August 2024 Style Name: Single I like this keyboard. Far better than my previous one. solid and nice looking. The buttons seem better than normal. Comfortable to use One person found this helpful

The keyboard is good. The mouse top casing had been forced onto the bottom half. The right click did not work. My son opened it up and found that the inside of the mouse was damaged. I did not want to return the keyboard and it did not seem possible just to return the mouse and ask for a replacement. I decide it was easier just to buy a better quality mouse. This keyboard has all a real proper typist needs and it is only in using this keyboard rather than that of a laptop or a mini keyboard that one realises how badly ones typing has become. However with this keyboard, I can revitalise my better typing as was before I retired. Has good touch and real keys to press and you just plug in the keyboard and mouse to get going. Well worth it. Logitech will never stop surprising me, this is the best what you can get in this price with quality. I have been looking for a basic wired mouse and a keyboard and searched almost everywhere but couldn’t get a decent price and the value for money This is a win win and I would recommend this anytime of the day to anyone who is looking for stylish keyboard in an affordable price. Keys are easy to press and good on finders, and mouse is laser controlled with precise movement, I have used it on different surfaces without a mouse pad and worked fine for me, 2 people found this helpful

This package is what you expect from logitech, very solid keyboard that does its job with no flashy bits. Everything feels well put together and works fine. If you are looking for a budget keyboard/mouse then I can’t see any reason to buy anything else. There’s no point in trying to save a couple more pounds on an even cheaper Chinese one when this will most likely last a lifetime. Now all logitech need to do is make a super basic mechanical keyboard! One person found this helpful

This was bought as an emergency purchase to enable use of a Dell Latitude E5530 laptop. The original keyboard on that had become unusable because of a build up of detritus over 10+ years between the key contact membranes – a vacuum was no longer able to clear the mess. I run Ubuntu, and make use of the multi-media special keys, and especially the calculator pad at the right. I originally planned to get the DELL USB keyboard, but close examination of the pictures showed that although it was described as ENG(UK) QWERTY, the pound sign £ was not supported. With the original keyboard detached from the motherboard, and a piece of thin card to insulate components, the logitech keyboard was laid across the “hole”, plugged in to a spare USB 2.0 port. It’s slim enough so that there is still full access to the trackpad, and the height does not get in the way of seeing the screen. Worked as expected on every key – checked with the xev utility -with my OS. No extra driver needed. There is NO Fn modifier, so I have had to write my own key-bindings with other modifiers to achieve things like volume, brightness, and immediate access to the calculator. I haven’t tried edge case tests like the REISUB commands direct to the Linux kernel. Because of the way it has to be positioned neither ergonomics or comfort can be a consideration, but I would note that the keys are “clacky” and provide good feedback. Did the expected job. A good purchase. UPDATE 5 September 2024 The legends on the keycaps are starting to wear away, less than three months of use. E, R, C, N (worst) and M. Really missing the multimedia keys for controlling volume. No problems with actual keystrokes and reading on the Ubuntu system. 2 people found this helpful
