I purchased this watch as a set for my wife and I. She has the rose gold 40mm. The very first thing we noticed is how comfortable and unobtrusive the watch is. After charging the first night we were both surprised to have over 60 battery life at the end of the day. This is important because I like to track my sleeping habits on occasion so 2 full days of use before charging is nice. My brightness level is 5 out of 10 which is visible in daylight. I take quick calls on the watch and monitor my daily activities. My wife walksruns 35 miles daily. After a week were still both very happy. Coming from a Gear S3 Frontier I do miss the more conventional watch look but my wife loves hers over her Gen 3 Venture.Pros Battery life, style and lightweightCons Not a con but suggesting to make a 46mm version of the Active watch. Im a big guy and this watch looks dainty on my wrist.

After I tried a few sport watches I stayed with Samsung Galaxy Active 2 Stainless steel. They look luxurious so I can wear anywhere. Im very happy with my purchase. The only thing that is missing is the Google pay feature, but its only a matter of time until we will be able to use this in the Netherlands as well.

Pros Had not had a smartwatch previously, I love it. The gorilla glass is perfect bought a fitbit sense initially it scratched after 17 hours, I was asleep for 7 of themCons The bezel casing right next to the screen scratched after a few days. I dont do anything that would justify this. But I love it so once the rest has caught up, itll be a feature.

Not a bad watch. Does come with UA map my run app. Does do great job with heart rate and sleep findings. Good night mode sometimes comes on at night and out of good night mode at odd times and when you have not activated it. Charges very easy. Works well with phone calls

i bought the watch today, in the description it was for both gender. but it still so big on my arm.And i cant exchange it with another one smaller. Also you have to put a warning about exchane policiy in every page.I hope you give a chanse to exchange my watch, i will be thankful.

UA provides users with option to buy the UA branded Samsung Galaxy Watch with MapMyRun app preinstalled and realtime form coaching enabled. In the same time UA does not provide an option to buy UA branded Apple Watch. Hence, Apple Watch users can simply download and install MapMyRun app with real time form coaching enabled and enjoy it. However, this does not go to Samsung Galaxy Watch nonbranded users. They still can download the MalMyRun app, but the realtime form coaching will be blocked to push new users to by a branded model from UA. However, this is unlikely for an existing user of Samsung Galaxy Watch to buy the exact same but branded model just to enable the realtime form coaching feature. So one can have a proper shoes like HOVR edition, and a capable hardware like Samsung Galaxy Watch and MapMyRun app, but still cannot benefit from the realtime form coaching and this fact is really frustrating, because for Apple Watch users the feature is available now by default.I believe UA has to provide an option to purchase the feature separately from user account cabinet as onetime purchase.

first the good thingsgood battery lifesleek and comfortablenow the negativesthe watch DOES NOT have sp02 oxygen sensor which is like a basic feature in every other watch and very important if you are runningexercising like me and keeping track of your oxygen. they still DO NOT support ECG heart monitoring even after a year 1 YEAR IT HAS BEEN…they promised that ECG will me launched in coming updates but now they are saying it depends on US FDD clearance…i dont care US clears it or not..this feature you promised, you never provided and now they are advertising their galaxy watch 3the watch has many limitations in the face feature…basically developers of watch faces i bought are saying that it is the tizen os limitation. the weather data forecast and temperature celciusfarenheit CAN NOT be displayed at the same time in watch face major limitation if you want a watch face for outdoor use like weather forecast through out the day morning, noon and evening with temperature….also it has limitations like choosing between imperial and metric unit for temperature like celcius..the AOD COLOR CAN NOT BE ADJUSTED TO THE WATCH FACETHEME YOU CHOSE..ALSO IT IS LIMITED TO 15 power…so not very bright in AOD mode.last but not the least…the watch is laggy and doesnt scroll smoothly…i feel the ram of 768mb is insufficient

Its my first product of Samsung after long time of having Samsung galaxy phone 7years ago. Smartwatch is wonderful in terms of features, durability, looks and price in market. I feel battery wise, it can be improved little bit. Happy to have it in my collection

I have had this for two weeks now. I was scared to buy another Samsung watch as I had the gear and its battery was horrible plus dealing with Customer Service was a joke. Attitude was you bought it we dont care anymore. The Active 2 Battery has been excellent getting 4 days on a charge and its only 6090 minutes for a full charge. Still exploring all its features but is very comfortable even when sleeping. Very comfortable.I deducted one star for samsungs horrible customer service on my Gear
dpercival –
Bought this for the same price as the regular Galaxy Watch Active2. I have decided to use this primarily as a daily aid with notifications and calls. It is so much easier to look at the watch rather than pulling out the phone. I like the UA screen and MapMyRun. I bought the shoes to go with the app. Pretty cool watch for the price
Natalie –
Pros It looks lovely, I dont usually go for pink but this works. The screen is big and easy to read.It has Bixby UK instead of US Comfortable.Has goodnight mode turns screennotification off so wont wake you up when you roll over.Combines with Samsung Health. Can set it to just be a watch probably for travelling which extends battery to about 45 daysCons Doesnt have Google maps, its a 3rd party app not tried yet.Is still quite chunky, may struggle not to get it caught when training kung fuboxing. My last gear kept getting snagged so i suspect this will too. Will need charging every other day if used with all available sensors my last gear lasted about 34 days but expected with larger screen.

I upgraded to the active 2 from my Samsung Galaxy watch. I love it but I do miss the professional look of my all black Galaxy watch. And another con is that the edges scratches easily. Besides those down sides the screen is absolutely beautiful. The battery is excellent. I like it so much I got one for my husband as well.
Papichulo –
After dealing with apple for almost 10 years I finally gave a try to the galaxy note 10. I had an apple watch 1st generation and it lasted me almost 4 years. This Samsung galaxy active 2 is the 1st Samsung smart watch I ever own and is similar to the apple watch in many ways. It takes a while to get use to it but ones you do it work great. It is smooth and the screen resolution is phenomenon. They make this product feel as premium as an apple watch and the speed is as good as apple watch series 5. I got this under armor edition for 300 dollars thats way less than. A series 4,5 apple watch. I will keep using it for sometime and see how it goes ,but so far its been super comfortable and the operating system is very competitive. For a person hows going from apple watch to this it might be slightly different specially in the expensive field. What I love I can use it with iOS or android. Give it a try you will like it. Smooth product to use. Very customizable.

Long time Samsung loyalist. I upgraded to this from the Galaxy Watch after the last upgrade to that device shortened my battery life to barely a day.Several friends and coworkers have the GWA 2 and raved about it, so I bit the bullet and got one.LOTS to for sure, most of which is how lightweight it is. Thought I would miss the physical bezel but I do not. Fitness tracking has lots of great options and various workout. Navigation is simple operating an Apple watch just gives me anxiety. The only thing I have to gripe about and its the sole reason for my 2 rating is the battery. I went for the Under Armour edition because I really like UA products. Not sure if its just this model or not, exchanged my first purchase for a replacement hoping I simply received a random defective unit. Nope, this battery barely lasts a day. My gear S3 lasted me 2.5 days, my Galaxy watch would last 34 before the update. My first unit would die overnight, the replacement will last through the night but I must immediately place on the charger upon waking. My usage is normal, have a 4560 minute workout and normal daily notifications. Dont take calls on it, so not using the speaker. Searched tirelessly online for tips and tricks but nothing ultimately has worked for me. I considered returning it but my my Galaxy watch doesnt get much better life after that last update. And I do love the design and how light it is. Even the included fitness bad is my Favorite of any fitness band Ive had on my past watches and I had several.Alas, if battery life is a must consider an LTE model, those seem to have better battery life based on my interactions with friends and coworkers. But purposely did not want an LTE model and again, wanted to rep both my Samsung and Under Armour

I bought this watch in December 2019 and love the look and feel of it. I wear it as a dress watch and take extremely good care of it so I was very disappointed last week when the workouts would continue recording so all of my health stats were incorrect. I never wear it to sleep but one morning when I put it on it showed that I had already bee. Active for 15 hours I sent it in for repair, and when I got it back today Im still having the same issue. I called in, spent 50 min on the phone with a rep and was told I need to send it in again because they replaced the wrong part I am so disappointed….Ive tried a few activity trackers and really loved this one while it lasted…but if it doesnt get fixed this time, its going in the garbage and was a big waste of money
Toadamazulla –
So far this is a great improvement over my previous Samsung watch however I assumed it would have Samsung Pays magnetic strip technology so I could use any card reader for purchases. It does have Samsung Pay and the tap and pay tech but not the magnetic tech. Just be aware.
Amrcnegle –
Smartwatch came in a nice package, very well packed. Opened it up. Charged it up. Turned it on, and started simply by setting up smart things on the wifes Galaxy S10, and I swear it did all the work by itself. The only thing I remember doing is changing the watch face display… thats it. Wife wears it constantly. She tracks her steps, and heart rate. We havent decided if were going to activate the cell capabilities yet, but the option is still there and nice to have.
Anonymous –
no warranty apparently on a 21 day old watch after it stopped syncing. the supposed problem is it is international version….bought in the usa. they are trying to charge me 150 to repair.it was bad enough to have the watch crap out, the customer service is even worse. this watch is still currently sold on website still…save your money…run and buy something that at the very least will have a reputable warranty and moral business practices.
Jgibs –
its a watch to track your exercise. it has some great apps and pairs nicely with samsung health on your samsung phone. only problem is the watch malfunctions with sweat and a splash of water. ive never been in a pool or body of water to truly test out their claim of it can withstand depths of 5 feet for up to 30 minutes, but i wouldnt do it if i were you. youll void your warranty and your heart rate and other sensors will stop working after a splash of water and some sweat.
Paula –
Im disappointed with the product. Spotify frequently freezes while Im running. With two months of use, the screen already has scratches. I have no idea of where I can have scratched the watch. For years, I have a Galaxy S8 phone, never used a screen protector, and it doesnt have a single scratch. Further, I tried to purchase a leather wristband on the Samsung website. They did not accept my credit card or pal pay payment. Ive contacted the customer service several times, and they didnt solve the problem.
Zonegoofy –
This is a great product to have. The only downside is the screen scratches really easy. I bought the protective cover, however I wore it out and scratched it a few days after so that was a bonehead move on my part. The buttons are firm. I dislike showering with it as the droplets will trigger screen presses and swipes and it can do some pretty wild things like that. I havent yet determined if I can change the sensitivity to correct that. Being in a wet state I should have that more to prevent accidental touches. Works with lots of apps and pairs easy to my phone. Like getting the notifications and call popups right there and then. voice messages are fairly well. the swipe texting is touchy and doesnt work all the time.
Jas77 –
Just did a 10k run and watch will not show map in Samsung Health despite GPS on the watch being turned on and watch synced to the Note 10. Whats the point All this clicking and clocking, turned on GPS and accepted all the numerous confirmations only to complete your exercise and discover that a simple map of your route is not there.I wouldnt recommend for that reason, if your a fitness person.
RichP359 –
This is such a frustrating watch as it has so much potential but potential is pretty much where it ends unfortunately.I did a lot of research before buying this watch and being an owner of a Samsung S10 and S5e tablet as well, felt comfortable this would be the right choice for me. My previous watch was a Garmin Forerunner 230, which despite being fairly limited in smart features, was a great watch for exercising. The look of the watch is great, and the menus are fairly intuitive, although the electronic bezel isnt great, especially if youre sweating or the phone is wet.The real issues with this watch are with the GPS. Whether this is purely a faulty model or a problem with the range, I cannot say but Ive had this watch in for repair 3 times now and it still doesnt work how it should. I bought this watch to work in standalone mode as I wanted to have music and avoid carrying my phone around with me. Yet, when it is disconnected from my phone, it can take up to 20 minutes to find a GPS signal. Obviously after waiting around for more than 5 minutes when wanting to get out cycling or running is more than enough so I now just go for it and somewhere during my run it may or may not find a signal. I would maybe expect this from a 20 watch you would find on Amazon, but not for a 280 Samsung watch.I have been through every fault finding tutorial with support and they now claim the issue is fixed but it is not. I have even sent them videos as evidence which they do not acknowledge. The next issue is the actual accuracy of the GPS. Given the issues Ive already mentioned with this watch, Ive tested it alongside my phones GPS, an Apple Watch and my old Garmin. This tracks so far off any given pathroad that is can be as much as 1km out over 5km, which is simply terrible for a watch of this price. The watch also crashes quite a lot when trying to play music through Spotify, which usually results in you stopping half way through a run and giving up on the music. By this point I am not really using the watch for anything else but telling the time and for notifications.Despite several hours on the phone to Samsung and it being sent of repair, they now refuse to do anything about this. Given I purchased directly from the Samsung online store, I really would have expected better customer service.I really wouldnt recommend anyone to buy this watch if you want a smart watch dedicated to sport. If you want a smart watch which shows notifications and controls music etc, this might be the one for you still way cheaper alternatives out there which can do this, but if youre sport orientated, stick to a sports brand like Garmin and you wont look back.Couldve been so good
Suzie –
Pros You can add different apps to the watch and sync apps outside of the Samsung family to the Health app on your phone.I can go running and listen to music via Bluetooth ear buds without having to take my phone as everything is stored on my watch.Cons Spotify tracks are difficult to download initially. Im not sure if the sleep tracker is accurate as the data is completely different to my last watch. Could be the my old watch was wrong. Some things are not intuitive but Ive found out via Web searches.
Ankit –
The watch is just superb and loved using it. The watch fits just absolutely fine and the features are all amazing with even having the additional ability to click photos. Hopefully, there will be an update in future for paying through the watch as well.

