This headset was a great deal Its comfortable and affordable, plus the sound is amazingI use this on the PC and it worked right away. The volume knob on the headset controls Windows volume, not just the headset. Also, pull the mic down before powering it up. It sometimes doesnt mute your mic when you start it with mic up.

Pretty solid, good battery life and sound is okay. Definitely not noise cancelling or anything but if you just want to chat with friends it works great. It is alittle uncomfortable, but not too bad, the light weight makes up for it. Relatively cheap and easy plug and play, good for if you want wireless and dont want to pay a ton.

These headphones are amazing The sound is great and clear, they get loud, noisecanceling when music is playing, basically noisecanceling even when music isnt playing. They are comfortable except after a few hours of constant use they start to hurt your ears but that is like any overear headphones.

Great quality for the price.This pair replaced a broken pair that were the same price, yet with the sound and mic quality you would think itd be double the price in a blind test.The only bits that give it away as a fairly cheap headset are the arm for the mic, it feels a bit brittle, might take a conscious effort to not wear it out, and the volume slider, mines a bit all or nothing, but you can balance it out with in game settings and like I say mine sounds good when in game or music 810

Cons For anyone considering these headphones I would strongly recommend that you consider paying a little more for the HyperX Cloud Stinger headphones not Core, as it is easy to get these mixed up. These feel really cheap in comparison, the extra 5.00 in cost makes a huge difference in quality and comfort.

They are very comfortable too, not too tight on the head and the steel head band meanst that you could bend them out a bit if you have a relly big head. The only thing I dont like about them, and im nitpicking here, but the only gripe I have with them is that I would prefer one wire rather than a wire on both sides, because I get them tangled sometimes. But this minor inconvenience pales into insignificance when you consider the sound quality So yes I would definitely recomend them 100

Microphones are excellent. The only downside of this headphones is that the microphone is very sensitive. It picks up on my breathing, and i am not a heavy breather. It also picks up on my ceiling fan. Overall, the sound, the fit is great.

That means you cannot hear yourself through the headset at all and you sound completely muffled to yourself. It makes it difficult to speak clearly and not be too loud.The audio lacks layer. The best way to describe it is the audio is just coming from 1 direction going directly into your ears. Its very muddy and cluttered sounding. It lacks depth and doesnt give you much in the highs and mids.The volume doesnt go very high. At max volume on my console and the headset, I was disappointed thats the highest I could go. Combined with the muddiness of the sound quality, I could not hear footsteps clearly at all.Overall summary I would only recommend this headset to kids under age 13 as their first headset. Simply because its very durable, lightweight, inexpensive, and kids just arent that picky when it comes to sound and mic quality.I absolutely would not get this for anyone that has had a nice pair of headphones already, because it would absolutely feel like a downgrade.This headset should only be a backup pair until you can get better ones, at best.Thanks for reading this harsh but honest review, hope I helpedAlso to clarify, I ended up returning this product after a week.

The headset is OK but not as good as I expected. Ive found that it does not pick up dictated words as well as I expected. Since buying the headset, Ive done more research and discovered that headsets with more sensitivity hope that is the correct term are better at speech recognition. The salesperson was in a rush and never explained the differences in various headsets just picked this one off the self and handed it to me.

Its been several months since I purchased these. The sound quality is decent. They do block out most noise and the sound does not bleed from the devices. The mic is super clear. Between the audio and mic, the mic is probably superior which isnt as important for me, but since Im on Zoom calls a lot and gaming, its nice to have some clear audio on my end. These were super cheap and definitely worth the gamble. Im sure some audiophile would prefer something like Bose, but for just basic use that doesnt have annoying crackling or painful headphones, these are great.

If you want a first headset but want to spend that little extra to get that little extra quality, comfort and sound then you cant get any better than this HyperX headset. Very comfy to wear and both feels and sounds like a headset of twice the value. Great as an upgrade to the entry level Turtle Beach sets or as a mid price first headset. Highly recommended.

When those headsets got destroyed by my dogs, I wanted to get something a little bit better. Using these with my ps4, I can sense the stereo producing 3d effects in my games. Extremely comfortable. Played a game for 5 hours with zero discomfort whatsoever. The audio is full range from 20Hz so you hear the lowest bass, right up to 20khz to hear every click, whizz, snap and pop. I had a non branded pair before getting these, and the difference was like night and day. Also, Im an audio engineer, so I highly recommend these. The price is perfect.

