neither laptop had a built in camera that was to the wifes liking for video quality. with zoom meetings becoming near daily occurence, she wanted an accessory that provided better quality. 1st to BestBuys credit, they did not gouge price the product as did Amazon, eBay and other online stores 40 to 75 over manufacturer list. BestBuy kept me apprised of the product availability and backorder status. Ordered for pickup at the store, i was inout with the unit in minutes in spite of the store busyness. Kudoes to the Mira Mesa team. Wife is happy. I am happy.

The C922 is a significant upgrade from the onboard camera on my Macbook. The trade off of the basic no frills lack of bells and whistles is more than offset by the quality of the most important feature the clarity of the visual reproduction. The only thing that I find a bit wonky and annoying is the autofocus, which reacts to all the wrong things like some kind of distracted dog. Extremely happy with the purchase

This webcam was easy to set up and ran well with occasional light use until it failed hard today. I checked for the latest software drivers and my USB power adapter recommended output voltage and both checked out fine. The device was not mishandled or put in a hazardous environment normal office. There was no warning. The device no longer operates. Im glad that I have a Best Buy 2year extended warranty because I will exercise it tomorrow.

Best webcam so far. I use it for zoom meeting. The zoom could automatically detect it, no hard set up for that. The video quality is so clear. It is a bit brighter video result. And other thing that I notice is that, if I use it in HP Windows, seems like it zoom me out compared to my HP builtin camera. However, when I use it on my Mac Book, the size of view is quite similar with the original builtin camera. Again, the looks result is way more higher quality and brighter.

Due to an upgrade on my computer my camera for conferencing stopped working properly. This camera was easy to install, set up quickly and works well. It also comes with its own tripod so I can use it on my laptop or sitting on my table. Only hitch, for me, was choosing the correct option for zoom or duo so that the picture showed. Once I figured out which of the 2 choices I needed to pick the camera worked wonderfully. This one does not come with a privacy cover none of those were available for purchase at the right price at the moment and I need a camera ASAP. But I can turn off the camera or disconnect it if necessary.

This is a great piece of equipment. Unfortunately for my purposes, its not going to work. I got it to improve resolution for my fitness classes but the orientation is more horizontal than vertical. Either my head or my feet were being cut off so that my students couldnt see me completely. I really love the clarity on my screen but Im not going to be able to use it.

Been using this stream webcam for about 2 months now. Camera is very easy to install and operate. The lowlight exposure works decently, but I occasionally experience blown out portions of the image using that setting. Audio picks up well and have had no issues with recording sound. Autofocus has also worked extremely well. I pair the webcam with a light source to get the best quality.

As for a lot of folks, my spouse has been working from home replacing in person visits and training with online activity. She was using an older Logitech camera that maxed out at 720p when doing Skype, Zoom, etc. and needed an upgrade. There werent any cameras available for quite some time, but this one popped up and we decided to give it a try.The camera performance utilizing 1080p seems fine and is an improvement over the older camera. The software that is paired with the camera that must be downloaded is not very user friendly and effective. For example, you cannot reduce the field of view without switching to a lower resolution. That is the reason we purchased the camera. Also, it doesnt seem that we can set it and forget it when it comes to settings. That is a hassle. We will likely keep the camera but have not been as happy with it as we had hoped. Perhaps our experience will improve over time.

Love this new camera Been teaching classes online since April 2020 on my MacBook. The camera was ok but this Logitech is amazing. Not only higher resolution but great microphone as well. A great feature is that is self adjusts for low light so Im not setting up lamps to keep me lit. Worth the wait.

The webcam works great when it does. I have no issue with the video clarity or frame rate of capture. Great for streaming and for video calls. The stand for it that came with the packaging is convenient, but I instead opt to have it draped over the monitor top. The camera is designed in such a way that it is able to sit on top of your monitor, after you unfold the base, with it stable and at a good height. Furthermore, with the base able to fold back and be adjustable, you are able to adjust the vertical angle at which it is pointing with no issue. The tripod stand is simple and gets the job done when I want the camera to be looking elsewhere other than right at myself, such as when I am streaming videos of my dogs, or for board gaming. My main issue I have with it is the connectivity with the USB. I have issues with it not powering on with my USB port sometimes and I have to unplug the camera and replug it back in. This is fairly consistent, but it works almost every time I do so. It doesnt seem to want to power on immediately when I turn the computer on every time, just some of the time. About 4 times out of 10, I would guess. One other thing I would like to point out is that when the camera is receiving power but there is no signal, it has a white ring around the lens that flashes on and off. Occasionally when I power down my computer, the ring will still flash even though the computer is off. Sometimes it doesnt turn off when I want the rest of the computer to turn off. A little annoying at night when the white ring just shines in the dark.Overall though, the camera works great and gets the job done wonderfully for what I need it to, when I need it to. Just a few inconveniences with it that could be improved on. Overall, a solid purchase. I do recommend it for those interested in such things as web streaming, video capture or whatever else you may be needing the camera for.

Really good camera for my needs. I mainly use it for beermoney e.g. doing surveys for some money to spend on hobbiesnicetohave items. Ive tried a couple lower priced webcams from Logitech and the video quality wasnt great, especially given that I dont have ceiling lights where I keep my computer desk. This webcam works much better in such lighting conditions and would buy again. The only real negative is that I wish that the frontfacing lip was smaller as my computer monitor has small bezels and it covers browser tabs, so I have to tilt it upwards when not in use.
rookie –
I purchased this camera to use during zoom calls and online presentations. The sound quality is average, but I am very satisfied with the video quality. The images are crisp and the color corrections are awesome. With a bit of lighting just used my desk lamp the quality feels close to a professional camera. Definitely worth the investment

Given that webcams are the new toilet paper, I was glad to find this reputable name brand webcam for the price. I dont ask much from it, just enough to function through a Zoom meeting, so I cant speak to its sophistication or utility compared to other makesmodels. The little tripod is nice and stable, though it has to be placed on another object, like a box or pile of books, to be the right height. The builtin adjustable clip on the webcam is a little unstable on my older, thicker monitor, I have to be careful not to jiggle anything or it moves out of position. On a newer, slim monitor it probably would stay put.It is plug and play, but the instructions are almost nonexistent. I had to fiddle around for a while to figure out which buttons to click to test audio and visual, but eventually it all worked.
marvelous –
This is a nice webcam well built and feel sturdy. The picture quality is very nice and captures skin tone accurately. Its plugandplay simple to use and works with Zoom, which is what were using it for. It comes with a nice minitripod, which is good to have because we may use it at some point. Right now, the webcam is sitting on top of an external monitor and works well sitting there.
JBPAUSA –
Camera quality is very good, but not noticeably to the human eye much better than the builtin camera on my 5year old laptop. The software is the big difference. Many setting adjustments for zoom, exposure, color and contrast control, etc. etc. Very easy to make my image look good regardless of the lighting in my office, basement, or wherever. I use it at home, take it to work, etc. Because its mobile, I found a carry case and a glass cleaner cloth to clean fingerprints off the lens. It would have been nice if they were included, but not a big deal.

I have been working from home since March 2020 and using my smartphone for all of my virtual meetings. I wanted a Webcam but I also wanted a Logitech, so I had to wait until it was in stock again to avoid the online price gouging of this webcam. I am happy to say that the model I wanted was finally made available and at an affordable price. It was super easy to install, basically plug and play, and started working right out of the box. I find this model to be a real team player for all of my virtual needs and I highly recommend it

I have a 2012 27 iMac with a new hard drive. After trying multiple cameras from Amazon, one of which was ok, I tried both this Logitech webcam the C920. This camera was far superior on my system. The C920 had a blue cast, and I wasnt able to fix it with the Webcam Settings app or the Logitech app. When I use my ring light right over the computer, the picture with this Webcam is great. Some of the greens are not as vivid as I would like, and some turn blueish, but skin tone looks natural and red stays red. If choosing btwn this C922 C920, I recommend the C922, though every computer is different
bwilson7475 –
I recorded a video using the C922 and several other cameras, automatically switching with my computer. Other cameras had poor synchronization between audio and video latency Canon T6, poor video quality and motion blurring a 1080P HD Webcam, or inability to control basic parameters like brightness other cheaper cameras. The C922 was sharp and crisp with nearly zero latency, and worked every time. The final video I put on YouTube was made using just a C922 and a nobrandname1080P HD camera. You can easily see the difference in quality. Bruce Wilson Georgia On My Mind not allowed to post the link here I bought a second C922 so my next video will be much better.
Hagar –
I have a C920s Pro as well and these are very comparable. This has 60 fps at 720 but I always use 1080p. NO idea why there is no privacy cover while the cheaper C920s does. I found one online for five bucks. Video is clear but often overexposed so I need to manually lower the brightness. The sound is good. The frustration I have is the software For 5 years , Logitech continues to use 3 of the worst software packages out there to control their cameras. Logitech camera controls provide basic controls but advanced controls like zoom rarely work consistently. I use Zoom, Weber and Teams every day and trying to get that software to work across all 3 platforms is impossible. So I tried their Logitech GHub which has a better interface but is even less consistent. Then there is Logitech Capture which redirects camera input to this software and then feeds VC software. That works because all video feeds through the software but it has to be running at all times and takes a good 10 seconds to start up, which means if someone calls you via Teams or Skype and you need to load the software to answer, you will miss the call The fact that Logitech has never fixed this software after more than 5 years…and it affects all their cameras…is inexcusable It works fine if you never adjust zoom, exposure, etc.
RandomCustomer111 –
seen alot of reviews of people disappointed with the quality. I was too for a moment until I installed the software that came with it.Always be sure to set your source on whatever program youre using to the Logitech cam software instead of the Logitech pro webcam. and to have the software on in the background when using it.my only complaint is the 720 60fps advert on the box. It looks like garbage when you set it to 60fps for some reason but when its on 30fps it looks almost as good as when its at 1080p. wouldnt recommend if 60fps is a necessity.overall Id recommend it to anyone who needs a webcam for whatever conference calls or classes they need to take at the moment. it beats whatever default webcam you might be using.
MovieReview –
The Logitech C922 Pro Stream Webcam is a wonderful device. It is excellent for Zoom meetings and using in school. It has a clear picture and beautiful colors and sharp images. For my first webcam purchase ever, I am extremely satisfied with this purchase. I am so glad that I bought this webcam.

Pros Easy to set up. Automatically installed by windows 10. Works straight away with Skype zoom etc.Cons Although not bad, image quality did not blow me away for the price. May had been expecting too much but doesnt really seem much better than my previous 10 year old camera which was much cheaper. If youre expecting 1080p like you get on your LED TV, this isnt it Included tripod not the most stable but adequate.
chrischungymc –
Great video quality. I uploaded on YouTube, so I can confirm. Great software provided by the company, buy I think it only works on Windows. The software is really really good. There is pictureinpicture mode and stuff. Audio quality is decent. I like that it come s with a tripod. That was a surprise.
Vile –
This is one of the best webcams you can get, especially at this price point. I purchased 2 of these, one for home and one for the office.I frequently use this for remote meetings, using Skype, Teams and Zoom. The webcam performs great, and being 1080p, the quality of the video is great. Using the onboard microphone also works great in terms of quality, so no issues there either.Logitech webcams have become the standard in our company for good reason. The quality is superb all around.

I looked at a lot of different cameras, some more expensive, some very cheap 30. I wanted something to replace my macbook cam to sit on top of my monitor for work meetings, so I could work from one screen.Really pleased with this, plug and play, great image quality, colour. Im in a home office with low natural light levels, the light is on from the morning in winter, and its right behind me, but this camera deals with that 100.really happy with the purchase. was put off with enough negative reviews for more expensive newer models.

