TERRIBLE LEFT DOUBLE LEFT CLICK PROBLEM WITH NEWER G502s
AlphaWolf50 –
I purchased the G502 to replace my beloved G700 that finally gave out. This mouse might have received 5 stars if I had never used the G700.Pros Infinite scroll wheels are amazing. Tracks accurately on a pad Cord is lightweight and braided Ive never felt like it was interfering with with mouse travel The topleft buttons G7 and G8 are better positioned and easier to click than on my old mouse.Cons Scroll wheel is a bit slippery when not in infinite scroll mode. The wheel on my last mouse was superior. Doesnt track well on the hard plastic surface of my desk, so a pad is required. The old laser mouse worked fine without a pad. I wish it had the 4 thumb buttons like the G700. The sniper button is too hard to reach, and two remaining thumb buttons are insufficient. I dislike the angular gaming aesthetic. At least the RGB can be disabled.Overall its a good mouse, but I didnt fall in love with it instantly like I did my last mouse. One month of ownership has not changed this initial impression.

Ive never owned a gaming mouse before so I dont have much to compare it to.I really like how it fits into my smallmedium sized hands. At first, it felt slippery when gaming, but Ive since gotten used to it.The weight is not too heavy compared to a Consair mouse I was about to get, which is great. It could be lighter, but Im loving it so far. Also, I love the amount of buttons there is on the mouse. I make use of all of them when playing Apex.Besides the mouse the Logitech software is very confusing to use and doesnt seem to be very beginner friendly. It was hard trying to figure out how to keybind. I wish they made it easier for us newbies.

Up until I received this I have been using a Logitech G502 Gaming mouse, a slightly older wireless version. This mouse is corded, but with a very lightweight and braided cord, something previous wired mice have lacked for me. It does not snag or rub against most surfaces, so my gaming has not been interrupted by any need to adjust the cable position etc.Out of the box you get the option to add weights into the carcass. On its own the body does not weigh much at all, but with the added plates it near enough matches the very desirable weight of my 502 each to their own in terms of comfort. Speaking of which, the shape is great, nicely contorting into your handI ended up getting a second one of those for my other half as she was really impressed at how nice it wasSetup is easy, its literally plug and play, although you can download the Logitech suite to fully customise all of the additional buttons. This is great for gaming when you want to use a quick macro key without taking your fingers off one side of your keyboardHighly recommended as a mid point mouse

The matte finish gives the G502 Hero a stylized look that plays well with its exaggerated corners and angles. Its a good size for my hands and all of the buttons are easily within reach except for the sniper button that lowers your DPI when held in. Its just a bit too far for my thumb to reach when Im holding the mouse how I would normally hold it not sure if my thumbs are just short or if the button placement is actually too far. Either way, I dont end up using that button often. The package includes little metal weights that you can put inside the mouse to change its weight I put all of them in and now the mouse feels nice and substantial and helps me from being too twitchy when playing shooters. The Logitech G software opens up some nice features for this mouse, mainly customizable DPI settings and lighting. You can even change the polling rate of the mouse to make sure its reading your input as accurately as possible All in all, this is a great gaming mouse that comes in at a reasonable price for the features it offers.

An extremely comfortable gaming focused mouse with a surprisingly wide array of features for its extremely affordable price point. The included additional weights are extremely useful for adjusting the weight of the G502 SE HERO so that it sits solidly on any surface and gives extremely fine, pinpoint movements easily. The ability to uncage the scroll wheel from a traditional scroll to an endless scroll is superb. Ive never had a need for such in the past, but now that Ive experienced it, I cant see myself giving it up in the future and am finding myself using it more and more often in various applications. The programmable buttons are thoughtfully laid out and well placed for use without any discomfort even for someone with long fingers. And though Im generally not a huge RGB enthusiast the implementation in the G502 SE HERO is tastefully done, limited almost exclusively to the G logo and is easily configurable. The setup process in Windows 10 is a breeze, requiring little more than plugandplay with almost all functionality available straight out of the box with no setup required. Nontechy people who are looking for a starter gamer feature set to see what all the hype is about but dont want the hassle of having to learn to configure a ton of settings should definitely consider this product, while tech savvy gamers that want customizability and features but are budget conscious will certainly find this mouse to be a great solution just as I did. Even hardcore gamers that demand the best, most feature rich and customizable mouse regardless of price should consider this product if theyre looking for a great solution for the spare gaming rig for guests when they visit, or to take with them on the road when you dont want to risk losing your top of the line main rig mouse. An affordable, feature rich Gaming mouse that punches far above its pay grade and sure to not disappoint. I highly recommend this product.

Im very picky when it comes to mice. I suffer from carpel tunnel to a moderate degree, so need to be careful with the mice I use. Personally, I like a mouse that has a few extra buttons within easy reach to customize for games that require the heavy use of Ctrl or Alt, since reaching for them can be literally painful. I relied on a Corsair M65 for a long time because of the large customizable button near the thumb, but with my new computer I wanted to stick with Logitech because of the keyboard I had chosen. The G502 was one of the few mice Logitech offered with a similar button configuration. And, its not bad.The mouse is comfortable to use with a number of extra buttons to customize and a large thumb button on the left side for easy access. The thumb button is just a little farther than I want it to be, but still within reach. Out of the box, the mouse is programmed with two DPI buttons, one up one down, right by the left click, as well as two more buttons by the thumb and another behind the mouse wheel unlock. The mousewheel does unlock, which is a feature Ive never used before as well as the mousewheel feeling very sturdy due to its metal structure. The mouse comes with added weights to tune your mouse, something Ive never felt the need to use, but are there for more advanced users. To get the most out of the mouse you need to download Logitechs GHub, which allows you to modify keys, add macros, and change the LED effects on the mouse. The program is pretty extensive allowing you to do pretty much whatever you want. Compared to Corsairs program, it seems a bit more streamlined, but otherwise functions pretty much identically. As most gaming mice, it does have LEDs in it. The G symbol can be programmed with a variety of glowing effects. The pictures of the mouse show a triangle just above the G symbol that has three little marks that glow thats not entirely true. Theyre DPI marks that will glow only when changing the DPI setting and then quickly go back to being dark. Its not something I mind, but others who like a flashier mouse may find that annoying.Overall, the mouse feels quick and light and zippy and Id recommend it to anyone looking for a cheaper alternative to more expensive gaming mice.

My gaming mouse from the acclaimed green company broke, loved that peripheral. But decided to give it a break and go with another brand, and Im so glad. The logitech G502 Hero came clutch Super versatile, first of all you can add weight to your own mouse. You know, when you have that piece of technology and it is too light for your own good Well you can add weight until you feel that it is comfortable. But not only that, as my keyboard is malfunctioning, I couldnt be happier to have a mouse with so many programmable buttons. I literally added the 4 keys that arent working to the mouse itself. Feels durable, material wise it is just as good as the other high end brands and guess what It has rotating chrome colors for the lighting pieces. Durable, versatile, comfortable and nice looking Yes please.

This right here is what makes pc enjoyable. It is my favorite mouse of all time, ive owned 12 different mouses of different brands, and this one is what Ive settled on permanently. The button placements are great and you can assign each button to its own macro. Games dont identify it as a threat. Allowing you to use it on just about everything. From Warframe, League of Legends to Adobe Photoshop or Premier. RGB LEDs has been as bright as ever like the first day Ive owned it. Buy this mouse.

My mom loves this mouse.Buttons work great, button placement is great, mouse wheel is very clicky, and can be turned into a free scroll mouse. The LED is totally programmable. The weight can be shifted and adjusted. The only thing I dont use is the sniper slow down on the thumb. But I forget its there 99 of the time.Thank you, great mouse for the many hours of fun.Had to buy a replacement after I spilled beer on my last one.So only con is that it cannot handle its liquor ha ha

I have the same double clicking issue as some other people seem to have. Makes things such as dragging files or double clicking things really difficult, or anything in a game that involves holding the mouse button down. Seems to affect the left button more than the right button, but both suffer for it. I hadnt bought any Logitech products in the last 6 or so years before this, and theyre not really giving me a compelling reason to buy more. If the buttons would work properly, Id really dig this mouse.

I love that it can gain weight or lose it in a few simple moves. It gives me hope for my own weight loss. There are five 3.6g weights you can add or remove from the base of the mouse. Great for stability control.I do not like the RGB light. It looks nice, but why Its not a piece of art. Its a piece of equipment and the light does nothing to improve game play so Im confused as to why it is there. It simply works. Its task is to move the pointer around the screen and it does this easily. With the cord I also dont have to worry about the battery running out at the wrong time. I also dont have to worry about if I am too far away for the signal. Very nice product over all.

I first got a defective one. It didnt work and the light did not even light up. I tried several different usb ports and also different devices but it just did not work at all. So I have tobreturn it and get a new one. The new one is absolutely perfect. I personally like heavy mouses, they give me a sense of steadiness and accuracy since my dpi tend to be high 2400. I like the weight of this mouse and how the weight can be adjusted and distrubuted. A good mouse for both gaming and working. But if you like lightweightd mouse youd better thonk thoroughly before buying this.

Purchased the Mouse about a Month ago and have used it a lot since. Build, design, and software are great. Tracking is fantastic, this is especially surprising since I was always happy with the gaming mouse I had before and I did not expect to be able to feel any difference. For its length which is clearly aimed at users with larger hands the mouse is quite narrow. Almost a bit too narrow for my liking but as this obviously depends on the size and shape of your hands I would not rate it any worse for it. And then there is the wheel. You can choose between hyperscrolling and normal scrolling. Hyper scrolling is completely free and lightning fast but to me it feels very imprecise as it often jumps up a wee bit after you finished scrolling down or the other way round. If there was half stars I would take half of one away because of this issue. However while I am rather disappointed in how this feature works you can simply click a mechanical button to changes it to the normal more ratchet like wheel behavior that you know from most other mice. Gist If you buy it for the hyper scrolling, try it first. This feature feels very novel at best and sort of dysfunctional to me.If you just want an awesome gaming mouse with normal scrolling, go for it. ps Apparently the minor jump at the end of a scroll is well known and some suggest it is imbalance. It might also not be the case for every G502.

I bought this mouse as I was frustrated with my previous Bluetooth mouse not reliably connecting to various operating systems.I was initially worried about the fact the Logitech G502 HERO High Performance Gaming Mouse is wired, but as soon as I plugged it in, those concerns were gone.In short, this mouse works. Really, really well.Ive set up its sensitivity DPI to suit a few different games and its a simple button press to switch between them.Oh, and that previous concern about having a potentially annoying cable Gone Its a decent cable that doesnt curl on itself and long.Id recommend this mouse to anyone, for work or play.

Excellent After a year, my Corsair K65 is starting to fail double click of death. I needed something I could use for both work and gaming. Sysadmin by day, zombie hunter by night… Although there are a lot of buttons, nothing gets in the way of everyday or gaming use. Overall, this fit the bill and turned out to be extremely comfortable. Good price point. Very happy with the ergonomics as well as the weights that come along with it to get you exactly where you need to be. This gets 55 stars from me, I would not hesitate to buy this again.

Second mousereplaced under warranty failed with right click issues, logitech wont replace it because its been 2 years since I bought the original. Dont bother with model if you play a lot of FPS games, the right click button will develop an issue where it will constantly click unless you hold firm pressure on the button. If you even let up on the button at all, even with it still depressed it will register clicks. It makes it impossible to use scopes in some games. Best buy still lists this as a 3 year warranty but logitech says 2. Logitech even came out with a firmware update to address the issue but it does nothing

Ive had this mouse for about a month now and it definitely serves its purpose as a functioning gaming mouse with multiple DPI settings which you can customize. Its super comfortable in the hand, really lightweight and comes with weights you can place in the mouse if youd like it to feel heavier. My only problem has been with the RGB part of the mouse. There have been two occasions where the two separate LED sections werent synced or one section wasnt working at all. Ive had to fully unplug the mouse and reset the RGB settings in order for it to work. Other than that, this mouse has been very nice.

I absolutely love this mouse, and will quite possibly upgrade to the wireless one once I have the budget. I like the solid feel I have all the weights in and the 11 buttons are amazing I wasnt sure if Id use them but they are extremely handy, particularly with the different configurations that can be stored. For work I can have copy, paste, alttab and windowstab all on their own buttons, at home I can have all the media controls, ironically I use them the least when gaming, but binding the crouch key to the thumb button has been very nice. Only downside after using is dirt kinda gets in the grooves in the rubber after a while multiple years, I need to get a decent cleaning thing. I spent a similar amount on the Logitech keyboard with fancy mechanical switches and individuallychangeable RGB keys and regret that purchase not this one

This mouse takes PC gaming to a new level with its design and performance. The mouse has a good ergonomic that you would expect in a standard gaming mouse, and the positioning of the buttons are intuitive and easy to learn and to use. Each button can have its own macro or action assigned to it while keeping each button distinct enough that you wont find yourself accidentally hitting the wrong button. The design is sleek and modern with a nice dark color. The size and weight of this gaming mouse is on point This definitely replaces my old gaming mouse and in areas. The mouse responds quickly with all my clikcing and button pushing inputs. I would recommend you this this LogiTech gaming mouse

The G502 hero is truly a god amongst gaming mice. You can truly customize it any way you want. You can easily map keys to the buttons on the mouse. The software that comes with the mouse will remember each of your mapping that is specific to each game you play and it will automatically switch to that games specific settings that you made. The weights at the bottom are adjustable. Colors are classy. I hate using any other mouse than this one. Even the wheel can be made to freely run or lock in place to make for easier scrolling.

The G604 is a great mouse for not just gaming but for every day computer usage. For those who want to take full advantage of its gaming capabilities, you most certainly can by creating different mouse configurations using the Logitech G Hub software for each game you play.If you arent so much a gamer but are looking for a great computing peripheral that will boost your daytoday productivity whilst using a computer, then this mouse is perfect for that, too. By using the G Hub software, you can add shortcuts, keystrokes and commands to the mouse that can help speed up everyday processes. This really is a great mouse and holds up well against fellow competitor offerings in the peripheral market. For anyone looking at buying a mouse thats been wellbuilt, offering a wide range of features for both gaming and general use, then Id look no further.
ChrisB5000 –
This mouse might look like a 100 gaming mouse and it is BUT you can also use it for general computer use and for picture and video editing. The shape makes it comfortable to use , and it also has many buttons that you can use for many things like gaming, browsing the web back, forth, copy paste, etc, For editing programs, etc.Once you down load the Logitech program you can edit this mouse to your hearts desire. Program all 11 to do what you want. Also change the RGB on the Logitech logo to nay color. The mouse also comes with small weights you can add to make it heavier. I never added them. The only negative is that the mouse is a bit on the heavy side. But that is all personal taste. The sensor on this mouse is excellent as well.Overall I would recommend this mouse.

I have tried all sorts of mice, from Dell, HP and Alienware Corsair and more. All fell short in one way or another. Either flimsy feeling, or not enough customization options, or just a lack of flair.I can say with out a doubt that this mouse is the best Ive used yet. The added option to include weights gives more resistance to the glide, while a DPI changer can help with older games that dont have a high sensitivity by default.Ive found that some of the options are even helpful with video and picture editing. If you are looking for a mouse, I WHOLY recommend this for your pc, gamer or not, this is a great mouse.
Jarrett C –
I love this mouse. I went in to the store to get another G203, but they were sold out. I ended up getting the 502 because it is what my brother in law uses to game, and it was on a pretty good sale at the time. I love itThis mouse is a really good size for my hand I wear L gloves if that helps any, and the button layout is very intuitive. I was able to go into the logitech control program and map several different controls to the extra buttons in several onboard profiles. This means I can plug this mouse into whatever computer I want and still maintain my mapped keys and saved profiles. I use the commands in my work engineer and it has significantly sped up several processes I do on a daily basis, especially cutting and pasting in Excel.Overall, I would definitely recommend to anyone who has medium to large hands, doesnt mind the gamery look, and wants to have the on board memory for mapped keys.

Lasted about a year before developing issues with the left mouse button. Based on comments I find around the internet, this seems to be a fairly common issue with this mouse where the micro switch develops issues prematurely. Support from the manufacturer is basically nonexistent. If you can manage to get ahold of support, which in my experience was way to difficult, theyll make sure to make it as difficult as possible. TLDR When it works its a good mouse, dont expect warranty service if something does go wrong.

Has been an excellent mouse, been using it for a couple weeks now. Im not a gamer, just use it for work. Mouse is super smooth paired with a fnatic dash mouse pad. I have all the buttons programmed to do stuff like copypaste and other commands for work. Love it. Saves time and Im not always switching between mouse and keyboard. If I were to use it for gaming I might need a smaller mouse I have to move out of my normal grip to hit a couple of the buttons. Since Im just cruising between programs and not doing a fast pace game it is no issue for me, just might be if I was doing an FPS game with my small hands.

There arent many many options that have the 1000R curvature well suited for typical viewing distances. Given the lack of options, I found this monitor OK, albeit a little dim. I do really like the curve though. Its really aimed at gamers but Im primarily using it as a regular monitor for technical work with the curve making it easier to fit on the desk in a multimonitor set up. It is noticeably dim compared to the other monitors I have, although for the relatively dark environment is ok. Clarity, etc. seem fine. Controls are via a joystick type arrangement on the bottom which is fine and you get used to it, although that approach to onoff is horrible. At least you can control it with confidence versus many other monitors where you have to poke around the back or bottom blind, hoping you find the right button. Had an issue where the monitor recovered from Windows monitor sleep mode with the right half of the screen dark, although this went away after a few settings tweaks and flashing the latest firmware. It is VESA mountable 75mm although the mounting area is encircled by a ridge which doesnt lend itself well to typical 75100mm combo mounting plates. I did get it to mount without using spaces but would worry about cracking the ridge if tightened too much. Will likely get some more of these unless somebody releases a similarly curved brighter IPS panel, preferably with a USB hub.

Overall this mouse offers a wide variety of options from custom profiles to mappable buttons so you can choose what you want for your own style. Would highly recommend this mouse to anyone and everyone.

Excellent mouse, works well, the G502 is smooth, and quick, with plenty of buttons to program. I have large hands, and I consider this mouse a medium size so its a bit small for me, but it feels good and response is excellent. My only real issue is that the wheel isnt covered in rubber. It boggles the mind why they made that decision. So sometimes, especially when my hands are dry, I have a tough time spinning the wheel. I may need to get a mouse with a rubber wheel. Other than that, the mouse is excellent, well balance, and works well for gaming.

