I have learned to expect quality from Plantronics and I wasnt disappointed.

The C725 is a great all around USB headset, and as a sales person I spend tons of time tethered to the computer with it on. The ANC feature works well, and the sound is great both listening, and speaking. The headset it should be noted is USB only, at least with the stock C725 and does not have Bluetooth, which can be murky when looking at descriptions online of the headset itself. Works well with all standard systems like teams, zoom, etc. and Works well with softphones VOIP systems as well. Drivers help with customizing, but windows 10 will ID it just plugging it in, which is nice. All in all a great wired alternative to the Bluetooth versions.
karbagley –
Hard to hear, very tinny and back echos. Impossible to have a conversation because while talking there is a horrific echo and lag so you end up talking over the person talking to you.
Joe438 –
Sound is strong and clear. Mic works well. Features are intuitive. Comfortable on the head and ears. An aside for me, but music also sounds very good.
leethrifty –
Great sound and easy to use.
vco1262 –
The item RAM DIMM was delivered very fast. The module has a soldered smd restored. Works stable.
SETH –
This is a very nice headset. I use a similar set at work but they are MONO. These are stereo. The mic seems to be pretty sensitive. I had a family member tell me the sound was a bit muffled so I moved the mic further away from the corner of my mouth and then they said it was fine. Perhaps I need to adjust the mic volume a bit. The best feature is that you can connect it either to your cell phone or your computer. Light weight, can wear it for hours. Comfortable ear pads. Sleek design. Comes with a carrying pouch. Professionally engineered. High quality. Just about as good as anyone can make them.
mykey57 –
This headset is listed as SkypeLync compatabile. It works crystal clear on skype. However, if I run it on my computer through a soft phone, a Zoom meeting etc, it sound like I am in a tunnel. I trouble shot this with a technician and could not resolve my issue. They forwarded to level 2 engineering and have not received any response after a week still waiting….

The best wired headset Ive used as far as Comfort Clarity in Calls. All calls come very very clear The overhead is super soft and very comfortable. The earmuffs are also soft and comfortable does not hurt my ear in long duration calls. I keep my on everyday as I average 100200 calls a day. The mic according to my customers I sound very clear and has great noise reduction. Bonus This headset is perfect and sounds high fidelity on Spotify, Youtube Netflix CONS I wish it had a disconnect feature. No Big Deal I prefer clarity and comfort over detach feature
lilly.c –
Comfortable, good sound, reliable, and long lasting. These are great to use at work in my office
TechieMusicLover –
These are great if you use Skype and tend to keep on for long periods of time. I have a larger head and find most headsets uncomfortable over time. The stereo sounds awesome when not on a call. Thank you
DMarie –
Very pleased with my purchase. The noise cancelling is not the best, and if the volume is too high on the headphones and not loud enough on the phone I get an echo, both issues are easy enough to work around, so not a big deal for me. Overall generally impressed with the quality in all other respects.
Hossain –
Everything is ok not the best in the market but the price very high comparing with others.Microphone good jobANC best featureSounds very low bt fine for me as I only use while working.Earcushons are the worst does not durable and a new pair will cost you almost the same price as the headphone and no alternative options.
bnikkig –
The sound quality of these is good for meetings and recording voiceovers for classes. I love how easily these integrate with Skype and Teams…plug and go The earpieces are very uncomfortable for me. I can only tolerate these for about a 12 hour before needing to swap to inear blue tooth style headphones.
qbasix –
Very bad driver support, sometimes 5 times per day microphone stop working or just headphone getting with poor quality of the voice…
fan of quality –
thank you for the person who was smart enough to put the 3.5mm jack BEFORE the USB, now I FINALLY have a useful boom mike headset for my iPhone that I use DAILY. Some of us actually need sound quality and a headset that will last all day, most bluetooth headsets are GARBAGE. This headset is better than my Sennheiser headset that is now in the garbage. GREAT JOB Plantronic and thanks again.
speedyadam –
Very good sound but the head bracket is too tight

Love this Plantronics model Awesome, in same room, Audio quality. Really transforms teleconferencing. Light weight, excellent Sound using ITunes. Compact. Worth the 99 Buy it.

