I bought this to replace my wifes aging Windows tablet which was released in 2013. For the price its a good tablet reasonably fast with good sound that doesnt need an external speaker to hear it. I bought her a keyboardcase combo which works well and a 128 Gb Micro SD card for it so she could put all of her pictures on it. We have had Android phones for many years, but this is the first Android tablet weve had. My wife initially complained about the things she couldnt do with it, like print from an app, put files on the desktop, and other Windows things. But we found ways around most things and now she likes it. The only down side of it is that you cant use an active pen with it, only a capacitive stylus. I have a newer Windows tablet with an active pen that Im going to try to hang on to as long as I can.

Color and contrast on this tablet is not as good as my previous S series. Waited to late to return, thought the returnexchange period was 30 days, it was 15. Would have changed it for the better quality S series. I would still recommend it depending on what you want to use it for. Spend the extra money for the S series if picture quality is what youre looking for. I use a tablet to store and view photos when away from home. If there was any adjustment for the the screen it would be fine. Maybe in a firmware update

I did quite a bit of research before picking up the Tab A7. Setup was easy, and I was able to transfer information including my google settings and saved passwords from my Android phone, even though it isnt a Samsung device. The tablets response time is great, the display is fantastic, the sound is great.Its Samsung, so you get the standard Samsung apps. Not all of them can be uninstalled.My only real complaint is that the included charger isnt a fast charger.Overall, Im very happy with my purchase and with this device, especially with the Black Friday discount

Very nice tablet for price. very nice quality build. Thin but substantial feel. Processor speed is good and responsive. Screen is nice vivid and clear. Good video. Cameras good, a tiny bit grainy on front camera but should be fine for Zoom and other video many other inexpensive tablets are much worse. Have had no issues installing apps, no compatibility issues yet.

This tablet is a gift for my wife. When her Nexus 7 died, her spirits went down too. I knew what I had to do. Now, she is happy again, and with larger fonts and more memory to hold her photos. My only complaint is that it did not come with the little tool for opening the card slot, to add more memory. I found a correctly sized paperclip did the job, but would rather have the right tool for the job.Battery life appears good, and all the features are there to do what we want. Very happy.

Obviously not a top tier device, but its good for the price. Its excellent if you get it on sale. The chassis is a smooth, cool to the touch, rounded aluminum. The screen is large and full HD. Its also acceptably bright and most viewing angles are good. The speakers are plenty loud. I appreciate the quad speaker setup, which prevents my hands from muffleing the sound. The bezels are a bit largebetter than most iPads but practical in keeping your fingers out of the way while viewing content. I do wish it had four gigs of ram as opposed to the three it has. So you will notice you will wait an extra second for some apps to launch. But given its not using top of the line components, it operates surprisingly smooth. It really shines in media consumption and casual gaming. I imagine it may occasionally stutter on graphically demanding games, but I havent discovered that yet. The cameras are there and are not particularly impressive, but will do in a pinch. This tablet does offer facial recognition as an unlocking tool, which happens to be very fast, accurate, and consistent. Samsung offers a book cover style case that seems to be quite premium. In a nut shell, its a well rounded tablet with solid features and a large good looking display. It gets a thumbs up from me.

Ive had this tablet for two months now, and I am very satisfied so far no lockup problems to speak of yet. Ive heard many talk of soso camera quality, but it works great when capturing check images for deposit with my bank app. I also use a dedicated password manager that allows me to do much of my business on the road.Microsoft Outlook app included is terrific for importing doctor appointments from various medical portals, or you can create your own appointment, meeting, or task yourself for viewing within said apps calendar. The tablet comes with its own Samsung branded calendar, but I dont use it nor have I created a Samsung account as I really dont think you need it, but that is up to you.

The build quality of this tablet is fantastic and its buttery smooth in operation. What surprised me are the speakers and quality of sound afforded by them and the Dolby Atmos effect. The features are good for the price point and the design is minimalistic but very well constructed. I had a bit of difficulty getting the MicroSD card tray to pop out with the supplied tool as its a very snug fit but apart from that no major issues so far. The battery life is excellent, I got two days usage out of the first charge.

If i could give this zero stars i would we have always had samsung tablets and i am a fan. This one however, takes the cake for paper weight worthy crap. Bought this for my daughter for xmas, has always been kept in a case. But have had nothing but problems with it. Constantly had issues with connecting to wifi and needing to restart. This weekend it died, watching a netflix show and it just turned off. doesnt charge, cant reboot. worked for 3 months..Do not waste your money on this one.

I wrote an email to BestBuy and another to the secondary company about the horrible result of refurbish meaning cheap and fragile parts.Only BestBuy responded, who dumped the problem at the secondary company who likely did the refurbishment. Of course, no response there, BB suckered me in with their advertising and reputation, surely got money from the transaction, but supposedly have no connection to the crappy quality and cracked screen.The screen is superflimsy and will bust way too easily.Like it or not, it reflects significantly on BestBuy, dont believe advertising and be extremely cautious. Look at the return policy and remember, they want their money, care about your money more than you, and want to make as much as possible so the product reliability is easily sacrificed.

First of all, I absolutely love the sleek look of this tablet It is thin and it looks higher end this is My favorite feature is the nice big clear screen Oh boy This is my first Android tablet and I was thinking that it would be more of a toy but I was pleasantly surprised.The Samsung A7 integrated with my phone easily. The pictures and videos are clear and I post them without noticing any degradation. The processor doesnt sputter and I am able to open multiple apps and go back and forth with ease.This is definitely an extension of my life. Instead of having to hunch over my phone to do everything, I can just relax and do it on my A7 tablet. I still have my iPad for editing more intense videos but this one works great for making quick social media videos. In short, I love this tablet and so does my youngest son. I have already come across some of his apps and he asked me if he could use it for class on Monday

Great tablet, great value Has no issue running anything from streaming to work emails to games. Price point makes this device a nobrainer.Havent yet tried expanding the memory, hopefully it wont slow the tablet.Hard to connect this tablet with my text messages… hope Samsung will resolve this with newer updates.Final complaint is that Samsung doesnt make this model one size up. Too bad but cant blame them for wanting more money for the bigger size, betterprocessing tablets.

First off let me just say I have been through various tablets through the years. Some very good, others, not so much. This tablet fits nicely in the top end of my experiences.Lets get into why I think its a great tablet for everyday use, but not so much for the power user. First off, what you get in the box is pretty basic. You get the tablet in a nice cloth covering, the ac adapter and the usbc cord. Nothing extra, just what you need. Now for an everyday use tablet, you want something that is easy and intuitive to use. This tablet has this in spades. If you are a samsung phone user, you will get right at home with the interface. Almost everything can be brought over from your accounts on your phone which is nice if you have your favorite apps. The size is excellent, I highly recommend 10 plus for a tablet. Its not to big that you cant hold it comfortably, but not to small where it makes viewing it a hassle. After the initial setup of the tablet, everything went smoothly and worked as I expected it to for the price point of this device. The build quality is top notch, the tablet feels like its a quality device. It has some heft, but still in a slim body. The speakers sound great, and the Dolby Atmos sound does add some much needed depth to tablet sound for watching videos. Video quality is good for the price, not the best, but is very good. Running apps seems smooth, and accessing things like social media platforms works just as it should Like on your phone. Storage is a little light, but you can expand it with a micro SD card, which I did. For this price range of tablet, I highly recommend this tablet. For power users, read on for my negatives about this table.Why I feel this is not a power user tablet. Lets start with picture quality. While it is good, its not great. Definitely not for photo editing and such. On a side note, there is no option for increasing the screen sensitivity, which I would like since I use a glass screen protector. Second of all, while it has a good processor, it still has issues running some things smoothly. I have a few apps that run super fast on my phone, but lag on the tablet. Lastly, the cameras are not that great compared to other devices in the tablet category. Ok for everyday users, but people who care about photo and video quality should probably look for the higher end models. This tablet is excellent for every day use.

I bought this tablet to replace my old 2016 Samsung table that still works pretty good but technology was getting old. BUT this thing will not let you use it how you want i.e let apps transfer to sd card nor can you use mtp mode as they took that away. Look on line and you will see others who are complaining about the lack of freedom with this tablet. Do not even think about wanting to unload its BLOATWARE you are stuck. IF you want more space you have to buy one with more space. Never again will l buy any Phone, Tablet etc. from samsung and I would not recommend it to even to Lucifer. So to Amazon I go. Samsung you can keep your overpriced ball and chain.

Pros I bought this tablet for my girlfriend, seen as she had an ipad previously and all of my other devices are android I decided to get a Samsung tablet.The spec was pretty good for the price so thats why I decided to buy one.Cons The picture quality is shockingly disappointing.When I look at the picture quality from all the other tablets Ive seen the picture on this is dim, orangie as if you were watching an old colour tv. Not sharp and vibrant where the change rate is gd. No matter what setting I use it doesnt change.Ive played sky, and other media content on this tablet and still no change.Overall the tablet is pretty gd but it could do with an upgraded screen.

Product arrived as described, but an Unsupported Memory Card error message was triggered during initial setup, and subsequent restarts of tablet. The tablet itself is a good lowerend tablet with video that is suitable for watching videos and surfing the web. The 4 speakers are crisp and clear, and an upgrade from my previous tablet. Upon unboxing, I noticed that the charger outlet plug rattled as if there was a part loose. It shorted out with a popping noise, and the smell of electrical smoke within a week of receiving the tablet. Do they know they are shipping the tablets with an unsupported memory card Sounds like the marketing people missed a step while packaging a 2019 product for promotion during the 2020 holiday season. If I could post a Zero Star review, I would.

I have used many iPads over the years and never will I go back. This is one of the most user friendly tablets. The screen is very reactive even to the lightest touch and the colors from the screen are unrivaled. I have used it to watch movies and sometimes I would much rather use it then myTV. This tablet has great features. Its very easy to hold for an extended period of time as its lightweight, it doesnt get warm to the touch while using neither. I recently started school and this is great for reading papers and even doing the work itself. The camera is a great feature and is very clear and crisp makes it great for all the zoom meetings that so many of us using in this bizarre time. I can truly say I will not be going back to an iPad.

Our daughter bought my husband and I one and gave them to us early. We loved them so much and use them all the time.We purchased four for our childrenspouses and one for our beautiful little grandson whom is the brightest most gifted child and is on the Autism Spectrum. He is only 6 and constantly wants to learn more and was using his Fire Kids tablet which is wonderful for little ones he has used it for four years. He has grown so and was using mine without any problems. With his new one they have found several new educational apps, and are able to put it kids mode.Everyone is very happy with their new Christmas presents.

I bought this tablet for my Daughter for Xmas. Got the tablet on sale during the holidays. She watches steaming tv mostly on it. The sound and picture quality is good for the price. Google has much better apps for What She needed. She has the Amazon HD 10 Fire tablet. This tablet didnt have the apps needed. The Samsung tablet has a Micro SD slot. Bestbuy specs list a non Micro SD expansion. Got her a 128 gb Micro SDcard for more storage. All in all a very good Tablet for the price.

Still exploring a bit so I will have to update the review as I continue getting to know my new Tab A7. Immediately after opening the box I was impressed with the nice big, almost completely to the edge screen, major plus. As for the color, Its more of a grey color than black. Its not heavy at all which is nice. The colorscreen is super crisp and the colors look great. I am happy to say that the tablet hasnt gotten hot at all which typically happens after long usage. I plan to watch a movie on it shortly and will update after I finish and add some more apps. I love that I can connect all my Samsung devices.

Ive had this Tab A7 for about 14 days now After loading up all my necessary apps from the Google Play Store, this tablet really feels like a extended companion of my Samsung S10 phone. The feel is very comparable to the major competitor that sells a similar device for nearly 3 times, if not more. I would say my only criticism is the placement of the power and volume buttons. For someone reason I always have to flip around to feel for it, other devices those buttons placement is more obvious. So maybe thats just a me problem. Certainly a great investment. Like the video quality, been using to run Youtube TV while preparing a meal and the volume is unbelievable. No need to pair a external bluetooth speaker, the volume is that loud it can cut through the noise of cooking. I am sold that this tablet is really the way forward.

I traded in my 6th generation iPad for this device and I have a few comparable thoughts. I know this is more set to compete with the Amazon Fire 10, which this is much better than especially considering its full Android interface, Play store access, faster processor and nicer screen . But coming from an iPad, I notice a few things. First, while the processor is good, its not as snappy as even the older iPad, not even close actually, but its still usable without any major annoyance. The screen is nice, probably on par, except the viewing angle is not as good on the Galaxy and tilting shows dark areas, surprising considering Samsung usually makes the best screens. The cameras are both basic and not exciting at all, but they work fine for zoom or whatever. There is no fingerprint reader but there is face recognition and it actually works really well and its quick. The fit and finish are good, not like an iPad but it is certainly sleek and sharp looking . The thin bezels look great, but can make it hard to hold without accidentally touching the screen, you get used to it. Anyway, its a great tablet if you can get it on sale under 200…especially if you are already in the Galaxy stratosphere get it as Samsung does a good job making their devices play well together, for instance I can text on this device while connected to my S20 or Galaxy watch etc. Overall I like it but can see myself purchasing the Galaxy Tab S7 in the future…

I purchased a Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 tablet as a gift and liked it so much I bought one for myself I primarily use my tablet for browsing the web and reading ebooks and magazines with my usage, I can go four or five days between charges even with the wifi left on, so it definitely has a longlasting battery. I love that the tablet is so lightweight, yet it seems sturdy the back is cooltothetouch and feels metal. Setting up the device was easy and even though Samsung includes some apps that cannot be uninstalled, there is plenty of storage left on the device. Too, the 64GB microSD card bundled with the tablet is a good perk.

I was looking at getting another low end tablet, when this one popped up on sale. Getting Samsung features on a 10.4 tablet at a lower price was a great deal. Its not a low end tablet, so the screen has good resolution, and tablet has good features. Best of all, unlike other low end tablets, this once gets Android updates. Easy to setup and use, and the performance is good. When on sale it really beats the other tablets around its price range.

