I like the fact that this phone, as well as the iPhone X, features ability to record video at 4K 60fps. Looks great. On the Samsung though the optical stabilization doesnt work when shooting 4K 60fps. Keep a steady hand and this isnt an issue. For all other video formats, the stabilization on the Samsung works better than the X. All in all, I am happy I went with the Samsung. In a few months if I regret it, I can always keep it for a few months and sell it to get the new larger iPhone X Plus.

I have had some problems with this phone. I would rather have my Pixel back. The screen cannot help but get cracked at the edges, even in a case There is so much extra software that comes on this phone that is just not needed. The earbuds are good quality. I do like the USB type C charger because it charges so quickly. The cameras could be better. The selfie camera has randomly autozoomed for the rest of time so that it is impossible to take photos of two people without cutting out half of each. I am so frustrated with it, but it does work for phonecalls, watching videos, surfing the web, and social media. Gaming is ok, but could benefit from a larger screen. Blue light filter really helps Oh, and the battery life is not good at all.

samsung provides a solid, stable experience in a phone thatll fit the needs of most buyers.ive never used a phone so responsive and fast. ive owned the s9 for over two years now and its had no hiccups.i have heard a lot of people mention that samsungs constantly giving update notifications and out of space, but i have yet to run into either of these problems.the only real critique i have is the same one i had for the previous model, that you need to go out and get both a case and screen protector asap unless your hands are made of suction cups.

The last system update all but deleted the Samsung Notes content on this phone I use this feature a lot and save a lot of important things in there and with the latest update, when you go to open an individual note, its completely blank even though I can still see a small portion of the content in the thumbnail view. The only way I can view the note in its entirety is to email it to myself and open at that way. Please fix thisIve had this phone for over a year now and one of the features that sold me was the camera which I find to be probably its greatest feature. However, the camera has become extremely slow to focus and, not sure why. Ive missed some extraordinary shots because of this.

upgraded from an s5.battery life was okay, an upgrade from the s5. camera is fantastic. phone has a bunch of features which are cool, but i dont necessary use. love the audio makes the phone worth getting just for that.dont like the curved screen, requires more maintenance to keep it clean, miss the flat screen. screenshots for some reason are worse on the s9 than s5, they come off as blurry.

I bought this phone at the end of last summer. Like all my phones, I immediately put it in a case. It has served me very well and continues to do so but like many others I have just now realized via a short internet search my camera screen is now broken. I reached in my pocket a few days ago but felt something off. The glass that covered my camera was shattered. It look like a small bullet or something shot it though there was nothing else in my pocket to have done so.The Big ConThe primary reason I bought this phone was as an upgrade to its camera capabilities. With the lens gone, I currently have a piece of clear tape over where the glass used to be however that makes it hard to take pictures as you can imagine. This seems a major flaw in the phone and as far as Ive been able to understand from samsung.com that because it is physical damage it is not covered under the one year warranty.I teach high school science and we are currently under strict quarantine in the state Im in. As our schools quickly adopted an online format I was hoping to start using my phone to record videos of me to stay in touch with my students as theres more versatility on it compared to my schoolloaned Chromebook. Sadly Im not sure what to do next outside of buying a new phone. The ProsOutside of the issue I am facing, the phone works well as a typical smart phone. With the camera covered up Im not too worried about dust making its way into the phone and it is still functioning as a smart phone just fine.I can access my school emails quickly and successfully, its awesome at surfing the web, and 64 GB of storage sure beats the 32 I had on my previous phone.I play a handful of games on my phone. They all run smoothly and I dont believe Ive encountered any moments where my phone has crashed due to activity.I love the phone but I cant help but be heartbroken at the moment. I would highly recommend the phone to anyone who does not mind the highthannormal risk of losing your camera capabilities the way I did.