Pretty impressed with this. So impressed in fact, that I bought another for one of my kids. They originally used it one their Xboxs but found it great on their Switches as well. When I say it holds up well to abuse, it does well against my kids falling asleep with it on and rolling on it over and over throughout the night. Cant count the number of times Ive seen them run around the house with it on with the cable snagging on random furniture and no rips or tears in the cable. This is my first headset. I started with some decent earbuds but my friends online can now hear me crystal clear and the sound is adequately balanced from lowhigh. Theyre plastic but they feel rather sturdy and not extremely light compared to others that I tried on. Plus, they look pretty cool. I would definitely recommend this set

First these headphones are comfortable. After a couple hours of use, no issues or problems. The sound is crystal clear and the volume is easy to control. No issues with connecting to the controller either. I havent really used to to talk while playing but I can hear the game and the other players with clarity. These are really good if you just wanna zone out and be into whatever youre listening to. You wont be able to hear a knock at your door nor anybody talking to you a safe social distance away without them shouting and that is true for when you are listening to your program and semitrue when youre simply wearing them without listening to anything. The mic breaks and the end of the cord where it plugs into the Xbox bends and breaks as well.Many time we have used the help website to fix the audio and the mic, usually to no avail. In a nutshell, for 40 I dont think you can get better. I play games like Squad, Post Scriptum, and Warzone, and this headset handles all the explosions and gunshots perfectly. The build quality is a little light, but that should be expected at this price point. Im just really happy with the sound quality.

I recently purchased 2 gaming headsets by 2 different brands. One set was for the Xbox and one was for the playstation 4. The playstation 4 headset started making a crackling sound within 5 days of use. I had to replace it.Thus far, the HyperX CloudX stinger core headset for the X box is working perfectly fine. There is no static or any problems with the mic or speakers etc. I would recommend this headset.

Decent headset for the price. The fabric is kind of scratchy and whatever you are listening to can be heard by the person next to you. Also they dont cancel sounds completely, but do a decent job. If you dont have lots of money but need something for zoom calls, these will do the trick. If I had more money I would get a more expensive set.

Very lightweight and comfortable. I wish that the mic turned off when you flipped it up instead of the manual switch but the mic is very flexible and functional. No background sounds come through unless its a few inches away from the mic. Headset is a little tight even though I have a narrow head so if you have a more round head, go with something more adjustable.

I have to turn the nob to a perfect spot so I can hear from both sides. Only reason this headset got 2 stars instead of 1 is because it does its job, even though its an awful one.

I own an Acer Nitro 5 PC and I have a hybrid headset headphone jack port that accepts headphone jacks that act as input and output devices. I plugged it directly into the headphone jack port and opened my sound settings on my computer and I found that there were no additional input or output devices added into my computer. I tested out a few things such as calling my friends and testing it with the sound settings menu, but the input just wouldnt work. It even worked on my phone. The output still worked and it was rather quiet even with a lot of things turned up but the quality was okay. I eventually took a headphone jack USB cable adapter and plugged it into my computer and it instantly recognized it on my computer and worked fine. The same issue with the audio, but the input was great and my friend said it sounded amazing. I have a really loud AC unit in my room and he couldnt hear it at all.Next, the headphones feel rather small and uncomfortable on my ears, like theyre pushing down way too hard on my ears. I tried adjusting it, but I have it almost as big as it will go. Still doesnt feel great.

So, unless you have a combined sound port, you will have to buy an audio splitter to be able to use the microphone. Indeed, the box that the headset comes in advertises it for being a Xbox headset.Also the cable is quite short to use on a desktop.I have used the headset on my phone without any issues, but if you are using on a desktop PC, I would look at other products instead.

Nice, low cost gaming headset. Sounds great, provides stereo sounds, etc., as expected. Plugs directly into the 3.5 jack on my Xbox One controller and works with no hassle. Mic seems to work just fine as well, and flips up out of the way when not in use. The inline volume control is fine as well not as handy as the more highend headsets that include a controller adapter, but also much cheaper so it evens out in my mind.

I picked up this headset as a temporary holdover until I could get a newer more expensive headset. The Cloudx Stinger Core will work in a pinch, has good sound but comfort is nonexistent. As soon as I put these on I disliked the fit. They feel like they were made for kid sized heads. They sound fine but the microphone is lacking. I would recommend spending 3050 bucks more for the Cloudx or Cloud Alpha headsets which are way more comfortable and have a detachable noise canceling microphone.

Worth the buy, its surprisingly light weight so it causes no discomfort, has good low end for footsteps, which a lot of headsets seem to lack. Only issue I encountered was I had to turn up the microphone sensitivity because it made me quiet for other people, but other than that its good value for money, dont have to charge it that often, as it says it has approx 17 hours of charge so Ill usually charge it once a day, doesnt take long to charge, even 10 minutes of charge lasts about 3 hours

I looked up headsets with good mics when looking for a headset and this was one of the headsets that came up, which makes sense because the mic is the worst part of this, it would not stop brodcasting my desktop output audio as mic input audio, i tryed restarting my computer, updating drivers, completely uninstalling and reinstalling drivers and abunch of other stuff. I tried contacting Hyper X support and all they said in their reply was to try things that i said in my first email i already tried. Then yesterday It randomly started working properly without me doing anything, then randomly today it started not working at all without me doing anything. Now all it does is output electricy static noises and doesnt pic up me saying anything at all.