I bought this for my husband whose IPad Air went kaput. As he is strictly non tech and generally only uses his tablet for watching YouTube, Facebook and a bit of surfing, I thought this might suit him better.The set up was easy enough but the screen seems to attract fingerprints as soon as you look at it so I will need to get a screen protector as well as a case. The most irritating was the Facebook app. In portrait its fine but in landscape there are thick grey borders on either side with the app content squashed in the middle. In the end, I had to uninstall the app and load and bookmark the desktop version to get the landscape view to work properly. Obviously this is more of a pain than using the app and I dont feel I should have to do this on a modern tablet. It looks like this is an issue with the FB app and the Samsung OS as it was never a problem with the IPad. Not a happy bunnyThe other apps, news, Netflix, YT etc seem to be fine with a pretty good sound and picture quality given the relatively low price.

I received the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 in exchange for my honest opinion on the tablet. I loved that it is very light and thin, but at the same time pretty powerful for daily use.PROS Great battery life I used it for watching movies and playing games and it was on for 3 full days without a charge, Easy charging, Good wifi coverage, Liked the colors and sharpnessyou can adjust that under the settings. I also used the tab for a chat with my relatives and the picture was great. Love the Chrome buildin option, so I can sync it and use all my favorites from Chrome. The great sound and the SD card compatibility make it a great one.CONS The camera for the pictures is a bit complicated and I was not able to take any good one, but I am sure it has something to with polishing my skills on Android in general.Full disclosure until now Ive been using only Apple products, so it was a bit of a learning curve to figure it out. I think one of the most difficult things was the swiping because it is a different way than Ipad. As soon as the facial recognition was set I stopped having any problems further.I also will recommend investing in a tablet cover and screen protector, so you can be able to keep it safe for longer, although it is built quite durable.Overall, highly recommend it.

The android interface works just like an android cell phone, so it is almost natural to know how to navigate all the apps and features.Bought it for my uncle to use as a portable monitor for his security cameras. Can also stream TV apps and play games. It works great1 star deducted for screen brightness. Trying to watch the hometown Minnesota Twins while grilling outside was impossible… i would deduct 1.5 stars for brightness of i could.Dont expect it to rival an iPad, consider the price. Its a good value for 199 on sale.

Upgraded from a 2017 Lenovo Thinkpad, and this in spite of it being newer is leaps and bounds better. Samsung just knows how to make a quility product. I was unhappy with not being able to buy the larger memory version, but at least you can still use a microSD card. Dosent allow you to play downloaded games from the SD card, but I wont have pictures and audio taking up all the space. Call pf Duty Mobile and Fortnite are snappy to play and all the games ive tried are. Apps open quickly, and can have a million tabs open and there is no sign of slowing down. Plus the ability to connect with my other Samsung devices makes this a welcome addition. Screen is beautiful, and colorful. Disney HD movies look amazing Camera leaves a lil to be desired, BUT. If I wanna take a photo I just use my Galazy S 21 Ultra. I would absolutely recommend this tablet if youre looking to upgrade to a mid tier tablet. It will serve you well.

I went with the Gold Samsung Tab A7, its much prettier and has 64GB memory. I immediately opened the Netflix app to make sure the picture quality and sound were good. Its sleek and lightweight. Im loving it. Setup and WiFi connection was very vsimple. I will more than likely expand to an SD card only because I tend to take up alot of space quickly with all the apps, media, etc.. that Ill be downloading. I would also use it for remote learning on some days. This is a tablet I would definitely recommend to family and friends. Im overall super happy with my purchase and at such a wonderful price too.

Its thin, and lightweight, which is nice, but as for holdinggripping, its best you get yourself a silicone casecovers. I mainly use my laptop when doing a lot of typing email, facebook, etc, but very handyconvenient to use when doing a quick check email, web, take pictures, etc, and if my laptop every needs repairdied, its a great emergency backup FOR SURE At first I thought the brightness was way too low, but then realized it was the default setting, and once I set brightness, it was perfect. This is a great little buddy to have around, and of course tend to get Samsung. The only problem I had, but was no big deal, was getting the SDCARD slot to open, but it might have just been me not inserting the pin in far enough. It also took a while for it to charge compared to my other tablet, but that too is no big deal, or deal breaker. So far, everything I have done facebook, youtube, music, take pictures, email, surf internet have worked ok, and hope it will continue that way. As it stands right now, I would most definitely recommend this.

Have had the tablet for a couple weeks now. Got it for 149 when it was on sale, so good value if you can get it on sale.I was not certain if the 10.4 size would be too big or if I should go for the 8 screen. It does not fit my hand all that well, but the larger screen for reading and viewing videos e.g. Netflix is worth it.I did run into a problem with an app conflicting with the wifi connection. I installed several apps, including Spotify free version. I noticed that the tablet would drop my wifi quite often and maybemaybe not reconnect. I checked online and the suggestion was that an app was interfering and to uninstall all then reinstall one at a time. I chatted with a Samsung rep and they eventually came to the same conclusion. For whatever reason I decided to uninstall only Spotify free version is rather useless anyway. Problem disappeared and I do not think I have lost the wifi signal a single time since.My only regret maybe is that I got the 32Gb version. Somewhat worried I might run out of room for apps the OS takes about 1012 Gb but I do not use many apps for books and news and a few games so I think I am OK. I installed a 32Gb SD card for pics and other stuff.One downside it is slippery if you do not have a case that is not slippery too for it.

This is my second samsung tablet purchase for my children. After watching review videos and reading about this model, galaxy tabA7, I decided this was going to be a good choice. The biggest complaint I saw in all the review videos was screen dimness. When you first get the tablet and turn it on the factory setting is set to low for brightness. So I just turned it up. I have not noticed any diminished brightness in comparison to other tablets. Its just as bright as my apple air. The sound is great, battery life great… great overall performance. My only dislike would be the black border around the edge. Its meh. But if its in a case you dont even notice it.This is a good choice for parents looking for affordable tablets for their kids.

Purchased this tablet as it fit my baseline requirements 10 screen, min. 3 GB RAM, MicroSD. It is used for an eBook Reader, eMail, Online Browser, Movies, TV and is sufficient. It has not yet been tried with zoom, word processing, excel, or note taking. Hopefully it shall scale well.The last one I purchased lasted 10 years and still works well for the above purposes except at 1GB it no longer loads PDFs well for reading, processing is out of the question, and the battery must remain plugged in for use of any type. If Samsung offered a reliable replacement battery for these devices I would not hesitate to splurge and purchase the top end S7 model with 8GB RAM.My work tablet is a top end S6 and unless you actually require the additional RAM, Cameras, or SPen Functions the A7 should be more than sufficient for everyday use. Its large enough to see and small enough to bring with you everywhere.

Ive been very happy with the Samsung Galaxy A7. The build quality is solid. Video is good, sound is very good with 4 speakers, although I mainly wear headphones. Speed has been fine for my use online courses, YouTube, mobile games, internet browsing. I took advantage of the Black Friday sale price of 269, very good price for a late 2020 release tablet. I ordered the 32GB version, expecting to install apps and data on a SD card. In fact, apps cannot be stored on the SD card at this time. I was led to believe otherwise from product reviews, this has been a little disappointing. For this reason I give it 4 stars, but all things considered a great budget tablet. No regrets.

I originally wanted this tablet for my wife. The screen was bigger then what she wanted. She felt it was too big to use comfortably in bed. I use it no problem. I would love to find one with the same stats except in an 8 inch format. I use it mainly for game aps checking email. I did record a couple videos on it thought the quality was nice with good sound quality as well. I didnt think I would use it much when She gave it back to me to use. I have used it everyday multiple times. Even with the larger size I found it easy to use. I think it would be good for business travlers.

A little disappointed with this tablet. Its good but it could have been great. I bought this A7 model for my wife and ran into small issues that made her go back to her older Tab A 10.1First the color is not as good as the other models. You do not get the same screen mode options as you see on the Tab A or the S7. Its like the contrast is too high. I have read that it could be because its an LCD screen but compared to the Tab A or the new S7 it pales in color quality.2nd issue was the calendar. We use the Samsung calendar on all our devices. For some reason you cant get a day or week view. Your stuck with month and year. I dont know why its like this but its they same with display models in stores so it nothing I did. Yes I have run all the updates. Yes I know there are other calendars but you have to pay to get the same perks. Overall it is a good tablet for the price. Processor speed is great. Size is more manageable than an S7. But if you could save up a little more I would definitely suggest the S7. We have one of those and absolutely love it.

This is my second tablet ever. I wasnt sure what to expect since my first one was a kindle tablet and those were cheap and total crap. The battery wouldnt last longer than an hour and you couldnt download a whole lot of apps and it would freeze often. Fast forward years later I wanted to get another tab and was thinking of going with an Ipad. I couldnt justify the hefty price of another apple product in my house so when I found this tab on Sams and its price hit right in the middle I thought Id give it a try especially since it had great reviews. When I got it I surpised. Its alot sleeker than a Kindle Tab thats for sure. As far as battery and storage goes, its great. One full charge will last me a few days with just minimal usage. If my kids are on it all day theyll run for up to 46 hours before it needs recharging. That a long time in my opinion. I use it for games, reading, movies etc..The volume is great. I got this new tablet to replace a slow Galaxy tab2 10.1 which I have used for quite a while. The new tablet is a pleasure to use in comparison since it so quick and responsive despite me using a slow internet connection. As an example the previous tablet kept on interupting video streaming sessions. The new tablet has fixed this problem. I also installed a 250 Gigs micro SD card to expand its memory capabilitities but was surprised to find out that I cannot transfer downloaded applications to it as I could do it with the previous tablet. This issue will limit the number of apps that I can load on the tablet. It would be nice if this issue can be fixed in a future updating of the android software. Screen colours are very good and the battery life is great. This 10 TABLET is also lighter than my previous model. The sound of the four speakers is great. The cameras are not the greatests but are acceptable since I have no plans about doing great photography with this tablet.

We bought this tablet for my 3yrs old son for Christmas as an upgrade for his 8inch Samsung tablet. We have no regrets purchasing this tablet. My son like the big screen, its fast and really easy to use for him especially he likes to use the YouTube app and Netflix. And Yes, I watch Netflix on this tablet too besides my son and I am very impressed of the sound quality and picture Very well worth the money First, we bought the 8HD Amazon fire, and we end up returning it because it is so slow and too much for him. And the 8Samsung tablet that he had, screen was cracked and have to keep it plug in. The battery was going bad. This is a great tablet for the price. I mainly use it to read the news, check the weather and read email. There are better tablets out there if youre willing to pay much more for them but this gets the job done. It seems faster than my old tablet. I added a large micro sd card and it holds all of my music. If I was going to buy another one, I would get the 64GB rather than the 32GB as apps do not store on the sd card like they did on my old tablet however, my old tablet was only 16GB and I never ran out of space. Overall, a great tablet for the money.

this tablet is as nice as some costing 4 times more. i am really happy with it overall. i have figured out almost everything that mattered to me. i still have not figured out how to fix the navigation bar so it does not have a white bar at the bottom of the screen. i hid the buttons and am using swipe but the bright light is distracting. i also would like an easier way to take a screenshot. pressing the power and vol down at the same time is awkward and can take too long.

Good build quality, It has the the latest Android 11 operating system I know it says Android 10 but after it updated it now has the Android 11 and the latest security patch. The quad speaker system with Dolby Atmos are great and HAS the latest Bluetooth.Great battery life, with 3GB of ram and if you can get the 64 gigabytes of memory do that. It takes up to 1 TB of external storage or memory but the bad part here is it will not let you change or transfer your apps to it, maybe audio books, movies…I like the true color of the 10.4inche bright display.The cameras arent really anything that special but better than most budget tablets. I bought a Samsung A7 in November 2020 and in mid January this year the screen failed, displaying just one coloured line.I carefully packed it in the Samsung soft sleeve and a jiffy bag, which was then collected by courier and sent in a padded, metal box to repairers.I heard nothing for over a month, despite requests for update. Today I have been told that I bent the tablet and therefore I must pay 16465 for repair.I look after my tech. I still have my Samsung Tab 8.4 that is 10 years old, slow but working.I am very disappointed, I did not damage the tablet and wish that I had taken photos of it before I sent it off to be repaired.I suggest you consider this and the scope of the 2year guarantee before you purchase.

Upgrading from a 7 year old Samsung pro tablet, it is night day. As I am primarily using it as a streamingmedia device, it is an amazing value. The display is plenty bright sharp for me, and the fact that Samsung was able to include a 4speaker setup with Atmos provides a great stereo experience. The landscapecentric design bezels make handling very easy. Though it is not stock Android, Samsung has cleaned up the UI and minimized the amount of preinstalled bloatware aside from the Samsung apps. Unlike many other budget tablets, it comes with Widevine L1 DRM so you can watch Netflix, Hulu, AmazonPrime in HD quality. For simple tasks like browsing social media, it is responsive enough. I think that this Samsung Galaxy tablet is fantastic. Ive been a long time 10 year Apple user, so Im not very familiar with Samsung products or the different platforms. In my opinion, the minute I opened the package, I was pleased The A7 10.4 tablet is VERY sleek, lightweight even more so than my iPad, and easy to hold. I added in a photo for scale next to my water bottle. Its just the right size big enough that it makes it easy to seeread the screen and also small enough for easy transport. It came with a charger and Quick Start guide the tablet was already partially charged, which I appreciate. I was able to set it up quickly and it even gave me the option to link the tablet to some of my other devices such as my phone. I downloaded all of my favorite apps, and overall, the tablet is very intuitive to use and perfectly suitable for my needs browsing the internet, shopping online, responding to emails, and watching HuluNetflixetc. The screen automatically flips depending on which way Im using it, whether it be horizontal or vertical. You can adjust the light and sound settings, etc., just as youd expect with any smart device. The tablet also has a camera the photos are sosoits on par with the quality of my iPad photos. Overall, if youre looking for a great present or something to use that is larger than your phones screen, I highly recommend this tablet. Its an affordable price, user friendly, and everything you could want is at the tip of your fingers I would consider different Samsung Galaxy products going forward too based off of this experience.