The image quality is perfect, the provided mini tripod is nice, but 2 cm too short. I previously had the C9000 and that had a glass Carl Zeiss lens, cost less than half the price of this one. The C922 is plastic, no name chinese lens and quite overpriced. Still the software is what I had to buy the camera for, the ability to zoom in and change color, light etc. Probably among the better cameras out there for the zoom world
Katana –
It has good quality overall. There were two downsides for me. One downside was that it did not come with the privacy cover so I had to buy that separately. Nowadays I just feel its just super to have it. The other was that the lens is consistently focusing throughout meetings. Despite me having good lighting if I move too much or shift its always focusing and its noticeable on the other viewers end. Other than that the camera has good quality and was easy to set up and works good.
lee.k –
First it was a lot smaller than I thought it would be. But thats OK. Easy to use. I downloaded Capture and ChromaCam. Its a disappointment that Capture doesnt work with nonlogitech webcams, like the default webcam on my laptop. Thats a Logitech problem, not a webcam issue. Video is clear, autofocus seems to work great and audio very good also. Im using this primarily with Zoom. I finally figured out the difference between the C920 and C922. The C920 comes with a small tripod stand whereas the C922 omits the tripod and adds 3 more months onto the subscription of XSplit. At first I was disappointed not to have the tripod but I mounted the webcam on top of my monitor and its been there since so the tripod wouldnt have been much use. So, Im happy with the C922 version. I like it and recommend it.

This has worked really well for my daughter to use for online college classes. She was using her laptop camera but switched to this so her teacher and classmates could see her better. She didnt want to be the kid with the blurry or dark image and she thought it helped her connect with them more effectively. Just plug and play so it has been really easy to use. Also recommend getting a ring light to make your video image even that much better.
thisproductsucks00 –
Just buy the 4k. This deal isnt worth it. The stand is cheap. They already have a webcam that films 1080p 30fps. Yes, I know the enhancement isnt as good, but neither are good. Either dont spend more than 50 bucks on a webcam, or go all out and go the full 4k.For those deciding on which to choose for basic webcam use, choose an affordable 720p cam from logitech. For the streamers, just go buy the 4k. This product is the ehh middle guy that nobody likes. The mic quality is horrible in games. I didnt try the mic outside of PC games because I had my logitech pro x as the default mic.The software wallpapers over the bad hardware. Software for this webcam is very good. But the hardware is ehh.In my opinion, this WebCam is not a good deal. Try it and if you dont like it, return it.
ltqreviews –
This is one of the best webcams out there. It may be difficult to find one because of webcam shortages, but if youre lucky enough to get your hands on one of this youre all set. Aside from the great streaming ability, I was also surprise on how wide this can get. You can technically place this in a board room, capture everyone with no problem. Installation is very easy as this is just a plug and play unit in which you do not have to install any software. Works automatically with skype, zoom, microsoft teams or any software which does video. If you find this elsewhere, they do markup the price of this a bit, so if youre lucky enough to get one of this, keep it. You may have to check bestbuy on a daily basis for availability. The world is experiencing a webcam shortage right now, but if available get it as soon as you can.Great product and highly recommended.

I was in the market for a new webcam that would be better than the dismal webcam on my iMac and MacBook Pro. I did a ton of research on C922 and the Logitech Brio and was lucky enough to score both during the current pandemic where there have been shortages on all Logitech webcams. While this webcam produces a pretty sharp image, the Brio is far superior with its sharpness, color, and lowlight performance. Plus, the ability to change the field of view to a wider 90 degrees is a huge bonus. I returned the C922 and kept the Brio, which in my opinion, is a much better webcam and value, even at double the price.

I have been using this webcam for about a month now and I am happy that I was able to get this webcam as they are hard to get now days.ProsExcellent quality.Easy to set up.Easy to use.Comes with a tripodBetter picture and video quality than other brands.Microphone works well.ConsSoftware is confusing to use with no explanations whatsoever. No privacy cover.Tripod is way too short.Need to upgrade to Type C connection.365 rotation is lacking. Not sure why a 19.99 webcam can rotate 365 degrees but logitech cannot.Overall it is a good purchase and will recommend to users with intermediate to high level usage.Ivera

We are home schooling our three grandchildren during the pandemic and needed a second webcam. The school provided Chromebooks were okay for Zoom, but the grandchildren are using separate desktops for the larger monitors and better resolution. The C922 can move easily between desktop monitors as needed. Compared to an older Logitech Orbit AF the Logitech C992 Pro Stream Webcam is of equal performance and even better with its uptodate software. Very satisfied with the video quality at both 720p and 1080p resolutions. The microphone has very good sound reproduction. Have used the C922 webcam for Zoom, Google Duo and recording video with no problems or disappointing results. The C922 installed quickly in Windows 10 with the Windows 10 drivers Windows 10 v. 2004. Installed the downloaded the Logitech Capture software which is easy to use. Highly recommend the C922 Pro Stream Webcam.
GoodDeal –
Ive only had it for 3 weeks, but so far its been flawless. Installed automatically just plug into USB port on both my laptop and desktop computers. I host Zoom meetings and some of my participants were noting OK, complaining that my sound wasnt too good and even I could tell that my video image wasnt as crisp as most others. Not good for the convener The simple way it sits on top of my laptop screen and the simplicity of disconnecting from the USB port make it extremely portable. It also comes with a desktop tripod that compensated for my Bravo big screen monitor not providing a location it could attach to.A well spent 100.
WILLIAM –
Great picture Auto focus works very well, though not super fast. I do not use the tripod, which is a bonus in the package. Before I used the Aukey but the FOV is too wide, like 100 degrees. This C922 is just right, at 78 I think. The white LED is better than the blue LED in C920, which is kind of freaky in lowlight. This webcam is more expensive, but worth the price.
Paul –
Pros Having 1080p quality is very nice for the price.Being able to mount on a tripod is very useful. The LEDs on the front show when it is in operation is easy to see.The microphone is the best it can be for a device that size, very clear. If you want a better microphone you need a standalone microphone.Cons Not fantastic in low light as stated, had to lighten the area.I had to buy my own privacy shutter, the universal one I got fits well. The cable could be 0.5m longer.
jbower47 –
I paid more for this than I would have if supply wasnt limited. The image quality is decent, but the color correction is lacking, everything is relatively washed out on the cold side, even with supplemental light. It does work fine with plug and play, but the Capture software its supposed to come with wont install, and we tried to do so on multiple systems and with Logitechs help. So you lose some higher function. Unlike some other models, its not full 60fps at highest resolution, it doesnt come with a privacy shade like the 920s, etc, and it doesnt rotate just tilts up and down I couldnt believe a camera in this price range was so basic. If you have to have one, its ok, but for the money there are MUCH better options.
dcbear –
This is a great webcam, I love it. It has a good image and work well with Zoom and Webex. The microphone works well for conference calls. The Logitech capture software allows for image control. The time waiting for delivery was worth it. The tripod included tripod is a nice addition. I strongly recommend this webcam.
TheGman –
Purchased specifically to improve how I look in Zoom meetings. This is the camera Ill be using forever going forward, instead of the surprisingly lame camera in my MacBook Pro.The camera was easy to connect and setup was very simple. Almost literally Plug PlayVideo quality was vastly improved, audio was clear. The camera, as well as the cute little tripod that came with it, were easily adjustable and the field of vision was plenty wide enough for our needs.Im very glad I bought this webcam.
The Bryan –
I bought this webcam to replace my aging C615. It has better autofocus and will stream fairly well to 50 FPS. At 60 FPS, it gets pretty blurry. Supposedly having much better lighting will fix, but thats not practical for my setup. Logitech tech support recommends downloading software that isnt supported anymore. All in all a decent camera, and I trust it over Chinese OEMs but lack of consistent 60 FPS and mediocre tech support keeps it from being 5 stars.
Chris –
Works great, and has good audio and video quality. Only complaint is the method of attachment to laptop. There is no clamp, per se, but a hinged piece that rests against the back of the screen with with a non slip coating. If your laptop stays in the same place all the time its not a concern. Also has a 14 20 threaded socket so it can be mounted to a standard camera tripod.
Robert –
Im a design consultant who collaborates with clients and consultants around the country. I dont broadcast or livestream so I wouldnt have used the additional features of the Brio so I opted to save about 100 and decided on the c922. So far, I like this models control features and the quality of its imaging. Got 3 months of Premium XSplit with it so Ill try the greenscreen alternative but Premium seems to have more bells and whistles than I need. Web search revealed that there are several other apps that may be better than XSplit, and cheaper.
1234 –
Logitech C922 Pro Webcam works exactly how it should. It is easy to work with, easy to install and is consistently clear with great sound. I am not a tech geek nor have I used twenty different webcams. I have used this same model for years and other Logitech webcams. I just purchased this one for my grandsons computer.
MyTooCents –
This was my first cam other than a builtin laptop cam. The picture quality jump is staggering I definitely needed to make sure I was camera ready for my zoom meetings now. It works right out of the box with ease. The little tripod it comes with is nice, but I wont use it. It sits on top of a monitor very well and is stable.I wish I could turn it side to side. Its easy to adjust up and down for your height but youll have to move yourself to be centered.
MustBeAnOaf –
…cleverly designedIt came with a little tripod, which I didnt expect, and which is actually pretty sturdy and stable. The camera body seems to have little feet which are where the camera can be perched on your computer display, and those feet are made of a matte, highfriction rubber, which gives it pretty good grip on the surface of your display. It seems to work with the camera software native to Windows 10, so no need to install different software.Again, typically Logitech.Only caveat storing this thing if you dont want a camera on your computer all the time. Thatll mean you need to KEEP THE BOX, and getting it back into the box is a little tricky, but wholly possible with some patience. Mine is reboxed and tucked away in my file drawer, for when Im gonna need it.
Kinsella217 –
I bought this camera as a replacement for my 2017 27 iMacs builtin webcam, which makes me look completely washed out and paperwhite. OK, Im pale, I get it, but not that pale. While this webcam does certainly have a higher resolution than my computers builtin cam, it did exactly nothing to color correct and make me look like a living entity. I was hoping for sophisticated software controls to colorbalance me and set a whitepoint, but if such controls exist for macOS, I wasnt able to find them. There was something approximating a sepia filter, but instead of only making me look fleshtoned, it made everything in my background also look fleshtoned. As Im well past the return window my own fault, Im packing this device up as I type this and sending it to a friend who needs a webcam for work.
Kdziok –
In this time of remote work and days full of video calls the time came for me to finally get a camera. My set up is a docked MacBook Pro with dual monitors so I wasnt able or willing to use the built in laptop camera because it would throw off the desk configuration. Picked this one up, plugged it in and it instantly just connected and worked. Note, if you use a Targus dock the camera does not register when plugged into one of its many USB ports. Had to connect direct to laptop. The only downside is that this model doesnt have the privacy screen so Im currently doing the postit note curtain when not in use.

I appreciate that Best Buy had any of these in stock and at a reasonable price, given the shortage of webcams. This is a good webcam, a huge upgrade over builtins, and better than the Logitech 270 or 615, both of which I have tried. Zero instructions included, the website is poor, but setup is plug and play. The image and focus are a little crisper and responsive vs lower Logi models. Note that the field of view for this webcam is wide you will be visible from the midchest to above your head if it is placed on your laptop screen. That is good for interviews.
Cory –
Does everything you would expect from an external webcam. Has a decent image quality and outputs a good resolution. The only problem Ive had is the incamera adjustments. I like to manually set my contrast, brightness, whitebalance and exposure, but for some reason the settings will not hold. Ive had this issue through Skype and Zoom work applications, and Streamlabs OBS personal use.Overall, if youre looking for something that is better than a built in camera and not quite the cost of a DSLR, this a a good option.
wezea –
Everything I needed. So darn simple, plug it in and DONE I needed a higher quality without shadows distracting from the image. The mic is clear and I could not be happier. And the tripod well that was a total bonus. It allows me to move the camera to get the best view. Sometimes light changes in the room. Tripod is a plus I highly recommend this for work which is what I use it for, online therapy school, visiting with friends and family. Its a very good product for reasonable price. I always buy Logitech whenever possible. Never been disappointed.
rharb –
I was finally able to order this camera when it briefly came back in stock. Setup is very straightforward and in just a few minutes we were using it with Zoom. We immediately noticed the upgrade in picture quality and sound versus the builtin webcam on our computer. I definitely recommend this Sign up for Best Buys stock alerts if its not immediately available.
KickuDuck –
Had this product for over a year and has not let me down. The microphone is average for a builtin microphone. I would recommend using a separate microphone. The lightning control is great and 60 fps is significantly better than 30 fps from other models and brands. Is a little expensive but well worth if you use it regularly.

