Coming over from Samsungs smart watch platform over to the Fitbit showed immediate differnces I didnt like. The Fitbit screen size is too small compared to the size of its case. The display does not extend all the way to the edge of the case. While this is probably larger than other fitbit devices, its still small compared to what you get with Samsung or Garmin for example. There are also more steps involved to log in basic daily info. To log water intake for instance you need to swipe up, down twice to get to the widget and then tap and then tap again to input then tap to get out and press button to go to home. With Samsung for example you turn the bezel once to locate the widget, input once, then press button to home in half the steps compared to Fitbit. Also the Versa 2 did not stay paired with the phone multiple times. It dropped out three times in one day and if your dependent on receiving notifications, this wont due. Cant rely on this. Could be the one I got is defective. So I took it back and did not request a replacement. The fitbit app is a battery drainer on your phone too compared to other apps. And there are other things that suck like you cant store watch faces and the quality of the watch faces nowhere near compare to whats available with other brands. They look like theyve been pasted together. You install one and if you want to change it to another you go find it and install again and if you want to go back to the one you had you have to refind it and install again. Theres more than enough space on this hard drive to store so this is just negligent or lack of vision on fit bits part. With my Samsung I have over 15 faces all stored on the watch which I can switch on the fly. Too bad with fitbit in all because the quality of display is very good, just too small, too many steps to input data, and the unreliable pairing thing. The two good things I noticed is the watch is comfortable and the charging is relatively quick. But you only get one shot at a first impression and overall I was not happy. would I try another fitbit Probably not. They have to develop a lot more. Going back to Samsung.

First off I would like to say I loved my Fitbit It played a major role in getting healthy. I work in a prison setting which requires me to do a lot of walking, being able to track my steps as well checking my heart rate was excellent after all I received excellent reviews from my fellow nurses but shortly after purchasing it my wrist began to hurt and after long hours due to covid 19 I was left with a permanent scar on my left wrist. I took every possible step such as taking my Fitbit off even applying ointments but was unsuccessful. Fitbit told me they couldnt help because I purchased the item from target so after walking into target to return a purchase I was left with little to no hope. Target refused to take my item back because I didnt have the original boxing, after calling targets 1800 I was told I wouldnt be able to receive my refund in the original form, Only store credit after asking would my 215.95 be returned via gift card they still couldnt give me that answer. Im highly upset because Im left with a scar and no hope or possible refund at this moment…. Fitbit is the only smart watch to cause bodily damage not apple, fossil or micheal kors just Fitbit.. THANK YOU TARGET FOR BACKING FAULTY EQUIPMENT

OK, so I am a Fitbit charge 2 owner and have used it for some time. As I exercisework out 6 days a week I felt i needed an upgrade, was looking at the versa 2 anyway then saw it was a TSV with easy pay… bonus.Have had it now for a couple of days and very dissapointed. The initial setup was quite lengthy due to softwarefirmware update which had to go through my smart phone as the watch rejected the wifi password to my hub.The exercise videos are limited unless you subscribe to the Fitbit premium service, which is another 79 a year. The apps available for the versa 2 are extremely limited and are very much geared toward the USA market.Fitpay is not available in the UK due to extremely limited banks available so you are unable to use it for contactless payment.I have not used the spotify function as I subscribe to Amazon music subsequently no app for this function availableThe sleep tracking function has for some reason decided not to record anything, doing a bit of research I have read this to be an issue a few have found. On a Positive note, Alexa function works fine, the email, messaging and many of the other app notifications seem to work fine too and as a wearable fitness tracker which predominately is what it is, I have no issues with. All seem to work well and so far with a fair deal of accuracy. Does it make it worth the price no.

I upgraded to this watch from the Fitbit Altra. Since I have a very small wrist, I thought that the face would be a little bit too big on my arm, but it fits perfect. Theyve update the software, so now I have the O2 reader. My favorite is the notifications. Little reminders about moving, reminders about drinking water and other helpful tips. You can set your bed time through the settings and 30 minutes prior, it will tell you to get ready for bed. I havent set up Alexia yet, Im still playing with it. Highly recommend it.

This watch is useful as a watch with occasionally cool features. If you have no limitations with mobility, it can be mostly functional as a step counter. However, for any other healthrelated features, take the readings with a decent grain of salt. If you are plus size, this device may not work for you very well. The same if you do strenuous workouts, or workouts involving moving your arms a great deal. Researchers have published several studies detailing the limitations of fitbit as a device, and theyre worth looking into before you purchase it. Overall, its a decently priced smart watch.

I am enjoying having my Fitbit. I especially like seeing my sleep review and watching my heart rate fluctuations is enlightening The app needs to always be running in the background otherwise certain things dont update. Battery so far average is about 6 days. Good that it can prompt you to walk around, drink, take time to reflect. The breathing app on the Fitbit is good as are the app programmes which also track your heart rate during mindfulness. Nice fit, comfy, good quality, ,doesnt bother me when asleep. I do find I build up steps just from using my hand, eg typing. The extra strap in the box is a bonus. Delivery from John Lewis was straightforward and the extra warranty is reassuring. A shame that you cant pair with an android on an older software version or that with an apple you can only read and not reply to messages. But getting emails is a nice feature as well as seeing messages, even without this ability.

I have owned the charge HR2 and the versa before this one and I have to say the Versa 2 is my favorite. Is it an apple watch no, and I dont need it to be. It tracks my physical activity well and heart rate is pretty accurate when compared with treadmill heart rate monitor I like some of the upgrades that it has over the versa1 like paying with your watch which comes in handy, in addition to, the Alexa connection which is awesome. It tracks exercise better than its predecessors with various new exercise modes added. battery life has been around 5 days for me and had no issues so far with connectivity or other technical problems. I also love the ability to control screen light which was a bit of an issue in bright sun on the previous version. I cant vouch for durability just yet since I only had it for a month but it seems of equal and maybe slightly better quality than the versa1 which lasted me over two years before I ruined it accidentally dont wear it in a hot jacuzzi for hours and then jump into cold water. Buy the Walmart 3 year protection plan with it and if you can get it on sale 150 it would be a very sweet deal and will guarantee that you will not need to buy another one for a long time. If you are an apple fanboy this review is not for you, but if you want a good way to track your activity sleep and heart rate while having some fun extras on your wrist for an affordable price then Versa 2 is perfect.

Besides the troubles setting up all the other negative reviewers had, I couldnt wear mine over a day. Then there was the fact it did NOT update the firmware and I did not get the menu options the hosts flashed across the screen. NO one showed how to update and install the DIFFICULT set up. It is not so intuitive as a pc or tablet is. It needs to be shown step by step rather than always using a prepared watch in every demonstration. The final deal breaker was that it does not do blood pressure readings. OK. Ive watched several times since receiving mine, and nobody includes blood pressure readings in the list though I am SURE I heard it listed in the presentation during which I placed my order.Somewhere in the info I saw nickel listed. Maybe that is what made my wrist itch, but I do not know where the nickel was located on the watch or buckle.

I bought my Versa 2 in September. Everything started out great. The step and heart rate features worked fine. A couple months later the Fitbit no longer accurately recorded my heart rate. It was anywhere between 5 to 30 beats per minute off. I contacted Fitbit and they sent me a new one. Unfortunately, the new one is now doing the same thing. This time the accuracy only lasted a day. It also did something new, it recorded a heart rate when I wasnt wearing it. Had it on my bedside table while I was fast asleep. Had me in the fat burn zone for 7 hours. If you are looking at getting a fitness tracker Id take a look at some of the other options before making a decision. You may just feel like you wasted your money otherwise.3 stars started off great, Fitbit replaced it free of charge, flawed hardware and software.

I have been using this watch since January 2020. My first smart watch and it was a little intimidating at first, but its fairly easy to use. You can control music from this and connect BT headsetsear buds, has spotify built in voice assistant. I dont use the music function but you can store music up to 300 songs. Keeps track of my sleep, steps, water intake, calories, time spent exercising, heart rate. Its a useful tool to help you become more active and shed the pounds or maintain a healthy lifestyle. I had to get a different wrist strap the included one while being silicone did make my wrist itch, there are lots of wrist bands our there for this watch and in all manner of styles to suit your specific tastes. You can download different watch faces as well some are free and some will cost you, I recommend getting a screen protector if you wear this to work or are very active so you can avoid scratching the screen. You will need the Fitbit app on your phone iPhone or Android to log things like water, sleep, calories and other things. The included charger also does not sit flat but it does charge the watch quickly 10 to full charge is a little less than an hour, which is about as fast as modern cell phone chargers. Get it if you want an extra tool in your quest to lead a healthier lifestyle, you cant go wrong with this watch.

