   I’m your average user, I just want a phone that does the job. That being said, decent specs for such a low price (compared to the many £700+ phones now on the market). • the camera is SUPERB, and Night Sight works like a charm. • Google Assistant doesn’t have as nice a voice as Siri but picks up my voice well and responds just as well if not better(you can change the accent but there is only one British one, the rest are all US and there is one Australian accent). In particular I like the ‘routine’ feature (I have it set up so that when I say “good morning” GA will tell me the weather, any traffic on my commute, and will play BBC news headlines). I also find that “hey Google”/”ok Google” is picked up much better than “hey Siri” ever was on my iPhone 6s. If you ask GA to play a song it will allow you to play off any music app, unlike Siri which will only play apple music. •Phone does have a plastic back so feels a little cheaper than my previous iPhone 6s, but this doesn’t bother me especially as I have a case and a glass screen protector on it anyways. •Isnt as slick as your typical iPhone but is never slow or buggy, and the fingerprint scanner works just as well if not better. Maybe it’s because I’m not exactly a pro at reviewing phones, but I see little to no difference in performance between this and many higher end phones; you’d have to have a sheet with the specs in front of you to notice anything. I’m on 9GB, unlimited texts and minutes for £29 a month and the exact same contract with an iPhone 8 was £45. I wouldn’t be able to tell you what I’d be paying more for. Thoroughly impressed! Have some photos of my cat. Didn’t use night sight in the second pic but it still picked him up pretty easily. 96 people found this helpful

   I bought this phone 4 days ago after my Windows phone was losing support it was time to switch and after looking around for all different phones I found this and after hearing such good things and then seeing images of how the phone looked i instantly feel in love with it like I could just see myself having this phone it just looked so nice and with such positive things I heard it won me over and I will admit at first when I looked into it’s specs i started to get a bit worried specially with the 4 gig of ram due to past experience with android for me where I’ve had phones in the past that slow down to the point of unusable and a habit of apps running in the background automatically without me knowing but with this so far hasn’t happened at all and when I close apps they stay close and it runs insanely smoothly I’m not sure if android has patched them issues I experienced in the past or not but it seems like that is the case which is a big thumbs up from me I’m honestly shocked on how well this phone runs it is absolutely fantastic I heard that google optimize apps for their own android phones and it clearly shows it seems very well optimized which guess is to make up for the 4 gig of ram which also shows with the limited storage which is 64 gigs which is alright perfectly enough for some apps music and photo’s videos etc but with how much memory apps and such take up nowadays it could go rather quick but to make up for this they give you unlimited storage on their photo cloud service so you can save photos and videos on the cloud without a memory limit which is a big thumbs up and 3 month subscription to there Youtube music which is your everyday music streaming services so that’s a nice little bonus to I do wish it had a memory card slot but this is just me nick picking and as most people use streaming services nowadays anyway, so I understand why they didn’t add it, but we do have a headphone jack and honestly this is very greatly appreciated as not many phones have this anymore which is a shame as a lot of people much like myself cannot afford Bluetooth headphones or specific brands so this is a very nice add in my opinion with how well this phone runs and how well optimized it is you honestly wouldn’t believe it to be a mid range budget phone it is a fantastic not only is it smooth it also has a very nice display vibrant and colors really stand out on top of a pretty good speakers and a battery life where I’ve had it going for over a day and still start the next day with some power left over granted it will depend on how much use you give it i have been using mine for most of the day with Youtube and the music app so this could be different from each person for me the battery is pretty good for what it is on a plus you also get fast charge which can get the phone fully charged in about 20 or so minutes rather than an hour which is also a very nice bonus specially if you are in a rush and need to keep your’re phone on you and powered at all times and now I talk about the phones’ camera which is honestly one of the best cameras on a phone I have ever used it is high end powerful camera it is sharp clear as crystal and with the plus of HDR to truly show the colors and details on top of being able to record videos at a 4k resolution or at 1080p at 60fps on top of being able to take pictures in the dark to see them come out showing everything in detail it is truly something not to miss up specially if you’re a fan of taking photos or recording videos. In all what can I say you get a phone that is well optimized smooth experience an amazing one of a kind phone camera clean android with no bloatware constant updates and support with the latest android OS unlimited storage for photos and videos on cloud headphone jack fast charge honestly if you want a phone just for your daily needs browsing the internet calls, text music photos etc and maybe some mid tier / low tier gaming then this is perfect phone for you if you are one of them people that use heavy-duty apps and or heavy gaming and uses a lot of space and ram then id say get something with a bit more storage and power but for basics and some mid tier usage app usage etc this is perfect and for a great price couldn’t recommend this phone enough an amazing little phone and an underrated one at that to. 21 people found this helpful