I use DragonDictate and this is the best microphone I have used. I often dictate on the plane and this is working perfectly
ansari512 –
Nice quality. Noise cancelling is just ok. Overall a good buy.
jnetz99 –
Plantronics makes some of the best voice communication products The speakers are very clear. The mic has a great pick up and those Ive spoke with using the headphones say its very clear. Pros Clear voice communications Noise cancelling Comfortable Lightweight Install Plantronics Hub free from Plantronics for firmware updates additional settings Con Mic is close to cheek
simplellc –
Comfortable, quality is good but this headset shines in the clarity of the voice. Customers hear me extremely well. The portability of the headset is a plus, lightweight and compact.
ericmmmorrell –
Great quality and fidelity at a really good price.

I liked my first one so well I just ordered two more for use with other devices. I use these with Google Hangouts Google Voice to make VOIP phone calls over Ethernet, WiFi, or LTE data connections. I do that on both Windows PCs and on Android tablets and phones. I have not tried Linux or iOS. Google is in the process of merging Voice into Hangouts and its a bit confusing to set up, but once you figure it out it works well. On my Windows PC, I use the USB adapter. It works well and requires nothing special. On my Android devices I sometimes use USB, but usually I just plug in the analog connection. I would never use a phone headset to seriously listen to music, and during phone calls I prefer a mono singleearpiece instead of stereo. With a stereo headset I feel too isolated from the ambient sounds in my office and I can never tell just how loud I am talking, even with software that feeds back some of my microphone sound to the earphone. I often multitask by playing Android games or reading mail while watching TV. It bothers my wife to hear my tablet while the TV is on, so I plug in one of these and hear the tablet only through the mono headset but the TV from the other, open, ear. Works well for me. Sometimes on my PC I pull out the analog plug from the USB adapter and plug in a highquality pair of stereo Sennheiser headphones just so I can listen to music via USB. Its quick to switch back if I need to make or answer a phone call and need the microphone.
tnoutlaw1340 –
The headset works beautifully and was a great value.
Rick54 –
I was hoping to use the phone jack directly in my cordless phone at home. The sound is great on my end and the set is comfortable to wear. But people at the other end of the call can barely hear me when used this way. I have a Panasonic cordless phone.
Geoff64 –
What a fantastic piece of kit. I have just recorded a number of educational videos with it and the sound quality was exceptional. I also use the Blackwire 725 for my everyday communication needs. Cant rate it high enough
Richard2012 –
Provided by Organisation as part of a move away from desk telephones. Comfortable to wear and excellent oral and aural sound quality.
Dr Savage –
Got this for Dragon, and it works nicely. Additionally, the noise cancellation helps me because I do not have to have the volume up as high, and that seems to be less fatiguing by the end of the day.
Phone user –
Good sound quality, solid construction, very comfortable.
Karen B. –
These things are frickin sick Thanks yall
RMSIPS –
I bought this to participate in webinars, and it performs past my expectations. The noise cancelling feature is great, the clarity is amazing. The inline control is very convenient, you dont have to adjust the volume or control the microphone on the computer. The carry case is great for storing and keeping the headset clean.
cgonzer –
Excellent workmanship and easy to set up..no hassle..Noise Cancellation as well..Best of all.. Comfortable
docliang –
Works as it should be.

Good product
Trinaamy –
I bought this wired headset to use with my cell phone so I can have my hands free and feel like Im not nuking my brain. It works great for that purpose. I only wish I could mute and change the volume using the headset controls but that only works with the USB connection. So far Im very pleased with the quality and sound production of the headset. People Ive spoken to since I got it said I come through very clearly, better than talking on the phone directly.
cavediver1996 –
Great Product I have used many types and styles, I have found these to be my favorite.
imperialdrive –
It works, but it has a pretty bad smell and some stickiness to it which is nasty. I had to use bleach wipes and lot of air and sun to make it bearable.
Piumartian –
Had one bad Skype conversation with my Taiwan associate, I was using headphones with one of those horrible microphones attached to the cable. Non stop HUH and What did you say I was so tired of it, I decided to invest in a headset with noise cancelling on a boom mic, and splurge on active noise cancelling on the headset. My first check was Plantronics. Didnt bother with Logitec or Sony or any other brand. Im from Santa Cruz, and Plantronics HQ is here too. I went for this model because it gave me what I needed, without the huge Cans of the Aviation models. I was not disappointed the Active NC is good, considering the small and comformtable earpieces. I was skeptical at first, but the Blackwire 725 came through with great noise cancelling. But the big payoff was in my next Skype meeting, were all parties congratulated me for stepping up and getting a decent microphone they said that it made all the difference. Great work Plantronics engineers
Yann –
The noise cancelling ANC is not very effective Its impossible to speak in the microphone without ANC because your voice echos in your own headset The wire between the headset and the controller is very sensitive and transmits every friction sound straight to your left ear ex the wire rubs your shirt a bit, and it tickles in you ear like you were listening through a stethoscope no other headphone set ever felt like a stethoscope to me The microphone arm is very sensitive to touch, which means that if you move it during a call, the receiver hears a powerful and unpleasant white noise