Never heard of Swappa until I moved to TMobile last month. Wanted upgrade from S8, TMobile and 600mhz compatible, eligible for Android 10, and savings. Happily surprised from beginning. Loved detailed site UI, devices available, ability to communicate with staff, seller. Read good reviews, perceived transparency from Swappa, generally assured about technical knowledge. Signing up easy, purchase process fluid. Received S9 in week.Have had it for part of seven days. Looks great. Loved that it came with glass protector. Now wears Unicorn Beetle Pro case. No issues setting up. Went through Checklist for after receiving phone. No hiccup todate. Not blacklisted, no apparent moisture damage per indicator in device. Arrived with small dent on edge of camera lens. I have photo Can barely notice it, unless you pass finger over it. Doesnt seem to affect camera.Phone faster, more responsive. Better battery, camera. Love features not in S8. Hope to have it two years. Satisfied so far.

For some background, Ive been a loyal Samsung customer for upwards of about 8 years, using the Galaxy phones since the Galaxy S5. Ive had a good experience with them over those years, and always recommended them because they were great phones with nice features, good build quality, and a competitive price relative to the other flagship phones out there.Unfortunately, when my S9 should have been covered for a warranty repairreplacement, they voided my warranty, and sent me a ridiculous repair bill. For context, I dropped my phone in a sink, and got it out pretty much a second or two after it fell in. The IP68 rating that Samsung touts should have protected the phone, but it stopped working, so then I had to jump though a few hoops to get it sent off to Samsung. Before sending it off, the Samsung reps I spoke to said that my warranty should handle it, as I only had my phone for about 9 months.Sadly, that wasnt the case, and Samsung shamelessly not only billed me an absurd amount for the repair, but also sent my still broken phone back to me with its back glass not fully attached. So here I am now, STUCK WITH PAYING OFF A BRICKED PHONE that was haphazardly put back together, and wondering if brand loyalty and customer service and warranties and HONEST ADVERTISINGSPECS mean anything to these companies. I suspect not, but Ive had plenty of people tell me their great stories of customer service from the other big name brands, and even smaller brands. I myself have even seen this now, because I went and got myself a phone from my local electronics store for A FRACTION of the price 13 to be exact, and have gotten better service from the manufacturer starts with an M and ends in ola even without anything happening to the phone Not to mention that it literally does 99 of everything just as well as the Galaxy S9.Samsung beware, these other companies are gonna eat your lunch if you keep this upAnd buyers beware, dont blindly trust big companies without proof that they care, because YOU DONT MEAN ANYTHING TO THEM OTHERWISE. They got plenty of sheep to buy their shiny new stuff all day long when it comes out, so us mindful consumers are out here to fend for ourselves

I am going to start this review off by saying I absolutely love this phone, however it does have a few small compromises but theyre by no means deal breakers. I bought this phone in October after owning iPhones for some time, and am happy with the experience so far. The screen is excellent as has always been the case with Samsung phones, the app selection rivals what is found on iOS and it has IP68 water resistance which is handy if I get caught in the rain on my commute home from work. I was surprised to discover that the Galaxy S9 has a slightly weaker battery than my iPhone X however this could be remedied by purchasing the Galaxy S9 or the Note 9 which is similar to the S9 with a few extra features which has a larger battery. I often find myself giving the phone a quick top up before I head out for the evening as the battery doesnt usually make it past 6pm. This is mostly painless though as Samsung includes a fast charger in the box unlike Apple where you have to buy a fast charger separately. The other small issue I have with this phone is how long Samsung takes to release software updates. For example, the S9 is still running Android 8 Oreo even though Android Pie has been out for some months. This has always been an issue with Samsung and will hopefully be fixed with Project Treble an attempt by Google to push software updates to more phones quicker. I wouldve liked to see pure Android on this flagship instead of a skinned version. Like I said at the beginning of this review, the things I have mentioned above are not deal breakers, and would certainly not stop me from recommending this phone to anyone. What I like The camera pictures are always sharp and detailed, just like they were on my old iPhone X Software kind of Samsung has really cleaned up their Android skin over the past year USB C Everything is beginning to adopt USB C which means carrying around fewer cables Wireless charging very convenient, especially when its dark IP68 water resistance Handy when I get caught in the rain on my commute home Powerful CPU and plenty of RAM If it wasnt for uni, I could potentially get away with using this as my primary computing device Something else worth mentioning is how Samsung bundled a free pair of JBL noise cancelling headphones, worth nearly 400 with the phone a worthy extra. Overall, I have no hesitation in recommending this phone to those who want the best of all worlds. However if youre a heavy user someone who uses their phone for 12 hours per day, Id recommend the S9 or the Note 9 as they both have larger batteries.