First off I paid the extra 30 for the special edition because it said it came with an extended trial period of fitbit premium, then I found out that fitbit premium is 10 a month… So I got a neat looking woven band, but basically paid the same price for the premium as if I had not gotten the special edition. Dont get the special edition unless you really like the band. Now on to the device itself…The device aesthetically is great. The screen is vibrant and easy to see. I thought the size was good as well. The band is interchangeable and fits bands from the original versa. This means that there are a lot of options for getting different bands and you can create whatever look you really want.Functionally the device is great. It is smooth with very little to no lag when switching screens. Alexa works adequately, however it cannot control aspects of your mobile device as most alexa devices do. If I told alexa to send a text message or make a call, it would say this feature is not available on this device. You can respond to text messages and even the talktotext is very good, but I did not like how I could not just tell it to text someone. Since there is not a speaker on the watch itself there is no way to have phone conversations as you can with other smartwatches but you can accept or decline calls. I really liked that the device is waterproof and so I did not have to worry about it getting it wet or anything. The fitness functionality is great with this device. It automatically detects various exercises and does this extremely well. This is a great fitness tracker, I just think the price point is too high, even at 200. It is cheaper than the apple watch or the galaxy active watch, however, those devices let you make phone calls and send texts…. I feel as if the versa 2 is somewhere stuck between being a fitness tracker and a smart watch.Would I recommend it Probably not at that price, there are other fitbits, including the original versa and the versa lite, that are cheaper and track fitness just as well, they are just missing a few minor features that the versa 2 has.

This is only my 2nd smart watch experience and it is better than I thought it would be. My 1st watch was from a startup company who focused heavily on the screen and health features. I didnt know what I was missing. The Versa 2 was the most affordable option for me and the bigger screen and suite of versatile options, is more than enough for me. As a first time customer, I signed up for the premium account but I think thats unnecessary for me. My favorite feature is speaktotext. Leaving my phone down or to the side has gotten easier and easier over the years and I feel like this watch was my last missing piece. The battery life is amazing, something I never worry about. The watch is so popular I had no problem finding custom bands or screen protectors, which is a must for my tech.

I purchased a Fitbit Versa 2 and the screen became unresponsive, completely blacking out. I was able to return it to Best Buy and replace it with another. The second Fitbit also became unresponsive. This time, at least the screen displayed the time, however, thats all it would do. Everything else was not accessible, since the screen was unresponsive. I contacted Fitbit and they are sending me a replacement in 7 to 10 days. My daughter also purchased the same watch from Best Buy and experienced a similar problem with it being unresponsive. She was able to get hers to work again after after allowing the battery to completely drain. It started working again upon startup. Conclusion 3 out of 3 units have issues with the watch becoming unresponsive. 2 out of 3 units are unable to recover, requiring replacement. I do not recommend these watches.

Been wearing this for the last few weeks and now I dont know how I did without it. Brilliamt, effective smartwatch that monitors all the important stuff. Very user friendly. Seen a difference in my health already. The gentle oromots work a treat to encourage good habits. Stopped other programs as this combines everything all in one place. Great to be able to quickly receive messages, check the weather and use spotify while being active. So handy. Also design is far more comfirtable than others I have had in the passt that did in to get your vital stats. It also looks great on. Highly recommend.

I really enjoyed this watch especially the updated features when you use it with a premium Fitbit subscription. The issue is…it unceremoniously died. Was working perfectly fine then battery dropped suddenly within 1 hour from 65 to 16 then the screen went multicolored lines, then black. Read up on troubleshooting and tried to charge it but to no avail. I bought it July 2019 used it for five months. Abandoned it in a drawer. Then picked it up again March 2020. Died today. So a total of 12 months of use. Like other reviews pointed out, it died 1 year after use. Look at different brand unless you want to buy a new one every 12 months.

Ive had a couple of Fitbits over the past few years and I really liked being able to track my steps and sleep, plus I had the option to track food and water. My last Fitbit an Inspire wasnt very good quality and I sort of gave up on the brand and bought a Samsung Watch for 350.It was much less reliable than even the Inspire, so I returned it.I started researching a good replacement. The Versa 2 got very good reviews, but there were some comparability issues with Samsung phones, but they claimed that was fixed with the last patch. So once the Versa 2 went on sale, I bought one.Out of the box it only took about half an hour to charge vs the Samsung, which was 34 hours every time. The software and firmware update took maybe 10 minutes, and I just ran it while the watch was charging. There were a couple of glitches with receiving text messages in the beginning, and the bluetooth didnt stay tethered, but a quick google search led me to the solution which was restarting the watch 3 times in a row, then restarting the phone and everything works great now.Battery life is outstanding. I charged it 3 days ago and Im still at 66 battery life.It tracks my steps very well, and I believe it tracks my sleep pretty accurately my doctor tells me its really just an educated guess based on movement and heartrate, but on those morning I wake up groggy and cruddy, the Fitbit shows I got poor sleep, and mornings where I feel great, the Fitbit says I got a great night sleep. Its an attractive watch, especially with the new cloth band I put on it. It has the option for an always on display, but I prefer a long battery life. There are also many, many different watch faces you can choose.Overall I am extremely happy with this watch.

I LOVE my Versa 2 Ive had it for about a year and a half. I get into dailyweeklyweekend competitions that keep me moving. This is my alarm clock and my timer. There are hundreds of clock face options so you can really customize. I never stay with the original band. I like the Horween leather bands Fitbit sells. I have been using their trackers and accessories since they came out. I love that they listen to their customers and offer beta testing. This watch can track oxygen levels, sleep, active minutes, heart rate, stairs and of course steps. There are other apps you can also download for it.

When I first bought this fitful versa around 9 months ago I loved it But then I started noticing that when I went for runs, walks and bike rides it would record the distance inaccurately. For example, I would go on a 5km walk I knew it was 5km because we have being on this walk many time and measured the distance with a range of different devices and it would only say I did 2.8km Another example is when I went for a 4km run at a 610 pace and it said I only ran 3km at a 710 pace. I had my phone on me both times so my Fitbit was connected to mobile data but it just wasnt picking up my exercise accurately. This happened quite often. Even in car rides it would count steps, sometimes even over 5,000 steps in a 45 min car ride It would also count flights of stairs in the car but wouldnt count them when I would actually walk up fights of stairs. The heart rate was inaccurate too. it was saying that I was at rest even though I was doing intense exercising and could feel my heart beating really fast. Overall, wouldnt recommend, its too much money to pay for such an inaccurate device. I ended up having to return mine. I did enjoy some of the features though and think with much improvement, it could be a very good device.

1 As advertised, the Fitbit arrived well packaged in its original, factorysealed package. Charger and cable, silicone bands for large and small wrists included. 2 I was not impressed with the fit of the silicone band and easily found a metal mesh band that works very well. 3 The smartwatch has a huge number of nested functions and apps DOWNLOAD and READ the manual again, easily found. That makes using the watch much easier. 4 I originally had some accuracy issues with the tracker but found you need to choose which arm you are wearing it on to gain the best accuracy. 5 Overall, a good tool if you are interested in tracking multiple aspects of your fitness.

I have a Versa that works fine but did not have Alexa. I bought this one because I wanted to upgrade and to have access to the Alexa. First.. the watch will not charge to 100, it will only go to 99. Second, when you download a another watch face from the fitbit app, it gets stuck in the download and you cannot access any others. I had to delete the fitbit app and reset back to factory settings to get this fix. FINALLY.. and the most aggravating… THE ALEXA DOES NOT WORK ON IT I asked simple questions like, is it going to rain watch reply sorry, didnt get your request then I tried something more simple. Add potatoes to my shopping list. watch reply sorry, didnt get your request and then another watch reply sorry, didnt get your request and another, watch reply sorry, didnt get your request and another , watch reply sorry, didnt get your request. THE WHOLE PURPUS FOR BUYING THIS WAS THE ALEXA. And I am sure I will be charged for sending this DEFECTIVE purchase back. Dont buy it you will end up sending it back.

I have used my Versa 2 for almost 6 months and it has given me everything that I have expected it to do and more. I like to keep up with my activity at work andor home just to get an idea of how much or little I have walked in a given day. I also like the sleep monitor that breaks down the different stages of my rest for the previous night. There is a premium service that will expand and offer more options, but I have been happy with the basic service. Another feature is how I can choose different apps on my phone to notify my watch, which comes in handy during meetings when I have my phone on vibrate. I also do not have to get my phone out to look at it, which makes me appear more attentive than I actually might be. My work environment can get rough, so I did buy a different band to protect my investment and the options available on the market for this watch is an asset for recommending this model. I can quickly put on the original band to go out somewhere nice or have my bumper guard at work and protect it from getting beat up andor scratched.