Overall this mouse has been amazing, used it for about a month and Ive already gotten used to the dual profile setting and using all the extra buttons. Even though its clearly targeted towards those who use more macros or similar, it can be great for productivity too. Otherwise incredibly nice build, adjustable weights allow for nice control, the sensor is good and can keep up easily with all my movements. The mouse wheel toggle is also very good, allowing for quick and easy switching between slow and quick scrolling at any moment. Metal mouse wheel also makes it feel nice and quality, and I doubt itll be wearing out anytime soon. Only gripe is that sometimes, if the mouse wheel is unlocked, itll roll on its own as you move the mouse around. Overall very happy and will likely stick with this mouse as long as I can. A little on the pricey side, I will admit, but worth every penny if you take the time to set up the buttons profile and get used to using them in daily life.

If youre looking for a cheap wired gaming mouse but picky about quality and looks, then this is the mouse for you. This mouse is really good for its price. The mouse is lightweight and comes with metal weights you can attach at the bottom of the mouse if you want it to be heavier. Also the scroll wheel can be set to scroll fast or slower by pressing the button below the scroll wheel. Theres a couple of buttons on the mouse which is convenient when Im playing games and I want to click the buttons on the mouse instead of on the keyboard. The mouse isnt too loud when you click it which is nice. None of my friends have complained about the noise which is good to hear. Theres a lot of things you can play around with in the settings of the Logitech software.

I bought my G502 over 2 years ago and have used it every day ever since. For the most part I havent had any problems with it and have loved the mouse. Here are the pros of the mouse and why I will probably buy it againIt fits my hand nicelyHas lots of buttons that can be configured to whatever I wantHas a great mouse wheelThe weight system is amazingNow for the consThe covering over the cable is a pain in the neck. It frays and causes the cable to kink.On mine the frame of the mouse squeaks when I press certain buttons. it always has done this, probably should have brought it back and gotten a new one when I bought itThe pads on the bottom of the mouse eventually start coming off. I have had to get rid of the corners of the pads on the bottom of the mouse. This started happening after about half a year, though lately it is getting worse. The bottom of the mouse has a magnetic clip to hold it on. This isnt strong enough. It has fallen off countless times in my backpack.Overall I would recommend this mouse if you want a mouse that has lots of buttons. It works well both for work and gaming. I will be buying another one soon, though it probably will be the wireless version the cord is too annoying on the corded one. If you get it, make sure to check if there are any problems. Dont be afraid to bring it back to the store for minor issues such as squeaking buttons.

I recently bought this product because I was still using an office mouse for gaming. This mouse has been great with all of its amazing features. One thing I really like is the dpi customization. There are around 6 different preset ones but you can change the presets more with another button to find the perfect dpi for you. The rgb lights are also really cool. The mouse fits extremely well in my hand and even has removable weights that help to customize it even more.

Im a huge, longtime Logitech user and fan. I love Logitech products. That being said, I am extremely disappointed in this mouse. Now I will admit that there may be a problem with my computer but I am doubting that, since my two other wireless Logitech mice work perfectly fine. Periodically, this G502 stops working. For no apparent reason the mouse will just cease to function and the only way to get it back is to restart the PC.Other than that, it takes some getting used to with the DPI settings and what its myriad of buttons do. For gaming Im at odds with it. I have a meh emotion towards the G502 and my older, chunkier wireless Performance MX mouse does the job quite well. In fact at the time of this writing, I am using that Performance MX mouse because the G502 shut itself off again.I think Logitech missed the mark with this one.

Overall it is a decent mouse that is well priced, but it has some design issues in my opinion. It has extra non standard buttons which is probably why youre looking into this mouse, but ultimately they are not placed that well. DPI updown buttons are awkward to press, but take real estate away from the left click button. Basically when buttons are not well placed, they just hurt the overall design and feel of the mouse in your hand. Of the non standard buttons I only use the sniping button and the leftright scroll wheel buttons for web browsing. Ultimately I only got 1 extra button out of the mouse for my gaming use. pros looks cool good price for what you get more buttons than a regular mouse sniping button pretty handy and in a convenient position. it temporarily changes DPI while you hold it custom mouse settings per game, but can be customised to anything else can scroll leftright by nudging the scroll wheel leftright seamless easy to use software. you can even setup alternate versions for each click e.g. you set it up to make ctrl click do something different than click in a specific game you choose you can addremove some weights, though I imagine most people wont use the weights cons in hand feel not ideal for me gigabyte GMM6880 hasthe ideal feel for me. i am a male with a mediumlarge hand and i prefer a palm grip. this mouse makes me use more of a claw grip the extra non standard buttons are not placed ergonomically meaning you wont realistically use any of them except the sniping button, which feels natural to press not the best scroll wheel for updown movements. it feels a bit clunky in how it moves

Made in an ASEANagreement nation with solid environmental and labor regulations unlike china. The quality shows. This replaced my older legendary Logitech G9 mouse which I used for 10 years before it finally started to fail. Im hoping this will last just as long. It feels sturdy, but quite heavy even with all the weights off. I have medium to large sized hands I usually purchase large ski gloves, mittens, etc.. and it feels and fits quite nicely. After getting used to it, Ive been doing quite well in FPS games.

I bought this under a year ago as an upgraded from the brilliant G402. I owned many G402s before switching to this mouse. I regret my decision. This mouse has a common issue where the mousewheel rattles so much. If you play and FPS shooter games that require fast flicking movement of this mouse, the mousewheel will act as a counterweight to your movement ans will literally fight against you. I urge you to look up the mousewheel problems. This mouse has also begun double clicking to the point where its intolerable. Although the double clicking is probably just an unfortunate flaw of my particular mouse, I cannot overlook the mousewheel rattle that is a design flaw and will happen to every single G502.

So I bought the white version before this one. This one was 5 dollars more expensive..at first I thought it was only color that was the difference but looking at the specs on the BB site, 25600 dots per inch. So I got one.Ehh I think it may have been a typo because on the box it says 16,000 DPI…but it really doesnt matter. Its a great mouse and a great one for the collection.Logitech is a winner when it comes to accessories for your PC. Some great deals for Black Friday and in the past few weeks

This is my sons 15 favorite mouse of all time so far. He uses it for all of his gaming Minecraft, Fortnite, COD and more. He also ordered another mouse the Glorious Model D, thinking it would be better, but nope. This Logitech is his favorite. I havent enough knowledge about the intricacies of it, but he says it does everything that he needs it to do for each game CPS, etc.. He also really likes the colors and the ability to use the software to go in and change settings when he wants to.

The Logitech G HUB software is relatively easy to learn without any issues. I also really like how the scroll wheel is basically a fidget spinner. My only problem Ive had with this mouse is sometimes I will accidentally click the button near the thumb area. Mind you, Ive never really owned a nice mouse. So, I dont have much to compare it to, but this is a really nice mouse. Dont know if Ill ever get around to gaming with it though. Nice long braided cord. Smooth wheel. I wear a LXL mens glove and it feels good, maybe a little small. Only fault I can find so far is when engaging the dual mode wheel to single click mode it could be smoother with slightly less resistance.

Before I bought this mouse, I had been using a 1015 GE mouse I got 10 years ago. It started to stop working randomly lately, so I figured I would upgrade. I am not pleased with this mouse at all. Problem number 1, the physical mouse. It has a lot of buttons that are unnecessary in the wrong places that are easy to hit by mistake when you are playing a game. Ive accidentally changed the DPI many times just even doing a single click. The other part of the problem with the mouse is the scroll wheelmiddle button. I often accidentally scroll when trying to push down the wheel, which means I change weapons when I am trying to ping or do something else. The backforward buttons are a bit annoying to use as well for regular browsing. Now besides these, the physical mouse is comfortable to use and responsive, but I dont know why they thought this mouse is good for gaming. On to the software. So you might ask if I have trouble accidentally hitting a DPI change key, why not just disable the button on the mouse Well I tried that, by using the Logitech software. Unfortunately, it seems to go back on constantly. Then there is the annoying lighting, which even if you turn it off in the software, still goes on when you turn on and off your computer. The only reason I am not giving it a 1 is because it works fine for very basic stuff, but why would you get a gaming mouse then No clue how the rating got so high.

The Logitech G502 Hero Gaming mouse is unlike any other mouse I have ever used. The sensitivity can be controlled with just the simple click of one button. I am able to control the DPI settings of the G502 Mouse with ease thanks to simplicit design implementation logitech used for the G502. Not only does it have tons of customizations it also has cool lighting effects that you can control on the mouse it self. What gamer doesnt like lights Everything on the G502 mouse can be controled by the Logitech G Suite. You can assign keybindings to any of the buttons on the mouse. This mouse is so customizable it even has weights that you can addon or take away. If you want a heavy feel just simple drop a weight in the undercarriage or take away any of the weights if you like the lighter approach. Very customizable tool when it comes to playing video games. The G502 Hero has literally saved me in many online battles when it comes to playing popular FPS battles in online competitions. Example of the G502 Hero saving abilities. I was playing battlefield 4 for a Battle.net tournament, with only 10 12 tickets remaining . Eventually the ticket count came down to 2 to 3 my team had 2 guys left and I was one of the last guys to spawn in with another team member. The rest of my team knew not to spawn because we had no more tickets. The other team had 3 Enemys and no one else was spawning on their side either. We killed two of their guys together. But then my buddy went down by sniper fire from their last man up. I had to make my way to the sniper. I found him on a roof top. He knew I was coming. We got in gun battle with us being the last tickets for our respective teams. He kept bunny hopping while I was shooting at him. Eventually I ran out of bullets for my primary rifle. Then he was coming to knife me but the G502 Hero saved my life when I pressed the handgun macro I had bined to the mouse and before he was able to knife me I killed the enemy and got their last ticket and we won the match. Thank you G502 Hero Gaming Mouse.

Got mouse for productivity due to infinite scroll, sideways scroll, and macro buttons as well as gaming. The cord is very nice and braided. It also has a velcro strap attached which is helpful. The software is very easy to use. It has many presets and also makes it very easy to create macros. As for the mouse itself, the RGB zone is small but looks nice, from what I can tell the sensor is accurate, and the mouse feels good in the hand. As for the weights, it feels fine with any amount but I like using all of them.

I used to use one of Logitechs old mice and had for many years. Eventually it was starting to wear out from literal useSwitches were still good, buttons all worked but it looked like it was beaten and abused from all the years lol. So I decided to upgrade since the model I had was discontinued… Kind of regret it, have had the mouse for just over a year and I can say shootersFPS have been a nightmare. My left mouse button started double clicking and my right one started VERY early on not being able to hold its signal. I thought it was maybe bugs in the game.. I was wrong. I tried to bother Logitech about the doubleclicking issue, but instead got a list of fixes and things to try. I could never recreate the effect on the stuff they wanted me to use but would constantly feel it in games. By the time I realized it was the mouse failing to hold iron sights in shooters, I wasnt going to even attempt the RMA system because after some researching, I found out RMAing it will not fix the issue, as even brand new ones will still have the same failure. Thankfully after doing research into it, I found that I wasnt alone and this is a problem that happens with multiple Logitech mice including my model of G502 Hero. Any results I found for possible fixes, RMA experiences or otherwise all point to Logitech ignoring the issue and continuing to just reship the same faulty switches that fail in 6 months. I recommend doing more research when youre looking into a product and for the love of everything, MAKE SURE THE BUTTONS DONT HAVE A HISTORY. I would probably have holes in my wall for the number of times Ive wanted to throw this thing but instead slammed it on my desk in frustration.

Ive used the razer deathadder and razer naga and In my opinion they dont even compare to the g502 hero. Ive had the g502 for about 2 days and collectively used the mouse for 8 hours of gaming and 10 hours of productivity and I am very satisfied with this mouse. I have pretty small hands and this mouse still very comfortable in the hand. I really cant think of anything that would make someone not want to purchase this mouse besides the fact that the scroll wheel down button is pretty resistant so if someone likes the use the middle mouse button then it might be a problem. However, there are 10 other programable buttons so for the majority I think this shouldnt be a problem. The middle mouse button is also cold to the touch most of the time which isnt bothering but it might annoy some people. I realized that the left wheel tilt button is easier the press than the right wheel tilt button not by much. The hyperscroll is fun to fidget with. When I was working it was helpful but not that accurate. The left and right mouse buttons are really easy to press. For me it took a few hours to get used to because the mouse I was using right before razer naga had more resistant clicks. With the g502 I definitely feel faster in my movements in game and at work. The side buttons are really nice the click and easy to locate even in the dark. It did take an hour or 2 to get used to the positioning for me but it was very comfortable once I got it right. The rgb isnt great but I personally like the subtleness or if unlike the massive lit razer logo. The mouse itself is just asa little less heavy than the razer naga but its good weight for me. The extra weights included feel premium but make the mouse a little too heavy I do know some people that have up to all the weights in their mouse. Its all up to personal preference. The grips on the sides and the glides on the button of the mouse are very nice and I have no problem moving or lifting the mouse. The glides are very smooth. I use my mouse on a steelseries mouse pad and its great. My palm wrests very nicely on the mouse and the texture is very comfortable. The software isnt too great but gets the job done. I was definitely lost for a good 10 minutes until I figured out how to program the buttons. The on board memory is great because I can save my presets and never have touch ghub again. My favorite part of the mouse has to be the sensor. It just feels so much more accurate. I play rainbow six seige mostly and after getting the mouse I averaged 412 kills per game which was a huge step up because before with my naga, that has an atrocious sensor, my aim was very inconsistent and made playing not fun. Overall the mouse is amazing and personally I have no complaints.

For the last probably 3 years I was using an mmo mouse across the board. a cheap 30 one at that i thought it was great even said when it dies I will be repurchasing. anyhow my brother let me use his mmo crosair simitar pro and I was convinced that there was a noticeable difference between the expensive vs tje cheap mouse however I was annoyed with the complexity of crosair software which brings me to the Logitech hero. bought it had it up and running with all my settings in 10 mn. beautiful device feels right in the hand even comming from the larger mmo mouse. one of the removable weights did not fit properly, also you cannot change what the scroll up, and scroll down do on the mouse other than that perfect gaming mouse for fps well done logitech.

I switched to this mouse from a Razer Basilisk v2, and I should have done it sooner. I have large hands and overall this feels great to play with. The button layout is nice overall. The number of buttons along with the G Hub software allows for great customization for gaming. One minor thing about having large hands is the placement of the DPI buttons along with the somewhat narrow leftclick button. I have accidentally changed my DPI in the middle of a game with an accidental click of a DPI button. This is easily remedied with a custom profile for games either setting a static DPI or unbinding the buttons. The metal mousewheel is awesome, but it is a little loud. Although thats only an issue when Im not using a headset. Overall I would highly recommend this mouse, but its not quite a 5egg for me.

Ive been a gamer all my life. I recently constructed a new PC and bought all new accessories for it. Including this mouse. After the first month I notice this mouse had terrible clicking problems and will double click in games and stop dragging things if your holding the left click button. I can not express my hate for this mouse enough. I think its a trash product and I will never buy this brand again or any accessories from best buy. I guess Ill have to start buying straight from companies and hope I never have this problem again. Its the worse feeling to get back from a business trip and just want to relax and play a game, but I cant without this mouse double clicking everything and ruining any chance of a good time. Its really a joke of a product and should be taken off the market. trash

In summary, the mouse is pretty good but has some flaws.ProsThe mouse is quite comfortable with lots of reconfigurable buttons and a nice braided cable. There is RGB configurable lighting that can also show what DPI setting youre on.DPI ranges from 1200 to way way too much and is nearly fully configurable via the G Hub softwareG Hub software allows configuration of most of the buttons, RGB and DPI settings and is available from the logitech online product page. The weight and weight distribution can be adjusted via extra weights that come with the mouse by removing the magnetic base and placing them inside. However, there is no way to make it lighter, especially if its the weight distribution only thats bothering you.ConsThe scroll wheel is on a bearing and this allows it to be very smooth and can be flicked for lots of fast scrolling, HOWEVER it is so sensitive that a quick flick or shake of the mouse can make it scroll. In competitive FPS games or otherwise this means switching weapons when you dont want and likely dying. Apex legends was unplayable for me until I disabled the scroll wheel in game. There is a button that slows the wheel down and makes it less sensitive but its not enough for me.The manual that comes with the mouse has next to zero info on the buttons and the webpage doesnt help either so not great.Buttons DPI up, and down. DPI shift that lowers DPI only when pressed, the scroll wheel slower, scroll wheel left and right tilt, and three more, two at the thumb and one at the scroll wheel. Most or all can be fully configured and macrod with the G Hub softwareIn game it performs relatively well and I seem to be playing about the same.Personally the scroll wheel is a pretty big issue for me and I prefer one that has a ratchet style feedback to it with positive engagement. I think I prefer my old 10 mouse honestly.

Excellent mouse. Very comfortable and durable design. I havent had any issues with the product. It does rely on the Logitech G Hub and I have ran into some issues with their software. The mouse has on the fly DPS settings to increase speed, a locking key to move from free spin to segmented zoom on mouse wheel. Each key is assignable with the G Hub. I have no complaints considering competitors to Logitech also have error prone device and RGB software.

Whilst it is heavier than some of the other Logitech Gaming mice due to having a replaceable rather than rechargeable battery, this mouse still manages to pack a ton of tech into a comfortable and effective package.True to Logitechs word, there is no noticeable lag or delay despite being completely wireless and I loved how the mouse has a safe spot under the battery cover for the wireless dongle to be kept if you are travelling with this mouse.Functionality wise, there are a plethora of buttons you can use to set macroscommands to so I think this mouse would be great for MMO and MOBA players wanting to do a lot of actions straight from their mouse. Finally as said in the title, the battery life of this product is amazing considering it runs on an AA battery. Pro Tip, buy some high quality rechargeable AAs and youve got yourself an absolute beastOnly negative I have is that this mouse is not designed for left handed gamers. This was fine for me being right handed but I would suggest left handed gamers explore other mice in the Logitech range.

This item may be good for gaming, but for general use and photo editing etc, it is very poor and difficult to use. Main issue is the very sensitive scroll wheel in free motion it seems to have a mind of its own. Some times there is a delay in scrolling. More often it scrolls super fast and then reverse scrolls.Very hard to actually get to screen area you want. Mouse is stationary so that doesnt appear to be the issue. Put the old MS mouse back and it is perfect. Logitech have half acknowledged there is an issue and set out some uninstall and reinstall procedures. Done all that and the problem persists. Quite frankly, if the mouse cannot operate as a normal mouse, its game over.

Got the mouse for 40 on sale… Adding my 30 best buy reward, the mouse is 10… It is a steal.Even without my reward, this mouse is still a strong contestant in 2021 for me. True, the mouse is heavy but it feels sturdy and comfy in my big hand 19mm x 11mm. Another plus is the mouse has so many customizable buttons. I need more buttons than I need the mouse to be light. Every button is customizable and can be saved into the onboard profile.

