In a time when its been difficult to get a hold of top of the line communication equipment, I was thrilled to stumble upon this option from Logitech After reading a number of reviews, I decided Logitech was the mfr. for me. A major factor is their adaptable mounting system that works well with monitor or tripod. I was also drawn to this product because of its HD quality, smart autofocus that isnt overzealous, light correction abilities, builtin sliding privacy shutter, quality microphone, generous length USB cable, and plug and play setup. The camera has worked flawlessly for the past month and a half on Zoom meetings.

The picture and sound quality is excellent and the privacy slide is an added and very welcome bonus. It fits perfectly atop my HP monitor. I was looking for a webcam that would work with my MacBook Pro and the monitor so I would not have to take the computer out of its docking station. The only instruction was to plug it into a USB port. I did so and when I started Zoom to check on the picture it worked right away. However, to get the audio to work on an actual Zoom meeting, I had to reboot the computer. Thats probably normal anyway and I dont consider that a problem though the instructions should probably say that.

Definitely a better camera than the one in my computer. The auto focus works well. Not great for low light, but none of these small sensor cameras are going to work well like that, so just get a ring light. Ability to position it on top of my external monitor or wherever I want is a big plus even if it is not unique to this unit. Really like the privacy shade and the big green light that comes on when it is in use.

I bought this to replace a severalyearsold Logitech webcam 9000 Pro that only does 720p video, because its rated at 1080p. However, I can only get 720p from it. Logitech support says its likely that my computer isnt powerful enough to support 1080p. I saw nothing about that when I bought it this webcam. Ill probably keep it anyway.

I downloaded the software and played around with available settings but discovered that the defaults are fine. In Zoom, checking HD gives the wider field of view unchecking HD yields a closeup.

I did quite a bit of shopping before I settled on the Logitech C925e. It seems to have just the right combination of advanced features to last me several years. The best way to tell on a PC what kind of picture youre getting is with the Microsoft Camera app. Most streaming apps have some limit on the quality of image that they use to stream with, so you cant judge this webcam by what you see in one of those apps. I did some tweaking of the settings, and Im really happy with what Im getting from it. Also love the builtin lens cover that didnt have to be attached like an addon. Now Im good to go for the remainder of my computers useful life and probably the next one as well.

Setup was practically automatic on Windows 10 simply connected to an available USB port and it was recognized immediately.Collapsible mounting arm could use some improvement, however. Once mounted, it tends to shift easily when you open or close the lens shutter. There should be more internal tension on the hinges to provide a better fit against the mounting surface of your monitor.

Im an IT professional with decades of experience. No instructions are included with the webcam. Since the webcam can be used on either Windows or Mac computers, Logitech must have decided to be neutral and not provide information for either platform. Logitechs website was useless.It took me almost an hour to find out how to create a desktop shortcut since I wanted to be able to easily access the settings. After googling around and around I finally found a YouTube video not from Logitech that helped.The privacy feature is great as are the different mounting options.

In spite of the apparent confusion on the internet, the C925e DOES NOT WORK WITH Logitech Capture. There appears to be no logical reason for this. So far, I have been unable to find any applications that allow me to manipulate the cameras properties. So, why not just buy a cheaper camera to begin with I cannot recommend this camera.

I have no other webcam to compare it to, but both the video and audio are clearly superior to the builtin ones on my ASUS laptop. It couldnt be easier to use, and the only caveat is that if you wish to combine it with a separate audio source like another USB mike or USB audio interface, you have to disable the Logitech mike in the Win10 advanced audio properties.

We tried an economy webcam which had decent video, but awful audio. We spent 3.5 times more on this Logitech unit. The video seems good and the audio is confirmed crystal clear. 100 satisfied with the purchase. I am not sure that you have to pay this much to get excellent webcam performance, but our only regret is that we wasted money on cheap ones that did not meet our needs instead of first buying this Logitech unit, which meets all of them.

