Ive owned this board for 4.5 years and used it on average a few hours a day for that whole time. Its still working like it did day one with minimal visual wear on a couple keys which is all I could have asked for. I would say this is the perfect midrangeprice keyboard for people who use their computer as both a workstation and gaming rig.

All the keys are very responsive and quiet, over all a great product to have and play on it.

The best to describe it is its responsiveness and accuracy. Im always guaranteed the key I hit is the skill I want during gaming. The software is bug free and easy to use, unlike Corsair Strafe RGB. Highly recommend.

This is a brilliant mechanical keyboard, having CherryMX Brown switches gives an audible and responsive typing experience. As more of a media keyboard its alright, the volume wheel is fluid and weightless. All the buttons do what theyre supposed to. Works really well with Spotify

I was probably just unlucky and got a bad board, however that takes an egg away. The only oddity I found with the board is that all the symbols are below the numbers, and for some reason the symbols on the right are all flipped, meaning the symbol input that you hold shift and the key press is under the regular input ex. is above , when on a standard keyboard is above

Great entry level MX switch keyboard. If you are on the fence about buying an expensive MX switch keyboard, try this one first to see if you like it. Great feel and features for the price.

Pros Solid, well made with a nice clacking sound.Cons The standard lighting wave pattern and the fact I have to install a program to change it.

I absolutely would NOT buy this keyboard again because of the lighting defaults, and it makes me question whether I should even consider Logitech for future keyboards.

Great gaming mechanical keyboard. The red switches feel very nice and the keyboard feels really sturdy. The added scroll well is really useful for changing volume when listening to music also. Would 100 recommend

I really enjoy using this keyboard. I love the fact that it has just a white backlight and a very clean aesthetic. The Cherry MX Red keys feel very nice, and I LOVE the volume wheel. Dedicated media buttons are always a plus too, and you can create macros and such in the software. Overall, I would consider this to be a great keyboard with very high quality.

Great Keyboard if you can score a great deal. Retail they sell for 89.99 USD. I purchased mine for 75.00 USD. Great price for a great product. Simple look but works great on 1 single USB

Because Microcenter has price matching. this product can easily be matched to much lower costing sights and can save you a lot of money. If you are looking for a keyboard that you could get under 100 With price match, this is one of the best feeling keyboards out there. Its simple yet comes with a lot of features, including media buttons, volume controller, and a windows lock key. Overall, an amazing keyboard that feels awesome and looks great.

Highly recommended, especially at this price range. Build quality is excellent. The keyboard feels sturdy, heavy and cherry mx red keys are not only great for gaming, they are very easy to type on and also very quiet, especially at night. Ive owned plenty cherry mx brown keys and I think I should have gotten the red key to begin with. The white lighting also compliments the apple products well.

I bought this keyboard for the Cherry Switches and the key back lighting. Having used it for a week, I really feel I should have looked further and maybe saved some money.

This is the my first mechanical keyboard and WOW. I didnt realize large the gap was between regular membrane keyboards and a mechanical keyboard. I plan to start trying out other mechanical keyboards with different switches to see how they stack up against the Cherry MX Red Switches. These Cherry Switches though, are absolutely cherry.

Has nice smooth actuation with a nice amount of resistance.could possibly benefit from switch lube, but perfectly good out of the box. Solid build quality. if on sale it has no competition, but msrp isnt horrible either.

Great keyboard. Keys are good. Do not buy any of their Romer G switched keyboards, they go out and are not as good for gaming. This is their best and simplest Keyboard. I only with it had programmable macro keys.

