This thing looks great and sounds phenomenal. You will never need to go close to full blast. The bass boost can shake a house at half volume. Would defo be enough for a large gathering too. Bluetooth is solid and the app which lets you play sound effects is a good laugh. 2 people found this helpful

My first venture into smart watches, never been interested before, I initially looked at some of the lesser brands due to price but couldn’t place my trust in them , I have a galaxy phone so studied the samsung watches very tempted but couldn’t handle the 1 day battery life . Attention then went on Garmin but put off by the prices and although I initially I wanted a colour display once the this chrome only display rugged Casio g shock imitating watch came to my attention at the perfect price on Gadget Tree I was soon sold. 5 double function buttons which equates to 10 meaning no need for touching screen. This watch has plenty of smarts despite the humble appearance, I love the hot buttons for short cuts such as access to radio controls, I clean windows so like my radio so when a customer approaches 2 clicksand I mute the volume. When I Start a walk or bike ride it’s 2/3 clicks to record time and distance. Set up takes time to get it just right and lots of button pressing – learning which can be a tad frustrating but give it the time it needs,DO NOT Send it back, this is an outstanding watch in which I get 19 days battery life with minimal charging time when it eventually gets low. Watch looks/ feels great I have bought some click on straps as the one fitted was heavy and dull tho top quality as you would expect. Sleep features on watches bring different thoughts from reviewers but I think it’s mostly accurate and I like the morning report it gives me. The app is fine for me. The blue tooth range is excellent meaning I can leave phone downstairs and while upstairs I will receive all notifications of emails and WhatsApp and missed calls This watch may well appeal to younger ones with better eyes than my 46 year old ones , i do struggle a bit so as I said not for everybody, some may well be better off with the next affordable colour display . The rugged nature of the watch means I can not worry too much when at work or football, I did buy the black little cover to protect it which is good but haven’t bothered with screen protectors tho I would have other watch but the screen lays deep in to the watch. I definitely recommend Garmin on a company who create lots of watches for lots of different needs, even wagon drivers can buy a version of this for their needs, amazing. It’s great how it doesn’t look or drain battery like a smartwatch but smart it definitely is in every sense of the word. 25 people found this helpful

I was initially worried about the amount of money I had spent on this, however when it arrived and I unbixed it my mind was set it was worth it. The unit is strong and sturdy, waterproof means I can leave it near the hot tub and I’ve even left it out over night accidentally and it rained yet its still going strong. Sound quality is great as you’d expect from JBL, volume I find is loud enough I don’t need to go over 50% volume. Flashing lights pattern adds a nice little touch without it looking cheap. Battery has real going power and will easily last a night of providing music to your party. Moving the unit I easy as it has wheel, my only criticism is the wheels could be wider or slightly bigger as they are not very stable as when you get to a certain walking speed the whole unit bounces from side to side and can topple whilst you’re still pulling it. 7 people found this helpful

Good sound quality with a durable well built construction. No distortion maxed out. 240w rms which is ample to fill any domestic room & it WILL annoy your neighbours! Purchase two & you won’t have any neighbours! Connects quickly to bluetooth. 12v power cable can be purchased for £24.99 if you wanted to use the 310 in your car. Bass reproduction when positioned in boot of a car is really enhanced. Battery lasts as long as it says on the tin but only at moderate volumes. I have noticed it does lose some power at higher end once the battery starts draining. If you connect it to the mains whilst playing music you can hear the difference in gain as it takes up the 240v power. Despite my observation it does a very good job on the battery. Keep the software updated via the JBL app. Lightshow & sound effects straight forward & easy to use. Mic inputs etc as per images. Floor standing rubber feet so you can position the speaker horizontally if you so wish. Exact same price £499.00 direct from JBL but their delivery 5 – 7 days Out of the JBL partybox range I would say the 310 is the best value for money. It certainly won’t disappoint. I have a pair linked via TWS function. Absolutely awesome!!!… 22 people found this helpful

