Ive bought this product a lot . Therere amazing when they work but dont have the longest life span , I usually get about 6 months outta it before I start having issues with the battery packs , when it works theyre good , usually last a good 5 hours of playing before needing a recharge , they take about two hours to charge which is quick , the product also looks quite nice , I cant really complain for the most part , just wish they lasted longer

This is very cheap for what it actually does. Charges fast and keeps the controls together nice and tidy. Once my son has finished with his controller he puts it straight on the docking station rather than not knowing where he has put them

Bery happy with the bundle, however since using the supplied battery packs my controllers bo longer vibrate. I havent changed any settings and when I put AAs back in the controller functions properly and vibrates. No idea what could be the issue.

I ordered this for my two sons, with the idea they could charge both their controllers at once however this is not compatible with one controller. The newest of controllers that I ordered as extra is compatible with either Xbox one or Xbox series X however does not fit the rechargeable pack that comes with the venom My mistake I suppose.

The rechargeable batteries are not especially high capacity but they last long enough not to cause problems. Also, the charger does not cut off when charging is finished so you have to take the controllers off to avoid overcharging and potentially shortening the battery life.Other than that, a simple, cheap and effective way to keep two wireless Xbox controllers charged up and ready to play. Simply plug into one of the usb ports on the rear of your Xbox and away you go. Very good.

It comes with replacement, rechargeable battery packs for two controllers and fits nicely on the console. We did not like the brightness of the indicator lights. showing the state of the batteries, changing from red to green when charged. The problem was soon solved. The lights were mostly blacked out with a marker pen, and neatly covered with two strips of insulation tape. It now looks smart without being too bright.

Bought this for my Xbox one X and I am really impressed. Battery packs fit perfectly into my controller and last for hours. The charging dock is a doddle to use just rest your controller on the cradle and itll be charged when you need it next. It also charges when the Xbox is in standby when using the USB port in the front of the console. Really happy with the product.

It was a really good price for the item, it is a lovely nice black colour and comes with two stations to put your controllers and charge them. Both chargers have a long battery life and they dont take ages to charge fully, love how the icon when its charging turns from red to green when the item is fully charged. Would definitely recommend such a good price for a good product

Previous charging station had flat metal connectors that you had to push the platform down to charge which didnt work. This product is more robust with better connections and is easy to identify when the controllers are chargingcharged.Would be great if it switched off once fully charged so a controller could stay on the platform when using the other one to play.

This is one of the easiest charge kits for controllers on the market. You literally just place the pad on the docking bay and it lights up red when its charging. When charging is complete there is a steady green light. Just as simple as picking the pad up when needed and placing down when done. No awkward wires getting in the way and using your time trying to line up the usb cable. No matter if you line it up properly or not a USB cable never goes in first time

Why did we buy another well the one we bought for the Xbox 360 was, and still is, amazing. When the new Xbox 1 was bought and installed it was a no brainer we needed another . I hope the new one is as efficient as the other one. Not that I have any doubt it will. Good features include it is low enough to fit on shelves and the indicators are very clear and bright. The rechargeable batteries are easy to fit as my 7 yr old grandson fitted them for me and the last ones are still going after two years. definitely a good piece of kit.

Brought for my son unfortunately the battery packs dont fit his new type controller it is an official one. Luckily it does fit my daughters so she now has it, it works fine and I would still recommend as my son goes through a lot of batteries.

This is simple and effective. Clip in the new battery and it will last quite a few hours. Also the extra battery will rest on the charger points so no need for second controller but more convenient. The LEDs are bright so at night, cover them if you are a dark room, or I use them as a night light. Works well.

Im really happy with this product. Its at an affordable price point, yet it does its job so well. Charging your controllers only takes a quick drop onto the charging stand, and a fairly short wait time. Only problem I can see is a little bit of discharge when you take the controller off the stand, but it isnt a huge problem. I would totally recommend this to anybody looking for a charge dock for their controller without breaking the bank.