If youre using it for business purposes, e.g. webinars, webcasts, presentations, etc., where you need a wider field of view and potentially to be standing away from the mic i.e. at a whiteboard, this is a great choice. If you need a webcam just for Zooming with familyfriends and the audiovideo quality arent a big concern, there are cheaper options out there that I think would suffice.

My last web cam C310, 720p was over 10 years old and I was looking to upgrade to something more capable with better image quality and sound without spending too much money. Technologywise, this is about a 56 year jump from what I had and very capable, but not the latest, greatest, which keeps the price down. I like the integrated privacy shutter and obvious camera on indicator. Ive gotten some surprised compliments at how clear my voice is coming through a camera without having any issues with audio feedback. I think the biggest surprise was how much wider 78 deg is vs 60 deg and I find that I have to be much more aware of my backgrounds or use the digital zoom to frame myself better, especially since my monitors are pushed back a bit from where I sit 78 deg actually seems narrow compared to some other offerings, so I cant really complain about that. By the time Ive got the image cropped from wide to standard, and zoomed, Im sure Im no longer 1080p quality, but better than starting off at 720p. Controls are good with the companion software and Ive had success with multiple types of web meetings for work. The overlap with my screen narrow bezel is also smaller compared to my previous camera, so I havent had to move it out of the way when not in use. I like the base seems more stable on my screen and like the builtin tripod mount, although I havent found a good way to use it, myself. Im backlit and the pictures OK, but not HDR.

It was backordered for about a week before it was dropshipped directly from Logitech thanks to the surge in demand. Its a fantastic camera, much better than those that are stock on most computers and monitors.For those looking for that bokeh that gives a background blur similar to DLSRs, you wont really find that with this camera, as its super slim and limited. The focus adjust is basically useless, you have to basically be directly in front of it to get that blur.

A nice webam to use for stuff like Zoom, etc. Fits nicely on top of my 22 desktop monitor. However, be sure to go to the Logitech site to download better controls for the cam. The controls allow you to adjust color, zoom range, etc. For those that leave the webcam plugged in there is a slide shade that covers the camera lens. I unplug when not using it.

Very easy to set up an use. The only reason I did not give five stars is that the Setup instructions are too sketchy. The instructions leave out the function of the privacy shutter and the need to open the shutter before operating the Webcam. Not being familiar with privacy shutters, it was frustrating to get the Webcam to work. The instructions should read1. Place your webcam.2. Connect the webcam3. Use the webcam. First open the privacy shutter.

Ive been a huge fan of Logitech webcams for years and have been awaiting the replacement of the C922. For the money, the C925e is hard to beat the video quality in virtually any lighting condition is astounding. The privacy slider is a very nice touch and the monitor mount is solid and grippy.My only complaint is the microphone when testing the webcam initially I had no problem recording test audio. However, when using conferencing applications, the microphone seems to autoadjust and makes it difficult for others to hear me. Additionally, the noise cancellation is moderate, as a nearby air conditioner seems to be echoed in my calls.That said, Im quite happy with the C925e and consider it wellworth the money.

What a great webcam. Recommended to me by a computer technician as a professional quality item and it really is that. The webcam has some sort of gizmo, hardware of software I dont know, that allows it to process images which reduces the processing burden on the computer. My budget priced 10 year old computer is made to look like a high powered new one. The webcams microphones work very well, and there is no problem in using the webcam without a separate microphone. In my case however I found that I prefer using a separate headset microphone. My Andrea headset which is about 15 years old gives me crystal clear audio. I downloaded the current Logitech software that has a zoom function, colour correction, contrast and brightness control and it works like a charm. Worth every penny

In the days of Covid madness, I use this every day for work meetings. My desk faces a window which made for blown out images during the daytime. This camera, while not the most expensive or highest quality, solves the problem. There is obvious light adjustment and the background is clear on video. The only time I look shiny white is when the sun is directly on my face. Acceptable, I would say.It remains hooked on my monitor without any issues of falling or slipping, even when raising my desk up and down standingsitting. Easy to set up simply plug in with USB and change meeting application settings.I recommend for the price.

