I purchased this lens when I upgraded from a G7 to a G9. Image quality is amazing across the board. I mainly use the lens for wildlife shots and sport events. The results have been brilliant. Clear sharp photos are the norm. Its obviously a larger lens than I would normally carry round, but still small and light enough not to really notice the extra weight in my rucksack. Highly recommended, not a cheap lens but well worth forking out for.

I used it during a trip in the french Alpes. The quality of the photos is great nice sharpeness with almost no optical default. Eventhough it is a super zoom, you still have to come close to get the best photos.

I thought long and hard about getting this lens, it replaced the Panasonic 100300 which was good but not as good as this is. It may be 89 heavier but well worth it. All shots were hand held on a G9.

I had been considering this lens for some time and given the opportunity to purchase a used lens from Wex I jumped at the chance. Can always be totally confident buying a used item from Wex. Use it mainly for wildlife photography. Produces superb images. Very pleased with my purchase.

Bought this, as part of my move to Micro 43, for my LUMIX GX9. First impressions are excellent I took it on a zoo trip and was impressed with the sharpness of the images and the performance of the stabiliser. Easy to use handheld and weight good for a lens of this capability. Plus first rate trade in arrangements from Wex.

Because I enjoy taking pictures and movies of birds, I selected this lens. I am not at all disappointed. The quality of the lens is superb and the picture quality is excellent. The equivalent zoom range with the lens on my camera is 200 800 which is absolutely ideal for bird photography.

This appears to be a good quality, well made lens, with a fast quiet autofocus, thatproduces nice sharp pictures. While it can be used hand held, it is quite heavy 985gm2.17lbs and I find it impossibleto turn the zoom ring while looking through the view finder to frame a shot. Not a lens I would want to carry around all day taking streetcandid photos, greatto set up in one place for wild life or sports shots.John Lewis data for the lens says no tripod collar, but there is a tripod mount that allowsthe camera to be turned through 90 degrees.Online reviewers report it has limitations in low light while using the lens at 400mm, asthe max aperture is F6.3.