Simply plug one end of the included USB cable into your Xbox One and Thor other into the charging cradle. Remove the Xbox One Controllers battery covers and replace with the rechargeable battery packs provided.Sit the controllers in the cradle, when the Red light turns Green, the controllers are charged. As long as the Xbox is plugged into the mains and the mains socket is switched on, the controllers will charge.Extremely simple to use and rapidly pays for itself with no longer needing to purchase AA batteries for each controller.

For the price, its pretty good. But I wouldnt want to pay any more, the reason for this is that the batteries seem to be of low quality and arent fully compatible with the Xbox.The batteries go flat faster than the official Xbox ones. And I dont get a low battery warning like I do with the official ones. Instead the controller just dies in the middle of a game, and I need to swap it quickly. Also when fully charged, it doesnt appear fully charged in the Xbox menu.

This charging station does what it says on the box…it charges your xbox controller. Its a simple design, so easy to use. The only problem is that you cant charge the batteries independently of the controller. I have 4 batteries and 2 controllers and I cant charge the batteries without the battery being in the controller..unless I prop the battery up with something else as the charging station is slightly inclined. The price is great though, and the delivery was quick I would recommend this

Both my boys are hardcore gamers, They are the first to complain if something isnt perfect, we have gone through hundreds of headsets and controllers. so much so that I probably should have bought shares in Microsoft. Ive had no complaints from either of my boys in relation to the charging ports or batterys that came with them, they hold the charge well and are great value for money. Only down side is that they only come with a USB lead to charge, a plug would have been the icing on the cake.

Good controllers sit on the charging unit easily and charge well, separate charging lights for each connected controller.Not quite so good I was expecting this to be mains powered, as the reviews I had read said that it comes with a mains lead and power supply. This apparently is not the case in the UK. It comes with a USB charge cable. I would have preferred a mains powered unit.Other thing to be aware of is that, as the supplied battery pack have NiMH batteries, you should not leave them on the charger once they have charged up. It is only Lithium Ion batteries that can be left on chargers after reaching full charge.

Does exactly what it says on the box It offers an attractive stand for your controller, whilst refuelling the packs for the next fight. So glad that I bought this, the batteries last a good amount of time. When Im not playing on the XBox my partner is. Very easy to insert into the back of the controller and even easier to charge Just plug the dock into the wall via a USB plug or plug into a USB port on your console and then just place the controllers onto the dock. Lights are red when charging and go green when charging is complete.

This was a replacement for the venom plug in battery packs which had started to run down fairly quickly after 4 years of constant use.The build quality is great, the battery packs give a nice solid sounding click as they fit in to the controller. I have mine in a standard Xbox one controller and a first gen elite controller and they fit perfectly in the controllers and the controllers both fit great in to the charging stand.Great item.

Im not really a proper gamer but I got fed up with picking up the controller when i fancied a game of Fifa for example and the controller was flat. I bought this charging station as it looks very much like my PS4 charging station and that is brilliant. However, upon plugging tbis charging station into my Xbox, I put the controller on to charge and I could hear a high pitch noise whenever the controller was on it and it was unbearable to the point I refused to charge the controller any longer. As I charge a controller while I play, this would be a massive issue so I am returning ASAP. I dont usually write reviews, but I was especially disappointed with this product.

I bought this for my younger brother as a Christmas present as I knew he would be getting a new console. It slotted in nicely next to his consol, making it clean, neat and organised. As he is young, he has a tendency to not take care of his controllers, leaving them around when not playing. However this has given him a reason to store his controllers in a safe place, and charge ready to use for his next go.

Down side is you need two controllers as you cannot keep spare battery charged unless it is in a controller. Easy to use and so far happy with the purchase.We have several of these now in various designs. My son has a version that takes the controller upside down that can be tricky to locate the controller first time whilst making the contacts to charge no issues with this unit.Downside green LED charged indicator doesnt extinguish once charged so emits an annoying light source at night. You have to remove the controller to extinguish the LED. Can live with it though.

The battery packs do not work with the new Xbox controllers, even though this product says it will work with ALLXbox One controllers and the new style controllers are for the Xbox One as well as the Series XS. So they need to change the description to say will only work with new style controllers which have an extra third button in the middle. Make sure you only buy this if you are using an old style xbox controller.

