Dont try to compare this to a Full Video Conference System. Its not a 510K replacement.Its 1080P and absolutely gorgeous picture. Ours outputs to a 55 Samsung LED TV. The eyeball height could be slightly higher. Sound is great, it takes all sound from the installed computer its running off of. Used with the shipped cabling and work great.Installation was a breeze with drivers downloaded from Logitech. Running with LifeSize Soft Phone software, works great.Really a compelling, low cost, small conference room 23 people solution.

Im not an IT person and was able to set this up in our conference room for a multiSkype call and it worked great. I even purchased an additional microphone just in case and didnt need it. I have no experience with any other device like this, so I cant say if the quality is better or worse, but everything seemed fine for both sides of my conference call.

The camera was not meant to work with Logitech software. Disagree with the other reviewer, this product is for IT pros in a corporate environment, but it is for those without big budgets. It was meant to replace integrated webcams and be paired with 3rd party software such as SkypeWebexGTMZoom etc.

I bought this as a back up for a BCG950 that I have had 4 years. The original is still functioning well with almost daily use, has made 28 round trips to Alaska, and performs as well as my original 3000 video camera. The small camera can be set up in front of the monitor, which gives the person on the other end the perception that you are looking them in the eye when you look directly at the snall PTZ camera.

This model is in a class all on its own. Logitech software was NOT designed to be used with this model even though it will work at low resolution with Logitech software. This is a good device I deducted a star as this device does not have a USB C cable interface.From a usability point this device is ergonomically a little awkward for the desktop or even in a small conference room as you need to have it placed in the line of site of the monitor so that everyone is looking into the camera and not askew as people tend to look at the monitor to see the other participants.

Recent trans national rounds using WebExve comments on sound video quality. Does great job, way better than using standard WebCams for group 2 people. Easy to set up, good audio quality speakers mike. Only 2 concerns 1. No obvious way to replace battery on remote, what do when dies 2. Red mute light difficult to see on base risk intruding without meaning to. Would have been much better on camera head alongside blue video light, everyone then know that mike muted.

Performance is great. Prior to purchase we had an echoing room, and a reg webcam onto of the conference TV, this was picking up the TV and wall echo and was terrible for remote guests, as they could hear themselves 12 a second later. Installed this and as the cam outputs the sound itself, it knows what to not listen to in its own mic. As for wall echo in the wall room, reduced by 90 to a low volume rumble in remote viewers ears. The stalk is a but weak for my liking but ok, the camera plugs into the bas via a USB MiniB 5pin plug basecam, so the the stick is a USB MiniB 5pin extension, I happen to have one of these and the cam will run down a 2 meter cable at least should you ever need to do this unlikely Also the Cam worked on its own without a base station using a reg typea to minib cable, warning 1 machine i plugged it into like this the picture was garbled, 2 others it was fine, CavEmp I guess Remote for turning cam is fine, but the turns are a bit chunky, not a smooth turn but a bunch of steps, aka set the thing up for where you want it and leave it alone. Over all great conference cam

I bought this for using zoom.us and other videoconferencing to teach technical skills over long distances. The quality of the camera is very good for normal video conferencing. It captures and sends a smooth stream of 1080p video. For most videoconferencing, this will be very good. Downsides for the camera 1. It does not photograph close up very well. Although the camera is good, it needs at least 4 inches to get a solid focus, and even then it has problems 2. It has problems with shiny objects. There arent many adjustments to use to compensate, which limits the cameras use filming or photographing reflective surfaces 3. The panning features are OK, but very jerky. As an aside, the first camera I recived was defective. The panzoom controls on the videoconferencing base didnt work, but BH quickly replaced it and the replacement worked just as it should.

I love the video quality and the ability to adjust the camera with the remote control. How did I get along without this before I highly recommend this to anyone who does a lot of video conferencing even if it is only you on camera.

The remote can sometimes have to be pressed twice to get it to respond. The focus isnt great since it doesnt recognize your face it can focus on what you dont want it to and there is no manual focus. Its not terrible, but it is something to keep in mind if that is critical to you. The colors arent perfect, variances in black often show up as just solid, like if you had a pair of pleated pants you might not see the pleat. The zoom could be better and I wish it was optical for the price I paid. I would have liked the camera to be able to point down more than it does. The colors are good and it works well if you have decent lighting. The audio is very clear and the noise cancelling is excellent. You can hear my computer in a quiet room from 20 feet away and it will cancel that out. Knowing what I know today I would buy it again, theres nothing like it at this price point in the market that I am aware of.

