I have a Razer keyboard and mouse so it connected to the Razer software without any problems.They sound fantastic HUGE improvement from my old headset. Game sounds are much more clear as is the voice chatting. I highly recommend this headset.

The only reason its not 5 stars is because they dont have a wireless version for this line. Aside from that the surround sound it pretty good, they are very comfortable for prolonged use. The mic is really decent with a bunch of nice features like noise canceling. As for music they are amazing this is where they really shine for me, several EQs with the ability to customize to your liking and the bass is sweet, clean but deep makes my eardrums rattle which is just was I was looking for. A great set of cans for a reasonable price. If only they had a wireless version and no I dont like the naris

It wasnt tight enough around my ears to cancel outside noise completely but I have a small head. Audio quality is amazing and mic is a solid 910, though wish it had 7.1 surround sound. It has stunning customizable rgb lights too.

I got this on sale for a great deal of 70. The headset is lightweight and sturdy with the RGP lightning makes it so cool looking. The sounds are amazing with THX spatial sound. I am not a fan of the Razer app as it is not very user friendly for someone who is not an audiophile expert. The settings and adjustments are not clear but I did get the settings to work in surround sound automatically when I log in to my games. Overall, it is a great buy and for under a hundred dollars it is worth purchasing.

I picked up these headphones bc I couldnt quite get my Logitech G Pros working how I liked. I eventually got them dialed in, but not before I ordered these.I have absolutely no complaints about my purchase. The headset took about 5 minutes to set up. The lighting effects were easy to change, as was sound enhancement options. The THX spatial audio is really cool, and the headphones sound great with Dolby Atmos or DTS as well.Im really happy with the quality of the microphone. I was skeptical about a retractable mic with a push button mute but Im very surprised and happy with the build and sound quality.

Pros It lights up using the Razor software and the THX function works really well in games. Its quite comfortable when wearing for long periods but may be a bit heavy for some people.Cons The cable could be with being a touch longer but other than that its pretty good.

Great pair of headphones if you dont mind paying 50.00 extra for the LEDs. Audio is all around great with deep bass and excellent sound quality. If you dont really need the LED lights I recommend the Razer Kraken Pro V2s there basically the same except for they dont have the LEDs in them like the Razer Kraken Ultimates do and cost roughly 80.00 not including tax.

Purchased this headset to replace a 4 year old Razer headset that looks like its been through the war but still functioned perfectly. The old headset is used by my son, for at least 10 hours daily between school work and online gaming, so we needed something just as durable again. Ive had a number of headsets, and most require some sort of control software. But the Razer products all seem to require Razer Synapse. Good luck getting your IT staff to white list it.Good luck plugging this into a different machine and expecting good sound quality on short notice.The device itself is totally fine, however without any onboard firmware or ability to quickly integrate, like some Jabra sets Ive used, this thing is relegated to a backup only role.

Before this headset I had a lot of issues with getting speakersmics setup properly with discord, games and streaming. This one was really simple and an immediate improvement to sound quality.Pros Good sound and Mic quality Mic can be retracted when not needed, also easy to bend for optimal placement. These things fit comfortably. The sound is very good. Im not an audiophile but, I am still very pleased. They make a huge difference in First Person Shooter type video games because of the stereo direction of approaching enemies. The microphone is clear and Im told my voice is easy to understand. Im not a fan of how the microphone feels small and unsubstantial but, it works well and slides into the earcup to be out of the way when not in use.

The headset wears comfortably and I love the fact that I can click a button to mute my mic and the tip of the mic will turn red. It reminds me Im muted and lets other people in the room know the mic is muted. Such a handy feature I also appreciate the retracting mic and the noise cancellation, would definitely recommend

Got this to replace a set of astro a40s from 2013 that finally died on my. The audio is absolutely awful. It sounds like Im in the middle of a battlefield with a bucket over my head. Voices sound distant even when coming from the player character. Its like someone is talking over my shoulder. I messed with eq and turning enhancementssurround on and off. Nothing seems to help. For what these cost I was expecting more. I will say that sound was directional and it picked up footsteps and other details better than my old set, but overall its not for me will be returning.