I bought this to have a professional mechanical keyboard at work. Openly, I will admit the Cherry MX switches are nice compared to my Corsair K70. There is still noise, but installing orings made that issue lessen. Pros Quality, durable, easy to use Lighting effects are cool Offset, braided USB cable is well constructed Dualangle legs are well designed and labeled. Cons Logitech Gaming Software will be required for controlling lighting effects as some games take over the lighting profile. Keycaps fall off rather easily if you transition your hands left or right too quick during a keypress Easily fixable by correcting typing behavior, issue lies mostly in the sixkey and arrow key zone where I spend one or two key clicks at a time before coming back to the main key area Lack of wrist rest makes this keyboard uncomfortable as it is elevated 1.5 inches from the desk

Coming from a penny pincher background with limited keyboard experience, this board is great In the past, I always opted for the cheaper, entry level keyboards. Never again I dont think Ive used a keyboard with such a great tactile feel and satisfying audible feedback since my original IBM AT keyboard. The amount of force required to type is perfectly balanced, for me. I can rest my hands on the keys without accidental strokes. Previous membrane keyboards felt like they required more force to register strokes, so typing on the G610 feels effortless. The backlighting makes it easier to use in low light setting. Although the board has a button that allows you to change brightness of the backlighting, the default setting is to have the keys light up in a wave. Since the human eye is attracted to motion, I find it very distracting to have a wave of light travel across my keyboard. I wish the default setting was to have a constant backlighting, so this is where my rating falls to 4 stars. Id prefer to not install more software on my PC, but I was forced to install Logitechs software to control the backlighting. Another minor complaint is the placement of the caps lockscroll locknum lock indicator lights. To make room for media control buttons, the indicator lights were moved to the top middle of the board, where it is not so intuitive to figure out which light is which. There are labels etched under each light, but they are unreadable, even in decent lighting levels. Overall, I would highly recommend this board to anyone.

My old Dell YRAQDEL2 BT keyboard died after a decade of use which I still miss dearly. I understand that this is for gaming but working on at home office desk requires that I type constantly. The features outlined below was what I needed which isnt offered with current standard keyboards or at least I cant find.Pro1. taller keys not surface flush ones which hurts my wrist2. knob volume adjuster as its so much easier and comfortable to adjust volume by knob than buttons3. doesnt cost me since there are newer versions out4. setting adjustment dont require special app I can use lighting key 1,2,…5 to adjust different modes or my preferred mode of no lighting.ConsThe feature that I miss but not on this keyboard but I had to settle because this is the closest thing that I can get.1. BT fast response is important for gaming but this is for home office and I need to reduce clutter.2. Mechanical clicking its definite not quiet but not super loud either… I was on conference call and everyone can hear me type and talk at the same time it was distracting.3. lighting I dont care about flashing lights Im sure many dont either. The newer models have RGB, I definitely dont need those. I type well and dont need to look at my keyboard.4. corded because of lighting, its corded… as mentioned before I preferred BT.5. Key arrangement typo happens all the time and the back key is right below F11 and F12. It would have been nice if the F11 and F12 could have shifted left and have empty space above instead. I keep accidentally pressing on F11 and F12.

Gives you all the benefits of a mechanical keyboard with less noise and weight than others. The keyboard lighting itself is well done and not distracting, even at night. The click itself is satisfying but not do loud and aggressive youll wake the neighbors.

Logitech G610 Orion Reds, with Cherry MX Red switches. Pretty solid design Sturdy board with no noticeable flex I dont know what situation you would be in to bend said keyboard though. It is matte black along the top, with a glossy kind of plastic wrapping around all sides of the board. Coming from a longtime PC gamer, the Cherry MX Reds are perfect for FPS games like Counter Strike and Rainbow Six Siege The actuation does take some getting used to, like how you dont have to slam the keys down all the way for them to register. It is a good change though, and helps me with pressing keys in quicker succession, like when Im using Q and E often to peek in Rainbow Six. I live in a small apartment, so Im set up in the living room. Sometimes people come over and sleep on the couch, and the Red switches are definitely a lot quieter than my old membrane keyboard. I also bought some rubber Orings to go along with it just so it is even quieter once the keys bottom out, and they work really well Its a very clean layout, not an overly aggressive typeface for the characters. The lights are only white, but can still be configured with different brightnesses and settings in the Logitech Gaming Software I also have a Logitech G302 Daedalus mouse and although they do not sync lighting when set to breathe, you can configure them in the same program. I just want to be able to see my keys in the night time with dim lighting conditions, so the white LEDs definitely cater more towards quieter setups. I dont really have any complaints so far, Ive had this keyboard for over a couple months now, and Im pretty happy with it