Got this for my birthday. After 1 year plus of using, its now officially dead. I NEVER go diving or swimming with it. My only mistake I went to a theme park and it was raining. Yes, it died because of exposure to rain water. Sent to the service centre, they gave me a onetime only free parts replacement. Then after a few months, charging started to fail. My mistake Overnight charging. Pretty dumb excuse to fail.

Active 2 watch is a perfect watch that fits very well, lightweight, great battery life and looks elegant. This is what my wife care aboutOther points The watch comes with a bundle of features such as GPS, heart rate monitoring, ECG, automatic workout detection, Offline Spotify amazing for running outdoors. We got the watch connected to a Samsung phone. Now the options for the watch face are unlimited.
Alexes –
Im so excited about this watch…numbers one love is that its waterproof. It automatically tracks seven popular activities walking, running, cycling, rowing, elliptical trainer, dynamic workouts and swimming. The number two for me it is the sleek look and feel.I total love it
Hensel –
Its a light watch, has a beautiful design you can wear in all occasions casual and while you are sporting. The software is easy to use and looks super clean.A nice advice when you buy a case for the active2 44mm you buy the Samsung Galaxy bezels for the samsung galaxy watch 46mm.It will fit perfectly on the case and it will make you watch a little bigger.
Anna –
Pros Lovely design that actually looks like a watch. Great that you have so much choice of watch faces. Basic activity tracking is easy to useCons Pink gold is misleading. It is pink. Its not always easy to stop an activity once its started. It sometimes picks up walking as another activity, then doesnt seem to count the steps, which is annoying if youve been out for a long walk.
Kelly –
Pros Its beautiful and smart looking without being bulky. The things you can do with it are absolutely amazing and I love using it every dayCons The battery life could be better and I cant use Samsung pay but thats more to do with my bank. Only 2 phone providers currently work with the 4g on the watch as well which I didnt realise when I first purchased it so I still have to take my phone out with me for notifications and calls
Harbs1973 –
Had this watch for three weeks now. Came from a series 4 apple watch. Have owned two previous Samsung watches before. This one has poor paint finish for a 549 dollar watch poor build quality. The heart rate monitor is really poor. Around 30 to 50 bpm off when exercising. Even cycling with no wrist movement way off. It struggles to go over 140 bpm.Resting heart rate within 10 beats a minute. Which gives an error rate of around 20.I am not sure how they got it so wrong. My gear two tracked heart rate tracked better. The app keeps crashing i have done 3 resets in past 4 weeks. It is a shame i do really prefer the round face over apple. It does pick up gps quickly and counts steps and flights of stairs. I do like the layout of the Samsung health.Battery life is great along with the display.Hopefully heart rate can be fixed with a software update.Although if they are anything like there phones i wont hold my breath.Main difference between apple watch and Samsung Active.Apple just works heart rate records. Samsung like a gimmick has all the lights but appears to be all show no go.Attempted to ring Samsung they blame user not higher enough on wrist ect. Too tight too loose ect.Customer service shocking.Tried the payment NFC at various outlets including main stream supermarkets. Doesnt work.I probably wouldnt recommend watch with current state. Will be returning if things dont improve. It did manage to track heart rate properly on one occasion. So maybe software glitches
Bigfrank070449 –
This is a nice Smart Watch but the golf app is very poor compared to a Garmin Golf watch. I wouldnt buy it again just for Golf. My course is wrong and I cant get it corrected. The app isnt supported by Samsung even though the watch is sold by Samsung as a Golf Edition. This is the most disappointing Samsung product I have ever bought.
Edverse –
When I got the watch out of its package and turned it on, the first things I noticed were the fantastic screen quality and its responsiveness, and the ease of pairing it to my phone. Within seconds it was downloading updates and completely integrated with all my accounts. I browsed around for a while and downloaded the recommended apps. It is light on the wrist but even though I have the 44mm, it wouldve been nice if it was just a bit bigger, at least on my wrist. The watch is great at showing notifications, you have thorough control over how much you want it to measure i.e. HR continuous, every 10 minutes or manual and it can be totally aranged how you like it. Highly recommended.
WatchRunner –
This watch checked a lot of boxes for me initially but I returned it after 2 weeks of owning. The big issue for me was the heart rate sensor. My HR sensor was inconsistent and possibly defective with differences of up to 40 BPM. This was confirmed at the doctor. The screen scratches way too easily as well and I recommend getting a screen protector.I would still recommend this watch for its other features as its very comfortable and does many great things.
Skhl –
I bought the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active2 last month and quite impressed with the quality of it. I have had used different smart watches from other brands but Samsung Galaxy Watch Active2 fulfills my requirements. Its light so you dont feel it in your hand. Rotating bezel is awsome. A last shortcut app is also a nice addition which helps you to control the battery usage. I will give it a five star.
Jenny –
This was a gift to my parents and they absolutely love it. They wear it everyday and cant get enough. They love the fact that it tracks their fitness, answer phone calls and text messages. They have easy access to their phone apps without having to open their phones. Battery life is great and they have not had any issues with it Great purchase would definitely recommend
Doris –
Really a great watch for anybody who wants to monitor their health habits and stay active. It reminds you to move if youve been inactive for a certain period of time. Love that it has an option for women. I was a bit disappointed that the Samsung Health Monitor app is not available in Luxembourg yet but hope this will be sorted out soon.I got the black one because its sober and elegant. I give it a girly touch with the display which you can choose amongst a good amount of free options.Im overall very satisfied.Thank you Samsung.A faithful customer
dan1994 –
Really liked the premium feel of the watch. The data captured and populated on the app helps me in staying motivated in staying fit. I enjoy doing workouts now that it tracks fitness data. The one thing Id improve on is having a larger array of food selections in the Food section of the Health App, especially covering Malaysia Singapore.

I didnt need a smart watch i needed a good health tracker im hitting the weight loss hard and wanted something to complimnet Samsung Health app on my phone. As a smart watch this is great, well laid out clear screen but isnt it crazy we buy bigger and better phones only to try and read a message on a tiny watch screenAs an health tracker its ok until you REALLY start to use it.To be fair it gets most things right. Its a little fiddly to select your workout and configure it to the distance, time or calories you want to track this takes seconds on the phone itself but that goes back to my point above. It REALLY let me down when showing calories burned during a workout.2 examples,20min 1 mile walk,Phone showed 93 caloriesWatch showed 150 caloriesA detailed exercise website i use shows this walk should burn 89 calories.1hr 30min 5 mile walk,Phone showed 429 caloriesWatch showed 851 caloriesThat difference just isnt acceptable in a watch like this. On a calorie controlled diet this would really upset the balanceA few other points that annoyed me,Step counter this is only accurate if you walk arms out straight and swing them as you should when walking if you walk with your hands in your pockets pr are carrying things, this reduces the amount of steps counted.I also found other movements added excessive steps driving, cleaning teeth and cooking stiring stuff to name a few.WorkoutsExercise,I assumed if you started to track an exercise on your phone you would be able to see the ongoing details distance, cals etc on your watch at the same time and vice versa, but that is not the case. This is annoying as i like to keep my phone in a back pack while cycling and it would have been convenient to check progress on my watch. Now i know you could start the exercise on the watch but thats not really convenient due to the size of the watch screen. So for me this was just not accomplished enough.Great smart phone if you like that sort of thing, but not good enough as a health tracker.
Lita15 –
I purchased one for my boyfriend last Christmas and he is so obsessed with it. The watch is so sleek and cool. It fits every style. Since it is so multi functional, he wears it in the gym, office and uses it in all outdoor activities as well. I highly recommend this product, it is allin one The most important thing is you get more and beyond what you pay for
gord1212 –
This is the worst piece of technology Ive ever owned and has been a complete waste of money. The watchs features only really work when connected to a phone, so forget the advertising of being able to do everythingworkout without your phone, thats a lie. Bluetooth connection is terrible, disconnects, distorted. Customer service is terrible. They try and make it so difficult to receive service that you just give up,they wont fix the faulty product they sell you. My whole experience with this watch has made it very easy to say that I will never purchase another Samsung product again Save your money and time on a different brand and product, youll thank me later.
Louise –
Pros I was recommended a smart watch by my cardiologist to monitor my heart. So by going on the excellent reviews and price I purchased one. The daily ECG read outs are great and easy to follow, I can also check back on the week to compare readings. Handy to show to my specialist too. The manual diet check which keeps tabs on the nutrients for each meal is useful too.Their are other functions on the watch that I also use and in time I am sure there will be more. I am just having fun exploring the optionsSome of the online instuCons Some of the online instructions could be a lot clearer for those who find modern technology a little puzzling.

Just made my decision to upgrade from Amazfit TReX to Active 2 in just merely a month. Flawless OS with smooth operation, stunning display, acceptable GPS, Elevation and heart rate reading, easily link mobile phone with notification, Sportify, Strava, …compatible, 4GB storage, tons of FaceWatch, animated activity display, customize activity , wa…cannot finish talking…Cons only 1 to 2 days of battery life, designed not rugged and relatively small.
MarinaLuisa –
Pros You can customise it the way you want, with photo on the screen instead of the classic watch, you can add music on it.Cons I had to install an app to connect WhatsApp, Messenger to the watch, and the Messenger has to be Messinger lite, which was annoying. It still cannot connect to Snapchat, nor Yahoo. Also when you receive a voicemail on WhatsApp you need to go on your phone, same goes for photos.
Tmzenn –
I have really enjoyed this product. The only issue if any I could say is it is easy to scratch up the edges of it. Bixby doesnt really do that great with it either. Though, I am not a huge fan of using Bixby. All in all, I have liked this watch a lot though. This was my second Active 2, I previously had the normal black version and they replaced the previous one with this because of my replacement plan and not being able to get Bixby to accept the update. This one I had similar issues, but decided to just stop using Bixby features.
RedAdmiralAnna –
I tried quite some watches before this one and now I honestly regret the time I lost with testing and sending other watches back. Active2 is THE ONE. Sleek design, super responsive with a shocking amount of customization which helps make it even more to my taste. The apps work great and honestly when at first felt a bit on the pricey side, now knowing of superior quality, I would not think twice to buy this one again. Seeing this watch I do feel like it is time to get a Samsung phone again. PS… battery holds longer than Samsung claims which is a big plus but I assume it will be also dependent on each user usage. Mine says it will hold around 46 hours but holds almost 3 days so big plus with that
Zena –
I bought this watch for my sons 39th birthday……and he LOVES ITIts stylish and he said This watch does some of EVERYTHINGHe uses it to maintain all his business appointments, track his steps, and monitor his exercise progress…and so much moreThis was an Awesome purchase
Norgush –
The Active 2 is a leisure smartwatch. It is simply not a running watch. The heart rate monitor is intermittent at best, uploading to Strava is riddled with errors, and there is no lowpower alwayson option. The battery lasts maybe 23 days tops with very little usage, and will struggle to hold battery for long activities 4 hours. If youre a keen runner who cares about their watch performance and running usability Id recommend going Garmin 245 Music
Emily –
Pros Excellten watch. I originally for the fitbit versa 2 and found the distance when tracking runs was very inaccurate. This watch is so much more accurate Easy to use and comfortable to wear. I love itCons Must be quite close to phone to pick up texts etc but works excellently without it for the fitness apps due to built in gps.
NathanG –
This watch is what Android users have been waiting for. Great screen quality, nice feel on the wrist and nearly all the features you could want. It is waterproof and has amazing battery life. Built in phone app through Bluetooth is a nice addition for when you cannot reach you phone bike riding for example. I would recommend this phone without reservation. Some compatibility issues with Facer and some issues with the Samsung software but that is resolvable with software and does not negatively effect the experience with the watch enough to warrant much concern.
Jaye –
I have had many smartwatches and either find them uncomfortable or just dont use them since they dont support everythingI want to do. Let me tell you this watch is amazing it does everything I needed it to do and more and is super comfortable. I have purchased the underarmour edition as I primarily use this for tracking workouts mostly running and streaming Spotify without having to take my phone This supports downloading Spotify playlists in offline mode Mapmyrun is very accurate and easy to use Very customizable battery life is great…no complaints
lang –
The design of the product is simple and elegant, which makes it very sophisticated. The device functionality level definitely represent what a smart watch should be. The overall performance is very good and the quick guide is very helpful, clear, and easy to understand. This watch is definitely worth it to buy, if you are looking for a durable watch with great amount of functionality and in need of workout assistance.