Cant rate it 5 yet as Ive only had it a week. Plastic seems a bit light and personally I prefer something a bit more solidmetal based but I guess thats reflective of the price. Simple USB makes it quick and easy to install. Ive played about 56 hours on it without a recharge yet. LEDs are good and the battery pack fits in nicely. I reccomend if youre going from batteries. Saving time and money Looks quite nice on my desk too, just make sure you have the room for it as its quite long.

It lasted maybe 5 charges before sit would no longer charge up and battery remained at critical, on my opinion, it is a waste of money and youre better off looking for other rechargeable brands instead for the Xbox One controller. The element has gone a brownish colour too almost as if its been fried. I have brought more pack from a different brand. But this Venom one probably lasted me around 100 hours of gameplay which is ofcourse mixed between charging and plug and play.

Simple to set up and use, however the claims of 18 hrs of battery life are exaggerated. 67 hrs is more realistic. Have recharged a few times now so should be at optimum but still no better. Had a different make before and their batteries lasted much longer but stopped taking charge after daily hammer of 13 14 year olds for about 14 months. For hands off charging its great. It wont take up a lot of space and looks quite smart while the battery is charging. The batteries themselves, that remains to be seen from a complete charge theyre currently lasting a total time of approximately 4 hours before being completely drained. Not what advertised but as long as that doesnt decrease quickly then Im happy.

The battery pack is also not compatible with the Microsoft Xbox One controller sold as a spare co trolley with the share button on it. Microsoft have moved the location tabs for the battery cover.

I love this. I am a massive gamer, so spend a lot of time on my Xbox One. I used to have rechargeable batteries, which were fine, until Id lose a couple when changing them over.These are great as once you fit the charger packs on the back, no more fumbling with replacing batteries and no more buying batteries to replace ones Ive lost. Just stick them on charger when not using and they charge up. I have sometimes forgot to put my controller on charge but in those cases, Ive placed it on charging dock, and in about half an hour, Ive got few hours of battery.It also fits great next to my Xbox on my tv stand. The baytery packs do fit the original controller that came with the xbox but i recently purchased a new wireless xbox controller and the battery packs do not fit…..it seems microsoft has updated the newer controllers……its all been a complete pain tbf so will need to send all this back and have been told to purchase the venom xbox s or x docking station with battery packs as this will fit my sons wireless xbox one controller…..total carryon

I bought this charger for a birthday present which was very well received. It looks good and charges very well with indicators when its done. Being USB powered means is a bonus as it means that you can place it where there are no socket outlets. I decided to purchase the Xbox One Charging Cradle as my son was going through a lot of AA batteries. As per the Argos description it comes with two rechargeable batteries which makes things a lot easier. It has two indicators on the front of the cradle. When they are red the controllers are charging and when they turn green they are fully charged. He has two controllers and one is charging whilst he uses the other one for gameplay. The Cradle holds the Wireless Controllers securely.

I bought this for my 75 year old disabled father in law for his birthday. He doesnt go out at all and is mostly confined to his room. Although my son has the official plug and play, it seems to have stopped working. Pros These are a huge improvement on having to replace double a batteries. The battery life is very good, even when using a headset with them they last for a hours. The docking station works well, the controllers just sit on top and charge. The lighting indicators are clear, red means charging, green means the controller is fully charges. Cheap and easy charging. Unit looks good on top of my Xbox. Charges two controllers at once. Comes with 2 batteries that replace the standard battery compartment on the controller. This allows you to just drop the controller onto the charging cradle. Has two bright leds on the Base unit to indicate if charging or fully charged. The cradle unit simply plugs into the Xbox via USB and charges controllers even when the Xbox is switched off. This unit saves me a fortune in double A batteries.

The batteries dont fit the xbox controller. It springs out if pushed into position. The only way I got it to kind of work is bending the battery casing clip and sellotape it in place. Its cheap but if it doesnt fit then its purpose is faulty. I was surprised and disappointed.