Love this mouse. Had a razer and it started crapping out on me. I wanted to go with the G502 Wireless but I always leave my mouse plugged in so I didnt want to spend the extra 100 for wireless. To my knowledge this mouse is the exact same as the wireless and its awesome. 5 buttons on the side allows for tons of hot keys, plus the wheel has a switch for free or locked which is awesome. And Logitech has some awesome software to program the mouse to your liking. Will definitely continue buying Logitechs accessories. They are the best in my opinion.

I am using the wireless Gaming Headset G930 with 7.1 surround and the G402 mouse with the Logitech Gaming Software. I wanted to upgrade to G502 mouse but found that the Logitech Gaming Software didnt support the G502 mouse, I installed the newer G Hub software for the mouse to work properly. Sadly, both software from Logitech cannot coexist and G Hub does not support the G930 Headset. Go figure. I liked the feel of the G502 Hero, except the wheel which had a switch for freerun and raster. It didnt feel like a great implementation and didnt feel precise or grippy. Internet forums are full of issues with G Hub software. A shame, I am going to buy another G402 and reinstall Logitech Gaming Software. Personally, I dont recommend this product.

Its a really good mouse, although I dont really make use of the G shift keys, I have found that the mouse has some serious drawbacks when mapping a modifier key to any one of the physical sub shift keys. and by serious drawbacks, I recall a situation where it caused me to immediately begin locking a Concord battleship which was instantaneous, followed by firing off all my ships guns on the test server on EVE… needless to say my mouse lost just as fast as when it started that fight. modifier keys key has a hit or miss by applicationgame in terms of working or doing something extra, but ctrl shift and alt mapped on their own will register in the games keymapping menu. but outside of that, will not or it might be that its being ignored.the 5 custom OMM profiles are cool, and the last profile used will be the one that runs at next plug in, as well as allowing for key switching of profiles, and the 4 speed poll options have a minimal impact to the computers resources, atleast I seems as if it uses part of its own onboard memory for smoothness and consistency as it transfers across the 3 meter long cord.its extremely durable and relatively rage proof so far as it continues to work just as good as it did brand new, although constantly in out plugging meant the velcro strap wore out quickly but getting a spare razer rubber strap over the connector without damage to either or was relatively easy and the original velcro strap can be used to suspend the wire.theres really only one defect and design flaw. the defect being the MMB has a tendency to trigger either when spinning, or even left in freespin, really really easily, just moving the mouse around will cause this, but spinlock when engaged remedies that. and the G9 button tucked away behind the spinlock button, as least for me in my experience is a very error prone button, either its pressed with or accidently inplace of the locker, or it is such a pain to press and avoid pressing which causes me plenty of trouble in and out of the action i just leave it unmapped.

I would give this a 4.5 in total. This is the first quality mouse Ive ever used, and I love it. I got a bit bogged down in the features initially, but that is mostly due to the Logitech driver program for the mouse, which spends too much time looking good and not enough energy being useful. But the mouse itself is fantastic.5 different profiles, that you can set for different programs. The dpi adjustment very cool, although if anyone can actually use 16k that is beyond me.The adjustable weights are key to a smooth feel.It really boils down to the little things, like the weighted mouse wheel. Its a great mouse.

On the whole, this is one of the most comfortable and well featured mice Ive ever used. At the price of 38 that I bought it at, its an immediate recommend. There are two issues I have with the mouse though that made me remove a star. The first is weight, as this is also one of the heaviest mice Ive ever used. This may come down to preference though as not everyone is bothered by this. The second issue, and this seems to be a universal complaint of everyone, is the scroll wheel. While infinite scroll is fantastic, the all metal design of the wheel makes it heavy and slippery, and a rubberized wheel would be much preferred. In addition to this, it seems like there may be a defect with some of these G502 SEs, as I have had multiple ones with highly sensitive side scroll buttons. So sensitive in fact that almost any attempt to hit the middle mouse button would result in the side scroll activating as well.Despite these faults, at the price I paid for it, I would recommend this mouse to almost anyone.

I had a G502 Proteus Core since launch so about 5 years old now and it is still going strong in the hands of my cousins 10yearold kid. My first HERO from NewEgg started double leftclicking badly. Contacted customer support and they walked me through some troubleshooting ideas. When those did not prove fruitful they sent me a new mouse. skipping any RMA process, so i didnt even have to send in the defective mouse Not that long after getting my new HERO from Logitech directly, it started double rightclicking. At this point, I checked their subreddit and saw that I wasnt alone and decided to go with another mouse brand. I did contact support again just to let them know there was a problem with this mouses switches as well and they were cordial about my desire to not pursue a replacement. Until this, I would have happily recommended Logitech products and have even bought a couple as gifts over the past halfdecade. My personal rating of 1 egg is for my experience. If you give it a try just keep Logitech support in mind if you do have any problems.

The good unless youre a pro gamer in which case you already have a developed taste for hardware, right this mouse will be just fine. It is well built and its ergonomic shape helps during long workplay hours. I got smaller hands and it fits just fine, still. Why mention pro gaming It is slightly heavier than your regular mouse these days. Im fine with it, but I can imagine it will take some people a bit of time to get used to it. And that only goes for fastpaced titles where you need to get used to it. In other scenarios it fits like a glove. At this point youre also probably getting a newer version with more flexible cable therefore putting argument from older reviews about it being stiff to bed.The soso part scroll wheel mount. Mouse is built well but the scroll wheel tends to rattle with rapid movements. It is especially annoying when infinite scroll is on. But dont worry, you really got to throw some serious rapid movement to get this rather unlikely in day to day scenarios.

Have owned 3. Every single one has worked flawlessly. While its still available I might buy another. First one given to a family member to game with, after I used it for years. Second one used to game an amazing amount of time. Third given to a second gaming family member. Maybe we need to get out more, but as a go to, multi functional, multi use mouse, it ticks alot of boxes.Braided cover on the wire is done very well, and has lasted many years, and never a dead battery.

This is my second g502. The first being the proteus. After receiving the mouse I noticed that the hero is lighter. The only issue I have is the spot right below the sensor the weight doesnt fit just right and if you move the mouse fast you can hear the weight rattle. Other than that its a great mouse that I would buy again and you should buy it to. Feels nice in my large hands and works well with my palm grip. I take one star away only because of the weight issue other than that its a 5 star mouse.

I am picky about my mice. I am on my third one. Third time is the charm. First started with a CORSAIR HARPOON RGB mouse. Returned it because of the battery life….maybe I was spoiled with Logitech lifespan in the past. Nothing was wrong with the mouse. Occasional lag. Second one was the budget Reddragon M607. Returned it because it felt too big in my hand. I could tell a difference in the performance of the Corsair and it. This one is right with or better than the Corsair on performance. Took a moment to get accustomed to all the buttons. I already had the G Hub software installed for my G923 so it picked up the mouse upon plug in. The software could be better on the customization of the mouse RGB lightning. I have not played a game yet to see how the macros works, but look pretty straight forward. I installed all the included weights and felt good to me.

This mouse is excellent, definitely up there with the best ones Ive owned and there have been a lot. It glides very smoothly with no resistance and the included weight set helps make the perfect feel and makes it adjustable should you wish to weight it for specific gamesThe ability to toggle between click and freespin on the wheel is really helpful, its got a great assortment of buttons that you are able to preset along with the sensitivity of the motion. The software is also quite good. With regards to the ergonomics, I found this very comfortable, although I have pretty small hands so this is definitely something to bear in mind if youre thinking about buying this mouse and have very large handsThe Gameplay help is pretty decent too, I had changed some of my settings at the same time so everything was still quite new, but from what Ive experienced so far, this is a decent mouse to play withPrecision and movement is decent and you can also calibrate the mouse to different surfaces apparently although this is something I havent tried yetAll in all, its a great mouse, but fairly expensive so might be worth waiting for it to come down in price prior to buying

This mouse is the one you think of when you want some serious gaming done. the ergonomics of it make it fit so naturally in your hand, requiring no weird finger stretches to reach the buttons. The 6 3.5gram removable weights allow for fine tuning the weight of your mouse to your preference. I personally prefer having all 21 grams on the mouse for a sturdy build feel. The long, braided nylon cable is easy to manage, including a velcro strap on the cable already. As a matter a fact the cable is so great that I managed to get to pull any excess cable slack back behind and under the desk to keep it clean. I love this mouse and it will be tough to beat.
Matt –
Definitely on the fence about this mouse. It works well and has weights in the box that allow for customization which is incredibly nice. But it overall feels on the cheaper end which youd expect for 50ish but not from Logitech. My main issue with this mouse is the scroll wheel. It has little to no resistance, meaning if you quickly scroll then move your mouse over to another screen, the wheel will still be scrolling and will move the other screen. A minor inconveinence, but it could easily be avoided with a little resistance and isnt seen in most other mouses.
DavidJr –
Mice are kind of like fancy gloves, you really need to try them on to see if they fit you right. The Logitech G502 Hero is one of those that you really need to put your hands on and give it a bit of your play style.I really like the space age look of this mouse and love the grip as the thumb rests on the mouse instead of the mousepad. But, I found myself bumping buttons when I didnt intend to and it might just be because of my lanky fingers. There are 11 programmable buttons, but with the click of one of the buttons you can change between profiles allowing you to program each of those buttons with other functions, or use gshift to only change when that combo is pushed. However, keep in mind the left and right mouse click and the scroll wheel clicks count in that. The highly adjustable DPI and the ability to shift that on the fly really gives a nice edge in gaming and image editing. I also enjoy the ability to add weights to help give you exactly the feel that you are looking for. Maybe you like it light, maybe heavy, but you can adjust it 3.6g at a time to find that balance. Another feature I never realized I wanted is the ability to unlock the scroll wheel for smooth spin. Like spinning the wheel on Wheel of Fortune at your fingertips, giving yourself an infinite scroll. The cord is also extra long and threaded giving a sturdy no kink feel to it.The Logitech Gaming Software, once downloaded from their site, allows you to program each of the buttons, adjust the DPI, change the lighting and other options. However, the software is part of the reason why Im dropping one star which I wish could be half. Its overly complicated when you just need it for a simple settings. The software is meant for pretty much all Logitech gaming hardware, which is good if you have other devices. It even links you to other gaming apps for specific games. Then when you click on the help link, it takes you to a 130 page document that puts a lot of that hardware in the same place if that is any indication of too much in one place. Its not that I hate the software, just that I felt like I spent way too long trying to get what I wanted and all this other stuff was just in the way.If you are looking for a highly programmable, comfortable, and customizable mouse, the Logitech G502 Hero is certainly worth giving it a go.

I was looking for a shortterm replacement for my G500 and this was the closest to it I could find. I have used it exclusively from the day I purchased it. I have fixed my G500 but have chosen to stay with the G502 as the mouse pad I have never really played well with the laser. I dont think I will ever give up my G500 and now the G502. I have wasted 500 plus on other mice that never really work well or just dont last that long. The weight placement can be tweaked for the right feel, foot, or head weight and how heavy it is.
Adam –
I really enjoy this mouse and wish it would function properly. The right mouse button stops registering my button press intermittently. I play games and obviously the causes problems for the quality of my experience.I have spent about 8 hours now trying to identify the issue and a solution. Ive tried 15 solutions ranging from uninstallingreinstalling software games, software, drivers, changing settings in game, on PC, and testing these on other PCs. None of these fixed my issue. The mouse itself is great, but ultimately after almost 2 years I cannot use because it has stopped functioning properly. For what I paid, I expect a much longer use on a mouse.
Shane –
Ive had this mouse for a few days now. I came from the Razer Deathadder Elite so my comparison will be based mostly on using that mouse for the last couple years. My biggest complaint with this mouse is how tiny it is compared to the Deathadder. Its my fault for getting this mouse even though I tested both out side by side in the store and knew it was uncomfortably smaller. It is SIGNIFICANTLY smaller than the Razer so if you like the size of that mouse and have larger hands, this will be difficult to comfortably grip. This is a huge detriment as my hand has room to move around the mouse and not fall back into place where I would expect it to. Its something that will come with muscle memory, but the size of the mouse and the size and location of the side buttons that Ive grown extremely accustomed to on the Deathadder, combined with the integral usage ingame of those buttons makes the adjustment fairly frustrating. My second complaint, again, my fault because I knew what I was getting into, is how much heavier it is. With no weights in, it is still much heavier than the Deathadder. I used to use the G9, which is heavier than this, but years of using the lighter Deathadder will require some getting used to with the added weight, not even counting the optional weights. My third, and only real complaint, is the scroll wheel, which Ive taken the one star off for. Theres a lot of play in the wheel, coupled with the fact that its metal there is a noticeable rattle when you move it and it is fairly distracting and also makes it difficult to click if you use that often such as in a game. I actually just folded up 2 tiny pieces of paper on either side to fix it mostly and I reprogrammed the DPI shift side button to be mouse middle and Im starting to like that better now.My next concern I call it that because I dont really know if it makes an actual difference ingame, but it is something I do notice because Im looking for it is the lack of adjustment of lift off distance. Razer makes is really easy to adjust this setting, Logitech doesnt have this option. The Hero sensor, however, automatically calibrates to your surface but Im not sure if that takes LOD into account. The sensor itself is phenomenal though as you would expect from any gaming grade mouse today. Doesnt really set it apart, but hey, its there. Does anyone actually use it up to 16kNow, on to the reason why I overlooked all of these and still ended up buying this mouse. I dropped my Deathadder and the left click plastic popped out of the case and ended up bending the plastic enough that there was a noticeable gap between where the button was pushed and the switch was activated, making that button spongy and unreliable for multiple consistent button presses and releases at full speed clicking in game. The G502 was highly recommended from a lot of my friends so I decided to do give it a look. I inspected the left click of the Deathadder on display and I noticed it actually wasnt that much different from mine that had popped out of place. The G502 has almost no play between finger press to button actuation to bottoming out the button and resetting. This alone is why I bought the G502. I am getting used to the size and will eventually get used weight and relearn the button locations, but having that minimal gap in the left click is key.So to wrap this up, if you like smaller, heavier mice, and you can look past the things Ive stated above then this mouse is a no brainer. If, however, you think anything Ive said would be an issue to you as well, Id look for something else or learn to love this mouse. If you can get your hands on one, Id definitely recommend doing so.

The Logitech G604 reviewed came in matte black, with a grippy rubber feel all round. I liked this material as it prevented slipping and helped ensure my hand stayed locked in position the entire time, gaming and when used as a regular office mouse.Logitech have done a fantastic job of making the G604 look attractive. The dark pallette and anodised gunmetal scroll wheel give it a stealthy look that should prove popular among gamers. In addition to great aesthetics, ergonomically the G604 is flawless. There are multiple features that Logitech have nailed to make this mouse great to hold. With a thumb rest on the interior portion of the mouse, along with a high arching palm rest, the G604 naturally sculpts to the shape of your hand, making the mouse very quick to get used to and a pleasure to use.Above the thumb rest, a stacked row of 6 macro buttons are positioned in a curved fashion designed to be easily reachable. These buttons can be programmed via software in Logitechs excellent GHUB suite. Not only is this feature useful for gamers, but also for anyone using the G604 for programming or artistic aftereffects work.By far the best aspect of the G604 has to be the speedadaptive scroll wheel. At the click of a button specifically the button just below the scroll wheel, you can switch between two scroll modes staggered and hyperfast.Staggered modes works like a regular mouse, allowing precise but slower scrolling. Hyperfast mode, disables the staggered click of the wheel, allowing it to turn smoothly and freely. Using this mode, navigating from top to bottom of a long page takes no time at all. As a programmer I cannot stress enough how useful this feature is when faced with scrolling through pages of code, sometimes many thousands of lines in length. With up to 16000 DPI, Logitechs 16K HERO sensor provides amazing accuracy, and for the 3 days under test, I havent witnessed any lag, only a smooth and pleasant experience. This is most notable when gaming, where many turn to wired mice for low latency. From testing I cannot notice any difference in latency between the G604 and my usual wired gaming mouse.Despite all these highend features, the G604 gives a battery life of over 240 hours when using LIGHTSPEED Wireless and up to 5.5 months when using Bluetooth. The different connection modes can be toggled between by clicking the button just below the speedadaptive scroll button. This long battery life, despite which mode used, is up there with the longest battery life I know for a highend gaming mouse such as this. The only disappointing feature of the G604 is its lack of rechargeable battery, however it only requires 1xAA cell to achieve the above battery life which is rather impressive. I suppose at 85, the G604 is at the lower to mid level in terms of highend gaming mice, so some concessions have to be made by Logitech.Setup of the mouse was easy, with plugging in a USB receiver and toggling the power button on the underside of the mouse to blue being all that was required to establish a connection within a second or two.If you want to take advantage of the G604 support for customization, download the Logitech GHUB software platform available for Windows and Mac OS. The package allows the user to have different configured modes for different use cases. For example, you can have multiple profiles for each game in your Steam collection. These profiles can be tweaked to have different userselected configurations like sensitivity, scroll wheel modes and applying a different set of macro functions on a pergame basis. This proved really useful when switching between using the macro keys to autocreate a protective tower around me when under fire in Fortnite and back to CSGO where I like to have macro keys assigned for throwing grenades and switching weapons. I feel like the macro keys are best utilised in fastpaced shooters and MMOs any scenario in which an advantage is had in having functionality right at your thumbs instead of having to stretch to input a sequence of keys on the keyboard.Despite being dubbed as a gaming mouse, I found plenty of use in the G604 as a regular office mouse and for me, as a programming mouse customizable macros that are easily accessible from the thumb proved very handy and I have no doubt it increased productivity. The versatility of the G604 is understated.Should you buy the Logitech G604The Logitech G604 is in my opinion, one of the best highend mice available at this price point. The abundance of features and attention to detail Logitech have put into building this mouse is stunning. All whilst providing a fantastic battery life and a level of customization that rivals any highend mouse available today. However, its biggest selling point is versatility. I think the G604 is perfect for anyone who wants a good looking, allrounder that excels in a wide range of usecases everything from the office grind to the Sunday night gaming meetup.