I bought this headset about 7 months ago and during a week the cord gets bent later on. A month or so my headset randomly started disconnecting so I had to unplug and replug it back in, sometimes it even said usb not detected. Ive been dealing with this for a while until they finally stopped working. This headset cord is cheap and this headset should not cost this much because it poorly made.

This is the worst headset that I have ever owned. I have 2 Dell Laptops and the Microphone will not work on either of them. The Sound comes through great but you have to use the built in mic to actually talk on Discord, Skype, Teams, and etc. Dont bother buying it.

Pros Much better sound quality than the Razer Kraken Tournament and sturdier than the Razer Kraken X, which is prone to breaking.The long USB lead is very useful and the plug and play nature of the headphones is brilliant.Cons Comparable to the old Razer Kraken V2, but much more expensive and with a headband that feels less sturdy.All in all its a decent set of mid range headphones, but fails to impress when compared to previous Razer generations and pulls ahead of its siblings, by virtue of the fact it is the product that most emulates the V2 edition.

I bought this for use with my PC and with my PlayStation 4, and it does its job for both systems very well. Admittedly though, this is a PC headset and as such you should know that before buying.The sound design for pc use is phenomenal.Solid aluminum design, and the gel on the ear pads really helps to make the headphones feel cool even after hours of use and the headset is very comfortable.If buying for console use, the 2 meter usb cable will probably need a usb 3.0 female to male extension cord.

Ive had a terrible experience with these headphones from the broken razer synapse causing issues with it to the hissing sound drivers that have been a problem with razer headsets for numerous years and the general build quality of the product through the three times Ive returned the product at the request of the tech support Ive been chatting with for a while to fix such issues. Also not to mention none of the aforementioned features actually being noticeably present in the product.For starters, the razer synapse is massive bloatware that really doesnt do that much for your headset. With my razer Kraken ultimate headset, it had difficulty recognizing it and would not allow me to make changes to the headset through the three times i returned it. I wanted to try and make some changes to it so i could fix the next glaring issue.The headphones had an unbearable hissing sound which i couldnt fix talking to the tech support. I tried every troubleshooting step but it never ended up being fixed. Through the relentless researching, Ive done to try and figure out the problem with the headset Ive come to realize quality control in razer products have been a huge issue for numerous years with this certain issue being there for a while. Ive come to the conclusion that its because of the lighting on the headset that there was the hissing sound.For the part of the headset that most people only care about razer really didnt pack any features in this to be worth the ultrahigh 180 cads. The sound quality is well no different from my 20 cad headset I bought I a few years ago. The headphones have nice and plush ear pads which I would consider a plus with cooling foam that works for a minute. the Two speakers on the headset have no adjustability. I didnt really see much aluminum and steel on the headset with the casing for the drivers being all plastic. The mic quality sounds like Im talking through a tube. This might be only specific for me but I found the headband on the top to be kinda small but I guess the reason why is cause razer headbands had a habit of them breaking as Ive seen. Most of all is the THX thing it just straight up doesnt work it makes the sound horrible like there is some kind of echo to the audio making it impossible to listen. Lastly on there was a creaky sound whenever I tried to stretch the headset a tidbit making me feel as if it may not last that long.In conclusion do not fall for the marketing surround sound is a gimmick and thx audio does not make the audio quality better. Whilst the lighting is cool it doesnt make this headset worth the massive pricing on it there are 90 dollar headsets that are better then these.

I have always been a fan of razer hardware and this set of headphones are really great in terms of comfortably and sound quality. The rgb lighting is also another added bonus, not too bright but not too dim and still customizable with their razer synapse program. Just worth noting that this is NOT a wireless headset. That doesnt matter to much to me but just FYI. The collapsible mic is very nice as well as the ring that turns on when you have it muted. Overall a great product

Ive always used Razer headphones, but these are the best ones so far in my opinion. They sound absolutely amazing in games with the THX Spatial surround. I also like the cooling gel ear cups, which seem to definitely help when Im wearing these for long periods of time, whether gaming, or editing photos and listening to music.Worth the price for sure

I got this on sale for 70 it was worth it at that price. The good extremely comfortable, lots of options, overall solid build quality, and integrates well with the Razer ecosystem of products. The bad not fantastic bass response, Chroma lighting options are limited this could someday be fixed with a firmware update though, and the cord is on the short side.There are perhaps better options at full retail price, but Im happy with it for what I paid.