I love my Versa 2 for tracking my health and fitness. The heart rate is very accurate within 2bpm of professional monitors and I love all of the features. This watch sees heavy use from me and its durable and reliable with a relatively long battery life. I love being able to use Spotify straight from the device and all of the built in features but its easy to customize from the app too. Lovelove the Fitbit interface and wouldnt change a thing about it. Good size for a full display and smaller wrists too unlike much of the competition. Highly recommended.

I am putting this to good use. I can see the display clearly in the brightest sun which I couldnt do with my old fitbits. The always on function does not work like I thought it would. It will allow the time to be displayed and two basic stats that do not include the heart rate stat that I want. On bike rides it is difficult to get to the display to appear without taking my hands off the handlebar. Cold weather with long sleeves makes it almost a mandatory two hands off the handlebars. The heart rate seems accurate but only if the watch is kept fairly snug and above the wrist which is again awkward to see with long sleeves on a bike. If real time viewing of info is not important, but stats at the end of my ride seem accurate and easy to access. I like the available watch faces and have fun with them. It is comfortable but must be worn higher on the arm and snugger than I am used to in order to get accurate readings.

My first versa 2 lasted just over a year. Fitbit honored the warranty and sent me a replacement. The replacement lasted only 5 months. The screen would light up and give me crazy amounts of steps while I was sleeping. I reset it a few times and one day it just wouldnt charge or turn back on. Fitbit said the warranty is only valid on the original one. They dont warranty their replacements. Ive been using Fitbit devices for close to 10 years and one thing Ive noticed is that they just dont last much after the 1 year mark. Time to try an Apple Watch.

i really like this watch that being said, i hated trying to set it up it was not a straightforward process therefore, EXTREMELY frustrating… i spent literally hours going back and forth thru youtube and various other sites trying to understand what was to be done. i ended up working for hours over 3 days to accomplish it. fitbit has lousy, minimal directions which are woefully inadequate. now for the love part… once set up, its amazing there are so many things you can do with it… if you can make them work which is another ball of wax. and by the way, no support on weekends.moving on… i am older and perhaps that is partially responsible for the difficulties. but seriously… the stats for health tracking is ideal for us seniors as well as fitness junkies but setup is crazy enough to throw your hands up and send it back love the clock face opportunities along with customization possibilities though.bottom line, i was determined to get it to work so i kept at it. i wouldnt recommend it if patience and perseverance is an issue. also, be aware that many clock faces have black backgrounds which is an issue for me so i searched other clock face sites to find one i could at least see somewhat clearly. the one i chose also detailed weather data which is something i wanted. strangely, the girly ones didnt and many had limited stats to offer.

So let me start by saying I love fitbit for everyday purposes. It encourages me to get moving and reach my step goal. I got my watch in February 2020 and at the time I was very happy with it. But over the quarantine I started going on runs, and it wasnt til recently when I started running with other people that I realized the watch is about a half mile off and it has also recently started saying that my average pace is always 1035. This has start to become very frustrating and the only thing the watch is actually accurate on is my time. If you intend on getting a watch for running I would recommend getting either a Garmin or an Apple because although they are more expensive I think its worth it. I think Im going to get a Garmin for my runs but I will probably keep my watch for just wearing during the day because there are a lot of things I love about it. For example you can change the clock face to look like just about anything, and there are tons of interchangeable bands and I just love the community and competitiveness within the fitbit app. If you just want a watch for wearing everyday or to keep you moving then this might be good for you.

This is my second time getting a Versa 2. The size and shape are perfect. I love having texts pop up on the screen or a call, so I know if I have to respond immediately or if I can wait a bit. The FitBit functions are easy to use and having my progress monitored throughout the day has really helped me improve all of my lifestyle habits. Best Buy has been my choice both times for getting my FitBit. Good prices, and honestly that extra warranty is a necessity. I know a few FitBit owners, and Im including myself here, that have found themselves a month over that oneyear included warranty and suddenly the FitBit dies or starts acting zany. Warranty helps.

I bought this FitBit Watch for my husband because he had FitBit envy after he bought mine for my birthday. He loves it Its great for tracking various activities, sleep patterns, SpO2, etc. I wish it had GPS so I could keep track of him better, but hes okay with no GPS. He likes being able to change the watch face and has two favorites.I ordered a black leather band that complements this Iron Mist FitBit. My husband switches back and forth wearing the Charcoal Woven Jacquard Band to run and workout and the black leather band to church and to work.

I like the ability to change watch faces. The apps are awesome. I use the wallet app to pay without having to use my purse and risk losing my card. I use the starbucks app a lot along with my Alexa. When I leave work, I just give Alexa a command for one of my routines that I have set up to have my home well lit and at a comfortable temperature when I get home. I havent used any other the work out videos yet but I love being able to see at a glance how well Im doing with my exercise. I love the fact that it is waterproof and I use it in the pool an hour and a half at a time. I even shower with it on.

Pros Lovely design and easy to understand functionality. Im still testing various features but so far I love it. Connectivity with Alexa requires the fitbit app being open in your phone but thats not a bad thing for the benefits it can bring. I love the fun pets you can have on the clocks so you can keep a mini competition with yourself if you dont move enough they go away for a bitCons Improvements are mainly required from the link between Fitbit app and the coach app as they dont really talk to each other there are duplication issues when logging workouts using coach as you get them logged as exercise by coach and then by Fitbit app. Fitbit have said theyre are working to improve this do fingers crossed for an update soon.

Okay, okay, she loved it at first but then felt guilty about not meeting goals and getting her steps so she stopped using it every day. She is going to try again but this review will only pertain to the product and not her use case. It was easy to sync to the Fitbit app on her android phone. It works great for most things. If it were me, Id probably give it five stars but she seemed to have a problem with the sleep tracking. I never had a problem with mine but I sleep like a rock so who knows For just keeping track of her steps, heartbeat, and calories burned, it worked great Id recommend it.

All of my prior Fitbit models lasted over 2 years and I sold them to upgrade to newer models with the exception of the Versa 2. It died without warning at 14 months. I am so disappointed in the quality. Fitbit offered me a 35 off coupon that did not work. These smart watches cost way too much money to only last a little over a year. The new models are even more money and the bands for the current model wont fit the new model because they are all redesigned. Some of my friends suggest this is a marketing ploy to get you to upgrade. Fitbit quality has gone downhill.

All I could ask for and more. I consider myself technologically challenged but found set up instructions easy to follow. There are several functions Im still to figure out but probably dont need. I love the fact that I can track the various routes I walk and be given the exact distance, time taken, heart rate and time in fat burn and cardio work out. Also a reminder when sedentary to get off my butt. Its great to be able to check my sleep pattern and keep tabs on calories in and calories out by logging the food I eat throughout the day, including water consumed. The battery appears to last for 4 days but I charge it every morning while I take a shower. Well worth the money and I highly recommend it.

Im so happy to have a Fitbit again. I havent had a functioning Fitbit since Summer 2017. As silly as it may sound, I needed this as motivation to be active. Ive been wearing it for 17 days so far and out of those 17 days Ive reached my 10,000 steps a day goal 15 times. If you need the motivation like I did, I highly suggest it. Fitbits technology has improved drastically over the years my old Fitbit was given to me secondhand, so it was from 2015. I love that it monitors your heart rate and how many floors youve climbed. I like how you can download different clocks pictures below. I highly recommend this

Im a little shocked at the bad reviews. Maybe I just dont expect as much as some. I was really excited to receive this Fitbit Versa 2 and so far I have really enjoyed having it. I received it quickly and the set up went pretty well. I just installed the app and followed the directions. If I did not understand something I watched a video. I wasnt interested in the Oxygen level so I guess that is one of the issues some are having. The watch is attractive and comfortable on my arm. It holds its charge very well. I like it that I dont have to worry about getting it wet. Granted, I am pretty much a novice in the world of trackers but for me this is working out well. I only gave 4 stars because its just been one week since I received it and only time will tell if I can give the 5th star.