Logitech is a brand of electronics I consistently gravitate to and it is among those I feel confident recommending to others. And this Logitech G502 HERO Gaming Mouse is most assuredly worth considering if you are a gamer.By downloading Logitechs Gaming Software, you can customize 11 programmable buttons for more personalized control, to fit whatever types of games you play. You are also able to assign fun lighting to your mouse. Included with this Logitech G502 HERO Gaming Mouse are five weights which you can use to adjust the weight, balance and overall feel of the mouse to fit your own personal preference and play style. The outer surface of the mouse itself was a nice matte finish, making for a pleasant tactile feel when cradled in my hand, and giving me a more secure grip during gameplay. Along with the righthanded thumb rest being more of a rubberized pebbled texture. Another notable feature was the attached usb cord. As with many of the better computer mice out there, the G502 HEROs cord is a kind of woven thread, providing for a seemingly stronger cord, less likely to bend or kink over time.Moving the mouse around, both on a mousepad and without one, during normal use with my laptop, as well as, during extensive gaming sessions, proved to be a precision, lagfree experience. And the scroll wheel turned as smooth as silk. So impressiveThe size of this gaming mouse, however, was a bit too large to comfortably fit my smaller hand. Please keep this in mind, and if you are thinking to get this particular mouse, it would be beneficial to test it out instore beforehand, if possible.Just as an aside Something Im finding with more and more products, most specifically, electronics, is the tendency to not include much in the way of printed instructions as with this item. While encouraging consumers to go directly to whatever companys website and their support page, having to research basic info right from the getgo, sorta rubs me the wrong way. However, that being said, having access to this online material is definitely a helpful resource. And Logitechs product information and support guides, are easy to navigate and useful for finding the support you need. All in all, I can certainly recommend this Logitech G502 HERO Gaming Mouse for any and all gamers, no matter the game youre playing. The cost of this mouse is certainly worth what youre getting, comparable to similar gaming mice in the same price range from other wellknown brands.

I liked the feel of it, shapewise it was a comfortable grip. And I loved the scrolling wheel and all the configurable buttons. But two drawbacks were insurmountable for me, and I returned it.The first was its weight. Its heavy, and at first I didnt think it would matter. But over time it was clear that this was a drawback compared to other gaming mice.Second, I just found that the left and right mouse buttons were far too sensitive and far too easy to actuate. The slightest, most minute pressure would cause a click. I found myself accidentally clicking way too often, when I was simply hoveringresting my finger on the button as I would do with any other mouse. And the cherry on top is that there was no satisfying tactile feedback from the click, either. In the end I went with a competitors mouse just out of personal preference.

Got this on sale and have loved it ever since. I usually go with razer mice but wanted something to play mouse and keyboard on modern warfare with my ps4 so I grabbed this and since I had been on controller for so long I definitely lost some of my KB motor skills so having a bunch of mappable buttonsuse a PC and assign the buttons to keyboard keys helped get me back up to par very quickly. Also having the dpi sniper switch to lower dpi when you hold it was a nice little extra but I ended up switching it to my mount key. Overall I love this mouse and am still using it with my brand new PC build. Also the logitech software is awesome and lets you download profiles other people have made for every aspect of this mouse. You can even make macros on the software which is cool.

Not really sure where all these 5 star reviews came from or why this Mouse is a best seller. First off.. the form factor is unnecessarily cluttered with hard edges, oddly shaped buttons Why and a design that clearly favors righties only. To be fair and to get past the initial change from my old Corsair mouse Ive been using this replacement for a couple of weeks now. Time has not improved my perceptions of this Mouse.I still struggle to find what should be the easiest and most ergonomic of ANY button on this thing, that being the left mouse button. About 25 of the time my fingers cant feel where this button is without looking at how Im holding the mouse and reposition my fingers. Really stupid. Also, the placement of the additional buttons literally do nothing more than get in the way and are prone to accidental clicking, especially the resolution change button that ends up getting clicked at least several times a day which sends the mouse cursor flying across the screen.I will say on the plus side, I do like the weight. However, the overall size seems small. Im about 59 and weigh 185. Im not a huge person, but this feels really small in my hands. Now the worst part, others have mentioned, the mouse wheel is absolutely abysmal, there is absolutely no texture on the wheel whatsoever and spinning it is an exercise in frustration. How are they still manufacturing this thing when the plastic is so rock hard your finger slides over the wheel without actually having it turn. If you click the wheel release button so that the wheel is free spinning, the performance does not improve much. While you might be able to spin it like the prize wheel on the Price is Right, the sensitivity is so light that you scroll when you dont intend to simply by moving the mouse around or accidentally bumping the wheel. There is no happy medium here. This mouse is ready for the hardware graveyard. Logitech is clearly capable of better efforts than this thing, why are they still manufacturing itDo yourself a favor and find a symmetrical mouse with less eye candy, goofy buttons and a mouse wheel that actually moves when you try to spin it.

Totally NOT worth the price. Received mouse on July 21 and broken by Thanksgiving. Worst mouse I have ever had, also the most expensive mouse I have ever had. Buyer be warePurchased this mouse based on recommendations from a gaming buddy. When I told him about the problems I am having he just said that he has had the same issues, but to a lesser degree.Yes it looks cool. However, even with all of the weights attached to the mouse it slides much to easily on my Hyper mouse pad.The left button does not work correctly. Cannot drag anything or copy items as it will not hold onto the item. Also, just one click results in multiple clicks. As you can imagine, this is very annoying, frustrating and a waste of time.

I originally had the LG G502 Proteus gaming mouse which I LOVE. Its the best gaming mouse I have ever owned and the upgraded G502 Hero is no different. I love the changeable weight system and how it glides across the mouse pad so smoothly. The only reason it did not get 5 stars is because the DPI Shift button that you press and hold for precision when playing FPS games or other is positioned a little farther forward than my grip so it can be difficult to press when needed which isnt all that often. The many DPI settings and fine tuning capabilities are fantastic. I thoroughly enjoy the button customization as well as the ability to create macros for different purposes. It is a well rounded gaming mouse that doesnt break the bank. I would highly recommend it

I purchased this mouse after my old one died, and the USB cord would disconnect at the slightest disturbance, quite literally breathing on it too hard would disconnect it sometimes. When it wasnt randomly disconnecting Via USB the Utility engine would either mess up requiring a restart of it, or it would just not detect movement on my mousepad. after going through the warranty process another shows up with the same. exact. problem. I have no intention of purchasing or using another Logitech product because this incident has given me the perfect view of their quality control.10010 would not recommend this brand

The G502 HERO mouse seriously is a HERO, it is honestly bursting with cutting edge, state of the art featuresSo, where to begin…The ergonomic design of this mouse is lovely, it feels so good in your hand, really comfortable, with all the buttons we will discuss those in a bit close at hand, no pun intended. The attention to detail is great too, down to the rubberised side grips which feel very comfortable. On an older mouse I had, it came with an adjustable scroll wheel, which I gre to absolutely love, so knowing the G502 HERO had this feature too, was a massive bonus however, they have tuned this up a notch with a metal wheel, very cool, and so smooth. The adjustable wheel means there is a button on the top of the mouse which changes the scroll from a precision click wheel, to a smooth infinite scroll, great for scrolling through masses of pages in a document, or large pages on a website. The thing I love about this mouse is that, yes, it has great features for gaming, it is also great for everyday use too.Moving on to the other features you have 11 programmable buttons, which you can set to the exact task you wish, be it in game or programming macros. You can also use the G Hub software to program the mouse.Talking of the G HUB, you can use the software to program every aspect of your mouse, to customise it to exactly what you want, such as changing the DPI precision. Now, this isnt something I thought of before, but you really do notice the difference in changing this. So basically, the mouse is capable of up to 16,000 DPI, and you can program 3 different DPIs, and with the press of a button on the side of the mouse you can change between them meaning you can have pinpoint accuracy for the games you love, but also have lower DPI for everyday things like working on documents etc.Other features I hadnt thought of until having the G502 HERO, is the weights…yes, weights…in a mouse The G502 HERO comes with 5 weights, positioned in the bottom of the mouse, so you can remove or add them at will, on the left, right, back and centre. Its not until I started playing around with different combinations and locations of the weights that I found it really does make a difference to the movability and comfort of the whole experience of using the mouse…I urge you to have a play around with it tooOne other feature that is worth mentioning is the customisable colour of the mouse, they call it LIGHTSYNC this enables you to use up to 16.8 million colours to customise and sync your light colours across all other Grange products this is all programmable in the G Hub software.Oh, one last thing to mention, which I think can divide some people is that the mouse is WIRED, not wireless With a gaming mouse I see this as a good thing, because the signal can travel a lot faster down a cable that it can through bluetooth or any other wireless signal it may be a matter of opinion, but that is mine So, rounding off, this mouse is a serious contender in the world of gaming. So many features, so little time to mention them all. I really dont think there is any reason to be disappointed with this mouse.

This mouse is the perfect size for my probably smallerthanaverage hand. I never feel like I am not able to access any part of the mouse at all times. The included weights allow you to adjust the weight of the mouse, which is an awesome feature. Also, the software that comes with the mouse allows you to customize the DPI to many varying degrees, as well as the RGB lights in the mouse itself. There are a few extra buttons on the side of the mouse that are perfect for playing games and mapping certain hard to reach keys to.Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my purchase and would not hesitate to recommend this mouse to someone

When working found it one of the best gaming mice in terms of accuracy and feel. After about 9 months of using it the left mouse button would randomly stop working. I have used only logitech products for the better part of the last 10 years and it seems the quality and quality control has went down hill in the past few years. I have had 3 different logitech products fail with in the past 2 years and from what i am seeing so far the warranty is useless, make it hard to find and submit a warranty and try to make you jump through hoops with bots, poor communication, and no direct reply. Done with logitech will start using a different company from now on.

Ive had the gen 1 version of the g502 for years, served me well through middle and high school. It finally gave out after the mouse buttons became completely unusuable. This version is faithful to the design, although the logo changed and RGB got added. Its still the same mouse to me and the new weights are easier to take out than before. The sensor still performs just as well as the old 3366 and the buttons are nice and responsive. The scroll wheel has a nice matte finish though I wish they would add a small strip of rubber down the middle like on the g903s scroll wheel. Still one of the best mice ever created and I will happily continue using these mice.

Great item, nice features. Make sure to unplug and clean the bottom and top with anti static cleaner every week and this will last a long time.Software being bad keeps this rating low.If you can find the old software, install it, program the mouse, then close and uninstall the software…this method works best.Logitech G hub is just terrible software, as it removes button remapping and granular macro programming.Hope they do better in the future.

All in all Im very satisfied. This is my first real gaming mouse and the improvement over the Logitech M500 I used for years is quite noticeable, both in term of ergonomics and precision. The DPI mouse sensitivity can be adjusted on the fly via buttons on the mouse or switching through 5 customizable profiles saved on the mouse itself.I like the aesthetics of the device a lot and with the RGB set to red matches perfectly my HyperX FPS keyboard for a clean but aggressive battlestation.I have been a bit disappointed by the new G Hub software. I havent been able to install it on my work notebook because of a problem with the outgoing proxy certificate but also the software itself is not that great and intuitive. For example it isnt so straightforward to edit the profiles stored on the mouse because the prominent feature is the mouse adjusting its profile automatically according to the game being played and this doesnt work in conjunction with the stored profiles, but requires the configurations to be saved on the PC. I personally like to switch through the profiles mid game and I use multiple machines, so having them in sync is a big plus.A the end I switched to the old Logitech Gaming Software.Another thing has been really disappointing. In the picture you clearly see a nice braided cable, while the mouse that gets delivered has a regular rubber cable.

This fan favorite mouse has been around quite a while now, with the price near the lowest it has ever been. For me this mouse met a lot of the criteria I wanted at the price I wanted.Negatives Logitechs G Hub software leaves a lot to be desired. Some of the buttons dont feel all that great in quality particularly the G5 button has a weird rattle on mine. I wish it were slightly larger for my XL sized hands I find myself sliding my hand down the mouse to get my thumb lined up correctly on the buttons, which makes it rather uncomfortable after long sessions. Its pretty easy to accidentally hit the G7 and G8 buttons. Wired.Pros The braided cable is 7feet long and very flexible. The unlockable scroll wheel feels great. There are tuning weights included admittedly I do not use them. The bottom slides really smoothly across the surface. There are many buttons that can be programmed how you like. Aesthetically it looks terrific. Has RGB that can be customized in the G Hub software. Price is a very compelling offer. Wired.

I have three of these currently. Im very particular about mice. This one checks a couple of different boxes for me. 1 weight I like a heavy mouse and this one has removable weights so you can have it as heavy or light as you want it. 2 feels good in palm, substantial, I play online shooters and mmos and it has plenty of buttons that are distinctive enough to the touch that muscle memory is easy to gain. 3 you can have multiple profiles with the Logitech software and it seamlessly switches DPI and keybinds based on what program you are currently running. Software is easy to use.
cleigh –
This is my first time using a gaming mouse, and the Logitech G502 Hero Gaming Mouse does not disappoint Ive started out by using all of the included weights, to give it a heavy feel. However, even with the weight it moves very nicely over my admittedly worn mousepad. I was having difficulties with my prior mouse losing movements none of that with this mouse All the movements are quick and accurate, and DPI rating on this mouse is insane I enjoy having a button to change the style of the scroll wheel from smoothly gliding down a page to precise mechanical clicks as I scroll. I had a nice surprise when I was playing IRacing as well, when I saw the G logo on the top change its LED color with my shifting patterns, mimicing the tachometer. Not necessary, but neat nonetheless Im incredibly happy with this mouse, its precision, and the overall feel of how it works.

Fantastic mouse. I bought and returned two other mice to give them a shot because this one was out of stock before finally just buying the one I wanted to begin with.Main reason I wanted this one was the button to lockunlock the scrolling wheel. Yes, the other big name brands have extra buttons that you can program to scroll up and down quickly, but so does this one, along with the lock button itself. The software takes just a little bit to get used to, but it works very well.I have zero complaints about mouse.

Great for firsttime gamers or entrylevel gamers.Build quality is solid it feels a little too plasticy, but it comes with some metal to help weigh it down so its more precise as it slides across the desk. Additionally, the buttons are intuitive and easy to use, and the mouses sensitivity has a huge range for every kind of user.I dont like how the buttons cant be customized theres buttons that act as backforward buttons while youre browsing the web and I find them easy to trigger. It happened while writing this review and I had to retype the whole thing, ha ha.I do, however, love that theres a switch for the scroll wheel for people that want it to make noise or be silent. Very cool.
sportsfan2123 –
Out of the box, this mouse feels good and is ready to use the full suite of features, though, arent available to you until you go to the Logitech website and install the full device software executable. That allows for the full RGB color changing, extra button action selection, and a method of altering the DPI stages for the mouse.I wish that the software installed on its own, but the extra step is easy to do with most internet connections and unlocks the full potential of this mouse. I dont use the weights for the plate on the underside of the mouse, but I know some also like those and there are enough at your disposal.

I love this mouse. It took some time to get used to it at first due to not ever using a mouse with this many options. I love all the buttons and get plenty of use out of it.My only complaint is that barely 34 months after I bought the mouse, it started registering extra clicks. I noticed it especially when playing a game because it was interfering horribly. I tried updating the mouse and changing the software I used which made things worse because it messed up my ability to use the extra buttons when mapped while in a game. I used some canned air to try dusting underneath the main 2 buttons and it didnt help right away, but eventually, I did notice the issue was basically gone. I felt that was too fast to be having issues like that, but otherwise, fantastic mouse, love it.

Great amount of functionality for the price, weights offer a minor amount of customizability in the feel of the mouse, but are quite light so wont change too much, but can be placed in different positions in the mouse i.e. on the left side of the mouse if your hand tends to tilt the mouse to the right when lifting it. Personally I believe the strength of the mouse lies in its programmability and the ergonomics of its shape and button placement. DPI, Macros, Commands, and System Controls can all be allocated to including left right click, and the scroll wheel which also has horizontal movement, and a modifier function called Gshift to allow more customization. Also features profiles which can be configured to different games and autoswitch to them when the game is launched. With Ghub running, the profile will automatically switch back to your default desktop profile when tabbing out of a game, and then back to that games profile when tabbing back in, making the overall experience very consistent as you dont have to use your desktop with say an extremely high DPI. Overall, a wonderful mouse to game with and use daily, absolutely 100 worth the price for what youre getting, and a solid must buy for anyone looking for a gaming mouse thatll last you for years to come.

The GHub desktop application will really let you figure out how to set up this mouse. It has great compatibility with Xbox, and your saved profiles from using GHub will carry over. Its smooth, the adjustable weights give it good customizable balance, and appears well built. Im not the worlds biggest fan of the DPI switchit can get accidentally actuated a lot as youre getting used to the mouse, however Ive got more accustomed to it after several hours of gameplay.I wish they included more tutorial information in the box, however you can find all of that information online through Logitech and the GHub app.For 50, this mouse will be a great buy for anyone looking to get started. I have used a few 2030 amazon mice, and for a few extra dollars this is superior in every way.

It took me a while to find something sized just right. Im about 64 so to find something comfortable and easy to use takes some time. Glad I bought the mouse and I put all of the weights in it for it to be alittle on the heavy side my preference the cord is long, durable, and even has a Velcro strap to wrap up the excess. The scroll wheel is pretty cool with a click of a button located next to it you can switch from a normal clicking rotation to a free running wheel. Love how there are additional buttons on the side but however I think there is one unnecessary button and thats to change the color of the logo on the mouse…. I think its silly but to some it may be cool There is one other button that will slow down the sensitivity as long as you hold it great for a zoomed in sniper shot or other first person shooters Long story short works great Just buy it thanks for reading my review

I needed a programmable mouse where all buttons could be programmed. Most mice do not allow you to program the sniper button allows you to lower dpi quickly the hero does and then someThe price was right at 50 off retail.I prefer wider mice for my hand but after many games I dont notice the smaller size. They have g hub software you must t download to program the buttons. I suggest you do this, but save all your profiles offline, meaning on the memory device of the mouse. This will fix a lot of profile switching issues.I like the dpi buttons left of the left click, i programmed them for basic attacking and now i can stutter step with ease.Have fun gaming.

I have been using m65 corsair for 5 year and decide for the new mice. I did a lot of research and found the G502 hero Logitech. First so far, I like the shape, it is perfect for my hand size. But after 3 months, the mice had the issued on right click. I could not use right click as ADS Aim down Sight for playing FPS game. I reach out for support but nothing can help. Finally, I did warranty claim, I got contact by support team but it is over month since my first email with them. I did not get any information what happen to my warranty claim.

