Purchased this to transfer pictures from a SD memory card to my iPad. Works perfectly, like all Apple products. However, I think its a little overpriced, like all Apple products.

I want to give this one star because Im still steamed that Apple makes us pay for stuff like this after paying a HUGE premium for their laptops… But it does work as it should. Just ridiculous that we have to spend this kind of money to make our computers usable.

Works incredibly well with the Mac. Id recommend anyone get the Apple brand accessories over the 3rd party rebrand. If you go with Apple you know it will work no questions asked.

For me this is a must have, I like to take a lot of pictures and video and this makes it so easy to import onto my iPad. Even better when Im finished doing what I need to do I can transfer it back to my SD card basically allowing me to save storage space on my iPad and use an SD card as an external storage.

After updating from the 2012 Mac Mini to the 2018 Mac Mini, I was disappointed to see the SD card slot had disappeared. However, this reader has proven to be a great solution for the issue. Sure its another accessory to buy, but I think I actually prefer this to a card potentially getting stuckbroken while directly in the computer by accident.
