there are lots of things i love about this tablet its fast, it has great battery life, i love the new 120hz refresh rate, the s pen is even better than the tab s6. i also like surprisingly the fingerprint sensor in the power button it works great. i bought this model because i thought the smaller size would be more comfortable to use than the s7. however… the only thing i dont like about this tablet is and this is a big one the lcd screen. the tab s6 had an amoled display, so the lcd on this model is a downgrade. i use my tablet in the dark a lot, so i notice it much more than i thought i would… i may exchange this one for the larger model because of this.

so the tablet works beautifully. i have been a samsung customer since i got my first samsung note 3. have used samsung phones and tablets only, and have never had any issues before.but sadly, this time, i bought this tab s7 in october 2020, and by november 2020, the spen stopped working. the nib is removable and can be changed, but i dont have any replacement nibs.

Firstly easy to setup, with a nice crisp screen, the S pen worked brilliantly, with the touch screen, I was able to pair my nikon camera to the pad for photo down loads within a few minutes, youtube is fab, with great sound using my bluetooth headphones , in all a brilliant tablet.

love our new tab s7. black color is beautiful. 11inch screen is perfect size. glad we got its7 wouldve been too big. stunning color and resolution, and super responsive when playing games, web browsing, and getting work tasks done. the performance is a godsend and now could not live without it. spen is so responsive too, makes taking notes during zoom meetings and marking up documents so easy. and my favorite aspect is the fantastic dolby soundnever thought this kind of sound could come out of a device this small battery life is on par with other devices ive used. dont use tablets for taking photos much, so cant really attest to the camera. if you want a super nice, compact tablet with laptop type power, the s7 will do the trick. fantastic display, sound, and responsiveness.

the physical tablet is great. love the size, the lcd display is beautiful, the location of the fingerprint sensor, the sound quality. it all goes out the window if the tablet is unusable, though. about 1 month in, i began experiencing app freezes and would need to restart. not a huge deal but annoying. today the tablet froze while in an app the usual restart seemed to work but then about 50 of my apps would open for a second and then close. clearing app cache didnt work, wiping the system cache didnt work. ive now done a full reset and still experienced some issues. this shouldnt be happening with a brand new expensive tablet.

I like the tablet, cant say I notice a lot if improvement over my old S2 tablet though. I upgraded because I wanted the pen and keyboard features. However the keyboard cover is still not available and Samsung have given no release date for it despite it appearing in all its marketing for the Tab S7. As I am waiting for this cover, I have the issue that the pen doesnt safely store on the S7 without a cover.Customer service have been very unhelpful.I traded in my S2 for 50 and have subsequently been told to pay Samsung back 25 as there is a scratch on the screen. This is laughable as I highly doubt Samsung are going to resell the old S2 but yet another example of awful service. Think maybe it is time to give up on being a loyal Samsung customer.

Ive brought this tablet mainly for the drawing capability, with an included Spen this is a great deal. Everything runs very smoothly, the only small issue I have came across is that the Spen on some areas doesnt respond well, after googling I found this was due to the magnets attached to the tablet cover I brought separately and from a thirdparty brand. It would be nice to have this issue fixed. Overall a great tablet with a beautiful display

Have had for a week now. As my title says, its a GREAT tablet, BUT a little on the heavy side. I have it living in a Easy Acc case currently waiting on validation and receipt of the offer of a free book cover as offered in Samsung promotion on their website and that makes an already heavy device a good bit heavier, so be careful what case you buy if you dont get the free book cover.Performance wise, I couldnt be happier. It EASILY stacks up well to my Note 9 Ive had for 18 months now. Watching 5v shows from well known sites are a real pleasure. Not much of an ardent gamer, so dont know how it would cope there.All in all, Im pleased with my purchase and would recommend to you just watch what case you buy