SETUPThe setup of the G502 Hero Gaming Mouse is fast and simple. Out of the box it is plug and play, meaning it works simply by connecting it. Its true power lies, however, in downloading the software from the website it suggests.FEATURESThe key feature of this mouse is that you can program up to 11 buttons and determine how heavy or light it feels based on actual weights you can add or remove to the mouse itself. Additionally, if you have other Logitech devices, like the Logitech G513 keyboard, it can sync up to it for lighting effects. It also includes a shift button that can toggle other features temporarily until you let go. This is perfect for snipers who have a high DPI set for close encounters but need the extra precision on the fly.PERFORMANCEThe performance of this mouse is accurate and on point. After downloading the software, you can customize the DPI to your liking. It comes with 4 presets, which you can modify, or you can add additional presets and customize those, perfect for computers that must go from work mode to gaming mode in seconds. The software is easy to understand and the 11 programmable buttons are clearly identified for you on the software so you know which button you are modifying. It even allows you to download existing game profiles that are recommended, like Overwatch, PUBG, Call of Duty, and many others.EXPECTATIONSThe product meets my expectations. I have owned well over 5 gaming mice in my gaming life time, but this is the first gaming mouse I own that features added weight. It makes a difference. I initially played several rounds of Overwatch and PUBG without the weights. Then, I added all 3.6g weights 18 grams total and tested the mouse again. To me, the added weight gave me more security of when I wanted to stop the mouse instead of overshooting where I intended to aim. That, together with the quick DPI makes for one amazing onthefly customizable beast of a mouse.VALUEThe price for this mouse is a steal compared to other mice in its class, as the 11 buttons are well placed together where everything is accessible in logically easy to reach locations.APPROVALI highly recommend this gaming mouse to gamers ready to step their game up another level. If you are a first person shooter gamer, look no further than this mouse to help you achieve more victories.

Introducing the worlds most comfortable gaming mouse, the Logitech G604. The latest edition of the G6 series has had an ultra ergonomic makeover which I think makes it probably the most comfortable serious gaming mouse on the market. It is incredibly easy to grip which lends itself perfectly for both precision aim and minimising gaming fatigue. My favourite feature of this mouse is the floorless engineering of the scroll wheel with infinity scroll feature which is great for web browsing, the tactile heavy duty notched wheel provides maximum in game satisfaction. There is a wide array of buttons allowing quick inventory selection. The 16000 dpi sensor ensures flawless tracking and responds perfectly smoothly to every movement, this sits above slightly raised feet which is really clever innovation from Logitech protecting the mouse from drag caused by minor wear.As with many Logitech products This mouse uses light speed wireless technology which is absolutely bulletproof. It is the only truly reliable wireless technology that I have experienced and is the reason that I only use Logitech for competitive PC gaming. A feature that certainly differentiates the G604 from other gaming mouse of its class is the power source, the utilisation of a single AA battery to achieve and impressive 240 hours of use. I really like this as I have experienced problems with rechargeable battery degradation and as a regular traveller find it more convenient than an additional thing to carry or recharge.Overall I think the G604 is a really attractive product with impressive features offering great value and I would certainly recommend it.

So this mouse has become my go to mouse. Ive tried other brands but this mouse has two things others dont. Weight size. I personally like a heavy mouse, and with all the weights installed, its perfect. I prefer it also cause I have a tendency to lift my mouse off my desk and this gives me some resistance in doing that. The size is perfect as I have bigger hands. I subtracted a star as like most of the other mice Ive gone through, the clickers with intense gaming stop working. The plastic under the clicks snap and it double clicks like crazy. This mouse does it less but it has too many pros including price 49.99 in the US that I just buy another one. Recommended.

This is hands down one of the most comfortable, precise and sleek mice Ive ever used. Loved it so much, I went and bought another one for my PC at work.Scalable DPI options with quick keys for manipulating this on the fly. Configurable buttons so if you want to change up your setup, you can. Thumb lip is subtle giving just enough real estate to rest your thumb without it feeling like it was overdone. Scroll wheel has two settings which can be toggled with the click of a button. On setting 1, the wheel is loose and can spin for eternity, on setting 2, the wheel is tightened and you less free spin, for tighter, more controlled scrolling. Each option is awesome and I frequently find myself switching back and forth for different needs. Fairly light, but not feather weight light. Also comes with weights for adjusting if so desired.

I genuinely like this mouse. My issue is with the components inside. I RMAd this mouse because the right click did not function properly due to the cheap Omeron switched inside. This is a known issue. I got a replacement from Logitech except this new one has the same issue. I have the same exact issue with the new replacement 6 months latter. I Love the design and the weight of the mouse it feels amazing and loved its performance. But having to replace this mouse every six months This is a pure shame. There is no fix this and This is a known well documented issue online. Many have gone a far a voiding the warrenty and replaced the switches with better ones.

First and most likely my last mouse. This is a great mouse for the price. Especially if it is on sale. The scroll wheel has two settings. A super smooth and a more precise hard but traditional mouse feel. It comes with weights if you want to lift while you are gaming. The Logitech G HUB gives you a wide array of customization features to set for your mouse. The only grievance I have is the scroll wheel. I like to have it in the smooth setting, but everytime you flick the mouse, the wheel is budging slightly. The only concern would be reliability.

Pros Looks great, side scrolling, comfortable and accurateCons The Ghub software is rubbish, especially for game interactivity, I reverted to the previous logitech mouse software which came with my original mx master years back. Also, the mouse is too heavy. It comes with weights, but theyre never gonna get used. It would have been better to take 20g off the weight of the mouse and include the weights for those looking for a slightly heavier feel, but as it stands youd need to get in the hand gym, to be strong enough to make any use of the extra weights. Overall though its a really good mouse, for any but the elite gamers out there, its a good buy.

On the second day of owning it the m6 button stopped working button where your thumb is which is fine everything hiccups every now and then so I did all of the basic fixes such as replugging it in, turn computer off and on, reinstall drivers and software, etc etc. None of it worked. So I looked to see what other people did and none of their fixes worked. So I looked at Logitechs support forum and nothing worked. So I looked through FAQ spec page of all of their products for something which was terrible and nothing there worked in fact all of what the support did was make my computer go from seeing the mouse to Hid complainant mouse and the app Logitech wants you to download with it was absolutely terrible, it couldnt even recogize the mouse before tech support make it look like a generic one and it was so user unfriendly I couldnt even really do anything on it anyways. If it worked it would be a decent buy, the softwaretroubleshooting is the only thing I can gripe about, the quality is decent, it has a smooth scrolling option that is nice when youre going down long pages or lists, fits my hand decently, has weights and easy way to adjust DPI, but it doesnt work properly, and given that I found others having my issue from years ago also saying how buggy and bad the app is and its still here, from Logitech no less is really not encouraging a repeat customer and Id go out on a limb if youre going out of your way to get extra buttonssoftware, you want to use those things and not just buy a 9 dollar actually generic mouse.

This mouse is the G502 Hero Gaming Mouse wired. I previously owned the G500 mouse which I have repaired the wire twice to keep it alive. I wanted to invest in a decent mouse and this mouse is well price for the quality. The packaging is nice, and comes with the mouse, weights, guides, and a LogitechG sticker. The mouse as a nice standard black, having noticeable features RGB lighting, magnetic bottom cover for weights, and a nice weighty scroll wheel. I noticed there were fingerprints on the weights when I opened it, so perhaps it was a minimally used mouse The weights come in a sleek haxagonal plastic container. Each weight is 3.6g each 5 total, which can be inserted inside the mouse. Overall, its a good mouse if you have big hands. I have biglong thumbs and found the G500 series to be perfect. Another bonus feature is the button to unlock the wheel spin, which is great for programming or perhaps other tasks that require massive scrolling speed. The weighty metal wheel is a huge bonus for me.Just like the other logitechG products, the RGB is programmable through the Logitech G Hub. The mouse buttons can be programmed commands, key, actions, macros, and system. There are two buttons on the mouse to change the DPI speeds fasterslower, and a button called DPI shift to change the speed to a specific DPI I am assuming this is used to aim more precisely in FPS. You can assign up to 5 DPI speeds not sure why they dont allow more. The mouse reports are 1000500250125 per second. The firmware update was strange, in which it specified to not uplug the mouse, but will not update the mouse. You have to first uplug the mouse, start the firmware update, and then plug it back in. If the mouse starts blinking red, you know it is updating.Below are the specifications dualmode hyperfast scroll wheel onboard memory approximately 16.8m color RGB lighting sensor HERO Resolution 100 16,000 DPI Max. acceleration 40G2 Max speed 400 IPS2 Zero smoothingaccelerationfiltering USB report rate 1000 Hz 1ms Microprocessor 32bit ARM Height 132mm Width 75mm Depth 40mm Weight 121g excluding cable.

Before getting my hands on this noise I had never owned a proper gaming mouse, having always dismissed them as not worth the upgrade form a regular mouse.Having used this mouse for a couple of weeks I can safely say I was wrong. This mouse is very simple to set up just plug in to a Windows PC and youre ready to go. The first thing I noticed when using it was the level of comfort from the well designed ergonomics. The noise sits beautifully on your hand without the strain on the middle of the palm you experience with cheaper or smaller models. The noise is extremely responsive and very smooth on various surfaces. It has an excellent level of sensitivity and feels very responsive to small movements which is ideal for gaming. The option to customise the mouse weight is very useful depending on preference. I have found adding a couple of the weights works best for me.Overall I would highly recommend this mouse to others. It is very high quality and pleasing both in use and design.

Between working on very detailoriented design work and playing games, I have become very picky over time about wired vs wireless mice. One little second that a wireless mouse loses connection can create more work for me so first, I have. To have a wired mouse. Then we get this baby. This is my second time purchasing this exact Ouse because my old one got passed down to my kid, and I bought my husband one too. Qddrelive weights until you have that perfect movement. ProsI really like the mouse, it fits my hand very well, the thumb rest on the left is a nice touch as for fine mouse movements I use the tips of my fingers on the right side of the mouse. The scroll wheel lockunlock comes in handy frequently. The DPS adjustment is great for fine tuning when switching between general computer use, CAD, and gaming.ConsI bought the mouse in December 2019, and 12 months later in December 2020 my left mouse button started registering double clicks when I clicked once, registering a click and hold as a click and release, and other weird things. Fortunately Logitech has a 2 year warranty, and over the 3 week process of submitting the warranty claim I was shipped a new one, but with how frequent this issue comes up in reviews it shouldnt be happening. I used a 20 microsoft wireless mouse for over 10 years with no problems, its crazy to me that a 5080 depending on promotions mouse has problems in the first year.

Purchased this to replace a G500s which replaced a G500 which replaced an MX518. Compared to those 3 mice and a G400s I think this is my least favorite in terms of build quality and comfort. The scroll wheel is clunky, loud and has a rough feel. The mouse is considerably smaller than the G400s which is slightly smaller than the G500s. It really feels too small for my hand. My thumb feels crammed where it rests between the buttons and the mouse body. The right side and rear of the mouse feels empty under my pinkie finger and palm. And, the scroll wheel is too far rearward. With all weights removed it still feels a little heavier than the G500s.

This is a decent gaming mouse with some nice features. The 502 Hero gaming mouse is, what Id say, is toward the mediumlower end of gaming nice. Its definitely not a starter mouse. The feel and build quality is there for what youd expect.Mouse buttons work well and feel good under use. It does take a little bit to get used to the fit under hand, but after awhile, you settle in to its intricacies. The rubberized grips are nice, as is the feel of the buttons themselves. Ive experienced no issues with clicks, scrolls or movement while gaming. There are enough weights included to help you adjust the amount of weight desired, as well as where that weight is positioned within the mouse. This can take some time to move the weights around to where it feels good for you. I was a bit worried about the bottom weight cover falling off or becoming lose, but that has not happened yet.A few complaints about the mouse are the positions of M4

I have been through 3 of these G502 mice in the last year and a half. All of them suffer from defective clickers. The left and right mouse buttons will often extra click, when you only want to click once. Or if you hold down the button it thinks you only wanted to click it once. Claiming a warranty on the mice is a terrible process and takes months, and only after their support makes you jump through 100 troubleshooting steps, and require you to video record you destroying the mice. This is such a common problem for G502s that it has turned into a JOKE. Logitech should be ashamed of their disgusting product reliability. I will never buy another Logitech product again, I am moving over to Corsair for everything. Stay away from Logitech products, you have been warned

If you choose any other mouse besides this one youre doing it wrong. Logitech knows exactly whats up when it comes to gaming and they have proof with this mouse right here.It has 5 programable buttons that you can set to whatever you want. Also has a dpi button that changes your mouses sensitivity and a mouse scroll wheel lock that can make your middle mouse button scroll freely or normally. Fits my hand perfectly and everyone that I have recommended this mouse to have loved it and I hope you do tooNot to mention it does light up, in case you like that. And it comes with weights that you can add to the bottom of the mouse in case it is too light

I bought this mouse to replace an ailing SteelSeries Rival 3, whose left mouse button is starting to fail. The Logitech G502 works fine as a mouse I especially liked the speedy scroll wheel, though the DPI buttons color change upon DPI change feature seemed to work inconsistently.Logitechs G Hub software, though not required for the mouse to work, was terrible for me. Its desktop notifications frequently flickered like an old analog monitor, especially when making DPI changes, and even one or two days after buying the mouse, the software occasionally took forever to start up if it did so at all. I was heavily critical of my SteelSeries Rival 3 since often my computer wouldnt even acknowledge its existence upon startup unless I unplugged and replugged the mouse, but one thing it did do properly was making its companion redgreenblue lighting software simple and convenient to use. I had a worse experience customizing my Logitech G502 mouses RGB zones with Logitechs software since it rarely seemed to retain my specific preferences e.g, one zone lighting up one way and another zone lighting up a different way or turned off entirely, which didnt work properly on my software and resulted in unwanted lighting assignments.

Like my review of the viper, Disclaimer that I dont buy into those overly hyped one off brand pc peripherals like that mouse with all the holes in it. This is a 50 dollar mouse and handles like a 50 dollar mouse, its heavy, bulky, clunks around, BUT I still poop on every single one of my friends that has a 1000 keyboard and 550 mouse, they just cant keep up with me. So Im convinced its the gamer and not the gear.I feel like this is the basic mouse that all gamers should start out on. Kinda need big hands and a heavy arm though. This mouse has some weight to it and comes with additional weights if for some reason you want it even heavier than stock. Great cheap starter mouse though, helps you learn how to mess with its program ghub macros, mapping, etc etc.

Where to begin. This mouse functioned properly for less than 3 months. After this time, the mouse began to double click constantly. The issue was initially the left button only but over time it spread to the right button as well. I would get as many as 5 clicks in a row registering as double clicks. This made the simplest tasks such as basic highlighting and draganddrop impossible, and of course gaming effectively on this gaming mouse became a laughable proposition. Logitech was no help in this. In order to consider your mouse eligible for a replacement, they demand that you send them a video of yourself using a particular website that monitors your mouse clicks. Except it said my mouse was fine, so no replacement for me. Save your money and get a Razer or Steel Series.

Comfortable, premiumfeeling gaming mouse. Sensitive and smooth. Favorite part is the scroll wheel, which has a button to change it from a regular ratcheting scroll to a freespinning wheel, which makes browsing long documents much better. Two side buttons to increase or decrease DPI, which I find myself accidentally clicking from time to time. With the logitech software, you can customize mouse profiles and tune the mouse to the surface youre using it on.The side button lowers the DPI for use in sniping or shooting games when you want to aim more carefully. Cord is braided. Buttons are solid and crisp. Also comes with insertable weights to change the feel of the mouse, but Ive just left it as is.

Replaced a G700 that I bought 1112 years ago. Love Logitech products, so even though the Razor Basilisk was also a contender went with something similar. Im not too fond of wireless mice, so the USB cool.Comfortable grip, really like the bumps on the right side.Adjustable weights may not matter to people who only use the mouse for an hour or two, but I work and play with this mouse, and the difference is noticeable.Buttons can be remapped to perform any function and the mouse can store 5 profiles,5 different button combinations.Overall, definitely worth the price, hope itll last as long as the 700.

This mouse is great hardware wise. Buttons have a nice feel, nice tracking, plays well.HOWEVER, the software KILLS this mouse. GHub is just horrible. Button assignments are a complete joke and is impossible to get them to act correctly. When you go to play a game, you realize NONE of your button assignments work because the mouse has switched into onboard memory. It does this randomly inside or outside of games. In onboard memory mode the mouse is just TRASH. No matter what profile I used the button assignments wouldnt stick. Why cant I just make my profile DEFAULT and NEVER CHANGE PERSISTENT PROFILE MEANS NOTHING Why cant I disable onboard memory mode Why cant I get my button assignments to WORK reliablySo inside the software there is DEFAULT, GSHIFT and ONBOARD. Each one can hold different button assignments. The mouse randomly switches between all of these and 13 of them DO NOT WORK. Want to use a macro IMPOSSIBLE WITH THIS MOUSE. You will be ALTTABing out of your game for 10 minutes each time to restart the software to get your button assignments to work. I tried making them ALL THE SAME so no matter what it switched to they would all be the same, right NOPE. That did not work either. You can add all of your games to their own profile, didnt help me. You can assign profiles to onboard memory, that didnt help either. The software killed this mouse, Its the worst mouse software Ive ever used. RETURNED.

This is an incredible mouse for the kind of gaming I do. Its very comfortable and I love the thumb rest on the side. All of the buttons are accessible, even with with my short fingers. There is also an option to free scroll, which comes in handy. The mouse also comes with several weights, so its perfectly customizable. Great option for a gaming mouse.

It worked perfectly for about 6 months, then one day the left click started acting up. Ive spent the past 2 weeks researching the problem and trying to fix it but from what I have read, multiple people have reported having the same issue as me. The issue is that the left click will very rarely work properly. When its not working properly, the left click will either not work at all, click a random amount of times with a single click, detect that you have stopped clicking when you press too hard, or start spasming without being clicked. I would recommend the mouse fully IF this issue ever gets solved, but until then look elsewhere. I hope this helps someone searching for a good gaming mouse.

