Excellent lavalier microphone for video work. 32 bit float makes sure that the recording does not clip. Great range from transmitter to receiver. I like the fact I can charge all the units at once in the case. Only slight draw back is all adjustments have to be done via a pc. These look and feel a quality product. One person found this helpful

I chose this rather than the DJI because it comes with 2 very good lavalier mics. I can’t fault these radios mics. Nice software to make setting up easy. The 32 bit float recording is simple to download and sync in post if it is needed. Just a quick note, if you experience a bit of background white noise from the receiver, it’s the camera pre-amp, not the mic. RTFM. If you are using it with a Panasonic HC-X2000, then remove the camera top handle. Works well with a G80 also. If you connect the charge case via USB, then use the short high-speed cable provided. Battery life, sound quality, ease of use, all good. 5 people found this helpful

The RØDE Wireless GO PRO has completely transformed my filmmaking and content creation journey. This compact wireless microphone system isn’t just a piece of tech; it’s a reliable partner that ensures every piece of dialogue and every subtle sound is captured with impeccable clarity. With features like timecode functionality and 32-bit float on-board recording, it’s like having a professional audio studio right in your pocket. The two high-quality lavalier microphones have been a revelation, capturing every nuance of sound in a way I never thought possible with such a portable setup. And the smart charge case? It’s been a lifesaver, keeping my gear powered up and ready at a moment’s notice. For anyone stepping into the world of filmmaking or content creation, the RØDE Wireless GO PRO isn’t just an investment in your gear; it’s an investment in your art. It’s given me the freedom to focus on my creativity without worrying about audio quality, and that’s been truly game-changing. 4 people found this helpful

November 2024 Colour Name: Black Style Name: Wireless PRO Pattern Name: Single These work really well. The receiver can be set to power off when the camera is powered off, saving battery life. The back up 32bit float is a great feature. Recording locally can be triggered from the receiver. Really pleased with it.

Poor quality product with lots of Hype. Mine had bad TX1 with intermittent recording and clipping. TX1 just wasn’t picking up the same audio as TX2 when positioned next to each other. Intermittent fault where the gain assist decides to wait for a high input before opening the pre. Gain assist is more like a noise gate than autogain. The general build quality is poor, from the zip bag it comes in to the plastics and feel of the product. Not impressed at all. Please see the audio clip of the mic set on auto, gain assist on and default settings out of the box. Constantly clipping and missing blocks of recording as if you had a noise gate set to 15dbfs. Rode have good marketing but I’n no longer impressed with their product quality. CHANGED THE RATING ON THIS REVEIW. WE RETUNRED THIS AND ORDERED ANOTHER AND IT IS FINE NOW. MUST HAVE HAD A FAILTY UNIT. One person found this helpful

Great performance and great value for money. Audio quality is excellent (although all digital wireless mics have limitations compare to analogue mics if they are not in line-of-sight) and the 32-but recording option fantastic. Only thing that stops it really being ‘pro’ gear is the fact that you can’t change or replace the batteries. Although they last for several hours on one charge (and the charging case is great), you can’t guarantee on a long day’s shoot you will still have power. So what do you do? Have a backup kit? My other gripe is with the enclosed lavalier mics. Although, in audio terms, they are good quality they are rather difficult to hide – they seem to be designed for doc use when you don’t mind the mics being seen. What’s worse is the clips are non-standard – they are liable to break or get lost and Rode do not make easy to buy replacements. Rode make great mics but the worse mic clips around. Despite that, it still deserves 5 stars. One person found this helpful