I bought this UA edition for my partner. I have the regular version. She has exclusive UA content but thats the only difference. It worked with her Nokia phone, however, there were a few little things that were not right so we got her a galaxy phone. Everything works as it should now.
Mehyuen –
I preOrdered and purchased this watch alongside the Galaxy Note 10 Plus. I changed phone ecosystems as the Note 10 Plus was everything I wanted at a better price. The watch falls very short of my expectations. I use the smartwatch primarily as an information hub so I dont have to pick up my phone all the time. Here are my primary painpoints that have made me shelf this product.1. Tries to take heart rate when the watch is sitting on the table. It cant seem to detect that it is not on my wrist.2. The password lock engages randomly when on my wrist. Very annoying especially when Im driving.3. Cannot use other mail clients or calendar application Google. I cannot check my calendar or emails. I can only receive my notifications on my next meeting and cannot see the details.4. Weak text message support. It cannot seem to view past text messages or messages from different recipients. It does show how many text messages. Just show a dot to indicate I have a text message.5. Vibrate is weak, or is just located in the wrong part of the watch as I almost always miss vibrate notifications.6. Watch faces and complications are essentially all the same. Variations in layouts or graphics are different.7. Weak application support.

I bough 44 mm watch and using it since 3 months. Very satified by its battery life which is more than 48 hrs. It has sveral features like GPS, SwimProof, Heart Rate Monitor, LTE. It is as good as Apples watch but for a lower price.Samsungs watch works with both Android and iOS smartphones. It also can automatically track your activity and sleep. It also gives the information on the depth of sleep. Its circular design is gorgeous. Based on Samsungs Tizen operating system, this Galaxy Watch boasts other useful features as Samsung Pay, onboard music via Spotify and heart health features, whatapp msg tracking etc. But the biggest reason why the Galaxy Watch Active 2 is one of the best smartwatches for Android users is its excellent battery life.

Although I have it for only 2 weeks, Im excited with it It is all I needed and met my expectations. I wish though there was a specific section in the connecting app on the phone, to display all the Samsung Health recordings for sleep, stress, etc., so I could keep some kind of record for a few days, that would be great

To my surprise, I didnt find anyone complaining about the always on display feature problem in this official website whereas after googling its reviews on other websites I found many such claims. The always on feature is not working properly and despite it being on, the screen gets off after sometime. Many other people are facing it too.I think the samsung has the potential to rectify this through a software update but for some reason its not doing anything. Its been less than 15 days since I brought the watch and I can get it exchanged but that wont solve the problem. Also the wake up screen sensor doesnt work properly when you are lying on the bed.Apart from these two points, the watch its really nice. Unfortunately, always on display is one of the main feature of this watch because of which I choose this over galaxy active 1.I request samsung to kindly solve these issues at the earliest.

Absolutely ridiculous samsung ive always trusted your product but not this one. The watch itself is good love the design. I paid the extra because i wanted to be about to use the watch away from phone while on the run. First of all i received the watch 3 weeks late and when i tried to setup up with my network provider was unable to do so. Spent countless hours researching and back and forth with vodafone and samsung both of them saying its the other person fault. After 1 weeks of trying ive given up sending the watch back and cancelling watch plan with vodafone. If you want the watch go for the bluetooth version because you will pay the extra for lte but wont be able to use it.

Theres nothing else i can say about this product. It did as it was supposed to until after exactly 2 years, then i started to notice issues. Consistent over heating despite no logical way for that to happen open faced, not in a case, not exposed to extreme heatIve had apple watches, fit bits, and Samsung watches. I have my apple series 1 that still works fine and i got that years ago.

Bought this end of Sept to replace my Fit Bit Versa which died. I love my Samsung Phone so this made sense. There are things I like GPS in particular for runswalks. The HR and caloric burn are not very accurate , which is not a huge issue for me. The screen and apps can be a pain sometimes. So many options but you can only short cut 4 workout types which I hate as I use it as a fitness watch. Sadly it does not work or support beachbody or weight watchers which are huge so this is very disappointing. The text and phone smart watch aspects are fine . Overall for fitness it could be improved and for that I am a bit disappointed.Mine started acting up about 6 months in, workout would not start or it stops randomly. Just was not performing as well overall . Chatted with service did a full reset you have to then reset everything which is a pain. Yesterday my workout stopped itself and did not record my GPS at all but the steps are there so it is odd. The night before my alarm which I have never used was going off at 5 am It seems like it has developed a mind of its own. After my call to service he told me if it was still misbehaving to send it in. Fine that seemed reasonable.I have been on the chat today for over an hour now the person has told me multiple times that if there is physical water damage it will not be repaired . I am not concerned about this and it is a waterproof device, and I am not sure why she even mentioned it …. Then I was told it can be mailed or taken to a service center. I was surprised given the current pandemic Oh wait the drop off service centers are closed NO KIDDING . I can mail again the water damage discussion not sure why.I asked her to confirm that the service centers are doing work at this time, as I do not want to mail and have it sit there for months ….So 1 hr 20 min and I am waiting to receive a shipping label . I will mail my watch and therefore be without it for weeks likely at my inconvenience. 400.00 ,9 months old over an hour to simply get a fed ex shipping sticker , and I am hesitant to believe they are even open given I had to advise re service centers being closed for drop off due to the Pandemic . An hour of my day, not going to lie, super frustrated and the only real info I got was that if there is physical damage it wont be covered thanks

I am one of those people who show high degree of brand loyalty have been Samsung loyal for years. From TVs to kitchen appliances my house and pockets are full of Samsung brand items. So it was a natural choice to go with the Active2 golf. There are quite few negative reviews out there but perhaps blinded by brand loyalty I went ahead with purchase. The golf support was important but did not work. On day one the location was very leggy and shot distance was off by 30 yards on some shots. Score entry was a problem and I kept finding myself on the wrong hole. After the round the information on the so called premium golf application was even less than my previous free to use golf app. I went to website and followed all the advice to make sure it was all set up correctly. On day two the golf app crashed 5 times on the first hole so the watch ended up in my bag. Ive am going to return it to the vendor and pick a different brand golf based smartwatch. So disappointing and undermined my confidence in brand.

I bought this watch for my husband for his birthday even though he asked me not to spend that kind of money and he LOVES it I am thanked every day for what a great gift he received and how much he enjoys wearing it and how he loves all the features Hes an avid runner, and a very busy guy so getting notifications his wrist has been very helpful. He loves that he can customize the watch face on the fly every day he can change it with his mood. And hes still learning all of the cool things it can do for him. Over all a very solid watch and easy to use

Bought this cracking little watch 2 weeks ago, used to have the Frontier before, then thought I would go down the Fitbit route, I bought the Ionic, good watch but not a patch on the Samsungs, I needed an allround watch not just fitness based. Then I decided to buy the Active 2 Watch, my go what a difference, brilliant little watch, does everything I want and more, comfortable, battery is fine, not a monster battery, needs charging as needed, same as anything the more you use it you expect to charge it, same as your phone. If your thinking about getting one, just bite the bullet, im glad ive come back to Samsung A1

I had the gear sport for 2 years , wanted a change and now my mind is blown. Massive upgrade from the gear sport, and galaxy watch, the design is unique., looks more like a smart watch and not a regular everyday watch . Impressive

I bought this watch on February 2020. So I used it since then. The seller said that If you swim, you can wear it. and I read the document, it is also written. I wear it when I swim on August 2020, it was closed within 5 minutes. Then I cleaned and tried to open it but it could not open. Then I sent it to the technical team, they offered me a price which is equal to the watchs price because they said that it was a customer fault So, I am going to give it to the court It is sad because I could not expect this behaviour from such a great and respectful brand

I must say, this is an excellent wearable, both as a smartwatch and fitness tracker. It is very accurate in terms of counting steps and heart rate and has various functions as a smartwatch that make it very useful such as the ability to directly answer calls and respond to texts regular texts and Whatsapp texts from the watch itself. I bought the 44mm aqua black version in aluminium which is a light shade of black with a deeper tint of blue which looks absolutely stunning. I have 6.5 inch wrists and the straps are a comfortable fit for me.In terms of battery life it performs excellently. One cycle is able to last me the entire week with little to average usage. The digital bezel is also very useful for navigating the interface seamlessly. In terms of Tizen OS more generally I think it is a snappy and responsive interface and there are thousands of watch faces available in the Samsung store to suit the occasion. This is certainly one of the best smartwatches around and I 100 recommend it to anyone looking for a watch that has various smart features and also doubles as a fitness tracker.

Bought as Open Box Excellent and I love love love. No issues or complaints. It does what I need, talk, text, view calendar ect. Love that its waterproof. Can easily buy changeable bands for under 1520 for multi packs of up to 10. My only conflict is that I may be switching to iPhone soon but It will be a great gift I can pass on to someone.

Its been couple of days I started using it. l started loving it , due to below reasons.1. Quite comfortable on wrist2. Sleep tracking is also amazing3. No use of third party apps4. Able to answer calls from watch5. Looks also sportive

I spent several months researching the best watch for me I am an Apple iPhone user but wasnt keen on the Apple Watch. I settled on the Samsung active and decided to pre order the active2. It came a day earlier than expected and a week in I am so pleased with it. Learning something new every day about it but so far holds battery really well, links to my iPhone fine and great fitness tracking. And I love the look of it the 40mm version is perfect for me.

Brought this watch on pre order and I cant stress how bad it was. When I first got the watch I was initially impressed by the features and functionality. Especially the the auto tracking heart rate monitor and the ability to answer calla and speak front the watch due to there now being a speaker and microphone. However the good abruptly stops there this is due to the fact that when I finished charging the watch to 100 and went to bed I woke up to find it had lost over 50 BATTERY. I was appalled by this as it shows just how bad Samsungs quality has reduced over the year. But I thought to myself that this maybe a one off but it kept happening for the 3 nights after. Until I had enough and returned this piece of garbage. The thing I dont understand is why own a watch of you have to put it on charge twice a day. It makes it useless if tour going put anywhere. Also what was unacceptable was when I contacted customer care services the person on the phone had the audacity to say I was lying about this issue. She said and I quote this is the first we have heard about this problem, so I cant be sure about the validity of your claims. Never been across a more rude customer service helper. I was a devote Samsung customer, buying the s3, s4, s6, s7, s8 and numerous TVs but now I will never buy again from them. If you are reading this review go and buy other popular brands of technologywhich I cant state due to the Ts and Cs products that have better features and certainly better quality than Samsung.