Amazing mouse. It is quite large and perfect for my right hand. Absolutely love the 11 customizable buttons and use almost all of them in Call of Duty. The hyperscroll wheel is a wonderful addition and I use it all the time while browsing the web. Youre able to lock it so you can use it as a traditional scroll wheel when playing games. This was to replace a recently purchased Razer Basilisk v2, which 2 of them were junk And grotesque junk given the 80 price tag for such fragile constantly breaking mice.I then bought this G502 Hero wired, and the SCROLL WHEEL IS GARBAGE. It scrolls so hard it is stupid…I am utterly shocked Logitech actually sent the product out the door with such overboard drag, and poor quality feel. The other problem is that the palm area for large hands is too low sitting, which throws everything off so much that I have to hold the mouse quite uniquely just go be able to game while using the two left side thumb buttons. After 24 hours of frustration with the fit and ridiculous drag on that scroll wheel, OFF it went back to Best Buy unfortunately my first return to them ever that I can think of.I ended up landing on the Amazon PICTEK for 18 I NEVER, and repeat, NEVER buy cheap junk…always pay way more for higher end stuff than I probably should, BUT, I read some great reviews of this on gaming sites, went to Amazon and read some reviews, and this thing ROCKS PERFECT medium scroll wheel feel. Higher back palm area, so it fits better in a largerlonger hand Thumb buttons due to the overall design are CAKE to manipulate, WHILE moving and aiming in high speed FPS gaming, and to my shock it even came with lighting effects, which I didnt expect to see in such a cost effective price REALLY great mouse, and amazing mouse for the price.NEGATIVE Only thing I noticed was that the G502 slides like glass over the clothmaterialneoprene style mouse pads vs this one, which has a little more drag. BUT, I have zero issue with it when gaming…its just something I noticed after being spoiled with how well the G502 slides again, like GLASS, really nice feel to the slid, but that was it.Hope this helps with selecting a proper mouse

Coming from a naga chroma, i was apprehensive about losing the 12 macro keys on the side. In the few weeks since Ive gotten the mouse, Ive completely adjusted to the absence of the macro keys and it feels better playing without them to be quite honest. There are a few things that I havent been a fan of so far but Ill list them with pros and cons.prosFeels great in my hand, not too thin not too bulkyBase weight felt a little too light, after throwing a couple of the weights in it feels solid and sturdy.Love the feel of the scroll wheel being more notchy than past mice. Being able to swap between free scroll and clicky scroll is nice, but I dont see myself using free scroll much at all.Slides across mousepad very well, though that may just be the quality of mousepad or the fact that its still very new.consside buttons are inconvenient to use, particularly the foremost pair which are by default DPI buttons. Ive since rearranged them but they were quite an annoyance early on.doesnt have as much picture appeal as Id envisioned it to have, with the mouse being all black and the only lights being in the logo, however this is purely an aesthetic concern and not related to functionality. Hopefully LG will release a future version with more LEDs for picture appeal.

Really enjoying this mouse so far. I was using a Razer Mamba Elite, but with MacOS 11 completely killing Razer Synapse support, I wasnt able to personalize the extra buttons. Logitech G Hub works well with MacOS for programming the extra buttons. Im a happy camper The shape and feel of the mouse is fairly comparable to the Mamba Elite, though slightly smaller overall. Not a dealbreaker, at least for my hand.
Sky –
This is a welldesigned mouse with plenty of extra buttons 5 on the side alone. The RGB is great, the feel and buttons on the mouse all work great. You can use the GHub software to customize your button layouts, and like Logitech says, its all fully programmable.I took one star off the review because of two reasons1. Its generally not worth buying at full retail price wait for a sale.2. Eleven programmable buttons are great for people who need them but most gamers can do without so many. There are cheaper options if you only require 7, or 9 buttons.
SilverAngel87 –
PackagingIs it suitableThe packaging is quite robust and holds the mouse still so that it cant damage itself. The outer box is quite thin but covers a much thicker stronger cardboard inner to protect it from knocks and bangs. Inside the box the mouse is in a plastic surround which protects it from wet or damp environments. Overall the packaging serve the purpose of protecting the mouse well, and should be resilient enough to prevent any damage whether it is being transported in your shopping or whether it is being sent to you from a online store via a carrier or the mail service. How it looksThe packaging is quite attractive and shows the product on the box, the text on the box is very clear and easy to read.It is easy to tell if the mouse is appropriate for you by reading the technical specification printed on the side of the box, and it makes clear what operating systems the mouse is designed work with as well as the fact that an internet connection is required to download the additional software.Overall the box is designed very well and should be able to make it clear to the customer if the product is appropriate to them.InstallationHow easy to install and setupThe mouse will work as plug and play however not all of the feature are available until you download the additional software, the mouse is also extremely sensitive when it is plugged in for the first time which could make it difficult for people who have not used a product like this before to operate and complete the set up with the new software.Once the software is installed setting up the mouse is very easy and can be tailored to your individual tastes and needs, this is very useful as the mouse is able to be setup with multiple profiles for each game or piece of software you want to us it on. This makes the mouse very versatile and means you can have the mouse very sensitive in one game but much less sensitive and less responsive in other games. There is plenty of wire provided with the mouse meaning it should easily be able to be plugged into most gaming rigs without needing additional hardware to make the mouse cable longer. The cable is surrounded by braiding which helps to protect the cable meaning the wire is protected from rubbing through and breaking when it is trailed over the edge of the desk.PerformanceHow well does it performThe mouse performs many tasks very well, it is an ideal mouse for both a single use PC or a family PC which has to perform many different tasks as long as a profile for each piece of software that is required to perform the task is setup prior to attempting to use the mouse for the task, this is because the software which operates the mouse automatically changes the active profile when each bit of software loads or is in the active window.I found the Wheel mode shift for the central mouse wheel extremely useful as it allows for precise slow scrolling when needed and at a push of a button hyperfast scrolling for when you dont need to be so careful scrolling. This is useful as it means you can for example fast scroll through a long document then at the push of a button scroll more precisely when you get close to where you were reading or an area which needs editing. This feature is also useful in game when the scroll wheel is used for multiple applications in the game such as both used for zoom on one screen and menu scrolling on a different screen. Are There Any ProblemsFaultsThe only problem I encountered with this mouse is the limited number of premade set up profiles available for different pieces of software meaning you have to be technically competent to set up the profiles yourself, although I am capable of doing this I can see this becoming a problem for users who are not particularly technically competent. This however is likely to change in time as other users are able to upload their mouse setup profiles for people to download. The mouse certainly requires a mouse mat or pad as I found the optical sensor did get confused it you tried to use the mouse a slippery or shiny surface, which can make it difficult to use if there is no mouse mat present.Ease Of UseIs it easy to useThe ability to set the weight and balance of the mouse is always a bonus when using gaming equipment and this is the best design method I have seen so far, many of the gaming mice I have used before that have had this option required unscrewing to set the balance and weight, however with this being held closed magnetically it make it much easier to change as required as some games require a mouse to be balanced differently. The ability to set the weight of the mouse also means you can set it up so that if you accidentally knock the mouse it wont send the cursor flying across the screen and also offers some resistance to accidental knocks. The ability to tailor the sensitivity and responsiveness of clicking to your individual requirements makes this mouse highly versatile, each game or piece of software can be set up with sensitivity for moving the mouse and the responsiveness of clicking, It also has several buttons which can be allocated to keys on the keyboard, keyboard commands, or to carry out macros which have been recorded prior to allocating it. This means it can be used for anything from office work to web browsing, to gaming, so far I have yet to find a job I cannot use this mouse to do.The mouse sensitivity can also be altered on the fly with the use of two buttons on the mouse this means that if you find you have the profile for the software set up incorrectly you can compensate for it and dont have to leave whatever you are doing and alter it in the mouse software hub, this is also useful in a gaming environment where a games conditions can suddenly change. Is it comfortable to holdThe mouse is very well designed and extremely comfortable to hold and use. It is a pleasure to find that the mouse is quite large unlike the recent trend in making mice smaller and smaller, this means that unlike other gaming mice it sits nicely under my hand and keeps the buttons under my fingers. The materials used on the mouse means that if you are using it a lot it doesnt rub against your skin and irritate it, meaning you are able to use it for long periods of time without it making your hand sore from holding it.How It ComparesThis mouse stands out from other gaming mice because it can be tailored to the individual using it so much, everything from weight and balance to programming the mouse keys makes it so attractive to use. This is also the most comfortable gaming mouse I have used so far which makes it a pleasure to use and shows great design decisions were made. Unlike other gaming mice this one isnt just good for gaming but for many different tasks.Final EvaluationI would highly recommend this mouse to anyone looking for a gaming mouse or simply a mouse that can be made to suit their requirements. Once you have the mouse set up it is extremely versatile and is suitable for all types of users.Although the initial setup could be painful this mouse is well worth the trouble as it make up for these short comings very quickly. At first I was expecting this mouse to be a one trick pony only good for certain game style or players however after using it for a prolonged period this has taken over from my old trackball mouse as it can do all of the tasks it used to do and more besides.ProsTo summarise the pros of the mouse are Easy to use Can be tailored to an individuals weight and balance Highly versatile Sensitivity and responsiveness of clicking can be setup differently for different pieces of software The mouse sensitivity can also be altered on the fly with the use of two buttons on the mouse Extremely comfortable to hold and use Stays cools even after long periods of use or being switched on a long time Plenty of wire Braided cableWhile the cons and difficulties with the mouse are Extremely sensitive when it is plugged in for the first time Requires download of additional software Might not be intuitive to people new to gaming equipment Limited premade mouse set up profiles

Purchased for a friend as a birthday gift since his older Logitech mouse I believe it was around six years old started to experience an issue with the right mouse button. After messing it with off and on since I use his computer occasionally I feel I have enough experience with the mouse to write a review but I wanted to be to be clear that this mouse is not my daily.ProsBuild quality and ergonomics feel solid and I felt no discomfort even after several hours of use whether the activity be gaming or just browsing. Actuation force needed for top and side buttons is minimal with average travel distance although I do feel a difference between the left and right top buttons when I press down but I think that has more to do with me than anything. Clicks are audible but not loud enough to be distracting. The top cover is not one solid shell so Left and Right mouse buttons have individual tops. If you game competitively especially playing FPS this is a must have feature. My Razer Lancer TE is a one piece top shell and feels sluggish compared to the G502 Hero when playing games like CSGO Valorant and Overwatch. Buttons are mappable to be fair almost all gaming mice can do this and the mouse has a DPI clutch that can be used to adjust quickly for precision shooting and then resets back to the previous setting quickly. Weight is adjustable if you want to customize. I recommend maxing it out and then removing the weights in stages to see what works for you. Finally the heart of the mouse is the Pixart PMW3366 sensor that is usually found in higher end mice 75 and up and is what helps the G502 it punch above its weight when it comes to optics.RGB is present on the mouse but it is very minimal with only the G symbol and the DPI selection indicators being illuminated can be turned off in software. The Logitech software G HUB has in my opinion one of the best UIs I have ever used and is generally easier to use when compared to the other RGBcontrol software I have used from some other companies. I also have a G910 Orion Spectrum I use as a secondary keyboard and G HUB works well with that too. When it comes to procedures like creating key bindings, makingsaving profiles, and customizing the RGB it works quite well. Finally, the price which generally hovers around 50 which is more than fair for a quality mouse that will last you for years.ConsRGB again is very minimal which could be an issue depending on visual taste. The mouse is kinda small and that could be an issue for someone with large hands especially if you experience discomfort with the thumb rest as you might find yourself pressing DPI clutch in the middle of a fire fight. It does have very gamer look going on which can be a turn off for some. The free flowing scroll wheel with clutch can seem out of place for some since this is marketed as a gaming mouse. I really wish they squeezed in at least one preferably two side buttons for the right side of the mouse. General lack of buttons could be an annoyance for games like a MMORPG.

I bought this mouse to replace the G502 Hero I bought just over a year ago. The old mouse had begun double clicking with a single mouse press, and would also not click and drag. I tried using software solutions to fix it as suggested by Logitech support, but it was only a temporary fix that barely worked. Most games were unplayable.Despite the durability issues, this is such a comfortable mouse that I couldnt find another satisfactory brand or model. I ended up purchasing another hoping that the issue has been solved. A mouse for this price should not last only a year.Meanwhile my Logitech wireless mouse at work from 10 years ago continues to work just fine.

Good looking mouse. Light but you can add weights to your liking. Long enough wires thats good thing.I like 90 of the product. 11 customizable buttons. Good solid clicks. All good. But there is one button that I use alot to browse web. Center button. Its too slippery and scrolling is not as smooth as it should be. You need to put effort to scroll. I have my set up as left and right shift as windows snapping to left and right. When I am scrolling it it snap my browsers to left and right. Its very annoying. Due to scrolling being so rigid and slippery I have to put some force on it. Everything is good except the scrolling wheels. If you are just gaming I guess its good enough but its not for web browsing.

Its a good mouse, love all the customization features. Its very comfortable and well made. I use it at work for CADCAM software.Only thing I dont like is the obnoxious metal scroll wheel. Id imagine its better suited for gaming, but I absolutely hate it. The amount of noise generated and effort required to spin the wheel drives me crazy. If you use it for any sort of CAD software, youll definitely want to pair it with a 3DConnexion spacemouse for zooming inout. You can press a button to make the wheel spin freely with no resistance, but thats only helpful if you have every Wikipedia page copied onto a single MS Word document and you want to scroll from A to Z in .05 milliseconds.

The G502 is smooth, silky and accurate. Clicking this mouse is effortless and doesnt return any plasticky feel when your index finger proceeds downward. The outer shell case is covered in mostly matte finish rather than smooth plastic that provides a firmer gripping surface. Additional features are especially helpful, 1 the cool lights, 2 the shape in your hand, 3 the cloth covered USB connection cord, 4 the cool lights, 5 the 5 separate 3.6gram weights for added stability, 6 all the programmable buttons, 7 the thumb rest, 8 and did I mention the cool lightsAlthough this is a gaming mouse, my purpose is work related. It is necessary for me to be working with five, six, or more applications at the same time, moving text and data back and forth quickly and without errors. I use a large 31 curved monitor and the response when traveling across the screen is instantaneous, seeming almost anticipatory for its next landing point. My shoulder and I really like this mouse a LOT

Got this mouse to replace my gifted BMW mouse. This mouse is amazing It glides smoothly and very accurate. Im not a hardcode gamer but this mouse has tons of functionality that I wont be able to use. The wheels feels heavy and metallicy I think its metal actually and the buttons click is instant and feels great. Tactile feedback on any button feels great. I wish it had more lighting spots… Its just the G letter that lights up. Still pretty cool Also I have big hands and this mouse feels great in my right hand… Oh yes this is right hand only mouse just FYI.

The mouse looks and feels great. Installed the drivers and software. The software interface is a bit awkward to set up the lighting. The clickers are not properly responding. It can take several tries to rightclick the context menu to pop up in Windows, Office, or any app. Selecting multiple cells in Excell or text in Word is impossible. Whats the point of using it then Looks good but just doesnt work. Total shame. Logitech wants a video showing problem to file a warranty claim… Easier to just return it.Needs to be returned

I tried a few mouses before settling on the G502. I previously had the razer naga hex but the new naga was over my budget.I was looking for lots of buttons for MMO gaming so I tried the corsair scimitar and utech venus. However, I would inadvertently press a button with my thumb when I held the mouse too firmly. I needed a mouse with the ability to rest my thumb and still be able to press buttons. This mouse solves this problem with 3 side buttons and a thumb rest. I can reach the two left buttons plus the scroll wheel has a left and right button. This is more than enough buttons for my gaming needs. The finish of the G502 does not leave fingerprintoil marks like other matte finish mouses which developed two oil marks immediately after usage. Id imagine over time it will develop but not as quickly as the previous Ive tested. The software is easier to use than corsairs iCUE. However I preferred the RGB lighting on the body of the scimitar. I did not use the additional weights however it is easy and intuitive to remove the housing cover.

This mouse is great. Ive been using it for a few weeks for both work and gaming, and I love itThe ability to adjust the weight in the base is a huge plus for me. I was able to add just enough weight so the mouse is more stable when Im doing detailed work I dont feel like the pointer is about to take off on its own when I least expect it. I also like the ability to not only set up up to 3 different DPI sensitivity profiles, and to add additional DPI levels within each profile, but also switch between all of them effortlessly. The weighted scroll wheel is also a nice touch if I need to scroll to the bottom of a long document, I can simply unlock the wheel so that it spins freely, and then give it a spin. The tracking on this mouse is another huge plus… its absolutely incredible, regardless of any surface Ive place it on. The Logitech Gaming Software allows you to control all aspects of the mouse, including lighting color and intensity, DPI sensitivity, and of course the ability to assign any of the numerous keys to a keystroke, default function, or a macro. Ive set up several macros to help with repetitive work activities, and so far theyve worked flawlessly. All of the abilities and features mentioned above carry directly into the world of gaming. Im not a huge gamer, but I do play some FPS and strategy games with friends from time to time. The control and flexibility this mouse gives is very nice snapshots seem a bit easier. The only problem I had with this mouse was the Arx Control service. I wound up having to disable it because it was causing some system instability with my Win7 machine. I dont play games on mobile devices, so this wasnt a huge problem for me.Overall, I think this mouse is a homerun for Logitech. I would definitely recommend it.
G R –
Great entry level gaming mouse. For 40 you couldnt beat the customized features on it. The roller wheel has presets for rolling forward, backward, pushing straight down AND a slight tap to the right or left which gives more customize abilities like for FPS games. My only gripe is I have average size female hands and my thumb doesnt really reach the thumb key, its a little far forward. Male hands probably dont have that problem but for me it requires stretching slightly to it which isnt idea in FPS games. The two triangle buttons that run along the left side of the top almost blend in with the the left click button, which for me is hard since the left click is SHOOT on for me, I can easily accidently click those keys instead.. or worse be trying to be quiet in the game and try to hit one of those triangle keys for something and end up shooting. I just disabled those keys to avoid it.Over all, great buy still and it has a great look for the price.

After 4 months of casual gaming, the right click doesnt work all of the time. After 6 months, the left click no longer functions all of the time. Imagine any time you have to hold either click down and it registers 36 clicks instead of one long one.. totally unreliable after a very short time. Im not even a pro gamer or a streamer. I play overwatch at night after work, and now I cant play most heros because my mouse wont let me properly or reliably use certain weapons or functions. This mouse is just garbage and the company that sells it has a garbage website that does not handle warrantys very efficiently. I doubt I will be able get a replacement. I regret choosing Logitech and do not recommend the brand for gaming.

Overall this is an excellent and wellbuilt mouse. The programmable buttons make everything so easy. I have a 60 keyboard so the media keys volume up and down and the delete key are done by using the FN key. With this mouse, I can program the volume keys and delete keys straight into the mouse. Its just incredibly convenient having all these programmable buttons at your fingertips.Gaming performance is great too. It is perfectly weighted out the box for me and comes with extra weights if you find it too light. The RGB lighting is also very pleasant. Nothing over the top but very subtle and sleek.

After my old MX series mouse clicked its last click I wanted one that had the same features. Specifically I needed one that offered a scroll wheel that can roll one bump at a time or spin freely. The 502 does that and more.I like the button arrangement. There are two for the thumb that are easily reached. Theres one forward of the thumb to vary the DPI on the fly. As with other logitech products theyre all customizable. The bottom has a magnetic hinge that hides am alcove for extra weights, adding 3 grams at a time. Even fully loaded it glides smoothly. The lights are a nice astethic touch. Their color cycling or static behavior can be customized through the desktop application or turned off if they become obtrusive. The bottom edge has an extended shelf that your thumb rests on, rather than dragging on the table. Its new to me but I instantly found it comfortable.Tracking is as smooth and responsive as Ive come to expect for a logitech mouse. Cranking it up to the full 16k is staggeringly accurate, if not maybe useless for normal desktop applications.

