I looked at a number of online reviews before settling on this Atumtek self stick for my trip to Japan. I used this with the apple 13 pro. The Atumtek is robust, I managed to drop it a number of time during my trip and it did not damage the stick. It is small enough to fit in an outside pocket of the backpack. Can be put in the pocket, but not comfortably. It is quick and easy to launch, the phone can be added easily and the stick is stable during use. Its extended length is just about right to get excellent shots above peoples head and getting low down to the ground, adding to some creative shots. The only slight down side is the remote, i think it needs to stay paired for longer between uses. So if you use it and then need to re-use it after 15 min you will need to re-pair the stick to the remote. It is quick to pair but just a hassle. The charge on the remote battery last the whole day. In my hands the fully extended stick with the stand in place was not stable with the phone. It needs to be less than 1/2 extended to be stable with my apple 13 pro phone. I cannot recommend this product enough! I have reviewed it before as I bought it almost 4 years ago to use as a tripod for filming during lockdown and it has been far more useful than I thought. It is so well built and sturdy, even when extended to its full height it maintains stability. I love that it will accommodate device in landscape or portrait and the tripod legs are adjustable in isolation from the extension so that it can be used in narrower spaces too. The remote is great, pairs easily, works from a good distance in tripod mode and is well positioned to use in selfie-stick mode. I didn’t expect to use this as a selfie stick much but it’s great for fun family pictures (my little niece loves being in charge of the button while we all pose) and – as a short person – great to take shots over the top of crowds! The customer service from Atumtek is absolutely above and beyond – I lost the remote button (through my own actions, not due to design fault) and explained the situation to them, wondering if I could buy a replacement button. Unfortunately they were unable to provide specific parts but after a short discussion verifying purchase etc they actually sent me a whole new product as replacement for free. I was not expecting this at all as my purchase was so long ago it is out of warranty, and also the fault was due to me, so I was blown away by this level of service. 11 people found this helpful

First time using a selfie stick as purchased for a holiday. The holder kept the phone gripped at all times even in rough conditions as I used it on the Hornblower boat at Niagara Falls. The tripod is great with the Bluetooth remote for group photos or even just not keep the camera still for taking photos of the Northern lights. I would def recommend as its great quality and well made.

I love this tool. I watched a YouTube video, but it was so easy to set up, even with the use of the automated button. I really like how you can move the stand top around to give different camera angles and being able to record using the remote button instead of having to touch the screen has totally changed my videos. The stand is really sturdy and effective. I’d definitely recommend this.

Excellent bit of kit. I was originally only looking for a bluetooth remote to use the iphone camera from a distance, this comes with one and is removable. The remote itself is really small, you can easily clench it in your hand for a photo and hide it from sight if needed, it looks really good and is built well, far superior to the other cheap looking ones you get separate (the ones that are cheap plastic with the massive IPHONE and ANDROID buttons, ew). It connected easily to my iphone and can be recharged with a micro usb cable (one is included). The stick itself is great, heavy and well built, I’m sure I could drop it down the stairs. It folds up small and you could slip it into a bag easily. The remote clips into the handle sturdily and you can just use the edge of your finger to pop i out if needed. When you extend the rod (to any length you want) you can then pop out the bottom tripod, which can go from a small breadth to a wide spread, good for small and large spaces. Fully extended with the tripod maxed out it feels surprisingly sturdy, no wobble; you could knock it over if you pushed it (obviously) but I’m confident leaving my £1000+ iphone on the top at full height. When your done just push it back down into the handle. The phone holder extends out to fit a large phone, like my iphone 11 pro max, and it clamps strongly on the phone to keep it snug. The holder can rotate so you can have the device both portrait and landscape. Its amazing for a selfie stick, carryable tripod and for the remote. Obviously it doesnt replace a proper full length tripod, but to pop on a table or a rock if your out and about its great. Easily worth £27.99, It feels like it could cost more.