On the face of it this Watch looks beautiful. Its well made, has a great display with interesting faces and fast and smartly designed app features. However, the watch is very limited it has very few third party apps and no google pay support big problem in the UK as Samsung doesnt seem that interested in gaining bank support or in introducing PayPal into the pay architecture, unlike in the US.That said whilst these points are a frustration, they arent necessarily a reason not to buy this watch. What is though is the references to the term Active which implies a fitness watch. The simple reality is that the watch plays at this without actually delivering. The step counter is inaccurate, the heart rate monitor inconsistent and the floor counter nonexistent. On a Elliptical machine, the watch failed to count any of the steps taken apple watch did accurately, was 200 calories different to the machine and my average bpm was approximately 15 less than the actual. On a run outdoors portions of the run simply didnt register at all.so the results were unreliable. Check the forums, these issues have been flagged with samsung for years but remain in each iteration of the watch.

Bought this in Feb 2020. It does half of what it says. No ECG, SPO2, BP functions enabled as yet. Misses a Compass. They already seem to have a next version without fulfilling the features of an existing smartwatch. With all this in place, I would call it a complete watch. Right now, without these functions, it is not worth a cent over the discounted original Galaxy Active. I am unable to recommend a half baked product to a friend. Sorry

Wow, this watch is amazing. It is so light in weight, battery lasts about 4 days and looks awesome on my wrist. It does alot, steps, Samsung pay, make calls on it from pm phone, text messages and emails are sent to it. I conducted a reply to email on it. It was very easy to use. I had the the lte model of 46mm and it was awesome too, but was supper heavy in weight. I was kinda surprised when I started using this watch, and was like well its so light, seemed new and shiny and kinda sceptical it would not hold up or keep up due to my last watch. This truly is amazing and its the newer year version. I was so excited I made the jump, and I got the bluetooth version over the LTE because I was not excited in the monthly charge that came along with the LTE version. Except I left my phone at home one day and I had the LTE watch and was able to pay for stuff that day vs going back home to grab the phone. But Im sure I can let that go and just make sure I keep the phone close by. It is so much easier to use then the last years model, so glad I got this one. I so recommend this even if its your first time watch. You wont be disappointed, only amazed and excited in the purchase.

As a former Apple watch and iPhone user when I switch over to a Samsung Galaxy Note 10 plus I continue to wear my Apple watch for the time keeping and heart monitoring ability but I missed being able to communicate with my phone through my watch, take calls, and be able to text as well as many of the other functions. I picked this up at my local Best Buy and I have been thrilled with it ever since especially the sleep tracking and stress monitoring ability.I typically get about a day and a half sometimes two days on a charge and the watch is comfortable and the display is very responsive all in all it is excellent.I have not tested out the water resistance and honestly I dont plan to but Im sure its probably fine.

I am happy with my product. The delivery was super fast. The watch has a beautiful screen. Many watch face options. I really like that it is light weight and comfortable to sleep with. Battery life could be longer and the watch could be slimmer. It works really well together with my galaxy S20 plus. I am satisfied with the workout functions but of course there is room for improvement. For average users it should be enough. Nice design as well and the product feels premium.

Ive used this watch for the last two weeks and used it during my last race a week ago. I absolutely love itI used to run with my phone all the time but I really like the freedom of just running with the watch. I use MapMyRun to track my runs and I use Spotify for my music, so this watch is perfect for me. I really like the live coaching I receive to help ensure Im in range with my cadence to make my run easier, allowing me to go faster and further. My routines from MapMyRun show up automatically on the watch on my run days and I can make adjustments to what feedback I want and when I want it. Plus, I love stats and this watch adds a few extra stats to MapMyRun than what Im used to seeing.I do not regret my decision to make the purchase and would recommend it.

Really good package i would say. The touch bezel seems a bit odd to use in the beginning but you will get used to it in a few days. The tracking system is working great so far and its greatly improved from the galaxy watchi own both. Nice design and a great device overall.

Went swimming at a pool with an active 2 and it pretty much stopped working after a 30 minute swim. Wonder why samsung advertises it as a water proof while it you cant use it in a pool. Contacted samsung and I was told after a year warranty expires on everything. So you can sell an item as waterproof and it is not and get away with expiration.

I bought this watch to push myself to do more exercise and also to monitor my heart rates and stress level regularly. So far it has worked very well and the synchronization with my phone not a Samsung is very easy and smooth.Im looking forward to exploring all major functions of this amazing smart watch.

Love this watch. Already own the 46mm Galaxy watch. Wanted to get a everyday running watch that had the same functionality. Was at first a little reluctant because it was smaller, but it wasnt an issue.
Youve Been Warned –
The actual function of this watch is great I upgraded to this watch from the original Samsung Gear Sport for a reason. HOWEVER This is the 2nd time fool me twice, right that the back cover of the watch, covering the HR monitor, has come unglued and detached from the watch. Thats right the watch that I paid close to 400 for, and is literally made to be sweat on and potentially used underwater is put together with ADHESIVE, that will ultimately break down over time. This happened with my original Samsung watch and it was out of warranty so I moved on and purchased this watch, thinking they must have learned from their mistakes because the back of this watch appeared to be much more solid. Nope, 9 months into ownership the back of the watch comes off.I contact Samsung support thinking it shouldnt be a problem as I am still under warranty. Once I get a hold of someone, they tell me that the damage is esthetic and will therefore not be covered if I want the watch fixed I would have to pay for it out of pocket. ESTHETIC I was under the impression that the back of the watch was integral to the function of the watch itself but apparently not according to Samsung. I did a lot of research online and found all sorts of horror stories along the same line as my own, along with some that were told their watch would be repaired and then Samsung billed their credit cards hundreds of dollars, claiming water damage etc. Anywho, me and my crazy glued 400 watch are going to go buy a Garmin and maybe switch my phone to a Google while Im at it.

Its an awesome watch. The Day I purchased it, It started giving me all my health notifications which i was least bothered before. After wearing this watch, I am more active and health conscious. I love the sleep mode and spotify. I am now able to receive all the calls directly through my watch and when my phone is silent I always come to know if i am getting any calls. So I never miss any calls. Its now part of my life.

I purchased this item open box and it was a great deal. While I didnt receive a charger, it was replacing a similar unit so I already had one. The Under Armour band is nice, but doesnt warrant the extra price tag. All in all, I love the accessibility of my watch and that I can use it to answer calls. I still wish the battery life was better than 4860 hours.

Had several Samsung watches. Gear 2 Neo was one of my previous ones. This watch works well, is fast, can make and receive calls, and has everything I need in a watch to wear every day. Battery lasts about two and a half days with the display off, and GPSWifi Auto, and continuous heart rate turned ON. With the alwayson display, it still lasts a full day and more for me. Either way, I charge it every night, or just set it on the back of my Samsung S10 phone and charge it wirelessly. The touch bezel works great to select options. The glass crystal is Gorilla Glass which should be pretty scratch resistant. Only thing I dont like is that the Samsung app store is filled with a lot of lowquality apps and watch faces. I only use the official apps and watch faces provided by Samsung. Samsung should work on cleaning up the app store of these low quality apps.

I work in the tech industry myself and it blows my mind this is the second one and its just as terrible as the first.I purchased the first one around its launch but I returned it within the 15 days due to what I was told was a defect which was fine it happenes, but waited abit more time incase it was a major release defect with most of the watches. So then I bought my second one March 2020 and I had nothing but problems, not like the first one but actually worse battery lasts maybe 68 hours, features always on lte and always tracking heart rate drained the watch insanely fast. OH and what really got me on this I need the heart tracker and well if you have tattoos or at least colored ones, It will not detect your heart rate which I was very disappointed with only works on my opposing wrist which is not tattooed. The watch doesnt always alert me when I get text messages, only sometimes. So I submitted through manufacturer warranty they repaired the battery and it worked well for 1 or 2 days then back to crap battery. So I submitted again and the watch came back with some other repair which still didnt fix the issue.Super disappointed in this product and the reoccurring issue, sadly wouldnt recommend.

I have had this watch since it first came out, purchased on the first day actually. For me it meets most of my needs and it has performed almost perfectly so far BUT there are a few flaws. Mostly, i am ticked that the watch was advertised as having ECG and it does not. I live in Canada and still this feature isnt on the watch. I hate that it was touted for much and never realized and feel cheated for this. Next, Bixby on the watch sucks big time I had an apple watch before and loved how I could talk to it and it was great, on this watch Bixby is useless, even less than useless. So the talking to the watch feature is non existent for me. This part disappoints me as its cool to just tell your watch to text someone, or to schedule something. overall to me, this is one of the biggest features of a smart watch and this one fails at it. Please use google assistant and it would fix this whole issue. Battery is fantastic…lasts me a couple days at least, its battery life is perfect Charges fast too…just the broken ECG promise and the crappy Bixby, otherwise good watchThanks

I have just bought a Note 10 out right and a Active 2 44mm lte this is after a lot of research. Blue tooth model or lte, you are meant to able to make calls away from the phone in remote mode as long as the phone and watch are on the same WiFi…It doesnt work anymore..The same problem happened almost a year in July and is well documentedin Samsungs online community posts. Guessing Samsung havent updated software inline with latest Android update. Experts reviews all say you can wifi call…all my software is up date to and the watch and phone have been reset. I even attended Samsung experience Princess Street edinburgh….they had no answers but said they would log the issue

I adore this watch, it has all the functionality I need…but I cant wear it. The band leaves me with a painful rash, and I was shocked to see so many other customers complaining of the same issue. I cant find the fabric strap not leather online, so Ill have to buy a knock off fabric strap off Amazon to make this wearable.

Ive had this watch 6 months. Overall Im very happy with it. I would recommend this watch to family and friends non iPhone users of course. I had one other Smart watch running pure Google WatchOS. While the price of that other watch was excellent for a first Smart Watch, the user experience was bad Googles WatchOS is garbage. So I was reluctant to try another Smart Watch, but Im glad I did. Samsung wrote their own Android notification plugin. While I dont like Samsung phones because they skin the OS too much and abandon the OS for security updates etc. too soon. However I really like this watch. I primarily use it for notifications, time, stopwatch, sleep, hear rate and step tracking. OH and I love the ability to have phone conversations through the watch when my phone is in another room. Battery life is really good, even now after 6 months, but I dont turn on WiFi, only BT. I find I have my phone with me all the time anyways so BT for internet access via phone is fine with me. I usually get 2.53 days of light usage between charges. Step tracking works, it auto magically detects activity like biking, rowing, running, walking. I dont know if its accurate, but unlike other people on here that have given this watch poor ratings for inaccurate physical tracking etc. Cmon people, its an approximation. One thing I will agree with others is the App store is limited. However, I didnt buy this watch for the Apps. Its a Watch not a magic wand to do every and anything. Use your phone or laptop. If youre looking for a good quality watch, that works well. Without expecting it to cook you dinner or do your taxes. Youre good to go.

After extensive research, I bought the 44 mm black Bluetooth only, Galaxy active 2 smart watch 4 weeks ago. I can safely say that I have had time to adequately test it. I wore it like a precious ornament. Initially I felt that the battery was draining by 10 per hour for which I switched off every useful feature but that didnt help. I had to perform a system reset on the third day and then it started giving a manageble 2 days on a single charge.Worryingly, I realised that only on the second day there was a small pin point area where the paint was chipped, just where the screen is flushed with the chassis. This was very odd as this area could not be touched or scrapped without damaging the screen and the adjacent chassis which was absolutely fine. Also I wear the watch on my left wrist and this side is facing away from my hand and wont be exposed to unintentional scrapes.I then became even more careful while wearing it but unfortunately, last week, a second small mark found its place near the previous one and just now, to my absolute dismay, I have found that the paint has been chipped from a third spot as well. I had read previous reports of the similar problem in the reviews for the black colour but I felt it could be a faulty item for them and I should be alright. Unfortunately, this wasnt the case. I am so annoyed with the build quality. In other areas, the software is laggy and the screen takes a pause after touching it before it wakes up.I am attaching the photo of the paint chip in case someone else feels they have the same problem in a similar area.I strongly ask the Samsung team to look into these quality control issues. These watches are supposed to have build quality to last for a couple of years my friends have 1st Gen apple watches in great condition despite regular rigorous use. The costumer support team plainly blames this on the costumer for not being careful which is not only rude but also a tactic to shift the blame. My leap of faith in Samsung, unfortunately this time, hasnt landed me anywhere.

This watch is great for gettingstaying fit. It has your general day to day features like texting and music. I think its well worth the money especially if youre looking for a watch that has your fitness options on it along with the ability to use it as a day to day watch. I use the run feature a ton and it works well for that purpose. Highly recommend this watch.