I have used the C920 before for Zoom calls. This 925e business version is very similar to the C920 but I found it cheaper and more available at the time. The internatl shutter is hand and the microphones seem to be better than the C920. The mouting mechanism is solid the webcam stays griped on the top of my monitor even if I bump the screen. Windows 10 automatically installed the drivers so it was plug and play Overall I am happy with my purchase.

The video quality of this HD webcam is excellent and the builtin microphones work better than a microphone array on a laptop or Intel NUC. Of course, a separate quality microphone closer to the speaker will always give clearer audio. Video in Teams, Zoom, and Skype look much better than with my previous Logitech webcam in terms of color accuracy, lowlight performance and image sharpness. Because of the quality lens and sensor, digital zoom can be used when needed. The tripod attachment is very welcome. When recording a group, you get much better results when putting the cam on a tripod and adjusting height and angle just as you would do when recording video.

Logitech webcams seems to be among the biggest sellers and most recommended, but Im disappointed in the bare bones basic nature of this webcam. No software, no manual controls for exposure, white balance or focus. Just nothing. As a result, the picture quality is mediocre worse than the builtin iMac camera I was hoping to replace. The only reason Im keeping this is because it can easily be moved around for other angles and purposes, as long as the USB cord allows.

I upgraded from a 10year lowdef webcam, and this is so much better. Not only is the image higher definition, but the colour depthexposure is much better as well.I did a rudimentary test with Zooms Test microphone support, and it does a reasonable job of picking up my voice. But I usually use a headset mic.On my 4k monitor, the preview isnt razor sharp, but Ive only used this Webcam with Zoom, so it might be Zoom, or it might be the upscaling to a nonnative resolution.The green status LED is a little too bright, but I suppose its a good thing that its hard to overlook.The monitor clip worked well enough that I didnt need to use the tripod mount.On Win10 build 1809, it just worked, with no driver headaches.

After doing extensive research, Logitech Webcams always are highly rated. Some retailers did not have the models I wanted so I felt entirely comfortable purchasing this model. Highly rated, features I wanted and a price that others could not match. Shipping came on schedule and webcam packaging was superb. After using I am pleased I did not order another model I considered that had a 90 degree angle of vision. Way too much for my personal use. My experience with BH, their product selection and customer focused business model will direct me to them for future purchases.

C925e is an excellent webcam, and has guaranteed compatibility with Skpe for Business, MS Teams, Webex, Cortona, Jabber, etc. If you were looking at the C920 or C920s because they had same specs as this one but were cheaper, just know neither is compatible with the software mentioned above.

Like many others, because of Covid19 I had to wait months to get a Logitech webcam. When it arrived it exceeded my expectations. Its picture is very sharp and shows colors accurately. The autofocus works well on the first Zoom call I made, the others on the call were saying that they could now see the photographs on the mantelpiece six feet behind me I had previously been using the builtin camera in my desktop Mac. Setup was a breeze. This camera has a tab that I can slide in front of the lens to block any attempt to take control of my computer to use the camera to spy on me. I keep it with that slide closed and open it only for calls. A very nice touch.

Im very pleased with this camera. When the pandemic first started, I bought one of those cheaper webcams for around 40 thinking it would be good enough. At first it seemed ok, but I did have problems with oversaturation from a sunlight coming in through a window half my face would be a white glowing mess. Additionally, people would tell me it was very hard to hear me.I connected this Logitech Cam and did some test videos and wow, the difference is amazing. The audio is much clearer, with better bass, it just sounds natural. And the video… no over saturation.I can wholeheartedly recommend this camera over cheaper ones. It seems you definitely get what you pay for when it comes to webcams.