Our company had just recently switched to a VOIP system, and after going through numerous headsets over 5 others, a close second was the Logitech H650e, this one has held true as the best one. The speakerheadsets are very good quality, and above decent for musicpodcast listening as well obviously not as good as a pure headset for audiophiles but its the microphone that takes the cake. Crystal clear, no complaints from customers. I was concerned that the mic boom wasnt long enough for me it doesnt extend all the way to my mouth but the qualitybuild of the mic is superb and this is not an issue. The VOIP system we used is also supported via the Plantronics HUB which is a separate program you can download to your computer, which allows the inline buttons to be operated to answerdisconnect calls, toggle volume another added bonus. The Bluetooth connectivity is as expected and advertised. You can connect to your smartphone via Bluetooth and once a call comes in via USB, it reverts to your USB and pauses your smartphone FYI all of the videos on their website and literature keep referring to connecting your smartphone via Bluetooth, but it always pair with your laptop if you have Bluetooth builtin. Ive read some people complain that this did not fit their head…no offense, but if this doesnt fit your head, I dont know what will. The band expands wide enough to fit a basketball. Overall, highly recommended.
Ops31337 –
Have used it for gaming on my Xbox One and for calls with my laptop and the love it. It is comfortable and lightweight. Calls, music and games all sound great. one thing Id like is an adjustable volume control on the unit but its not something that would keep me from recommending this product to someone.
gmater –
This is so far the best headset I ever bought for myself and my colleagues, we use Skype for business , the sound quality is superb Good investment
ranger782 –
Great product…Im very happy with the purchase of this item.
ericdesouza80 –
No difference between refurb and brand new. This product was cheap and of the highest quality.