I bought these on Black Friday for about 74 after tax and such, which was almost half of the MSRP. Even at that price I feel like Im still getting ripped off on the sound quality. It works well for games and movies but for music the sound comes out muffled with a lot of mids to highs falling flat and sounding dull.The mic is pretty good, no complaints there. Razer Synapse actually becomes useful and necessary when you have this headset, as all the configurations and equalizer can be found in Synapse, so thats pretty neat.The RGB is a nice touch. Its bright and fairly customizable.The comfort on these things are actually great. They even fit nicely for people who wear glasses too, so thats another plus.Do keep in mind that this headset does NOT use a 3.5mm audio jack, but rather a USBA jack. Meaning you wont be able to use it it for anything besides a PC, havent tested on any consoles.All in all this headset would probably be really popular if it wasnt so overpriced. If you can manage to find them for a good deal, then they might be worth spending on. Otherwise, keep looking

No matter how hard I tried this headset MADE me download software and create an account online before being able to access all the capabilities, with this software it changed my sensitivity to my corsair mouse and gave me no option to leave it alone or change it back, making gaming unplayable I had no idea where to fix it, and there was nothing to help me online. If youre looking to use this headset with other peripheralssoftwares involved…. youre warned, it is BAD.

I have been trying out different equipment for zoom meetings and finally some of the kids told me that I should get these headsets. They are great. You can adjust the volume very easily with an oldschool dial. I can finally hear and I can be heard without an echo.I am a court interpreter and it works great. Highly recommend

Great product for me. Some might not like it but I do. It looks awesome with my setup. It has a weird sound sometimes but you can fix it with enough tuning through the software. The surround could but better but you get used to it. Its more gaming surround then movie surround, which makes sense because razer is a gaming company. For the price I payed its an insanely good deal for me. I received the headphones early and they looked brand new. You could hardly tell it was opened at all.

This product could be a 5 star headset, however the software has countless errors and bugs that are apparently just direct conflicts with Windows 10.If you simply want to plug them in, and not check the EQ settings or take advantage of the THX surround sound, then these headphones will probably seem to work fine, however, if you are not attempting to take advantage of all its features, you may as well just buy a 30 headset.The software to put it bluntly is awful. When it works, which is rarely, the sound quality is very nice. The mic is also very responsive and clear, and the physical headphones themselves are well made.The issue is, you will have to constantly restart your PC or reinstall the software as it simply stops detecting your games or using your custom settings after a few minutes of use, or if youre lucky, a few hours.The THX Surround sound more often than not just stops working, and you are simply hearing the default stereo output Its a very noticeable difference and easily testable as you can minimize your program and switch between stereo and surround and hear that nothing is changing again. Your custom EQ profiles will just stop working, and there will no longer be a detectable sound change between any of the defaults. Also games will just launch without the saved sound profiles you choose for them as well and will require you to switch it on and off several times before it finally takes effect. The only easy fix is to reboot the computer and then the problems just start again a few minutes or hours later.If you run into these issues, youll discover dozens of dead ended threads about the exact problems Im describing going on over the last year with no resolution except some vague references to updates and similar issues across their older products. Many of the solutions include reinstalling windows. This is just ridiculous, reinstalling windows to get razers drivers to function is a desperate fix at best and doesnt even address the problem.I build computers as a hobby and am generally literate when it comes to basic software and hardware, this rig is new and has no issues whatsoever and I can confidently say there is no conflicting software or issues that should cause this. The only sound drivers previously on the PC were the base windows and Motherboard ones.Razers software has its own output and drivers that take over, which unfortunately, just dont do their job, and you will find yourself constantly minimizing games when you notice the sound profile has changed and seeing that your custom settings or the surround sound has simply switched off. This is beyond frustrating, and certainly not worth 130.Take my word for it, if you like to tweak hardware settings and customize the sound profile, just buy something else. This will be the first pair of headphones Ive ever returned in my entire life, and I genuinely wanted to like them and it actually made me sad that I have to even write this review, but seeing how this issue is pretty common despite the good reviews, I felt it necessary.If one day the issue is actually corrected, then yes, Id say these would be a great options, as after a little tweaking you can get pretty good quality out of them. Its just not worth the money and effort to have to constantly troubleshoot it before using them every time.