DPD are very careless I was ouside my door expecting it to be handed to me or placed near me due to covid but the driver threw the package right on the concrete floor and when i approached him saying did you just through The tablet he said yes smirked and drove off . i have took this futher with DPD and samsung Luckily the tablet wasnt damaged but its not the point. for delivery i would give less then 0 star rating but besides that the tablet is amazing.It so thin its uncanny and the weight is so perfect. I was worried about the software becasue its samsung. id say dont listen to those reviews the Tablet is so buttery smooth with its 120 Hz panel and i love how you can run 120 hz and 1440p at the same time. ITs so cool that i can watch youtube in 1440p in HDR as well. Samsung dex runs so well and i bought a USB type c hub so i can plug in my keyboard, mouse and Tv so it runs exactly like a laptop. The gaming on is amazing aswell the fact that a tablet runs fortnite the only game i tried better then my Xbox is unreal easily running at high graphics quality at 90 fps. THe speaker are easily the best speaker i have heared on any phone tablet or laptop. perfect bass clarity and surround sound. ONe thing to note is on tab s7 you cant change the screen colour temperature as i usually have it cool. apparenty the reason why is becasue it is an LCD note an OLED but you can do it on the tab s7 would highly recommend this tablet had so much fun using it . And the smoothness of the snapdragon 865 pus chip and the 120hz makes me want to upgrade my A51 to a flagship phones as now the 60 Hz isnt cutting it lol

Well I was a bit worried to be honest as my last 2 tablet from samsung was amoled. But I thought Id gave them a chance. And the screen really surprised me to be honest, I find it better on my eyes and cant see much of a difference at all. The 120 refresh rate is very nice, the 6gb of ram is enough hard core gaming zero lagg as the process carries it. The build quality is superb looks and feels more premium than my s20 to be honest, I like that I can take calls and receive texts on this aswel, when connected to my phone. I thank samsung for the 3 years updates policy about time. All in all this is a fantastic table which has actually taken me by surprise. Looking toward to the next phone a tablet in a few years time. Will take pleasure to upgrade as you give higher trade in value. Thanks samsung

this was bought for me as a gift. i got the mystic bronzerose goldpink tablet. it is worth the money. it is super fast and sleek. i like the idea of an s pen attached and charges, thats pretty cool and nifty. i love the color, the performance is wonderful. so far no complaints, but i do suggest an improvement. there should however have like a raised slot to guarantee that the pen stays put and does not come off with a brush off. the dex mode is cool, great feature. i hsve yet to take pictures or make phone calls and send text messsges.

I brought this to replace a Tab S6 that I dropped. I didnt want a 12 screen so opted for the Standard S7. This was a mistake. I didnt think I would notice the lack of an OLED screen but it was immediately apparent with washed out blacks and pitiful brightness. Samsung have let themselves down here by removing features from the physically smaller model with no sensible reasoning given that the s6 had an OLED screen in a similar size. As for why they couldnt be bothered to include 5g who knows.

coming from the tab s6, one thing i was certain of as soon as i powered it on was that i would have to return it because of the terribly pixelated and dull screen. if youre okay with one of the worst screens youve ever experienced in a tablet, then this is otherwise a great tablet. for me, the screen, besides the s pen and its features is the main draw to this tablet and it gets a zero star rating in that area, right out of the box.

i have the s7 plus and the size is very good, not too fast compared to tablets from other brands and the battery is horrible, after playing simple youtube videos it runs out by half in less than an hour, and in another hour browsing the web drops to 30 not keeping a device so expensive that it needs to be changed every two hours.

switched from an ipad, the galaxy tab s7 is a great tablet. although the price tag is steep, if you got the s6, id trade it in and get the s7. despite the lack of amoled, the display and 120hz refresh rate is great. the cpu is also a little more future proof. i went with the base 6gb 128 gb, the tab does not struggle to keep up with me at all. from light gaming to creating documents, watching youtube, online shopping and just browsing the web, this was a great investment. the navy color is amazing as well. camera is great, battery life is plenty and it charges quick with the 25w charger. all in all, if you got the money, i would gladly pay the price for what youre getting here. the tab s7 is an absolute productivity media consumption beast of a tablet. i highly recommend it

Im a practical user with very basic needs. Yet this device, Tab S7 surprises me in many ways. Its speed is superb. Its brightness and sharpness tells me that nothing is lacking and yet nothing is redundant. I got this when the Keyboard Cover is bundled as a gift I believe its price is included in what I paid though. I really love the super quiet keyboard, sometimes I think I am working on a computer instead of working on a tablet. I almost went for an iPad but Im glad that I did not. This device does everything I NEED I dont know how useful the S Pen is, my work doesnt require me to use it. I know the price of this device is much cheaper than its rival but I really wish it can be even much cheaper soon for other users, so more users will benefit from this quality product. Great device

The SPen crapped out within 3 days. Then the screen cracked stupidly easy by a juul falling over onto the screen… The tablet features are cool but the fact that the screen cracks so super easily is a manufacture flaw. I have a 10.1 tablet from 2014 that the screen was solid on.