I was a neophyte with this remote stuff, yet was pulled into this world via my historical presentations and attendance to various remote meetings. Did some rather quick research and found Logitech a leader in webcams so decided to go with them. Then performed some research on their various models and felt the C922 may well suit my needs, given I wanted a quality video and audio transmission. After all is said and done, I am very pleased with this unit. Easy to install and my quality requirements have been met. I would highly recommend it.
sac150 –
This is very similar to the C920S. The difference is 1 no privacy cover 2 it includes a small tripod 3 it has a firmware update to stream at 60 fps instead of 30. Other than that, they are very similar in performance and appearance. Its plug and play compatible with windows 10, but you can also go to Microsoft and download drivers and software for it. I use it for teams, webex, skype, no issues. Not a top of the line camera but gets the job done.
Vish –
Excellent Camera. I loved it. The mic performance is crisp clear, Video is really good. The Video Experience feels is the best. Easy to install USB , compact, the tripod stand serves well on occasions you would like to modify the position from above the top of the monitor to custom preferred location .Overall I feel very happy with the purchase. Best Buy gave me a very good deal on that day and I love it.
Double Dash D –
I would not recommend this product from Logitech at all. Its bad for recording presentations and constantly auto focuses and makes noise whilst doing so despite not having any moving parts. I know there are manual adjustments for certain webcam apps. But we are not moving all that much when presenting. Its also bad for recording in HD whats displayed on powerpoint slide screens so the audience cannot see whats displayed on the screen. This cameras quality degrades over time with more use. I would not recommend this product to anyone using it for professional, nontwitch streaming purposes. As probably hinted in their marketing campaigns, only good for close body shots. Bad for general recording.

The webcam setup is very simple, and it works right out of the box by simply plugging it into your computer. Logitech offers camera software that you can download and control the focus and white balance of the camera. The software is spartan but it gets the job done just dont expect too much from it. The camera has two white LED lights on the left and right that light up when the camera is active. The annoying bit is that these lights blink on and off when the camera is plugged into a USB hub without the hub being attached to a computer. So if you have a laptop that you regularly disconnect and move around, this camera will sit there blinking its lights all day until you plug your laptop back into the hub. The Logitech camera software does not provide a way to disable these blinking LEDs. If your are using a desktop computer where the camera will always be plugged in, then youll be fine. If you are a laptop user then this might be a deal breaker for you. It was for me I returned the camera.

The absolute best webcam weve had Me and my husband stream constantly with this beauty. Does fantastic with OBS studio software if know how to tweek the setting. 19201080p base canvas and resolution and output. 5000 to 6000 bitrate. Downscale Filter Bicubic. Stream encoder x264. Audio Bitrate is 192. Encoder preset is very fast. This camera is so Crisp and sounds great, defiantly worth the money for this price. Definitely top notch for 1080p, dont set it on 1280x780p it can handle better resolution. We have many many followers and they only compliment the quality of picture and sound theyre receiving.

I had postponed buying one of these because the reviews of the microphone were bad. I have a Microsoft web cam that just could not get the white balance right and the Microsoft camera app was of little help. This Logitech camera is much better on white balance and the Logitech app can make up for most of the deficiency. The microphone on the Microsoft web cam is really good, but the reviews of the microphone on the Logitech have been correct. The volume is very low and the sound is muffled. I am using the Microsoft web cam microphone with the Logitech C922 for video.

If logitech would fix their software this would be the best camera for that price point on the market. It has a great picture, is easy to configure, works flawlessly with Xsplit Vcam and OBS. The problems are that the LGS software doesnt remember settings so you have to fix it EVERYTIME you go to stream, which isnt a huge deal, as it is basically just turning off the automated settings and repositioning the gain for lighting, but it is annoying that they havent fixed this as it has been a problem for years. It is hard to beat this camera at the price but I am moving away from logitech products because of the software.

Excellent quality, plugandplay. The only problem I had is that it records in variable frame rate, whereas my edition of Adobe Premiere Elements couldnt handle that, so I had to convert to constant frame rate with HandBrake otherwise, the audio sync would drift off. I just updated to Premiere 2020, and I dont know yet whether Adobe has solved that problem. Very good video and audio quality. The supplied tripod was useful when I wanted a background other than the one facing my laptop.

I am by no means an expert. I needed a camera that has a great video quality for my Zoom calls and I am not disappointed. For me, the image quality is excellent, sharp, you can adjust the brightness and contrast, auto focus works well and microphone is really OK. All in all, for the price I think it is a great webcam for all of us that use video calls often. Does the job for me very well so no negative sides. The only thing I would like is the lens shutter so I dont have to put stickers.

Its an OK cam for video conferencing. Logitech Camera Settings app for Mac OS is quite annoyingly not saving the settings to the camera, they only work if the app is open which makes it pretty useless. I have expected better quality video but it feels like at least on a Mac its just ok. Better than from the internal iSight, but not to the extent I expected.

Excellent webcam. I have a lowlight room and the pic quality is excellent on video conference. Speaker quality is top notch, if not a bit too good, as others can hear me from across the room at normal speaking voice. Or kids in other rooms So be mindful Nice clip to hang onto a monitor that older Logitech cams didnt have. Still wish they all came with a flap when not in use for privacy like the c920.I have purchased cheaper cams recently and video quality and speaker quality seems to be on par but not as many features as Logitech. But I personally dont use all the extra features so Im not sure the extra expense was worth it. J5create cam works just as good at half the

This is the handiest webcam. The picture is superbwhat I would expect in a more expensive model. It goes anywhere and setup is easy, easy, easy. The surprising treat is how well the tripod works and how much we actually use the tripod. Cant imagine trading this one for a more expensive model. It is just right the way it is.

Excellent sharpness, 1080p resolution, good lightsource color correction, works with your usual video meeting applications, simple advanced user controls, includes a tripod jack a tripod My wife uses it almost daily, for social interaction, business, teaching in these times. Logitech continues to create great aftermarket accessories for PCs laptops the image quality stepup from most laptop builtin cameras is obvious.

Unit is plug and play ……Unbox it, affix it to your monitor, plug in the USB cable you are ready to go. Picture quality is very nice and offers options for 2 aspect ratiosThe small tripod that comes with the unit seems to be of good quality….. a nice addition. The unit lightsup when the camera is active. I think it would have been nice if the webcam had a lens cover for added privacy. If this feature had been fitted I would have given it 5 stars

Bottom Line The Logitech C922 Pro Stream Webcam works well for streaming and recording, but the interplay of hardware and software can be frustratingPros versatile placement options, includes tripod, low light adjustment and auto focus works really well, good picture and audio quality, includes 3 month subscription to XSplit premium softwareCons no privacy cover, frustrating software controlsReview Setup is simple. The Logitech can easily be attached to monitor, set on the desk, or attached to the included minitripod. On my Mac, I was able to access the webcam and its microphone in Zoom after plugging it in. The first thing I noticed was that the low light adjustment works really well. My home office is fairly dark, due to the paint color and the position of the overhead light, and the C922 really brightened up the picture. Auto focus was also pretty solid, moving quickly between the label of a pen I was holding up back to my face when I lowered the pen. I was pleasantly surprised by the audio quality, which is more than adequate in most cases although discerning users will still want a separate mic. 1080p picture quality also looks good, although getting there was challenging.Out of the box, the default picture quality is pretty bad objects in the scene are soft and blurry, and the colors appear washed out. Its evident that some settings resolution, frame rate, white balance, etc. need to be changed, but theres no way to do that without additional software on a Mac. The Logitech website directs you to download their G Hub software to control the camera. However, on my system, G Hub recognizes the C922 I get a preview of the camera, but all of the control options are grayed out. After some web searching, I found my way to Logitechs Camera Control software, which did allow me to change some settings, but from that software you cant change the resolution, frame rate, or exposure. After more web searching, I downloaded Logi Capture, which provides a much more robust set of camera controls. Turning the resolution to 720p or 1080p produced a much sharper picture, and you can apply several filters or adjustments to fix the color reproduction problem. The problem, however, is that the Logi Capture settings do not carry to other apps only Camera Controls settings do, so unless an app has builtin webcam controls, the picture goes back to its lower resolutionframe rate quality.Part of my problem, I think, is that the Logitech C922 Pro Stream Webcam is designed for streaming gamers, and Logitech partnered with XSplit so buyers get 3 months of premium access to the software. Since I dont want to use XSplit, I had to fiddle my way through other software to get the most of the webcam for my workflow.

The C922X ships with a lot of software offers I did not buy and dont need. I can go to the Logitech software site and download everything I need for free and they have continued to improve the software negating early poor reviews. The Window 10 camera software is another alternative. Learning to use the camera with zoom has been a challenge. Most of what I do is participate in zoom classes or online interviews. The software has a learning curve. I have less control in zoom sessions and sometimes there is too much sunlight. Mostly I need it in landscape orientation but I have a Tai Chi class that would work better in portrait orientation. Since this model did not ship with a tripod I can only hang the camera on the edge of the monitor
PhotoJoe –
This little gem has a great lens and terrific software. When it first powered on and the image displayed, I was actually startled by the sharpness of the screen image. And if you are in a ZOOM meeting using this camera, the difference is obvious. The only downside that deserves a 4star instead of a 5star rating was that nowhere did I find an instruction saying to use a USB port on the back side of your desktop unit. I have USB ports in front and on the monitors, but they will not work. Only the USB slots on the back of my Dell XPS8930 will provide enough power.

Pros Stable when positioned on top of a monitor and good framing without any adjustment or moving forwardsbackwards. Effective microphones. Unobtrusive on a 23 screen, well made and ergonomic. Great picture quality. Is streets ahead of built in webcams and the ability to mount it on the supplied minitripod also well made makes it really flexible.Cons Set up could have been a bit easier on a Windows 10 computer, in terms of getting the webcam recognised but it takes two to tango. The usual switch off and on again resolved the issue. Perhaps could be a tad cheaper but its a quality item.
phaota1 –
I had the original C920 version of the camera, so I knew the quality and performance was going to be fine with the C922X, but it still could be better with both editions when it comes to full focus of everything behind you in a shot. For instance, with the previous model, objects to the left of frame were somewhat blurry. With the upgrade, its the opposite. I see YouTubers with exceptionally clear imagery of everything behind them with whatever cams they are using and that is what I would expect with these. Unfortunately, thats not the case. Not saying this cam isnt worth purchasing, far from it, just that details in the distance behind you are not going to be super sharp and detailed, especially when this model is supposed to be 60 FPS at 1080p. Youll also need to visit Logitechs website for the current webcam software.

HI,This is the best webcam in my test of three models. The quality is very good for both audio and video.I will highly recommend this product if you are using for personal use, chatting, YouTube LIVE or FB LIVE and for any other purpose. My need was little different it was good for YouTube LIVE for normal conversation, light music BUT my need was live music streaming with multiple instruments.Thats were the audio quality failed also because its not meant for that. But when I am doing normal music and making reviews etc its a charm and very effective.Recommend for any home office use but not for live music streaming.Infact none of the other webcam came closer to this.Lesson learned and going for mirrorless cam

Fine piece of gear, typical Logitech highquality reasonable price. Video is fine, the the two mikes give a great sound. As usual, how good you look depends on how you light yourself more than the camera. My only problem is that the zoom etc. control only works when the camera isnt in use, so if youre on a call you cant adjust it, you need to do that beforehand. Mounting clip is solid and quite adjustable. Basically completely satisfied, Id buy it again.

Okay, take this for what its worth I blame the seller, not Logitech. The box came opened, rather than what the description said of brand new. On top of that, I did pull the camera out to see if it worked and would have asked for a partial refund from the crooked seller but the camera itself didnt work correctly. One of the features is the microphone. We did manage to get the camera to work and it was perfect with our low lighting situation because the camera itself does compensate for it. So beautiful picture However, the microphone never worked. I do have the correct computer requirements. So I returned the camera and purchased a Logitech yes, same brand C615 for 35 which was a 45 savings for me. Woo Hoo That camera is smaller, swivels 360 degrees, and both the camera and microphone worked. While the C922 does have better specs, if you get one that works, Id say keep it. But Ill be happy with my cheaper one and use it for teaching kids on VipKid.

