11days, fulltime other than about 40minutesday for charging in twosessions. Battery life has surprised on the upside esp. given the bright, AMOLED display. I am using 3rdparty Rails Data Lover as my regular watch faces, in always on mode. I use them because I like at least 7 fields of customizable data. I use just over 2hours of GPS eachevery day in the morning. I walkhike using a customized 4field, 4screen Activity Display. With all that I have never had battery life fall below 45.I charge the watch twice a day, each time for about 20minutes. I keep a charger in the bathroom charge it once while having my shower after walkhike then late at night when getting ready for bed. Just that charging keeps the battery topped up. I am delighted. So, battery life is NOT an issue. Such a relief.Havent experienced any issues. I am on sw v 3.22. All very positive.A watch with a personality. Happy little watch. The bright, colorful display makes everything look cheerful.Yes, I also have an ENDURO a Fenix 6 Pro Titanium. They both sit, charged, in my desk drawer while I wear the Venu 2. So, that alone tells its own story. For the price this is dynamite. You should check out the specs. Look at some YouTube videos.I recommend it highly, without caveats.Thank you.

I spent months searching online for a watch, I reviewed all sorts of brands and styles, etc. I had a Fitbit that was always crashing during runs, when I would sweat the heart rate monitor wouldnt work, it wasnt connecting to my phone correctly, the Bluetooth connecruon was spotty, and the user interface was slow and not user friendly. I finally landed on the Garmin Venu 2. I have been using it for a few days now and I absolutely love it If you are looking for a watch that is equally stylish and practical, this is for you. I feel that it is right on the perfect line between smart watch and fitness watch. It is perfect for those who enjoy working out but also want a watch that looks stylish on the wrist, and isnt some bulky, hardcore runners watch. The interface of this watch is very user friendly, there are so many different modes and views while working out so you can view the exact information you want. The interface is also very fast and the screen is crystal clear. Although the screen is tempered glass, I am going to get a screen protector because I am very clumsy lol. Working out with this watch is very easy, you can start a workout with a touch of a button. I ran with it for the first time the other night and it was one of the most humid days, the watch stayed in place and the heart rate monitor was still very accurate It mapped my run, timed me and kept my pace. I was also able to access the entirety of the watches functions while in workout mode, which was something I was not able to do on my Fitbit. I had no issues at all I was very impressed with it. I also love the Garmin coaches and training. You basically pick a coach to help work towards a goal that you choose and it is interactive so as you improve it automatically moves you to the next milestone. For example I I doing a 5k training and my coach is helping me learn how to run correctly. Ive been running for a while but never with a coach so Im excited for this feature. There is also a feature to workout with friends remotely. You are able to do different challenges with them and see each others stats. A really awesome and fun feature. The watch band it comes with is super comfortable, very durable and doesnt slide around. Usually the watch straps that come with watches arent always as nice as the ones you can buy. Before I received the watch I had planned on getting a new band but once it came I actually really love the band and decided to stick with it. This watch is hardy as heck, I have already bumped it a few times and literally nothing is left on the watch at all. The only thing I can say to watch out for is the edge around the watch is ribbed and stuff can get stuck in it. For example I hit it on the trimdoor frame of my house and some paint or wood of something got stuck in the ribs of the watch. Easily cleanable, no damage to the watch or wall but something to note. The only negative I could think of so far is the lack of variety on the watch faces. There really isnt a whole lot to choose from and when you make your own you cant be very specific on what information you have on the screen and the more specific looks of it. Even on the store they have there just isnt a whole lot of options. Very minimal for sure but worth noting. Overall, highly recommend