I don’t do many reviews but this speaker has brought me to do it as it speaks for itself. Everything stands out to me about this speaker, mainly the bass as I absolutely love bass and this speaker satisfies everything in that aspect without losing any of the high end frequencies. The speaker reaches an outstanding lows of 18kHz which is integrated with a bass pass out the back of the speaker where the pressure from the woofer forces the bass sound out of the back end which fills any room with endless bass. I thought the tweeters frequencies would fade out with the bass being so strong. But was I wrong. The tweeters maintain a solid sound rich sound simultaneously with the bass which brings a great listening pleasure. The only design features I could fault about this speaker is the weight (which is unavoidable with the quality of the parts and materials), location of the bass pass as the sound doesn’t dissipate evenly if laying flat, but does not matter to me much as it still provides that full bass either way and the battery life which is 12 hours fully charged without the lights and bass boost, although that may be 6 hours with the bass boost and the lights on which is not a problem at all as I don’t move it around much. The TRS ports are just a bonus to me as I do like to plug it into my PCs audio interface sometimes whilst gaming. 2 people found this helpful

The 1000 Partybox is a monster of a speaker. I had this in my basket for over a year and saw a flash message that it was heavily discounted at Amz Warehouse due to dmg box. It was a no brainer to get it at a silly price and I’m so happy. We have regular parties and sometimes hire a DJ, this will now remove the DJ. The sound is outstanding, no ifs or buts. The bass if you use the boost function takes it way beyond what our previous DJ’ we’re giving us. You cant use enhanced bass indoors or you literally start rattling the windows. Light show is a bit ‘meh’ compared to a proper setup and pretty useless when outdoors but better indoors. All in, very happy with the speaker. Sound 10/10, it’s really heavy so moving it needs a bit of planning, lighting is ok but not what you should be buying the speaker for and all the other buttons for the DJ on the top are pointless for my needs so they get 3/10 because they work (and there are loads of them)…. nuff said. If you want loud and bassy look no further than this speaker. Edit 07/09/24 We have moved this into a garden building for the past few weeks. It is my favourite garden kit along with my log splitter. So many happy hours of really thumping tunes outdoors that I would have had to pay into the £xxxx area to get the same sound. seriously a great bit of kit if you can get a deal on it. 5 people found this helpful

There are good and not so good qualities of this speaker. Although I found it decent to use overall, I still decided to return it nearly two weeks after buying it. The build is fantastic and pleasing, the battery life is as the ad stated, along with the weight, and although this speaker is quite heavy, the design of it facilitated its portability through having two large built-in handles and metallic rings for a strap to clip on to. However, first off, the bass on this speaker is so-so and the “Bass Boost” option hardly does anything. In some circumstances, the “Bass Boost” actually makes the music slightly quieter and distorted. Granted, you can hear the music clear in other circumstances, but you can’t really “feel” it. Although the speaker is decent in music, but seems to do a fantastic job in sound when it comes to streaming action movies. Secondly, this speaker is not best at 100%. I’ve been probing with the volume settings and oddly enough, the sound is much more effective between 60% to 75% volume than hearing it at a full 100%. I felt that at full volume, the speaker is trying very hard to bring out the bass in the music but it is being bottlenecked. And lastly, unlike other Partybox models, this model doesn’t have a companion app, meaning you can’t make any adjustments beyond the speaker. There are control knobs affixed to the top of the device, but these controls are for the wireless microphones and plug-in instruments – they do not contribute to wireless music being played over the speaker. Such a shame, as I feel this would better help adjust the speaker to a user’s preference. It is a decent speaker, but I don’t believe it’s worth the near £300 I paid. UPDATE (13-12-22): I purchased and received the W-King T11 (100W speaker), and I have to say that I was immediately impressed. I found the T11 to be much louder, having more bass, and very little compression at max volume, and this is only the tip of the iceberg. On top of everything else, I only bought the T11 at half the price I paid for the JBL party box speaker – one of the rare cases where something actually wasn’t too good to be true. 7 people found this helpful