Its one of the bestlooking smartwatches out there, Im very satisfied. The fit and finish of the watch itself are great, performance is excellent, smooth scrolling and opening apps. Setup is easy, and the Bluetooth pairing was solid, not dropping or weak unless you are out of range. This is a great smartwatch to add to your Samsung ecosystem.

ABSOLUTELY APPALLED TO FIND YOU DONT OFFER A WARRANTY My watch is a few month old and the step count and heart rate monitor has stopped working. This is my 2nd Samsung watch. I love all of the features on this watch even though I do not use many of them. For me, one of the great features on this one compared to my last one is the ability to answer phone calls on it. My last one allowed you to answer it but then I still needed to run to my phone to hear and talk to the person. This watch you can have full conversations and you can hear them just fine, and they can hear you. Its nice to have that capability when working on projects where a phone isnt the best option, and a quick slide of the finger lets you answer the phone. I love the health aspects of this phone too. It keeps track of my heart rate, counts my steps, and there are too many other health features to list. You can add so many things to this watch. My husband never thought he would wear a watch because everything he needs is on his phone. He tried it out and loves it He said he would probably always wear a watch if it was this kind

The paint on the edge started peeling off after 1 week of wearing. I thought it was normal, while comparing with a friend that has the same watch, noticed that my black watch its not really black, but dark blue. Very strangeFurther, Im really satisfied with the features. Still waiting for an app to pay with my smartwatch.I would advise everyone to buy the stainless steel version or another color in aluminum and spare them this problem I have.

I am going on a month of this watch with no problems. I actually had the chance to compare my heart rate during a routine doctors appt. The numbers on my watch were almost identical to watch the medical staff was getting. Fortunately was due for an EKG at the time. As far as functionality, i am very pleased with how much use i get with the watch other than workouts.

DO NOT BUY THIS WATCH IF YOURR AFTER A RELIABLE WORKOUT TRACKING DEVICE. A great looking really user friendly watch totally let down by its shocking workout tracking. The watch GUESSES your calories burned based on your weight and heart rate. This is really poor for a fitness watch. Bought as a present for my wife, wish Id bought a different product now. Compared to Garmon watches and other decent devices the Samsung is 100s of calories out. Sleep tracker is hit and miss too. So all in it looks nice but doesnt do what it should.

I bought this watch because Samsung advetised the watch with ecg and blood pressure monitor yet there is no plan to release for Australia up to date. Aluminium bezzle can be scrtatched easily by even plastic water bottles. Such a disappointment.

Honestly, I love this watch. My husband and I are die hard Samsung users in our household. We both have the original Samsung Galaxy Watch. After 3 years, like most devices with constant use, my battery slowly started to lose charge. I liked the Galaxy watch but I found it was just big and bulky on my wrist. Recieved a TON of compliments on it and my husband adores his, however I also found it difficult to work out with as well as heavy. Ive had my eye on the Active2 for quite a while but couldnt justify buying it until I finally got sick of constantly charging my galaxy watch. I found the galaxy watch inaccurate with quite a few of the fitness trackers and sleep. Once I purchased the Active 2, I was instantly happier. The charge lasts tenfold longer than my galaxy watch, its slimmer, way lighter and fits better on my wrist. The band is so comfortable and super easy to work out and sleep with. So far I found everything on point and just overall way happier with it. Not that I use the speaker on it but it works better than my galaxy watch did. Again, my husband swears by his Galaxy watch but he doesnt rely on his for fitness, work and the things I need in my smartwatch. I do suggest buying a screen protector obviously. Will most likely buy the upgraded model in the future if Samsung continues to make the Active line which I really hope they do…, and I will definitely recommend to friends and family.

This smartwatch is perfect, it was easy to set up, has excellent feature sets, and is perfect for my needs. I had originally tried using a Fitbit Charge 4 and it was a huge mistake. This watch just performs so much better, has a significantly better build in design, and is honestly on par with the experience that I have received using something akin to an Apple watch. Overall would recommend for anyone that owns a Samsung smartphone as it fits well within the ecosystem.

Pros Step counter seems accurate, can change watch faces easily, a fair selection of faces comes with purchase, if you want something special other faces are cheap to buy. Heart rate measuring is often a bit off else I am not as well as I feel. Samsung Pay is easy to set up and use. See little point in having emails or texts as watch needs a phone to pick em up. Phone finder can be useful. Havent tried the waterproof setting yet. Am considering setting it up as a standalone watch, that way battery may last longer than two to three days. There is more to the watch than I have mentioned, perhaps it is fine as I havent looked for another since buying mine.Cons Buying it didnt improve me life in an extraordinay way.

Best smart watch available. Even better than the Galaxy 2 watch or any Apple Watch. Active 2 watch is much lighter and more comfortable than the Galaxy 2. A smart watch should look like you watch. That said if you want a smart watch that looks like a real watch go get a Tudor or Seiko not a smart watch trying to look like a watch. Active 2 and Galaxy 2 have very similar options and configurations. I prefer a round face over the ugly square Apple watch. Highly recommended

I bought this watch because it is the best watch I could find for my galaxy s9. Its beautiful, a ton of great features to stay active, and on and on. I have one major complaint I have a pin set to activate if the watch is taken off my wrist and this make the watch constantly lock on me, even if it is on my wrist. On two separate occasions this happened and I type the pin incorrectly once and my watch was completely erased. This is very frustrating. Also dont like that it is very easy to get tiny trash stuck between the bezel and screen but very difficult to get it out.

So my Ionic was 3 years old and I wanted a watch that got actual notifications. This was what I decided on after some research. So far has seemed pretty accurate. I dont run but it picks up on walks, rowing, and even that Im just active in general. The sleep pattern is somewhat accurate but I dont expect it to be perfect. I use that as a general how restless was I.Overall the watch is comfortable and doesnt feel like it sticks to me. Charging is a little odd with the wireless but more because the disk could use a stand to keep it from moving. It takes about 2 hours to fully charge the watch, but if you put it on to charge when you shower or during an inactive time you may never notice it taking long. It can charge from samsung phones and tablets using the battery share and at about the same rate. The app has a lot more for free than the fitbit app did so thats a big bonus. It has a food tracker, exercise tracking, heart rate and a lot of watch face choices. There are achievements and rewards for activity and sleep if you like to have preset goals mostly they are around doing better than you have prior.I do have a problem that I havent looked into, when I stand with my arms crossed it tends to activate the change screen face ability. I feel it vibrate, just tap the screen and adjust my arms.

Love this watch was skeptical about buying a smart watch but needed something to moniter my heartrate and i find myself using this thing more then i anticipated only thing i have to say is getting something to protect the screen is a must. i work construction and it scratches easily

Pros Notifications. It also looks like a watch not a pc attached to your arm. The 40 mm is a lovely watch sized device. I am a man with normal sized wrists. The larger size was way too big and looked a bit silly. The battery is great given what it doesCons Would be nicer if it was thinner. Quite a bit of the capability advertised needs additional apps.

Firstly, the watch ONLY works on EE, and even then, you need a separate SIM plan with a different mobile number for it.Secondly, it is not compatible with Android Google Pay, and so the only way to use it for paying with is if you have one of the very few bank credit cards that support Samsung Pay. Sadly this list is very limited, and hasnt changed in 2 years.I ordered 3 of the 4G watches for myself and family members, and all 3 have been returned. Its a shame, because other features of the watch are really great, but without decent mobile network or Samsung Pay support it really is not worth the money.

Overall the Galaxy watch does have a lot going for it and use the health features daily to monitor my activity levels. Great while out being able to see ho is calling or read a txt message without having to pull out my mobile deviceBattery life is not great and requires being charged daily depending on what i use the Watch forBiggest disappointment is the ECG feature still has not been enabled in New Zealand I brough the Active2 after being told by Samsung staff it was going to be activated soon. Since then the feature has been activated in approx 31 countries. No one at at any Store, Samsung Kiosk, or even Samsung support NZ can give me information about when the ECG feature will be activated. I consider it very poor service if Samsung NZ cannot help. Other Watch and fitness trackers like Apple has ECG enabled in NZ… so it is very confusing why Samsung is so slow in doing a global ECG enable. If you dont mind, desire or need a feature like ECG, it is over all not a bad Watch. But considering i brought the Watch for the ECG feature along with everything else built in, i currently feel short changed. Currently i do not recommend this watch to anyone including my work until such a time as all features are enabled. And out of principle for the lack of information from Samsung NZ in this matter, being the sole person responsible for selecting mobile phones and even Watches, I am avoiding all samsung product purchases and getting other brands.Very disappointing Samsung

My Gear watch went from working freely for 3 days at a time to just over 5 to 6 hours in battery saving mode after the previous update. The latest update has not fixed things. If not fixed soon it will end up in the recycling, and last gear watch ever. I am so sad as I loved my watch. Please give an option to roll back the updates and go back 2 weeks until you come out with a fix.

I am enjoying my purchase so far. I went to Best buy on purchased the product on sale Also, I purchased the protect warranty in case the watch have issues down the road. The watch has helped me lose 10 pounds of body fat and keeps me updated when its time to get up and move around from my desk. This was a great purchase and investment for my health.

Purchased as I have a heart condition and meed to be able to check my heart rate frequently. Screens flick off after a few seconds even when set to constant. Watch freezes often after techarging. Heart rate stays frozen for an hour or more after charging, sometimes. Just too many problems to be worth it. Ended up buying a cheap heart rate watch to use when this one messes up. Using the cheap one a lot. Much work is needed on this watch and app.

i am sorry to say that i have switched back to fitbit after only a few months use. i just cant get over the battery life. i had to charge it almost every single day. my fitbit i charge about once a week. everything that i used on this watch i can do on my fitbit… i would give this one star if it werent for how comfortable this watch is and hte fact that i can wirelessly charge it from my phone. it is much more comfortable than the fitbits which might be due to its smaller size and round shape. i think if they improved the battery life, i would for sure be a loyal user. if you dont mind charging your watch every day, then i would highly recommend this watch as everything else works flawlessly and the display is beautiful.

Coming from a galaxy watch which I liked but had to return as I had a skin reaction.I love the new digital dial and features on the watch active 2.Im disappointed with the screen. Its vibrant etc but the 44mm resolution is too low. A lot more pixelated coming from the galaxy watch or the smaller active .Its very noticeable with text and icon shapes etc. Wish the 44mm had a slightly higher Res screen to make up for the extra size.Second is performance. Ive reset a couple times but swiping through menus etc feels choppy and laggy. I didnt notice anything like this on my galaxy watch or my wifes gen 1 active.Theres no denying its a brilliant bit of kit but the below par performance and pixelated screen is making me second guess my purchase right now

Pros The watch looks stunning. This is assisted by the countless watch faces you can use including one that changes to your outfit or favourite colours and the easily interchangeable straps. That being said, the standard black rubber strap is comfortable and sufficient on its own to wear at any occasion and for fitness use.Cons The battery life is dire. The watch can give information on sleep, but i have not had the watch be able to run over 24 hours to be able to make full use of this. Comparing this to other brands which can have up to a week battery life, it leaves something to be desired.

This was a gift from the spouse. Mainly for a golf watch. Ive owned other GPS yardage devices and this one is not so good. First yardage is slooow to register. I sometimes move 5 yards either closer or further than my ball and watch changes by 1520 yards. Sometimes just not moving and yardage is constantly changing. I own a 75 dedicated golf GPS and it doesnt act erratically.2ND the face is always changing from watch click face to Golf GPS. Constantly shaking wrist or tapping face is annoying. If you want a golf device, go purchase a dedicated watch like a Garmin…

Pros Love my watch… its comfortable and not too big on my wrist. Love playing around changing the faces and that I can be anywhere and be notified of facebook whats app ring doorbell insta etc…. Ive not used it for fitness yetCons Only had it a few days and havent fully used it all yet. I tried to sleep with it on but everytime I moved my arm it lit up which was annoying so I took it off…. altho there might be a way of stopping this that Im unaware of
Suzanne –
Pros It looks nice and the strap is nice on the skin. It functions well as a watch but it just lacks that something the fit bit has.Cons The battery life is terrible, it has to be charged every night if you dont want it dying on you half way through the next day.