I brought this headset in January 2021 and they now dont work. The cable on them ends up twisting over time, no matter how careful you are with them, and eventually renders them useless as it is impossible to untangle the wire inside must get damaged.

The headphones are great. I had a wireless Corsair set that last me a few years till the faux leather is wearing off and the power connection to charge is getting wonky. These new headphones are wired and sound great and the mic provides a better, more realistic sound to others. My only issue so far is getting the mic turning on. The mic goes into mute when it is pushed back into the ear set, and when pulling it out I am having issues getting the mic to unmute itself.

I bought this because it had a 50 discount and I love razer products. But, I had bought the blackshark v2 wired before this one and the comfort levels wee like night and day. I gave it a week of multiple hours of gaming and at the end of each session, I felt like I had been wearing a pair of vice grips all day long. Putting them on the following day was just painful on my ears. They were down right sore. Also, the top of my head was sore at the point where the headset rested on it. The moisture level in my ears was insane. Not the best ear pieces. Like I said, I love razer but, in my opinion, the headset was a horrible experience for me. I am not saying they are a bad headset for others, just not for me.One last thing, I love the blackshark v2 wired so much, I bought the wireless one as my backup. They are that comfortable.

So these sound good and have good mic quality. All around good headset. They are very heavy in my opinion my neck starts to hurt after an hour or two of playing. Im not a fan of how the mute button is set up, and if I was going to pay to have the THX, Id be annoyed with where that button is because I hit it every single time when putting the headphones on or taking them off.

WOW These are excellent. They work right out of the box. Supports Eve Online with no issues. The headset is light enough to wear for hours. The ear cups actually allow your ears to be inside the foam cushions,I have big ears, well, not as big as LBJs ears were haha. The surround sound is awesome and even in stereo more awesome the microphone stows away into a channel on the left side and is totally adjustable an firm enough it will not droop on you . I have tried unplugging other pieces of electronics, tried plugging it into different ports and even tried using a USB extender and adapter. My drivers are up to date. Will be returning the headset.

Hes gone thru at least 68 different headsets and this one is by far the best one hes ever had. The quality is definitely worth the money. He also loves the light up feature.

Very comfortable and light. Volume adjuster on the left side is very useful and convenient. The mic being able to move in and out is a great touch and keeps it out of the way. The RGB on the sides is a nice touch and works great with razer synapse. The cable is well made and seems like it will last, also the surround sound capability is really well done. Got compliments on the mic from a few people I play the division 2 with. Sound is great. You can tell what direction sounds are coming from. Making it alot easier to find enemies when you play fps games. Lighting looks great, ear muffs are nice and cool. These do not noise cancel well. You will still hear your clicks on mechanical keyboards unless you turn the volume up a bit.. Thats my only con for this headset.

The Kraken Ultimate is a goof entrylevel gaming headset, especially if you can catch it on sale. The microphone is decent quality and retractable. The RGB is much more bustle than it looks in the product photos. If you have other Razer peripherals, this could be a good addition to your setup. However, I cant fully recommend these because of how annoying the cable can be. If you can, wait and try to find the wireless ones on sale.