Pros I love the design and how it looks more like a watch rather than a plain fitness tracker. The battery life is great, I like the colours available and the fact you can change the straps easily. Exercise tracking function is great and you can answer your phone from the phone and hook it up to Spotify etc and change the track via the device. Great value for money and the best fitness tracker Ive hadCons I was a bit disappointed after purchasing because I thought you could listen to Spotify via the device I.e sign in and then use Bluetooth headphones to listen via the device. BUT in actual fact you can change Spotify track via the watch but you still need to actually be Logged into your phone etc You can get music to be stored onto the device and play it directly via the watch without your phone but ive not explored that yet

Its very comfortable. When you wear the Versa 2, the weight is balanced enough that it doesnt bring any discomfort, and light enough to sometimes forget you have it on.The design is almost identical to an Apple Watch. With square rounded corners, its almost impossible to tell the difference if you had both of them side by side. I had no discomfort wearing this Fitbit when I slept and had no itchy feeling around my skin when I woke up. Overall, you can wear this all day without any issues. The screen has great contrast, vivid colors, and has excellent brightness. On a clear sunny day, I put this display to the test and it passed with flying color. Outstanding outdoor viewability

I received my Versa 2 back in January of this year and since then have had to replace the device because it had stopped syncing to my phone. It required an update, but I could not continue with the update because my device had unpaired itself from my phone and would not reconnect. I was in contact with customer service who tried to fix things on their end, but were unable to do so, so they sent me a replacement.Ive had my replacement device for less than three months, and I am having the SAME EXACT problem all over again. My watch will unsync itself from my phone, tell me that there is a software update, but will not update due to it not being synced. I am also unable to use the Alexa feature or receive my callstexts to my watch, which is extremely frustrating and inconvenient. I have done everything in my power to try to get it to connect to no avail, including doing a full reset on my watch. At this point all that my watch is good for is telling me the time. The step tracker is also extremely inaccurate. It will count 100 steps while Im sitting in my car on long drives.I am very disappointed with this watch and I would absolutely not recommend it to anybody. If you do decide to purchase this product, I highly recommend adding the insurance, because youre going to need it.

My last Fitbit was the Charge and I loved it. It was pretty seamless and good at what it tracked. When I heard the Versa 2 had Alexa built in, I was anxious to try it. Because of the reviews I read, I let my watch charge overnight and didnt bother really digging into it for another several hours after setup. My patience paid off, as everything worked pretty well right away, though it did take an extra day for Spotify and NY Times to start working. The watch itself is attractive and comfortable. I dont even realize Im wearing it and its not bulky. Ill eventually get a new band because I want one a little more work appropriate VS the rubber band it came with. Its super easy to wake up the watch, or you could have it always on but I figured that would drain the battery pretty fast. Actions are really easy and as soon as you get used to the menus for each swipe direction, its very intuitive. I have had no trouble at all getting texts from my Droid and its awesome to be able to read the whole message and respond. Having Alexa on my wrist is incredible I use the shopping and to do list functionality all the time to save room for more important things in my brain. So having constant access is amazing. The only cons so far Spotify doesnt seem to have much functionalitypurpose yet. Also Ive had sync issues a few times already, which is annoying considering I never had problems with my Charge. Overall Im very happy with the value Im getting for 199 and hopeful the app store will get more apps to make my life easier.

I received this from my husband as a gift. I was hesitant to use because it felt like a unnecessary gadget. But once I got the hang of it I fell in love with. It motivates me to move around and walk and to do exercise. Before this I was doing some light exercise but this has helped me track it down easily. I received this in the beginning of the year and after about 8 months or so I can say that it works well but there are some glitches on it. App is easy to use. If you are looking for something similar to the apple watch but dont want to put so much money into these kind of devices. This is a great alternative. Its obviously not as accurate as the apple watch but it works just as well. I use mine mostly to exercise and keep that on track. Dont really use the other things. So for me its perfect. Just depends on the person and what they want.

It worked great the first several days, however it was during thanksgiving and I wasnt really paying attention to it or trying to use the full features. Spotify, which played a huge role in my decision, is really just a marketing ploy. I have spotify premium so it works and thats as far as it goes. For example, if you want to do fitness tracking such as a run then you cant control your music like, skipping the song, putting it on shuffle, etc. If you want to control your music during your runworkout you have to pause the workout find your Spotify app, then skipchoose a song, go back to your workout hit resume, and your back at it. Raise your hand if you like pausing in the middle of your run to select a song, nobody Me neither. Thats why fitbits ability to play Spotify, in my opinion, is just a marketing ploy because its function is absolutely bare minimum at best.Fitbits minimum functionality with Spotify is worth a 2 star deduction for me because I imagined not needing my phone to control my music and not having to choose whether I want my fitbit to track my run or if I want to control my music. Furthermore, I am deducting 1 more star because in the last 4 days my watch is having syncing issues with my galaxy s10. Which means you cant use spotify when this happens. The first day I troubleshoot the problem myself and basically unpaired the versa 2 from my phone and fitbit app, cleared the cache from my phone, then redid setup process and that fixed it for 24 hours. Then the problem happened again so I called customer support. They were friendly and said they were having issues with this and had engineers on it, give them 24 hours I did and most the next day it was working again until I was ready for my workout and could not get watch to sync which means no run tracking or anything of the sort as it needs to be connected to your phone for those features. So I called again, and they ran me through the troubleshooting process that was exactly like I did the first day and lo and behold it worked…. until the next day which is today. There was an update today but my phone could not sync with watch in order to update it. I call again and same exact troubleshooting method and it works. I ask, will I have to do this every day to get my watch to work The customer service rep assured me that I would not have to. I hope he is right. What am I left with I am left with a pedometer that is connected to a community that my family belongs to. Everything else is letting me down, including the sleep tracker, which 3 out of 4 of the last days hasnt given me a sleep score or hasnt tracked my different sleep cycles which is a really cool feature. Basically Im giving Fitbit 4 more days to convince me to keep it and all it has to do is stay synced with my phone for the majority of the time I know nothing works 100 I just need it to work when I need it to and not have to troubleshoot for 30 minutes before I go on a runworkout. If not then I will be returning this watch a long with the 3 other fitbit watches that I bought for my family because if the watch isnt good enough for me, its not good enough for me to give to someone.

It works okay. The tracker is finicky and inaccurate quite a bit. The sleep feature is nice enough. I didnt think Id want or need Premium but since there was a free trial I got it. I set up an alert to remember to cancel in case I didnt want it. I didnt get the alert or maybe I missed it. I really dont know. All I do know is that I was charged for the Premium and tried to cancel and get my money back and got a BIG FAT MIDDLE FINGER from Fitbit. I explained I didnt use or want the service and that it was a terrible mistake. They were pretty adamant and could care less. They didnt even offer to maybe track my activities to see that I was being honest. Nope. Bottom line We dont offer refunds on active subscriptions. That subscription fee was not in my budget so needless to say I found myself in a pickle.A very expensive mistake.

I really wanted to love this watch but its plagued with unfixed bugs. The following list of bugs have been widely reported on the fitbit community forums for the last 2 months as of Jan 25, 2020 and nothing has been done. Water ml logging conversion bug Weight lbs logging conversion bug Firmware update loop bug Spotify log out bug Battery draining while powered off Watch faces being stuckI had all these issues, but also struggled with really inconsistent notifications and the watch needed to be restarted multiple times per day to keep things working correctly.Overall, great build quality, great hardware, awesome battery life, but the softwarefirmware is absolutely terrible. Hopefully the Google acquisition will see some proper coders come in and iron things out.I for one didnt want to wait and worried maybe these watches will get backburnered or forgotten with the transition, in favor of new projects.I returned mine after 30 days and spent the extra on a Active 2. Much much better product IMO.

Pros This is a really good fitness and smart watch In one with accurate step tracking and sleep. Its really easy to record work out with the app and there are even free workouts Available which are really effective. Theres a variety of clock faces which makes it personalised and the layout is easy to use always. The charge is good with about 4 days of constant use before needing a charge.Cons Nothing to complain about, the set up was a little long but thats only because my watch was slow when connecting to my WiFi however once set up its done everything I could have wanted and more. Box was slightly damaged but most likely due to the busy post.

I initially loved the smartwatch. During my workouts, the watch was accurate with steps, but HR displayed was around 90. I had almost passed out on the floor from being out of breath. So there was no way the 90 was correct for my HR. The next day at work, I stepped over 1500 steps while SITTING AT MY DESK not moving at all. Was disappointed because I want to ensure that I have accurate steps accounted for daily. Seems to count arm movement, even when you are not walking. I tried it out for 6 days, and just returned it this afternoon.