Great watch and delivery was fast. No issues with either product or transaction. Still learning all the things it can do, but very happy with purchase.
TShields –
Exactly what I was looking for. I didnt want a tracker that required a monthly subscription, but wanted the features they offered such as blood oxygen level, workout tracking, sleep and energy level.
rgrind87 –
I had a very simple fitness watch die recently and tried two other options before ultimately choosing this one. It was a very easy and obvious decision too. The battery life is fantastic, it tracks my heart rate accurately, fits my small wrist and looks beautiful, and has the right amount of features. I can count on it working had issues with my previous one and the two others I tried. The app is great as well.I was looking for something to track my workouts, heart rate, steps and sleep mainly, but the other features weather, intensity minutes, stress, body battery, calendar and notification are awesome to have. There are so many beautiful watch faces to choose from too. I would HIGHLY recommend this one to people because no other one compares and I tried them lol.
Abom –
long battery life, connects to ant sensors, improved sleeptracker over Venu1, better screen, Good watch
Dan S. –
I would have liked to spend some more time with the device but Garmin kept sending me emails for a review so here it is. So far so good battery life is great, GPS integration is good, fit and material quality seems good.
Giverny –
Loving my new smartwatch, so far functions exactly as needed and love that it looks more like a regular watch. And that 10 days between charges is a vast improvement on the 4 days of my previous watch.
Benjamin –
Pros Good level of functionality AND a half decent battery life.Cons Not yet
jwitkow1 –
Out of the box three weeks. Begining my first charge. It can only get worse from here.
Jstor –
Great fitness watch if you want something easy to use to track a lot of data points.
CE –
Pros Excellent battery lifeCons Nothing to improve
Mia –
Pros Appears to be accurate for steps during running activity. Great for recording runs and gives detailed information. Links to strava. Clear screen. I like the sleep score feature, similar to other devices I have used and a feature I wished to continue using. Great that it can store music and link to headphones.Cons It does not count most steps around the home. I am a childminder and on my feet for the majority of the day. I find it very frustrating that the Garmin Venu 2s does not record my steps accurately during this time. Disappointingly I have used other, cheaper, devices and found them more accurate. For this reason I actually wouldnt recommend it its very frustrating on a daily basis and also irritates me sending me a move alert when I havent actually stopped, but it hasnt been recording my steps. For the money I would expect the basic step feature to be much better.
RS –
Excellent functionality, really helpful in monitoring lifestyle and fitness helps motivation and direction.
Mike1875 –
I upgraded to the Venu2 after using the VivoSmart for more than 5 years. The GPS locks super quick 712 seconds if not less, and the button start stop for tracking exercise is so much easier that its hard not to fall in love with this watch. Plus the watch face is cool looking and it turns on when you twist your wrist to read the time. The battery lasts around a week. I only wish I had gone one earlier.
Nicola –
great service, quick shipping and item in perfect conditions. as for the watch, i was gonna replace my current venu. i found the venu2 as light as the previous but too big. i loved the idea of having ,the advanced sleeping in the watch but what got me the most was the low responsiveness of it. widgets and menus were far too slow. the new widgets also looked messy and counterintuitive. overall it felt a cheap piece of plastic, i had to post it back and keep my current venu
manchc4 –
Im very happy with my Venu2, top quality product. Ive had Garmin products before and by far the best one yet.
Tom23 –
Had it for just under a week it seems to have performed great Coming from Fitbits Im glad to say that this is far more accurate and the app doesnt beg me for the premium upgrade constantly is much welcomeI will say that the display feels a little on the dim side even on max brightness setting but I cant fault it otherwise. Would definitely recommend it
JuLing –
That is really helpful for record life and keep up for myself
Mia H –
Upgraded from the vivomove hr. Love the gps function as I find it is more accurate recording distances and I like being able to leave my phone at home and still see my route.
Max K –
This watch does everything except cook my evening meal, it maybe does but I havent found the App yet. Before purchase I rang customer services for advice about the display as the one on her watch is useless in strong daylight, The chap in customer services told me he had a different model that he used for sailing and it was great, and has proved to be so.The initial setting up is a little complicated, but with a bit of practice my wife has mastered it.
Loved019 –
