I purchased this after my Turtle Beach Impact 500 with Cherry MX Blue switches died on me, this keyboard is fantastic for the price you pay. Despite not having individually lit keys this thing is still very premium and the keys feel great D
Cody –
Works great 99.9 of the time but random keys will become unresponsive requiring the keyboard to be reset.
Ricardo E –
Was looking to replace a keyboard and got this one so far its been a great keyboard and being small makes it even better. Couldnt have asked for something better than this.
kesnat0 –
It is compact and easy to carry around. The cherry MX switches are awesome and it is a very sturdy keyboard. Overall, a great deal for the price at which it is offered.
diwata –
This keyboard is great It is super sturdy and does not flex at all. The red switches feel great and are satisfying. The back lights work great and show clearly while gaming in the dark. I also really like the braided cable that comes with it. Feels very high quality. Would definitely recommend this to someone.
Jett Y. –
HyperX Alloy FPS Pro gaming keyboard is smooth, easy to get used to and very nice and mechanical how it should beLove it
TuscanL –
Great keyboard for its price category, and I love how its tenkeyless. Its very heavy and a good option for those who dont want RGB.
knaveman3 –
This key board is as advertised. Pros Compact, cool lights at a good price. Cons long stroke and sounds klacky. But a great buy over all.
Big Z –
Have had this for 2 months and its great. The Cherry red switches have a great feel and arent loud at all.
JN527 –
This is my first mechanical keyboard. When I was looking for a mechanical keyboard I wanted it to be Cherry MX Reds as the Cherry MX switches are the switches I kept seeing as the superior switches to go. I wanted red switches as I didnt want there to be as much clicky sounds so I didnt want blues. Only thing I wish this had was RGB instead of just red lights but it worked out in the end. I turn my theme into a black and red theme. I am really happy to have gone with this for my first keyboard.
Angel G –
Unfortunately, I no longer use this keyboard as my work keyboard since I was able to put together a more compact one. However, I would still recommend this keyboard due to how portable it is considering its full 104key layout.
Jack –
The build quality on the Alloy FPS Pro is exceptional, well above that of other gaming keyboards I have owned previously, HyperX have really outdone themselves on this one I highly recommend TKL keyboards for anyone who plays a lot of games and either lacks desk space or wants more room for their mouse especially useful if you play a lot of FPS games casually or competitively The MX red switches are infamous and of course are of high quality. The only potential downside is that this keyboard has red backlighting, it is not RGB this might affect people who are RGB fans or if the colour doesnt match their setup but this is not something that bothers me and only takes away from aesthetics Definitely, recommend this keyboard
Anonymous –
Its a good keyboard for the price but the keys are really sensitive and plastic, which takes some time to get used to.
Anonymous –
After using an extremely old keyboard for all of my time gaming, I Certainly didnt expect it to be such a wonderful change. Its Ben nothing but stellar during the time Ive used it
pinestatevariety0412 –
Son absolutely loves this keyboard Got it earlier than expected Thank you
Anonymous –
This keyboard is compact and fairly cheap in comparison, and the Cherry Red switches have a satisfying click to them. The programmable backlighting is a nice touch despite Red being the only option. One thing that knocks it down a peg is an issue Ive seen others online struggling with randomly nonfunctional keys. In the middle of a game, a key Ive been using may just stop working altogether, forcing me to unplug and plug it back in as the only solution Ive found thus far.
Anonymous –
This is the perfect keyboard for people who type all day because of the lovely cherry mx blues but it is also perfect for the occasional gaming session as it has awesome red leds. Definately recomend.
EmaciatedEwok –
Awesome keyboard. Excellent response and has improved my gaming with being a minimal keyboard. Plus its got clicky keys.
Manan M. –
Great keyboard for its price. Excellent build quality, a bit heavier than expected but that doesnt really affect portability as it is a tkl keyboard. It also comes with standard keycaps so you can replace them with any of your own. It doesnt come with rgb though but that doesnt make a difference personally.
BigBensChin –
This keyboard is great. Its a solid build that feels heavy in your hand and the keys are incredibly satisfying to click.
Leo L. –
Good mechanical keyboard. It doesnt come with fancy features, but its enough for basic usage.