My husband bought this watch for me for my birthday. I had been wanting one for awhile but didnt want to spend the money. The first day I got it I could not connect it to bluetooth. I had to go through the Fitbit chat service and have the watch reset. A BRAND NEW WATCH After finally getting it to connect to bluetooth it worked great and I had no issues with it. I loved it. But recently the watch required a software update and I have had nothing but issues with it since. It will not stay connected to bluetooth and now I am having issues connecting to Wifi. I have had to connect to the fitbit chat multiple times to troubleshoot these issues and though it temporarily gets resolved its not a permanent resolution. Also found out that the watch is sometimes compatable with my Motorola One Action Android phone. I wish I would have gone with a different watch. This one has been disapointing

I bought this for my wife last Christmas since it was something she really wanted in order to track fitness and such. For that, it does a great job, especially for the price of the watch. One caveat is that, at the time, we were both new to smart watches.Fast forward a couple of months and the big guy me had a little cash to burn and decided to buy a companion for my new Galaxy phone. I was instantly in love with the watch the Galaxy and blown away with how it well it integrated with my shiny new phone. Why couldnt my wifes Versa 2 do the same stuff Well, it turns out that my wife does NOT like reading stuff or looking tech info up, so much of it could actually be done with the Versa. For example, she didnt know you could change the main watch screen. Both devices do this, but it is far more native on the galaxy, and there are several other situations similar to this.Bottom line both watches are similar and, at the same pricepoint, both are worth considering. I dont think youll be disappointed with this watch.

    1. The design is identical to an Apple Watch. And thats why its called the Apple Watch of Android.2. The screen has excellent contrast and brightness. Stunning viewing capability on sunny day outside.3. AlwaysOnDisplay is simply amazing.4. Its comfortably light weighted.5. Fitbit is great in analyzing your health related data.6. Various Thirdparty apps are coming forward for Fitbit interfaces like Spotify, Uber, Starbucks etc. Its no full but have a potential consider Googles acquisition.7. There is no speaker. Alexa cant prompt answer to your questions, instead it answers in text.8. This one is claimed to be waterproof.9. Some other features like the Relax app, movement reminders and step counters are all very useful. There are other exercises and work out trackers also.10. The other heath features like activity trackers, heart rate, distance travel, calories burned are all mostly accurate and effective. Fitbit made it very userfriendly.11. one should easily get around 3 days of battery life. May be more if on low usage.

I got 2 of these watches one for me and my boyfriend and both have acted up within the first 6 months of having them. Good thing is we bought the protection plan. His was blinking out like an old tv screen would , and I have had nothing but problems with mine keeping track of my heart rate during exercising. His also messes up during exercise. When you reposition it on your wrist during exercise you will get different readings. We have had to stop several times also during bike rides because of heart rate not working, and not picking up our location to track how far we went. I wouldnt recommend these watches. I am getting ready to make a claim on mine. My heart rate is over 160s within a few minutes on the elliptical the watch has been going to 140s then all the sudden drop down to 85. Im tired of the watch these were a waste of money. Also the stairs are never accurate. The only thing I find to be quite accurate is the steps you take, and the sleeping tracker. If your using this for exercising look into something else.

Not real sure how to give the stars here. Ive used the various Fitbit watches for years now and havent had any major problems except to upgrade. I have still have my old Versa watch hoping it would come back alive and it wont charge at all. As for this Versa 2. I have a lot to say, and wished this could have been handled appropriately by the company rather than having to choose to a rating. I rate the majority of people I purchase from as some companies may not be as large, may be new, etc. Excellent ratings I send way far more than anything you read from this. There are times when you have to look beyond how things have always been done. Seeking new and creative solutions to the unique and sometimes not so unique customer requests or problems. Taking care of, teaching, maintaining a place of employment that gives people joy and will do anything to try to work for you is how many companies survive these days. Fitbit is a quality watch and stands up to others in its own unique way. My new one could have been a fluke. However, I wasnt the only person to taking this particular watch back. Its disappointing especially from those review companies who are delivering an enormous marketing campaign with the biggest issue in any watch, how long the battery lasts and this watch is said to be on average use put to 5 days. Mine didnt last overnight.Pros and ConsAffordableAesthetically pleasing for either gender, but look closer, Apple Smartwatch knockoff with quality ahead of the cheaper watchesIntuitive interfaceYou can store music on it about 300 songs from your desktop Fitbit app, have to load WiFi only, no option for wired connectionIt offers sleep tracking and I think O2Spotify if you buy the subscription, streaming to Bluetooth earphones you have to have your watch with youAlexa integration is absolutely useless due to voice recognition and search findingsGreat Fitness watch, but consider receiving information from this tracker you have to pay a monthly subscription to Fitbit Premium, so yes its not that expensive but for a year of premium I believe it was somewhere around 12.99 per month. Add that 156 to your watch and you could have purchased the Fitbit 3Well craftedLight weightHeart rate monitorSlightly bigger batteryFitbit PayNavigation was okay, some animations stuttered a littleOther nice featuresHowever, the point that I became completely disappointed was a brand new Versa 2 the copper one and those wristbands silicone Im allergic to so had to pay an additional 35 for a leather one. I placed it on the charger many hours later booted it up, recognized with app Fitbit. I played around and read about the things it could do and was really excited and curious just how well the sleep accuracy would be since Im qualified in that area of health technology. Woke up the next morning, and so you know I do not have healthy sleep hygiene as we call it. No regular time to get in bed, routine getting out. I looked down at the watch DEAD BATTERY I was considerate and tried another night. Same thing fully charged and the next morning Dead Battery. So for those people that discuss and rate how wonderful the lifetime on their battery is, sometimes up to a week. Straight up wrong. I tried for 1 whole day which shouldnt have been even 23 hours and even at that its still in my eyes poor customer service. I tried the chat option 2 different people. Both girls immediately upon answering the call and knowing the problem was a battery or no hold charge stated hold on I got to get somebody to answer that. I waited with the 1st support tech over 20 minutes she disconnected. All this is on Chat service. I tried again, different support gal. Exactly the same answer word for word. Waited 30 minutes and she cut me off. Went at it again. I do not appreciate any company that has poor tech support and no obvious interest in making support staff is educated on these products. That company should also be 200 behind the products they offer. Or dont try to copy anothers great product to benefit yourself to stay or keep up with said competitors. This last girl support tech didnt just disconnect, she made the system reroute chat requests to a beautiful hiking mountain scene that said they were not available. Phone numbers beats me, tried. I know we all are doing our best during this pandemic, but the very least that should have been done was for someone to either email me, phone me, discuss the problem, troubleshoot the problem Never happened. I immediately took it back for a full refund. I didnt get an Apple, for any smart one out there that wants to tell me to purchase a better quality watch in their eyes. I did review the Galaxy top notch in my opinion, no extra paying for subscriptions, leave your phone in the car, oh dang, nope wait my new watch gets the call, texting and emails and music without that extra phone I would have to tote around. So my opinion is only 1 out of many and would never had occurred if the tech support di pd the job they were hired and paid to do. However, Im a big and loyal fan of Walt Disney philosophy and values. I learned this through my husbands job with Lexus and they had training through Disney company trainers. It made so much sense and was the easiest thing to do in running a company. Everybody must be sharing a common purpose as soon as they walk in the door to work, but before they come in contact with the guests or customers for some companies. Instead of first providing the technical skills they need to do they need to complete the tasks of their role in the company. Its sort of like knowing and understanding the Big Picture of their purpose. This is empowering every worker and once they feel this and the more they engage in it. Walt Disney has many wonderful quotes and Ill leave with this, The flower that blooms in adversity is the most rare and beautiful of all. Sometimes a customer has a complaint. Handled well, that moment of misery becomes a moment of magic. And, if really handled properly, the customer may even have more confidence about you because of the way you handled the situation than they might have if the problem hadnt happened at all.

I saw this on my tv ads It convinced me to buy It so I bought it for my daughter since her one broke Its fantastic does everything what it tells it to do. But the alarm sometimes gets 15 minutes later but thats fine. Very easy to set up. She loves all the clock faces, there is so much to choose from I also bought her the special edition very worth she loves switching it around so it matches her outfit. The one thing I love about this watch is the sleep monitor I can see how well she slept. Definitely recommend this product The Battery life is also amazing It last to 4 days so not needed to waste so much electricity while charging.

This is an upgrade from my previous Fitbit. I really like the rose gold color watch body and pink band. The functionality of this Fitbit is pretty great. My previous model pretty much had to be controlled through the app on my phone. You can actually do quite a bit just with the touch screen of the Fitbit. You can set alarms and timers and program specific workouts pretty easily. I dont do any texting over the Fitbit but I think you can do quick replies Not sure. Very happy with this.