The Logitech C922 Pro Stream Webcam 1080p camera is excellent, has a great microphone, and the setup was turnkey. I utilize a JBL Extreme for the speaker. I highly recommend this webcam. It sits on top of my Wacom Cintiq 27 and tolerates my aggressive drawing style without shifting. The image quality is impeccable and shows every disgusting blemish, discoloration, and highlights my giant greasy forehead. Until I get some much needed warmerdiffused lighting, it also accentuates my jowls and segmented manatee neck. I know I have a stronger jaw than this. Even with a tan I look like pink chewed bubble gum. The camera adds 60 pounds. Im so happy right now.

I brought this camera which works fine because the advertising indicated it had green screen capability. This is incorrect. The green screen and streaming tech is via a seperate 3rd party company . That charges money for these features. The cam only comes with three months free subscription. The cam is good quality but no better than the C920

This is also the second one that I bought I bought one for myself previously. This one I ordered for a friend who needed a better webcam because they were having some lighting issues.Since the pandemic and lockdown, I have been teaching online yoga classes and I really like this webcam. It was reasonably priced so I did not have to break my budget to buy it. It works great. Even if my lighting is not the best, it still picks up well and most importantly, makes me look good haha.It was super easy to mount and use I just plopped it on top of my monitor and plugged the USB into my computer and started using it.The one not so great thing about it is the builtin microphone. It makes me sound like I am muffled or under water when I use it. Since I have a dedicated external microphone, it doesnt matter too much to me. However, if you need to use the microphone thats built into the camera, be aware that the sound quality is not great.
Sharpie2019 –
Pleased with this purchase overall. Video and audio microphone quality are good in my opinion. I use the webcam for zoom, and Microsoft teams calls so a little limited. In these applications, I am very pleased with the features. The camera comes with a stand which is of limited use, I was able to place the webcam on three different monitors and as long as you do not bump the monitor it does a good job of staying in place.
JOHN –
The Logitech C922 Pro Stream Webcam is the best webcam that I have ever used. The photos are excellent and the sound is very clear. There are less epensive models, but this one is definitely worth the price. It even comes with a mini tripod, but I prefer to just set it on top of my momitor. I strongly recommend it for use with Facetime.

I wanted to get a video camera because of having to use Zoom a lot for meetings. And having fun chat sessions with friends. And it is a easy to use camera. You just plug it in and the computer will recognize it as a new camera. And bam You have a new fancy camera to make you look nice and 1080p on your monitor. The tripod that came with it is a nice addition to the whole package. According to those that hear us talking, we sound far away but that is probably because of the camera being far away from where we sit at the computer desk in our house. But your mileage may vary on the sound quality. Still its a great camera and I dont regret my purchase.
ADAEZE –
Or at least maybe the control dashboard doesnt always offer the option of doing what I want done. The controls themselves are basic enough. It is brighter, but can capture the light if you have too much sun behind you. And it zooms in a lot, which is great for a zoom call style chestup video. But when Im trying to demo something then I have to move very far away or just use my computers builtin camera. I do like that I can move the logitech around by hand to show different views of my demo. All together. I recommend this camera. Get it

I have had this webcam for over a year. It was very easy to set up simply plug and play. I have it plugged in to my desktop. It is mounted to the top of my monitor the mount was simple to do, and has remained steady and secure since I first mounted it. I have been using it for Skyping with family members regularly for the past year. They all tell me that the video is excellent, as is the audio. I recently bought a high end headset Sennheiser Game One with a very good microphone and I had no difficulty disabling the microphone on this webcam so I could use the microphone on the headset. I have been very happy with this webcam, and recommend it strongly.

The camera itself surpassed my expectations definitely a major improvement over the builtin camera on my laptop. I feel much more confident now in videocalls for work. The Logitech Capture software is nice, but so resource intensive that it overtaxed my machine. I ended up uninstalling it.I bought this particular camera in part because it included a tripod, but the tripod is tiny and I found it awkward to figure out where to place the tripod anyway to produce a good image during videocalls. So I ended up ditching the tripod and clipping the camera to the top of my laptop monitor. Still, I was glad this camera included a tripod, because it saved me the trouble of buying one separately and then figuring out I didnt really need it.Staples had a good price on the whole package. I do think Staples could do a better job on packaging. The small camera box was contained in a much larger cardboard box without any aircushions or anything else to protect the package in transit.

Bought this camera to add to a system I built up on a Late 2014 Mac Mini 2.6 GHz Core i5, 8 GB RAM for my office. Video quality is excellent with this camera much better than the builtin camera in my 2010 iMac. Reports from others say that sound quality is excellent, so the stereo microphone must be good in that respect. I have noticed a few ways in which in this application at least, it is not up to the level of performance of the builtin cameramic on my iMac though. This mic seems to be more prone to VOX opening from extraneous noise than the builtin on that system. I typically run a small personal fan under my desk and often have to turn it off to eliminate flup flup during a call.It is also not unusual that the audio on a call initiated from my Mac Mini will be garbled, and sound like the person I am speaking to is on helium. Parties on the other end report that in that event it sounds like I am on antihelium very slow and low no cultural reference there. Usually I can disconnect and reinitiate the call to resolve this, but not always. And even if it worked every time, it would be an annoying extra step to both parties and not very professional.I am willing to concede that these issues may not be inherent to the camera itself, but a result of the specific combination of components in my system, or a driver compatibility issue. Nonetheless, this is my experience with the unit and in these areas it really is not up to my expectations or requirements.Addendum I will be forced to choose yes or no on the I would recommend this to a friend question, but neither are accurate, so here is what you should pay attention to, not that Maybe. It would depend on the system he or she intended to install it on, as well as how and where it would be used. Newer system, faster system, etc., probably so, especially if residential. Same system as mine, no, whether home or office. Office application, no, unless installed on a much higher quality system, then Maybe. Residential high performance system, probably. As above, Im not ready to absolutely condemn the unit, but I would definitely have reservations about recommending it to a friend whose friendship I value. I would convey my experience as clearly as possible and then let himher decide.

I love my new Logitech C922. Easy to use and beautiful color. I especially love the capture ap that needs to be downloaded. This gives me a zoom lens that is useful for some of my projects. I either misplaced or couldnt locate any directions but they can be found online. I do a lot with zoom and the camera works very well for this. Im not an expert on cameras but I like it a lot.
Mark –
Took awhile for it to arrive 7 months, but considering EVERYONE was sold out, I have no complaints.Insanely easy to install Windows 10 had the drivers preinstalled. Stunning picture quality. Background replacement is a bit funky just use OBS. Highly recommended for students, teachers, remote workers, streamers and online performers. Excellent webcam
Daryl –
Not the best video quality but miles better than my smart phone. I use this for zoom calls and art streaming videos. Its good enough for vlogging and game streaming. I prefer using OBS studios to tweak the cam settings as I can manipulate my recordings a little better. The mic isnt the best as its a little too far. To fix that I got a separate mic for better audio recording.

Excellent 1080p video conferencing. Definitely a great product from a trusty brand. A few years old, but works perfect for me. Just plug it in and PC will install drivers. Software is available at the Logitech website. Good luck.

I originally wanted the 4K Pro model but it was sold out. There were still a few of these left in stock so I grabbed one and decided to give it a try. Surprisingly, the camera quality on this thing is really good The set up was a breeze. I had the clearest video in my Zoom meetings. I would definitely recommend this as an alternative to the 4K pro. It gets the job done

This is a great full HD 1920×1080 webcam. It fits pretty securely on top of your monitor and connects to you computer by USB. If you have a bezeless monitor, the mount will obscure part of your screen. If thats an issue you can always use a tripod. The picture quality is very good. I also works pretty well in fairly low light conditions.
3at1tym –
I bought 2 of these to use with OBS Studio Software. However MacOs doesnt have the configure settings to adjust the camera. Windows or PC lets you configure the camera to get the best results. So I cant say for sure, that I love this camera. I do know webcams need a lot of light. Plugged in out the box the picture is really grainy. Logitech settings software is limited. Logitech Capture is a little better. Try different setting at a time. By that I mean. Logitech Capture, Logitech G etc. Otherwise things get out of control quickly if too many are on at the same time. Good Luck

So happy I found this at Staples hard to find at the the original MSP vs jacked up price. My video call are SO much clearer, everyone notices the differences. I look more professional and people even say I look younger lol really. Also, its so light sensitive that I almost never need to use the expensive light panel I bought earlier.Only thing its missing is a privacy cover, but Im not that worried about hackers.

This camera is not a bad camera with enough lighting and tender love and care. If youre just taking a dive into streaming, need a webcam for a zoomdiscord call, or even for recording yourself for YouTube, this is a steal. The autofocus can be a little wonky but the webcam does have a dedicated software you can download to adjust camera settings contrast, exposure, etc and the rate its capturing at 30 fps at 1080, 60 fps at 720. If youre a professional or want high grade equipment, take the next step and set up a dlsr as your webcam for streaming or production but for the average everyday user, this is more than enough. P.S. Lighting is VERY IMPORTANT regardless the camera, make sure your lighting is adequate and this camera will function much better
Topspin14m –
This is a great camera. Fast autofocus, clear resolution. Since I started using it people on ZoomWebEx say I look much clearer. Its a big upgrade. Also the microphone works really well. For anyone with a monitor, this is a must have in 2020. I am only taking one point off value because the c920 is a very similar camera for 25 less.

My son had been asking fir this camera for months and its always sold out. I found one store that had it in stock and I drove over an hour to get it cus he is worth it He was so excited and thankful. He said it was super easy to set up and the clarity it exactly what he was expecting it to be. He recently put together his own pc and needed a camera for his YouTube and now zoom classes for school. Great purchase and good luck finding it
BestBuyREG –
Have been using this for remote teaching all of the school year this far using zoom. It has audio with it, but I use a separate gaming headset instead. I love the stand that it comes with as I can adjust the height of my camera for my face but also if I need to use it to share a book or other material that I have to move the camera. It was easy to install with an HP Envy 17 inch all in one laptop. In fact, I have purchased a total of three cameras to set up three school home office spaces. Would highly recommend.

This webcam is worth every penny. It delivers 720p and 1080p video that works great with Skype. I have also tested it with Zoom although Zoom only allows 720p video. Camera has a great wide angle, and the microphones offer a crisp sound. Everyone on the other side of the conferences tell me that it is the best audio Ive ever had in a meeting. Bonus, the camera comes with a small tripod, so you can choose to have it over the monitor or anywhere else using the tripod.

This Camera is just wonderful. It allows for a crisp, clean and clear image rendering. It has mutiple options for recording in all your needs whether that be 720p30fps60fps or 1080p30fps. If your a streamer or Starting out youtube like me I would suggest this camera as great equipment to get you started. For just 100

I got the C922 as a replacement and have to say I am shocked how terrible external webcams still are. The dynamic range of the image is on par with the cheapest digital cameras from 10 years ago. And I am not talking about doing HDR images, but just basic exposure control is very difficult. If I want my face to be lit normally the background is almost black.Adjustments are basically nonexistent especially on Mac. You can change the brightness, but not the exposure. It says it does full HD recording but the image looks like it is being upscaled and some weird softening filters put over it to hide it. Truly shocking. The camera has a stereo microphone, but one side has much higher gain than the other side, so audio seems to be coming out of only one side. In their own software Logi Capture they conveniently hide that fact by only recording in mono anyways. The camera has a light that shows when it is enabled, which is very handy. But the light starts blinking when the camera has power but is not connected to a computer. Since I have my camera in a docking station as soon as I unplug my computer the camera light just stays blinking forever unless I completely unplug the docking station from power. So all in all I am super disappointed by the state of webcams in 2021 and especially by this supposedly higher end one from Logitech.2 stars because Logitechs support is actually very helpful and sent me this as a free replacement.
JOHN –
Ive used Logitech external video cameras for many years, and purchased this one to add HD video to another of my several desktop systems. Effortless installation, great functionality in Zoom, but although not an apparent problem constantly claims I should use Logitech drivers instead, but have never been able to find them, even after exhaustive search on website. same for all my other Logitech cameras. Does not appear to make any difference in results. Nifty minitripod included is very sturdy wellmade, but for my configuration, clipping to top of flatscreen monitor gives best view. Hasnt been easy to find these with all the demand from folks working from home due to COVID19. Glad to finally find one
nicathompson –
Camera is easy to setup, easy to use. I dont recommend leveraging the Logitech software Logitech Capture however. I noticed a delay between audio instant and video delay. While the Logitech Capture software was easy to use and navigate, I couldnt make it work without delay. Normal methods of use for the camera, DiscordZoomLogitech Hub etc, have no issues but of course dont permit videostream settings. Use other software for that if needed. Camera is great otherwise.
casibas80 –
Plug n play and very easy to use. Helps to go to Logitechs website to grab their camera control software. Webcam shows up as a device when using Zoom or OBS Studio. Clarity is rich… and response is pretty fast to movement. Focus works fairly well and has a cool boque feel. Overall very good quality product that will definitely give better clarity to your live videos. Note Good lighting is always key. And Logitech also has Logitech Capture, which is free and super easy to use with this camera and allows you to easily record or screenshot your live view.

