This phone ticks all the boxes for me and it’s just great value! I really like that for me, the battery lasts 4 days on a single charge. This for my use is the stand out feature as I don’t really need a phone with all the bells and whistles you’d get with a flagship. The phone itself looks great, I love the design, feels refreshing! If I’m going to pick on anything, it would be the camera which is just okish, not great, but it’s functional. Also the performance isn’t fantastic, but it does everything I need it to do, so I’m over all very happy. I’m very happy with this phone as it does everything I personally need from a phone at a very reasonable price. One person found this helpful

This review is for the 8+256GB version of the Xiaomi Redmi 14C. First impression was that it was quite light despite its large size. The display is 6.88″, larger than your average phone, which has a 120Hz refresh rate, making it ideal for those wanting to watch videos. However, downside is that the max resolution is 1640 x 720 – so not even full HD (1920 x 1080, so videos might not be at their best. Design is quite sleek – as mentioned, it’s quite light and quite sleek. For those opting not to use a case, I did find the glossy back to be a fingerprint magnet. Phone performance is generally good – it is powered by a MediaTek Helio G81-Ultra, which is a mid-range processor. Apps open fairly quickly and the phone can handle some light gaming. For a 50MP camera, this takes some good shots and can be enhanced with the Camera AI. It’s not bad in darker environments, but leaves a lot to be desired. It has a 5,160mAh battery, which depending on use, can usually last me a full day of regular usage or 2 days on light usage. It supports 18W fast charging, but there is no in-box charger provided. Currently costs £145 at the time of this review (£159.99 RRP). Overall, as a budget phone, I think it’s good value for what you get in return. 2 people found this helpful

December 2024 Colour: Blue Size Name: 8+256GB We have been using the Xiaomi brands of mobile phone for some years now. This 14C is another excellent model, with large storage, bright clear screen and features included NFC. Would highly recommend ! 2 people found this helpful

I just ordered this as my Redmi 9AT that I’ve had for a few years, isn’t compatible with some apps and devices, such as DJI Neo app for my new basic drone that I ordered earlier this year. This is obviously an updated version of the Redmi series, so it’s pretty much the same layout as my old one, but with far more RAM and storage AND it absolutely works with my DJI Neo app, as well as some Lavalier Wireless mics I recently purchased too. Delivery was quick and comes with a charging lead (I already had a plug anyway). I can’t believe someone gave it one star on here because of that, even though it clearly states that it doesn’t come with one?! I guess you can’t please everybody!