I switched from my Apple Watch really user friendly to the garmin, I loved the style battery lifeBut it doesnt give me incoming calls or texts. Ive done all the troubleshooting and still nothing. I hear other people dont have issues with it. Im giving it a try for a couple weeks. There are so many screens and places to go to get to things, its confusing compared to the Apple. But did I mention the battery life Lol I can actually track my sleep
Guy –
Very cool watch. Intuitive interface, packed with endless features. I love the screen size, looks and resolution on this.Very happy with this buy
Buzzsaw50 –
I bought this to replace my Fitbit Versa . Fitbit does an OK job but has issues with heat rate accuracy and connectivity to your smartphone. The Garmin Venu 2 has an OLED display and looks awesome. The heartrate and SpO2 are very accurate. Build quality is impeccable. Garmin is much more detailed for workout information and tracking than Fitbit. GPS locks on in about 15 seconds for outdoor activities. The battery is at 22 after 5 days and that is using GPS for about 2 hours a day. always on display is off
sisco –
had for 2 weeks now everything working great gps spot on, tracks all my routines well,Battery life great compared to my old Apple watch receives all my notifications, nice and comfortable.
KellyD –
I liked the watch but ended up returning to wait for the 45 mm. The watch looked cheap, in my opinion and was too small for my liking.
Anonymous –
Love this watch. Very easy to use. Screen is such good quality and clear Syncs well with phone and other apps like Strava.
Richard –
Pros Easy to use touch screen lightweight fits a slim wrist.Cons Quite slow to pick up GPS compared to previous Garmin
Anonymous –
Great for running to see my split intervals. Really cool when playing golf to see distance from the pin.
Anonymous –
accurate in all relevant data aspects, light on wrist, all good
Anonymous –
All round amazing watch. Perfect upgrade from the vivoactive 3 watch.
WillRock –
I brought this watch for my wife as she wanted to monitor her health and wellbeing better. She has been very impressed with the software to date and the battery life. In my previous experience with my Garmin products the only thing that lets them down is the software and this is usually rectified swiftly with an update. No issues on this front to date with the Venu 2S. The watch is highly functional for the price point and looks great too. Would recommend to anyone else looking to impress their spouse with a nice present and score some points.
Nigel –
Easy to use, fantastic product.Dont know how I managed to track my performance previously.
Alexandra –
I was torn between this and the solar instinct definitely not apples to apples. I wanted a watch with long battery life, ability to track activities, and ability to view texts. I was tempted by the instinct solar with its crazy battery life but the drawback was the lack of color screen. The venu 2s has a shorter battery life but its still really long for a smartwatch up to 11 days. Ive only had it a few days but so far Ive used it to track walks and a kayaking trip. I never knew how far I would go when on the water but everything is spelled out nicely on the app, right down to the number of strokes I made. Im glad I made this purchase and it fits my lifestyle right now. The instinct solar is a more masculine watch whereas the venu can go either way. Im planning on hiking the Appalachian Trail in a few years and Ill buy the instinct solar for when I do that.
CharlotteS –
Awful data is not accurate. Walked 5 miles today and it captured 2. This is the worst fitness watch Ive ever purchased. Ill be contacting Very.
Claire –
Pros Great battery life. The smaller face to most smart watches makes it more suited to a female with fine wrists plenty big without being oversized. Allows plenty of options for logging activitiesCons If in looking at an activity or sleep etc the screen goes to sleep very quickly. Changing the face display can affect battery life I find.
GMcK –
I have had this watch now just over 3 weeks and so far I am loving it. Some nice updates from the original Venu. I believe it is a good compromise for those wanting a stylish looking smart watch that is still capable of tracking and giving all that Garmin has to be offer. Granted it doesnt have the full set of metrics the forerunner range has but I dont believe most people really need that all
jv1991 –
Bought this as an anniversary gift for my wife and she absolutely loves it. Crisp bright screen and really easy to use and navigate. Initially concerned the 2s would be too big for her small wrists but is a great size.
KaylaS –
The only problem Im having is being able to see my text messages on my watch. Ive literally tried everything to get notification alerts on my watch and Im getting nothing.
lchacon –
I bought it 3 days ago. So far happy. Just I dont like that I need to be very careful not pressing the buttons when I swimm. I thing that should be fixed.
Peter ab –
Perfect great for tracking everything from sleep to steps and easy to use
Vwoodr1 –