This camera microphone is the easiest piece of computer equipment I have ever used. When I brought it home tried to read the instructions, and thought oh brother what did I buy.So, gave up reading, plugged it in…..and wahla. It worked perfectly. Told me how to use it, and have used it successfully with several internet meetings.I would tell anyone, this is the unit to buy.
ColClem –
So far its been great. Have used it on two different laptops already. Installed quickly and easily on each and Im not a techie by any means. High quality video. Much better than the laptop webcam. Have used it for virtual meetings on Zoom, RingCentral, and Skype and been complimented on my video quality. It works really well with my green screen even though Ive only been using automatic settings at this point. Will soon be trying out the manual adjustments for optimal colorlighting effects. Dont anticipate any problems as its quite user friendly.

Have been purchasing a variety of Logitech Webcams to meet the increasing needs of video conferencing. Have owned Logitech for several years. These dont disappoint and there is never an issue with them. High resolution and great results. These are primarily used in conference rooms replacing older 920s that have been moved to individual desk top computers. The microphones pick up anyone in a fairly spacious room 20×15 The 922 has been packaged with a small tripod that is handy to use on a table top or desk top.

I had to replace my old 10yrish 720p logitech camera that finally died on me. I didnt want to spend a lot since I was going to be finally going back into the office soon, but in the meantime didnt want to be using the junk webcam on my laptop. The video and audio quality improvements on this camera at this price were a nice upgrade from my old camera. I had originally wanted to get the 4k hello version, but it was out of stock a lot and wayyy more money. If youre just doing occasional video chats or web meetings for work and dont want to spend a TON of money and also dont want to take a risk on a cheap webcam from Amazon, this camera wont disappoint.
Kris –
This webcam is amazing, the sound and picture quality are great We use this for remote gaming sessions with friends and this webcam can share clear details of the game board when pointed down at a tabletop from above, or a great wide shot of the room when we are using it to skype or zoom. The reason Im giving it 4 stars is that it was advertised as coming with a tripod, which is one of the reasons I bought this particular camera. The tripod it comes with is flimsy and lightweight, while the camera has some heft to it. The first time we used it, the camera tipped over on the table top and the leg of the tripod broke off immediately. If it wasnt for COVID Id have returned the camera to the store to get a new tripod, They should have either included a sturdier tripod that could handle the cameras weight, or eliminated it and dropped the price a little.Ultimately, we kept the camera because it is a great camera, but had to buy a better tripod, so the whole setup ended up costing us more money.
SkypeGuy –
The camera works fine. BUT.. the connecting USB cord is way too short to work with many setups. If youre working with a laptop, youre golden. But if you have a desktop setup with your tower underneath your desk, the cord is not long enough. We actually bought this to replace a C920 used in conjunction with a 75 flatscreen TV and it was way too short for that setup. Logitech does not recommend any sort of extension USB cord and they do not make one so I would have liked the cord to be equal to the cords on the C920. But other than that, the camera performs just as well as the C920.
HARRIS –
For the resolution and fps in the spec, the image quality is nowhere near my Samsung Galaxy S21 camera. Also hardware issue seems to shuts off the connection frequently, not sure why. ITs especially very annoying when that happens in the middle of a meeting. IN any case, those with highend Android phones are better off using a small tripod and the likes of DroidCam to have a webcam setup

I fell for the classic 20 Amazon webcam special. After 2 months of very difficult initializationrestart it was time to toss it out the window.Stepping in, the C922, is a rocker Simply install with consistent operation. Im receiving compliments on the clarity, richness of colors and near next to you sound from the stereo microphones.Solid tech, great price with availability and excellent dependable BH Photo delivery.

A very good unit. Easy to use. No particular set up needed. It was automatically recognized under both mac os and windows. The quality of the picture is good although I am not a harsh critic of video.Note that the USB is cord permanently attached to the camera. Must use a USB extension cord to make it longer. This has been done without issues. The provided cord is about 4 ft long. Be sure to measure your distance when you acquire the unit. The provide tripod is a nice feature if you dont want to mount the camera on top of a monitor. While the tripod is not large, it works well when set on a table or desk. This camera could also be attached other standard tripods.

Ive been using the older model the C920 for a couple years and it has served me well during that time. However, I needed to replace it because its starting to behave somewhat erratically and the C922 was at the top of my list. The C922 has a 6 USB cord and comes with a mini 8 tripod and 3 month Twitch subscription good through the end of 2017. The camera has the same footprint as the previous C920 measuring 4 across, 1.5 high, and 3 long. On the front is the 1080p HD lens and on the sides are the builtin stereo mic. The status LED on the sides are white instead of the blue and cannot be disabled as on the previous model. On the bottom theres a 14 thread mounting hole for standard tripod mounting and the base splits open so that you can place the webcam over the top of a monitor or laptop screen. The microphone was comparable to the C920 builtin mic but was somewhat quieter even though it seemed to filter out more background noise. At 1080p resolution, the max frame rate is 30fps, but at 720p you can go up to 60 fps, which is a new feature for this camera. The autofocus is speedy and the auto brightness does a nice job keeping the brightness constant if light levels change. The focusing time is slightly quicker than the C920s performance, and there is little to no latency that I noticed in the recordings. The colors appear more saturated and sharper than the C920 which tended to produce video that was washed out and had softer edges in the same recording conditions.I did try to test out the automatic background removal with Personify Chromacam, but unfortunately I never got it to work properly with OBS on my Windows 10 system. It worked once, and during that test I was able to somewhat replace the background in my video with a green screen, but it wasnt entirely accurate and sometimes it removed my hair or didnt remove part of the chair if I moved around enough the entire screen would go to green screen. After that one time Chromacam just kept crashing OBS when I opened it. I cant recommend the camera for that particular feature based on my experience with the camerasoftware. Im sure future update will fix this, since Ive been reading online, for now, the software is just really buggy and unreliable. For me, its not a big deal since Im not a gamer and I wasnt really planning on using the feature for anything in particular.Overall, the C922 is a solid webcam and the video performance is slightly better than the C920. If youre happy with your C920 and dont need a new webcam, I think you can skip this model upgrade. However, if youre definitely looking to get a new camera with clear and crisp video, Id pick the C922 over the C920.

A great camera, using the Logitech software you can record truly impressive footage and the 720p 60fps is a blast. The camera removing background though… Meh… It requires an other software and reduces fps to the lowest imaginable. If anyone wishes to do anything requiring a background removal, use a green screen.

A good webcam and glad to have waited until this was back in stock. Works well in low light when needed and adapts accordingly. It was very easy to set up just plug in and its good to go.I use primarily with zoom on both windows and mac, and have no connectivity issues whatsoever.Though I use a separate mic most of the time, I have used the built in mic in the Logetich webcam, and was told I could be heard well still from a distance of about 1.5 ft away from camera.

It serves its purpose of being a nice upgrade over the garbage camera in my MacBook Pro. It isnt going to wow anyone, but it handles low light better than a built in camera and has more options like manual focus and zoom with the Logitech software. My only complaint is that the autofocus can tend to struggle with inanimate objects. It is definitely tuned for faces which makes it hard to use for playing board games. Thankfully you can manually focus.

I love my Logitech C922 Pro Stream Webcam, which cost only 99.99. It has been a great choice for all of my virtual meetings, which seem to take place on a different platform every day. My new Dell Precision didnt come with a webcam, and I did not want to risk using any of the cheaper webcams available. The picture quality is so clear that I chose to turn on the make hazy option so my sister couldnt see all of my pores.Keep your software updated.

Easy setup. It is a good webcam for distance learning. Much better than generic webcam or the ones that come with basic laptops. Purchased the Brio, C925E and C922 Pro for my kids to do distance learning. The Brio has the best picture at 1080p. The C925E and C922 Pro are about equal in video quality. The C925E has the advantage of a built sliding privacy shutter.

The one thing I disliked about my new Asus Zenbook laptop was the builtin webcam weird color, fuzzy image, and motion blur. It was bad enough on regular zoom meetings, but I also direct a chorus. In our virtual rehearsals, I direct along with the recorded music, but my moving hands would turn into a blurry smear. But with this webcam, the colors are accurate, the picture is sharp, and my hand motions are clear and crisp. What a reliefMy wife was OK with her builtin webcam its better than mine until she saw the results Im getting with the C922. Now she wants one for herself Note If youre wondering, we cant actually sing together Internet delay makes it impossible to synchronize, but the members can sing along with the audio and video originating at my end if they mute themselves.

Unit and tripod came in perfect physical, likenew, working condition. Do not expect fancy boxpacking.Windows 10 recognized and downloaded all the drivers and software automatically. No need to do anything.Image quality is everything you expect from a fan favorite like this. The Logitech C922 is the way to go. Not even the newest and more expensive model, the C922X, compares to the quality of this unit.My friends noticed the HUGE difference between this and my old camera Logitech Quickcam Pro 5000. Not only the videopicture but the sound is great. Those dualmics really make a differenceWill recommend buying this product from this vendor. Unbeatable price.

My desktop did not have the capabilities that I needed for video conferencing. I purchased this Logitech C922 Pro Stream Webcam. It was easy to install and both the video and audio perform flawlessly. Best Buy has their act together. I ordered this on line, was notified when ready for pick up and they delivered it to my car. I am very happy with my purchase.

This webcam is used every day for routine tasks. It provides clear video with builtin lighting compensation and auxiliary lighting. The microphone provides clear sound. Its portability is a nice feature. It also mounts conveniently on top of my computer monitor.Installation is easy and straightforward. It has been troublefree for my, albeit limited, needs. It has not required any maintenance.

Logitech claims that the c922 and Brio cameras are the only ones that will do background replacement. I decided to get the more expensive c922 because they advertised background replacement. However, it turns out that Logitech doesnt make the software that does background replacement, nor do they pay for the software that does do the background replacement. You can get a free account of Chromacam, which seemed to integrate pretty well with Zoom and OBS. The free account has a watermark and is missing a number of features. It seemed to work OK in Zoom and Google hangouts. I couldnt move my head much without it cropping out one side of my glasses. I was wearing a tanktop, which was cropped out, but my neck and upper arms were visible. Alternatively, you can get the Xsplit tool, which Logitech pays for a 3 month subscription. I didnt try that because I know Im not buying it. I dont know that you really need the 922 or Brio to use Chromacam. I had previously purchased the logitech c310 for less than 30, but decided to return it because the quality wasnt good enough. I just tried using it with Chromacam. The quality was significantly worse it just grabbed my head and was confused by my headphones. However, neither of them were good enough for me to use professionally. I do sales demos. One thing I was looking for in a camera was the ability to not show my entire room so I dont have to clean before a call. This seems like a pretty common need, but there doesnt seem to be many options out there. I was hoping the background replacement would fix this problem, but it doesnt. Next, Im going to try rotating it 90 degrees so its in portrait mode instead of landscape. The tripod might help get that done, but I also might return this one for a less expensive version thats missing the feature I cant use.