My Samsung tab S died mysteriously but I needed a tablet quickly, so I opted for the S7. By the way, once you get the black screen of death, no one wants to fix it. This tablet is what I hoped tablet design would migrate towards, it is a very useful, functional, and portable work device that replaced my clipboard as well. The capbility of making field sketches is remarkable. I make schematics and notes easily and have a built in file system to retrieve them. Of course other features like camera, music payback, etc. work very well as expected. I setup my tablet quickly, all my old apps loaded up from the Samsung cloud, I thought I lost them when my old tablet died. My old tablet stuff does not work with this tablet, my USB cable adapter and drives are useless. I have transferred files via Bluetooth, but all most of my old files are not so easily moved. And of course, this tablet is 12 bigger, so I had to buy a new cover.

this tablet cut off while chrome casting movies for 3 hour and it was plugged up. the graphics are not on the same level as apple nor is the processor. it laggs and freezes in things where the ipad pro didnt. i am only writing this because the tablet shut off on me in the middle of a movie while plugged up.

The hardware from Samsung is excellent, especially I love the 120 Hz display and the fast processor that it comes with. The device feels fast and responsive and should be pretty usable for everyone. There are some glitches in the software side like when Im using google chrome sometimes the screen just stays even though i want to return to the home page. I like the spen but it feels cheap and the magnets around the device are not powerfull enough to hold it in perfect place. Please be aware of loosing the spen.

i love the s7. i have only two complaints after almost a month. i wish it came with a paper users manual. online may not always be the best option for accessing information, particularly for new users. if your issue is that cant connect to the internet your online manual is useless.my second issue is annoying and i can see it becoming more so over time. i purchased the magnetic keyboard cover and in terms of functionality its awesome. the problem is that i am left handed and like so many other things it can make handling the tablet using one hand awkward. sometimes when i hold the tablet the cover gets in the way and i really wish i could move it to the other side. i wish you offered the tablet in a left handed version

i had a tab s6 that i traded in for a great deal through samsung. i thought the s6 was pretty sweet but i must say that the s7 blows it out of the water. i love the direction samsung is going with the s tablets. i didnt get the s7 as it was a bit too big for me to carry around comfortably, whereas, the s7 is the perfect size. the video quality and sound alone is amazing. but add in the processing speed when i edit photos is the best. only thing im not too keen on is the new spen. the flat surface that attaches to the tablet feels a bit uncomfortable for me when i hold onto it. i prefer the round pen that the s6 had. otherwise, best tablet yet

The first thing I noticed out of the box was the outstanding quality of the screen, together with the S Pen and the 120hz refresh rate, it makes it a delightful experience to create notes and drawings as well as reading comics with all vibrant colors popping out of the screen.It has a big size but at the same time is not heavy and is easy to maneuver, it has a huge capacity as well as possibility to extend it with an external drive which for me is a huge plus given that with a higher quality of camera and media nowadays, it is fairly easy to reach the maximum capacity.It is the first Samsung tablet I have and it is exceeding all my expectations. I have it for a few days now still discovering all possibilities.Totally worth it. I Recommend.

Despite the tablet missing AMOLED display, I still find it great Performance is phenomenal for games I normally play and especially with 8GB of RAM, multitask is worry free You could argue that iPad have way more performance and better apps optimization, but for average consumers like me, all the apps work well. S Pen is also an improvement over last years Tab S6, especially for note taking. I now use this tablet for my day to day online lectures from university, no problem encountered so far Would recommend

I am very happily surprised what Samsung has over a period of time and deliver a tablet which can really compete in all areas, with solid performance, great built quality, great display, inclusion of spen and optimized OS with spen functionality. You can literally forget the touch and may opt only to use spen . This tablet make me very productive to take online calls, screen sharing, drawing. using dex mode and a great keyboard support.I really liked Dex mode, it enables you to use as laptop but some apps are not optimized for it which I hope will improve over a period of time. Keyboard cover is very costly so I didnt opt for it I insist Samsung can really provide os and other updates to S7 tablet for longer use and stability being top notch product of this category.

The drawing pen is good but like the apple mouse the way of loadingcharging it is weird.Just google it and you will see what i mean.