I have had many smart watches and many fitness trackers and I like this one the most so far. Most others I only use for a day or two and it sits on my shelf, but this one, I have been wearing regularly since I purchased it.First, unlike other smart watches, it is very light and comfortable on my wrist for long periods of time.Second, the battery life is amazing. I always hated having to charge it everyday. I literally can go 5 days without a charge, and charging is very quick too. Most days, I charge it when I am in the shower and the 10 min 15 min showers in the morning is enough to top it up.There are a decent number of simple apps, like Google Authenticator, Calendar, Barcodes, calculator and a few others that I use.Configuring the information on the app then having it push to the watch was somewhat cumbersome. I sometimes have to restart the phone and the watch to get it to properly sync, but once I do that, it seems to work for a good while.I dont really mess with the Configs much.Over all, I like it. I do wish I have the ECG app, which was the main reason i bought it, but it seems to not be available in the US. Europe has one. I hope it will become available here.Overall happy with the purchase.

I purchased this watch about a 2week ago and I love it. Thought Id upgrade from the Charge2 which is still a brilliant model. At first I wasnt keen on the versa2 design as the watch face looked too big bulky. To my surprise, it sits nicely on my wrist, its light weight and now really love the design e.g. simple, elegant, smooth and of course all the cool features e.g. colour screen, apps etc. Things you should know before purchasing, is that the battery will not last 4 days if youre someone who needs to have the screen on always, have screen brightness highnormal, receive notifications, almost using it like a phone, etc which all drain battery power. If you use all of that, the battery will last 2days at most. I have since changed my settings to maximise power and now, lasts a 4 to 5 days. Of course it all depends on how you are using the watch itself, so these are things you need to consider. Overall Im pretty happy with this purchase. I did do a bit of research first, comparing this versa model the new Fitbit watches now on the market and after reading reviews I decided this model looked like the best for me and it hasnt disappointed.

My husband had been tracking his steps with his smartphone until last year when I told him I was getting him a Fitness tracker for Christmas. After a little research we decided upon the Fitbit brand. The only thing he didnt care for was the obvious neoprene looking band. When he saw the stylish look of the Special Edition he was sold. It paired perfectly with his Samsung Galaxy 9 phone and because it is a smartwatch, it is so much more than just a fitness tracker. He loves the handiness of receiving texts and emails on his watch as well as the weekly emails from Fitbit giving him an update on his steps, virtual awards, etc. The encouragement received push him to do a little more. He started at 6,000 to 8,000 stepsday and is currently at 20,00021,000 stepsday. He doesnt wear the watch to sleep in so he recharges it nightly along with his phone. At this point he has had no problems and still loves his watch

I love my FitBit Versa 2 in rose gold. It is so pretty and comfortable, even to sleep with It keeps track of my heart rate, sleep, flights of stairs although not always accurate, distance, steps, and so much more. I get to choose and customize my clock face. You can set alarms, timers, reminders, and more. You can set goals and compete against yourself or a friend with a FitBit. I even have an app where I get to collect coins and unlock things based on the number of steps I do. I have yet to use it at the gym, since I havent gone due to COVID. It charges quickly. There is only 1 things I dont like about it. I hate that I have to open up the app on my phone to sync. I wish it just did that automatically. I barely sync for this reason. I recommend this smart watchfitness tracker.

So this is my 3rd Fit product. I had a charge 2 and about 18 months ago got a charge 3. I bought the Versa 2 to replace the 3 as the watch became useless after the last firmware update that darkened the screen in the normal mode so you could not see it outside in the sun. I wanted to keep with fit as I have a family group that we all keep motivated using the Fit application. I purchased a Versa2 for my daughter for Christmas and it is still working. I did buy the 2 year warranty from fitbit , so hopping I dont need to find out if they will honor it if it fails early like my first 2 Fit watches. the band is picky where you place the strap loop.

This is my 4th Fitbit product and each one has been better than the last. Everything works exactly as promised and this is a high quality product. The only issue is the wrist band. It is a softer silicone material than the previous watches. I think they wanted it it to be more comfortable but its a fail. I wore my watch playing basketball and the bad snapped off on the long side. I was wearing a wrist band over the watch to prevent from getting it snagged on another player and to prevent from scratching anyone with it. Even with it covered the wrist band just snapped from normal play in a non contact sport.I pulled my old wrist band off my Versa 1 and replaced the half of the band that snapped. Fast forward to 2 days later and the exact same thing happened again to the short strap made of the same soft silicone. Fortunately I had my old watch band but this is a real failure. The band completely snapped after only having it for 3 weeks.Fortunately I had an available replacement. The stock wrist band is only good for runners and walkers. If you are doing something more than running or walking I would order an aftermarket band.Other than that the watch is a great value and a great product otherwise.

I love this watch. My previous fitbit was the narrow one and did not have as many functions as this one. This one is so much more comfortable on my wrist plus its cuter if that matters to you. I started a healthy living plan and wanted to track my activity, steps, and sleep and this is perfect. I really have not tried the other functions yet with Alexa but I know it does have these options. So far I love it. The narrower, less expensive version of the fitbit really hurt my wrist and sat on my wrist bone in an uncomfortable way which was very bothersome considering I sleep in it as well. This one sits farther back on the wrist and the shape of it comforms better as well somehow. It says in the intro when you turn it on that the comfort level is just what your wrist has been waiting for so I am guessing others have had the same issues with comfort. This one is so worth the extra money. I am happy with it. I hope this helps with your purchase.

Ive been using a samsung watch active for 12 months after previously having a fitbit but decided i wanted to go back to using the fitbit coach and i loved the rose colour of the Versa 2. I was torn between the Versa 2 and Versa 3 as Versa 3 is a newer version but the only difference i could see was that the versa 3 has built in GPS however i take my phone running etc anyway so that didnt really bother me and the Versa 2 was 75 cheaper at sale price. The 1st week i had it i almost sent back because i still felt my samsung was a better smart watch however i just love the fitbit coach which you get with Premium at 7.99 a month and to be honest with not paying for gym or anything else i thought it was well worth the money.I think if youre not bothered about built in GPS or just want the updated version this watch is perfect for the price Ive only given it 4 stars because i would like to just be able to download a watch face from the app to the phone but you have to unlock codes from a website and its too much faff so i just had a free one but other than that I love it

my wife loved this watch, but there were deal breakers. but first the goodthe amazon Alexa feature is amazing. she loved this feature. it recognized everything and is continually improving. she was able to use it to do many things that improved her experience without having to go to her phone.the fitness aspects are really good.she liked changing the faces of the watch. her favorite allowed her to put her own photos on the face of the watch and it was a free watch face.she loved how big the square face was. she was able to read her texts very clearly and proofread any text she made by voice easily, she said it was truly comfortable and she didnt realize she was wearing it.the next observation could be good or bad depending on your view. she said it isnt a complicated device. while there are very useful apps you can use, it didnt overwhelm her with options.the Samsung Galaxy Active watch, the one we went with, has almost every feature from the Galaxy Note phone built into it. Its like a wrist remote for you Galaxy phone. Because of this, the Galaxy watch has a learning that, depending on how tech savvy you may be, can be intimidating. The BadBecause we are not always working out, the work productivity of the Versa falls short a bit when compared to the Galaxy Active Watch. For example, the Galaxy Watch has access to your entire contact list. You can send a voice to text to any contact from your watch. We could not find that option in the Versa. If changing your music is a big deal, you better have Spotify, Pandora or music you own downloaded to your phone. We could not change the music using Amazon Music. This was perplexing since Alexa played such a key part of the watch. It would not work with Apple Music either. This was the major deal breaker for my wife. however, it is a great fitness watch. I would recommend it to a friend, but with the above mentioned caveats. However, if those issues for us we mentioned are not important to you, we would recommend it. however we chose the Galaxy Active. Bixby is no Alexa. It is improving, but it is a ways off at this point.

It tracks as it should and theres a new feature to find your phone. It is waterproof I have accidentally went it to the shower with it several times. Several useful apps like storing your payment, starbucks, spotify, weather if youre into any of those. Have mone for aa little over a year now. My biggest gripe is the bands that come with it. Theyre a silicone material and that means it can store moisture under the band qnd thay can cause a rash. Sometimes the little band that keeps the watch in place keeps moving. The little band on mine broke and now I have a runberband in place until I get a new band.