Pros The grip of the headphones vs comfort sat on the ear for long periods of time is second to none. Being an MMO gamer I have headphones sat on my ears from 35 hours at a time so comfort is key for me, its only about 4 hours in do I feel my ears getting a little warm but only a couple of minutes off the ears and I can go for several more hours just because of home comfortable they are.Technical and Performance I think straight off the bat they are great in sound quality, crispy and the settings for full on surround sound based off of camera angle and movement in games is the creme of crispy. It took me less than 60 seconds to have the headphones up and running in the settings I wanted with the prefab functions you can choose to suit your needs.Cons The biggest point for me that I would like improving is the bass in the headphones. At the start I didnt find it having any Umph to what I was gaming on, after tweaking things on a mixer platform I could boost the base perfectly but knowing that people may not know on how to use mixers properly is a big drawback. Consider a bass booster built into the headphones just like the volume adjuster is.I think the only other point I would consider is the price, could be a little cheaper not much though I think would be appropriate for what you get. But still I think you are definitely getting what your putting your money in for.

I have an Arctis Pro GameDAC that sounded really good with excellent 3D positional sound, but the DAC was extremely glitchy its entire life and kept switching from Game to Chat every time I woke the PC from sleep or launched a game. I had to unplugreplug the DAC nearly every time to get it to run the GameDAC Game mode. Eventually the DAC crashed entirely and Game would no longer work at all, leaving me with only Chat and the chat mode sounded meek for in game audio.Steelseries agreed to RMA it even though it was out of warranty Good on you Steelseries since it was a known issue, but they would only RMA the DAC and not the entire headset DAC. Stock on the DAC only was constantly MIA thanks to covid, so I waited nigh on 11 weeks before the DAC alone was available. In the meantime, I first bought the Astro A40 MixAmp, which I owned less than 24 hours, then took that back and bought the Kraken Ultimate headset instead, so I would have quality gamechat audio with clan mates while I waited for the DAC. To be honest, I was intending to return the Kraken if the DAC showed up within the 14 day return period, or sell the Kraken when the DAC showed up if outside the 14 days. shame facedWell color me surprised because this headset truly kicks gluteus maximus, and I may just sell my 243 Arctis Pro GameDAC if the replacement DAC ever arrives, and keep the Kraken Ultimate instead. This is a really good headset and for 120 less than the Arctis Pro GameDAC, or the even more expensive 250 and abysmally bad Astro A40 MixAmp.With the THX Spatial audio on the Razer Kraken Ultimate 129 on BestBuy, you can tell exactly where an enemy is in 3D sound, vs approximately knowing the direction with the 2D plane surround of many competitors, which doesnt help locate opponents abovebelow you. I bought this headset onsale for around 90something , and Im really happy with my purchase. The bass is pretty insane, you can feel your skull shake with a loud enough sound. The surround sound feature was a bit awkward at first, but Ive gotten used to it, although it doesnt really sound like 8 speakers. It is extremely comfortable, but the sides can get pretty warm from the LEDs, overall, a really good headset Only drawback is the fact that its pc only and connects via USB.

These headsets are great. The mic is good and very comfy. When using the mic suppression, you absolutely have to have the mic opening in front of your mouth. If its slightly looking downward or upward, it can cause your voice breaking in and out. It sounds great even without suppression and dont hear much background noise if any.The only thing about the headset, you cant change which side the mic is on. I cant see out of my left eye, so I cant actually see if the mic is muted or not. That would be the only bad thing I have to say.No problems with comp program, mic, or headset In general.

As I said in reviewing the Tournament edition, this Kraken Ultimate and the Kraken Tournament edition are very similar. Sound quality is probably identical. The tournament edition has a somewhat longer connection cable with an extra controller box while this one uses a small wheelcontroller on the cable, conveniently around hand distance from your left ear. It controls volume and mic onoff. This one is priced a little lower than Tournament, because no extra controller box. If I had to pick just one I use both, at different machines Id just get this one.

This headset was good for a couple of days after I brought it. It then went into crazy mode. By that I mean that the sound stage would change. It would not matter if it is music, gaming or podcast that you listen to. The Razer software which helps with the sound stage is what is causing this. Without the software these headset sound dull. Any product that acts up after a few days is not on the recommended list.