First thing I should mention is that I am an Apple user, so this review may or may not apply to others. The physical design is really nice easy to set it on the top of your desktop or laptop screen and it also covers the builtin camera. Audio quality seems pretty good and probably better than the crappy microphones that are build into most computers. The really bad part is the autoexposure it is completely awful. FYI, I am an engineer by education and have been an avid photographer most of my life, so have a professional level understanding of lighting and exposure control with electronic imaging devices.Despite my best efforts at controlling the light in my office setting including some very expensive pro lighting equipment the resulting images look like something from a 20 year old phone camera. Blown out highlight and muddy mid tones, which would appear to be relates to a very limited dynamic range and a very flawed autoexposure capability. Those things are normally controlled by software on cameras. smart phones, etc. But this Logitech device does not come with any software, nor does the documentation suggest any. After doing some research, it seems Logitech does have a Mac app, but you really need to dig around to find it. But save yourself some item, because it does not work on Catalina.I purchased this because the camera on my 2014 MacBook gave up the ghost, but it was orders of magnitude better than this awful 2020 Logitech piece of junk.
JONAH –
The digital performance of this device is wonderful. However, there are a handful of glaring physical issues1. Camera does not pivot if placed on top of a monitor, but must remain fixed straight ahead.2. The included, fully extended tripod is shorter than the height of most monitors. Shooting from below gives subjects on video an unflattering, neckforward appearance.
ChrisUmina –
I bought the Logitech webcam C922 to be able to join online meetings and play games on my PC.The installation process was straight forward and the webcam worked out of the box.The one weakness is with the clapping of the webcam on top of the monitor, it is not very stable all other adjustments are very easy to perform and I have not encountered any major issues.Very happy with my C922 Pro.

This is my 3rd webcam. I purchased this webcam after reading all the wonderful reviews and comparing its specs to to other webcams.First the goodIt seems to be better built sturdier, more solid construction than other webcams I have owned. The tiny tripod it came with was a nice accessory. The not so goodIt only adjusts up and down while on your screen it has no balltype gimble to adjust it side to side. This means you have to move your entire monitor to adjust it to your desired angle. The image quality is no better than the cheapest webcams I have owned. It is like viewing an image through the lens of an old flip phone. The tripod was a nice accessory, however, it would have been better had it come with rubber feet instead of the slippery plastic feet it came with.Overall, the only advantage I can see so far between this webcam and the cheaper ones is that it seems to be a bit more sturdy. Hopefully it will last longer than the cheaper ones. In all honesty, I dont think it is worth the money I paid for it over the cheaper webcams.

I have no real benchmark since its the only separate webcam Ive owned, but works easily and well. My son uses this model to stream daily on twitch and recommended it. I bought for home office video call use so camera would be on main monitor vs laptop. Was plug and play on my dell laptop and is easily adjustable to sit on top edge of multiple monitors. Comes with a little tripod as well didnt use.
TheGreatDoorbo –
I had the previous model and thought it was good. I can see some subtle upgrades with the C922. It is a quality camera Image quality is great and the versatility of the built in mount is perfect for various setups. I like the mini tripod and the fact it can go on a regular tripod. I recommend it.
SEAN –
Obviously its considered the goto standard in the space, but theres a reason for that it really is the best cam you can buy for under 100. Actually Staples was the only place it was under 100 Most people dont need 60 fps, and 30 on this looks fine anyway. Good and quick autofocus, and adjusts well to low lighting. If were all stuck doing meetings remotely, I cant recommended enough making the jump to a 1080 cam unless youre doing it all from your phone which I find annoying.
ApprovingPanda –
Not sure what there is to say about this webcam, it produces good video if youve got adequate lighting. It gets dark and grainy if your lighting is dim. Which is pretty true of all digital imaging.Precovid webcam scarcity it was a pretty pedestrian 50 webcam, and it produced quality that corresponded to that pricepoint. I also have a C920 which is for all practical purposes identical in function.Nothing has been done to improve the quality of the C920C922 webcams in the years since it they were introduced, but its pricing is inflated due to demand.Still better than the random branded cheaper webcams, not because it exceeds to the base standard for quality that webcams should be judged by.. more that the random branded cheap models that flooded into the lack of supply fail to meet the bare minimums of a respectable webcam.
CSW –
I bought this thinking the price and the brand name would be enough to guarantee a decent webcam. I needed it for Zoom meetings and recording videos. The microphone is so bad it was distracting on Zoom and unusable to make a decent quality video. That said, the camera itself seemed good quality and the software fit for purpose.Very disappointing
Mark –
I purchased this for work use and so far it has been great. The microphone audio works great and the camera resolution is also great. It was very easy to set up, pretty much plug and play. I use zoom for the most part, so setting up the camera through that app was very easy to do. The small clip allows for the camera to attach to the top of a standard monitor. I use 24 HP monitors,

Excellent webcam At the start of the pandemic, webcams were really hard to find. Bestbuy, Office Depot, and other stores were sold out. So, I went on Amazon and found an HD webcam for about 30 bucks. It was ok, but I was glad to have something. Now that webcams are plentiful, I decided to buy this Logitech webcam. Wow, it is light years ahead of that cheap webcam I had I look so much better on Zoom now. Yay I highly recommend this webcam.

I managed to buy the only laptop on the planet without a web cam for my husbands business. I bought this for him to use for his work meetings and it is perfect. He uses it with his desktop at home and can easily pack it with his other electronics when he starts traveling again. It was easy to set up. He really likes that he can unplug it for privacy. I often buy the Logitech brand since everything Ive bought from them is reliable and competitively priced.

I had an old Logitech webcam from 2007, which still works but is simply outdated in quality. What I loved about the old one was that it could be easily adjusted by moving the camera facing wherever was needed, it had a sliding cover to cover the lens, and it came with a software to easily adjust all on the pc. This Logitech C922 has none of that. The picture quality might be better, but it does not come with a software to zoom in, the camera angle is extremely inflexible, and there is not cover to protect the lens or the owner. Took some time on Youtube to find a software that helps to get at least some things customized, but works not as easily as the old webcam.
BlackFrost –
The C922 Pro Stream is the best of two worlds.1. If you use it alone, the camera is excellent, but the omnidirectional mic leaves a lot to be desired. But this setup will work for most people.2. If you use just the camera with a stand alone mic, you will enjoy this setup much better, with less background noise and distraction. The price difference between this model and similar Logi models is that the C922 Pro has accessories tripod wcase.Overall, a user favorite.
YodaZ –
The C922 is probably the best 1080p webcam you can currently get. It has a 78 degree field of view w autofocus and lighting correction for dark room situations. The Mics on this webcam are also very good. They pick up my voice easily everyone who I spoke with via Zoom said that they could clearly understand what I was saying. Seriously this cam is a decent upgrade from the C920, although the C920 does seem to have a slightly brighter image than the C922, but all of that can be tweaked in the camera settings.Right now with the pandemic going on these are pretty hard to come by so if you see it and need it grab it because theres no guarantee itll stay in stock

Overall quality is good, but a few important things keep this from being recommended. If you are more than 24 inches away from your monitor like say, you have a large monitor on a stand, you will never get the camera to focus on you. The focal range is set far far too close, and there are a bunch of hacks people have had to do to disassemble the camera to adjust this. This is the biggest problem if you are a normal distance away from your monitor the camera will not be able to focus. Second problem is more software related, but probably important for those using it for work. It does not play well with webex, especially in lower light. Webex autoadjusts the contrast upwards all the time which makes you look like a ghost probably on webex, but other webcams havent had this problem, probably because it allows such a large range of contrasts.

I had previously bought a HP webcam several years ago that said it was HD, but it was anything but that. As I wanted to start doing more streaming and YouTube content I looked up what was a good webcam without going mad with price. This one seemed to come up as a really popular choice. A lot of people sell this for around 125 or so, but do not just jump in and pay those prices as there are a lot people who will sell it for a good 40 to 50 less than that. And that is where its true value comes from. The webcam was fairly easy to set up, although I did have issues with the software it installed and had to manually download the latest version from the Logitech website, which worked fine. The picture quality is great and thankfully does work in darker light, but will look a little grainy if the lighting is not the best. It can do full 1080p at 30fps, but if you want 60fps you need to drop to 780p. It does do green screen background removal without the need of an actual green screen, but it is quite messy with very jagged, changeable edges around you, and really does not like hair. This option is dependent on your PC though, as older less powerful machines will not be able to run it I believe you will need an i7 or above. The built in microphone is much the same as any other webcam, and picks up most ambient background noise so a proper microphone would be beneficial. Compared to my old HP webcam, this is quite a chunky sizeable cam, but it has a lot more built into it. It sits quite solidly on the top of my monitor but if required it does come with a little desk top tripod which is a nice touch. I have tested this with several websites and platforms such as YouTube, Twitch, Skype and OBS. You can probably buy better webcams than this, but expect to pay much higher prices. For any aspiring web cammer or YouTuber this is a great piece of kit without breaking the bank.

While the camera quality is great when in the Logitech software, be aware that many video conference apps like Zoom, Google Meet, etc are often limited to much lower resolution and slower frames per second. The biggest reason I got this was to help improve picture quality, lighting and overall appearance on meetings which I may as well use the 720p camera on my MacBook to cut out wires, extra software, etc.The ability to position this camera and use the small but useful tripod it came with is nice though. Rather than stacking books to align the laptop camera with my profile, I can simple attach it to my monitor and sit more comfortably. The software it came with, LogiCapture, has recently gotten a bug asking me to update the Capture Aces software but I am prevented with an error when trying to install. I also find myself jumping between browsers to use this camera as Firefox never recognizes it the first few tries, chrome makes my laptop fans propel like a jet engine so I end up back with Safari but prefer to use a separate browser for work rather than work and personal in the same for sake of logins, etc.Id recommend this more for vlogging and content creators and instead sticking to the camera thats in your laptop unless you need the ability to pivot and adjust angles of your camera. Its a nice camera but the bugs and limitations of virtual meeting software hold it back from being great.

Ordered the product during the covid scare in March and just received it in August. Knew it was on back order. So far its been great, provides a clearer picture, also uses ambient lighting better so image isnt as dark. The camera also takes in a wider view so if multiple people are FaceTiming on one device more peeps can be seen. Its pretty compact and easy to set up. Would highly recommend.

So heres the scoop. After finally being able to score one of these, I must say, Im impressed. The set up on Windows is easy and the microphone is superb. The picture quality is top notch but youll need the software to access features like changing the built in ring light settings. The clip design is a bit clunky since it spills over a bit on small bezel monitors. This is not a deal breaker for me. Given that this is a enhanced model, youd think it would come with the camera cover but youll have to pony up for that. The price isnt a wallet buster but for the features its on the pricier side.

Its nice to put up on the big screen TV so I can use it for video conferencing, but the image is pretty average to me. It doesnt handle bright hot spots well at all. If you have flat lighting, it looks good, but if you have any bright spots, it clips hard and looks bad. Definitely subpar to the cameras they use in an iPhone or a Galaxy from Samsung. The more light you feed into it, the worse it looks. Its like they focused so much on improving low light quality that they sacrificed its ability in well lit scenarios. The photos I uploaded are of it in very dim lighting, basically just lit by my computer screen, and then when I have a bright bulb lighting me. The software allows you to adjust brightness, contrast, focus, color, and white balance. You cant control the exposure or iris separately. Lowering the brightness in bright light just turns the overexposed parts of the image to a muddy gray instead of adjusting the exposure. I wouldnt say this is a 100 quality webcam. For a device with Pro in the name, it lacks professional controls. Im a professional video editor. This isnt professional equipment.

Ive had a C920 for years and wanted to upgrade so I could use the old one at work. Finally saw these available and grabbed one. As expected, excellent quality. Appreciate the balance it has when placed on my monitor. The weight helps keep it in place, very steady. Picture quality is excellent. Id say it does a little better job than the C920 it replaced in terms of adjusting for the high contrast light I deal with during the day. Highly recommended.

