I’ve been holding off doing this review as these earbuds are quite expensive and I want to give them a good go before I post one. These little beauties come in fully recycled an recyclable packaging, the package contains three extra sets of rubber buds to cover all sizes and a thick manual that will probably never get read. Also the case for the buds that weighs quite a bit adding to the feel of quality. The two buds are good to hold and fit in the ear very comfortably. I would like to point out before I continue I hate wearing earbuds. I find them annoying, uncomfortable and can never seem to get a good sound from them. I usually plump for full over ear headphones even though they are bulky and take up a great deal of space when travelling. These Pixel Buds have changed my mind, I find they fit in my ear comfortably and the sound they make is awesome! I love the noise cancelling it really does work, especially on quiet parts in music you can really tell that it’s working. The sound itself is brilliant, Deep low bass sharp highs and crystal clear mids. The app is great you can fine tune the EQ or go for all the usual pre-sets. All the music I played just seemed better. The touch controls are precise and work very well, they are simple and cover everything you need. You can even track the Buds case
mind blown! I own a Poco F5 and F6pro and the Buds although ideally would be paired with a Pixel phone I can confirm they work flawlessly with both my phones. Down to the nitty gritty, these Buds are very expensive and more than I feel comfortable paying. The most expensive headphones I have purchased weren’t much under a £100 and I thought they were an indulgence. These are more than double that but I can honestly say if you can afford that amount these are worth it and I thoroughly recommend them! Update. I’ve been using these on a holiday in Spain and am over the moon with them. Around 12 hours of use and there’s still plenty of battery. The noise cancelling is sublime it works brilliantly, in the airport and on the plane these earphones are fantastic! 2 people found this helpful

I recently got a Google Pixel 8a as a work phone and was lucky enough to receive these Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 to try. I was pleasantly surprised by the design and feel of both the case and the buds, they feel really nice. I have not had ear buds before particularly because I am afraid of loosing them and although these do not remove that danger, they are very comfortable to fit and wear. I am most pleased with the noise cancelling effect these buds offer, as I work in a noisy place and so I get less noise and great sounding music. The sound is clear, the buds are easy to use and connection to phone is very quick. Overall, I am very happy with these Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 and would most definitely recommend them, although price wise I do find them a bit on the expensive side.

I got a Pixel Pro 9, so I went deep into the Google ecosystem. These are good headphones, but I cannot work out why they don’t supply XL foam buds—they just didn’t feel secure in my ears. I also went from the Samsung Buds 3 to these and really missed the voice control on the Samsungs. Their sound is simply better, fuller, more dynamic, and feels much better in the ear. The crunch came when jogging in the gym- I had to tap to go to the next song sweatily, and I mostly either paused it or turned the volume up or down. The sound is good, but it just lacks stability in the ears, clunky taps, etc., and no voice control.

Previously I bought JBL ibeam earphones. I had to return them as the fit was terrible – mainly due to the stupid ‘stick’ things that just get in the way. Also they were really uncomfortable and kept falling out. I decided to try these Sonys in the Gadget Tree Black Friday sale. For around £40 these things are amazing. Lovely small design means that fit in the ears with ease and don’t fall out easily. Also the press buttons are nice to have. I’m not an audiophile, so not an expert of sound quality. But these sound absolutely fine to me. I’m sure earphones that cost £200 might sound a bit better but I doubt they would be any more comfortable or convenient than these. Good long battery life as well.

Listening to music and taking calls with these earbuds has been a seamless experience. The sound quality is excellent, and the noise cancellation works surprisingly well, blocking out background noise during commutes. They fit comfortably in my ears, and I can wear them for hours without any discomfort. The controls are intuitive, and the connection has been stable across all my devices. I particularly like the feature that pauses the music automatically when I start talking, which has been very useful in everyday situations.