I got the 4G pink 40 MM, Galaxy active 2, been waiting since Aug when it was released so been waiting for such a long time to get it.It finally the day arrives I can buy the watch. Where the problem starts, I had 4 cancellation before it finally accepted my payment for me to purchase.I finally recieved the watch and it was love at first site, the colour is better then I thought, the size is perfect fit for my tiny little wrist. The way they present it looks perfect.Topped my expectations. Then setting it up 1 Went to the gym thinking I can use my bluetooth headset and wouldnt connect, looked at all forums online and nothing worked2 Emails will not connect to my watch at all3 connecting my watch to my network VODAFONE the big reason why I got this watch in the first place.Went into the store got it all connected and past 3 days it just wont connect looked on comments here and spoke to samsung and they havent got any network set up so WHY ARE THEY SELLING THIS AS A LTE FOR MORE MONEY WITH NO BACK UP NETWORK IS BEYOND ME, samsung should of waited till they had everything on the watch, not just release it because Apple have theres outI love samsung products and have promoted to family and friends to get a samsung but the watch was highly disappointing

Quick and Easy Navigation access many apps such as Accessing viewing Messages and calling people though the watch with built in speaker and mic which makes it easy to talk to someone in call using the watch. It really good that Samsung virtual assistant is built in watch , which useful when trying to message someone or finding out the weather. The watch is very good battery get more than 1 day battery out of it.

Pros Looked really nice and very comfortable. Great screen and plenty of features.Cons I wanted to use it to track activities, home workouts, runwalks but it didnt sync very well with strata, which is what I use. Some days it did it others it didnt. Very inconsistent.

Bought for the wife. My wife loves it. The large watch face is great. Plenty of watch faces to choose from. The watchband is comfortable. Able to reply to texts and phone calls from the watch.
Sandra –
Pros no good points… Disappointed and frustrated with this watch, which is theworst purchase Ive ever made. And Samsungs customer service and tech staff are inept, unhelpful, and frankly, completely useless.Cons The only improvement would be take a leaf out of apples book. Samsung cannot produce good products.

Great watch. Picked it up today. I exchanged the black aqua blue one simply for aesthetic reasons. Even if you dont need the UA software the all black is very nice and worth it. I missed that from the S3 Frontier. The band is also a bit higher quality in my opinion as it has breathable ridges underneath and better for sizing. Overall any Active 2 style though is excellent. Its light, runs super fast and has good battery life. This absolutely holds its own as the best watch for any Android user.
Slawomira –
First its the first Samsung watch that I got. So far I love it, almost never move it. I like the fact that I dont need to remove my phone from my pocket all the time for change, stop, or even start the music. The step are great and very accurate. Very good product.
JaseG –
I hadnt tried on the watch prior to pirchasing it so I was a bit unsire about the size I went for the 44mm. It is perfect. Looks good, feels secure, the straps fit perfectly. Very easy to set up, Still trying to work out how to get Strava on it, but not going to score it down because of that. All in all I am extremely please with the watch. Cannot wait to get some rides, runs and swims in. And I have to say that it looks a lot better than my Mrs apple watch Also managed to get the deal for the Duo charger, so looking forward to getting that when it arrives in stock
nkoukour –
Quite happy with it It picks up on the workout automatically and it keeps good track of it. However, only when you choose the training, the watch will provide a full report, otherwise it will omit some parameters. I would like a better interface and connectivity with Spotify and a proper app for Phillips HUE.
SweetPea85 –
Dont get this product. Only good as a basic watch. Does not hold a charge. try too exchange it to be rejected and can no longer return. A fortune on a product that does not work as described. Cant say much else because of the censors in reviews. Try again. Never been so disappointed. Everything I have is Samsung. Does not meet expectations at all.

This is definitely the best smartwatch in the market currently. I went through numerous comparison videos before buying this and am super happy with the purchase. The options for watch faces are unlimitedyou can wear a different watch face every day to suite ur style. Connects flawlessly with my galaxy s10 plus and records activity automatically. The interface display is beautiful
GolfRGirl –
Unfortunately, I bought this watch after being a long time Fitbit user and was accustomed to charges that would last upwards of week while running constant heart rate and using to receive all sorts of notifications including email, text, phone, social media, etc. Ive had to only connect my phone, text messages, and calendar and only intermittent heart rate monitoring. Basically I use no other features and this watch gets a day. If I play a round of golf, I get the round and maybe two extra hours. Having to charge it constantly defeats it from being a fitness tracker because I need to constantly leave it behind. Also, I only get to use a few of the features the product boasts because the battery life is so poor.

I gave myself the Galaxy Watch Active2 as a gift for starting my healthy lifestyle journey. Now its my daily motivation to keep track of my progress on my new healthy habits, and it reminds me every hour to get up and stay active, especially now during the Corona lockdown where working at home makes me lose track of time. Its features are very easy to understand and userfriendly, especially in combination with the Samsung Health App. Nowadays I keep track of my Steps, Exercise, Sleep, Weight, Water intake, Heart Rate and control my Stress through daily Meditation. I am very happy and motivated to reach my daily targets, and am very grateful that I got my Active Watch2 to help me.
Bryceg95 –
Lovely looking watch with a nice sleek design and built quality is half decent too. Battery is also brilliant and can get around 2 days out of it if the always onscreen is turned off and depending on usage. The only problem I have with this watch and this is really making me think about changing from the galaxy watch back to wear is is the lack of apps you can get on this watch all galaxy watches I find this very hard to enjoy the watch as there isnt really a lot you can do with the watch compare to lets say the Apple watch or wear os interface, Really hope Samsung do invest on updating their galaxy store as this really does spoil the enjoyment out of one of the flagship watches that are on the market right now.

Pros My daughter loves this watch. It sinks in with her galaxy phone. It came as a package with the upgraded charger which is also great as she can charge her phone and watch together by lying them flat and no extra cablesCons None

This is my second Samsung watch. I already have the Galaxy watch. After using it for more than a year I decided to buy Active 2.The design is stylish and the display is very good. Initially I ordered Garmin but look and feel of the watch was not good at all that too the at higher cost. The app sync with the watch is very smooth.I am using it during walk and biking and the activity monitoring is very accurate. Also I am using a navigation App from Samsung store which is helping me to navigate during biking using google map. Also the idle sitting reminder is very nice which keeps me moving after intervals. This watch is awesome, just go for it.

After buying this watch a couple of months ago, to replace a faulty smartwatch different brand and different OS, I have been nothing but impressed with it. It is very price competitive with other watches in this category, if not one of the best priced devices.I have the 40mm Bluetooth version which works well with my S20 and Galaxy Buds.My only note would be that after buying the black version of the watch, that is it not jet black more of a dark navy, possibly making alternate straps slightly harder to colour match. But to me personally that was a minor detail.

My overall verdict for this smart watch is very good. Like every piece of tech, it has its positives, but also its negatives.Ive owned the Galaxy Watch Active 2 for around a year and a half now, and I think its fair to say Ive put it through its paces too. Overall, I think its a pretty solid smartwatch for its price range Id recommend it to anyone buying a smartwatch for the first time with an orientation for workouts and exercise. However, It does have room for improvement.Firstly, the main reason to buy this watch is its wide array of fitness functions, on the whole, it performs admirably. This watch using the builtin Samsung Health app comes with a very wide array of fitness functions cycling, running, treadmill, etc and within each comes a fully customizable set of menus which are fantastic. In addition, the watches Samsung Health App is more or less identical to Samsung Health on your phone, meaning you can track everything from sleep to calories. However, the technicalities are where you run into issues. Firstly, the battery drain when tracking workouts is significant, about an hour of cardio exercise can drain you anywhere from 10 to 30, values vary depending on certain factors however I noted it to be significantly poor. This point is strengthened with everyday use, if you workout at the gym, and plan on using this device a fair amount during the day for notifications, messages, etc, then you definitely will not be getting anywhere near the quoted twoday battery life. Especially after around 6 months of use, where I noticed a random drop in battery life from around two days and a half days of lightmoderate use to just barely two days.Secondly, the watches sensors arent brilliant, 75 of the time they work just fine, but that remaining 25 exposes you to an erratic, unpredictable and inconsistent mess. For example, when beginning a workout such as a hike or walk, sometimes the workout will completely cancel for no reason, leaving you with disappointing workout results of 17 seconds with 1 calorie burned. In addition, when running or even just measuring your heart rate, the sensors are sometimes way off. Ive even compared it to my friends Apple Watch Series 4 which gave consistent readings each time, compared to this watches sometimes long and unreliable readings. Furthermore, when using workouts such as dumbbells, the builtin detector for each rep is often wrong. Finally, just a general observation about the watches Samsung Health App a few months ago, the app received an update that updated the overall appearance of the app. On the whole, it was very good, everything was sleeker, more functional, however, it removed one of my favourite features having the centre value on the workout display being a bold green colour, which really helped identify that particular readout from the others. Sadly, it was removed and a more boring and dull colour took its place.Thirdly, despite these somewhat negative points, this watch is also brilliant. In terms of setup, the process couldnt be easier, and sleeker. The pairing process takes around 3 to 5 minutes and the Galaxy Wearable App that manages the device is fantastic. Its on another level compared to Apples pitiful attempt. While the app can be a little laggy when switching between it and other apps, the app itself is beautiful and efficiently categorised. Just about everything is controllable through the app, with customisations and cool features for literally every occasion. Samsung honestly did a great job with this app. Onto the watch itself, the screen is significantly larger around 20 compared to the Active, and the bezel surrounding the display is very responsive. However, Im not sure if this is limited to my watch but the Active seems to have a crisper and more colourful display, and seemingly better performance when switching between icons. In addition to this, the screen is where you run into more problems. I took it swimming and pretty much straight away I put a small scratch in the display which completely ruins the clean and sleek look of the watch face if you get this device, invest in a screen protector I always find myself worrying about hitting it against walls and objects. For everyday tasks like notifications, reminders etc, this watch really excels, Samsung has incorporated animations to make the process seamless, even for third party applications. When calling on this device, the audio output through the builtin speakers are good, volumewise theyre pretty loud, however towards the top end the audio really degrades, the microphone quality Ive been told is second to none, most people cant differentiate between a mobile phone and this jewel. The watch faces are all good enough. Some are good, others seem a little rushed and designed by a 7yearold. Apps for this device are good, and you can install a variety of thirdparty applications too, most of which are paid for and dont seem to be very refined. Samsungs builtin applications such as clock, and weather are all pretty good, nothing to rave about though. Also, the Bluetooth connection can be a tad patchy, sometimes cutting out and even requiring a restart.Build quality and hardwarewise, I would say overall very good. The strap mechanism is brilliant and sophisticated, Ive never had any issues with it, Its well built and is easy to remove. However, will need occasional cleaning due to builtup sweat and moisture etc. The main body itself is good, a little fragile but robust enough, be careful of the glass heartrate sensor, scratches could reduce the performance. The included wireless charger is very good, a full charge takes around 1 hour 50 to 2 hours.Overall, Its a good watch, especially compared to its counterparts. Its price range seems to be a sweet spot. However, I do find myself rooting for a newer, and more refined Apple Watch, so unless Samsung up the game with new features and performance, they could be losing the battle very soon. If you want to stick with Samsung, I would also recommend the Galaxy Watch, especially for men. Its more robust and defiant characteristics appeal more to me as a male. All things considered, Its a very good watch for firsttimers, and exercise is definitely a strong suit.I recommend this product.

It is a great watch, nice battery life, i use it for heart rate monitoring and workouts. I bought this watch because Samsung promised ecg functionality. Recently is have noticed samsung took down the mention of the watch having ecg from the website and makes me wonder if its ever coming i hope it is. I recommend this product over other watches out there. Also the stress functionality is not available in canada. That was a bummer.

Not impressed with the watch for the amount of money it cost Voice recognition and typing is terrible Useful App selections are rare Its great for telling time and reading text but I expect a lot more for the money Im not an apple fan but Apple watch blows this thing out the water

Just be aware that these are refurbished which is not mentioned in the description 1.5 stars for poor description. It came in a plain white box clearly labeled Refurbished. Because I did not want a refurbished watch I ended up returning it. Mastertronics made made me pay for the return even though it was their error 1.5 stars for that. If you are OK with a refurbished watch then this might be for you.