I was very confused between the iPad Pro and Samsung S7. After spending few weeks going through their reviews I went for the Samsung S7 tablet. i absolutely love my tablet. i purchased my tablet through att so it is actually a galaxy tab s7 5g 128gb model but this is the closest on samsungs website. i owned a galaxy note pro 12.2 and, until the tab s7, was my favorite device, of any os. i had a lenovo moto tab 4 and then a galaxy tab 55e,which i liked a lot. i decided to upgrade as the s pen and 5g connectivity of the galaxy tab s7 series was very attractive. i love my tab s7 5g while i have a note 9 512 as my phone, and have had note phones for many years, i use the spen on this tablet all the time. i use the spen with my phone and tablet at the same time. tablet has not glitched in a months with lots of use in a dusty environment. s pen attaches magnetically as well, super nice.

pros1. standby battery great.2. great screen size and brightness.3. speakers can be really loud.4. dex. just dex. it isnt a full laptop replacementexperience, but it is still great.cons1. using the battery can drain fast depending on what it is. maybe im just being picky though. it lasts me all day with battery to spare.2. it came with fast charge turned off and would take 13 hours to charge according to the tablet itself. make sure to turn on fast charge in the settings. that helps a lot.i got the keyboard cover from amazon. 200 is really high. even at the discount, it is still a high price, but worth it for school and the like. get a tablet sleeve though. the cover isnt a full case and offers poor protection for an expensive tablet.

Preordered, even without oled the 120hz screen is great, looking forward to app makers optimising tablet apps as a result of the tab s7 specs. Really low input delay with the Spen for drawing. Helpful customer service. Was hoping for more RAM as a desktop replacement but so far its enough for drawing on clip studio paint.

had 10 inch tablet before, went to 11 inch. found the larger screen nice, but a bit unwieldy. glad i didnt buy the 12 inch.for some reason they provide a fast charger even though the device supports super fast charging.i read some phones will no longer come with chargers or cords under the theory that you already have them. like most people i have hampers full of chargers and cords, but i really dont want to buy a device and find i have to purchase something extra just to make it work at its best. or to buy new headphones or adapters because a headphone jack is no longer standard.there is a substantial difference between fast charging and super fast.charging, include the right charger. yes i had one, now shared between my note 10 and my new tablet. thanks samsung.

this is my 3rd samsung tablet and a big upgrade from my s3. love the size and shape and how it feels to hold. super fast to startup and quick response. display is crystal clear and sharp sound quality is very good, though i use it more for email, web surfing and reading ebooks. would like to have an sd card slot though, but not a deal breaker for me. so glad i splurged on myself a little bit.

This was bought to replace a two and a half year old well known Chinese rand tablet that is going to my mother. The Chinese one has the same screen resolution, 4 speaker stereo sound, has multitasking support and a wireless desktop mode and also came with a stylus.My observations Both have great sound for tablets. The Chinese one is tuned by HarmanKardon. S7 by AKG which was owned by HarmanKardon. HarmanKardon is owned by Samsung. Pro Both have fantastic screens with the resolution. The S7 with its 120hz refresh rate wins out. Pro Much faster using USB to load media content on the S7. This means I will more likely cycle content on it. Much more storage and it is fast. The Chinese ones storage was only 64GB. It also had MicroSD, but performance on external storage is not good. Pro S7 has high def connection via HDMI which is nice but I will never use it Pro S7 has more and faster memory and much better performing CPU. It is snappy. Pro More sensors. Maybe worthwhile. Not used yet though Pro Support for newer BT and Wifi standards. I seldom bluetooth connect anything with a tablet. Wifi 6 is unlikely to be used. Pro Camera is much better. Not sure how often Id be taking photos or videos with a tablet when I have a phone though. Pro stylus support on this is great. Con Battery consumption on the S7 is woeful. The CPU is meant to be more power efficient and has a larger battery. Perhaps I turn off 120hz display, maybe look for other background stuff that is Samsung specific, This is the killer for me. The fast charge on this is faster than the Chinese one that also has fast charge, but Ive never had to charge the the Chinese one in the middle of the day. After a full charge, 90 minutes of browsing and battery is down to under 70. I hope I can optimise battery usage over time.Summary Great performance, great features, looks fantastic, but, I want a truly mobile device and do not want to carry the charger everywhere. This is a fail for me.