So many mixed reviews regarding webcams that makes it easy to be very hesitant on getting any. However, I needed one and decided on this one and it does the job. The image quality is great for being part of a streaming service or being in a conference video call. Its much better than using my laptops webcam for sure. Dont expect image quality to be the upmost best like a high end smartphone processing the image or youll be looking for a while for that from a webcam until a new line comes out. This is great getting good high quality video for others to see you clearly. If you move oftenfrequently sometimes the auto focus takes some time to adjust but its nothing too bad. Overall this is a great webcam and just cant wait for webcams to start updating like other external hardware devices.

I love using this camera for my streams and youtube videos. Only problem I have with this camera is the fact that the settigns do not save in terms of contrast or saturation levels so when you turn your computer off and then back on you have to change the Settings again for OBS when trying to stream. On another note once you get the image to your liking it is perfect. Crisp picture and registers green screen very well Amazing buy

I thought that the camera is a very good quality picture. Good audio through the speakers. Easy to set up with one exception. When setting up for a Mac laptop there is one little trick that is not the cameras fault. The camera is USB powered and I discovered on my wifes 15 inch MacBook Pro that not al of the USB ports were powered I worked for quite a while to figure out why I couldnt get the computer to recognize the camera The solution was to switch USB ports in the laptop, to a powered one, and then everything came to life and was instantly ready to use

This webcam basically works right out of the box, and the picture quality is quite good. But on my Mac, the image can be very overexposed if its a sunny day even when Im Zooming in my basement with a small window, and theres not any included software to control exposure. Logitechs support site was not very helpful. It took a few days of hunting and multiple app downloads to discover that the free Logitech G Hub app would allow me to control exposure. As far as I can tell, on the Mac, Logitechs Camera Settings app and Logi Capture app, both also free, do not have a way of controlling exposure.

I call this the miracle webcam because I couldnt believe the difference when I switched from my built in laptop camera to this one. On my laptop camera, I looked like I was an old woman in a horror movie. This Logitech camera has great lighting and resolution that took me from looking like an old woman in a horror film to the pretty one that gets killed in the shower. Well maybe not that cute but I can at least stand seeing myself on zoom now. Seriously, this is a very nice camera and I have now purchased two for my family.

High image quality. Easy setup. Plus, the mini tripod is useful if you have a curved monitor. It has a built in mic. Surprisingly, it picked up sound pretty well. I was pleasantly surprised with the audio quality. Highly recommend this one

This webcam was not the webcam I was intending to purchase. I intended to buy the 50.00 Logitech webcam. My local Staples store did not have the 50.00 webcam on the shelf due to COVID19 supply shortages. So I went with this. Its twice what I intended to pay. But the higher resolution, the additional versatility offered with the tripod already in the box and the suite of programs available for download from the Logitech website to bring out the full functionality of the camera these three things for the most part offset the price paid. This is an ideal solution for those that need a reliable device for remote learning or teleconferencing.

I bought three of these cameras for work and I am glad that I did. They work great for video calling, etc.First, the microphone. It is much better than I thought it would be. In fact, I stopped using my clip on microphone and now only use the one on the webcam. The picture quality is much better than anything Ive seen on a laptop especially when you set it the HD mode.Attaching the webcam to your computer monitor is not quite obvious and it takes a few minutes to figure out the best way to do it.Im glad I made the purchase. Why four stars instead of fiveThe camera sometimes struggles with color accuracy. The green stripes on my shirt appeared grey on my computer monitor screen. If you want higher color accuracy, make sure that youve got excellent lighting.Tom

I ordered the version with the tripod because they were in stock. The same model without the tripod is less expensive, but there is a long leadtime, Presumably because so many people are telecommuting during COVID19.First of all, the camera is so small Its amazing what they can pack into such a small package. I dont need the tripod, but it is very well made. The second thing is that I was impressed that I didnt need to download any drivers it is truly plug and play. Thirdly, the picture quality is excellent. I would buy this again.

Great webcam. This is they best model They have a couple newer models but they do not hold a candle to this.Simple setup just plug it in, and clear pic. Nice mic built it. Also nice small tripod for those who cannot put on their monitor. In fact it was designed so even if you DO hang it from a monitor, you can leave the tripod on to move and maneuver.Works great with facebook, and Discord.

For Windows 10. It was very easy to setup. The picture is nice and clear. I actually use a separate external Logitech USB microphone, one that I can put closer to me but still out of view of the camera. It helps with the echo in the room and I dont have to yell at it. I do miss my earlier Logitech QuickCam 9000 but I cant find the software for that anywhere, it had some really neat and fun filters. This new one does not. But for straight video conference calls this is great.

Thoroughly impressed with this camera. My desk is set up with a window behind me which makes it difficult for most webcams to expose the image correctly. Typically the background is way too bright and face ends up being too dark. This job does a good job of making sure the image is not too dark in this scenario which is quite impressive. Pair this cam with some good lighting and its going to be much better than whatever is built right into your laptop.

Excellent webcam. I had purchased a higher end camera a week before and it did not auto focus properly and the custom settings you can set up via the software could not be applied to use with video conferencing.Like most webcams you need to have a proper amount of light. This cameras feed looks great with enough light. You can setup settings in Logitech Capture and then select Logitech Capture as the source in video conferencing applications.

I first bought a J5Create but I had problems… I have a new apple M1 chip and wanted a new camera. This Logitech autofocuses very nicely and has a good app that helps control the widescreen or standard view. What this does not have is an adjustable angle to better put me in frame, it is just set in its standard arrangement then no physical adjustments. This will digitally adjust using the logi app.
ERIC –
I bought this device because it was literally the only webcam in the store and I needed one. Way more expensive than the others, and much higher quality than I need for Zoom meetings. But, I got it and its good. Super easy to set up, just plug it in and let Windows configure it. Havent had any complaints about the video quality, or glitches, or anything else. The only thing that is kind of a pain is that the clamp that holds it on top of the monitor doesnt actually clamp on. Its more of a friction and gravity kind of thing. Sort of tricky to get it adjusted to the frame I want to show, and it moves over time. Not a big deal though. Havent used the tripod, but it looks solid and adjusts easily.
bizchaplain –
The product seems to work perfectly, with clear images and sound pickup. But the documentation is substandard in my opinion. Especially with the instructions for replacing the battery. In fact, FINDING the battery access has so far been impossible for me. Even Logitechs website is deficient in providing that information. And a web search of forums has shown that nobody knows anything about replacing the battery.
Jared –
You can find better webcams that are cheaper and provide the same quality of video. They all basically use the same sensors. Its surprising how far behind the webcam market is. Id check other generic brands online before I paid the amount of money for this. On my MacBook Pro the quality was grainy and couldnt properly autofocus on my face. It kept focusing on the background. Build quality is great though.

Good overall webcam. Video quality is really good audio is decent. Lowlight is about as good as any of the 3 webcams Ive tried. Just a personal preference, but I dont like how close the video is zoomed in on face when connected to the top of my laptop. I wish this camera had a zoom feature to allow you to zoom out some. I also dont understand why Logitech didnt include a lens cover on this model. That being said, it is a good camera, and wellreviewed by most who buy it.I ended up buying the Aluratek AWC4KF on sale for 130.00. While you give up the custom featureseffects you get with the Logitech software, it has a wider field of view, it has a zoom feature allowing you to adjust that field of view, it has a little better audio quality a lens cover.

Spent 3 days researching the best camera for Mac and bought this one. I hooked it up and find out the software does not work with Big Sur nor do they have and idea of when it might First customer support person told me to use Photo Booth and second told me, since the Logitech capture software is not compatible with MacOS Big Sur, you will not be able to use the software to set up the camera Image looks good but too bright and cannot evaluate or rate ease of use or Quality without seeing the software .

I used this both directly and through their Capture Video Editing Software. Both had very good video but the audio from the microphones was significantly less than the computers microphone output. The software is a blast and contains many useful functions, especially when you take a 12 minute to register.I would buy this product again, if need arose.

I have a old MacBook Pro from 2012. If you own one from that year, you know how bad the camera quality is on that MacBook. I was looking around for a good option that will not break my bank. This webcam is perfect. Its not the most expensive one out there or the cheapest. The quality of the image exceeded my expectations. All I had to do was plug in the USB that came with it in my MacBook and it started working. Video quality is really good way better than the camera on my MacBook. Autozoomfocus and adjusting the lighting are some of the best features it has. If you need a quality webcam because you have a old MacBook and you need it for work meetings online and you dont want to brake your bank, then this is what you should get.

I purchased this webcam so that I would not need to use a green screen when online. I was using a Logitech 1.3 megapixel webcam that I purchased more than 6 years ago previously. The physical green screen was great with that webcam but my image was not as clean and use of a physical green screen was mandatory. With this new webcam, my image is clean but the physical green screen image is spotty. I have used all sorts of lighting with only temporary success. At some point within minutes, the spotty physical green screen image will return. The virtual green screen even looks better than the physical green screen image, but then there is too much of a haze around my image with the virtual green screen. I even upgraded my computer to use an Intel Core i7 processor. Same results. For a Pro Stream Webcam, it seems more average joe.

Like the C920 model before these are another cracking little camera from Logitech. Plugged it into a Windows 10 Machine and it detected and installed the software in about a minute. Tested it with Zoom, Teams, WeChat etc… and all works fine. Picture quality is excellent and give natural looking skin tones and no grain webcamovision like your horrid built in laptop cam. Highly recommend for both business and personal use.

We got tired of the blurry, grainy and video from out laptop camera on video calls. I did quite a bit of research and without spending hundreds of dollars, this camera came out on top for me. Its literally plug and play. Super easy set up and it works great. We did comparison tests using the light and we were blown away by how much better this camera worked. We also purchased some panel lights to really help control the light sourcethis wasnt mandatory for a quality picture, but helped bring things to a higher level of quality. Bottom linethis is a great camera with a great microphoneit made a huge difference for calls.

I waited a long time before this webcam was back in stock and I was able to buy it. I had done my research and decided this webcam was the best one for me based on my needs and my budget. I am not a streamer, so I did not need the more expensive Logitech webcams. However, I did want to have the option of using Logitech Capture which was not available with less expensive webcams.I have only used the camera for webinars and Zoom calls, but the picture quality was good in both cases. I used my Steelseries headset for audio, so I cannot speak to the quality of the microphones in this webcam. I also mounted this webcam on my own small tripod that is more stable than the one with which it came. The bottom line is this webcam is a perfect fit for me.

Ive been waiting months for this webcam. Covid has made selections for decent webcams slim to none and the great webcams are almost never in stock. While it may seem like a high price, for the quality and built in mic, I think its worth it. It also provided a wide angle so that you never have to adjust the webcam. Its a clear 1080 P video and provides one of the best pictures Ive ever seen for a webcam.

I bought this webcam for online meetings and conferences. I have a working laptop webcam but was not happy with the quality. Of course I was not the only one buying a laptop during the pandemic so products are either not available or too expensive. That camera here was at a reasonable price and does a good job. However, it need good light conditions. Once it gets too dark the quality looks like my laptop camera. But with some lights turned on it is a huge improvement.

I purchased this webcam because my older Logitech was having image corruption issues, only to learn that it was GPU driver bug.. Oh well.I do not regret the purchase its a really good webcam. Autofocus and other autosettings work well. Lowlight performance is very adequate. Stereo microphone is a plus when doing family Skype calls. My main issue with it is the lack of swivel to the side when sitting on top of a monitor. My old Logitech could be adjusted, not this one. On the other hand, it has a tripod mount with a supplied minitripod, so if a tricky angle is needed its possible to achieve it. Also, the field of view is wide enough for this not to be a serious issue most of the time.Other downsides no Windows Hello face biometrics, no 1080p60 are understandable for this class of webcam there are higherclass devices e.g. Brio that fulfill those needs.

I needed to upgrade from my old Logitech Pro 9000 which was not performing well in Zoom on my Windows 10 PC. This newer C922 Pro model is working great. Much better video with wide angle and superior low light clarity. Sound others hear from built in mics is good. It was simple to plug in and use right away. I have downloaded the Logitech Capture software but have not needed it much to tweak the many settings and features. The privacy shutter is a nice addition.