Like the watch but the battery life is terrible. I have to charge it every day opposed to my old fitbit which only needed charging couple of times a week if that. I have tried numerous things to try and prolong life to no avail. Good job I am working from home atm as not sure if it would last the day if out and about and in the office

This is a beautiful, light watch with a great screen. However there are many issues with it so far. First off, it is near unusable when connected to UA hovr sneakers and Bluetooth headphones simultaneously… The reason UA branded it Extreme stuttering with music and voice like watch cannot handle the connection to the ua hovr shoes and headphones. If you move watch closer to the hovr Shoes it improves… But I dont think Ill run with watch on my shoe The heart rate monitor is frequently innacurate , especially when running. It also cuts out and stops well before your workout is complete sporadically. Very disappointed so far in the functioning of the watch after owning previous gear 3 and galaxy watch.

The model I have is a silver 44mm model. The watch arrived in a nice and friendly package, the setup was easy since I own a Galaxy S10. The phone recognised the watch immediately and offered pairing with it.The watch itself is quite comfortable to wear. Battery lasts for approx. 2 days with bluetooth only connectivity and WiFi only location settings. When WiFi connectivity is on, then the battery lasts less then an hour so I keep it off.The sensitive scroll bezel is fun but I stick to the standard screen swip to swap between screens and widgets.Automatic training detection works quite precise. It can detect when I am walking for a long period and starts tracking it as a sport activities.I tried it while running the pulse, duration and route are captured quite accurate. The other activity tracking like bench press isfun, but I could not find a way to provide a weight so currently only number of repetitions is tracked which is still ok.Sleep summary is also quite nice, different phases of sleep are detected, including heart rate and duration of sleep. Handy to track sleep quality.Overall the watch is OK, although a bit price. Battery life is definitely very great since I did not expect it to run for more than 2 days.

I have been using this watch for 2 months now. Goal was to replace golf GPS and fitbit with one device. The golf app is really poor and hard to use. It constantly asks if I want to exit the app during a round. It kicks out of the app 3 or 4 times a round. Buttons on map are very small and hard to manage.Fitness options seem to work ok for. Great idea in principle but still needs some programming updates to improve.

Owned for about a year now. Screen is prone to scratching. Otherwise, great watch. Syncs flawlessly with Samsung health and strava, once you set it up. And i can store music from spotify locally on the device so I can listen to music without needing my phone or a cellular connection.

I just bought the watch today and found out that they only give you one sized wrist band. I went back to the store but they didnt have a Small size for me to exchange. I went online to their help store and apparently they dont exchange the wrist bands you need to purchase a new one. I shouldnt have to purchase a separate wrist band after spending 450 Im sorry thats just ridiculous to me. The older models came with different sizes. Id much rather return this and get the older model.
Vlynnrn –
Nice product, not fond of the band. The salesman told me I could replace it with one from Fossil. Guess what, he lied. Really upset me to know this. Dont trust what their salespeople tell you. Do your research first. I trusted this youngman. Not happy with him Will make it know to management.Seems to be a good product.

I bought this watch and immediately regretted my decision.I took it out for a run and was surprised to see the level of calories burned. I did some tests and, guess what, it doesnt even use your heart rate to track calories burned. Thats right, you can put it on a workout, set it on a table, and it will assume you are exercising while estimating calories based on time.In addition, Spotify is straight up broken on the watch. It freezes any time you have it open. Not only that, it even manages to freeze it on my phone. Clean installs and all troubleshooting do not fix this issue. After research, this has been a known problem of the watch for over 7 months and they still have not fixed it.The fact that they branded this watch active is a joke. It looks nice though.
Anne –
Pros Looks sleek and nice on the wrist.Cons Difficult to navigate, options not intuitive and too many features. If I thought I had personalised something, the next day it was gone and back to how it used to be. This is a great watch for people who enjoy spending a lot of time exploring the watch options and playing around with the settings but not for me. Battery life was very short too.
Eejlny –
I have the Bluetooth version and I got a card from one of the compatible banks. I installed everything correctly but when I try to pay the NFC in the watch only gets recognised maybe 1 out of 10 times. So basically you get the watch near the reading device and it says card not recognized , you keep trying different positions and finally it accepts it. Obviously you look like an idiot during the whole process. My friend with an apple watch works first time. What is the solution to this
Anonymous –
Read some less than stellar reviews. But after 3 days, it performing well so far. Pretty disappointed that doesnt have ECG or Blood Pressure or Stress monitors as those are key reasons I bought it. Hoping Health Canada approves the ECG and Blood Pressure monitors asap. The Samsung Health app needs serious work. Came from a Fitbit and it was leaps as bounds more advanced. Just dont like their recent styling.

Love this watch I been looking for a good smart watch for awhile, but couldnt get over the price Got this as an open box great deal It does everything I want in a smart watch. The battery life is only about 2 days, but I turn off the watch at night. This save battery and lasts for about 3 days now. Highly recommend

Best smartwatch I have owned. Previous watch brands FitbitMotoOlder Samsung. Great looking and very comfortable. Goes with casual or dress attire. Only one star deducted for intergration with Under Armour. Not that I dont like Under Armour because I do and that is one of the perks of buying this watch. However, mapmyrun from Under Armour which comes preinstalled doesnt alway run smooth. I find myself using Samsung health more noe because it runs great.

Watch is awesome I work around steel 700t presses all day constantly hitting my watch on solid steel and it has yet to crack or scratch on the face. The black painted casing has some paint that has scraped a away but it gives the watch character. Ive love my Samsung watch

I received this watch as a birthday gift about two years ago, and ave worn it daily since. Right off the bat, it would last approximately 2 days, a huge step down from my last watch that would last a month. The screen is somehow too sensitive but never sensitive enough. For example, in order to preserve the battery life, I have it set to black when not activated, however it should activate when I motion my wrist to my face, and adjust the brightness accordingly. Well, 99 of the time the watch does not activate when motioned, and if I press the button, it will turn on at the darkest setting until I place it in direct sunlight, where it will then illuminate so I can read the time. This is frustrating as it takes about 5 seconds to check the time, which should take 0.2 of a second. When I get a notification, the watch will buzz, and Ill flip my wrist to look at it, however it will not activate, so when I press a side button to turn on the screen, it clears the notification. The funniest part is that my watch constantly activates at night while I sleep, shining at highest brightness directly in my face. I even have the setting in place where it shouldnt activate on do not disturb, but oh well. The screen is incredibly sensitive to most touch, meaning any time I have my arms crossed or my arm resting on a surface, my watch will activate and start scrolling through apps. This means having my arms crossed activates Find My Phone which sends my phone blaring, deletes my backgrounds, sets alarms, etc. Seems ironic to me that my watch doesnt turn on when I need to see it, but turns on every time I dont.Other than that, I like the watch strap and how it tucks into itself, preventing it from catching on other items. The sleep tracking appears fairly accurate too, which is nice. Since the charge dies so quickly I often do not get to wear it to sleep anyways, but alas.

Pros Its fast, battery time a lot longer than Gear2.The Samsung Health running metrics section provides excellent feedback on your run, your Asymmetry, contact time, flight time, regularity, vertical and stiffness with a brief explanation of what each means and how Im doing on each. Obviously more established runners wouldnt use this but it helps me.Cons Although I am right handed, I wear it on my right hand so the buttons are on the wrong side. Left handed people must have this issue on all watches so it would be good to have a left handed version.

I preordered this watch and it arrived a day early, thanks Samsung I previously owned a fitbit but decided to buy this because of its features and because its sleeker and better in every way and I was definitely not disappointed The battery life is actually longer than stated and it can last longer depending on what you use it for and what notifications you want to receive. I bought the bluetooth aqua black 44mm version, Im female and Ive always liked watches with a big dial, looks great on my wrist. Theres a wide range of watch faces to choose from and you can also customise these too colour, if you want it to show your heart rate, steps, date, weather etc. Great piece of kit.
Watch overheats –
Bought this watch under a year ago, 600. I have pictures of it always heating up, then it shuts down. Pictures are date stamped and time stamped, have lots of them. Samsung now tells me theres nothing wrong with it, lol. Many people have this issue. Overheats, battery drains, watch shuts down, samsung doesnt have an answer why. Please google samsung watch overheating, its on the samsung blogs.

This watch has everything I need, especially an excellent battery life and water protection. Charges fast, battery will last days for me if I dont charge it. I tested it in the pool last week, and its still good to go I work outside a lot, and it keeps up with me. Definitely recommend this watch Plenty of awesome watch faces available too

This Watch proved to be a key to active Life.I liked how it keeps me active all day helps me manage my day, from telling me its time to walk to steps are not enough to Good job well done.It is like my very own health mentor coach, of course free.Working from home I cant be infront of laptop due to taking care of kids, so it keep me reminded, if i get a important or urgent call or email.Keeps me aware of my sleep duration, stress and heart, some important things for me to keep an eye on.Helps me also manage my exercise time table and calories.Last but not least, design is so comfortable and beautiful I feel good when ever I look at it. Software easy to use and its fun to play with Apps and faces.I do miss LTE GSM function, may be next watch Overall, Go Active with Samsung

Pros Watch has excellent interface with my samsung phone. Looks great on I have small wrists. Reduces the need to look at phone so often. Helps keep track of my steps. Easy to take phone calls and read texts.Cons Could come with charging plug. But did get lead and charging point.

save your money. Mine was bought brand new, stopped giving notifications at 8 days. Went a few rounds with Samsung help and nothing came of it was told to send for warranty…the 1 yr mfg that comes with. Surprise…a bill for 150 sent due to this watch being an international version with no warranty in US…. Best Buy has been useless in this situation as well. Save your money..i am out 330. Save your time..being told to take a hike so many times gets old.

Very comfortable watch with all possible fitness features that are useful. The GPS is very accurate. The pedometers and stair counter too. The function to measure blood pressure is as good as a professional blood pressure monitor if set correctly. The ECG function is also a nice extra. You can set the background with your own design. All important parameters can be seen at a glance. The wireless charging takes 90 minutes, which means you can easily continue for 2 days with intensive use. Given the low price, a must for anyone who is sporty.

I was extremely dissapointed with how much crippleware this watch is.. Pretty much nothing works.Weather Nope, you cant select a city to monitor and you must waste battery on 247 phone GPS usage or else it hides the weather data, even though it knows what city you were in. Why Thats useless and nooope, it can NOT use its own GPS… that thing is just there to look pretty on the spec sheet..And no, there are no thirdparty weather apps in the galaxy store either, no one seems to want to touch tizen even with pliars and there arent any app support. No text messages or emails on iPhone.. Apples selfinflicted problem but still..Web browser is a nightmare to navigate, it could easily be improved with basic features. You cant have it connected to the phone and use any feature that require WIFI at the same time.. it just refuses to and will not change between BTWIFI automatically either so you have to waste time on navigating through the menus and error messages to turn off BT or WIFI respectively depending on what it is currently throwing errors about..Every aspect of this smartwatch is punishing to the user, and a true crippleware experience. Its such a shame since the physical design is really great and the watch certainly has good enough performance to offer basic functionality.. If only it hadnt been completely butchered by terrible software.

Sadly the gift I received for Christmas has lost its spark… frequently drops charge Im less than 10 hours and if you use an activity app battery life is limited. Not a moan as this has happened on numerous occasions but today tops it off… full charged at 10.45 and its now just died Only general wear today used as a watch not great and so disappointed

confusing to use and get set uptoo sensitive.. some how tracked me driving as swimming simply sitting resting your arm on your leg sets off the watchwould not recommend for calorie tracking as total daily calories burned is inaccurate and uses strange formula to gain this information instead of basing it on actual activityapp difficult to use and see simple information such as yesterdays activitywould not recommend to any serious active watch users.. especially to those looking simple overall day to day information such as calories burned.

I would like my money back. I waited a couple of months before reviewing to be sure I knew what i was talking about. First, No LTE support in Canada. I would have to switch Carriers. Samsung needs to be up front about this. Biggest issue is the Tiezen software its terrible. I bought samsung buds, phone so everything would work together and its a little bit of a dogs breakfast. App support is terrible and now with the newest announcement to move towards Google OS but not support the older watches is unacceptable. Its the last straw for me and now the watch is obsoleteuseless. Might as well throw it in the trash.

