Great watch more I use it the more features I find. If your looking for a easy to use simple watch for running and riding its great. Swimming is out a little with the GPS for distance maybe needs a calibration. Best feature is being able to download music from Spotify on to the watch no more need to caring my phone for music.

I use this watch to monitor my health. Sleep, steps, heart rate, are the most important to me when I do my morning walk of 7000 steps 5 kl and end up 10000 steps for the day. I only walk during the week. I am about to start my bike riding again My previous Garmin did the same and it only lasted 2 yrs. THIS WATCH IS A MUST FOR ALL PEOPLE OVER 70 years Note I am 75. Years old

Great watch, easy to use, good GPS and much more accurate elevation than my previous Garmin. Nice to be able to switch activities easily. I havent tried out the music ability or waterproof yet but look forward. Minor annoyances are that each time I take offput a jumper on the buttons press, and Garmin keeps recommending me activities, which are not exactly sensible given my training log. If it had its way I would be going 30 min 530 per km every day, rather than longer. Odd since Im a marathon runner

Bought as a replacement for the Fenix S Music. A great value watch that does everything I need. If you do swimming Triathlons this is a great option as not having a touch screen sees it stay on the correct screens. Connects to everything you need and has really great battery life. Would definitely recommend.

We are an athletic family we love our sport. This watch was a great first serious sports watch for our 10yr old who runs to win against herself. She loves she can hear tunes. She loves that it records her distance, times and has a sports coach feature for when shes on holidays from her coach On top of that it diverges to other sports to record her activities Expensive for someone her age YES BUT it we are hoping with a name like Garmin synonymous with the running world it like her will last the distance SO FAR SO GOOD

Great watch that does all it says it does. Easy to navigate and use. Nice to wear and not too big. Only thing is that wearing a fitness watch doesnt make you fit Lol. Really happy with this watch that offers fitness tracking but also everyday usefulness. After a lot of deliberation Im glad with my choice

Ive owned a series of Garmin watches now. Ive compared all of them from the fenix to the lowliest Forerunner. I was looking for long battery life, bread crumb map to follow and plot ridesruns, crisp display, and a SMALLER SIZE All the recent Garmins have been 43mm This is now just under 40mm and seems far less like a bling shouty statement that I like running and more like a tasteful integration of sports into the life of a normal person. I love this watch. I love the wrist based HR, I love the Colour of the strap, the texture of the strap. Ive managed to get a full week long charge from it ever since I got it 5 weeks ago. Its fantastic. I think this is really the bargain triathlon watch weve been waiting for and, provided youre not interested in skiiingboarding and need the altimeter, I really believe its the best watch in the range. Sigma sport were brill on customer service shipping as usual Get this watch. You wont regret it

I bought a forerunner fitness watch nearly two years ago. It stopped charging and John Lewis honoured the warranty. The Furerunner has as many options like run walk cycle etc and is easier to stop and start. The charge lasts for a week. Transfers easily to my apple phone to strava via garmin app.

The watch gets what you need done. It has settings for everything from workouts to music selection and you can even check the weather while using it. However it takes a little while to get used to and isnt incredibly intuitive with its controls so if you are not technologically inclined or dont have someone to help you, I would advice finding something with a touch display so that you have help working out the watch. In all other aspects though it has the same functionality as more expensive smart watches by Apple and Samsung so on sale, this is an excellent smart watch I can highly recommend if you can work out the controls.

Ive been using this watch for about a month or so now and I cannot fault it whatsoever. In respect of sporting activities, I have only used the watch for running. However, there are settings for treadmill, indoor track, bike and pool swim preset, plus a multitude of others which can be added. There is a map feature to view your activity, the BluetoothGPS connection is fast and never drops out and the battery life is good. The quick release silicone strap is comfortable to wear. A lot of similar watches are fairly big and bulky. The Garmin 245 is a little smaller but this does not detract from the display as the watch bezel is fairly thin. This suits me as my wrists are quite small. Ive owned several GPS watches over the years and this is by far the best one to date. I highly recommend this product.
