Excellent camera, you dont need any prior knowledge, easy to connect to phone by onboard WiFi, use force connect in settings if you have any problems. Editing software in app is basic but very good. Check out YouTube for ideas

Highly recommend the insta360 one x Ive had many iterations of GoPros and I have tons of videos that I just never got around to editing and posting. The software on the Insta360 One X is super simple to work with and I can post videos the same day that I took them. I also love having a 360 cam and not worry about framing my shot because it simply captures EVERYTHING and I can worry about framing in the postedit. Having the selfie stick is also a feature that makes people that watch my video scratching their heads and thinking Im using a drone.

So, the camera is great, but some downsides are that it doesnt handle shake very well, it doesnt handle near water not in water, but if you hold it near a body of water everything messes up, and the Insta360 editing software doesnt really work with any other editing software. But its a pretty cool camera, and you can get some really cool photos and videos, just make sure you have a device with good enough qualifications to handle it all. Also, hold the camera steady when you take a picture, itll come out kinda blurry

Awesome little 360 cam. Fairly lightweight and easy to use, the quick capture is a great option to simply push the button and start making videos. Very comparable to the Fusion but a lot more user friendly. Final video product is 1080p and is very clear and sharp. HDR photos look fantastic Battery life is average could be better but doable. Aftermarket batteries work fine and are a good investment, if you use this while traveling and are out all day you will not survive with jsut one battery.

The insta 360 was an instant success Pictures and video are sharp and full coloured and the 360 degree knitting is amazing with at times only a little shimmer. The selfie pole disapeares and the pictures you get give the impression of a well controlled drone shooting 360, I love it.

I own the first 360 and it is a solid performer. I have enjoyed it a great deal the 360x is a significant improvement well worth the upgrade. The exchangeable battery, better camera, upgraded app is awesome. If you will use it. If its just a sometimes camera for you then youd be fine with the original.

this is a good camera that ups the caction cam pov game to another level. Im not so interested in it as for 360 stuff more for use for tradtional video from which you can take multiple angles. It has some really serious flaws though. 1. Lenses scratch easily and cannot be changed 2.It not waterresistantwaterproof. This means you need a case. The case is getting on to be brick sizeweight. This really effects its usablilty, espciallly mounted on a mountain bike. It becomes really hard to keep and shifts around on mounts however hard you tighten. This is exaspereated when using the extention pole Still an amazing product, but its a tough job trying to find the solutions to get the shots I know its cabable of.

So different than any other camera Ive owned. Editing is very different then other camera apps I use. Learning curve to edit is not hard but will take a little to get used to. Amazed at how many ways you can render a file off one video segment. If I was asked how I like this 360 camera Id say ask me a year from now because Im not done learning all it can do yet. Only dislike I have is battery time but I feel the same for my GoPro. Not a professional photographer just a person who likes to take pics and videos so I never have a planned shoot but one video can be seen in so many different angles. Glad I purchased.

It provides many features and high quality imeage pictures. A person may need to watch some tutorial vedios on YouTube or get instructions online before one may be able to use all the features. Manual booklet does not provide complete instructions for all features.

We purchased this for work, and used it on a recent trip. The bundle that came along with the camera was well worth it. The selfie stick collapses and breaks into pieces that easily fit into a mediumsized purse or small bag. There is a tripod at the base of the stick as well. The software automatically erases the stick from the scene, with no extra work needed on your part. The 360 degree videos it produces are amazing, as you are able to pan around the scene while the video is playing and see movement in all directions. The resolution is decent, but its not what you would get with a much more expensive camera. For the price point it is a great value

Its pretty good. Capturing video is fairly easy. Uploading it as a 360 video can be challenging Im still trying to figure out how to do that from an iPhone on vacation, or Ill have to wait to return home to do it from a PC… I bought this to document our family vacation.