J. Jacobs –
This keyboard does not have RGB, it does not have dedicated volume and playback controls it does have them with fn key it does not have a wrist pad. It does have an extremely solid stiff build quality, if sounds and feels outstanding, its has a sleek compact design and just enough features that its not completely bare bones but offers outstanding value with no gimmicks.
Mason J. –
I would highly recommend this keyboard to anyone who likes red.
Slattery D –
Picked this after a recommendation from a friend. Love the lowprofile metal case, very sturdy feel. I was hesitant to get red switches since I write code all day but Ive actually loved the feel of them.
NorthStarCoder –
Ive been using this keyboard for a few days now, and I have to say, I love it To give some context to this review, I am not an FPS PRO. In fact, I have not played a single game with this keyboard yet. However, I am a software developer, and have written quite a bit of code with this keyboard so far.Pros1. NO FIRMWARE This was a huge selling point for me as I run a Windows PC for work, and run Ubuntu for my personal computer. Setup could not be easier2. FEEL The Cherry MX Reds are perfection in my humble opinion, but to each their own Also, this keyboard feels well put together. It does not feel cheap metal was used. If I ever have issues in the future, Ill be sure to update this review.3. LOOK The built in effects are awesome. I have tried a few of the modes, and I really like them. If you so desire, you can setup a custom mode as well where you select which keys you would like illuminated. Again, all this with no softwareCons1. NO WRIST SUPPORT First thing I bought was a wrist support. Im a developer by trade, so I do not skimp on comfort when typing. I could see without a wrist support that typing on this for a long time could get tiresome. I got a basic IMAK wrist cushion, and it fits the length of the keyboard perfectly. In Conclusion, if you are looking for a great entry mechanical keyboard that will not break the bank, this is your pick. I am perfectly satisfied with my purchase, and would definitely have paid more for this keyboard.
Dave F –
The red switches make for a much quieter keyboard than other mechanical boards, so you can get away with using it at work. Thats what I do. Its not as quiet as a membrane keyboard, because there is a metal plate in there, but gives better feedback than membrane boards while not being super loud. Its satisfying to type on and has a quality feel.Ive had this board almost two years and I like it. Id rather have one that wasnt backlit if I had a choice, but thats a minor quibble. It does what I need it to do, and while its not cheap, the price wasnt outrageous either.

This is my first mechanical keyboard and I have to say this is a very nice keyboard My experience so far with this product has been phenomenal, the cherry mx blue switches are great From the effects to the compact size I recommend this to anyone who are looking for an really good mechanical keyboard.
Andrew –
The build of this keyboard is top quality. Been using this keyboard with mx blue switches for around a few weeks and I love it, highly recommend
SuperJabb –
I got this keyboard for my first legit gaming PC and its been great so far. Love the sound it makes when I type or play a game and its over all extremely smooth. Another plus for me was not having the number pad and the keyboard being on the smaller side. For me, having a bigger keyboard and having my hands further away from each other ends up hurting my back. This keyboard is the perfect size for me and Im loving it so far. Im nowhere near being an expert, but from the limited knowledge I have, Im definitely satisfied with it.
Nirol –
I love the keyboard, the only issue was the shipping, it delay over a month.
Scott H. –
I would recommend to anyone office or gaming as long as you dont rely on the keypad but these days you can even just buy that so yes this is a 10 out of 10 product

The cherry Mx blue version I got has a clicky key stroke I was looking for and doesnt have the number pad which gives me more mouse space on my desk. Its nice and heavy and the faceplate under the keys is solid metal. Quality keyboard and a good choice for a mechanical keyboard. Has red backlit keys that you can change a few effects of and brightness, as well as a game mode that disables the windows key, which I have pressed all too many times on other keyboards.
SndTmp –
Bought this because my previous keyboard was taking up too much space. This definitely is compact enough to easily move around and adjust to my gaming needs. I usually tilt it when playing fps to allow my fingers to move around the keyboard more quickly. This is actually my first mechanical keyboard so i was kinda surprised by how heavy it was. It definitely feels like a quality product. Its also really easy to clean contrary to normal keyboards. Easily switch between lighting modes with the functionarrow keys is actually really cool.Overall I really have no regrets with this buy. Genuinely happy with this purchase. I only wish this had rgb, not just red. Or maybe it does and I just didnt look hard enough. But still glad with this buy.