I bought a C315 a couple months ago and liked it so well I just ordered two more for other devices. Its lighter and more comfortable than my C720 headset, and I dont really need or want Bluetooth. The C720 keeps slipping off my head but the C315 stays put. I can wear it for hours and forget that I have it on.I really love the removable 3.5mm analogtoUSB adapter. Thats the main reason I bought this model. It works well on Windows via USB but also lets me use the headset on various phones and tablets with only an analog jack. Im using mine with Google Hangouts Google Voice on Windows and also on my Android tablet to make and receive phone calls via an internet connection. It works well for that. The USB connection does work well on Android if your phone or table supports external USB devices, but I dont usually bother with USB on my tablet analog works fine.I can travel with a C315 in my briefcase and use it with a laptop PC or a mobile phone.Id never use one of these for serious music listening but the earpiece and microphone audio quality is very good for phone use. Tip If you want to listen to music, just pop out the headset cord and plug your music headphones into the USB adapter. Its quick to switch back if you need to make a phone call
Suji –
Received it a few days ago and have been able to hear and speak almost as well as using a regular phone
jbrooks –
Ive been using the headset for about 5 months so far. Overall the call quality is good as well as the speaker. The buttons are useful when trying to change the volume or mute yourself when in a current call. The plug and play feature with skype is great so no other configuration is needed to get it working.
FriscoGator –
Great quality for the price. I appreciate the minijackUSB port flexibility. Plan on buying 2 more for my team.
nkasoff –
Comfortable, good sound quality, easy to use controls exactly what Ive come to expect from Plantronics products.
JDub007 –
These earphones blow away my last pair They provide double ear, soft added coverage with a flexible boom mike and an awesome mesh travel case
SemperFi 0311 –
I had a 9.99 Best Buy headset nice price, On most calls my headset was causing massive noise and interference to the listeners I could not hear the problem. I spent the money for this Blackwire 315325 and everyone is thanking me Sound quality to the listener is excellent, fit is very comfortable, manufacturing quality is also excellent. Only issue is Plantronics recognizes the need for a log cord, i.e. USB connector plus headset cord gives you great maneuverability, but for some reason Plantronics thinks if your plugging direct into your cell phone, a shorter cord is OK I would prefer a long cord here also.
RocketGirl –
I tried this headset out and am very impressed with the audio quality I felt immersed in my call or music or online training.
fasteddie –
I have used my device for approx. 2 weeks, and it works well.I would but it again, but maybe a wireless next time
JMud –
The size is too small, as in the extension of the ear pieces isnt very far. As such the headset is uncomfortable on my head.
Anonymous –
I bought four of these for my team last month. They liked them.
John A –
I use these everyday and they are very comfortable and provide excellent quality.
demetri.a –
These really came in handy when Im playing my ps4. It cancels out all of the background noise and I can game in peace.
a.patterson93 –
Great headset. I do call center work from home and I get no complaints for background noise or being unheard. I love the builtin controls The builtin mute button is especially useful. It comes with a a bag but the bag is kind of cheaply made very thin would not trust it to protect the headset especially for the cost
Robert53 –
I had previously used a Plantronics Blackwire C310M headset for at least 5 years and never had a problem with the quality was very pleased with it. However, I guess it finally wore out because the mic function started to fail I had to jiggle the mic boom in order for people to hear me. Because of my satisfaction with my previous headset, I decided to try the Blackwire C315M headset. Ive only used it a couple of days, but am extremely pleased so far with the performance comfort. I frequently use my headset for multiple hours at a time, so performance comfort are very important. Ive only used the headset with my cell phone once, but that also seemed to work fine.
pdav6012 –
Very good quality. Comfortable headphones. Clear voice
AbsolutelyFreeWeb –
Unfortunately, even when I have low background noise, everyone can hear them loud and clear. While it shows the microphone functionality is good, often I would have liked to be able to adjust the microphone sensitivity and filter out the background noise. I dont see such possibility. Im happy with it otherwise and Ive had it a long time without any quality issues. It seems to cancel noise the other way around. And I find it comfortable and it works well with skype and skype for business, the applications that I use. e.g. when I push the mute button it also mutesunmutes the application This does however not work with Microsoft teams
threefivesix –
Ive used a Blackwire 510 at another job, and loved it so much to come looking for a good used one on eBay. This one is great, but the mic is too sensitive to blowingwind.
bigusdicusbob –
These headphones are fantastic there just what you need when you were using dragon Dictation had them for some time now and cannot fault then
Adam1 –
Setup was complicated and the unit comes with vague instructions. Thankfully Plantronics support was able to provide help. The earpieces are not noisecancelling and I can still hear everything going on around me so it is only muffled. There are many companies that have similar products that have earpieces that are actually noisecancelling.
Chris178 –
Does a great job with sound cancellation, is comfortable to wear, and works with all cell phones.
12345 –
Straight out of the box the cover over the earpiece was falling apart on both sides. The build quality is very disappointing, although the audio quality seems to be fine.
Matt78 –
Been looking for something comfortable with decent sound and suitable for softphone calls. Ideally active noise cancelling was a nice to have. These give me everything I wanted at a very reasonable price. Bass response isnt quite what Id like but overall the sound is well balanced and pleasant for listening to music. Im barely aware of a colleague nattering behind me and I find the Blackwire 725 comfortable for use over a long period of time.
sharring –
This headset has exceeded all expectation In our office we use a white noise generator to help reduce the noise that can float across our vast open space cubical office design. With about 100 cubicles in all directions around me, The Active Noise Cancelation is absolutely incredible. It feels like Im finally able to eradicate all the focus breaking noise around me, without using pressure ear buds and turning the music up. I now use this headset as my main source of audio and communication. I will even take it home on the weekends and use it for online communication in competitive video game tournaments. A direct comment from someone I play with was I wish everyone had a microphone as good as yours. Ive worn this headset for 9 hours one day without the slightest complaint of discomfort or fatigue. Ive been testing headsets since 1998 and must say this is my favorite so far.
cybertron01 –
All round good product, clear sound
Mike2016 –
I bought this recently and it works fantastic on the computer iMac and Macbook Air and works great on my iPhone. I have asked clients about the quality of the calls and they say they have great clarity.
Randy000 –
I leave the headset on when not on a call at times. The mic is always hot, meaning it picks up sounds such as keyboard clicks all the time and plays them into the earpieces with a delay. I see no reason the mic should be hot except when in a call.
GSarthur –
Use for work with VoIP setup on laptop. Works great and is very comfortable.
seperdan –
Love this headset. Stylish, comfortable. Sound quality is great. Extremely light. The only downside is the volume doesnt go as loud as I would like. Other than that its an awesome headset
emfrente –
Comfortable, waited to rate until saw how it endured, felt, worked over time, and its just plain greata keeper.
a929 –
This was the 4th headset I purchased returned first three for various reasons and this one is by far the best. I really really like it.
jeffwu87 –
noise canceling. great sound quality. great great great