Brought one the moment it hit the shelves. Sound quality is great and theyre comfortable but the construction is very poor. The glue on the ear pads gave up after less then 2 years and the tension on the plasticsteal bracket where the ear pads meet the head rest caused the brackets to snap to an repairable state at about 2 years. I would not recommend this headset for daily use.

So this is my first pair of gaming headphones Ive purchased solely for PC use during MOBA and first person shooter online and that uses a USB connection. As a result its difficult t for me to compare it to anything Ive used previously. I dig the RGB lighting effects and Razer is definitely making an effort to make its Synapse 3 new software more user friendly and less frustrating. The thick cushioned band sometimes weighs a bit heavy And presses on the skull a bit after a couple of hours of play, but that might be universal for all gaming headsets. So far Ive had No real complaints and I would recommend it and purchase again for myself if i had to.

When my current headset rig died there were 3 options on the shelf…my 17 year old suggested these. They were a bit pricey but I am glad she did. The frame is sturdy metal and you can feel the difference. I wear glasses and there is no interference. The sound seems to level itself to where I can hear what I need to party chat, explosions, etc. When I need to. Even a 360 degree sound is pretty precise. Worth every penny and then some. Compatible with my laptop and console so these are now my one and only go to for work and play.

Razer did a great job for the overall build quality of the Kraken Ultimate. Straight out of the box you can tell that this is a super premium feeling headset. The metal frame feels super sturdy but not heavy enough to constantly remind you that its on your head. The fake leather on the earcups and headband doesnt feel cheap and feels convincingly like real leather. Sound quality is nothing special unless youve never used a THX headset, but it took me a while to get used to, coming from a Kraken Tournament Edition. The mic isnt anything too stellar, the software helps make up for it through the customization but not as much as I hoped. I thought I would love the mic mute red led since I always forget that Im muted in tense situations but it really depends on where you position it or your head shape. I personally did not get this headset for the RGB but it looks really nice if you want it on. I also really expected this headset to have onboard memory for the price point but it doesnt and that really annoys me since Razer Synapse annoys everyone and I dont like having software run in the background. Overall I enjoy the headset but its definitely overpriced at msrp compared to other headsets on the market and would not recommend unless its on sale, but even then I believe better mics can be found for less.

I had hyper X headset before this headset, and I was a major hyper x fan boy but this headset is way better. My headset broke out of nowhere I was forced to get this headset and after literally 1 day I was already use to it and I was able to even hear better in game. I received this headset for Christmas and I was super excited, the first day was amazing, the sound quality was great and the microphone was crisp and clear After another day however, I began to realize how cheap the wire material was, it would tangle easily and become hard to un knot, eventually after another day it got into an unfixable knot and ruined the sound quality and microphone completely, Im forced to return it for a wireless headset now due to the cheap quality of the wire, not worth the money.I tried looking up ways to safely untangle the wire without damaging the wires inside more, but to no good term, the headset sound ended up staticky and clickey, even disconnecting from my PC entirely if I moved a little in my chair, if you want a good quality headset I recommend looking towards wireless one or rubber wires as they are easier to un tangle and more protective of the wires inside them.

One of the better PC only headsets, if i had money i would get Sennheiser but its so expensive for the good ones, this has great sound quality for everything i do, and i normally dont even max it out in some games volume wise its at 6075 in COD, its got insane sound dont underestimate, the only complaint is it sits a little odd on my head, but i dont notice it at all, and the ear cups are decent quality. so if you want a mid price headset for PC this is it

I use these for gaming, they have decent sound, good quality construction. A little uncomfortable for long sessions. Seems to need more padding at the top. Ear cups very comfortable. Performs great, good feature set.

Much more comfortable than the previous version of the Kraken, but it isnt as snug. Moving ones head causes it to shift around the ears. There is fabric padding touching the ears rather than fake leather like the previous version, so Im hoping it wont peel like other Razer headsets do.