I had been using the Fitbit versus. Switching to this has been great. I love the features and look of the watch. It has the same smart watch features I liked in the Fitbit perhaps even more. Great fitness tracking and the app was surprisingly easy to transition to. The venu has been a great watch. So far it appears durable, comfortable to wear, a great smart watch and fitness watch in one.
Momaro –
My husband got this for me to be abke to track the exercise I do during the day and it has been amazing. It syncs with my food tracker and I dont need to carry my cellphone everywhere, so I can exercise without extra weight.
Jason3022 –
Very happy with battery life, a good improvement on the Venu 1. However, expect Bluetooth connectivity issues when trying to play music to headphones. I have BeoPlay E2 headphones high end headphones and have never got it working, which Im disappointed about considering the marketing of this as a feature. Nonetheless, still another great product from Garmin
Judeane –
Finally received my order as it was delayed. Thankyou
SamSam2007 –
Fantastic watch, easily linked to my phone and data sync has been seamless.Has workouts and music options and every hours reminds you to go for a walk and get active.Definitely recommend it.
Kieran –
Pros Data on the watchCons None
Bella –
Really happy with it, stats very helpful. Motivates you to increase activity
Anonymous –
Love all the features this watch has works great yea
Christopher –
Pros Greatly improved menu. Very easy to use.Cons I wish they had used the slightly larger, original Venu face. It was easier to see and read.
Kazza –
Absolutely love my new Venu2.Its sleek, smart and does so much more than I even know what to do. Looking forward to learning its full functionality.
Lizzy –
This watch is exactly as expected. It looks really nice on and is great for tracking my fitness and workout sessions.I love it and would definitely recommend.
Sarah –
Pros Looks good, easy to sync with phone, has all the applications I want and need including GPS and music.Cons App is not that easy to follow, not intuitive have struggled to get music uploaded onto watch although I am pretty tech savvy and followed the written instructions in the enclosed handbook. Still not sure if its done it properly as not tested without my phone nearby.Original had to go back as it developed a blue screen only a few days after delivery.
70NYD –
im so happy i switched to garmin from galaxy. so much better in every possible way, even in this watch which is their middle tier offer, its light years ahead of the samsung watches i had in the past. also battery actually works as advertised, if you exercise regularly walkrun for hour per day with GPS and put the gesture to awake the screen sensitivity to low so its not turning on for no reason, you will have 10 days of battery. ive bought this watch just over 3 weeks ago and only charged it once a few days after i bought it as the gesture sensitivity was high so it was essentially always on, my watch face is bright and has a lot of data so it drained that quickly, but since its been 5 days of regular use, and i currently have 67 battery left for what its worth it also charges ridiculously quickly, was around a 60 minutes to charge from 15 100
AlaskanCurmudgeon –
This replaces a Fitbit Sense, which never fit my wrist very well. Im still getting used to the user interface, but the controls are well placed and well thought out. I really like the details of the workouts. All in all, after more than 10 years of being a Fitbit customer, Im now a happy Garmin customer
D Man –
Display is very clear and all the data choices gives me the versatility I need.
Melissa –
My husband had a massive heart attack so I got this watch for him to monitor his heart and exercise. It does the job great and he loves the look of it and has all the functions he loves.
KB4701 –
All I can say is WOW Ive had several smart watches in the past and by far this updated version by Garmin just blows the others out of the park. Its so easy to use, super stylish and has a range of user friendly apps. Absolutely stoked with this watch.
Poke4119 –
I got this for my birthday which isnt till June, but my old watch died and my Garmin came right in time. So far so good and I can actually see the time and all the great features. I also purchased the warranty just in case. So far so good. It was a good purchased
Logan757 –
I have had this now for about a week. They have crushed all of their opposition. I have used both Apple and Samsung watches in the past. The beautiful screen, long battery life, and INCREDIBLE breathe of fitness tracking functions blows the competition out of the water. This watch is for 99 of people. The only 1 its not for are super athletes that compete for a living, which would be better serviced by the much more dry screen wise but longer battery life Fenix or Forerunner lines.
Neil –
Pros Crystal clear screen and smooth operation
Asher –
Attractive watch. Nice smaller profile. Can be worn for dress and during exercise. Nice touchscreen display. Lots of functionality for tracking activities. Synchronization with Garmin Express. Storage for music with easy bluetooth headphone connection. Garmin pay functionality. Acceptable battery life.Recommended.
Lambrit –
Excellent aesthetics, comfortable and does the job well