Ive had my Fitbit for about a year took a photo of mine after 1 year of heavy usage and while its not perfect, it has a lot of advantages over other competitive products such as the Apple Watch. One of the biggest considerations is the battery life, mine can last nearly a week under one complete charge. The Apple Watch is known for requiring to be charged after a day of use and definitely would not last two days. I like knowing that I can sleep with the watch and not have to charge it every night because I can monitor my sleep. I use the watch to measure exercise, such as running, cycling and swimming and it does this relatively well, it does undercount the number of steps, however. The build of the base face of the watch has lasted but the wristband didnt last the entire year, it did break off. Fitbit did send me a new band to replace it so the customer service is great. Overall, comparing price with functionality and quality, the versa 2 is a top choice product. Versa 3, Sense and Apple Watch might have more bells and whistles but it may not be worth the additional cost if youre not need more than just something to monitor basic vitals, exercise, sleep, and of course, time.

I am going to keep this short. I do not recommend this watch. The whole Alexa connectivity feature doesnt work 90 of the time. And when it does its only after resetting and resyncing everything and then it will work for a few hours and the process has to be repeated. Its ability to sync is sporadic too. There are some good features about this watch that just about any smart watch has today, but not enough to put up with the frustrations that go along with it, in my opinion when there are what I imaging more reliable products on the market. I generously give this product and overall two start rating. I wish I had never bought it.

I am so happy with this smart watch. I have been wanting a smart watch but havent wanted to spend the money. This watch is amazing.Setting the watch up was simple. Once you download the app to your phone it walks you thru everythingThe battery life is loooooonnnnngggggggg. I have worn this watch for over a week already and still do not need to recharge itThis watch does show how many steps Ive taken, and it also shows miles walked for day and calories burned. It also rolls up your week. For details longer than a week out, just go to the app on your phone and you can see the historyIt is set to take my heart rate continuously. Im given a notification when i hit my goal of steps and miles. I can set the watch by type of activity Im doing run, bike, hike, elliptical and so on.The watch is able to control the music volume on my phone. I have set the watch to give notifications when i have an incoming call. I can read all my text messages on the watch. I can read my WhatsApp messages on the watch as well as any Facebook notificationI am able to set up email notifications but i have not done so due to the enormous amount of emails i get work and my wrist would be vibrating all day long. The watch does show me how i slept YIKES…now i fully understand why Im so tired all the time. It tells you how long you were in a deep sleep versus light sleep versus awake.I am able to control the brightness of the screen and the watch does give you options of several different watch faces.I highly recommend this watch

This is a great fitness tracker if you want to try to be more active. It can help you stay on top of your exercise and eating goals. The app is designed very well and looks very nice. The watch lasts about a week on a full charge more or less depending on how active you are. The charging cradle is not annoying to use either like some of the older FitBit models. The heart rate monitoring seems to be pretty accurate for being wrist based. For the price I paid this a great value so far. I would recommend getting screen protectors to protect the watch from getting scratched. There are endless 3rd party bands you can buy as well that work great with the Versa 2. If you are using this purely for fitness tracking you cant go wrong with this watch. If you have an android phone you can use your voice to reply to messages from your watch or make preset quick replies. Overall a great product.

Bought this for my wife for her birthday. She has owned several smart watches over the years and loves them. She said this is the best one she has ever owned Guess I did good I bought the Special Edition Fitbit Versa 2 in iron mist. I like it better than black and the great thing is, the Special Edition came with two bands, one rubber and one cloth. The nice thing is the Special Edition was only 2.00 more the the standard version. It does everything flawlessly and holds a charge for 34 days, a huge improvement over previous versions. The screen is crisp and bright and is almost photo like. I would definitely recommend this smart watch.

I bought this a few weeks ago and I have no regrets and the customer service from Dicks sporting goods was amazing. I previously had the Fitbit flex and wanted to upgrade because Im a busy mom. With the old Fitbit flex I always had to get my phone and bring up the Fitbit app to check stats etc. which while I was walking and wanted to know how many more steps I needed to reach my goal I had to stop the exercise part on the ap and restart everything just to see how many steps I had. So annoying and one of the biggest reasons I wanted to upgrade to this watch. I love how everything is right on the display. So when Im walking I just check the display and I can see where Im at on my step count. I also synced it to my phone so now if I get a text or call Im alerted through the watch which is amazing because I always have my phone kept up away from my toddlers and now I dont haven to worry about missing an important text. It lays really well on my arm and doesnt bother me and Im using the smaller band option. I really love how theres so many watch interfaces you can chose from for the display its so fun to pick and chose and change it up. If youre on the fence about whether or not you should get this watch I say go for it. I was hesitant to upgrade to the Versa 2 at first but I seriously love it The heartbeat feature is also amazing and I even wear it to bed for the sleep monitor and it doesnt bother me at all or keep me up at night and has a do no disturb option so nothing alerts you through the night. It also has different brightness levels. This would make a great gift for yourself or someone you know who enjoys their fitness or trying to be healthier. My review isnt any kind of paid review or anything like that. Just wanted to share how much I really love this watch. Im one who reads reviews before I purchase anything online and enjoy when theres actually informative reviews when Im looking into something and I looked into this watch a lot. So hopefully this review helps someone else.

Having recently been diagnosed with a significant health problem which requires some aggressive medication I felt my fitness generally could do with improvement after 70 plus years doing very little. I confine myself to a couple of brisk walks a day and the watch really has encouraged me to achieve targets, to get out of the chair at regular intervals. Without it, I would have lost interest in yet another pointless walk.I must confess that I suspected beforehand that the sleep analysis would be a weak point of the watch. As a long term insomniac it was something of interest to me, but it assumes if you are just lying quietly in bed listening to the radio you are enjoying light sleep and records it as such. I dont see how anything other than a complex lab setup could really differentiate.I am very pleased I bought it.

I owned a Fit it Versa Special Edition when those came out, now I have the all new Versa 2 Special Edition. The new version of Versa operates pretty much the same as always. The new display is crisper and sharper than before. Easily seen in bright sunshine. It has Alexa built in. Always On display if you prefer having the watch face just stay on. You can now actually store a few of you FAV watch faces right on the watch itself if you feel like switching them according to Where Im going later I can have a business or workout type face during the day, and switch over to something more fun for later on. Just have your phone nearby to sync while youre getting ready to go. All day heart rate. Even has a Female monthly tracker for the Ladies. Those are a few of the really cool things about this new, upgraded device. I hate to put a negative spin on something this good, and it really isnt a negative. It is more of a Wish, albeit a very heartfelt wish More and more companies are incorporating BP technology into their fitness devices in this day and age. It really kind of puzzles me that Fit it has not yet found a way to include Blood Pressure reading tech into certainly one of their Flagship devices in 2020. BP, ECG, O2, etc are available in a variety of devices on the market today, and some do a very nice, accurate job. I really think Fitbit needed to include BP tech into a brand new upgraded device. That being said, its a great device, Im glad I own one, I would encourage anyone to definitely get one because I believe the Versa 2 is a great fitness device.

I owned the original Fitbit Versa and used it constantly for almost 2 years straight before I wore it out. I already knew that I wanted this to be my next watch when I needed to replace the previous one. Its even better than the previous version. I love it and use it more than any other possession I have. I get tons of compliments on it, as well. I couldnt be happier with this purchase. I primarily use the workout functions but I appreciate its versatility, as well. I loved it so much, I convinced my husband to change from his Apple watch to a Fitbit Versa 2 he agrees this was an upgrade

The watch looks good, bright easy to read in sunlight. It seems like a wonderful fitness tracker, but it feels more like a feature watch than a smart watch. It said on the key specs that the operating system is Android on the watch, so I expected that my phone apps that had wear OS apps would install them on the watch. But it seems that you are locked into apps provided in the Fitbit app store. They are mostly fitness apps of some sort. Its nice being able to reply to texts from the watch, but once you reply the message is gone. You cannot go back, add another reply or initiate a message. That ability would make it a smart watch. I would recommend to someone looking for a fitness oriented watch, but I would recommend they look some place else for a smart watch.

Had it for 3 days and taking to return. It does not pick up steps hardly at all Which is the whole reason I use these watches , to set a daily step goal. The Inspire HR tracked my steps PERFECTLY But unfortunately, my inspire stopped working after 1 year. Im still buying another inspirer because this one is useless to me. Also, it does not give me text notifications yes my settings are correct and it does not log water It miscalculated the fl oz and freezes every time.

