Ever since the release of Bluetooth earphones I have been an avid fan. Such devices, combined with a phone strap, have revolutionised my fitness as I often found that the old wire that got in the way was tedious. A year ago I purchased my first wireless Bluetooth earphones which lasted me a year because unfortunately the battery became unsustainable. Although they were a cheap pair for £20 that I got from a market while in Spain. Anyway, I loved them and always wore them at university. They were basically a cheap version of Apple’s air pods. While searching for a new pair I decided this time that I would fork out a little more cash and decided to purchase the Tozo’s. So far so good, it’s everything it promised in the description and came nicely packaged. You are provided with four sizes of earphone rubber, which is reassuring if you have small ears like me and they fit snuggly. The sound quality is perfect and is synced with whatever image you’re watching on screen. To my pleasure, I can’t hear a thing when I put them in, useful if you live in a noisy household or flat. However, while I would give them five stars for sitting about, hiking or perhaps the gym- as a runner their are minor nuisances. Due to the sweat and wax that builds up around your ear, part in fact to the rubber which cuts off some air circulation for noise cancellation, they can become slippery while out running and tend to need pushed in again when combined with the jolting from the rough surfaces that I tend to run on. Then, because they are touch activated, you end up pausing your song due to the sensitivity of the earphones. Hence, for running, you would be safer purchasing earphones which have the design of the apple air pods. However, that said, I wouldn’t think about selling them because the sound quality and the excellent battery life outweighs the running inconveniences and you can still run with them! I just hate having to constantly adjust them in again when I feel them coming loose. 5 people found this helpful

The presentation of these ear buds is something that would leave Tim Cook sweaty and breathing heavily. They come nicely packaged with 3 additional sets of rubber insert thingies and a micro-USB cable in very smart packaging. They feel robust and of high quality. They don’t have the cheap plastic feel of other headphones I’ve owned. The charging case is a convenient size and easy to open. It closes with a satisfying click, and the ear buds also slip into their magnetised housing nicely. Battery indicators on the outside of the case are welcome, as is the wireless charging capability for those of us too lazy to simple plug it in! Pairing is easy; I placed mine into the charging box, removed them again and they popped up on my phone. I tried a couple of different sized rubber thingies to find the right fit; I can shake my head aggressively (as one does) without the ear buds moving at all. They don’t feel like they’re going to fall out despite the lack of over-ear support but I don’t foresee any issue using them for running. The sound quality is good for the price point, though sound quality connoisseurs may be left wanting; while I enjoy high quality sound at home, for travelling and exercise I wanted something I wouldn’t be upset to lose. I had a fiddle with the EQ on Spotify and found a balance I was happy with. The bass has the capacity to be impressive (providing they’re snug in the ears) and I didn’t hear any obvious deficiencies in the range. The audio controls are fairly easy to use. It takes a little while to ensure you tap the right bit of each ear bud (obviously you can’t see them and proprioception has its faults) but once you’re used to it, I found them to be nicely responsive to the controls. There is a brief voice cue (in a heavily American female voice, of course) which indicates the instruction you’ve given, aside from play/pause. I haven’t yet managed to get Siri to work but given that I hope never to be that knob in the gym, I’m not too bothered! I did an unnecessary amount of research before getting these and was confident before they came they were the best in the price range. On using them I feel that was a good call. 7 people found this helpful

OK, I am losing confidence in this flash as I have had 5 in the last 2 years, all from Gadget Tree, who are now refusing to refund in full as I am fed up with it. I use a pair of Canon EOS 5D mkII bodies and rely on this flash. Other versions and brand do not offer the full range of features, which I need include; Second Curtain Sync; High Speed Shutter Sync (beyond the usual 1/200th sec). The 430EXII is a great gun, but all of mine (and a few more bought from other places – including the MkI) have developed two faults. The first is that the gun stops flashing, like the bulb is gone. The capacitor charges up and the red light comes on, but the test button and using the camera do not produce a flash. the second issue is that they all seem to stop allowing the manual power settings to be input. Typically, when you press to shoot in manual, you get a power rating of 1/1 – or full blast -. Then, holding the select button down should make this blink on the LCD, allowing a lower setting to be input with the +/- buttons. They all did to start with, then fail. this means that I have no way of reducing the power output per flash burst when the gun is remotely triggered. My advice – make sure you have a spare or two because you never know when it will pop. One person found this helpful

