November 2023 Style Name: R800 I’m a teacher and use this for lessons , assemblies and presentations. It is great, just plug the USB key into your computer and away you go. I’ve had a few of these in my time and this is by far the best. One person found this helpful

December 2019 Style Name: R700 New Does what it says on the tin. Superb range and very easy to use, sits well in the palm and effortless slide transitions. Even the red laser beam works well on all but LCD screens. One person found this helpful

This is one of the better remotes on the market; I use it every week. The laser intensity is just right and the range isn’t too shabby – you can click from right across the room without any problems. The timer is a useful addition especially when you have speakers running over their allotted time. And my first set of batteries are still going strong (do remember to switch off!) so no complaints there as well. 5 people found this helpful

for me this remote offers outstanding freedom of movement during presentations. It works flawlessly from a considerable distance, giving us the confidence to engage with our audience. The button layout is well-designed and intuitive, making it easy to navigate through our slides without fumbling. The dedicated buttons for starting and ending presentations are especially handy. Laser The built-in laser pointer is a handy tool for highlighting key points during our presentation. It’s bright and precise, ensuring our audience’s attention stays where it should be. The R700’s battery life is impressive. I’ve used it for multiple presentations without needing to replace the batteries. This reliability is crucial during important meetings. It’s compatible with most presentation software, including PowerPoint and Keynote, eliminating any compatibility concerns. Cons: Build Quality: While functional, the build quality leaves something to be desired. The plastic construction feels a bit cheap, and the buttons could be more tactile. It doesn’t have the premium feel of some other presentation remotes. Unlike some competitors, the R700 relies on traditional batteries. It would be great if it had a rechargeable battery to reduce environmental waste. The R700 is quite basic compared to some other presentation remotes on the market. It lacks features like Bluetooth connectivity or additional programmable buttons that power users may want. It’s a bit on the bulky side, which might not suit everyone’s hand size or grip preference. This can be a minor discomfort during prolonged presentations. While the wireless range is generally good, it can be inconsistent in larger rooms or when there are many obstacles. It’s something to keep in mind for larger presentations. In summary, the Logitech R700 wireless presentation remote is a reliable companion for most presentations. It offers wireless freedom, intuitive controls, and a bright laser pointer. However, its build quality, lack of advanced features, and occasional range limitations may not make it the best choice for everyone. 2 people found this helpful

An amazing bit of kit and half the price of a well known high street store. Some reviews say the ‘start PPT’ and ‘black screen’ buttons don’t work unless you download software, this was not the case for me. I have a work Dell laptop that I cannot load anything onto, I plugged this in and everything worked with seconds. It is the best presenter I have ever used, the timer is brilliant, as is the range, and finally the red laser is superb. If you are looking for a presenting tool, I cannot recommend this one highly enough… 10 Stars

If you’re looking at being professional when presenting, then this will help you. The transmitter/receiver is radio-based, which means you don’t need to point presenter at the pc to advance/pause/step back, and the range is far better than other units I’ve tried. Works fine with Windows 10, both 32 and 64bit versions The laser in this version is red (there is a green version), and is clearly visible on all but the brightest screens.