Finding an affordable keyboard with true Cherry MX Red switches is a challenge. This keyboard, at around 80, isnt cheap but its definitely worth the premium. The build quality is durable and solid, and the key layout is standard with nothing to complain about. It has no number pad, which isnt an issue for my use case. The red backlighting is a little gamery but I enjoy it nonetheless for being even and unobtrusive. Finally, the keyboard was plugandplay with no setup or software required, which was fantastic and convenient.Overall I think this keyboard is a great investment for someone looking to upgrade their typing experience for a small premium.
JeffT231 –
Its a fun little keyboard for the price and worth getting if you cant afford the next model up.

For anyone who wants to start using mechanical keyboards. This could be your start. HyperX is well known for quality products and this is no exception. It has a sturdy aluminum frame and looks clean with its nongamery font, and the red back light is a nice addition. It has a detachable cable for easy portability. One complaint that I have is the limited switch availability. It only comes in Cherry MX Reds or Blues. Even though I have become adjusted to blues after using this keyboard, i wish there was more options. But with all the pros, ill give it a pass.Overall, a TKL keyboard with Cherry switches under 80 dollars is pretty nice. And the fact it looks clean and works right out of the box makes this keyboard very hard to not buy.
dav3f4nning –
From using several different TKL format keyboards these cherry MX reds and build quality is by far the nicest ive used. This keyboard is a true pleasure to game on and type on.
Sri Prithvi Samrat S –
the keyboard is light weight and very comfortable. It misses the numpad and the rgb if you are not into those then this the best option
Masanobu Oe –
My son selected this keyboard. It key sounds little bit loud my wife said…

I believe that this is the best mechanical keyboard at this price point. I would recommend this for home use for users who like a nice keyboard and dont want to spend a fortune on it. I would not recommend it for office use unless you wanna feel the warm of a mug hitting the back of your head.
CR2500 –
This keyboard first caught my attention by how sleek it looked and how clean the backlighting was. If you dont care for RGB features, then youll appreciate this one The keycap lettering transparency is completely consistent whereas Ive seen keyboards twice the price that have a few keycaps in which the backlighting doesnt fully shine through the letters. Also, there is much less reflection of the LEDS onto the plate underneath, so that the keys are welllit without having to make the whole keyboard glow. Maybe some people prefer the latter, but for me the contrast between the letters being bright red and everything else being very dark not only looks better but also makes the keys much easier to read. The sole downside of this keyboard is that it still connects using the outdated microUSB type B plug instead of USB type C.
Ellie2 –
Im not a keyboard snob, this is my first mechanical keyboard, but I couldnt be happier. I like the compact design which fits on my small desk and leaves room for a big mousepad. It feels great under my fingers, all the keys move nicely, and the light effects are fun to play with though I settled on the solid backlight. Its really affordable but does not feel cheap at all. The keys are fairly loud, according to my roommate they can be heard from the next room but its not loud enough to be annoying.
Anon –
Keyboard clicks good but I found a few issues with it, might just be my copy but its worth mentioning, the keys often straight up dont work and I need to unplug and replay everytime it happens, theres also a limited number of keys that will functions when you press it, which is a huge deal when youre playing games with a lot of key gold and presses.
Max K. –
I bought this keyboard to have a smaller footprint on my desk while still having all the function of a great gaming keyboard, and I am not disappointed. The frame is rigid and solid metal, the keys are comfortable to use, and the switches are of the same great quality you expect from Cherry. The detachable, braided cable is great, and havent ever come out on its own. The lighting profiles, while there arent many, are enough to satisfy me and the majority of users. I have no complaints about this keyboard. It is great.
Spyware89 –
The blue switches give me way more feedback than red switches. Got the red dampener rings to go with it, and they help reduce the noise without making it silent or mushy. Most importantly though, this keyboard does not require any drivers or software to use any of the features. The lighting control is hardware based, same with the feature to disable the windows key. I dual boot between linux and windows a lot, so this is perfect.Other design feature I like is that there is no plastic rim surrounding the keys or anything, so to clean dust from it, just stick the dust off tube along the bottom and blow and everything comes right out.
dragon2knight –
Unfortunately besides that this is a fairly underwhelming keyboard. The LEDs are a bit annoying even at their lowest brightness and the keys tend to double tap sometimes whilst typing fast. But under most circumstances its a perfectly serviceable keyboard. For the money it is hard to beat.