We use this camera for small conferences and group conferences of up to 25 people. The remote control that controls the camera head is a nice feature that allows us to position the camera in the direction of the person speaking during the conference. Noise cancelling capability is nice and audio quality is decent. A talk indicator, indicating if the someone is speaking on the other end while the call is in progress would be a nice feature add. Overall great low cost video conference solution.

We are using this camera with GoToMeeting and the picture quality is excellent. Like having the pan, tilt and zoom features, but wish they were a little smoother. So far havent been able to get the audio from the conferencing portion of this unit to work with GTM, but were still working with it. Over all, a very nice webcam with very cool features.

However, our daughter offered one of our young grandchildren to connect it if ever I need help again.The small rat I know it is not the mouse. is easy to use to focus and aim the camera. I am working to master the MUTE. My friends are dumfounded that I now have a picture on the ZOOM checkerboard. They were used to seeing me as the black box on the screen with my name on it.Life is Out of this World now with ET by my side.

Ive had many web cams over the years, both Logitech and a host of other brands but Logitech has always been my go to cam. The Logitech BCC950 Conference Cam which Ive recently purchased is a step above its predecessors. Im not to savvy with the use of computers and technical things so the simpler they are to use for me the better, and the Logitech BCC950 Conference Cam was just that, simple to set up and to use and that to me is huge. Its a joy to use and often find myself making reasons to put it to use. As advertised the Carl Zeiss lens delivers a crystal clear image, and the audio is clear and crisp as well. I use my BCC950 for Skype and personal cam applications with family and friends and it is the best Ive had to date, I would confidently and happily recommend BCC950 to anyone that wants a cam that delivers and performs better than rest, this being my opinion I suggest that you buy one and determine for yourself. We had a business meeting via webex and needed to fit more than one person in the screen. With this camera everything went smoothly. We were able to zoom and move the camera with the remote to who was talking as well as show everyone at once. Audio on it worked wonderfully as well. Would easily recommend.

This is an excellent product for small team meetings. The video clarity is sharp, and the sound is great. My only real complaint, but it will probably be in higher end product, is that the video camera stand is rigid and not telescopic. The additional cost is rather nominal and it will make the product much more versatile. One other suggestion for the manufacturer is to create a version of the product in which the camera can swing toward the speaker. But I realize this is a significant upgrade. But as anyone here can tell, I am focusing on enhancements in this review because there are very few criticism of a product at this pricing point. Its a good investment.

I had this conference cam for about 7 years already but sadly I wasnt too careful where I placed it and my daughter stumbled over the cord and broke the camera. I tried other cameras, 4k capable but nothing compared to this one. I had to purchase it again. I love that you can zoom in our out, you can control the volume and its a true PTZ camera with a remote control. I do wish it would be possible to mount in on a tripod but Its not intended for that purpose. The echo cancelling mic is an added bonus, you can have a fan a full speed and the other parties dont know its on. Expensive but worth it.

We purchased the BCC950 to support a remote crosscountry Board Meeting presentation. We set up the camera facing a whiteboard, and ran a webinar package to present the slides and the camera.We showed the Board how to switch between slides and the whiteboard view… and then did a full 2 hour meeting. The quality of the image was perfect, the audio was using their words … surprisingly clear… and we are now in the process of setting up a conference room for fulltime use as a studio to reduce travel.The camera was approximately 56 feet away from the whiteboard, and the presenter was just in front of that whiteboard. The room, however, was designed as a board room to seat 10, and everyone on the room was clearly audible to the Board members on the other side so the actual range was a bit better than the box advertised.The handheld remote for the zoompanmute features was handy and worked flawlessly. We tested the device connected to a laptop in both wireless and wired mode. We used the ethernet connection for the actual meeting, but the wireless testing seemed fine, as well.We had considered buying the next larger device the cylinder, but the only thing that appeared to provide was support for a larger roomaudience. Until we find any issues with tthe BCC950, were sticking with it. It did the job well

Perfect solution for a small meeting rooms. Out of the box you will have camera which moves all around 270 degrees Noise cancelling speaker and microphone. Just add a laptop and all ready. We are using Google Meet application with it and it works perfectly. All other solutions cost at least 3 times more.

I bought the BCC for conferencing essentially. While I cant really see the quality for myself, people at the other end have commented about its clarity and sharpness. Sound is good but tends to go a little muffled when you more a few metres away from the camera. Fortunately, with conferencing, you dont really need to move that far from the camera. So overall, I think its a great buy and the delivery took 4 days from shipment. Considering I am in Singapore, that is excellent stuff by BH to ensure we dont have to wait weeks for our items to arrive, no matter which part of the world you are in.