I am a 51 year old male. Ive been a devoted consumer of Galaxy S smartphones since GS3. For me, the Galaxy S line has always presented the perfect combination of elegance and flexibility to customize the phones. I recently purchased a Galaxy S9 and received it a few days ago. It is stunningly beautiful, and when I turned it on, I immediately fell in love with it it was everything I expected. I couldnt have been happier and was very satisfied with my purchase until I completed all the updates and ended up with One UI. I could not have been more disappointed, especially with the icons. All the nonSamsung icons look just as they did before, clean, professional, and mature. But the Samsung icons and the colors look like they are designed for a child, a very young child, and they are not aesthetically pleasing at all. The best thing about the phone now, is not unlocking the screen. In Contacts, there are too many colors for the bubbles and the colors are kids colors. There was nothing wrong with the wire frame bubbles everything does not have to pop with color, adults use phones too. Last, but not least, it seems the settings have been streamlined too much to the point where you cant even remove or hide things like the silly stickers icon which also seems like is for a child in the message space in Samsungs message app the smiley icon used to be there. I dont know if the settings were removed, or theyre actually there, and discovery of them just isnt as intuitive as before. I want to be able to customize to my liking as in the previous versions. I cant express my displeasure with One UI enough. I hate to say it, but the now, since the update, the phone feels like an iPhone. If I wanted an iPhone I wouldve bought an iPhone. I recently listened to a very well known tech podcast, and the host used language very similar to mine about what I now know is One UI in his description of the GS10 UI. I didnt think much about it because I thought it was probably specific to the GS10 and not the GS9 I was getting he was right.Since Ive been Galaxy S fan, I never thought about buying a phone from another brand until now. Ive seen many reviews and comments, and there are a lot of others that feel the same way I do about One UI. Samsung please, please pay attention to what we are saying You make the best, most beautiful and mature hardware, and your user interface and software has to match it.

I had higher hopes for this phone. This phone is like someone had an idea that changed the good qualities about the galaxy. I upgraded from my s6, which started to not work anymore, and I actually wish I could go back to using my s6. The battery life is good but its already starting to not last as long. I had to charge it every other day for the first week and now its every day. The normal camera is good but the selfie camera is awful and not compatible with other apps like snapchat or Instagram, it is super zoomed. When using the selfie mode after taking the picture it zooms in even more on regular selfie mode and widens on couple selfie mode. When I first got the phone I had issues with the voicemail as well, it wasnt set up correctly to the app, which Ive never had happen to any other phone and Ive only had androids. Screenshots and Bixby are easily takenturned on by accident with the button placements. The custom emoji is not that great either, not enough options to actually make it custom my bitmoji looks more like me so I just continue to use that instead. The device is more narrow and tall which I think makes it harder to hold than my previous phone and the screen quality is odd because of the curved edges.
GERTRUDE –
I didnt give 5 stars because of a couple minor differences. The one difference that surprised me by how much it annoys me is how difficult it is to capture a screenshot with a palm swipe. It has to be exactly right or it wont. It shouldnt take multiple trys. The placement of the Bixby button is also mildly annoying. I havent set up Bixby yet because I wanted to be more familiar with the phone itself before I tried out the fancy features. The last two minor things, my s7 hadbattery and clock face in easy to read at a glance when unlocked, on the s9 I have to look a little closer. Really minor things, but those minor things have me missing my s7. The s9s battery life is fantastic I like the slightly smaller size, fits better in my pocket. Looking forward to exploring this phones potential.

