January 2025 Style Name: DeathAdder V3 Colour Name: Black 1. Founds no issues with the shipping 2. Properly sealed pack 3. Nice box design 4. The mouse is light and feels good. 5. Razer eco system software is good. Easy to create and set macro keys. Can do a lot of things with new Razer Synapse 4.

Bought this mouse as a replacement for my 4+ year old DeathAdder V1 and I have been really impressed with all the new features. I can genuinely feel the difference between the new and old sensor and find that it has made my accuracy in games like Rainbow Six Siege ever so slightly better. It has also made daily tasks from browsing the internet to doing homework much more enjoyable as it feels much more snappy and responsive. On top of this, the new switches are a big step up from the original and feel more solid and premium, virtually eliminating the rattle that existed in my older model. The new thumb grip also feels a surprising amount more comfortable to use and works wonders in conjunction with the new glide pads that are much bigger and have a different, smoother material than in the DeathAdder V1. I was excited about the extra DPI buttons below the scroll wheel and unfortunately, while I’m sure they could come in handy at some point, I have found no use for them even after I reprogrammed them into usable keys. Macro enthusiasts could definitely find them handy though. Overall this is a solid mouse that I’m sure will last me as long as I need it to. 5/5 5 people found this helpful

January 2025 Style Name: DeathAdder Essential (2021) Colour Name: Black I had a different razor mouse that was more expensive. The pads came off and it was suddenly unsable. I get the same responsiveness from this mouse! Perfect. Also the price point makes it a great starter mouse if you’ve just bought a gaming pc

Probably one of the best mice you can get on the market. I’ll update this review if there are any flaws/damages over time, but so far it has been great. Handling the mouse feels smooth and very responsive. The mouse works both wired and wirelessly with great performance, and lasts a long time. The material of the mouse also feels a lot better compared to my old V2 Deathadder and I have not noticed any grime or dirt accumulating on the mouse over the last 2 weeks of frequent use. My only nitpicks are that there are no LEDs or special features on the mouse besides from the 2 extra buttons which makes it feel a little plain. The mouse comes with customisable stickers and grip pads for the mouse, but they feel like a cheap addition for a £104 mouse and I have not bothered to use them.

A very solid mouse with minimal bad points, the shape is closer to a standard ambidextrous mouse than the Dex, and the skates are very fast. The finish is premium, and the clicks feel a nice balance between snappy and soft. The dongle is different, but works perfectly, just needs to be on the desk to work at full 8k with no issues.

Summary: good value, premium feelings, light weight I previously used a CoolerMaster MM710 which is slightly lighter (-5g) and smaller in size. If you have small or medium hands you won’t be able to fingertip grip this Razer mouse. This Razer mouse has much better build quality than my MM710, there are no creaks when you pinch it on the sides. The 8K polling rate is not something I use, some people say it’s a good improvement over 1K Hz but I can’t really notice it too much playing CS2. The big downside is that when moving the mouse fast it uses up to 20% more of my CPU compared to 1K. The point where the cable attaches to the mouse is angle upwards so the cable won’t drag. The cable is very light and flexible so is not a hindrance. The surface is a smooth matte coating which is neither good or bad. The feet are very smooth and thick enough to have plenty of life in. The button clicks are not very loud and the scroll wheel is smooth but well defined. It doesn’t make an unpleasant sound. I would definitely recommend this mouse. 8 people found this helpful