This is a Samsung Galaxy Tablet. I love this tablet. I set up this tablet very easy following the on screen directions. It connected to my WI Fi very quickly just asking what the password was. It has a touchscreen that has large keys that are easy to use. No more hitting the wrong keys because the keys are too small. Thats another thing i love. It has a lot of different apps already installed on the tablet. It even has Netflix, Spotify, and you tube. It linked up with my laptop and found all the music I listen to from you tube. So now I have those on my tablet as well. I would recommend this tablet to anyone wanting to take their music on the go. It also has very clear images and great sound . Its also easy to set up even if youre not a computer teck. I even connected to Ebay. Im wondering if I can print coupons from this tablet I will have to try that out.

dont waste your time or money trying to find a bargain samsung tablet. we bought 3 of these tablets for our kids, as well as 128gb sd cards for each. what samsung decides not to tell you about their expandable memory, is that the operating system takes up 10 of the 32gb, and that you cannot transfer any apps to the sd card to free up space. so youre actually buying a 22gb tablet, and the only reason you can expand the memory is for photos and video. the camera is not good enough to use as a primary photo or video device, so what is the point of having an sd card in the first place get the 64gb.

Tablet is designed sturdy for the demands of a 6yr old Home Schooled child who has ADHD. Definitely dislike the issues with the storage space and not being able to move Apps etc over to the micro SD card. No matter how good a tablet is, that can often be a deal breaker if you need it for teaching. Otherwise youll need to get a screen protector and a case for the tablet from another retailer especially if it is for a child. Also recommend having a backup charger, tablet battery can drop fast at times. This is a very good tablet, I have it in the gold color. Its very sleek and not bulky. Easy to hold and carry. I use it for watching videos and movies. I also use it to stream movies, listen to music, play games, and watch videos. This tablet is very comfortable to hold in landscape mode. The picture quality is really good as well. The Battery Life is great, and it has very good speakers. Good build quality, and has a headphone jack. My dislikes are that theres no fingerprint reader. The screen is pretty reflective but this is common in most tablets, but other than that I love this tablet

So this device has the capability of using a 1 TB SD Card. I find this hilarious as I had to find a 3rd party app to be able to copy files to the SD Card. Also please note that the developers at Samsung have disabled a previous feature to move apps to the SD Card. So while some may consider 64 GB as being plenty for Apps and Data it goes fast. I was really excited about this product until I started getting memory errors saying that was close to using all available memory. Music and pictures were the culprit and after using third party app to move them to SD Card I was able to use the tablet again. These are tools and tricks that many have no clue about and could make this device a deal breaker.

Im very happy with my purchase. I upgraded from an older 7 Tab so no surprises or nothing new to learn about functions. I was very pleased that it offered the quick and easy option of copying the information and apps from my phone. I received the 32GB tablet in exchange for my review. I was using a Samsung Tab A 8 for 5 years. I wasnt sure I would like the larger tablet, but I love it. The weight is manageable and the larger screen is wonderful. I have discovered a whole new world lol. It boots up quickly and runs smoothly. If you are looking to upgrade or switch to Samsung, I recommend this tablet. It connected to WiFi flawlessly and has good speed. I feel the price is good for this tablet.

I was looking for a replacement tablet and had 2 items at the top of my list. Speed and size. The Galaxy Tab A7 exceeded both of my expectations now that Ive had several weeks to get acclimated to it. The 10.4 screen is perfect and big The resolution is amazing and the 4 speaker system is on the sides of the Tab, so setting it down, or putting it into a cover like I did, will not suppress the wonderful sound. I added a Fintie case that included a strong magnetic BlueTooth keyboard and both are outstanding at a great price. The keyboard is handy if you are writing anything other than a one liner.Kudos to Samsung over the speed of the A7. My frame of reference was my prior tab about 2 years old and hands down it was no contest. On a 5gz wireless connection, the response time was incredible… almost better than my win10 desktop which is no slouch itself. No apps failed and all responded lightening fast.A very nice surprise was the builtin ability to essentially clone your Samsung phone during initial setup. In my case, I have an S8Active and the Tab made the connection and cloned over all apps on my phone. I thought it would be like getting a new phone where Id have to install my apps, but nope Very nice setup by Samsung and I dont think I spent more than 30 minutes getting it functional. Great job Samsung… worked flawlessly.This Tab is a 2020 offering and though I dont like to be on the leading edge of technology, I dont regret going for it with the A7. I absolutely love this tablet I gave my Samsung A 10.1 tablet to my 6 year old son due to his old one cracked. So I was debating on getting the same one I had before or get out of my comfort zone and upgrade. Was very iffy at first but I am very happy with my purchase. All I could say is a negative with this tablet is that the camera . Its hard to take front camera photos. Your eyes will be looking to the side when taking a photo because the lens in not at the top like usualthe long way like the Samsung A 10.1. Not a big deal to me though. But other than that this tablet is awesome.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 has a BIG 10.4 screen with Amazing clarity and Samsung speed and reliability. This one was an open box return but I couldnt tell it had even been used. They do make ones with larger internal memory but an additional 64gb micro memory card was only 10 and this tablet should serve my needs for MANY years to come. The BEST part is that since I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 10 5G phone they operate nearly the same and I even have the home screen application icons almost identical. So its like a REALLY LARGE phone.

I tried a different model A few years back and was completely unhappy but this one actually seems to be pretty good. The only downside seems to be the viewing angle is a little more narrow than more expensive tablets but I honestly dont see how thats even a serious consideration given that if youre looking at your tablet then youre going to be holding it at the proper angle anyways. So it doesnt really seem to make any difference. Its very responsive and the apps all load very quickly. I personally dont have any complaints it was well worth the money I paid

Great tablet for watching videos and movies, if you download them from vudu, etc, because the ability to stay connected to the internet with this tablet is a pain in the butt. First tablet I purchased would not connect, Best Buy replaced it with another one and it has intermittent issues still after a month, Seems this tablet works better on 2.4Ghz than 5Ghz for some reason, cant get any answers to why it has connection issues. If you are thinking about this tablet for online use, research other brands, but for content stored on an sd card, it works great. I must also mention having 4 speakers makes this tablet much louder than the last version with only 2 speakers.

so far this has been easy to set up and use. the only issue I have run into is that I cannot figure out how to get apps moved from my internal storage to my external SD card storage. I have an appointment set up to get help with this issue. I have many other devices that I have never had this issue with in the past. I even contacted Samsung Tech support that was of NOOOOOO help at all. In fact they were absolutely rude. Blamed the issue on my new SD card that the tablet is reading just fine. We will see. I will try to come back with an update after the appointment. So far so good. I like the speed and ease of use.

I was hesitant to purchase a tablet in 2020 with only 3GB of RAM. My last tablet had 4GB, but only a Quadcore processor Samsung tab S2, and it was horribly sluggish. I purchased this because the price was great and with this battery full HD only resolution it was bound to get decent battery life and I mostly want it for media consumption. Im pleased to report that with the 3GB of RAM it runs everything smoothly with no stuttering or lag. I dont use it for games, so I cant speak to that, but for moviesyoutubemusic it functions smoothly, even with several tabs open and multiple processes running. It has quad speakers that are clear and quite loud, the battery life thus far is very impressive 1h 27m screen on has used 19 with lots of downloading and app setup and the screen is very clear with absolutely no pixelation of any sort. Brightness is sufficient at all levels and will boost high enough to read should you have it on auto and get it in the sunlight. I would say that its punching above its weight and is easily comparable with the standardissue iPad in everyday usage.

I was very excited to get my Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Tablet. I cant screenshot anything. It is slow and when I had trouble with it turning off constantly, Dell told me to call Samsung. They in turn told me to go to a store in a city near me and they were useless. He looked at it for 2 minutes and told me it was slow and that was it. He didnt want to help me. I felt like I got the run around. I finally factory reset it and, it isnt as bad as before. All I wanted was someone to help me get my screenshot to work and to make it so it wouldnt turn off all the time. It doesnt turn off as much anymore after the factory reset. But it would have been nice to have it work 100. It has a warranty. It doesnt do me any good if no one will help me. I like the tablet otherwise. Just wish someone would have said yes, send it back and we will fix it. Instead of sending me to that store that wanted nothing to do to help me.

Works well for streaming video on Sky, Amazon, Netflix etc.The screen is good resolution and has brightness suitable for outdoor use. Battery life is good for a few hours of streaming video. Audio quality is very good and come out of the sides rather than at the back. Cant comment on gaming performance as I dont really play games on it. Previous tablet was Amazon Fire HD 7 HD 8. Very prompt delivery within 15 hours of placing the order, which was pretty impressive, even if the purchase wasnt urgent for me. Does anyone really need an item so badly that it must be delivered within a dayThe tablet itself is made by Samsung, so the build quality is already assured, particularly for anyone who is already familiar with a Samsung phone. The Android OS is equally familiar to anyone not wedded to Apple products, and functions seamlessly, with many useful features. I suspect that the iPad range has sharper screen resolution and a better camera, but this is not easy to judge for a non techie user. What is indisputable is that this Samsung represents much better value for money than an iPad, given the equivalent build quality, the longer battery life, and above all the ability to expand storage capacity hugely, from the builtin 32Gb, to at least 500Gb, meaning also that one can avoid paying for cloud storage, and can simply take the SD card onwards to another machine if ever one needs to replace the current one. By buying into the Android world, one is perforce buying into Google which, from my personal viewpoint, is overly dominant in the tech world, and which of course sells a users data and personal information to all and sundry. However, if one is careful during the setup process, one can apparently opt out of a good deal of the data capture that Google has built in to the OS for their own benefit and gain.

The samsung a7 tablet is a crowd pleaser. It is extremely fast and smooth with no lag. The screen is big enough to enjoy from browsing the web to playing video games. The sound output from dolby atmos surround sound is powerful and makes watching videos or listening to music immersive. It is extremely lightweight for having a 10.4 inch screen. I like that Im able to use the fast charging usb c for the days I forget to charge it. The wide front facing camera is sure to capture the whole scene while video calling. The rear camera is sufficient but nothing extraordinary. I love the quick share feature as Im able to easily share my content to my families devices. Even though it says sd card expandable, it cant be used as internal storage which is why I knocked one star off. I would of liked to be able to have additional internal storage. Overall its a great tablet to recommend.

I have had the tablet for a couple of weeks and have used it primarily for media consumption so far. It is a very good media tablet at a good price. I like the picture and sound. I upsized from an 8 tablet whose form factor I loved primarily for video consumption. I currently use wired earbuds with the headphone jack while I am on the treadmill. I am hoping the tablet will also function as a laptop lite for my daily tasks email, calendar, web browsing, ereader as well as a couple of productivity apps while traveling. Other reviews indicate it should handle my intended usage with a brief lag while switching apps. At this price, I will not be disappointed if I can only use it for my daily tasks. I just got my case and keyboard. So, I will have to see how laptop substitution works.

Why in the world would they put a slot for an external memory card, if the only thing you can put on it is pictures. None of the app Data can be transferred. So, if you use the tablet for your entertainment, Like playing a color by numbers game, it is not worth it. And Samsung Forums Solution, was basically we took this feature out on purpose So now in about 1 month it is completely out of Data. and I have to delete things just to get it to function. Samsung and Android need to revisit this feature. OR a loyal fan for over 10 years, may actually consider Apple.

This Samsung tablet is OK for me, not great. I dont have home wifi or a home internet connection. I link the tablet to my Samsung S20 via Bluetooth and that works. By attaching a dongle to the tablet l can easily type and mouse using the inputs from my old, longgone computer. That made doing my tax returns much easier than they would have been with either the smartphone or tablet alone.The visual quality is disappointing. When watching a video the picture is not crisp.

In todays age of electronics, when they say the bigger, the better They really mean it. When it comes to the Samsung Galaxy A7, Ive noticed that it is very sleek, but also a bit heavy. Having a case will help with the situation. Upon looking the device over Ive noticed a few good things. The screen resolution is beyond what I expected. The vibrancy of the screen itself is very good. Handling it however takes getting used to. RAM is fast enough for anyone to use, and picture quality is to my liking. I feel, anyone who is tired of using their actual cell phones for the daily entertainment area, will actually like this. Its easier than I thought to understand set up, and finding apps are with ease. Battery life is long enough to get whatever you need done, but takes quite some time to charge completely. I personally use the tablet for Netflix and the occasional gaming that my phone cant handle. The camera works great, it does take a minute to understand how all the functions works as far as editing. But overall, This tablet gets an A From our family.

My experience with the quality of my Samsung products has always been positive. When I had to replace my outdated tablet I went looking for one the would match my S10 phone. This tablet fit the bill perfectly. My requirements were for a basic tablet with expandable memory which was lightweight, could be used as a laptop or a reader and had good battery life. this is my second Samsung tablet that Ive tried to purchase and even though its been 4 years since I purchased the last one they have made zero improvements in fact the functionality has gotten even worse. after spending 2 hours on the phone with Samsung support they couldnt help me get some of the most basic functions to work nor were they even aware that they didnt actually work and this is I think the 2016 model so in 4 years they couldnt figure out that this things a complete and utter piece of garbage. do not waste your money on any low end Samsung tablets I wanted this basically as a security monitor and its not even worth it for that.I will never ever buy another Samsung tablet again The only reason I use a Samsung phone is because I absolutely abhor everything made by Apple because they make the most juvenile products on the market and apparently Samsung is keeping stride and lowering their standards by the day. I purchased this after returning an amazon kids tablet that I had purchased for my 4 year old. The amazon kids tab is a terrible, absolutely horrible waste of money. The samsung was only 50 dollars more and offers you a far superior screen, much better battery life, better processor, and a much much better user experience. There is a kids mode preinstalled which is one of the best ive seen. Kids aside, this tablet is an entertainment monster. For 150200 ,depending on the sale price, you get an amazing screen for watching movies, good speakers, good battery life and expandable storage. The tablet is light weight and feels great in the hands. Has a premium feel to it too.

The camera also seems to be trying to adjust to the surrounding lighting when youre on a videocall which is distracting the light dims, then brightens, and Ive tried everything I can think of to get it to remain steady. Probably a deeply hidden setting somewhere that Im unable to find… Disappointing considering that Samsung usually has the best cameras in their mobile devices. Overall, the tablet is a tablet not the best, not the worst.