I am pleased with this camera and the quality it produces. I own the prior model, C920 which was handed down to my son for recording. The upgraded frame rate to 60fps during 720p recordings is extremely clean, and produces very good quality recordings when used in conjunction with OBS. Set up of the camera was a breeze, however the UI was a tad different and took some time to fine tune settings. The indicator light showing it is in use has changed from a blue as was present on the C920 to a soft white, which at times feels easier on the eyes. If you happen to have the privacy cover from the C920, you will be pleased as punch to know it is compatible with this model. As with the previous model, the microphone leaves me wanting more however I only used it for testing purposes as I have a dedicated microphone for voice recording. The background replacement feature is nice, however I feel chromakeying with a dedicated green screen is still the way to go. That being said, it did a very good job in taking out the background, especially with my living room having more than one solid color to have to phase out. I really like this camera, and have yet to come across any real issues.

Like many people I have been looking for Logitech webcams the past few months and had an alert set up at Bestbuy for when it came into stock. I had bought two lookalike offbrand versions of this camera that did not have autofocus. They were a pain. We had to replug them in each time and we didnt have control over the focus to get our image to look OK. This model Logitech and the associated software were a relief. Lots of options for screens and seeing different monitors we have three monitor setups and our image within the presentation. Focus controls Highly recommend.

With right lights this camera incredibly good. I bought it and didnt regret, high resolution, frame rate, thats all what I needed so far. Good for streaming and if you work from home. Built in mic is good too, but I did overkill and bought yeti. When I speak with someone, they notice clear picture and crisp and clear sound. I would definitely recommend this camera to buy.

Works as expected easy to plug and play and get right to work. Very clear image quality and not wifey advertised bigger field of view compared to inbuilt laptop camera. I use it on my external monitor plugged into it directly through USBC to my MacBookPro. No problems to date with the exception of once a month glitchy image think Max Headroom, which is easily fixed with unplugging and plugging again. Good indicator light, too, not too bright or distracting. Wish it had physical privacy slider though.

Video quality for Zoom Meetings is excellent, as is sound quality. It has a solid feel and appears well constructed, consistent with other Logitech products. Installation plug and play was a snap. The only downside is that the free webcam controller software is not as easy to use as the legacy controller software and it does not appear to be backward compatible, but I am still searching.

The Logitech C922 Pro Stream WebCam is a fantastic product The WebCam is easy to connect to my laptop via USB, and automatically starts the video. A grand improvement over the low resolution camera which is standard in a laptop or computer. This device is great to utilize with webbased applications such as ZOOM, or WebEx. I love my Logitech WebCam
TheRedRoach –
Not the most megapixels out there and I think its been superseded by newer models, but does a great job for my purposes meetings and virtual appearances. Great sound with the dual microphones.I would have given it five stars except for the complete lack of instructions for set up and troubleshooting. Plug and play Not exactly. Took a call to my techie brother and some fiddling in settings to get both the video and audio to work. But once its set up properly, its troublefree.

Now I never seen this review before, hence the 3 stars because Ill be the first to say it unless its just usererror then I might change it back to 5. Overall its great quality, price, FOV, etc but the flickering lines. The only option I get is 50hz or 60hz which neither of them work. Added all kinds of light from dimmed to brightest, either or and I still couldnt find any way to get them away unless I got sold with a lemon C922 I really feel bad while writing this because most of the issues people have in here is just the webcam microphone which is common because theyre not meant for it. But flickering both hz options not working I dont know. Hopefully I get the help I need because other than what I just said, the only way I get to get them away is if I turn the light all the way to the point that Im blinded which is very frustrating adjusting for the whole 4 weeks I own this.

I actually had to return this camera as it was defective. Overall thoughts5 stars for picture quality based on my initial test of the camera. The image was exceptionally sharp, the camera balanced light and focus really well and, overall, the image looked great. In terms of webcam image quality you cant really do better than this there are even more expensive cameras, but your internet bandwidth and video call software wont let you stream more than 1080p so you dont need to spend more than this camera.1 star for reliabilityquality control the unit I got actually seemed to have dirt trapped inside the cameralens, so my image had a blurry black spot in it that could not be removed and hence I had to return it. For such a high end camera and given that this is a common problem that camera manufacturers should be checking for during quality control I thought the defect was not acceptable and may indicate bigger manufacturing quality problems with this model.Averaged the two for a 3 star rating.

This is for the 922 Pro. Great image. Works perfectly. Not sure if I really needed this high level of a camera above the standard 920 model which would have been about half the price. Seemed like the 920 was sold out everywhere so I grabbed this one in an emergency. I just really use if for basic Zoom calls and it does have good resolution. I have a 920 on my other computer and I really cannot tell the difference in resolution or quality between the two. I guess this one says something about streaming and it also came with the tripod which I didnt really need.
JOz1319 –
Great quality webcam. I use this for streaming and I have yet to have my cam lag or be grainy. It comes with nice software to blur your background or replace it with an auto green screen feature. My computer unfortunately isnt good enough to let me use it along side my capture card and mic, but Ive used it on its own just testing it out and that worked great as well. I would 100 recommend spending the extra to get this cam over the cheaper Logitech cams

I was hoping to update my old MacBook Pro camera with this but it was a fail. The autofocus is impossible to get to work, so why even have this feature I downloaded the suggested program so as to be able to turn off the autofocus feature why even have it but it didnt make much improvement. I tried multiple tricks suggested online this is a very common issue but I never did get the focus to work properly. I tried it on my iMac also and same issue. Ended up returning which was painless.

Im using this C922 webcam on an older Macintosh OS X 10.11.6 El Capitan. It was very easy to set up, and it has done a great job in the 12 days since I bought it.So far Ive done 5 different Zoom job interviews. The video was incredibly smooth as compared to the video of some of the people who interviewed me this really made a good impression where it counts. One interviewer commented at how unusually good it looked.I set the camera up so that there is a blank light colored wall behind me because I do not like the virtual background feature built into Zoom it can be annoying and distracting. Doing it this way also results in much better and more even lighting.I recommend that you use a webcam testing web page before your first Zoom meeting just google test webcam. I used one of those pages to tweak the orientation of the cam, so I was confident that I looked good during the first interview. If possible minimize how much you have to tilt it up or down. I have it on the top of my 27 inch 4k monitor, and I moved the monitor up and down on its stand instead of tilting the cam.The cam includes a nice little telescopic tripod, but I have not yet used it.I am very happy with this webcam I recommend it if you can afford the cost.

This didnt wow me like I thought it would for the price point. You have to download a separate program to tinker with it, but even then the image isnt sharp, its grainy, and while it says you can save a profile, every time I quit out of the LG Program and jump back in the saved profile looks wildly different than before, so then you gotta retinker to get it back to normal. And yes… this is in a controlled light setting. Nothing is different but starting up the software again. For the price, I was unimpressed. Unfortunately I didnt test out until after my return window was closed. Bummer.

I looked around at a lot of different cameras for video conferences. I largely use zoom and Microsoft Teams but occasionally use Google Hangouts. This camera performed great under all three platforms. The builtin microphone clearly picks up my voice for the calls.Installation is a snap, largely Windows took care of everything on the installation automatically when I plugged it into the USB port. I was worried about how it would attach to the monitor but the clip worked fine with my Acer monitor and allows for minor adjustments during video calls with no problems. It applies just enough pressure to the monitor to hold in place but not damage the monitor at all.The mount also comes off so I could attach to a circle light if I wanted and it also comes with a small tripod that I havent used yet if you want to have a different camera angle.Allinall, Id recommend this camera to someone looking to purchase for video conferencing.

The Camera was easy to set up. I unpackaged it, plugged it into the USB port and it worked. I use a Lenovo laptop, but separate monitors and I typically leave the computer closed. The camera was auto detected and works great with both Teams and Zoom. The bracket that comes installed on the camera is easy to adjust and allows it to sit easily on top of my dell 27 monitor. My only concern is it is not a low cost option. I guess you get what you pay for. I didnt remove any stars for this because it does exactly what I need it to do and was easy to set up

I was looking for a webcam to upgrade our virtual experience with family, friends, and colleagues during the pandemic. I was assisted by two different associates who provided feedback and assurance about this product when I was very specific about not needing the best or most expensive webcam out there, but that I was more interested in a good value for a major upgrade from builtin laptop cameras. They both had different knowledge about all of the webcam products, which was immensely helpful in my ability to choose. This webcam not only is a huge upgrade from my computer webcam as far as resolution, it has a better mic as well. Its also adjustable and rests easily on the back of your monitor or other item for capturing you in the frame just how you wantI was hesitant to spend so much, but after some research, this turned out to be the exact right choice for a few more dollars than Id originally budgeted for. You can trust that you dont need to spend 300 to get a vastly improved experience, especially if youre not needing boardroom level tech.

I bought this for my new pc build. Its a huge upgrade from my old laptops builtin camera. My friends noticed a huge improvement in my video quality. I even had one say it looks like Im a professional streamer I really like all of the settings Im able to adjust. Originally, the video was a bit yellow, but it was easy to adjust the video to appear bright and neutral. Im temporarily using the mic in this webcam until I can get a better quality one. Its better than my headsets mic, but picks up a lot of other sounds. I have a soft voice that doesnt carry well and it struggles to pick it up sometimes.

I was initially frustrated on this emergency purchase. The capture software and camera control looked great. I started Zoom, selected the c922 ProStream camera in the Zoom settings and was immediately bummed by the wide angle of view with no apparent field of view control. It took me until the next day to realize I should have selected the Logi Capture camera setting in Zoom. Simultaneously running Zoom and Logi Capture software allows all of the camera functionality with Zoom sessions running.

This is an awesome webcammicrophone duo. It works with a simple tweak to input device in the system preference panel. First Zoom call was seamless. The camera adjusted to both light and distance. The microphone pickedup voice well the receiver of the conversation said all was loud and clear, including my image in a relatively poorly lit room. Nice to be so easy

This webcam was not at all what I expected. Sure its easy to use but youd better hope the autofocus is on and it works. My very first time using this webcam the video was NOT focused at all, and the only way to adjust the focus is to DISASSEMBLE the webcam entirely and turn the cameras focus yourself, physically. If you buy this webcam, be sure to stop by Home Depot on the way home for a small toolkit as well because youll need it just to make this camera focus.

I tell him for Cumstomer Services Logitech 4K quality but he oders wrong staff and Moving my head slightly forward or backwards where the screen will change the lighting on my face EVER so slightly will cause the webcam to autoadjust the lighting of the whole image very drastically. It almost looks like a lightning show. So dont move too much if your whole cam view isnt superevenly well lit. I put away my 2 studio lights to reduce the overwhelming light while gaming and streaming since I put away my green screen and bought a big light ring instead. I have to put the light on the nearlowest setting or else my face is just a white spot.I wanted to use the background blur feature from chroma cam cause it was a listed feature The C922 can do it but apparently the Brio dropped support for it. You can use the autobackground removal in Streamyard or OBS but you wont be able to change any settings and its pretty bad unless the whole image is completely well lit. The C922 will let you choose many settings though and has proper chroma cam support. There is a setting that is on by default and is automatically set back on every time you reboot. It is called Low light compensation. You probably want to disable this because you will either be well lit and not need it, or be partially well lit and your cam will drop to 5 fps at times. This setting cannot be disabled from the logitech webcam software. Youll have to access the webcam settings through thirdparty software streamyard OBS or an older version of the logitech webcam software. Make sure you only have 1 cam installed or you wont be able to access the Brios settings. I was using 2 cams and the older software could only see my old cam until I uninstalled it completely. If you want to change the setting, just use Streamyard, add a video capture device source, select brio and then click properties Change video settings on the source and it will popup some extra settings for your webcam. A lot of the options you wont want to touch as when you manually move them, none of the values on the slider will actually be close to what the auto option does.

Great video quality esp at 1080 where there is no video scaling going on. Auto focus for macro usage is a bit clumsy, it keeps hunting around but eventually you usually get a good macro focus. The audio quality not the greatest, Id rather use a lapel mic.

Finally I used the webcam Saturday, May 8th and it worked so well. I am very happy with it.Only regret is that I should have made the purchase at the beginning of the Pandemic instead of using my small cell phone and my tablet. This worked out much better. and I could see and hear the other participants. Glad that I finally made the purchase and I would recommend it to anyone.Mary