Love the desing, the new updates are greatHighly recommend

I have had this watch for a week and it already went out. I used fitbits in the past but went to Garmin because I have heard they are the best but so far I am not impressed. I have had nothing but issues trying to get this watch set up, many of the advertised features do not work, and now it does in the middle of my run.
Tony –
My granddaughter really likes it a lot more than the firbit or Apple watch and thinks it has mire nice features, The only thing she wish it did was connect to her iPhone.
Matthew –
Pros Excellent screen quality and featuresCons The stopwatch function doesnt run in the background
Andie K –
This watch is exactly what i wanted. The face is so crisp and clear and the battery lasts all week even with 1 2 workouts and using other feature everyday. along with the app its a great indepth tracking tool for all my fitness and health data.
Lauren32 –
I love my watch, it does everything that i wanted in a watch and good value for money
Karensoldier –
Love my Venu 2 . It does everything I wanted it to . Only downside is I cant get a screensaver for it and have already scratched the screen . This should just come with the purchase
Nynns –
The Garmin Venu 2 is amazing. It helps me track my workouts, my overall fitness, as well as provides me with accurate stress and sleep insights, which I check daily. It is a powerful piece of technology, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to trackimprove their fitness or monitor their overall health.

I am a consistent, obsessive runner, yoga enthusiast, who also bikesspins and occasionally does strength training. I have had the Fenix 5s inthe past but it was bulky even in the smaller size so switched to the Apple Watch 5. I loved the smart features of Apple but GPS and exercise was just ok and the watch started getting really buggy as time went on. I wanted a watch that would help me train smarter show when I needed to rest, track sleep and fatigue, etc. Seeing DCRainmakers reviews convinced me to make the leap. Less than a week in, but so far I love this watch. Comfortable for daynight wear, GPS is spot on, pairs HR with my treadmill and bike computer, works with my airpods and plays my Amazon music. Body battery and sleep seem accurate, the display is beautiful but only got 2 days with always on display, and while it doesnt track lactate threshold and some of the deeper run metrics, it has plenty for me to nerd out on. If only apple would allow text responses on nonApple watches, would be perfect I can se texts and calls at least. So far impressed
Miketrack –
Amazing app amazing features just does not work with my skin type. Back to Apple Watch for me .

I have been a Garmin user for nearly a decade. Ive had various models from the Forerunner, Vivoactive, Fenix 5 and have now recently purchase the Venu 2. The Venu 2 is a great companion item for your daily routine. I am extremely impressed with the strength features when I head to the fitness center. Its like working out with personally trainer that keeps you on pace with a specific rest period. I also appreciate the Body Battery and the Sleep metrics, which is built into the watch. Having the ability to download Spotify playlists is a invaluable resource and I appreciate not having to carry my phone when I run outdoors. Overall, this is a quality product that the consumer will not be disappointed with. Thank you Garmin for bringing the best products for the sports enthusiasts across the world.

Bought this watch for the additional health features abnormal heart rate, fall detection, body battery etc and it does a great job. I would recommend this for anyone looking for a stylish watch with both fitness and health features in the one unit

I am so glad I put off purchasing a new watch until now and I could not be more pleased with the features of this watch I am pretty sure it was built for me

Bought this for my wife for her birthday. She reports that its light on her wrist, has a nice crisp display, and is fun to use. DesFit YouTube video on unboxing and setup helped learn many of the watch features.