The SAMSUNG Galaxy Tab A7 10.4 WiFi is an easy to use tablet. It has astonishing dynamic range with its Dobly Atmos surround sound system and the quality is crystal clear. The battery life is long lasting. The physical features on this tablet are slim and lightweight which makes it easy for carrying on the go. There are already some apps installed on this tablet and more can be added through playstore.The camera quality is great, but you do have to stay a small distance away from what you are taking a photo of or the camera quality can get blurry. There are numerous photo options, but I did not see a flash option which would of made this camera feature more ideal. It does have a zoom in and out feature. The video calling feature is amazing with clear and precise quality sound and picture. The fast processor is quick and easy as it navigates while either it be browsing the web, streaming, or using the apps. The size of this tablet is the perfect size as it has a large and clear 10.4 ultrawidescreen. Great for reading ebooks, watching movies and so much more. I absolutely love this tablet it is fun, fast and efficient. Highly recommended.

This is my second purchase of a Samsung Tablet as my very first Samsung tablet was only 8. The tablet was bought to replace a very old and out of date Ipaf Mini which I had had for 6 years or more. The size of the screen was very small and I was struggling with it especially with my eyesight. The Samsung A7 is a really good size and is absolutely ideal and you can do a lot of things on it including screen mirroring to the television, which is a really great facility. You can also add extra memory to the tablet by adding a memory card which is another great facility. I highly recommend Samsung products and all family members have them and all products have been very reliable and have lasted a good 5 years or more. I personally wouldnt purchase any other make.

With our household switching to streaming services we needed a way to stream content to our home gym. I settled on a tablet and mounted with a tablet holder on the treadmill. The Samsung Tablet works perfect for streaming video content. It was super easy to get started. The tablet is fast, responsive and has very low cost. The clarity is outstanding. Lots of video streaming applications from the google store. We are using bluetooth connectivity on the tablet with our airpods. Very good value.

The Dolby Atmos surround sound was a nice surprise. Its great when watching Netflix and Youtube videos. I purchased this so I can use it to keep distracted while I am working out on an elliptical trainer and a recumbent exercise bike in my basement. I watch videos from Prime and Netflix and listen to my CD collection on YouTube Music. It does a fine job, has a great picture and the battery lasts a long time. I added a 512 mb MicroSD card in case I need some more storage, but so far everything has worked flawlessly. I had an IPad a while back, probably ten years ago and this cost less than half the price of that thing and I think I will get just as much or more use out of it.As usual, MicroCenter was there for me, ordered online and picked it up the next day. Been using an old iPad 3, 2010 version so it was time for an upgrade. Went with the A7 10.4 screen as it was only released in 2020, its still for sale on the Samsung website so my assumption was that if it is currently promoted, then Samsung are still behind it in terms of reputation and their belief in product quality. So…..its alright. Its not the fastest and most responsive tablet in the world but it does have a quality look and feel to it. It has issues which are annoyances more than dealbreakers. Firstly, the lock screen barely stays on long enough for you to start typing in the PIN code. There are lock screen settings, but none that address this and there are multiple forums of outraged users over this specific issue. One of those forums pointed me in the direction of an app which addresses this and works perfectly. But I shouldnt have to download an app just for the device to function normally Secondly, my preference is to have the remaining battery percentage displayed and yes, there is a setting to turn this on, great. But after some use or time on standby, it deactivates itself and is nowhere to be found until you go back into settings to reactivate it. This is clearly a software issue that Samsung need to resolve, and Im sure they will in a future operatingsystem update. I mentioned the old iPad at the start of the review. If I compare speed and responsiveness between the two, the iPad still wins, hands down. This should not be the case when comparing an 11 year old tablet against a 6 month old tablet so I am very disappointed by that. You can have multiple user profiles on the A7 which is great, as this wasnt a feature available on the iPad. However, if powering on from off, the primary user must log in first before it is possible to switch to any other user profile, which sort of defeats the purpose of multiple user profiles The workaround Leave it on Standby constantly which again, is not great and its a constant drain on the battery, albeit a very slow one. But its just one further design flaw that disappoints. I see Samsung as a prestige technology brand and an industry leader. These niggles make customers lose trust and confidence in them. I do wonder if the above issues would be present in the more expensive S range of tablets priced at 600 and up I expect they would as they use the same operating system. Had I spent that amount of money and experienced these same issues, the tablet would be going back But I paid 200 for the A7 and had already read reviews that said it was entry level, so you really do get whatyou pay for with this unit. Good bits Screen is nice. Its HD rather than 4K but given its size, you dont really notice and watching Netflix and other video is very good. Memory is expandable with a micro SD card Ive added a 128GB card. But the downside is that none of the apps or any part of the system software will store on there. It will only allow photos and video that you take to be stored externally which, quite frankly, is rubbish. By the time I loaded in all the apps that are present on my phone S21 Ultra 256GB, the 32GB onboard memory was practically full which really limits what can be done and what it can be used for I had previously read reviews which suggested the A7 did not have an internal accelerometer gyroscope and you could therefore not play any games that require the device to be tilted to steer, fly or balance. This is absolutely not true it is equipped with this functionality and it works perfectly. Ill probably keep this for a year or 2 before the limitations on memory and lethargic response times annoy me enough to spend proper money on a flagship model. At which point, Ill donate the A7 to my 6 year old, a target audience Id suggest, to which this model is probably better suited.

I received this tablet Samsung Galaxy A7, which has a 10.4 inch large screen a nd crystal clear graphics. It is fast and responds quiickly. The screen size is large and I can open multiple tabs on the same screen. I am exploring the various features . The camera is also fast and has several features like burst photo, and backgound colors, automatic time adjustments to take photos of groups once you press the click button. Rest of the features are same as any other tablet with few bells and whistles.It has 32 gb storage, which seems a good amount at this time. The battery lasts a couple days if I use it for a few hours a day. The chargiong cable is abput 3 feet long. It charges quickly and keeps its charge . I am happy that it helps me work and communicate on the go, with a big screen.

First off it has a great screen size and colorful display that is very pleasing when Im watching movies or videos, playing games, or reading and searching the web on my tablet. The colors are vibrant and very high definition. I love the size of this tablet as well because it makes it very easy to read and game on. The duel Dolby Atmos sound speakers put out clear sound and a good amount of bass. I have no problem hearing media on my tablet. The front and rear facing cameras take great pictures and videos too. The processor on this tablet is amazing for such a affordable tablet because there is virtually no lag time when I am loading videos or surfing the web. I also love the facial recognition when you open the tablet it really is a handy feature when youre using it. Ive always liked the Galaxy tablets. I bought the A7 64GB to sort of replace my older Tab A which has a cracked screenmy fault, twice. I still use my Tab A for certain things because it still works.The A7 is phenomenal with the speaker setup. The tablet is meant to be used in landscape mode because the speakers4 of them are on the left and right side in landscape mode or top and bottom in portrait mode. The picture is beautiful and sound is great. The best part is that I got this at Best Buy as an openbox like new and shipped for free to my house for less than the price of the 32GB model. When it arrived it was in brand new condition. Pros Just about everything is pleasing. I already had a T4, so I knew this would be even better than that even though thats a pretty good tablet, but after five years its slightly bathed and the battery is tired. Im confident this unit will endure just as long, if not longer.Cons The default keyboard is terrible the letters are tiny and though you can scale them larger theres hardly a difference. So Ive had to download a replacement, which overall is better though it does carry occasional advertising.

This is a middle of the road product in terms of use and what you are going to use it for. If you want something that is in the Samsung ecosystem then sure get this on sale. At the moment its going for like 149. If your want something with a good screen I would consider just getting an Amazon Fire HD 10 on sale. I actually thought the 2017 HD 10 had a better screen and color representation. The current gen HD 10 I believe is going for 75 on Black Friday. Side load the Google Play Store and your set. Its not that hard to install it in order to get the apps that the Amazon store doesnt have. Save the money if youre only going to use this for YouTube or Netflix.

Pros Reasonable battery lifeCons Very heavy to hold, difficult to use one handed.Screen sensitivity all over the place, some areas very sensitive others almost non existent. Preinstalled apps and operating system uses over 60 of storage space and SD card cannot be set as default so is pretty much useless. Havent been able to transfer a lot of stuff I wanted to use the tablet for a waste of money and a lot of time searching the Internet and talking to help lines trying to find answers. OK if you only want to do Zoom meetings etc or surf the Internet but dont be tempted to download games as the vast majority cant be stored in the SD card so easy up the little space that is left.

So Ive had a Galaxy Tab III since… 2014ish. I picked it up specifically because Id owned a Nook tablet and that thing was horrible for magazines. The Tab III was a 10 model, and it worked perfectly for that format.However, six years is a long time for hardware. It was five versions behind on Android, the battery was starting to not last as long it had served well and still will be used for light use. So I shopped around and decided to pick this up.I almost went to an Amazon 10 Fire, but Ive got a 7 thats not that old and, while its great for books, I didnt want to deal with the Amazon interface.When I got this, at first I thought Id been handed a 7 by mistake, given the box dimensions. But, no, this was a 10. The aspect ratio, though, has changed. The old one was closer to 43 1280×800. This one runs at 2000×1200, or 53. Which doesnt sound like a huge difference and the pictures on the website dont look horribly off but in viewingIts great for video. Its absolutely stellar for that. Fits perfectly.Magazines or anything paper ratio though They dont fit. Either theyre scrunched into part of the screen, or youre zooming in and have to scroll side to side to see the last third or so of the page to the side.My options here are to keep it, find another tablet though this seems to be a popular, practically standard Android resolution at 10, or go to the Apple 10.1 Ipad which has the 43 ratio that fits what Im looking for.Will I keep itProbably. Its quick, it is great for video, its ad free with a standard SamsungAndroid interface that Im used to. Itll run things the old system wont. I might look for an older ipad I dont feel like paying the Apple tax for a new one, or converting over to the Apple ecosystem to deal with it.

I needed an affordable tablet to use as my main device to create my Illustrations on as I am a selfpublished book author. This tablet has exceeded my expectations for that purpose. In addition, the sound quality is great for watching videos which I didnt expect to use it for but I. Its also great with helping keep up with my marketing campaigns for my books. Im so glad that I purchased it. Its great for business purposes. I cant really speak on gaming and all that.

I have enjoyed using this tablet. A few caveats.i am not a gamer and I have a handful of laptops and PCs that I do my heavy lifting on.I do however use the tablet every day. I use it for most of my reading and occasional TV and movie viewing. It mostly handles these tasks without issue. Being WiFi only, I occasionally use my phone as a WiFi hotspot while I charge my PHEV. I do like the extra screen realestate.When I find the tablet bogging down I clear the cache and everything cleats right up.The screen is sharp and easy to read and watch video on. The sound is good and when not enough I have several Bluetooth speakers around.If you looking for an Android tablet this is a good choice. Of your a gamer shell our twice as much and get is big brother.

This Galaxy Tab A7 2020 has a big nice 10.4 ultrawidescreen which makes everything look so clear and beautiful The 7040 mAh battery gives me soo much user time. For comparison, my Note 10 has a 4170 mAh and on heavy usage it lasts me well over 12 hours. It does have the double tap to wake feature that I feel every touch device should have.It has a front and rear camera with NO FLASH. The pictures are decent definitely better than an iPad or fire. The speakers definitely output good sound and I havent the need to install a speaker booster app. And yes, it does come with a Stereo 3.5 mm port for regular plugin headphones.There is a MicroSDXC slot that supports up to 1 TB. It comes with a charging cable and power adapter and uses fast charging TypeC 2.0. This model has no mobile data connectivity but it has dualband WiFi which is very convenient. The Bluetooth works really good and doesnt drop connection like the fire does. I loved that they added GPS I was relieved to see USB OTG which works very nicely. It has NO NFC which was a bit of a bummer for me, but it does not take away from all the other amazing features.It also includes quite a few sensors and thats a wow factor The interconnectivity between all my other Samsung devices is such a HUGE plus for me. I can make calls and use text messages on the Tab A7 that is in sync with my Note 10 I can interact with my Samsung TV so ridiculously easy that my 6 year old has done it.I can use facial recognition to unlock the A7 and that is truly convenient for my all day use. If youre familiar with the Samsung phone line, it sports pretty much all the same features, like its Samsung browser, which you can sync. Customizability of themesicons is still something that I havent been able to achieve within its own environment but can be done with 3rd party launchers. I also havent been able to move any apps over to the SD card and I can see this concerning me in a few months so I truly hope they bring an update to fix this because this can be a dealbreaker for most users.Overall, Im excited to have this Galaxy Tab A7 in my arsenal of devices. I cant see myself without the ability to interact with my phone and tablet anymore. Its innovating, and one of the biggest reasons why I truly enjoy Samsung. This is a great tablet to own even if you dont own any other Samsung device. The numerous features and premium look of this tablet makes it feel like a flagship cellphone in a huge screen There is an LTE version of this tablet if you really want to take it the extra mile.

This is my first tablet, adding to my Dell laptop and desktop as my only tech stuff up to now beyond the obligatory cell phone. The size of the tablet is large enough to see, while the top sceen icons are teenytiny, like you must be kidding size. It is taking us some time to learn the ropes here as there is no owners manual of any kind provided yeah, I think there is one somewhere on the tablet somewhere but thats like needing pair of scissors to open the plastic package to get to your new scissors. Maybe some might find this somewhat intuitive but we certainly havent so far. Battery power seems to be as advertised about 10 hours or so usage on one charge. The screen is far less sensitive than expected, though, and the device was filled with bloatwear like any new PC, mostly trash that older folks dont need. It did not come with an onboard chip, so we added a 64GB one just in case for 20. We want to get Kindle running and the GPS, too, but these secrets have not been revealed to us so far after a couple of days of head scratching. Lest we may be taken as luddites, we have been using PCs since the Windows 95 era and on up, so while the technology is new its just not intuitive at all for us to get up and running. An attempt at getting help from Samsung.com was not successful, and although we have used the Geek Squad successfully a couple of time in the past, the savings from Black Friday were amazing unless we give it all back just getting it to work, something we are not excited about doing. This was purchased due to the many, many five star reviews and it hopefully will turn out to be what we expect time will tell. Maybe my 40 year old daughter knows something about this type of device, but I think she uses Apple tech, probably way different from this Samsung. Once we figure it out I get the honest impression we will regret not having a pair of them.