Very easy to use, and the results are good. Image quality is fine for action use, but not very good for what I bought it for photographing the interiors of houses. So I sold it on within a couple of weeks of purchasing it, and am now using a DSLR with a fisheye lens, which gives far superior image quality, at the expensive of speed of taking, and speed of processing

OVERALL this is a great camera for its price and purpose. Image quality is very good, the software is easy to use and free, stabilization and other advanced features are amazing.SIZE extra compact, the lenses and focal planes are really close and this results in great portability with superior stitching. I am still to find a fault on video and photo stitching, even with close subjects.SOUND the camera offers 2 microphones for stereo capture, but no audio input. I wonder if a cleverly designed audio cable could be hidden using the invisible monopod, that would be amazing for better audio quality. The sound is ok, worse than a dedicated recording device, but still usable. It would be amazing if we could pair a Bluetooth microphone but thats just me getting greedy and trying to adequate it to my workflow, as I do interviews andBATTERY it is not longlasting with 1200mAh. If I could complain about anything this would be the only concern, it does not last long. But then I looked at the size of the kit and remembered it was to be expected. There is a good solution though since the Insta360 OneX does come with a replaceable battery and that makes it easy to carry some to replace on the go. THat is actually going to be necessary if you plan on doing video or taking many pictures during long periods without recharging.On my experience, I could make it last around 1 hour if using with WiFi constantly on, about 4h if I kept wifi off and used it sparingly and without the phone connected. It charges fast, around 2030 minutes from zero to full with a fast charger.STABILIZATION Whoah I was impressed by the results from the 6axis gyrobased image stabilization, especially comparing with the lame MadVenture and other bad examples Ive had in the past. I recorded smooth videos while walking on very bad terrain. As I moved and inevitably shook it quite good the videos still came buttery smooth. I am impressed and very happy with the results so far, I do think it is just as good as the amazing stabilization from the GoPro7 httpsamzn.to2XvNFFV.STITCHING As I stated before, I have only found minor issues with the automatic stitching. It is very easy to stitch using the phone app, but I do prefer to put the card in a fast card reader and copy to my workstation, this way I have more options and control over the videos. I do not use the app to edit, but it is really simple and intuitive to use and make overcapture videos.EDITING overcapture videos are very easy with the free app. You can also use most nonlinear editing software Final Cut, Premiere to edit natively and that is a game changer for me. No more need to stitch using my phone and then transfer to a messy After Effects workflowENVIRONMENTAL SEAL it is not waterproof, you need a special case to protect it or even dive. That said and on your own risk, it is possible to use it in splashy situations without an issue. Ive recorded videos near a waterfall without issues, I just tried to protect the open USB port and all was good. I take no responsibility if drown your camera, do it at your own risk.DESIGN I found it to be great, functional and even pretty. Materials look and feel good, it is as premium as it should be expected with the price tag. The tiny LCD is a welcome bonus, you can actually get relevant data from it. The simple 2button interface gets the simple tricks done, for anything fancier you should use the app. LEDs keep you aware of what is happening and most important if it is still recordingThe only issue I found with the design is that you cannot replace the microSD card without removing the camera from a tripod. That is not an issue for most people, only for those capturing many hours of interviews and needing to keep the camera without any movement. The easy solution was buying bigger cards, up to 128Gb.

For my first 360 camera, this is a great device. The best part of this camera compared to the competition is the nostitch workflow. The camera does it for you. The image stabilisation is brilliant, better than a GoPro 7, although IS when mounted on a car does not work as well. The computer software has the ability to include or remove the IS data if its playing up anyway. Great integration with Premiere Pro.

The camera itself is very easy to use however making a movie requires more than just brain power. Your computer needs to be able to handle the large file sizes, it has to be powerful and fast enough to be able to process those files AND, if youre going to use the Insta 360 app, your mobile phone also needs to be fairly uptodate to be able to have the app installed in the first place. The image quality is good providing you shoot at 5K, anything of lesser quality and the images feather out in the edges especially if you want to have imagesvideo when zoomed in. The camera is lightweight at only about 125 grams. I havent yet tested it with the various accessories such as water housings, etc, but will do in the next couple of months when I earn enough funds to purchase these. All in all, a good camera, BUT its no substitute for any pro gear that youve been using. It merely is another camera to add to your camera bag for different angles and perspectives of your subjects. If you have 500 to splash out on a new toy such as this, then by all means go for it. BUT, remember, shooting the images is one thing, getting them processed and making a nice film for others to enjoy is another enjoy

I love this thing. It fires up pretty easily. It does go thru battery quickly but it ships with 2 batteries. Im still getting used to making 360 models. The online site for Matterport and this camera provide good resources though for how to ensure best results.

Do not buy if you have an older phone and need Bluetooth connection with your phone. The Android app would not install on my Note 4. Says incompatible. You can still use your PC or Mac with the corresponding software. Also, your phone has to have 5G. The quality isnt so good but passable for casual use. You can have some crazy fun videos with it, just dont expect quality thats better than your lowend smart phone.