I bought my phone about 2 years ago, and when you buy a phone that it is years model, you expect it to last at least 3 years while functioning okay.My phones battery started draining faster and faster, and these days, I cant go out for 2 hours and have the battery last that long. While the funny thing is, other competing companys issue other phones on the same year as Samsung Galaxy S9 and their phones batteries live longer I know that because my brother have the same years phone from another company.Even though I do not play games on it, or stressing its battery with heavy usage, I just use it like any other person would Social media, Youtube, chatting, etc.Im actually disappointed of the life of its battery.

I have had a number of phones over the last decade and working for the majority of that time in the telecommunications industry have seen many phones come and go. Samsung have really stepped the game up with the S9 and S9 mobile devices I use the word device and not phone purposefully because THIS IS NO LONGER JUST A PHONE.Great move by Samsung to partner with AKG to improve soundstereo quality. This has, in my opinion bridged the only gap that apple iphone had an advantage over Samsung devices. The speed of the device is incredible, along with the screen size and resolution this device is great for gamers and your normal every day average Joe alike. The camera is brilliant. The clarity, features and ease of use remove any need for the traditional camera. Having 3 young children, the camera functionality is very important to me and I love the quality snaps I get from my S9.There is a lot that I havent mentioned. I feel like exploring the device is the best way to see what it does, what features you could benefit from and how it can fit into and improve every day activities. Exploring is the most fun thing about getting a new S9 device.Lastly great to see a manufacturer adding a device cover inside the sale box free of charge. Not making their customers dive into their wallets to have, what I believe is an essential item for phone protection, especially after already paying a decent amount of money for the device itself. Thanks Samsung

Some people are 100 loyal fans of iPhone and Apple products and some are 100 loyal fans of Android and Samsung products and I myself are a member of the latter. Ive been a fan of not only Samsung phones, but all Samsung electronics for a long time and the Galaxy S9 was no exception I loved everything about this phone from its user friendly software free apps for any conceivable thing you can think of, to its tough construction and good looks. I am very rough on my phones and the S9 took all that I gave it and I never had an issue that I needed to take it to get repaired. Something Ive noticed is you dont see or hear of stores that are dedicated mainly for Samsung repairs…unlike all the Apple stores that you see everywhere and theyre always packed with phones needing repaired, so much so you have to schedule an appointment Thinking theres probably a good reason for this Id recommend the Galaxy S9 phone over other brand phone on the market

I bought this, upgrading from a Galaxy S5, thinking that it would be just as good and if not better since it was newer, had more storage space and other enhancements. I was extremely wrong. The curved glass screen is probably the biggest problem that this device has for two reasons. One the curved glass feels slippery and not as smooth as previous generations touch screens. The curves more so get in the way then they do help when dragging along the edges of the screens. And due to the curvature, there really isnt any kind of screen protector that works for the device. You are 100 guaranteed to have your screen protector crack under the slightest touch andor have it fall off. As a result, youre pretty much left to use the phone without any protection for the screen, which is terrible because even though it is using gorilla glass, the screen will still get hairline fractures and other small nicks in it over time and eventually may be looking at spending anywhere in the neighborhood of 200400 to get your screen replaced. This is inexcusable for Samsung and probably one of the biggest rackets I have ever seen them create with their devices. The second biggest problem is that the phone does not have anything distinguishing on it that sets it apart from much lower priced models. The software on the phone, Samsungs proprietary stuff, is more or less garbage bloat ware at this point. All of their programs have been watered down and stripped of any significant features in the past two years. For example, the Samsung music program used to have more sound features and had a cool edge light effect that played with your music. Both of those features are gone and it is now an incredibly generic music player. The Samsung alarm app has been made so bare bones and buggy that it is practically useless. The list goes on and on. I have been finding myself having to go back and uninstall all of Samsungs trash from my phone using the Android SDK since they flagged so much of it as System Apps, which makes you unable to uninstall it using the OS on the phone. Why bother making your software essential if it doesnt actually provide anything essentialThe third huge problem is another software one, but it is significant enough on its own that it merits mentioning in a separate paragraph. This is of course, Samsungs annoying and useless digital assistant, Bixby. Bixby is hands down the worst digital assistant I have ever had the displeasure of using. It doesnt have nearly the search capabilities of Cortana or Google and it is also extremely invasive with the way it pops up on the side if you tap the edge of the screen or accidently push its button. It also drains battery and seems to hurt system performance. Thankfully you can uninstall Bixby using the Android SDK and remap its button to something else using another application, but the fact that Samsung doesnt give up on this worthless piece of junk just shows their aggressive approach to trying to make their phones different but not actually better.Other problems with the phone that have made me dislike this device are the lackluster camera, the narrower screen, the seemingly no better battery life versus the S5, terrible launcher I had to replace it with the Microsoft launcher, Samsung Pay it almost never works and the price. As I said in the review title, I am done with Samsung. I will not be getting another Samsung phone after I have this one paid off and I will discourage anyone I know from making the same bad decision.