Since I purchased an UltraWide some months back, Ive been using my laptop in clamshell mode. So every time I had a video call I had to open up the laptop. I was hesitant to get a webcam because I have a great one that comes with the laptop. But I went for it after doing some brief research and comparisons. Used this to replace a REALLY old logitech round web camera with right light technologywish I knew the model number, During a Zoom meeting I asked if there was any difference and yes, they said I was way sharper then before. Only downside, I think the picture is darker then the one with the older camera, before the lighting was fine.All in all a great upgrade. We are extremely pleased with our Logitech C925e webcam. We got it because my daughter participates in online debate competitions and Lenovo laptop webcam just wasnt cutting it for sharpness. Under regular light, the laptop webcam and Logitech are not that big a difference, probably not enough to justify the purchase, but the huge difference is under less than ideal lighting there, the Logitech is much sharper and clearer. Plus, I really like that it raises the camera slightly and gives us the flexibility to adjust the angle of the camera.It came very quickly and was in perfect condition on arrival. I was shocked how small and light it was. It worked immediately out of the box and is quite simple to set on the laptop stays securely.The color balance is not as good as I had hoped, and its not particularly flexible in adjusting it. Apparently other versions of Logitech cameras will accept Logitech software that allows for all sorts of color balance tweaking this does have one downloadable software program, but its pretty limited. So, my daughter looks paler than ideal, but oh well…she is quite pale to begin with so maybe hoping for giving her a rosy glow on screen was unrealistic.Overall, quite pleased.

Video looks decent, microphone audio sounds decent. The builtin camera shutter is a big plus makes it super easy to physically cover the camera sensor without an ugly, bulky flap attached ontop of the camera. WARNING The green indicator light will flash green if plugged into a powered USB dock without a computer connected or turned on. This is supposed to be a safety feature in case software is silently watching the camera, but it ends up being rather annoying. Cant turn it off, but I covered the green light with a piece of black electric tape and it blends right in.

Background image option worked well in Skype although my old hardware Motherboard andor graphics card did not allow use of background image in Zoom. The instructions for setting up this webcam are tiny, but there are only a few, so no big deal.I placed the device atop my monitor, where it sits firmly with no chance to slip off. I then plugged the USB cord into an open spot on my hub.Nothing happened, no message on the screen Now what I went into the control panel, opened Hardware Manager and what did I see The webcam was listed, connected, and shown as working properly. I then went to a web site where visitors can test webcams to see if they work, and voila, it worked perfectly, both video and audio.I WISH new users could see some kind of confirmation, but beyond that, no suggestions or complaints.I soon attended a zoom meeting in the comfort of my world command center, and all was good.

I am in several different meetings through out the day and the lighting conditions change in my home office throughout the day. The C925e handles all of the different conditions to present a clear and crisp video. Performance is awesome and software installation to get the zoom feature was effortless. While my old webcam was getting the job done, this really is a step up I am yet to encounter a downside, all though I am not trying to use the C925e to broadcast or stream so I cant speak to its capabilities for those uses. Pros Very simple to download the Logitech Camera software and then to set up and control the C925e camera. Produces a decent picture under poor lighting conditions. Autofocus seems to work well.Cons The camera defaults to 60hz NTSC for flicker removal. It would be better if the default could be changed to 50hz PAL for UK use. Zooming in can only be done in steps via the software. I would have preferred a more continuous control.

Ill have to use translucent tape to attenuate the light. Careful tape placement required so as not to cover the microphone. For that reason, I awarded only three stars.

I bought this webcam to get better lower light video and resolution than my tenyearold webcam. It met this low bar easily and was extremely simple to install, essentially plug and play. And by lower light, I mean simply a normally lit room at night.My minor complaints areInability to rotate the camera when it is attached to my monitor.The focal length of the camera is short, that is, it has a wider angle than I would prefer, which results in some distortion.There does not seem to be a software option for controlling the camera before using it in video conference apps. I tried a few options that let me zoom and shift brightness and color, but my changes dont stick when a video conference kicks in. I suspect that there is some software solution out there, but I have not found it.Overall, I would definitely recommend this webcam if you simply need an easily installed, reliable, and decent video camera to perch on top of your monitor so that your image is aligned with the screen that you look at. Its similar in image quality to the webcams that you get with many new laptops, but if you use a separate monitor, you can put this webcam to a better position away from the laptop.