This is a very cool mouse. It comes with extra weights I found that adding all the available weights gives it a feeling of quality that is nice in the hand. Its also programmable, to some degree. Please know that Im not a professional gamer, an I have not tried every mouse ever made just an adult who sometimes plays computer games with his kids. There are mice which cost twice as much and I assume that the more expensive mice are better in some way but on the other hand, I can tell the difference between this midpriced mouse, and the very cheap ones. Im also expecting this mouse to last many years and many clicks

I got this mouse to replace my aging Logitech G500, and this is mostly a straight upgrade. Its not 100 perfect for me, but its close enough that itll serve me for years to come.Pros Its got that classic MX518 shape that I love at its core. The RGB lighting, while understated my preference, is completely configurable. The buttons feel sturdy, and are large enough to easily press. It hits up to 16,000 DPI a little excessive for me, but I like having the option. You can reconfigure any of the buttons in the drivers to do whatever you want macros, simulated keyboard buttons, the works. The left and right click are actual separate buttons rather than flexible extensions from the outer shell. The black color scheme meshes better with other hardware, so if youre going for a unified look, this should match well. You can set the response time however you want but honestly you should always have it at 1ms, which is excellent. The price. I got this on sale, but even at the regular price its worth the money. It has the free scroll mode for the scroll wheel that Logitech apparently has a monopoly on. It has one more button than my old G500 that isnt placed intrusively. Build quality is generally excellent.Cons Its got that Transformer look that a lot of cheap gaming computer cases have these days not much of a con, and comes down to preference. It feels a bit too narrow compared to my old G500. Not enough to be uncomfortable, though. The scroll wheel can be a hair too stiff. No included drivers in the box. This is a big deal. Pop a cheap 1GB flash drive or just a CD in there, it costs you like an extra fifty cents, Logitech. Yes, you can download them off the website, but you shouldnt have to for initial setup. The mouse works with just the basic Windows mouse driver, but you need the real drivers to access advanced features. DownloadingUpdating the drivers can be a bit wonky. The installer isnt an offline installer, you need internet access for it during the whole installation. This is fine for installing something like Steam, but not optimal for hardware drivers. Also, the progress bars during installupdate are extremely uninformative. I spent five minutes at 25 downloaded, then jumped immediately to 100. Only has four DPI presets available, compared to the G500s five. Not a big deal, but its weird because its purely a software thing. The mouse has exactly the same indicators, DPI buttons, and onboard storage as the G500. The thumb button placement still needs some tuning. The G500 had the extra button between the forwardbackward buttons, which got in the way sometimes but was easier to reach. Its now down and forward of them, which doesnt get in the way, but is too far forward to comfortably reach and I have big hands. Move it back by about 1.5cm and itll be perfect. The weight system needs a little tuning. It took me a couple tries to get the cover back on correctly, as one of the weights slid in a little stiffly.Overall, its a great mouse, especially if youre upgrading from a cheap bundled in mouse. Just be aware that you need to download the drivers yourself, and the installer may look frozen when it isnt frozen. Also, its long, which is about right for my large hands, but your mileage may vary.

Purchased this mouse with the intent for general use rather than gaming, due to the number of buttons and infinite scroll wheel. So far has been great for that. For gaming however, it can be quite a heavy mouse so FPS and other games like that, it would probably be best to consider a lighter mouse. For productivity however, this thing is great. The sensor is very accurate, the buttons are well positioned and the weight gives it a good solid feel. Texture is also great, pretty sweat resistant as well.A slight complaint is that the force needed to push each button is relatively inconsistent compared to other mice. Mouse 1 and 2 are good and tactile, but the other buttons feel like they are too light or too heavy.Mouse profiles are great too, can store 5 profiles on the mouse without logitech software, as well as profiles using logitech software. So there are 2 separate lights, the G logo and the 3 bars. I notice that when I use mac, the 3 bars tend to not turn on even though I have it configured. I need to reinsert the mouse back in. Not a big issue, but an issue nonethless.Overall great mouse for productivity imo, but if you need one for gaming, a lighter mouse is preferred.

I spent quite a while checking out every mouse that was available instore… but I kept coming back to this one because of the price. There is a wireless version that was significantly more expensive. For me, wireless isnt enough to justify the price increase. I am biased towards wired mice though at least until the premium on wireless tech comes down.Being able to add up to 18 grams of extra weight 3.6 gram increments is a nice bonus as I prefer a slightly heavier mouse so the cable moving around isnt heavy enough to move the mouse when my hand comes off it.The ergonomics are OK. There was a different Logitech mouse that I had my eye on because it also had a pinky rest, but the increased price wasnt worth it. I generally like this style of mouse wheel that free spins for work and general PC use, but its taking some getting used to in games.Biggest complaint is the Logitech software used to control the mouse settings.
JimD –
I bought this back in April of 2020 because Ive ALWAYS had great products from Logitech and needed a replacement for my G403 HERO. In August of 2020 4months later I noticed the right mouse button starting to act funny in games, at first i thought it was lag or what have you, but it just kept happening. September rolled around and now i get a click on it 50ish of the time and its near impossible to hold it to ADS on the FPS i play. Its so bad that i have my 10 year old Microsoft mouse out because the 502 just chooses at this point when it wants to work. The adjustable weight was AMAZING and size is perfect for me but 4 to 5 months is not long enough for a 50USD mouse to last. Id recommend the other mouse if you are comparing the two.
Ezra –
Ive owned this mouse for several years, since early 2017. Only up until now, I am experiencing the effects of wear and tear. This mouse is exactly what you want for FPS games.Functionality of all buttons are still perfectly fine which I use for keybinds. The infinite scroll button would be the only notable issue so far, misclicking at times. Initially the weights were useful for custom settings, but muscle memory sort of adjusted me to the weights. Logitech has dramatically improved its multiproduct software platform, renaming it GHub, its a lot more user friendly than its predecessor. Overall, its a great, durable mouse that has definitely served its purpose.
Gdale –
I needed a mouse that was compatible drivers with MacOS, and had more buttons. Every button on the mouse can be customized using the G Hub software. It has onthefly dpi toggle so you can adjust how precise you need the cursor to be. I play games and work in photoshop so this is super helpful to move in and out of those modes.Ergonomically the mouse isnt large, I have large hands and it fits my palm nicely. Nice RGB lighting in the logo and infinity scroll you can toggle this onoff feature. It came with these fancy weights which I havent tested yet, the stock weight of the mouse seems fine to me.
PastorPetePeters –
As soon as I saw the price and held in my hand I knew this was the one. Struck the perfect balance. I only wish I would have rolled the wheel with my finger in store. Didnt realize its all metal. Fingers slips on intial use, but does get better right away. A rubberized wheel doesnt have that issue for me. But the mouse is so great in all other categories, I decided to keep it. Would give a 4.5 if option was available.
Tookrdrmp –
As an I.T. professional who works from home by day and a gamer and audio engineer by night, I require quality and consistency with my PC peripherals as most of my waking hours are spent at the computer. I bought this mouse to replace my, still working, 2007 Logitech G5 Gaming Mouse. The G5 still works but the cord was frayed after so many years of use and abuse. After trying to replace my G5 with Razer and Corsair products, nothing could beat the comfort and quality feeling of the Logitech. I should have bought this mouse sooner. It is the only worthy contender to replace my Logitech G5. The other mice felt cheap and flimsy and I needed something more robust. The optional weights do the job. The RGB is an added bonus for me but not essential. I have yet to go in and mess with the macros but definitely will in due time. I use palm grip on mice and play mostly MMOs and a few shooters. My productivity work includes coding, spreadsheets, documents, moving back, audio editing and traversing between multiple displays. After minimal adjustment, I was able to find the perfect settings for the right speed.

I have now bought three of these. The first when it was the 100 Proteus Core, a second to replace it purely for age reasons 5 years and a third for my son.11 assignable buttons, including a mouse wheel that tilts left or right. The unlockable scroll wheel is a killer feature you wont find on any other mouse. Makes scrolling long pages a breeze.Logitech Ghub software is actually pretty good. Not the most intuitive to use and it takes too many clicks to get to where you can change button assignments, but it is updated often and works perfectly.

Aside of the lol KDA design, its basically a G502, but with a faster and sharper optic sensor. I have both standard G502 and this one. I am not pro enough to feel any difference with this new sensor, or the standard one. I still lose my lanes, take poor macro decisions and flame my team mates just as well as with the Standard G502. I do like the design though.I regret that the cord isnt braided. Its just a plain boring gum coated usb cable. The same one as on my chf 5. dell stock mouse connected to my office pc.

After hearing such good reviews from friends of mine, I bought 2 different G502 Heroes. Neither lasted more than 3 months. The first one started having problems with double clicking, but I figured Id try another time because the mouse is so comfortable and reasonably priced. Nope. Over the couple months I owned the second one, it would occasionally disconnect miduse and id have to unplug and plug it back in. However, it finally disconnected mid game and never reconnected. It is absolutely unacceptable to have a mouse that retails for 60 last only 3 months when my last mouse i got in a keyboard bundle for 30 lasted 6 years. I will not be buying Logitech products anymore.

Honestly this is the best gaming mouse ever. I wanted to go with all Corsair however my mouse left click stopped working within a month of buying it so I traded it in for this mouse. I love the look of this minimal RGB. Its slim and decent length for me who has baby hands and games using claw grip. Everyone I know also has this mouse and loves it. The cord is pretty long so I had to bunch it up and hide it. However the cord material is high quality. The side buttons are really nice and placed in good spots too. I dont think you could ever go wrong with this mouse. We also bought the SE whiteblack version for a white PC build even though its primarily black its too good of a mouse to replace just because its not an all white mouse to match. Thats how much we love this mouse.

Ive bought Logitech before and everything that I have gotten worked perfectly with no issues and have lasted a long time. So when purchasing this mouse I had a high standard. For the first four months of use it worked great, best mouse Ive ever had for gaming. Then one day I come home and get on my computer and try to scroll through YouTube and it takes me five scrolls to make my page move. I tested it out with other applications like discord and it wasnt working properly on there either. I love Logitech products but I would not recommend this mouse for any long term use.

I have several logictech mice and they are great.I thought this one would be a nice upgrade with my new computerWhile the physical mouse is good the software sucks. When programming multiple keys on one button the software is executed a press and release when you hold the mouse button in.So if you want several keys to be pressed and held then this software wont do it. VERY FRUSTRATINGSo for several first person shooter games the programmable mouse button wont do what it needs to.The sad part is the old Logitech software DID allow this programmingWhy take this out I contacted them and they said they will look into it in possible future software updates. WTF The old software was doing it just fineSo to get this to work I had to find the old version and download that. Now I can make it work properlyGood product. Bad software and support

I had the g400 series for about ten years. I love so when I went shopping for a new mouse and seen this hero 500 series. I was like ok sure. I love the weights in the buttons seem so far away from were my hand sits on the mouse. Wish I could adjust the buttons closer. The cord is to long and gets caught on many because it hangs to the floor. I have a pull out tray for my keyboard and mouse. Overall I love the functionality of the mouse. I hope to have this one for another ten years or more

I have played several games in my life that wear on computer mice greatly. I have used over 10 different mice from brands like Razer, Corsair, Logitech, Steelseries, and Finalmouse. No other mouse I have used is as refined and durable as the G502.I have had a G502 Core or the base model, the RGB Proteus Spectrum, and the most recent revision, the HERO. The build quality on these is great and they last forever. They take at least a year of intense use to start double clicking, but this is covered in their warranty. The RGBTuning software is comprehensive and easy to understand. I do not own other Logitech products so I cant comment on their Keyboard software. The weights that come with the mouse are useful if you prefer a heavier mouse the wired version of the mouse is incredibly light.I honestly wish I could use a Corsair mouse Because my build is entirely Corsair themed, but no other mouse holds the candle to the g502.

Very heavy. Its heavy even without the extra weights. The size is somewhat in the middle. I prefer the bigger ones. It feels odd to have to be so heavy while not being big, like it would just fly off. Scroll wheel feels metallic, its even the coldest part of the mouse. It also stops very clearly when you scroll, I prefer the smoother ones. The scroll click is also quieter, which has me pressing hard as a result compared to my last mouse. It does have a lot of buttons though. It works well with a mario paint mousepad. It glides very well on it and the sensor doesnt freeze up there are some mouse that dont like it. My last mouse scroll button intermittently stopped working, so I had to get a new one. The price ballooned up to this price range, so I had to look for something else. Everyone kept recommending this, and the price was the same, so I figured might as well try it.
averageshopper –
Good mouse overall. I ended up returning it though, because it did not quite fit my hand. I have a large hand and use a palm grip, and the G502 was a bit too narrow in the back with not enough hump, which was causing my palm to cramp after a while. Also, I found the scroll wheel to be a bit heavy, I much prefer the scroll wheel on the Razer Basilisk which I ended up getting, because if fit my hand slightly better. Other then that it worked well, the switches click nicely, the tracking is perfect. If you have a medium size hand, this mouse would work well, it just was not a right fit for me.
Jared –
Mouse is performing amazingly, with no complaints. The wire for it is durable and flexible at the same time so cord management is easy and safe. You can adjust the weight of the mouse with the weights that come with the mouse to really get an exact fit out of the thing. You can also customize the LED lights, set keybinds, and DPI profiles for seamless transitions from one activity to another. I am extremely impressed so far with the quality of the mouse.
Karim –
I use the mouse for gaming and general PC, and at work for office type work. The mouse is very intuitive the build is decent, it definitely feels and looks premium. The mouse is nice and light and easy to use. The sensor is very zippy and responsive and I could see myself using this even for FPS games as much as editing. The hyperscroll wheel is a life saver for work related tasks. I had spent many late nights scrolling through long websites and web code for work, wishing for a hyperscroll wheel on the g602, and the new g604 provides exactly that. I can fly through documents for work without getting arm pain from the middle mouse wheel.Performancegaming is superb. 16000 DPI versus 2500 is an amazing difference. This is the primary reason to upgrade. Button clicks are excellent Tracking is excellent even without a mouse. I do miss the performance button on the G602 which extended battery life, but the G604 is supposed to get great battery life so hopefully thats not an issue.Overall loving this mouse and definitely recommend it for anyone.

I bought this mouse because my wireless one was becoming unreliable with a choppy connection so I went with a corded one. The responsiveness is really good and Im not having any troubles with the mouse lagging of any sort. The ergonomics of this product feels great. Its not too big and the space where your thumb goes feels really nice. I like how this mouse comes with weights that you can install on the bottom of it for a more solid feel. The glowing G on the mouse is pretty cool too. With the Logitech software, you can change the colors on it or keep it in a rainbow colored rotation. I havent figured out how to assign keys for gaming yet but Im sure I wont have any issues once I figure it out.I purchased this along with the Logitech 815 corded keypad and its a great combo together. My wife really likes the design too and was considering purchasing something similar as well.

The decision one makes in selecting a gaming mouse is a highly subjective one, but for me, this is the one. Its extremely comfortable to use, and lasts forever. I had the original model since 2013, its still going strong.I use different profiles for gamingwork, I love the ability to copypaste and have other shortcuts saved right at my fingertips. With one click, I can switch profiles and jump into a game, and Im ready to go.Highly recommend you at least consider this mouse when looking for a good gamingall around option

The mouse lasted 8 months before the left click button started showing signs of a defective switch. A singleclick registers as a doubleclick, holding the button down registers multiple clicks, unable to dragdrop or highlight making it useless for most tasks. I replaced my last Logitech 500 series for the same reason… but at least it had lasted a few years before chumping out.Currently pursuing a warranty claim, however I expect the replacement will have the same issue in a matter of time.Im considering just gifting the replacement to a light user and buying another brand. Logitech used to be decent quality.I have an original G15 around the house thats still working great. Whats happened to the quality of their latest generations of gear

THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH QUALITY OF THIS MOUSE OR THE QUALITY OF BEST BUY, BEST BUY RULES but I, truly, with every bone in my entire being, am appalled with Logitechs customer service. The mouse is of great quality I was super pleased with the feel and the haptic feedback from the mouse clicks and the thumb buttons, its awesome. The adjustable weights in the bottom This mouse is living in 2045 I purchased it for gaming on my laptop which is a MacBook gross, I know. pc is on the way, but the software wasnt compatible with Big Sur, the new Mac OS, which is fine but in order for me to figure all of this out I had to do all of the research by myself. You might be thinking eww what a brat but Im dumb so it took forever and ever and ever. I was sitting on a live chat with Logitech AFTER a person connected for about 20 minutes waiting for Kim. G to say something which she never did, then I called them and I was waiting in a queue for well over 30 minutes obviously with covid wait times are extended I get it but 30 minutes, then when they finally did answer the girl could barely speak English and was really just trying to get me off of the phone. She sent me steps to resolve the issue and the steps were for Windows 10 troubleshooting She never even asked what operating system I was using, and that should be the absolute first question asked. Idk, very unprofessional all round. Again, the product is nice, dont get this twisted the mouse is definitely quality, but dont buy it if youre a tech dummy like me that relies on tech support, because unfortunately you wont receive any tech support.

This mouse is one of the best Ive used, but Logitech has an issue with their switches. I know some people that have has amazing luck and got good mouses with no issues at all, but most of the time, you will probably get a defective mouse. Logitech switches are known to start unblinking by itself or double clicking when you only click once. If you want a good mouse to hold you off for a couple of months, this mouse is perfect. If you want a permanent mouse that will last a while, DO NOT buy this, spend some more money on something like a Corsair Nightsword. You will use this mouse for 6 months if your lucky and then the switches will go bad.

This thing was so much better than the Razer noise I bought first That thing just felt too cheap and was way too light, with no weights I couldnt find the Logitech gaming accessories when I was in the store the first couple times, and figured out they had these when I returned my Razer Death Adder v2 wired This thing almost compares to the SteelSeries Rival 650 wired that Ive used in the past, wished I would have bought another one when they were on sale for cheaper than the DeathAdder Although I truly love Logitech as Ive never had any problems with their accessories and this is just the newer updated version of the mouse I used to use when I played Counter Strike professionally way back in the early to mid 00s.