I wanted to like these so much. Great sound and retractable mic. I just could not get them to work consistently. They are USBbased headphones. They must work with your OS and apps to work properly.I could get the to work reliably on Windows 10. For instance, I get them to work on Discord fantastically but when I went ingame, there would no game sounds.Or I could get the games sounds going but no Discord.My Windows 10 install is two weeks old and it was the only audio device in my system.

From the Razer Kraken Nari, Ive tried pretty much every headset from razer and this stands out as the best for me. The noise cancelation, I have people talking around me, my mic doesnt pick it up. This is worth the money

I have had the Razer Kraken Ultimate for a few weeks now. And I have already had many better experiences with this headset than others in the past. Its sound quality is outstanding and the money you have to pay for this is all worth it. Its microphone was instantly hooked up to my computer and I had to change the audio from my computer speakers to my Kraken Ultimate, so its a very simple set up. Not only is the mic easy to set up but it has a great noisecancellation setting and you can boost its gain in Razer Synapse. And what makes it even better is the fact that you can apply any effect of lighting you wish on the headset itself. I personally use wave and fire effects for my razer set up. Besides that, its overall a great headset and its all worth it

Headphones sound great and have very good clarity. THX Spacial was the reason I purchased but found it lacking when enabled. Quality degraded and I found it harder to pinpoint where sounds were coming from. Microphone sounds great and button integrated into mic for muting works well. The biggest issue I have is how complicated the Razer software is to maneuver. Once you finally figure it out and get your settings input, theres no need to touch it any longer.

Only had these for a week but this headset for week but Im already loving it. Very comfortable and lightweight. 3D audio is pretty neat. Set the headset to game mode and turned the bass down a bit in the Razer Synapse application and i can say the sound is better than my old TurtleBeaches

Really high quality headset, the materials feel a bit heavy although I personally prefer it. Comfortable to wear for those long gaming sessions, the audio is really good and you dont need to max out the volume to get a real use of these. I usually have my volume around 20100 to 36100 most days and I can perfectly hear footsteps in shooters like Warzone. The RGB is a really nice touch and the microphone is above average. I got this on sale for 105, well worth your money. Oh yeah and the cable is a decent length so VR play is possible.

I upgraded my Kraken 7.2 to Kraken Ultimate after my cat chewed on the wires. I immediately noticed an improvement in sound quality. I could hear a lot more details in my games. The customizable rgb is always a nice extra too. If youre debating between the ultimate and 7.2, Id recomend just splurge for the ultimate. You deserve it.

I loved my Razer Kraken headset, until it started having wiring issues over time and would disconnect and reconnect at the slightest movement. I was able to exchange them for another pair which worked wonderfully… until the same audio and wiring issues started happening again. It seems like the headset wires are wrapped up too tightly in the packaging which causes problems later down the line.

Razer does not seem to be on their game anymore. I have had many issues with their headsets recently. I previously bought a kraken headset, but the head band fell apart in less than a year. So I thought to try this model, Kraken Ultimate, to trade up. Big mistake On a new ASUS pc laptop, the Kraken Ultimate is a pain to use. It is boosting audio causing everyone to hear background sounds at very loud levels. I have to mute my microphone when I am not talking on Disord or Skype or my friends will complain how it hurts their ears. It also gets confused on inputoutput devices and is not a turnkey solution like other headsets are. Also the mic is supposed to mute when you touch it. The light goes off, but it does not mute. I tried Razer tech support for several hours twice since buying this recently, but it is still not working right. I would not recommend Razer headsets to anyone.

After downloading Razer Synapse 3.0 off of razers website, It will sync to your headset and allow for control of the colors, mic, and sound. At first it might sound weird. In fact it might sound a little too open… Once you use the synapse and edit around the frequencies, volume stabilization etc. you can really see the good of these headphone.If you want a headset that comes packed with everything instantly perfect THIS IS NOT the headset you want.

The headset regularly cut out, and once crashed windows when the crappy proprietary software tried to recognize the headset as connected. I expect a headset to last longer than 3 months.