I enjoy this phone very much. This is my third Galaxy series phone and I imagine the next phone will likely be another. The main drawbacks to this phone is the builtin Samsung stuff. Goodness. No one wants Bixby. Stop trying to make it a thing. A dedicated button for it Get over yourself. If digital assistants are going to continue being a thing, lets keep it to Google, Siri, and Alexa UNLESS its significantly better than the rest. Especially since the phone runs off of Android and already utilizes Googles Assistant. Grumble. Battery life could be improved, but the phone is nearly 2 years old at this point and Id say the same about any phone, especially one as old as this.

I personally think the camera quality could be just a little better. The quality is nice, but not always professionalprofessional enough for if you use your social media platform as an influencer. I personally think Ive had more professional looking photos from a 2011 simple point and shoot digital camera. Again, the quality isnt bad at all, but I do think it doesnt look as professional as some other phone cameras do. The phone itself is really nice. I do wish I could uninstallremove certain apps that arent necessary for phone use but that automatically come on the phone. I could use that extra space. Love the blue light filter. Super easy to call and text from, and I love that it lets you know if some unknown callers are Spam Risk. I personally havent had the most luck with the fingerprint reading technology. The chargers dont last long in my experience I think Im on my third or fourth now and theyre super expensive. Super sturdy. Love the glass screen on top of the actual screen, and you can hardly tell that it is cracked if it does end up cracked. Overall, the cracks are very thin. Not too big, not too small of a phone.

I get a new galaxy every year have for 7 years. Im very loyal to the brand because I love their product. I would recommend the Samsung Galaxy to anyone that prefers android over iOS. Ive upgraded to 10 but still use my 9 for clients and it works just as well as my 10 minus the new features. My only complaint about their phones is that their screens are so expensive. And I understand why, but samsung screens used to be the best because they were also the strongest. I feel like the screens have gotten softer over the years. The first week of having my 10 I smashed my screen and I had the liquid screen protector which has always worked on previous models.

Pros Samsung androids are my choice over the popular other brand. The price was an amazing deal for the phone I brought. The initial set up was extremely easy. Setting up your email accounts etc. The screen is large and very clear. Ease of use is perfect too. I will be buying my next Samsung phone from this company again.Cons Straight off the back when the phone came, I had extreme trouble hearing people during phone calls. I had to have conversations on speaker phone. I took the phone to a Samsung shop and the problem was that the holes in the speaker for your ear, at the top of the phone were blocked. A quick brush with a tool like a toothbrush and it was all sorted. I have had the phone for 8 months now. The charging time was amazing as always. Only needing charge once a day. As Ive had the phone a little while now, I have noticed the battery life below 15 drains very quickly. I am still in warranty so I will return to the shop and get the battery replaced. Bixby is not a feature I use. So it is annoying having it there. Especially with the side bottom button controlling Bixby. It opens up when you accidentally touch the button. I would like to be able to assign what feature I want to that button.