A near perfect balance of weight, ergonomics and features. Enough buttons to cover most common keystrokes you use in games without turning it into an MMO mouse with a dozen buttons.Ive used this for FPS games battlefield RTS age of empires and Witcher 3. The layout and assignability of buttons is great. In an FPS you can set the thumb button for a quick melee, the arrow buttons next to mouse 1 for grenades, left right mouse tilt for a quick weapon switch, and the side buttons to crouch and go prone. Switch profiles you can store three on the mouse itself, which is nice because you dont have to rely on software recall and in an RTS those same buttons can select different units or buildings or move you around the map. On Witcher 3 I had tilting left or right switch swords and the other buttons set up to switch signs.Cool story Maybe not, but it all means you can assign your most commonly used keystrokes to your mouse and not worry about having to hunt around the keyboard when youre in the middle of a fight. After you get used to your custom layout you can trigger each one in a fraction of a second because the buttons are so close to the natural position of your mouse hand. The software is well designed and only required for setting up and storing profiles. Mouse is very comfortable I have large hands but it would not be too large for someone with smaller hands. I removed the built in weights. Without them its probably still heavier than the ultralight mice that are trendy right now but I never feel its too heavy. This is one of those pieces of gear that you always want to have with you and hope the manufacturer doesnt change the design in order to improve it and end up ruining what works. Thats why when I saw best buy had a sale at 50 off I went to the store and bought another one just to keep it sitting in a closet in case something happens to my current mouse still going strong after 3 years, knock on wood.My only two complaints1 The braided wrap around the cord. I can see why its there, but after awhile it developed a hole and the cord bulged out and couldnt be pushed back in. Ended up cutting off the wrap because it just became annoying.2 Textured grip near thumb rest. In theory its nice for extra grip, but in practice it just is a place for dirt and grime to accumulate. Would be nice if they had an alternate smooth piece you could swap out.

I had the previous model of this, which was basically the exact same thing with slightly redesigned button shapes, but the scroll wheel finally died after several years so I needed a quick replacement. This still has everything I need, and is the best gaming mouse Ive ever used. The Logitech software is easy to use, and the mouse has 3 customizable profile settings, which can be switched with the middle button anytime you want.It has the basic LR buttons, with a clickable TILTING scroll wheel, which is really great since tilting wheels are becoming quite uncommon. Also, there is a button to allow freescrolling spin the wheel and it keeps going, great for scrolling through long websites. There are 2 buttons just next to where your thumb rests, with a 3rd at the tip. Also, there are 2 more right next to the left mouse button, though theyre easy to miss. The button to choose which profile you want can actually be remapped too. Also, the buttons arent just a jumbled bunch like the many of the Razer mice, these are all perfectly located to easily reach. Its just a matter of remembering what you have mapped.Counting the scroll wheel as 3, the grand total of buttons that can be remapped is ELEVENThe only problem I have with this model is that the wheel actually tilts too easily if you try to just click it. Theres much more empty space next to it, and its definitely a lot looser than the previous one, but it just takes time to get used to and isnt enough to lower my 5 star rating.Theres also a wireless version of this, which costs an additional 100, so just go with what suits you best. I personally prefer corded ones myself because theyre cheaper, and also so I dont have to worry about batteries, charging, or signal loss.

The G502 has long been established as the mouse of choice for serious gamers, on the outside this version is the same mouse many know and love with the familiar sleek black plastics and awesome space age design. Inside however it is a different animal, experience flawless tracking from the new sensor that will respond perfectly to hand movements with absolute consistency.I have been a big fan of Logitech products for several years largely due to the robust feel and tangible build quality of their products. My favourite feature of the G502 is the incredibly ergonomic scroll wheel which makes changing weapon not only faster but more satisfying than ever beforeThe mouse is really comfortable especially when gaming for long periods of time, I have been playing a lot of Fortnite with this mouse and the vast array of buttons makes for ultra fast effortless inventory selection. The new G502 delivers outstanding performance and remains top in its class. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend it to anybody as my gaming mouse of choice.

After just 5 months of moderate use, the left mouse button began to unintentionally double click when only being pressed ONCE. Changing the Mouse settings in windows did nothing. Look online and you will see that this is a common problem for Logitech G502 mice, and Logitech has no fix, other than use compressed air to blow out under the mouse buttons. Its a mechanical failure in the mouse. I will do an RMA, but Im also buying a new mouse. This is unacceptable for a supposed high performance mouse. I expected better from Logitech, but its clear that their quality is not what it used to be.

What happens when you have a heavy little mouse and you are running around shooting at people in game Bam Killed by a 12 year old and yes that little brat is dancing over your corpse.I ordered the Logitech G502 Hero gaming mouse from the Best Buy website. I blinked twice and it was on my doorstep faster than Chinese fried rice delivery. Super light weight, precision laser, clicky buttons, and it looks fly too. Best part about this mouseGet back in the game and I see that little punk jumping around in the distance so I pull out the sniper rifle. Guess what This mouse has a freaking sniper button. I hit that joint and the cursor slows for precise accuracy. I peg that crumb snatcher right in the skull. Could I do that with my old mouse Heck no. Now who is dancing over whos body Thats right. Me. Worth the hype. I was rocking a cyberpower Elite M13 priot to purchase this mouse. The upgrade took a while for me to adjust to, but it was worth it. Logitech is ahead of their game with gaming mice. I love the customization with weight. The ergonomic handle would catch the eye of many who are new to the gaming industry. My only complaint is the size. Although I said it has an ergonomic handle, it takes some use to really get used to it. Overall 910.

Stay away The switches are absolute junk, the ergonomics are good but the scroll wheel bearings are definitely cheap and nowhere near as good as they were on the G500 my previous mouse was a G500 which lasted for 9 years before dying. This mouse is DEFINITELY NOT for people with small hands The software is on good but the only downside is the RGB lighting in which the white color when chosen is actually blue…. In fact the white RGB color is nowhere close to the white on the Logiteh G413 gaming keyboard. Do NOT get this if youre thinking that the WHITE color is going to work with an actual bright white computer build or white accessories because it wont I have the Logitech G413 Silver keyboard which actually has WHITE lights under the keycaps. The difference between the two is night and day. Other than the aforementioned items the mouse is nice. If the quality had been as good as the G500 and the RGB white was actually white, I would have given this 5 stars

I have been trying to file a warranty claim on the Logitech website but after making an account, registering my product, and going through various hoops, the support ticket page didnt load. Probably not worth fixing this piece of garbage anyway. Ive looked it up and realized this a common issue with this product but Logitech obviously doesnt care they will continue to sell it. Save your money and avoid this product.

As a gamers we are never satisfied with our mouse when we are playing. Things like too small, or not the right size, please more buttons, I dont like this or that can be coming from anyone. But, after using different ones and so far I really really like this one by a lot.ProsExactly the right buttons that I was looking for. Amazing feeling on my hand because you know I have normal hands. Build quality and ergonomics are solid. Also, the weight is adjustable and the software is really easy to use.Cons To me NONE.

I was initially excited to own this mouse. I heard extremely good reviews. However, the description provided by Logitech is extremely misleading, there arenot 11 programmable buttons, only 9. The color options in the Logitech GHub the programming interface are horrendous. It provides a color wheel to choose from, but the colors reflected by the mouse do match what is on screen. I have a baby pink, black and white setup, and the color on my mouse is purple not pink. I have tried multiple times to match the colors of my LED strip and Razer Keyboard, but it will not do it. On top of this, my mouse stops working The Logitech GHub completely crashes and will not allow an uninstall. It is just sitting on my hard drive. I can not install a new version or delete the old one. The buttons on my mouse have been reversed. The right click is now the primary click and the middle button scroll wheel is now the secondary. The left button no longer works. I have uninstalled drivers, reinstalled, restarted and tried the GHub again, and nothing works. I will be returning this mouse in favor of Razer. Thank goodness I purchased the protection plan. It conveniently stops working 2 days after the return period.

This is my first gaming mouse and it was a huge upgrade over my old standard office grade mouse. Immediately I could feel the responsiveness in clicks during gameplay. Once I set the mouse up, it blew me away wthe ingame responsiveness. I mainly play one game, where youre in a tank. The click responsiveness helped in upclose battles, getting that shot off as soon as its available. Ive noticed Im now winning more of those battles. I cant say its me, its the mouse responsiveness. It fits in either hand as I game with the mouse in my left hand, the mouse is geared for righthand use, but it fits in my left wout issue until I try to physically pick the mouse up and at that point I inadvertently hit one of the buttons where if it were in my right hand, you could use your thumb to click it, but that button hasnt been assigned, so it does nothing in the game when I do so. Overall a great mouse, it has weights to simulate having batteries or you can have no weights in it. Id have to say the step up in responsiveness was notice and worth what I paid for in the mouse. I saw this mouse on a best gaming mouse under 50 vid and yes, I was impressed with it and I would highly recommend it for beginners to advanced players. Im not a pro, but I have played my current title for 8 years and it has elevated my game. Whether you get this mouse or not, a gaming mouse will be an improvement to gaming wa common homeoffice mouse. I highly recommend this one as a super solid choice for an intro to gaming mice.

I thought that the first mouse was a fluke. Maybe just bad luck. The second mouse made me research it further and I see so many people out there with the same exact issue. It would seem that Logitech has dropped the ball with the buttons used in this mouse. They will not be getting my money for a third try. Time to try someone else. After two mice with the same issue, I cant recommend it. I gave it a couple stars for design only. The extra buttons are great. Software worked well enough.

I am sure for someone who is a Gamer this is nothing special, but I bought this for work. I run three monitors and Im constantly moving the curser all over it is a great tool for work. You are able to control the curser speed, the scroll wheel will disengage for a smooth roll if you want to scroll quickly. But the coolest feature that I have never had before is there are weights that go into the bottom of the mouse to give it weight obviously from just a few weights to all of them, depending on how much or how little heft you want…. it really helps with control and navigating the mouse. I will buy another one soon for my home office.

By far my favorite PC gaming mouse. The only reason I swapped this one out is because they also make a wireless one thats just as good. This mouse has great button placement, good action, great tracking, on board memory, rgb, and good weight to it. It really feels great in a claw grip or palm. The dpi settings are highly customizable and the button mapping is pretty deep. The scroll wheel is probably the only weak point in that the clicklocked scrolling feature feels a lil weird sometimes. But it such a non issue in the grand scheme of things. Its the only mouse Ill honestly use for the foreseeable future.

So I bought my mouse as part of a combo with an ssd on 4152020. My old mouse was having problems with its right click so I got this one since its body is the same as my old one. About a week ago my left click started acting up. It would just act like I let go of the button even tho I had not and sometimes doesnt even register me clicking at all. This causes a major problem since I bought it to play games with while I stream and if I cant shoot then I get killed and I get upsetangry which makes my streams less enjoyable. Now I have to figure out what kind of mouse to get again. The mouse I had before this lasted for like 2 years so this is a major disappointment.

Im personally happy with this mouse, and it is worth its price. Functionally, the product works fine and is easy to configure for standard use. It is necessary to manage the mouse with Logitechs proprietary GHub software, but this is easy to use also. The shape of this mouse is not designed for everyone. It is designed to have an ergonomic and natural grip, and it is pretty comfortable for me most of the time, but at times the mouse doesnt feel like it fits my hand. I recommend physically inspecting this mouse for comfort before purchasing. Finally, the buttons on the mouse are configurable but doing so is more complicated than was implied to me at purchase. Additional applicationssoftware may be necessary to map the mouse buttons depending the intended use, however, this product works just fine out of the box after initial setup through GHub.

After owning a competing brands mouse for a few years, I decided to upgrade my mouse as I had always heard great things about Logitech products. The mouse initially has a good feel to it, with the options to add weights to it to customize it more to your liking. The software for this mouse allows you to change the LED lighting settings, preset DPI options, and what the buttons on the mouse do. Overall pretty standard for a gaming mouse. However, I have had a fair amount of issues with the left clicking button. I play a fair amount of online FPS and I started noticed a weird issue. During the middle of me holding down the left button to interact with a weapon, my weapon spray would just stop. At first I just discounted it as a glitch in the game as the mouse was virtually brand new at that point and the only time I experienced the issue was in that game.At this point, the mouse is unusable. When I try to click on some things, the computer will think I am double clicking. If i try to drag things across windows the mouse will stop sending signals to the computer causing frustration. It happens at random so I might be able to drag something successfully or it might stop sending signal after I drag it a quarter inch across the screen. At this point, I cant recommend this mouse. If you do your own research and look for Logitech G502 clicking issues you will find tons of results with the same or similar issues as mine. I have now gone back to using my old mouse and have reached out to Logitechs customer support multiple times to hear resolution but have came up dry each time.

Pros Very comfortable grip Seamless WIFI and bluetooth connection Great placement of buttons Very long battery life Stylish but subtle design Extremely easy to set up CustomisableCons Expensive The batteries are not rechargeable Quite heavy for a mouseThe G604 Mouse from Logitech is very easy to set up and can connect via USB or blue tooth. The connectivity is fantastic and on par with a wired mouse in terms of response time and seamlessness. Just make sure you download Logitech G Hub to allow you to customise your mouse setting i.e. commands, sensitivity, macros etc. The G Shift functionality allows for a secondary set of mouse commands which give you an extra six or eight button commands. Another quirky feature is that you can save five DPI sensitivity settings and switch through these speeds with the mouse. As mentioned previously it can connect via bluetooth or USB, you can also switch between the two with the click of a button, for example I was able to connect to the pc via USB then switch to my laptop via bluetooth with one click. The G604 has a stylish yet subtle design, it is an ergonomic mouse with an extending thumb rest that allows for a comfortable yet good grip. There are six thumb buttons, two buttons next to the left click for DPI sensitivity you can select five DPI speeds through the Logitech G HUB software, the scroll wheel clicks in three directions and there are two buttons at the centre where the mouse wheel is these buttons control the mouse wheel tension and connectivity. The buttons well placed and have slight protrusions for ease of locating and are easy to click. The G604 excelled in performance across a wide range of games including classic WOW, Fortnite, FFXIV, GTA5 and Dota 2. The mouse was great for strategy games, MMOs and can be utilised as a standard mouse for pointing and clicking only. The only real negatives would be that is heavy, probably one of the heaviest I have used. In addition, the G604 uses disposable batteries. It is 2019 after all and you would expect at the very least that this would be rechargeable, however this is a slight gripe which may not annoy others. Overall, I am very impressed with this mouse especially as my previous mouses have been Logitech, so it is an improvement previous models and you are guaranteed a reliable good quality mouse.

Overall the build quality is good. It seems to be made with high quality materials and has some weight to it. It glides across a typical mouse pad very well with no issues. It is a bit on the smaller size for those with larger hands. All of this could be looked over if it wasnt for the horrendous software that you install to use this…Sadly I saw nothing but issues with the Logitech G Hub software. It is probably the worst peripheral management software I have ever used. Custom profiles never switched over, it constantly ignored changes and tweaks that I made, and my sensitivity would randomly change incessantly. No amount of tinkering and troubleshooting would work. I even tried different USB ports and complete reinstallation.I know I am in the minority due to the overwhelming love of this mouse by the gaming community. However, the software issues alone are enough for me to just look for something else. I will be returning as soon as I possibly can.

Bought this to replace my G502 Proteus Spectrum that gave out after near 3 years of use. Very similar near the exact same mouse thats a newer better model with upgraded software hardware. Slight varations here there that I prefer the feel of but like the older model not a fan of the mouse wheel. If it werent for the poorly done plastic mouse wheel they used a rubber mouse wheel like the old mx518 or G402 itd be near perfect excellent mouse for gaming. But it falls short mainly cuz if this one design flaw IMO.Also could have been cheaper but had to buy it since needed a new gaming mouse while the price of it was so so.

The G904 feels like a lot of thought has gone into the little things which refine this as a really top quality gaming mouse. As you would expect it has a comfortable feel and fit in your hand but the extra texturing around the thumb groove is an example of going the extra distance which does make a difference when being used over a long period.Similarly the way the 6 side buttons are arranged in the 3×2 block but with each having a slightly different shape and height as to make them distinguishable by feel is something Logitech obviously thought about and could have very easily not implemented but the fact they have makes it stand out as a top level gaming product.Having the ability to connect via both dongle and Bluetooth is a nice feature especially for anyone who may have a separate gaming rig to a general home use Laptop or PC. Battery life and range for Bluetooth connectivity both impress here. Above the connectivity button below the scroll wheel there is another button to select scroll wheel tension, if Im being super critical it may have been nice for a 3rd tension setting somewhere between the two available settings. The wheel itself is fairly chunky and sits quite high up, has fairly deep grooves which grip well and clicks both sides as well as down.Bit of a shame its not got USB charge capability in this day and age but a 240 hour battery life from a single battery is impressive. In terms of gaming, the programmability of the mouse really comes into its own for real time strategy and MMO role playing games. How far you want to go with it is really up to you as with the number of buttons and profiles offering near endless possibilities. As a World of Warcraft player its been a really good upgrade, the difference in high pressure situations has been noticeable.Overall I think its a great piece of kit, 1 or 2 little things stop it being perfect but in terms of shape, feel, functionality and overall performance its everything I am looking for in a high end gaming mouse.

I grew up playing PlayStation systems on controller and recently wanted to take up pc gaming. This mouse is awesome for that with all the programmable buttons on it, it definitely smooths the transition. Make sure to download the mouse software from logitech to program your buttons and set your sensitivity to find something that works for you. Im newer and set mine to 400 DPI and then customized my sensitivity in game as well. Find a combination that works for you. Very happy with the response time and performance of this mouse and as a new pc gamer I highly recommend

Up until not Ive always used wire mouses as I need instant response for accuracy whwn gaming. I was hesitant to step outside my comfort zone with my preconceptions of lag from relying on a wireless signal. So from a few weeks use, have even had a few days leave from work so the G604 was tested out thoroughly across a few different games on my desktop. It lived up to its name lightspeed, I could not identify any delay during gameplay. So far the battery life has been great, Ive used a reputable battery so Im hoping to not have to replace it for another 200 or so hours of use. The scrolling functions are incredibly useful, and quite intuitive. Dont think I could go back to normal mouse scroll functions now. The mouse itself is the lightest gaming mouse Ive used, doesnt feel bulky at all, considering how many functions it is capable of.

Great mouse for the price. I still have an original G502 that works, but the cord was kinked and fraying a bit. Also the metal of the scroll wheel had spotty rust spots building up on it. Picked up a new one because to see what maybe changed.Feels nearly identical and and works with either the old Logitech Gaming Software or G HUB.The only major difference I can notice is the USB cord is thinner and lighter. The braiding on it seems better too. A nice improvement. The scroll wheel coating seems better. However,I wish it had the rubberized coating on the scroll wheel like the wireless version though.I have an average sized hand and am a palm grip. The tip of my thumb reaches the sniper button enough to easily tap with my grip. I use that button primarily for push to talk.

My first gaming mouse was a Logitech MX518 more than 14 years ago. It was so good Ive only used Logitech mice and mostly keyboards since then. My most recent Logitech mouse, G502 from a couple of years ago, has been awesome, 5 stars. This mouse is so bad its actually unusable. The deal breaking issues are the new scroll wheel design and the body was warped so it didnt sit flat. I also have a MX Master 3 from work and it has the same scroll design. I had to use my own mouse for work because the scroll is so frustrating.I wont be buying another Logitech product anytime soon.