I got them on a whim, wanting to upgrade my online gaming experience mostly Fortnite beyond using a cheap pair of inear earbuds but not being willing to spend that much. These have outperformed their price and place in the market by leaps and bounds.Ive been doing lots of research and testing lately of high end, highest reviewed gaming headsets things like the Arctis 7, Corsair Virtuoso, and the HyperX Alpha. While there are certainly some tradeoffs wired vs wireless for example, I have returned all of those because these remain my favorite, despite being 7x cheaper.Comfort First and foremost these are the most comfortable headset Ive ever tried. They are the perfect balance of lightweight but secure on my head. I dont even notice they are there, but they arent so light that if I move my head they shift or fall off. They dont move an inch. The foam earcups are perfect, and the foam on top is equally comfortable. My ears dont get hot or sweaty at all, and I dont feel any sort of headphone fatigue even after multiple hours of gaming. Comfort is the most subjective aspect of a headset, so of course this will vary by user. But I doubt youll find a more comfortable set than these.Sound I think of myself as being a very particular person. Maybe Im not as astute as I thought, though, because as far as the sound goes these are just as good as any other I tried. They dont offer the ability to tinker with the sound settings like the Arctis or Virtuoso, but out of the box this was just as good as any of those.Mic Watching game replays and hearing myself, the mic isnt exactly professional broadcast quality, but it isnt bad at all. In fact, I used this headset to record a voiceover for a video project and it sounds great considering I have basically no experience with that sort of thing.Build This is definitely the worst aspect of the headset, but its still not a bad. The headset is all plastic, and feels cheap. On the other hand, this helps contribute to it being lightweight. Ive used these almost every day since I bought them over a year ago, and they are just as good as the day I got them. If they were used by kids who were careless or rough with them, they might not hold up. But for anyone who will treat them with appropriate care, they will hold up for sure.

Very nice gaming head phones. Only issueni have is that not all USB C chargers work with it, mainly the super fast chargers. But ither than that i have no complaints.

The audio quality is a tad lacking. I also found that I struggled with volume control, the dial on the audio cord doesnt allow for a very large range of sound. I did one small scroll and it went from a 0 to a 4 in loudness, so you better hope whatever it is connected to can have its volume manually changed.

I like my new PlayStation HyperX Cloud Stinger Core Wireless gaming head phones. I love the convenient audio buttons as well as the easy adjustable sides. Clear, crisp sound and has the easy mute feature. Pretty comfortable to wear. I do feel the quality is good for the price and works on PlayStation 4.

I heard great things about this headset and the reviews are great so I figured Id buy it. I dont care to have a wireless headset, especially if Ive got my controller in my lap rightI bought a pair of these back in March 2020, and I loved them right away. They are comfortable and they sound great. Even the mic quality is great, which is nice considering the low price. I can hear every detail in a game, the directional sound is great. Games like COD where footsteps are crucial, it works great.HOWEVER, back in October 2020 the right side of the headset began to fade out. It got really obnoxious and really irritated me, but I luckily bought the 2 year warranty, so I went in and exchanged them. Its now March 2021 and the SAME right ear piece is starting to fade. For some reason, when I adjust the sound dial it cuts back in but Im going to have to get it replaced once again. Its really disappointing considering how great of a headset it really is. Im just unsure if its just an unfortunate bad batch or if the headsets just arent that great. I mean, I take really good care of my headset so what are the odds

Bought this headset for my father, Ive been a big HyperX fan since I got my Cloud 2 headphones. Plugged it in for him and adjusted the mic gain and he was good to talk in Discord with everyone. The mic is clear and the sound quality is great. Thank you HyperX

There was nothing wrong with this headset, but I returned them. They were too tight. I had a wired headset for Xbox and recently switched to PlayStation. Turns out the wired Xbox headset works for PlayStation as well. My 70 wired HyperX metal headset was built way more solid this this cheaply plastic tight fitted headset. Also my old headset had leather memory foam and this wireless had cloth. Overall you pay more for wireless to not have to hassle with the wire but get a cheaper feeling headset. The sound quality was still great but I would rather feel comfortable for longer game sessions. Hope this helps…

I got it 2 days ago and I tried it on PS4 and the audio is fine, however, the mic is really quiet. When in a party people could barely hear me I had to put the mic close to my mouth for people to hear me. I wouldnt recommend if uses this headset for the mic