Arthur M. –
Look this keyboard is probably worthy of 5 eggs, but not the one I got. If it takes me multiple times to hit a key to make it work that is really BAD.
Brandon84 –
This keyboard performs admirably. I have had no issues at all, in fact its been an absolute pleasure. Normally I have a cheap logitech board with a built in trackpad that I use when I travel but after using this keyboard and the HyperX Pulsefire FPS Pro mouse I cant help but take both with me. They are worth the bit of extra weight and very slight size difference, not because of any failing by the logitech keyboard but for the simple joy of using these HyperX products. Highly recommended.
d0bbins –
I love this keyboard, even thought there was a little turbulence in the packaging process it was well worth the wait.
JothamR –
I was a bit skeptical when I first unboxed it. Was one of the only mechanical tenless keyboards I could see in stock during the lockdown. The lack of bezel around the edge was weird at first, but I really like it now, as stuff doesnt build up under the keys. The base being a slab of metal alloy is also nice, its got a good weight. The switches are great. I had to superglue the rubber feet pads because the adhesive they came with didnt last very long, but thats common in many keyboards. Recommended.
LookAtThis –
Bought this for my son. I was pleased with the feel and the RGB features. He loves it.
Aaron W. –
Bought this as an upgrade from my builtin laptop keyboard, and wow has it been amazing. I went with the Cherry MX Red switches and have loved the mechanical keyboard experience. I chose this keyboard because it was compact with a very clean design, and it didnt require any additional software on my computer. Other than this keyboard, I have all Logitech accessories and I didnt want any more gaming software other than the Logitech gaming software on my PC. I like that I can adjust all the lighting effects and other features on the keyboard directly with the keyboard without using my PC at all. The backlighting looks great and is very bright at the highest setting. The brightness is adjustable on a scale of 04. I usually keep it at 2. As someone who had never used a mechanical keyboard before, the experience has been amazing. I went with the Cherry MX Red switches for their linear characteristics and light activation force and it was a very easy transition from a laptop keyboard. Typing feels and sounds so good and gaming is better than ever. I love the layout of this keyboard. Overall, would definitely recommend. The only thing I would warn you about is to make sure you dont actually want the numpadtenkeys. I bought the smaller tenkeyless version and returned it within a week because I missed my numpad too much. Other than that, I have no complaints with this keyboard and hope to use it for years to come.

Ive had this keyboard nearly 2 years and it still feels like I just got it. I do regularly maintain my gaming set up making sure not clean any dust and to never eat at my desk. That being said, if you take care of this keyboard it is well worth it. The sleek metal design and the red lights give it an aggressive look. The price is extremely fair for the quality that you get. Hyperx also makes replaceable key caps in on there colors if you decided you wanted to swap keys out and give it a personal touch. Overall this keyboard is a solid purchase and I recommend it.
Kingzani –
I recently had a bigger sized keyboard but I grabbed a hyper alloy FPS, and wow I would not change back I love how the keys feel and how the ratio fits perfectly to my hand. Definitely would recommend if someone doesnt want a huge keyboard on their desk. I use it to play FPS games and its more than I expected tbh.
Anonymous –
This is a nice keyboard, until it doesnt work. Keys just started messing up and I had to return it. I also had a friend who had the same problem, so it might not be an isolated issue of mine.
Alex –
Smooth. Good quality for the money. I am very happy with it so far.
Jaden D –
This keyboard is just overall one of the best 60 keyboards on the market. The Cherry mx switches sound and feel great. 70 dollars for this keyboard is a true steal and shows the brand quality of hyperx.
patricdia86 –
didnt know what to expect from such a low priced mechanical keyboard. switches are consistent and have just the right amount of resistance. typing for long periods of time had felt really nice. the keystrokes honestly feel like asmr to me
kherna420 –
This tenkeyless mechanical keyboard is great for gaming. It doesnt take up much room while still providing the great performance of a mechanical keyboard with genuine cherry switches. I can press more keys at once with them all registering compared to my old keyboard. My only complaint is that it doesnt come in RGB.