The Razer Kraken Ultimate Wired OvertheEar Headset is a very comfortable headset with fair isolation and great sound. All of the bells and whistles noise cancellation, 3D spatial sound, etc. are included in this unit. The retractable microphone, with onmute switch and visible indicator, is also a very nice touch.My only quibble is that I tend to accidentally push the 3D onoff button whenever I put on or take off the headset.

At first I thought I could plug this headset onto my console controller and use it on there, but the wire is for a USB port not a headphone jack. Which was okay but wouldve been a nice touch. Now that I got over the bad part heres the good part. This Headset comes with a LED system that you can manually changed and add effects to it in the Razors app. Not only that but it practically has noise cancellation. Its easy to wear and enjoyable to use.

The Razer Nari Ultimate is an excellent piece of gaming hardware However, there are some things that you, the buyer, should be aware of1. In my honest opinion, you will need to tweak the equalizer sound settings to suite what you like best, because the default sound settings and preset equalizer sets dont do this gaming headset any justice again, this is just my opinion. I strongly suggest you search out best settings for the Razer Nari Ultimate online, even YouTube. I was ready to return this headset because I was not impressed with the sound I was getting. I decided to do some further research and discovered that the user really should tweak the equalizer sound settings using the custom EQ settings option. Doing this made a HUGE difference and totally made a complete opposite impression on me I decided to keep this headset2. The battery life is advertised as 20 hours with Haptics and RBG lighting off, and 8 hours with Haptics and RBG lighting on. While it is true that youll get at or very near to 20 hours without the extras, the advertised 8 hours with Haptics and RBG lighting on is true right to the minute. If you turn Haptics off and leave the RBG lighting on, youll get a bit longer than just 8 hours. However, if you turn on Haptics and leave RBG lighting off, youll get 8 hours solid. Weird, I know, but just realize that RBG lighting doesnt draw as near as much energy as the Haptics will.3. You can still use the headset while its being charged big plus for some gamers.Im very impressed with the Razer Nari Ultimate gaming headset.

I had a 6 year old original Kraken that I ran into the ground. This has been a great replacement and improvement.Noise Cancelling is immaculate. I cant hear the outside world with the volume at a decent level.Lights are cool, attracts my toddler to try and pay with them… Not razers fault.

Works perfectly with my Razer Blade 15. Plugged in and was right away detected by Razer software allowing me to change RGB. Sounds great to me and the folks I was playing with said my audio was really good.

Audio could be improved but does the job. Mic is retractable and convenient, ultimately docking one star for audio quality. any headset that uses audio jack adapter likely sounds better. Great Rgb though for completing a setup.

These thing crank especially with 7.1 surround sound. I just wish the wished with xbox as well ,. Not sure if they make a usp adapter but the signs great. And the RGB lighting is a nice touch

Sounds great but just wasnt the sound I was looking for. Great for games but for music, it was a little inaccurate. The mic was great and the retractability was a nice touch. Didnt like the way I can mute it though. Everyone can hear you fiddling with the mic while you press mute. an inline control wouldve been better or a separate button. Returned for the Blackshark V2 Pro instead.

This item was a gift to me and has been the best gifted pair of headphones ever I can adjust the volume with a simple wheel scroll. I have it adjusted at around 10 18 as it gets ear deafening passed that. The red light in the front acts as a manual mute switch where you can press the mics button to unmutemute yourself. I find it very useful while playing games, work meetings and in general knowing its muted. I have it synced to my keyboard and mouse so the lights illuminate at the same time with the same colors. Amazing overall quality and durability as ive sat on them once, while holding my baby lol.I hope youve found this review useful

The R.G.B lighting is actually amazing. Use Razer synapse 3 this headset actually sounds good unlike the thresher and nari. And when you use stereo mode on synapse and put the eq on music mode it sounds so good Finally an amazing headset that I have been searching for for so long.

These are Great looking good quality headphones Bought these for my son to use with his PS4. Only hiccup was that I did not realize they have a USB plug. The PS4 controllers require 3.5mm plug however, these can be plugged into the USB slot located on the front of the PS4 console, allowing them to work with no problems.