I needed a new tablet to replace my aging Tab E which is now over 6 years old. I use my tablet for web browsing, social media, banking, shopping, Netflix, YouTube and the like. I decided to go with the Tab A7 as it looked like it fits the bill. So far I have not been disappointed. Performance is solid and the display is more than bright enough at over 300 nits brightness with excellent contrast and vivid colours. I was able to copy my apps and photos over from my phone and set up overall was a simple, straightforward process. I like the larger, 10.4 inch display which makes everything much easier to read than on my old tablet. Connectivity is excellent and seamless. I find 32 gigs of storage on this device to be more than adequate for what I use it for. I did delete a few preinstalled apps I dont want or need and that freed up a good bit of space as well. Battery life is solid although the included charger is slower than molasses in January.I went with an open box deal and was extremely satisfied with this product. The tablet arrived in brand new perfect condition. Ive bought stuff from OpenBox before and they do not disappoint. I will definitely be purchasing from them again.I only have a couple of minor nitpicks I find this tablet heavy which is unavoidable. A larger tablet means more battery and more glass and those things come with a weight penalty. For the life of me I dont know why the industry insists on putting a rear camera on these tablets. They are next to useless. Id rather see that nixed in favour of a higher quality camera on the front for better video calling. RAM now is cheap and three gigs just wont cut it. I havent experienced issues with lag but apps are getting larger and more RAM hungry. This tablet should have shipped with at least 4 gigs of RAM, minimum,This is far from being the perfect tablet but for the vast majority of people this will definitely fit the bill. Honestly, why pay more for a basic media and streaming device As a side note Ive noticed people in some other reviews having some problems. FYI there is a user manual in the Settings and its quite comprehensive. Try checking that out if you find youre having difficulties. Ive found it to be a very useful resource. I would definitely recommend this despite its very minor shortcomings over pretty much anything else out there including Apples overpriced tablets.

This is my seventh Samsung tablet. I got the Tab S 8.4, the Book 10.6 with the Windows OS, the Tab A 10.1 16 GB, the Tab A 7.0 8GB, the Tab A 8.0 32 GB, the Tab S5e 64 GB, and now this is the Tab A7 32 GB. Obviously I did not need another Samsung tablet, except for one main reason, and that is the fact that the front camera is centered at the top when the tablet is in the landscape position. While the Book 10.6 with the Windows OS also had this feature, it tended to shrink the picture a bit when recording videos, and being a Windows tablet, the videos were harder to upload to Youtube. I wanted this one with a bigger picture on the screen when selfrecording videos, and I am able to upload to Youtube with the luxury of using the Android OS.I also very much like the specifications of the processor in this tablet, the Tab A7 32 GB.Now having said all that, I happen to have an application that tells me the frame rate of my 1080p videos. If I am using lowlight conditions, it does not really record in 1080P 30 fps. Instead, the frame rate is significantly lower. However, if I have good lighting, its recording frame rate is almost as much as 30 fps. Really, when played back, the videos look just fine, although the camera seems to be hunting for the right exposure, so it keeps jumping a few times, going to brighter and dimmer a little bit not too much, though. Who cares, really Im happy with the device It does what I wantedI got this wonderful tablet on sale for around 150.00, and I am getting the video recording features that I want without having to pay a large amount of money for a very expensive laptop, for example, that has 1080p recording capabilities for the frontfacing camera with a landscapecentered lens. This item beats just about anything else for the money, particularly because it records in 1080p with the camera positioned the way I want it to be. I dont know of any other way to get what I want for the money, and I must say Im very satisfied

I got this fairly quickly and Im pretty happy with it, but they dont make obvious information on getting spotifyyoutube for trail. One issue is the face recognition doesnt work very well at all, especially not in bright light. It would have been nice to have a fingerprint reader too. One issue is these things HAVE TO HAVE a cover because they are impossible to holdhandle without touching the sides of the screen constantly, also the back is very slippery so it wont stay in place in bed or on a chair.The sound is fantastic for what it is, the screen, while not being dazzling, it pretty decent. Responsivity is pretty good, some slight lag. I like the OS improvements a lot, especially the permissions. Note that it does have a headphone jackI would say this is a pretty good choice for an entry level product. But I wish that Samsung would approve and support 3 addition OS updates, not just 2. Some of us simply cannot afford a new tablet very often.

Absolutely love this thing. I had a 8 from 2019. Saw this badboy on sale and figured id give it a shot.Its super fast at loading apps. I installed a CBZcbr reader for my manga instead of kindle. I like that that app can read comicsmangas from memory card instead of bogging system down. Pictures look amazingNext, tested movies anime. Again, both look stunning. I used Kodi to test them out. Frame rate was great, no lagging at all.Thing things got what looks like 4 speakers, sound is AMAZING on it. Had to tweak kodi a little for it, change it from 2.0 to 4.0 but yea, not disappoited at allI havent tested streaming from youtube or anything yet. mostly got to watch anime on the go and read mangas. I purchased 2 of these Samsung tablets one for my 95yearold mother and one for me. I used them to teach her how to Zoom with our family, watch her Sunday church services, investigate subjects on Google, watch YouTube videos, receive and send emails, and play solitaire. Its amazing that shes catching on…and I attribute this partly to the general ease in how to use this tablet. The screen is large enough to see things easily, and me keeping a tablet thats identical to my mothers means that simple phone calls between us usually clear up the problems she encounters. Recently, I purchased the Samsung A7 10.4, 32GB tablet. Before this purchase, my only experience with tablets had been with Amazon Fire. While looking for a tablet with the actual Android OS, I discovered that the latest model from Samsung was on sale and decided to purchase one for myself. While testing out this Samsung Tablet, I was blown away by the audio and picture quality of this tablet. This tablet includes four Dolby Atmos speakers, two on each side and even connecting your headphones to it does not diminish the audio quality. This was the best purchase I have ever made and I use it exclusively for watching movies, television shows and anime. Amazon Fire devices are a good entry level tablet but they simply do not compare to the Samsung tablet. I would highly recommend this tablet for those looking for a step up from those bargain priced tablets. I still use my Amazon Fire tablets for reading books but you cant go wrong with this tablet.

I bought this tablet because I am a loyal Samsung user. After using this tablet, I would not recommend buying it at all. First, the display is mediocre at best. It lacks the luster that Samsung is known for. The frame rate is poor quality as well as the pictures it takes. 3 GB or RAM was barely enough to play games such as Call Of Duty Mobile and PUBG. While gaming, the game would lag, the speakers cut out, and game play was nearly impossible. Do yourself a favor and spend a little more and buy something of quality. This will be returned to the store.

I like the android because the keyboards and back features are easier numbers on keyboard and you can look at all open apps by pressing the left button on bottom of screen and close apps by swiping up. Have been using a lot for the last 2 weeks and am still learning of all its features. I bought protector shields and a cool case for it which I think is a must. Just too slippery to hold otherwise. I have been using the Samsung Galaxy Tab A for a while and overall I like it, but really never liked the screen size. I recently got the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 and really like this. The screen is exactly what I want in a tablet at 10.4 inches. The tablet is the perfect size as I use it to stream movies and shows when I am doing the treadmill. It makes it easier to watch and listen with. The speaker on this tablet is really good too. I have it about halfway and the sound is loud enough. The picture quality is also very good and so far I have had no issues with all of the streaming services that I have used on this tablet. The tablet has a USB TypeC port which is my first, so now I have 3 different types of USB connectors. I will probably buy another USB connector for this just to have it around in case one goes missing. I do like the fact it does charge very fast with this connector and it slides in much easier. Hopefully, this will become the next standard for all devices. I use this tablet everyday since I have had it. It is very light and thin. Just need to buy a tablet case, so when I start taking it places it will be protected. Overall, I really like this tablet. The performance is great, sound is really good and the picture quality is awesome.

This tablet is only good for watching content, browsing the web or more specifically reading books or comics.This tablets has a great colour vibrancy and is big enough to even compare to a normal comic page. The detail resolution is high at 2000×1200 and certainly helps when reading text zoomed out.If you want a tablet for cheap MAINLY for reading or looking at pictures. Then this is the tablet to buy.The battery life is pretty good but I find it hard to get it to charge at 100Dont expect this tablet to be FASTSNAPPY with lots of applications open but its fast enough to do everything else.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 has proven to be quite the tool I needed for my home inspection business. This and the job specific software I run on it allows me to take pictures, write reports and deliver them to clients in quick order. Almost everything I run on my desktop can be run on this everyday carry tablet that allows me to talk to the realtor or client in real time and the storage and retrieval keeps records of my transactions without waiting to get home and spend additional time on the desktop. I bought this device solely to be an Xbox Game Pass XCloud tablet. It works great. The display is shaped like a widescreen view, and as such, there are no side borders when watching content. This is a solid device to use for consuming content. The specs are just enough improved over the TabA10.1 from 2019 to get this one. 3 Gigs of Ram, Snapdragon processor over Exynos. All positives. It does not have an OLED panel like the Tab S models, but I dont know if that matters at this price point. My only complaint is that from a longtime iOS user, Android OS has never been all that intuitive.

But after hours of searching, I notice it is totally useless. You can insert it, it sees it. But you cant save anything on it, you canmove app on it. You can change it to internal storage. Like 100 useless. So it is like all the rest, false advertising, forcing you to accept tons of useless app you cant remove and deal with the limited storage left.

I had the tablet that was a model before this one it is a clunky brick compared to this tablet. This seems like a good entrymid level tablet. I mainly use it for web browsing streaming. Its powerful enough for what I need and then some. Seems like it would work well for mediumheavy business use too. It seems like it would be good for social media applications as well but I dont use any of those. I upgraded with this from a old fire hd 10. I have been using this tablet for about a month a half and am happy with it. I would recommend this if your in the market for a entry to mid level tablet for everyday use and some mid to heavy to business applications.

I bought this tablet to replace my Tab 2 which died after 8 years. I am a Samsung fan for life.The Tab A7 is a great tablet for the price 199.99. While I really appreciate the ease of set up, clear and sharp graphics, and battery life, the auto dimming is annoying.The biggest issue that I have is the inconsistent lighting during Zoom calls. Although Ive turned off the Adaptive brightness, the lighting fluctuates everytime. Its a known issue listed in the Samsung issue log on their site.

None of the information on this tablet included the fact that unless you have a cell phone that can accept text messages you cannot use a Samsung account or any of the specialized Samsung features. With the limited memory downloading duplicate apps from the play store that already exist and cant be removed from the table is really annoying.No option to activate your Samsung account except to have a text message sent to a smart phone.I bought a wifi tablet on purpose didnt want something that needed cell reception which is spotty here at best and non existent mostly. The arrogance or stupidity of companies believing that everyone has a smart phone is beyond belief.5 hours on the phone the land line with varied departments and people in customer support only to find that only text message verification works on this tablet so I shall have to use this without any Samsung optimized apps or features. Should work for zoom too bad I wanted it for more than that.

A very good tablet for kids, my daughter loves it. Its built solid, the sound quality is awesome, long lasting battery, nice interface easy to use, good processor, extra storage with a micro SD card is always a plus, and last but not least a fairly reasonable price. My tiny complaint would be the image quality, its decent YouTube in particular, but it could be better especially being a Samsung product. I feel It lacks that vibrant colors usually seeing on Samsung TVs and cell phones. Overall its a nice looking tablet and i highly recommend it especially for your kids.

I originally bought the new iPad 10.2 and at first really enjoyed my time with it. Then after a week of heavy use I decided to return the iPad due to not liking that the screen seemed far away from the actual buttons making a slight lag that annoyed me. Also no usbc.While waiting for the air 4 to go on sale I started looking into Samsungs Tab line and was really intrigued. For 150 I was able to get this A7 10.4 tablet that has a much better screen, the same amount of vram and I didnt have to spend an extra 100 for enough memory to last the life of the device. For 20 I added a 128gb microsd card. I may upgrade to the tab 7 in the future for that screen. Regardless I am very happy with this A7 over the iPad and feel like my budget tablet needs are covered for the next year or two.

Every year for the past 5 years I have purchased myself, my father and my mother the latest Samsung Galaxy Tab A model tablet as they are competitively priced and great quality devices. Samsung have always been a brand I have put my trust in. This year like usual I purchased three Samsung Galaxy Tab A7s for us all for Christmas. I wrapped my mothers and fathers up for Christmas day and decided to open mine last night. Ive never been so disappointed opening and using a Samsung product in my life. The screen is absolutely appalling on this model. It reminds me of the very first Amazon Kindle 7 tablets. The brightness is rediculously weak, the viewing angles are rubbish and theres this really weird prominent blue tinge to the colour that you get with really inferior poor quality panels. Unless you are right Infront of the screen you might as well not bother. Cant really tell you about the performance as all three of these will be going straight back to where I bought them from and I think its time that I started looking at other tablets from other manufacturers now. The one thing on a tablet that should stand out is the screen. After all, this is going to be what youre going to be looking at all day over so if the screens rubbish you might aswell be holding a brick. Cant comment on performance as I couldnt be bothered using it with such a poor display. Compared it to my previous generation 2019 Tab A and I would say the display on the previous generation is twice as good as this. Ive been a loyal Samsung customer now for many years but it seems as though Samsung have given up caring about its customers needs and instead would rather take shortcuts and use cheap low quality panels in their Tab A range to keep costs down. Ive had a look online and there is so much competition now in this price bracket that I think its time I went with a brand that doesnt cut corners like this. Like many other low budget Samsung devices you shouldnt have too high expertations,unless you dont want to get disapointed frustrated about all of the technical bugs etc.Whats frustrating me too much is that this device have too many bugs errors in the script.Like that the device constantly have errors in the web browser such as constantly close down will go back to startmenu not register new accounts on other web sites Note in Firefox, will neither have same support for many online webservices like protonmail.This device is also incompatible with multitasking. So for an ex if I will look at a youtube or similar content in one window,and at the same time will do a google serach the device shuts downpauses the videoclip.Im also frustrated about that my my device constantly a bug, wich explains why my web browser constantly shuts down.This is realated to if you choose multiple languages. For an ex if you choose other than the factory set in wich country you bough the devivce in. In my case if you choose English instead of Swedish this will occure.At the same time if you choose multiple languages the software will aut set up for the upcoming in the list.It also frustrates me that the device flip function is too sensitive.It can be enough for the sensor if I make a swipe gester over the screen.Its also frustrating that the device is useless in bright sunlight.Both that the screen gets completly black have turned the aut adaptive function off, but also that the screen is too shiny too many reflections.But at the sametime if Im inside in normal roomtemperaturre the screen works fine.Note that this is related to the newer models with Android 10 2020

The tab is amazing except I got this for skemoen else and upset the person responsible for assisting me with this purchase in fact did with the first question try to help. Failing to follow up with any double checking what the true customers needs and wants were failed in getting an upsell even as it does not have the sim card capabilities which the person this gift is for wanted exactly it for that one capability the one it doesnt have. Not happy as it was after the 14 days of course once they got in contact with me after they struggled to find out how to get that to work then bc I never used tablets but am tech savvy with phones and laptops desktops dishes and internet. Didnt know not all tablets offered that I thought it came with all of them a simple quick so youre not wanting to make calls or whatever else the two different tablet have distinguishing one another from the other and then would have a very satisfied customer. As this isnt the products fault I rated them according to their product with its listed capabikities which it is great at.

