A lovely phone for the price. Nice size. Easy to use and fast. Cameras are great too. Beware though. It does not come with a USB cable despite it saying it in the, what’s in the box section. I highlighted this to Gadget Tree and they resolved the issue there and then. Superb customer service

Most of the Z lenses are pretty astounding. The rest are great. This one, although not an S lens, is also great. I have the 24-70 F4 but wanted some extra reach. This lens does not disappoint. Not having a fixed aperture isn’t an issue for me as I shoot at F8 a lot. Put this lens on your camera and you likely won’t take it off. 6 people found this helpful

I wanted a good “walkaround” lens for my Nikon Z6ii and after reading a few reviews, I decided on this lens. I’m genuinely surprised at the quality & sharpness of it, as it’s not the most expensive of Nikon’s offerings. Certainly will be in my camera bag as a go-to lens now! 6 people found this helpful

This is super-versatile. Obviously a little slower than a prime lens or 2.8 70-200, but most of the time one doesn’t need or want to shoot with the aperture wide open. The gain is weight, convenience, and the time you’re not spending changing lenses (in what might be a wet or dusty environment which is not great for the sensor). Very pleased with it. Optics good too. 5 people found this helpful

No replacement for the 2.8 lenses but has great image quality and is a fraction of the weight of the 24-70 and 70-200 f2.8 lenses to achieve the same focal range. Not to mention a fraction of the cost. I have the 2 f2.8 lenses as well and can notice a quality difference but that should be expected. I have noticed a slight blue caste but I was capturing mountains so could be haze. One person found this helpful

I wanted a compact & lightweight zoom lens for use on my Nikon Z6, this lens is a perfect size for my needs and it is well suited to the camera form factor. The image quality exceeded my expectations for a non ‘S’ line zoom, the images produced are well rendered with pleasing colours and very good contrast/sharpness (not at all flat and boring as experienced with non premium zooms from other systems). The lens is better suited to situations with brighter lighting, due to the relatively small aperture at the long end of the zoom, however I am also happy to use the lens in poorly lit/indoor situations (especially when paired with a suitable flash unit). Note: the camera autofocus will not be as reliable under poor lighting conditions (again due to the relatively small apertures) but this is easily managed by utilising focus peaking with manual override (when needed) and the forgiving depth of field helps to keep the ‘in focus’ areas, as intended. Update, I have edited the initial review after experiencing some irregular focus even in bright lighting conditions, the lens is still very good but not as reliable as first thought (possibly a sample variation issue with this lens only). 6 people found this helpful