Cons Hard connecting, late reacting in to presses, not clear
Chiara –
Tracks all activities even sleepingEasy to use and battery last 34 days

I bought this watch as an upgrade to my old Forerunner 235. While in many ways the Venu 2S is better, its missing some features that I find quite useful in my Forerunner 235. For example, the Venu 2S does not have training status or recovery time. It gathers all the stats it needs to give that information so other than to differentiate this watch from other watches in the Garmin line up, there is no reason why those two pieces of information cannot be given. So, if that is important to you, maybe stick with a Forerunner or shell out big bucks for a Fenix. But then you wouldnt have a slick watch like this one. This is my first time using an AMOLED display watch and Ive noticed that in the shower it will sometimes start scrolling through the screens on its own.

This watch is wonderful for someone like me, who is health conscious but not necessarily looking to compete professionally. Great battery life and very intuitive UI. This is probably the best beginnerfirst watch for anyone looking to better their health and lifestyle.

Garmin appears to have got this one just right, Goldilocks. Functionrich. A lot of features, like Widget Glances, carried over from the Fenix 6 Enduro. The 2minute Health Check is great to have. But, it is the big, bold bright, 45mm AMOLEDdisplay that sets this very smartwatch apart. Even with the brightness set to the lowest of the 3 settings i.e., low, medium bright the display is super bright. Spectacular. You can even have it in Always on Mode. The touchscreen is responsive snappy. The whole Garmin User Interface UI has been revamped. Very modern. Very pleasing to the eye.Functionally it is not a Fenix 6, which is nearly twice the price, but the gap is narrow. For the price this is quite the watch. Very attractive competitively priced.I highly doubt whether you will be disappointed. Just check through the feature list to see that it has what you want UNLIKE the Venu SQ the Venu 2 does have a barometric altimeter hence can count floors climbed.I definitely recommend that you check this watch out. I will do more reviews as I spend more time with this pleasing to wear smartwatch.

I have had an apple watch for many years but was tired of it looking like a sports watch. I wanted something that was beautiful and could be worn to work, out to dinner, and to work out. I found the perfect blend of features and looks in the Garmin Venu 2s I love that it track literally everything and it looks professional and classy Thank you Garmin

A 2hour hikewalk with GPS on, for the whole duration, reduces battery life by about 20, from say 90 to 70. That is not bad. Par with a Fenix 6. I have been using 3rd part Rails Data Lover as my watch faces, with always on turned on. Battery has stood up well considering that this is a bright AMOLED display though I am using the low setting since it is plenty bright enough. I am impressed. So, here is a tip. I keep a charger in the bathroom. Over the last few years I have started taking off my Garmin before I take my shower because I have been wearing leather straps. By habit, I still do this with the Venu 2 thought I have yet to put a leather strap on it. I actually have a velcro strap. So, I charge the Venu 2 for 20minutes white I shower. BINGO. I can get back the I lost while hiking. GREAT. So, think about that. It uses the standard Fenix 56 charger cable. You can get one, on the cheap, from HRM USA.I am real pleased with the Venu 2. Very compelling watch. No fuss. Just does what you expect it to do.For the price, I think it is a great buy. Check it out. all the best.

Mooi horloge, reageert snel, prettig scherm, veel opties.

Loving the Venu 2 as my everyday smartwatchfitness tracker While its not as versatile as my Forerunner 935, it suits me far more as an everyday wear the smart watch features are more responsive and broader in scope. My only major gripe is the lack of power meter connectivity.

So far I absolutely love my Garmin watch. Simple to set up. And fairly easy to use.Battery life is awesome so far.

I purchased this about a week ago and have been very impressed. I looked at the Fenix 6s line as well as the Venu 2S and this was all I needed without a lot of extras I wouldnt use and didnt need. I find it to be the perfect size for my wrist and probably one of the most feminine fitnessoriented smartwatches out there. In doing research I read a lot of negative reviews about the response to touch or wrist movement being slow, but I have found the exact opposite to be true. This thing is incredibly responsive and really accurate It has allowed me to get greater insight in a simple to understand format.