Anonymous –
sad because i spilled my coffee on it at least 3 times, waiting that it dried completely and worked as well as before but the platic of the button is so thin that it break too much easily for sure i will choose another option next time
kmshill –
Great keyboard for the price. This keyboard is small, but handles well and doesnt have a bunch of extra keys that arent necessary for gaming. Love the colors and would definitely recommend to purchase.
robborapter1994 –
One of the best mechanical cherry mx red keyboards for its price. Small design, heavy metal back plate, detachable braided cable, a very solid keyboard.
stvath –
My grandson loves the feel and responsiveness of the keyswitches . He also like the steel frame as it makes the keyboard solid and steady.
VinPhx –
heavy durable keyboard really happy with the quality and response of this keyboard for gaming.
Martin –
Pros Action of keys.Compact ergonomics.Robust chassis built.Cons Not many set up frills for those who like fiddling with settings.
Toxi –
I bought this 5 months ago and the LEDs still look new, which my Razer Blackwidow Chroma didnt do. The gets also still work like I first bought them, my Razer keyboard has 3 dead switches one of which was DOA. The keyboard is really nice to type on and feels like it has a really good build quality. It is easy to bring with me to my friends houses and back. The cord still looks new even though it has been moved around a lot and rubbed on different desks a ton.
Samuel K. –
Thing is nice the solid metal base is a cool feature, as are the holes in it for LEDs. I like the design, it works well. The USB plug design is also thoughtful it seems like it wouldnt break like others have on me.

I waited a long time before I finally took the plunge and bought the keyboard I wanted. I thought the Cherry RED would be too stiff, and always thought I should get a Cherry BROWN based board. I was using a Logitech lent from a friend with BROWN, and it was OK, but took up about 3 times the space on my desk, and the symbols were almost impossible to read. Then this board came on sale, and it looked good. The RED are great, the board is great, my desk has space again. And CTRL is on the very bottom left where it is supposed to be, so my pinky can find my hands way home.
crosswalk –
Keyboard is built solid with a hard plastic case on the bottom and steel plate on the front. Red switches feel very comfortable to game on, especially after playing with an arcade stick I have that uses Reds for the arrow keys instead of a joystick. Branding, size, and location of function keys is a little more subtle compared to similar keyboards, mainly the Corsair K63. No additional buttons for media function keys are controlled by the function modifier and associate function keys at the top and the branding is location on the space bar. Lighting settings are interesting and fun, my favorite being the setting that highlights keys for a brief second after theyre pressed. Overall a nice purchase for the price.
Brett M. –
Definitely not cheap. You can get a backlit mechanical keyboard for less than half the price on other websites, but it will be nowhere near the same quality. If you have the cash and you want a very solidly constructed keyboard, then this is your product
Zack H. –
I replaced a Razer BlackWidow as it started to feel chunky. This keyboard is significantly less noisy per key press which may be because it is Cherry MX Red than the BlackWidow keyboard.
Junior P –
Excellent product. Highly recommend it for anyone who is into gaming and doesnt mind not having the number pad on the side. Although it is a minor detail, the clicking noise of the keyboard is also very satisfying and I know that is also a determining factor for anyone looking for a gaming keyboard.
Sati –
Pros Very well made no nonsense mechanical keyboard. For something so small its surprisingly heavy and feels very solid. The rubber feet on the bottom stick to the desk like glue. Feels great to use and type onTheres no need for installing drivers etc its just plug and play.Cons Only red lighting and limited customisation of lights.
ITToXiCACID –
This is an amazing keyboard for the price i play xbox keyboard and mouse and this keyboard made me at least 2times better.ps might not make you better. play with me on xbox my name is my nickname

Great quality product with Cherry MX Blues. After some research and a large helping of assistance from Hoss at the Hamilton store, this quickly became the best choice in the price bracket.
Philippe V. –
Would recommend this keyboard for someone looking for a small and responsive keyboard for gaming, also be aware that it is VERY loud
Alexander L. –
This is a great keyboard, I had it for well over a year.