I bought the black LTE version, the pictures show it as black and not shiny but it is shiny and it is dark blue. A little confused how black is the same as dark blue. Also when I was order I saw no option to pick a version that is not shiny or not. I also dislike the cheap leather strap would have offered the silicone one, I bought it for an additional 35 pounds but the strap is black and the watch is blue so doesnt suite it. Such a shame.I also like the small compact charger but sadly the wire is no longer reusable like the previous charger. Before I could disconnect the watch charger and reuse the wire, not I cant. Seems like the charger went backwards in functionality. The LTE version doesnt work with OW so I could have easily saved a hundred pounds.Really disappointed with my purchase.

Good watch and I love it.One thing I found really annoying is the fact that i have to press the back button to launch Samsung pay but then have to tap pay again on the screen to make a payment. I cant understand why is this extra step required My apple watch would let me pay with 1 step. Its little things like these which let Samsung down. Also not enough banks supported
Sarintobi –
As a smart watch out is great. But if you are looking for an activity tracker, do not by this watch. The heart rate sensor seems to work but there doesnt seem to be any connection between your heart rate and calories burned. It doesnt matter how hard or easy you make your workout, the watch will show same calories burned. They are preset or something, there is no connection between the heart rate monitor and the activity. On top of that, and because my 2 month return window ended with Amazon, when I tried to reach out to Samsung customer service they could care less, there warranty is only for 15 days after purchase.
Karen –
Pros The screen summary is bright and clear. I love the pink colour of strap and watch itself. Being able to choose different styles of displays. The reminders to get moving.Cons When I am typing for work it sometimes thinks I am doing a work out.
James088 –
Im now on my second one as I sent the first one back after one day of wearing it around the house and noticed the paint on the metal body had already chipped off.I set up my new one and had a day of general use, nothing out of the ordinary. And withing one day again, I noticed the silver marks on the corner near the screen.I havent even used this watch to do exercise or anything yet, and from what I can remember I havent knocked this watch into anything as its been under my hoodie sleeve whilst wearing it.I would put a case on it, but the only ones currently available make the watch look cheap and bulky.Personally I would get a different watch, these marks appears after day one and Im now worried to wear it. Cant imagine what itd look like after a few weeks or months

Pros Love that I can change the image, looks fun and is also functional, doesnt hurt my wrist by being too heavy, and alerts me to lots of things I didnt think it would. It does exactly what I wanted.Cons Wish I had more choice of faces or a bit more flexible options regarding the faces available. Also wish I could download music to the watch easily, without having to get a new app, so that I could listen to music and not have my phone with me whilst running

My first activity trackerwatch. Very easy to set up and sync with my phone. Very informative but doesnt go into too much detail. Comfortable to wear and looks stylish. Battery could be better. Very impressed.

I have been using Samsung Galaxy watch Active 2 since an year. I purchased a new watch for my brother. I like the watch features very much. Due to lockdown I have gained weight. I started tracking the activities and reduced my weight. This is very useful.

The Galaxy Watch Active2, is one of the best purchases that Ive ever made in wearable technology. It delivers with more than adequate battery life, far superior comfort when compared to other products, a feature set that will appease most socalled Geeks such as myself, and the availability to add more features andor applications via the Galaxy app store. The new customizable watch face feature makes the creation of customizable watch faces easy and simple. With just a snap of your clothing, and multiple watch faces are created for you that match your outfit. I also appreciate the much slimmer and sleeker design, when compared to the regular Galaxy Watch. With that, I can confidently say that at least in my opinion the Watch Active2 is the most fashionable, functional, and flexible.

I bought this watch as Im on maternity leave, off work from a usually very active job so decided to track my activity whilst Im out walking lots with the pram. However the steps dont count Couldnt understand how Id walked so far and yet my step count was so low, apparently if youre not swinging your arms it doesnt count which it pretty pointless for me as Ill always be pushing a pram. Probably going to send it back unfortunately. Good watch apart from that though

Absolutely terrible after 6 months of use. In the beginning it was okay tracking workouts, but after 4 months or so the Under Armour APP is the worst part of this watch, and it is the main reason I got it. Ive been using mapmyfitness for 11 years to keep track of all of my workouts and I got this watch specifically for this purpose.Ive been through the whole deal with support and they have no answer for me. The best they could do is tell me to uninstall it from the watch…WHEN I CANT because its native to the watch greyed out, no option to uninstall.Whenever I try to use the workout MMFUA app, it stalls at least 10 times before it miiiiiight load all the way. It keeps loading, whenever I get to a page I want to use, the screen turns off, and I have to start from scratch, somewhere between 10 and 50 times. This happens for up to a half hour when I give up or it starts working. Then when it starts, there is a definite delay in everything that happens, then EEEEEVEN if you finally get the app to START and record your run, for the last month it will tell me it recorded it, give me stats, let me hit the check mark to save the workout, and after its all done, apparently the last months worth of workouts were NEVER RECORDED ON THE WEBSITEAPP. SO FRUSTRATING.Im so done with this watch. It is so slow overall that I just cant take it anymore. It works decently well for most other things that it is supposed to, but for someone who bought a workout watch specifically for a specific workout app that comes preinstalled on the watch because he workouts out every day……way too much frustration. Buyer Beware.

do not by this watch. if you plan on using it around water at all be careful. it is advertised for swimming laps and has a rating of 5atm but when i swam with it once it went black screen. sent it back to samsung and they said that they do not cover water damage even if used in the parameters listed on their site and is considered out of warranty if it shows water damage. they wanted to charge me 220 for the repair same price as a new watch. very disappointing. i think i am going to be shopping for a garmin.

decent sports watch tracks most of my workouts. i love how this is water resistance, it has 0 problem with swimming and long hour bathi like runmymap mvp features, it helps my running and tracks my routes, bpm, and running pace.i have bluetooth and dont have cellular features and the battery hour is long enough for me.
Beginnerswatch –
Its a decent watch for a beginner runner. Price is low compared to its competitors. Be ready to a low battery performance, specially if you want to use all the smart watch features reason for buying a smart watch. Ive lost many run records using the under armor MapMyRun installed in the watch it also has frequent sync issues with the phone.Again, if youre a serious runner, this is not the watch. If you only run once a week, with no serious goals and keeping track of workouts is not important, then this might work for you.I got an awesome case for it, I really like how it looks. Sadly, its performance isnt what I expected.
Angela –
Pros I love that I can have different faces on it. That it picks up all my messages and records my activities. I also like that in its proximity my phone remains unlocked and ready to use.Cons Although I like the strap design, that is very neat when fastened, actually getting it fastened is a bit awkward, trying to thread the strap underneath itself against the wrist.

Owned the black aluminium 44mm for 2 days. In that time Ive had 2 fitness sessions.Love the watch, does every thing that I want. Unfortunately it just scratches too easily and now I have a watch I dont want to wear.Completely gutted that I spent this amount of money on something where the case isnt scratch resistant. The black casing and the top button are now a silver mess and doesnt look great. So, if you do want to use this watch for fitness, then I would tell you to avoid because its not fit for purpose.

Pros Very good watch , lots of different setti vs and can download different watch faces, plain, fun, analogue or digital something for everyone. Connected to my Samsung 20fe no problem can see whats on my phone and answer without using the phone.Cons Battery last about 2 days, but that could be all the bits, notifications I have connected
Dteezer –
I love my Galaxy Active 2 watchTo inform others, incase you are thinking about spending the extra money on the Under Armor edition, consider saving your money.Youre basically paying for a brand name with a watch face that you likely will not use. Its just too plain. Nothing exciting.I have had this watch do things on its own such as wearing it to sleep, then being waken by the announcement of how long Ive been exercising and how many calories I have burned. This has happened a number of times but it isnt enough to turn me off of this watch. Its very nice and Ive been enjoying it.You wont be disappointed in this one
Preetha –
I love the phone call in Bluetooth Mode feature. With Under Armour Edition more features are enabled which gives me more capability to perform during workouts.Watch is slim and so comfortable to wear. I would recommend anybody who is interested in workouts and busy with hands to go for smart watch as it helps so much. I still have to see if it has a camera feature to see through the phone from watch. This will help me to monitor baby while sleeping from watch connected through phone. Will check this feature and update the review.

I bought the 44mm version without LTE, because I heard that the battery of the LTE is draining very fast. I am very happy with my purchase except with the manuals.I swear Samsunng, it is like you dont care. For example I see on the sleep tracking that it shows you part of the night as awake. No this is either a BUG or just shows you that you have very, very light sleep, but for the life of me I cant find any detailed explanation. The manual is totally useless.

Pros Great dial faces. Easy to navigate.Cons As a fitness watch it needs to be able to track how many calories used per day. The Samsung Health app is good at recording calories burned whilst undertaking an activity. However it then uses BMR data rather than heart beat for the rest of the day. You may have a very hard working day and burned lots of calories, however it does not record heart beat into calories burned. The watch also came with the golf app Smart Caddie. I have reported a 100 year old UK golf course missing. Golfzon customer services in Korea are shocking , their replies do not instill any confidence that the app can or will be updated.

Pros Its such a cool watch. I love that the watch faces are so flexible. It is great that it measures my runs and gives a lot of information about it including a little map, distance gone and average pace. It has encouraged me to walk more. I can read my WhatsApp messages and emails if I want to. I like that I can have the weather forecast on it. Just a well made watch with a lot of fun, interactive aspects, wearing a watch has never been so exciting…Cons It scratched quickly so I wish I had bought the screen protector at the same time. Battery life is decent, but something you need to be aware of.
Joseph –
Pros Design. Style. Changeable watch faces.Cons Calorie calculations for workouts are significantly inaccurate. Not good for calculating calories at all and it is called Active 2. Very Poor Would not recommend this watch.

I had an Galaxy Active watch which had a water leak after 14 months of owning it and this watch is a great improvement.I saw and read many reviews and surprisingly no one tells you that unlike the Active 1 watch, this one actually has a Speaker Yes you can hear the alarms and Bixby, but most importantly, you can answer phone calls and talk through the watchEverything about this watch is fabulousNote for the developers make the hourly chime sound independent from normal notifications so I wont have to check the watch every hour

My girlfriend and I both purchased one of these watches for one another for Christmas believing this would be a great smartwatch and activity tracker for running, walking and workouts. We were wrong This product is incapable of tracking activity properly. Its cuts out on the middle of workouts for no reason at all and stops tracking the activity. The distance for running is way off and the GPS will make it look like you can walk on water. We tried to return for a refund but Samsung does not stand by their product at all and once you buy it you are stuck with a useless product. Do yourself a favor and buy a product that works
NewTech –
I had got this product as open box excellent, the watch I received was in very good working condition and watch is high quality in performance and looks. I would say if you are android user surely get samsung active2 watch 44mm which is quite large in dial and has very good speaker as well for receiving calls. I just felt battery life is also quite good but just felt that processing speed has to be improved.

Im very underwhelmed by this watch.I really wanted to love it.The charger is the very worst ever. Ive had the watch since Sept 27 release day at least half the time I wake up and the charger crapped out and my watch is still flat.Sooooo disappointed.Charger also did not come with a wall block so I cant just plug it in. Ive been using the battery pack. I have to buy something that takes usb. Not cool at all especially at this price

I bought this watch as a present for my son who has been longing for a smartwatch for a few months now. I has been looking for a few watches like the apple watch but they were all overpriced and then I finally came across the active 2 with a very reasonable price of 150 euros. I was not expecting it to have too many functions, but my, you can scroll through widgets for days, control your camera from your watch, use maps and much more. I would recommend this as the best smartwatch at the moment for a very reasonable and competitive price of 150 euros.
Alireza –
The design is great. The microphone and speaker work well. Battery life is not bad, it should be better. However, the calculated burned calories in exercise applications are totally wrong Doing aerobics is also ignored in exercise applications. Not a good watch for sporty people. I DONT RECOMMEND IT
Lucienne –
Purchased this watch after online chat with Samsung who confirmed that I could either buy via their website, currys or via Vodafone. The watch was unlocked so would be able to be connected by Vodafone. Purchased from currys as I still had a voucher to use towards my 399.00 purchase. Went to Vodafone who activated the watch had to upgrade my contract to unlimited calls as I didnt have this… told to wait 24hrs and it should work. If only things were that easy 24hrs later the watch was still not working. Phoned Samsung, who just told me that because the watch was not actually purchased from Vodafone, it would not work What a total waste of time and money Now paying way more for my mobile subscription than I did before. Thanks for nothing Samsung, I shall no longer be singing your praises.