I am really happy with my upgrade from the original Venu to the Venu 2s. The size is perfect for my wrist and the screen is clear and bright.I found my original Venu lagged a bit but this one doesnt at all. Its very responsive and the battery is outstanding.I went for the silver one in the end and am extremely happy that I did.The new icons and added extras, for me are well worth it. JB delivery was fast.Highly recommend this watch.

I have just upgraded to the venu 2 from a previous Garmin watch and I love it.The screen is so sharp and clear, you can choose your activity along with the new HITT.GPS is great for mapping your runs and walks and when swimming it is very accurate.

I cant figure out how to sync my fitness pal to pull in my calories. If I could do that, it would be 5 stars

I have only had this watch for about a week, and I switched from Apple to Garmin. I was worried about not answering textscalls from my watch, but it has been an easy transition and definitely not a dealbreaker. I havent used the hiking or rowing yet, but the run, strength, and HIIT features work very well. The Garmin Connect app is awesome, and I LOVE that I can wear my watch for days between charges. My Apple Watch only lasted 16 hrs Great job, Garmin

What more can I say about purchasing from Best Buy. Excellent products, prices service. Whenever im in need of any electrical gadgets, my first stop is ALWAYS Best Buy. Why go anywhere else

I was excited having Garmin watch but disappointed the watch only worked 2 days and died.

Just got this earlier this week. Took it on my first hike and it did a phenomenal job. Tracked well. Easy to read the screen in the woods. It picked up GPS very quickly about 15 secondsOnce you get used to the interface on the watch and the app on my phone, it starts to get easier to use.Im glad I got the Venu 2s. It fits on my wrist well without being too large and its very easy to see in broad daylight. It is a serious piece of hardware for someone who wants to track a lot of data about their health and exercises Im planning on using it for my hiking, walking, biking, kayaking, and of course as a very stylish watch with a round face that looks very natural.

Super stoked with the watch, the quality, features and Garmin App are second to none
Logan757 –
I have had this now for about a week. They have crushed all of their opposition. I have used both Apple and Samsung watches in the past. The beautiful screen, long battery life, and INCREDIBLE breathe of fitness tracking functions blows the competition out of the water. This watch is for 99 of people. The only 1 its not for are super athletes that compete for a living, which would be better serviced by the much more dry screen wise but longer battery life Fenix or Forerunner lines.
busyteacher82 –
I have had an apple watch for many years but was tired of it looking like a sports watch. I wanted something that was beautiful and could be worn to work, out to dinner, and to work out. I found the perfect blend of features and looks in the Garmin Venu 2s I love that it track literally everything and it looks professional and classy Thank you Garmin

I have had nothing but issues trying to get this watch set up, many of the advertised features do not work, and now it does in the middle of my run.

very good watch

Pros Great battery life. The smaller face to most smart watches makes it more suited to a female with fine wrists plenty big without being oversized. Allows plenty of options for logging activitiesCons If in looking at an activity or sleep etc the screen goes to sleep very quickly. Changing the face display can affect battery life I find.

What Do I Know –
Coming from the Vivoactive 3 so, not really experienced many other brands apart from lowend Fitbits previously, this is an exceptionally good upgrade. Initially waiting for the next version of Vivoactive but the Venu 2S looks and feels better than the Vivoactive 3 with a lower profile and an exceptionally great display. The display comes at a heftier price, not sure why, but ultimately you can see and read everything in all lighting conditions. Primarily using it to record the following sports Running Walking Daily, Cycling, Swimming, and workouts. As its a new watch the battery life is very good and averaging at least two activities per day of 1hr each lets say the battery has been lasting around six days. Another advantage is that I no longer need to set the lock screen as the Vivoactive would respond to anything touching it, whereas the Venu 2S is not affected by this. It has a number of sensors which has opened the Garmin app to give deeper insight into sleep and rest patterns and much more. Although on the slightly expensive side The wife is happy with her birthday present for at least the next 3 years before another upgrade is due

I bought this to replace my 5 year old Vivoactive HR. Huge amount of progress made with this watch. Display is superb as is battery life. You have to let these watches grow on you, you will never get all the features and benefits on day one.