Good entry level webcam. Wanted to purchase a C920 a slightly less cost but no one had in stock. When this became available, I quickly purchased since I needed a webcam. Good video using my 2020 MacBook Pro with external monitor. I cant comment on the microphones since I use a headset. Wish it had some modest zoom capability, either software or hardware. The mount sits nicely on my monitor and I can adjust vertically bu wish that it had some swivel from side to side.

Good video quality. It gives a flatter image than the builtin camera on my laptop, which has more of a fisheye lens look and makes my nose look even bigger than it already is. Its nice that you can zoom to adjust the width of the image using the downloadable app. The integrated sliding door over the lens is nice. It has two microphones but it does not output in stereo. I think the two microphones are used to cancel background noise. Attaches securely to the top of my monitor. No issues in getting it running. Smaller than I expected from the photos, but there is no basis for comparison in the photos. It recommends not connecting it to a USB hub, but I did and had no problems. I would get it again, and I did order a second one for another computer.

While Im not a streamer yet, I purchased this to use with family and gaming friends. Ive found that it works well. Then with COVID19, I was suddenly working from home and it worked well for those Zoom calls. I couldnt convince them to hold them in Red Eye Redemption. Now we are back in the office, socially distanced, but I ended up ordering about 6 of them for the attorneys I work for and they have enjoyed having them for their Zoom calls and I have heard no complaints from any of them.

My only concern with the camera is that there is no way to flip the horizontal mirror image on the pc. This is annoying and is not a problem with the pc builtin camera. A software uptake could solve the issue.

The integrated web cam in my laptop has trouble in low light and backlit scenes, and I found myself frequently using it that way when Covid hit. So after a while I started looking around for an external web cam. I didnt necessarily want this particular model, but it was the model available when I decided to bite the bullet. Overall Im very pleased. The video quality is light years beyond the integrated web cam. Cant speak for the audio, however. Never made the comparison. It also travels well. I have small cinch sacks for my various electronics when I travel, and it packs nicely in one of my sacks inside my laptop bag. The manual lens cover is also a plus. Provides security when not in use and also protects the lens when in the sack. The only real issue Ive had is that the clip tends to hide browser tabs on thin bezel laptop screens. So I have to sometimes lift it off in order to find the X to close the tab.

I didnt want to spend more than 100 on a camera and I do think the quality is good for that price. Even in lower contrast situations it still blows out very easily. But with this camera you can download software that allows you to adjust. I also love the lens cover. I would recommend this for anyone who doesnt want to spend a lot but who does somewhat care about video quality.

Im not a techy so I bought this not knowing if it would work with Windows 10. There was no real instructions other than plug it in and theres no accompanying CD. The 1 paragraph instructions said it would immediately run and install everything needed once it was plugged in. It didnt run or set up but apparently the drivers did install. When I went into my devices it showed to be there and installed on the date I first plugged it in. The microphone works perfectly with Cortana and the rest of the Windows programs once I turned it on from the control panel and the camera has a great wide angle view. No turning on required there. All in all I think the Logitech Webcam will be just what I was looking for. I took a star off due to the lack of instructions or guidance with installation.

You can slide it closed from the top and it covers the lense and then slide it open when you want to use it. The Logitech C925e Webcam is plug and play device with minimal intervention required for setup. The wide angle view is excellent, the light sensitivity very good. Only downside is the mount, which when placed atop a thin display, is somewhat unusual in trying ot stabilize. Nothing terrible, just an observation. The sliding cover to the camera lens is well done, and a light indicating the cam is on is a nice touch. We use an Blue Yeti Nano on a boom so we have not employed the builtin microphone.

I had the camera professionally installed by an electronics installer. The camera was set up and started recording upon completion of installation. I was able to download the app to my Android phone and link it to the camera. I am very pleased with the quality of the camera and the quality of the video. I would recommend this camera to anyone wanting a quality camera without paying a premium price.