It seems that Samsung didnt want to create a good tablet with this model. The newest Android 11 update caused the device to reboot and shutdown randomly. Apps crashed fairly regularly, and it wasnt too responsive either. Better to save a little bit and buy something better like the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite or even the regular iPad. The display is not of good quality either. Its dim and has washed out colors as another reviewer mentioned.

Best value tablet for media consumption 150.. but iPad better overallI personally like Android, iOS, and Windows.. Windows for computers, iOS for tablets, and Android for cell phones. I personally wouldnt want to use iOS on a phone.. Wouldnt wanna use Windows on a tablet or phone.. And Android I would usually only use on cell phones, but theyve gotten better in the tablet department. I still think apps are more optimized for iOS and I dont ever think that will change, unfortunately.Even on this tablet, android, the apps, imo, arent as optimized or as finetuned as their iOS counterparts. And there are small things that iOS just does better.. Quality of life things. Im sure there are things you can modinstall on android tablets to achieve QoL things comparable to iOS, but its just one more step. Which isnt a bad thing.. Having the power to make your tablet however you want.. Thats the power of android for sure.So basically the purpose of this purchase was to hold me over until I get the iPad Mini 6 next year. Imo, the ipad mini is just the perfect size for my overall usage. I like using my tablet in bed, and I had the regular ipad and it was just too heavy to use while in bed.. However, I do miss the size of the regular ipad. One gets used to the size of the ipad mini, but it is nice having that larger screen for watching movies, streams, etc. But I still prefer the iPad mini overall for its portability.After using this tablet for a few days, I think Ill probably end up keeping this Tab A7. For 150 its a pretty great value. Especially for media consumption. I think if someone has to choose an iPad for 250 new on sale or 150 new on sale for this Tab A7, Id recommend the Tab A7 if someone is going to be using it for mostly media consumption. I think if one wants to play games, take notes, or draw, the iPad would be the better option.Im not heavily into the android or iOS ecosystem so I feel pretty free to use whatever suits my needs at the time.If youre an iPad user or iphone user.. You may miss some things.. Like I really like how iOS does their settings gestures and their notification gestures.. On the A7 theyre all grouped together and I find it very cluttered. I bought 2 of these because they were on sale for 150. The older A7 is a bit faster atleast for me. And Im very particular on that. My complain on this tablet is the battery, dont last long. When in use they ran out fast and when not in use they still drain up, yes they still drain out when not in use. And they drain pretty fast like less 3weeks when not in use, they still get drained. I bought 2 so the one was left in the drawer for a while. I found that out accidentally so I made an experiment on the other one too. Same result. Other than that issue theyre decent tablets.

Pros Overall… Brilliant. Does what you need a tablet to do. Great graphics, great speed, little lag.Cons I would not recommend to buy it only one reason. Apps do not copy On the sd card no way to transfer them. Got in touch with Samsung, there will be no update to rectify this. Right out the box ur already using 46 capacity. With a few apps… Well over 50. Then remember updates. Its so limited it what you can put on it false advertising about expandable memory… You can only put files… But no apps. If I would have known this I would not have bought it. Stay informed. If this isnt an issue for you, then its a terrific device, otherwise like anyone else you will download apps and run out of memory with just a few. Very poor performance on Samsungs behalf.

The review is for the 2020 Tab A7 which is amazing. For a base tablet it works great. It has ONE unique feature that really sets it apart for most other tablets unless they are cellular. It has a magnetometer sensor Compass which is different from GPS. This tablet will allow you to know which way is north. So for those of us that use tablets for navigation this addition is a real plus For those using drones a MAJOR plus. And for those of us not wanting to spend an extra hundred or so for cellular a hundred pluses.The rest of the tablet functions accordingly and for my needs it ticks off all the right boxes.Really, really well done Samsung. Apple take notice.

It is pretty fast and does all the normal stuff G f pretty well. This is my fifth android tablet, going back to 2.3. It is the first one that freezes occasionally. The main negative is that text on a white background is pretty washed out and if you are glare sensitive, as am I you will need to customize a lot of apps to dark mode, or if available in the app, sepia mode. I dont think I will return it, as the plusses outweigh the negatives. I do wonder if the 149 Christmas bargain units maybe got reject screens.

I opened the tablet as soon as I got it. Set up was super easy. I have other samsung items which made it faster. The picture quality and sound in the tablet is AMAZING. The sound i felt like i was in a surround sound. I love amaz9n products but this one topped my currently 5 year old tablet. 1110 for sure I have had it for a few days now and have only needed to charge it once. It is super lightweight. I use it for my reading. The camera is okay. In my opinion not the best clarity but I will definitely try different settings.

I bought this for my teenager. He is a gamer and was using a very old android tablet of mine to game since his ipad would not allow him to download certain new games. I thought about getting him a new ipad but did not want him to run into the same issue of not being able to download certain appsgames in a year or so if they were to do an update or change something. Also the ipad does not let you easily add memory which is a huge issue since he will be using it for school and gaming for years to come. Also many of the school websites dont run on Safari Apple browser so this one was a no brainer.He loves this tablet there is no lagging with Fortnite, Roblox, and any of the larger sized games that he has downloaded. Even if you dont, its a solid pick.In video calls and streaming, the picture and sound are very clear. The display is bright and vivid, and for someone casual like me, theres no noticable difference between this and the competitor tablet that I own. I do get irritated a bit that newer tablets have the camera positioned on the top center of the long edge, to almost force you to hold it in landscape mode during video calls. Maybe its just personal preference, but I do think it makes it harder to get your face completely in the frame.Im able to run basic games think mobile games without any lag or issues, and other basic tasks are also fine. I think the performance is about what youd expect, and most people would be satisfied.I also have a Samsung phone and refrigerator. I like that I can use the tablet for meal planning, and send things like my shopping list, menu, and photos to display on my fridge. I havent connected my phone yet, but I like that there are integrations for that as well.Im cynical about facial recognition, but its actually fantastic on the tablet. It recognizes me to login from different lighting, angles, and regardless of how much of a mess I am. Its also quick, which was a pleasant surprise.The last thing Ill say is that the battery life is excellent. It rarely needs to be charged.

Bought the Samsung A7 to replace an aged Lenovo tablet. Better in most respects except in one key area, the colour balance of the display. Reds are dull and brownish which gives everything a yellowygreen tint. Nothing looks natural. There are no colour balance adjustments available in settings. Tried activating Developer Options, but no adjustments their either. Not an expensive tablet I know, but I expected better than this.

My wife likes this tablet very much so far, very good value for a little over 200. Just one initial issue, frustrating but solved with a call to Samsung personal support. As delivered, it was configured with Voice Assistance forget exactly what it was called turned on you wouldnt think so, but this little helper required you to hit a number or letter like for a UserID or Password during initial setup THREE TIMES to enter it that was nuts. Once Samsung support told us to inactivate Voice Assistance, you only had to hit a number or letter once to enter it, you know, like normal. Incredibly annoying, almost took the thing back, should not have been delivered or configured that way, but Samsung made got it resolved pretty quickly. Otherwise, all good, no complaints.

I replaced an old glitchy bargain brand tablet with this sweet piece of technology. What a difference This was the first piece of Samsung gear for me my previous phones were LGs and now a Moto, perhaps Ill consider a Samsung phone next time too. It is sleek and stylish, slim with an aluminum body. Still getting used to how Samsung manages things but so far I like it. Videos from Hulu or Amazon look great on its 10.4 display syncing with my email etc. was a breeze. No complaints. I ordered a nice case and cover glass for it first thing. Purchased this tablet to replace an older, cheaper one that was just out of memory. This Samsung tab a7 has 64 gb, which may not be enough for some people, but is more than adequate for my needs especially considering my last tablet was only 16 gb. Ive found it to be easy to use, easy to add apps through play store and easy to make adjustments through settings. At 77 years old, and only semi computer literate, I need these things in a tablet. One recommendation I have, however, get a folding case cover for this tablet. At 10.4 its very thin and tricky to hold on to. The cover, when folded back, makes a great handle. No complaints so far.

The gold color gives it a stylish touch.I was able to set it up easily. Its processor is fast and works smoothly. The face recognition feature is great for unlocking the tablet. I like the 10.4 inch display, as its big enough to do enough officeschool work or watch videos. The display quality is good, it shows picture clear and beautifully.Another feature that really impressed me is the surround sound speakers. Tab A7 is a nice upgrade to my previous samsung tablet. However, one thing that does bug me a little, the bezel around the edge of the screen and the headphone jack edge feel sharp to the touch. Almost feels cheap and crude. It could be just my copy, but in all other regards it is a good little performer. Oh yes, the screen. Its 10.4 inch and is noticabley bigger than the previous 10.1 it seems brighter, colours are good. And the sound is great, especially if using earphones or a smart telly.

The 32 version fills up really quickly with the number of apps used. Samsung should reactivate the ability to save apps to the sd card in their next update.

I have tended to buy IT gadgets in the budget range, but am now boycotting Chinese products whenever possible. Although I have previously had Lenovo products their lifespan has been barely 3 years, so am hoping the superior quality Samsung beats that longevity. A VERY slippery casing and the screen is a fingerprint magnet so a protective case andor screen protector is strongly suggested. I did succumb to buying a very effective Chinese shockproof case with combined screen protector which makes the tablet quite clunky but dropping tablets can damage the screen digitizer that will effectively kill a tablet.

I picked up the new Samsung Tab A7 tablet and was excited to get it out of the box and start using it. After initial setup I was greeted to a bright and vibrant screen. I started to load up apps from the Google Play store and then wanted to move the apps to my 128GB MicroSD card I installed. To my surprise Samsung has disabled this feature in the Tab A7. You can only save documents and pictures to the MicroSD card now.In summary the new Samsung Tab A7 is a great budget tablet with great sound and vibrant screen, just be aware of the inability to move apps to a MicroSD card.

This is a Samsung Tab A7, 32 GB, Dark Grey tablet, powered by Android and secured by Knox. The dimensions are 9 34inches x 6 18 inches. The tablet comes with a quick reference guide and wallusb charger. The screen display is bright and colorful. The installingregistering instructions are easy to follow . The tablet is thin but does have a little weight to it. The case is metal and somewhat slippery, so I ordered a case to make it less likely to drop. Settings are easy to adjust and downloading apps are pretty fast. It also charges pretty fast. The only thing I wasnt fond of is it comes with the brightness turned all the way down, and each time you turn it off the brightness again returns to the lowest level. This makes it difficult to manage the screen until you increase the brightness. I already have an older iPad but do find this tablet will be my new replacement. I would recommend

Our Tab E charger port died. Replaced it with this unit. The Tab A7 is larger, faster, takes better photos. Have not yet figured out how to move apps to the SD card. May have to read the manual or search the web for advice. Love having the sd for cheap, vast storage. Still testing new capabilities. While it is WIFI only and our Tab E was not, we rarely used the T Mobile capabilities of the E and were paying monthly so in a year we will have recouped the cost in monthly fees we are not paying. May buy another to replace our other Tab E.

arrived in a bigger box than size of product, bouncing around because there was no pkg, for instance bubble wrap tablet has glitches like blinking in and out while filling out forms like this review, its temperamental and you never know when its going to do it. screen response is fair. device care is messed up, makes me do it twice to back out. adaptive lighting is slow to respond. did not come with the fast charging wall charger or cord, screen doesnt say fast charging but when i use one i bought it does. theres plenty more, but im not returning because i cant be without my tablet, its my communication and tv. im sure samsung sent me a used tablet not new actually my trade in samsung tab a was in better condition than this tab a7.

This is a really nice tablet. It has nice vibrant colors and everything loads fast on it. I have not yet found anything that I dislike about it. I love that it has a camera so you can use it for pictures. The camera quality is decent for a tablet. The thing I love most about it is that the battery life last a long time When I have things I am doing I want a long lasting battery and this tablet has a great long lasting battery life. Weather playing it or even just sitting. The battery life is great. I use this one over my old tablet now and I love it. I would recommend to anyone adults or children this is a good quality and brand tablet. This makes playing games a fun and exciting experience. You can also watch movies, go on social media, and so many other things. This tablet is a great pick.

