The IHRN feature is not intended to provide a notification on every episode of irregular rhythm suggestive of AFib and the absence of a notification is not intended to indicate no disease process is present; rather the feature is intended to opportunistically acquire pulse rate data when the user is still and analyze the data when determined sufficient toward surfacing a notification. The ECG Monitor App is not intended to replace traditional methods of diagnosis or treatment. The ECG app is not intended for users with known arrhythmias other than AFib or users under 22 years old. Then while I was selecting options in the settings menu it wasn’t registering. It was behaving very glitchy all round. In the end I pulled the plug and re booted it. It resolved the issue. However there have been 3 times where I have had to do this while making changes t settings such as clock, home and photo. Customer service did reach out and offered to speak directly with e to help but as it wasn’t a lack of knowledge on how to set it up or make changes I didn’t take them up on their kind offer. Now that it is all set up and left alone it is fine. I wish I had gone for a bigger size as my photo album displayed on it doesn’t fill the whole screen. Portrait orientated photos are even smaller. So the ratio of your photos and orientation matter. I tried the auto crop, crop all and do not crop settings and all setting the photos don’t fit the screen. The clock choices are good and I like the landscape images. These do fit the whole screen. So it makes it even more of a shame that my photo don’t. The sound is good and equals my dot. I can’t tell if the bass is more though. Obviously you can increase how much bass in the equaliser. What I mean is compared to my old echo dot. I wouldn’t say it sounds much, if any different. I used the alexa app on my phone to live view the camera. There is a slight slowness to the movements of the person the camera detects. However, it is good to have the ability to check on pets at home while at or children. The length of time between photo changes are good but I would have liked a better transition between them. Instead the screen go’s blank/black and then loads the next. I found I didn’t need to have it on very bright and urned off adaptive brightness. We already have Alexa devices, and one this was added to the wifi it became part of the network with no fuss. I was initially caught out as I’d ordered this, and it came pre-configured with my Gadget Tree account. But the home Alexa system uses my wife’s Gadget Tree account. It was simple, though, to log out and log back in with the correct email address. The unit feels solid – its got a nice weight to it and it doesn’t have any cheap feeling plastic. Screen is bright and the touch is responsive.