This is one of the best keyboards I have ever used. It is the best because it uses Cherry MX Brown switches. These are in my opion the best version of the range of Cherry MX Switches. These switches give a tactile bump that is good for gaming but also amazing for typing, all without being obnoxiously loud, like the Cherry MX Blue switches. However this keyboard is lacking in the premium features that are present in Logitechs G810 Orion Spectrum, namely it is lacking in RGB lighting. Because of the lacking features this leads me to belive that it is a stripped down version of the G810, but this is compensated for by the lower price point that this keyboard holds. Never the less I still love this keyboard, and this keyboard is a great all rounder for both typing and gaming alike. Also this review is so long, simply because I LOVE typing on this keyboard D

I looked for more that a couple months to try and find the right mechanical keyboard for me. Im not a gamer by any stretch of the imagination but I do play from time to time. This keyboard is absolutely what I was looking for. No flashy RGB or anything else I didnt really need. Its great to type on and for the occasional gaming session. Highly recommend this keyboard if youre looking for an entry level board. Get it on sale at 80 and youll be as happy as I am.

Pros Keys have a nice, definitive feel to them, Cherry brown switches are a great balance between feel and noise.Cons The key lighting brightness plays up, regardless of LGS Logitech Gaming Software being installed and uptodate. Sometimes you have to select the brightness level manually each time you start your computer and this can be very annoying.

the keys are perfectly spaced unlike razer mech keyboards i love these cherry mx reds. a nice change from my old cherry mx blues. ill be swapping back and forth, but so far i prefer the reds on this Orion. its also near impossible to find a keyboard with dedicated volume wheel and media keys… so yeah very awesome. i cant stand rgb on a keyboard, it messes with my eyes too much, the subtle white LED backlightin on this is lovely and nondistracting

The keyboard if fantastic and relatively cheap for a mechanical keyboard. The cherry mx brown switches are very easy to press down and give that satisfying clunk when typing. Only downside Ive had is the lack or a wrist rest and that at brighter settings the backlighting can be an eyesore.

This is my first mechanical keyboard, I spend a fair bit of time drooling over them and trying out a few different models and ended up choosing this one because i didnt want a row of macro keys i would never use and wanted dedicated media keys. The backlighting has plenty of options with the software and a handful for those who dont want the software, if you want to go the no software route the keyboard defaults to a lightwave effect that is very annoying and holding the backlight key while pressing the number keys i forget exactly which range of keys and the individual effects but 1 is solid backlight, if you choose software youll be pleased at the level of customization as every lighted element can be adjusted including the capsnumscroll lock indicators which by default are a tad brighter than i prefer, if i were to have any criticism about controlling the lights with the software it would be the brightness control can be tricky to get the happy medium at times there are no orings or other sound dampening measures on this keyboard so bottoming the keys will come with a very noticable clack… orings can always be installed to reduce this though i found with orings the G610 is still a little louder than the G710 which also uses MX browns but comes with preinstalled orings overall a great keyboard id give it a 5 but the loudness of the media keys is worth pulling back at least half an egg but since i cant do half…

Cherry MX switches, all the basic layout functionality you need, plus in my opinion, one of its best features media controls and a volume wheel in the upper right. Have had it about 1year and i have zero complaints. It was hard to find a keyboard with this quality at the sub 100 price point, and which didnt also have gratuitous gamer elements rgb etc. The basic backlighting white is excellent. Id prefer if it had a wider range of dimmodes there are 4, and all are pretty bright but its a minor gripe.