Great product from Samsung, huge upgrade from the Tab A and has adequate storage space for general tablet game player. Additional storage via SD for photo back up and offline file reading. Havent tried SD storage for video yet. Best upgrade over Tab A is charging port and screen quality. Would definitely recommend for children using tablets. Picture quality is decent for a tablet, but I dont generally use my tablet as a primary picture taker. Best uses general internet surfing, house automation, google play games, travel, ereader. I would not generally use this as a primary elearning device, you can get a cheaper reasonably priced chrome book for that

Got this tablet for a good deal on Easter. Ordered at night, available for pickup the following morning Its size is just perfect, the build doesnt feel cheap at all because its not made of plastic. And even if it has a 1cm bezel it still looks neat coz it doesnt have a home button. Plus the bezel helps prevent accidental touches. Performance is great as well for my daily use with its 3 GB RAM. Also love the very fast facial recognition feature to unlock the screen.

My previous Samsung tablet was fantastic and is still going strong but after many years of trouble free use I definitely needed to upgrade. I picked this A7 and it arrived 36hrs later, I dont think I could have been happier It was so easy to set up, it is very light and feels great in the hand. The A7 Charges fast and has a great battery life, it can take a good size expansion card so even with an internal 32GB I am confident that memory space is not going to be an issue for many years. Running Android 10 the A7 is fast when opening apps and video and picture is very high quality on the 10 screen. I thought my previous Samsung tablet was good but this A7 is a whole another level. My problem is my partner likes it a little too much to so I have to keep an eye on it

This has been a good tablet for me. Its neither too big nor too small, screen has good color and speakers sound better than I expected. Cameras arent very good, but that is mentioned in all the reviews of the product, so that wasnt a surprise. Its got excellent battery life at about 14 hours per charge. I use it for quick browsing and reading book pdfs with a few videos here and there. I dont use it for gaming, so I cant speak to how well it does with that.

I tried this tablet but did not liked it. Compared to the last year model that it replaced, it feels very plastic. This is not really an upgrade, more of the same with a face lift. I actually think the last year model was a better tablet. They are both slow, so if speed performance is important to you, get a different tablet. This one has smaller Bessel, bigger screen, but… the screen is not tuned in correctly, it is always like to bright and distorted, and it the color balance is awful, way too blue. The sound can be considered an improvement because now it has speakers on both side of the tablet which I will admit creates more of a surround experience, but the speakers themselves are subpar compared to the ones on last year model, which had more base and sounded more tight and better tuned. The Dolby Amos is useless, that is just a gimmick that really doesnt add anything to the sound experience, you can activate it and deactivate or switch among the different options and you wont be able to heartell the difference. You can improve more the audio by downloading an equalizer app. So they both slow tablets good enough to consume media, read news articles, watch Netflix but not much else. The display although a bit bigger, it is not well tune and thus doesnt look as good as the prior model, I think this could be fix with a software update if they ever release an update. The sound is about equal except that now you get speakers on both sides for a more immersive experience while watching a movie. Battery last about the same. They are both very finnicky with regard connecting to WIFI, so you might get some issues there. Note that because of the lack of processor performance and display resolution, they to limit the quality of the videos this tablet can play, so although some videos can be watch in 4K on more expensive tablets, the very same video are limited to 720p or 1080p and there is nothing you can do to change it. But for 150 on sale, if all you want to do is watch news, YouTube and dont care about image quality, this tablet can do the job for only 150. Also, horrible viewing angle, and if the movie have a lot of dark scene parts, be ready for a very noisy and washout experience, there are no deep blacks on this tablet. Although the screen doesnt recognize a pen, you can still use one of those pen with the rubber tip and it reacts to it, so it is just like having a pen for navigating the menu.

I have been wonderfully pleased with this tablet. It is my first Samsung as previously I have gone with cheaper brands but I am glad I spent a little extra since it has been well worth it. I did not need the high priced model since I dont do games, etc. That also means I could get away with less ram although I was surprised with how much the operating system and my basic apps used up. I still think there is plenty of room for a long time and I have a memory card in the slot that I use to store any extras. Again I dont use it much for watching or streaming, etc. but for my basic usage and book reading it has been great.

Pros I viewed this tablet instore before lockdown to compare it with other samsungs and the new budget ipad. Chose this tab because of the 4 speakers, light weight and lovely metal back, and great screen with the perfect ratio for watching movies etc. Also we are pretty much a samsungandroid family. Purchased as a gift for Christmas and i know she will be happy with our choice.Cons I really cant think of any improvements. Very impressed and fab price.

I was researching various tablets for quite some time comparing prices, specs, reading user reviews, etc. and had narrowed it down to a few I was interested in. When this model went on sale I decided on the Galaxy Tab as a good choice, as it handles what I need.I have had this tablet for about a month now and its been working really well. I was really impressed by the fact that I could seamlessly transfer all my information from my Note 8 to my tablet. The screen is a good size and apps and websites load quickly. I also use it for Game Pass, and I have yet to experience any issues with lag or games crashing.The camera is decent. Its definitely not professional studio quality, but I doubt many people are purchasing tablets solely for their cameras.My only gripe is that the included charge cable is way too short. Im currently using a different cable, but it takes a long time to charge.Overall, I think this is a decent tablet and recommend purchasing it.

Cost was 550.00 on sale.I have owned 5 or 6 different models. I just returned a Tab A 10.1 128GB. It was a good tablet however it had some glitches but did not want to wait for fixes. Or perhaps the tablet did have WiFi issues. Had to Restart in order to get connected to internet.Anyway I just completed setup on my Tab 7A 10.4 and I Love it Already The slightly larger screen feels a Lot bigger.Definitely one of Samsungs Best Very Happy with 10.4 screen

I bought this tablet to supplement a Galaxy Tab A 10.1 that I purchased two years ago. The new tablet is a bit faster than what I was used to. The sound, coming from 4 speakers, is improved and quite good. For the life of me, I dont understand some of the reviews on here from users who were dissatisfied with the performance. Not everyone is good at understanding technology and how to use, so I guess Ill chalk it up to that. Samsung appliances are terrible, but their electronic device are superb.

This was a gift for my son for his birthday. Overall he really likes the tablet. The screen size and quality is a big plus. The processor and memory seems sufficient, there is no lag in any of the apps or games hes used it for. The biggest complaint I would have is that it does not appear there is a way to extend the system storage with the microSD slot. It can be used to store photosvideosetc however it cannot extend the storage available to apps similar to what the Fire tablets are capable of.

Was hoping for something that would be compareable to my samsung galaxy tab A 9.7 that ive used for over 4 years. Unfortunately it seems i was wrong. This tablet is smaller than my 9.7 and its advertised as 10.4. Also the front facing camera does not work at all. It says cannot connect to camera when trying to use the front camera. The battery life is half of the old tablet and overall is clunky compared to a tablet costing less over 4 years ago. I could go on but what is the point. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT

For this price level you just cant get any better. Its quite good performing tablet, with good quality screen, large battery, and quite fast too. I bought it for my wife, and shes quite happy with it to say the least. One of the reviewers said the screen is rubbish, but I totally disagree. Its very bright and the colours are vibrant. Its very snappy, apps are quick and responsive, switching is immediate, and theres no blur or burn that plagues some other, especially SuperAmoled screens.

I bought this over boxing week and I was looking for something to replace my TAB S2 8.0 that got damaged. I only use it for watching videos. Whether it be TV channels or Netflix. I was very happy with the S2. Its only issue was the battery. But the screen was fantastic. I wasnt sure if the TAB A7 would be up to the same level in terms of the screen. But Im very happy with it. I got it on sale, I was happy I got the 64GB for the same sale price as the 32GB. I was very torn between the S6 Lite and the A7 2020. Screenwise they are the same. The only difference was the pen that i would not use. The cpu were different. And for what Im using it for, it works fantastic. The screen is very responsive, if there are a lot of apps open, there is a bit of lag. It still checked all my needs. I considered the S7, but it was way too expensive for what I wanted to use it for, but it had the OLED screen that my S2 had which was so crisp even after a few years. I have no intention of using the tablet for anything more than watching shows or surfing the web for shopping purposes. One thing I did notice was that It is a lot heavier than my S2. It is larger vs the 8 S2, but I was surprised at the weight. I think its on par with the iPad that we also have. The thing that i really liked was the 4 speakers and the sound is terrific. The S6 lite doesnt have this. but most of the time i am using bluetooth headphones with the tablet for sound.

Tablet has nice bright screen, long lasting battery, and a much better processor than the 2019 version. Nice and thin and very easy to set up and use. Its excellent at streaming movies etc. The 4 speakers and dolby has really great sound and is a lot louder than some other tablets Ive used. WiFi works great and have already received two software updates that you dont see in a lot of them. I am very satisfied with it and have not had any problems at all. Would definitely recommend to anyone as its great for the money spent.

This is my first time ordering online from Best buy and will be the last. The tablet arrived late, when it did arrive it was packaged in a plastic bag with no padding and no packing of any kind. Not even an invoice. The box was sealed with the plastic stickers. When I remove the stickers and open the box I discovered that the tablet had arrived with no dust cover and fingerprints on the back of the tablet upon closer inspection I discovered that the tablet was bowed in the center. Since the box was sealed they clearly sent me a refurbished tablet.Since the tablet is damaged and not what I ordered I was unable to use it so I cannot tell you if the quality of the product is any good or not so I will be giving poor ratings across the board. This is completely unacceptable. Poor shipping practices and shady product sales.I will now have to return the tablet to a store location which I was trying to avoid in the first place. I will never order online from Best buy again.

I bought this tab as a cheaper alternative for my aging 2013 iPad. I use it mainly to play Tapped Out, use social networking apps, use travel apps while traveling and maybe reading some times. I do not use it to watch shows or movies, as I prefer TV. I do not use phone or tablet to take pictures when traveling, so camera resolution feature unimportant to me.Pros of this tablet Sufficient speed for non memoryintensive games and general surfing and social media apps Face recognition for unlocking works most of the time Has expandable memory. I am using this tablet as my music streaming device by moving all my mp3s on the memory card. Battery life is satisfactory definitely not as long lasting as iPadCons of the tablet The biggest problem with this tablet is even though it uses Android OS, it still operates in its own Samsung environment. It wont tether to my Pixel phone or to my Windows 10 laptopcomputer. Unlike a seamless experience MacOS environment over iPhoneiPadMac, this tablet operates in a standalone environment. I cannot receive phone calls or text messages over this tablet Even funnier, it wont talk to Samsung TV, I had to install the SmartThings app for my Smart TV on my Pixel, as this app cannot be installed ont he tablet. Using Chromecast with this tablet is a big hassle. Unlike Pixel, this tablet cannot directly connect with Chromecast. You have to use the Google Home app or the feature within the app to use Chromecast Photo app is a joke. You can only stream photos over chromecast after displaying a picture, but the slideshow feature will only work in the main menu of photo app. Worse, you cannot adjust the speed at which image will change.TLDR It is a decent tablet if on sale, but go for an iPad if you can afford one. If you have an Android phone, this tablet is definitely not a companion for your phone.

I do a lot of on line shopping and it is quick to load and move from item to item. Downloads quick. Easy to print from. Great for playing games and watching movies or t.v. I look up lots of stuff on the internet and it is fast and usually takes me where I want to go. Being a Sr Citizen, I am not as expert as my children and grandchildren but am learning as I go. This is not the tablet for gaming, but if its not to demanding it will work. I played Ori and the Will of the Wisps. Speaker on this thing is great. Im no audio expert but it has a nice kick.In flying my drone which was the main reason for this Tablet it is AWESOME. Im enjoying the bigger screen now its not bright enough, but it wasnt designed for direct sunlight. All in all for a 150 id by it again.

Purchased the tablet recently for my mom for Mothers Day. Item matched the description, and the set up was quick easy. I did opt for a different charging block from Amazon as I wasnt satisfied with the one the tablet originally came with. Overall, very satisfied with the tablets functions, and the snappiness of the system. Would recommend if youre on a budget or seeking for something simple. Pros It does everything I need and unlike Apple, Samsung doesnt appear to slow down the performance on products as they age iPhone user. The 256gb micro SD card I got, for just an extra 30 Gives me plenty of storage. Speed was good even in battery save mode. Quad speakers are good when watching SkyGo and the 10.4 screen better for video chat than on a small phone.Cons The included charger doesnt do fast charge but they are not too expensive if I need one. Plus the cable length is a bit too short, but it did only cost 169One tip, its very light so invest in a good protective case.

This tablet hits the right points on expectations from what I have for a Samsung product. I expect this tablet to have a high durable build, a sleek design,a loud and good quality speaker, and a crystal clear and responsive screen. The affordability sacrifices some of the power of other models, but the cost based analysis works for me. If you are a high powered gamer, this probably isnt your bag…though it does the job, you may expect a bot more if you want to play competitively. But for the casual gamer, you will easily play the games you want to play with no issues. The screen is great and the audio is boastful for a small device. I believe this is a worthy purchase for the price.

My Husband said that this was the best Birthday gift he ever received. He was a non tablet user before this one. He always said he had no use for a tablet since he had a smartphone and laptop. He cant but it down, very easy to use. Very lightweight, very good picture quality. Large screen. Great value. We just bought this tablet. It was a Christmas gift for my husband. He went out of town so he did not use the tablet until recently and noticed that the screen has a crack in it. When I called Best Buy I was told they could not do anything since it was past the 15 days return policy. We spent a lot of money on this tablet, and now for it to have a crack is very upsetting when it has not been dropped or damaged by us in anyway. We have a cover to protect it. I feel like this crack was there when it was purchased and since he had not used it we did not notice it.We have done some research and have found many people posting that their screens on this tablet are cracked.If there is anything that can be done I would greatly appreciate it.Thanks Kim

Im very disappointed with this tablet. I upgraded from a working Samsung Tab A 10.1 2016. Frankly its a downgrade. The most important thing on a tablet is the quality of the screen. The A7 colours look completely washed out. Secondly the screen looked instantly dirty from unboxing. I dont know whether this is dirty screen effect or if its a fingerprint magnet. Thirdly, and this was the biggest shock, the screen on my old Tab A 10.1 2016 gets much brighter approximately 100 brighter. I cant read the A7 in bright sunlight like I can my old Tab A 10.1 2016. The screen on my old Tab A 10.1 2016 is better in every respect its far more colour accurate, it gets much brighter, it doesnt look dirty. The sound on the A7 is mediocre even with Dolby Atmos on and thats being generous. I dont notice any difference in speed day to day despite the A7 having 1GB more RAM. In fact when I checked Device Maintenance on both tablets the A7 has less available RAM. In short do not buy the A7 to replace a working Tab A 10.1 2016. You will be disappointed.