Daniel S. –
Finally I have found the perfect Keyboard, quality is amazing has a really solid heavy metal frame, keys feel and sound awesome a nice thin and flexible braided cable.
Techdude82 –
This is the perfect plug n go keyboard with a sturdy steel design, satisfying key response, and compact form to save on desk space and to travel with. Im normally a Razer guy but at the time I was looking the BlackWidow X Tournament Edition Chroma keyboard was twice as much as this HyperX and aside from a few features I dont even use, the RGB is the only major difference between the two. Seriously if you dont mind red backlighting and you just want a simple tenkeyless keyboard then this is the one to get in my humble opinion Save a few bones and use it elsewhere in your system.
batanaso –
Small and compact but I feel like the buttons are way to close to each other and it feels like the overall height does not allow for smooth gaming, often times causing me to loose feel of what buttons I am pressing. I constantly have to loose time looking down the keyboard and adjusting.
bettercallpapo8 –
pretty good for gaming, one of the best keyboards out right now.
blindd774 –
Just like the title, good price and great mechanical keyboard.
Jonathan L –
I wanted to try a 10 Keyless keyboard because I have gotten much more into shooters and this keyboard fit my budget well. The cherry switches are standard experience, which is a good thing. This is a value board so there is no macros or app control, which is fine, it is a value board after all. The board is laid out in such a way that there are less crevices for dirt to hide in which is a win. I cannot wait to buy custom keycaps for this.
jdavis739 –
I really like this keyboard but I do wish they keys were a little less sensitive, the keys will register my fingers lightly resting on the keys
longdoann –
This keyboard is not compatible with PS4. I must buy another keyboard. But it works really well with my laptop
Anonymous –
if you have small to medium hands this keyboard is amazing built strong and looks great
Nexifly –
So glad I ended up getting this over other competitors. Feels great playing cs and apex
baconbirgir –
Keyboard works great, wish there was a brown switch version but reds are ok. The front plate is aluminum so it has a pretty nice feel and weight. The only thing I dont like at all is that the usb connection is on the right side of the board.
MUGI –
I bought this keyboard on sale for around 50 during blackfirday. 50 for cherry switches was a no brainer. Being a budget option, the keybord has some caveats. Its has no rgb which is fine if you do not mind the red and its key stabalization is a bit iffy when it comes to my unit tho it is far from unusable. Getting real cherry switches at this price is a steal and i would recomend it for anyone who is on a budget.
Anonymous –
This is my first mechanical keyboard. Before this keyboard I have been using cheap keyboard from HP and Microsoft. The typing feels smooth and easy. Pressing the key does not require much effort, and it takes lesser effort compared with some laptop keyboards. I would recommend this keyboard to someone who has never used mechanical keyboard to get started.
Creakingninja –
Good, responsive mechanical keyboard that wont break the bank. Not too noisy either. Only downside is that you cannot change the lighting color. Red only.
David168 –
The product has great features and works well. Easy to program keys.
adityakarumanchi –
Very affordable yet very good mech. keyboard. I also have a Corsair Strafe nonRGB version with Cherry MX Red, and compared to that one, the HyperXs keys felt stiffer to press, but thats not a criticism, just a different tactile feeling I get. On the other hand, the Corsairs keys are more rubberized to touch, whereas the HyperXs keys feel smoother, so I feel like the HyperXs keys will pick up less dirt and oils from my fingers. The HyperX has more keylighting options, and some are very trippy Overall, Im happy with both keyboards, and Id say if you want the numpad, the Strafe is a nice affordable option, and if you want a compact one, the HyperX is a great choice.
Anonymous –
Would for sure recommend this product to someone who needs a decent midrange keyboard.
Antony74 –
I ve used lots of mechanical Keyboards so far..So i think i found my favorite..Its amazing in all aspects.Simple, beautiful, fast response times. Now the issue is one and its about the longevity,,Lets see how long this baby will be in shape..
RoHo –
Switched from a Razer Blackwidow Tournament chroma clicky. This keyboard feels great. Solid build quality.
Provokers –
Slightly smaller than expected but overall a great keyboard. Nkey roll over works exceptionally well while gaming and provides less frustration of trying to get difficult combos in.