I love this Keyboard, Very satisfying to use and has withstood much abuse from my gaming exploits. I also eat at my desk and i just move the keyboard out of the way so sometimes its gets dirty. The key caps make it SUPER easy to clean. Even though there are other Models with RGB this model is only white light backlit. I didnt want to put that as a Con because i specifically wanted one that wasnt RGB. I would recommend this keyboard for ANYONE

This keyboard is amazing. After using this keyboard I can never go back to a keyboard that doesnt have dedicated media controls, and the volume wheel has spoiled me. PROS Keys feel great to type on Lighting is bright, and having a key dedicated to adjusting that brightness is a nice bonus V O L U M E W H E E L and other dedicated media keys make this an incredible keyboard if you enjoy listening to music while doing other tasks playing games and such Very sturdy and rigid casing Its Logitech, their stuff lasts longer than some of my older computers CONS No RGB lighting only white No USB passthrough This might sound like a nitpick but the cable for my mouse needs plenty of extra room so that it doesnt drag the mouse around, having a USB port in the keyboard prevents this sort of issue No wrist wrest personally I dont care much about that but I know some people who would Do note that the Red keys are linear and not mechanical or clicky, if you would prefer more tactile feedback then you should look for the G610 Orion Brown. This is otherwise a great keyboard for the price and I would highly recommend it.

This is the best keyboard Ive found. I was very impressed with the salesman who showed it to me and unboxed and plugged it in for me to get hands on with before buying.I have to stretch to even find something I dislike about it. All high end keyboards seem to have a kind of loose spacebar. It isnt something Ive noticed while using. Only in physical examination.Just as a note it only lights up white, which is really nice.Individually lit keys. You can create custom profiles for which lights you want on or off. Quick button for changing brightness on the keyboard. Volume roller with mute and quick basic media play keys. Macro program software options. Solid weight and wide footprint rubber pads mean keyboard is extremely grounded. No moving around when gaming. Very solid keys make fast typing very comfortable and pleasant. Impressive response time. No extra nonsense added to get in the way. The software is decent. Its not often Im ecstatic about anything, but this was the best purchase. I recommended this to a friend whos keyboard arrived yesterday. Hes used it for a couple of days and said hes very glad I recommended it and hes very impressed as I have been.

I purchased this product March 8th 2021, as a replacement for my nonmechanical gaming keyboard. This is the first gaming keyboard Ive owned, i can only think of Pros when discussing this keyboard as you pay for what you get. I bought it on sale for 79.99, this includes Cherry MX Red switches which are very quick, and silent, and also includes 8 multimedia keys which I use almost daily. The keyboard is wired and the backlighting I personally enjoy as my case is white so it matches the aesthetic. There is also software you can download to tune the keyboards backlighting so thats a plus All in All, this was my most valuable purchase and it also includes a warranty if you register so thats an even bigger advantage.

  73. blank

    cat5fred

Feels very, very good, high quality keyboard, this review is for the Cherry MX red switches model, there is one for brown which is quieter and might be a better choice in a crowded environment. Only one color lighting is offered white. You can define which keys you want lit up, which helps for specific software, including gaming. However, it is not a true gaming laptop. When pressing multiple keys and holding them down it doesnt transmit whatever keys you pressed, only the first one that was actuated, you have to repeatedly press each key in order to get all the keys sent to the computer. I thought the gaming profile it found for the game I was playing CSGO would address this but I can see in actual play that it doesnt. For regular touch typists this is a very good keyboard. It does make noise but not like the original IBM model M, which was a springtype of keys. And the main gripe about the software. There is no easy way to switch profiles based on what program you are about to use, you have to open the control program and select or adjust the settings, very annoying. I paid 70 with shipping included. Based on the capabilities of other keyboards I can only give it a 4 star rating. almost gave it a three but its build quality is undeniable, so staying with a 4 star.

I bought this for use in the office and it has not disappointed. Its stays sturdy on my desk while I am moving around and the switches feel great.