I don’t usually write reviews but I spent ages reading reviews about earbuds I thought I’d return the favour! The main things I was looking for when purchasing earbuds were comfortablity, fit (or selection of buds), sturdiness (would they fall out as soon as I start exercising) and battery life. Admittedly I haven’t done a full hardcore run/exercise yet so will update this review when I do. Comfortablity and fit was a big hestitate for me ordering ear buds, and one of the reasons I hadn’t purchased Apple Airpods, but I must say as you get a selection of 6 different pairs of buds you’re more than likely to get an even better fit than apple (which is something they should advertise as I would have purchased them sooner!) Ironically enough the 6th choice of buds that came already on the headphones fit me perfectly so I haven’t had to try any others yet but it’s great to have the back-ups/options. Connectivity: Connecting to my phone took about 3 seconds, really it was that simple! Just took the headphones out of the case, they appeared on my phone and done. It’s also worth noting that they are very sleek and ‘hi-tech’. At first I was looking at Beats Pro or Apple Airpods Pro. I’d have love to purchase either as I’m a sucker for technology sometimes but couldn’t jusitfy the spend, and these definetly fill that void and more than worth the money. I also got a 10% off voucher so I truly can’t complain. Battery: They arrived charged and the case also has 75% (3 lights) so I haven’t needed to charge for 3 days. (It’s worth noting I’m not communting to work at the moment so may have needed to charge sooner- can’t say for sure) Sound Quality: They sound great! I was only on volume 3 listening to my music and that’s more than enough. Phone calls sounds perfectly fine and I haven’t had any complaints of poeple being able to hear me. However I haven’t tried on a busy street for example so can’t comment on that. Overall I’m more than happy with my purchase, sound and material quality is more than satisfying, it’s very user friendly and the wireless charging case it a big plus! 7 people found this helpful

I recently sent in a review , after one of my earbuds failed to have any sound, and after contacting Tozo via email, I was told I would they would send me a new set. Tozo followed through and my new earbuds have recently arrived, ( see picture). I was impressed with just one earbud working, but having two is totally amazing. Small enough to fit and stay in my tiny ears, as I have tried many different types of earbuds, and earphones and found they were either too large and uncomfortable or they kept falling out. The sound quality is brilliant. Noise reduction is great, my family thought I was ignoring them, so shows they block out other sounds perfectly. I mainly use mine for audiobooks and meditation apps and they are comfy enough to go to sleep in. Added bonus is they are waterproof and I have used them in the shower with no problem. No connection issues with my iphone 11 and I can leave my phone in the house and go in my back garden ( which is about 10 meters and not loose any signal unless I am practically over the fence. Charging is simple, came with charging case, lead and a set of different sized silicone tips. After a full charge they last for hours without recharging( I had a long journey to cornwall and they were still going after 7hours), although I do tend to put them in the charger every time I take them out. They can be used individually, and once you get the hang of the controls they are simple to use, just remember to pause before taking them out as they can sometimes skip forward if you touch the top of the right one whilst taking out. Id definitely consider buying the newer versions in future but for now these have proved a fantastic cheaper alternative to other more expensive popular wireless earbuds . Anyone having any issues just get in touch with Tozo , you wont regret it. It took less than two weeks to get the replacement buds and it has been the best customer care, I have experienced. Great value for money , Tozo is a brand to be trusted. 27 people found this helpful