I purchased this as an upgrade from my Samsung Galaxy Tab A 2 years old. I got it on sale with 100 off. Wow What a great little tablet. It weighs about the same as my Tab A even though it is larger. Responsive. Great speakers. Its not a heavy duty power house, but its perfect for my uses. Reading from Kindle app, watching movies on the treadmill, etc. Its definitely worth looking at if you are considering a tablet purchase.

This is a great tablet, I highly recommend it. I bought it primarily to use as a TV in the kitchen and out on the back deck. It serves that purpose well with the large screen and four speakers. The speakers are great for listening to music too. Fast charging battery theres a setting for that, and great battery life. The 64GB memory card is a nice bonus. It can take up to a 1TB card, if you need more storage. This could easily serve as an option to a laptop. Its much more enjoyable playing games on this than on a phone. It takes nice pictures too. This review is mostly for a specific group of parents with toddlers. Absolutely love the functionality of this tablet. My only downside is that it was purchased for a 2 year old, and unlike the older models, it doesnt have any actual buttons on the main screen to go back or go home. Everything is touch on the actual screen, and even for me it gets a bit annoying having to touch the right areas on the screen to be able to exit out of an app or go back or home. For example, when my son is playing on an app and hes tired of it, every time I try to touch the screen to make the home touch button pop up and be able to exit out, I just end up touching other parts in the game. Theres a special way you have to remember or teach your child to swipe up on the screen to be able to more easily get it to come up. Also when the tablet goes idle, to wake it back up it gets a little uncomfortable for a child to get to the side power button when a childproof case is on. Thats not technically a bad thing, just annoying if youre a bit lazy like me and want them to be more independent. Lol. Unlike the other models, where you can touch the physical home button on the screen to power it back up therefore, a kid could do it on their own. Other than that he navigates through the apps very well and the functionality and battery life overall is great

For the money this tablet is excellent. If you want to stream videos and movies etc the graphics and screen resolution is excellent. Ive also read that is good for gaming, not that Ill being any of that. If you cant be bothered to hunt down your headphones, streaming or listening to music is also a pleasure. It has 4 speakers 2 on each corner With a full metal back, the build feels good and solid. Although Id say you would definitely need a case to go along with this, as being metal, it it does feel quite slippy in your hands so this would to save your tablet from any accidental breakages if dropped. This came with an excellent offer of a free Samsung book cover. All in all this is a very good tablet and I would recommend it.

Samsungs are often good and this tablet so far is no exception. Its screen is both big and fairly responsive to touch. The battery lasts a few days on a good charge. During the Texas Freeze I found this tablet to be a godsend whenever I managed to get wifi. It functioned as a small computer for me when I needed to address issue via email. Or kept me entertained while we waited out the storm. The only issue that prevents me from giving it 55 is a minor one. Theres an issue where it locked up and I couldnt use the screen. It just wouldnt function. I managed to hard reset it and it worked again. Though after that the problem hasnt reemerged. I think the software has already been patched. Regardless, if youre looking for a good tablet with plenty of screen space then considered this one. It really isnt halfbad.

While Ive certainly touched and played with tablets over the years, I never seriously considered buying one for myself until this year. And so far, for not being a highend model, Id have to say the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 64GB has been quite a nice little unit.Until earlier this year, my main computer was a 2011 MacBook Pro, which mostly I was using as a desktop replacement, but I would also take on the road with me as I needed it. So, finally, I decided to buy a regular desktop computer, and honestly I just havent touched anything else other than my smartphone. Well, a friend visited and we both used her tablet a lot, so I decided to take the plunge.I first bought the 32GB model, and after a week or so I decided to get the 64GB version instead. While there have been ways in the past to forcibly enable the capacity to use your microSD card as part of onboard storage this is called adoptable storage the big issue here is its not really supported, and doing OS upgrades can mess with this if you try and force the matter. All I want is to just use the thing, not hack it and turn it into an electronic hobbyhorse, so thats what really motivated me to get the 64GB version.Ive now had it for several weeks, and Im surprisingly pleased with it. The battery life is great, and while it would never survive a headtohead comparison with especially the current generation of higherend and highestend iPads, thats not the point. For normal productivity and entertainment needs, this unit is great, and even though I got this for a Black Friday price, at regular price its still justifiable over, say, an Amazon Kindle, because you have full access to the Google Play Store, and you can not only install the Kindle app, but Barnes and Nobles Nook app, as well as make use of offerings through your local library system which, in case you werent aware, also offer ebooks.Physically, this is a really sturdy tablet, and will accept microSD cards up to 1TB in size. You can easily connect it to your computer GNULinux, macOS, or Windows to copy files onto and off of it, and copy over your favorite .OGGOGA and .MP3 files and use them as alarmnotificationringtone sounds. You cant do that on an iPad.

Ive had this Galaxy Tab A7 for few days now and Im not happy with it. A few times while I have been using it the screen just goes blank. I wait a few seconds and I think it has shut down but thats not the case. I hit the power button and nothing happens. I hit the power button again, still nothing. I sit the tablet down and all of a sudden the display comes alive after several seconds. If I turn it off and then I realize I want to do something else and I hit the power button it doesnt light right back up. I have to wait several seconds before the display lights back up. Dont understand. My Galaxy Tab 4 didnt react like this. Disappointed.

Pros nice screen, good battery life for general browsing and social media. Plays video with VLC no problem.Cons face unlock is a bit finicky, bit heavier than Id expected bought online during lockdown.Ive had a couple of streaming apps get buffering issues but since VLC works it seems like thats the app or internet connection, not the tablet. On a similar note a lot of apps dont seem to be optimised for anything other than phones any more so the layout often doesnt really take advantage of the real estateresolution but again its not the tablets fault.

Ive always been a Samsung products fan for at least 15 years or more. My old Samsung tablet was efficient but I was in need of a newer, faster model. Purchased this tablet mid November 2020 and once again it didnt disappoint. To say I love it is an understatement.It connects with my Samsung 9 phone and my 65 Samsung flat screen tv beautifully. Excellent product at a great price and the people at Best Buy were very helpful when I traded my old tablet for the new one.

I needed to replace my 2016 Galaxy Tab A because it was only 16 gigs and was always low on space even with my 128 gig SD card. Not all apps can be moved to the SD.This Tab A7 is awesome. Its faster and the screen is more responsive than my Tab A. I love the quad speakers. I dont need my Bluetooth speakers when I want to play music anymore. The display handles hi def videos no prolbemMake sure to get at least the 64 gig model. They made it so you can no longer move apps to the SD card so dont skimp on the price and buy the 32 gig. Youll be sorry. Get the 64 or 128 gig model. Its money well spent.

All is nice and Good quality from Samsung with Android 10.0 system. Battery life is good too, for kids games and home work . it goes all day on single charge. Only thing missing is facility to transfer data from internal memory to SD card to free up some RAM , that makes installing MicroSD Card Useless. i hope Samsung will make some changes in upcoming UPDATE. being entry level tablet it is missing Gyroscope and proximity sensor and gravity sensor some some of game could not play on it. overall good experience.

Cannot go wrong with Samsung devices. Generally sturdy, ease of use and can last years. The A7 has a sleek thin design, not too awkward to hold but pls buy a decent case to carry and protect. Its my 2nd tablet A6 previo, still working after 5 yrs, bigger screen needed so not difficult to set up. Audio quality is really good, visual quality also very good. The 10.4 screen is great for reading emails, articles, online shopping, watch movies etc, camera ok not great a little grainy. A good buy.

Bought this for a browsing and music platform. The tablets screen is excellent, the speed is very good and with the addition of a 256 G SD card holds all my songs and pictures handily. Install the SD card while tablet is on. Easy to read, stable and sturdy. Not sure why other reviews were negative. After a couple of days learning the commands and settings as well as app features I couldnt be happier. A bargain.

I needed a control surface for a Soundcraft Ui16 mixer. The Ui16 is about 4 feet away from the Galaxy tab and I am using the built in Wifi from the Ui16. The tablet is intentionally not connected to internet, just the Ui16 which is itself not connected to internet. The Galaxy Tab A7 works very nicely for this dedicated single purpose function. Even though I am usually an Apple device purchaser, I think the Galaxy Tab A7 was a better choice here than an iPad or more powerful Android tablet.

I love my new tablet the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 10.4 It makes satisfied with all my needs for gaming, browsing the internet, and reading all my prefared books and articles. The build quality and the pricevalue for it is very good. Even the battery is great and lasts longer according to my changing type of use. When I think to buy electronics or related devices I always hit to my 1 and preferred store The BestBuy. Thank you guys for being always helpful, professional, and always friendly. I do recommend this product for normal everyday use.

Pros I got this for my son for homeschooling and to play a few games. It has a beautiful screen and its bright. I had a Lenovo tablet and that was not very responsive and some apps were not compatible. It was good to find that the tab was more after and good for a young boy to use. Its not the best but I guess good value for money.Cons After 2 months though the battery drains very quickly, we havent even got that many apps installed and it is used mainly used for basic tasks, so that is very disappointing.

I LOVE my NEW SAMSUNG TAB Its not only a Larger Screen but its gosh, so much thinner. Lighter weight makes it so much more mobil in my hands, making it less time in the holder and less time bending down causing eventual strain on my back and neck and THATS GREAT. ITS Newer Technology and the Storage in larger than my previous Galaxy 8. I Love Samsungs Tablets, for me They are Very Dependable and They last a long time having had my previous Galaxy for almost3 years. Finally , The Price is INCREDIBLE. ABSOLUTELY A GREAT PRODUCT , ILL purchase another SAMSUNG TAB in about 34 years from now. I Love My Android and SAMSUNG is the Product to have. PS, The camera makes the Prettiest, Clearest Pics Ever.

Weve been a household of all Apple products in the past, and now are a household of almost entirely Galaxy products. I really wanted to buy a new iPad for Christmas but couldnt justify spending almost 400 for a tablet that I just wanted to use for streaming video, surfing the net, and doing video calls. I found this amazing deal from Sams on the Galaxy Tab A7 and I have never been happier I think it is just as good as my old iPad, at least for the uses I needed, and was half the cost. The high def screen is vibrant and extremely clear. It is a little taller and not as wide as the iPad 10.2. It is fast, has no issues with lag, and has lots of space for apps and data. The only downside Ive found is that the selection of cases is less varied than for the iPad. I am very thrilled with my purchase, and the extra memory card was included for the same price Samsung was selling the Tab for alone on their website.

I love this tablet. I got the Gold Samsung Tab A7 with 64gb. The Gold is more like a very light gold, looks a little more like silver. But thats ok. Its going in a case anyway. I like that the tablet is lightweight and thin. The graphics are amazing. I watched some shows and movies and the graphics are so crisp and clear. The speakerssound output truly wowed me. Its louder than I expected and sounds great. The camera quality is also great. It takes nice and clear photos and videos. The tablet works fast and there is no delay in response time. I like that I can extend the storage with a external SD card. The battery life is amazing. I can get a good 8 hours before having to recharge. When I do recharge it, it recharges quickly. I highly recommend this tablet.

Not bad for a 200 10 inch tablet vs. the competition. Had to buy a case for it. Used the SmartSwitch app for Samsung and transferred my apps onto the tablet from my phone. Got it working less than 20 minutes. Over all, a nice tablet. Decent image quality, memory, and features. Would have been a higher rating except for one flaw. Screen randomly blacks out. Its not a timeout issue. Screen just blacks out and reappears when you tilt to a different angle. I would return but, as with your car, when you bring it to the shop it wont happen and the tech will say theres nothing wrong. So, to avoid that aggravation Ill live with the occasional annoyance.

This tablet is perfect for basic use to navigate your favorite apps on a lightweight tablet with decent video playback performance and clarity. The speakers can play a pretty decent volume and in most cases could be to loud if you use max volume levels, but the speakers dont get distorted when you do max it out to rock out to some tunes while you work. You get an audio jack which for me is very important. The USB connection is the USB C and which is also nice since all my latest Samsung products use this same cable type. The tablet was designed to hold in landscape mode based off the selfiecamera placement and buttons. While in this mode the power and volume buttons are on the top and your headphone jack would be at your right same side with power plug so that if you do move to portrait mode it will be at the bottom no problem. Side bezel is large enough to hold to avoid accidental touches but it does feel a little to wide making the screen look a little smaller, but for my larger hands I like it.The negatives tie along with the fact that this is an entry level tablet and because of that its hard to mark the rating lower than 1 star off.Wifi caps at 433 mbps, Fast charging caps at 1500 mA, Internal RAM at 3GB is not enough when straight out of the box Android is using 1.6GB. Finally only an 8mp camera is not enough to do any real good quality photo takingediting.Video streaming with products like youtube TV show its lack of processing power, but Netflix and hulu run just fine and look clear with very little hesitation. Make sure to close out unused apps, because you will find the tablet start to really show down after launching to many apps in the background. I like to pop in and out of apps to avoid loading delay, but not an option here.Fit and finish is a nice lightweight tablet and with the Samsung production gives me confidence it will last.A few things turned me off as a performance user for this tablet. Charging, battery size and RAM.Charging is rated for 15 watt, but even though I tested it with my super fast charger you cant get beyond 1.5 mA charging rate. With my latest phones those speeds dont seem like fast charging for me. I drained it to 5 and it took HOURS to charge back up to 100. Not happy with those times on stock charger supplied with. From just initially setup of adding my gmail accounts essentially just email no apps. was using up 1.6 GB of my 3 GB of RAM. Android alone was using up almost half of the stock RAM.

Recently bought this Samsung Galaxy tablet. It arrived within 48 hours and I am delighted with it. It was extremely easy to set up and was using it within 15 minutes. The screen is very clear and just the perfect size. The tablet connected to the wifi very easily and downloading apps has been very quick. The tablet is light and easy to hold in one hand, even with the addition of a case.The quality of the photos is good. The tablet starts up very quickly and all the apps open quickly and run smoothly. All in all a great purchase and would recommend this particular brand and model