Bought this for my sons xbox one side as we were getting through batteries like nobodies business.The catch some in the battery packs were a little tight but apart from that we were up and running inside of 10 minutes.The handsets took about an hour to charge to green and then we were good to go.The stand keeps everything nice and tidy. So Ive had a 360 and an Xbox One from release. For my 360 I only had the play and charge kit, my friend had a docking station. When the Xbox One play and charge came out I bought it to save changing batteries. I believe I paid 20 for it. I wish I hadnt The ubs slot on the controller is about the only design flaw and the play and charge kit wont work should that become damaged. This on the other hand you pop it on the docking station and charge it. Id say in about an hour its charged fully and you get a good while out it, even with a stereo headset attached which runs down the battery. Its neat and needs little space and for 18 what I paid its a steal so honestly just buy it.

This is my second purchase of a venom charging station. They do exactly what they say. Charge quickly and keep controllers tidy and in a place they can be easily found my kids will leave them anywhere . Also great as there are no messy wires to trip over, only the power wire which plugs into the Xbox. The battery has to be in a controller to charge, which is ok for me as I have a spare broken one I use. Would be an excellent design feature if they could be charged on the dock without one in my opinion. This however does not detract from its performance in any way, and it deserves its score. My only slight problem would be occasionally the pins which rest on the battery to charge it, have moved slightly, so Ive unplugged it from the usb, and with a screwdriver, teased them back. This however was after many months of my teenage sons banging their controllers into it. Once reset theyve been fine. Hope this helps anyone buying. Its a well priced reliable bit of kit.

Quick and easy to set up, i just plug the provided USB lead into the USB port on my Xbox any the charger is ready to go.You then just change the batteries over in your controllers to the battery packs provided .Put the controllers on the charger unit and let them charge .Has colour lights to indicate when charging and charged.Red charging blue fully charged.Im very happy with the item.Small note is you have to make sure the controllers are seated properly or They wont charge.

I said that this is not good value, as you can buy cheaper elsewhere. However, I just brought one of these, so this is a day one review. The unit itself feels cheap and tacky to the touch, but thankfully you are not going to be touching it, so that does not matter. The batteries fit in with a few attempts, but you do not have to be a member of Mensa to fit them in. The batteries come with some charge on them, but after placing them on charge for about 30 minutes to an hour, the green lights came on, and showed that they were charged. I hope that they have a cut off, as obviously you do not want them drawing power from the PC and over charging the batteries, and you do not want to keep unplugging them all of the time. A cheap alternative to batteries, I paid 15 for mine so if you are using normal batteries, then you will save money in the long run over the year.

Excellent idea to have the controllers always charged but the LEDs are too bright, especially when fully charged.It also appears from the instructions that you shouldnt store them on the cradle otherwise itll damage the battery life. I dont think it explicitly says this but I inferred it.Would be great if it could be stored using a trickle charge so you dont have to take the controllers off once charged.

I have used Venom charging docks for quite a few years now on various gaming controllers. They have always been reliable and I have never had any issues with them. Also, a good place to store the controllers rather then having them thrown on the floor etc. My son says that, once charged, the controller will last all day.

Saves a lot of money thanks to included rechargeable batteries. Batteries last long enough for all day hardcore gaming and docking is able to recharge them overnight. Docking also works well with my elite controller. This is a must have for every xbox one gamer.

This is a great little charger with some funky charging indicator lights on it if you like that sort of thing. The base shines up in red when charging and green when charged. This is independent for each controller. If youre careful, you can place just the battery packs which come supplied on the stand and continue to use the controller with other batteries if you have them.Highly recommend this product

Stays on red charging mode and never turns green like its supposed to so that you know when controllers are charged even after 12 hours. Gave one star because it wont let you leave none. Returned and got a different brand.

Pros So easy for the kids to charge their controllers. Just a matter of just placing them in the charging docking station. Its really simple and easy to srt up. Makes it all look tider instead of having cables and controllers sitting about charging. Definitely worth every single penny.Cons No bad points.

Already had this dock in black but liked the camo better. Very good for a gamer as you can have two controllers at the ready when you turn on the console. Much easy with the dock and batteries as I seemed to go through normal batteries like no tomorrow.