Saying “you get what you pay for” in regards to these is both accurate, and a sign of the times. Five years ago, I paid about half as much for some wired earphones that were worse than the ones that had come with my phone. In comparison, given what you get, these are most definitely worth the price. However, there are some things to be aware of. Yes, again, for the price, they are rather quite good. They’re (mostly) comfortable in the ear, the case is small, easily fitting into most pockets, and the sound quality is actually pretty decent. While I wouldn’t want to rely on them for lengthy listening periods, they’re good on the bus or the train, or on short-haul flights. Thanks to their water-resistant rating, they’re also good if you want to listen to something in the shower, or in a steamy bath. I’m not entirely comfortable with the shower option, even after doing it several times, but if you want to, you certainly can. I am told by my family that they appreciate the lack of music blasting out of my phone in such cases. Unfortunately, they charge via the old micro-USB – a slight inconvenience if you’re hoping to not carry a nest of wires with you. The lid, while held stable when closed by strong enough magnets, doesn’t like staying open – there is no spring in the hinge, or a latch, or anything of the sort – making it not necessarily difficult, but certainly frustrating when taking them out or putting them back in. The earbuds themselves charge automatically when put back into the case, though I’ve found that the connections can sometimes be a bit temperamental. The same can be said for the touch controls; they often mistake double-taps for single-taps, and accidental touches are common when adjusting them or taking them out or putting them in. This part is just a slight niggle on my end, but aside from the standard Bluetooth voice, these earbuds have their own, and it will inform you which is primary/secondary, if you’ve skipped forward/backward a song, etc.. This isn’t a bad idea, given that there’s no tactile feedback for the touch controls, but the voice itself does get annoying quickly. Firstly, it somehow manages to slur its words, seemingly being slowed down for no apparent reason. This, combined with the accent, is pretty unappealing. Secondly, if you’re trying to scrub through songs using the next/previous song controls on the earbuds, it will always – always – start the song, lower the volume of the song, and then say “forward/backward” with a heavy slur. Again, that’s probably something that only annoys me and a minority of other users, but it still factors heavily into my views on these earbuds. Generally, I’d say that, for the price, the positives outweigh the negatives. Yes, the lack of USB-C, the temperamental case – hinge and connectors – and annoying built-in voice are, well, annoying, but you’re getting quite a lot for the price. If you have a bit more money, maybe go for a slightly better alternative, but if you’re interested in getting some water-resistant, fully wireless, inexpensive earbuds, these aren’t a bad choice. 23 people found this helpful

My wired earphones which came with my Samsung phone are just about to give up the ghost so I looked around for some wireless ones because I was fed up with the cable getting snagged while I was doing weights, or by my jacket on my bike. These seemed to fit the bill. The reviews were mostly very positive and considering there are so many reviews, I thought I’d take the plunge. I’ve only used the headphones once – on a 90 minute mountain bike ride on a trail today, and they are great so far! They didn’t dislodge at all, though there are several options to fit each size of ear canal. The packaging is very good and the instructions are clear enough. They paired immediately I took them out of the case and selected TOZO from the list of Bluetooth devices on my phone. If you want to then use them on your tablet, you just need to disconnect from the phone first. The sound is very good and clear, but I’m not much of an audiophile so this is all subjective. I didn’t want to spend a huge amount on something I’ll only use in the gym or on my bike with all the inherent noises that go with those activities. Saying that, with these type of buds, you eliminate a lot of background noise anyway. My phone will be in my pocket when exercising and there was no drop off in Bluetooth signal but if you wander out of a room too far away from your device, it tells you that the signal is gone, but picks it up automatically when you are back in range, no fiddling about required. The controls will take a bit of getting used to, because the surface is so small, especially wearing gloves on my bike, but to pause and play were easy enough. Let’s face it, if you are in the gym, it’s not a problem to use the phone as the controller and if you plan to go out on a bike, you would set the volume before you go. The small charging container (50mm x 50mm & 25mm thick) fits easily into a pocketed isn’t too heavy and is well made. They have a magnetic connection when you return the buds to be recharged after use and they click into place nicely. It is a bit fiddly taking them out of the box though, the buds have a shiny surface but maybe I’ve just got fat fingers! You can receive calls using the controls which worked well in my house, as did the Google assistant or Siri depending on which phone you have. Again, this connected straight away. All in all I am very pleased so far, £39.99 is a snip in my opinion, but as I said, I’ve only had them for one day. Update: I’ve had these buds for a month now, and I’m still as pleased today. I did have an issue with the charging case, the cover to the charging point wouldn’t sit flush to the case so I contacted Tozo. Their customer service was brilliant, answered my message v quickly and sent me a replacement case straight away – which has worked fine. I still don’t think you can go far wrong with these, certainly not at this price. 9 people found this helpful

It’s decent value for the money, but it’s not perfect. It does not handle rigorous activity like running on a treadmill well, with the sound slightly cutting out each stride. Sometimes the audio levels change in one of the ears. I don’t mean proximity to the ear either, the volume level changes going louder or quieter based on how I position it in the ear and I don’t know why. Other than that everything is great, the battery lasts a long time and the charging case works well. The buds stay in the ear and will only ever fall out if you knock them against something physically. The general sound quality of the music is good. 2 people found this helpful