The battery is at 22 after 5 days and that is using GPS for about 2 hours a day. always on display is off
Kazza –
Absolutely love my new Venu2.Its sleek, smart and does so much more than I even know what to do. Looking forward to learning its full functionality.

I am loving the Venu 2, I had always been a Fitbit fan, tried their newest version, too many bugs returned it. Decided to try the Garmin Venu 2 and it has done great. Great battery life, awesome feature, and a stylish look.

Really good watch, my girlfriend was using a fenix 5 52mm for mountain biking and hikes on her tiny wrist so I gave her this one and she loves it, it doesnt give you all the info that the fenix does but she likes the resolution of the screen and the fact that is touch, now she uses for every day and forgot about the other, it looks really good and has plenty functions

Well, I received it today and I love it It is comfortable, good looking, and everything seems to be working. There is a bit of a learning curve, but I was making it harder than it needed to be. Like, you install a watch face on the Garmin Connect app and it magically gets sent to the watch and becomes active. And, I picked a Garmin Coach plan for a beginner 5K. The watch then informed me my benchmark run was tomorrow and added a warm up, jog, and cool down. All I have to do is press start and, of course, run. Theoretically, the watch will prepare me for a 5K on August 21. Also, the amoled screen is just beautiful and bright. It is a little more difficult to see in bright sunlight than other technology, but it is still completely legible. Inside, it is terrific to look at. I really debated over the Venu 2 or one of the Forerunners. I picked the Venu 2 because it has their newest wrist heart rate sensor, great battery life, and plenty of data for anyone other than hardcore runners. This product is definitely more of a fitness tool than a smart watch, which I love. I dont get smart watches that need to be connected to a phone. Why not just use the bigger, better phone With the Venu 2, you have GPS, music and heart rate without the need to carry a phone. Finally, make sure you update the watch firmware immediately. The wifi connection was unstable before but works great after the update.

Pros Good level of functionality AND a half decent battery life.Cons Not yet

im so happy i switched to garmin from galaxy. so much better in every possible way, even in this watch which is their middle tier offer, its light years ahead of the samsung watches i had in the past. also battery actually works as advertised, if you exercise regularly walkrun for hour per day with GPS and put the gesture to awake the screen sensitivity to low so its not turning on for no reason, you will have 10 days of battery. ive bought this watch just over 3 weeks ago and only charged it once a few days after i bought it as the gesture sensitivity was high so it was essentially always on, my watch face is bright and has a lot of data so it drained that quickly, but since its been 5 days of regular use, and i currently have 67 battery left for what its worth it also charges ridiculously quickly, was around a 60 minutes to charge from 15 100

Would definitely recommend it

The Garmin Venu 2 is amazing. It helps me track my workouts, my overall fitness, as well as provides me with accurate stress and sleep insights, which I check daily.

Ive had various fitbits over the years, then the latest Galaxy smartwatch. Im not a fan of Apple products as the batteries always run down very quickly so you are made to buy the latest. So I researched before buying and this is the best smartwatch Ive ever owned. Its like a top of the range Merc vs a old Ford Van The GPS never loses signal, battery is amazing and charges quickly, despite having all features on all the time. I love it. I run, do boxing, pilates and have even been in the pool with it. Its slim enough to feel feminine and goes with anything

Attractive watch. Nice smaller profile. Can be worn for dress and during exercise. Nice touchscreen display. Lots of functionality for tracking activities. Synchronization with Garmin Express. Storage for music with easy bluetooth headphone connection. Garmin pay functionality. Acceptable battery life.Recommended.

I would have liked to spend some more time with the device but Garmin kept sending me emails for a review so here it is. So far so good battery life is great, GPS integration is good, fit and material quality seems good.