Ive possessed this device for some time now and I offer the following advice1. If wish to use the Galaxy S7 as a small laptop, buy a small laptop rather than the S7. Preferably a true laptop having an SSD or hard drive which ill accomodate the use of meaningful software with the connections for peripheral equipment when needed.2. If you wish to use the S7 as a calling device, by a cellphone.I base these recommendations on my experience with the device. Its a toy and a frustrating one at that regarding the setup of functions. Useful functions are few. The Manual is sorely lacking in definitive explanations. Software updates are frequent and annoying. The Bixby Personal Assistant should be standing in the unemployment line. I will not go into the issues around using the Spen, but they are many and more negative than positive. But enough of criticism. On the bright side I own a big stack of electronic PostIt paper and in a pinch I can use the device as a paper weight. Oh yes, I forgot to mention the device is quite capable of performing as an Ereader with the right software installedfor much less cost a Kindle would do as much.Look elsewhere for the hardware of your dreams.

samsung has knocked it out of the ball park with the tab s7 screen and hardware. premium feel, great looking device, well designed. unfortunately, android suffers from a lack of proper app support from most developers. apps that have dedicated, beautiful apps custom designed for apples ipad have apps in the android store that cant even rotate to landscape.this needs to change, and is unfortunately the biggest barrier to an otherwise 5star experience. samsung took the approach if we build it, they will come… but so far not everyone has gotten here.

i got the tab s7 instead of the tab s7 and its an amazing tablet with a beautiful display. i was skeptical of the screen because the s7 comes with an oled panel however, the screen doesnt disappoint me at all. all other specs are amazing including the battery life. and if you are a student, you get the s pen included with the tablet.

Fast, intuitive, easy to use.Far easier to navigate and use than an iPad.Spen is very useful for taking notes and remote control of some functions. The only downside is that you really need a cover with a space to secure the Spen as it is only held on magnetically. The Samsung keyboard cover does this well.With external microSD there is more than enough storage.Excellent battery life as well, only very intensive use will require a daily charge. Usually every couple of days with moderate use.

i purchased my galaxy tab s7 11 inches on january 26. this is my 1st tablet ever. i always had an ipad, but i must say i love this tablet. i love the fact that i can connect my cell phone to my tablet and transfer over my data. samsung you must put the fingerprint sensor on the side of the phone just like it is on the tablet. it works like lightning speed i love the crisp clear screen, which has the prettiest colors. the screen is smooth to the touch. the speed of google chrome is wonderful as each window opens fast to the touch of my fingers. it is just amazing i am also happy that the tablet came with the s pen, this is awesome. i am truly happy with my purchase and will definitely purchase another tablet again.

i chose the 11 model for several reasons. the s7 is much easier to hold then the s7, since i dont really use it for drawing, the extra 200 price increase for the s7 just wasnt warranted trying to hold the s7 in a rugged case gets heavy very quickly. i love the upgraded s pen, it works so well, and feels like an extension of your hand. the gestures take a little bit of time to get used too, but with some practice youll love the benefits. i chose the 128gb model, i bought a 256gb sd card ill probably never use all of it, but its there in case i want it. i bought the 2 year warranty,when you dropping 600 plus dollars, spending 89 for cracked screens, water damage, internal failure, and everything in between.bottom line, which ever s7 tab you choose, youll love

The LCD screen has great colors and using the S Pen is excellent for drawing and writing. Its a very capable tablet and after seeing the S7 I switched to that to have more screen for multitasking with multiple apps. The S7 could be more useful with more ports, like a headphone jack and another USB or HDMI port so you can use it with Ethernet for more stable internet connections and with a headset for video conferencing.

Had the Samsung galaxy tab A for sometime now and its worked really well for me but it had only 32gb of storage and I wanted something with not only more storage but a bigger screen. I tried the galaxy 7plus but that was actually too big to hold in my hand. This is very comfortable and slightly bigger than my tab A. It seems to be much faster along with 128gb of storage. It was the perfect solution to what I wanted. Snappy, colorful and the pen is included. I recommend this to anyone.

i was using a samsung galaxy tab a with a pen which handled all of my notetaking needs as well as access to some of my favorite services. needless to say, the galaxy tab s7 was a monumental leap forward. the screen resolution and responsiveness of the s7 keeps it in my hands or nearby all day and every day. i try to live a paperless life and the tab s7 makes this possible. i use my tablet for work and personal activities so my tablets applications are separated to support both activities. my dual needs pose no problems for the tab s7. as much as i enjoy using my laptop, i can probably leave it at home for personal travel.