My Fitbit Versa 1 was great, other than the part that holds the band in place did break eventually but I just ordered cheap replacement bands on Amazon. My daughter was in needwant of a Fitbit for cross country so I decided to give her mine and then upgrade. I decided on the Fitbit Versa 3 but ended up returning it within in 2 months because multiple times the text messages stop working. I researched Apple Watch instead but ended back with Fitbit again but the time purchased the Fitbit Versa 2. So far no issues with not receiving text messages or anything so no complaints and again the 1st one still works

Best Fitbit yet, Looks great, the battery lasts a week or more. And it is the easiest Fitbit to use.Previously I had the Charge series and loved them excluding the 3 When I upgraded to the Versa 2, I made the move because I hated the charge 3.I have been blown away in every possible way. The way the screen comes up when you lift your arm works perfectly. Its a small thing but I see other small watches try and fail to do this basic feature.I bought a watch face that shows battery and outside tempAlso, did I mention Alexa, I use Alexa often for research and measurement math, But if Im out in the yard I dont have an echo nearby, the versa 2 has it builtin. I only hope that it doesnt get disabled by the google buyout of Fitbit.

I really like the look and features of this device. I got it so that I could upgrade from my FitBit Blaze, and it definitely feels like it. The unfortunate part is that some of the features dont work. It is supposed to be able to sync to my Pandora andor Deezer account so I dont need my phone to play music during a workout. However, have not been able to get that to work. I still havent gotten around to seeing if it will display my messages as they come to my phone, but hopefully that works. I like that it charges very quickly 30 min and the battery lasts about 23 days. It also has a very professional look to it, and often gets mistaken for an Apple Watch. Overall, I am happy with the purchase.

Bought this to replace an original FitBit Flex acquired in Oct 2014 which had finally expired.I am very pleased with the purchase. The Versa 2 offers so much more over the old Flex not surprisingly. Being able to see an exact count of steps and other metrics on the display is a welcome benefit over the 5 LEDs on the Flex. I use it with an iPhone 6 and although one or two features such as replying to a text only work with Android phones, I dont find this at all limiting. The heart beat monitoring feature is great and gives a more comprehensive sleep analysis. The Walk exercise mode uses the GPS from the phone to record a track of the route taken and the phone app shows this on a map. Much to my surprise I find the ability to get email, SMS and other notifications to my wrist very useful.During lock down this purchase has motivated me to get out every day and meet my exercise goals. This edition comes with two wrist bands, an olive silicone one and a smarter woven band.

Ive had my eye on this for a while, but felt it was a bit pricey when there were cheaper alternatives out there. When I found it on sale, I decided to splurge a little and get it after all, and Im SO glad I did I love this little gadget I like that Its also helped keep me motivated to work out, since I can track my sessions and see the results for myself right away. Pros Extremely customizable. You can customize nearly everything about it, from the band, to the watch face and even the body. You can just pop a different color safety case on and boom, its whatever color and style you want it to be You can even design your own watch face, if youre the creative type. Touch screen is very responsive and menus are intuitive and easy to get the hang of Battery lasts several days usually about four even with continuous use, and it charges quickly Sleep tracker and fitness apps help motivate you to stay healthy Easily get your texts, emails, phone calls, alarms, weather and app notifications without having to take out your phone Alexa is convenient to have if you have a quick question you need answered Cons No blood pressure monitoring even some of the very cheap alternatives have this feature Music apps such as Spotify, Pandora, or Amazon Music onlywork if you have subscriptions to them and you cant use your phones music app to access local music on your phone. Thats the only real disappointment Ive found in this watch Overall, Im super satisfied with the Versa 2, and though I feel there are small things here and there that can be improved, I definitely recommend it

I started with a Fitbit Charge 2 a few years ago to help with tracking my exercise, calories burned and calorie intake. I really enjoyed using the Charge 2 and Fitbit app, very useful for helping with my weight loss and fitness goals. Even though Im an Apple user, when it was time to upgrade to smartwatch I felt like the Versa2 was the best fit for me since I like using the Fitbit app. So far it has not disappointed Love having the full color display it is a lot easier to read compared to the Charge 2 interface. Battery life is pretty good for a smartwatch. I dont use most of the apps, although I like having the weather app and music apps available.

At age 85, my primary care physician decided he was going to get me well into the 90s and assigned me to daily walks, exercise and dietary restrictions. I had an old fitbit, but needed some of the newer features and purchased this watch. Good price. In stock. Easy setup. Loads of great Apps, many of which I havent even had the time to try as yet. Specifically, the Fitbit app covers just about every need to keep track of diet and exercise. I really enjoy the music on Spotify and also switch off to books on audible when it suits my day. Notes help me remember when I shop and phone calls and messages alert me when they come in. I am more than satisfied. Sales personnel at the store were great, paying close attention to safety and personal service for this old geezer as well.

I use Hangouts, Facebook messaging, and Verizon text messaging. I called Fitbit customer service and was told that the watch can only ever get notifications from ONE messaging app. Just one. And Verizon messages dont work with Fitbit at all, so I definitely couldnt get text messages from the nanny of our medically fragile child. This watch is incredibly hard to setup. I am not a genius, but people around me ask me when they have trouble with their devices and I can usually figure it out. My husband is a software engineer. Neither of us could figure out how to turn notifications on at all I had to call customer service for that. Its not intuitive at all and the setup process gives you tips, but not the tips you really need to get setup. If you Google how do I get messages on my fitbit versa 2, you will get lost in an avalance of people who tired 1,000 things already and still cant get notifications, just like me. Its a huge red flag. Its a cute watch. It looks great. But, looking great isnt enough. I need basic functions such as receiving text messages for a watch I just paid 200 for… seriously…. what was Fitbit thinking with this thing

Pros Great tracker Used fitbits for years and think theyre great Versa 2 definitely tracks more reliably. I like the fact it has a Spotify app too as I often control the music coming through my Alexa when in a different room of the house with just a tap of the wrist. Also love the different clock faces you can haveLovely stylish design and fits comfortably.Cons Said this for years but wish they had a rotate face option. Only thing I feel that lets it down and shocked theyve not put it in yet as Ive put it on there site and seen so many other people comment the same or like my comment on the fitbit community. Im right handed so wear it on my left but the activation button is also on the left. This should be on the right for right handed people. Im now completely used to it and as Ive had one for years and as mentioned it is a great tracker but still think it should be an option.

So my wife loves Fitbit, she loves it more than the apple watch, it is extremely simple to use, and gives exactly what she wants, so to her it is a perfect watchfitness band…. and to top it it off it has her Starbucks card right on it. So if is closer to describing you, youll probably love it and shouldnt read any further on and youll probably heavily disagree with my rating….now to my opinion…Its not great, I am using it because my wife wants me to use a Fitbit, I came from a Gear s3 and I really miss just about everything on that compared to this. The screen is not as responsive as Id like, you cant download Spotify playlists straight to the phone, the Bluetooth doesnt connect consistently which means I cant use it to keep my phone unlocked, notifications will just stop until I turn my Bluetooth off and then on again on my phone Ive traced this back to it connecting to my galaxy buds and have learned to live with notifications not working while I work out and then reset the Bluetooth, the auto wake feature is more consistent since the last update but sometimes Ill have to shake my wrist a few time. Pretty much when I compare this to a 3 year old watch I find this lacking as a smart watch but I need a Fitbit and this is the best that they have and I really dislike the idea of having two smart devices on my wrist. I would love to see Fitbit either get with it and make a decent smartwatch and I would love to go back to a round watch or make a paid app on Samsung watches. I know google owns Fitbit and Wear OS is decent if not as good as Samsungs so maybe put the Fitbit on Wear OS Anything other than this please. From a more techie person that is trying to get fit and share a platform with his wife… please please deliver a decent product for those people that actually use their smartwatches. As to if I would recommend this to a friend… Im going to mark yes because yes I would recommend it to some friends… if you think you align towards someone like my wife that hates complex tech and just want your stuff to work then id recommend it for you if think of yourself as a techie and dont have a i need a fitbit need I wouldnt recommend it.

Biggest problem is Fitbit app. The sync just doesnt work. I have installed in IPad pro, Android phones. The Fitbit app just doesnt recognize the device. Spent hours tried all the options discussed in online forum like restarting phone, clear cache, obnoffbluetooth, provided permissions for storage etc. No use. The syncing should not be this much difficult. There is serious problem with the App. Without phone app, the watch pretty much useless. Fitbit should improve the software quality before releasing it to market.

Pros I like how you can change the display to personalise it. Heart rate and stepper are good. It also recognises exercise well. The battery is good provided you have all the features turned off. I like that music volume can be adjusted along with skipping tracks etc.Cons Only very few banks are supported for the pay facility which was one of the main reasons I bought itso I cant use it. A lot of the apps seem a bit irrelevant to me. I find the Strava and Spotify apps pointless. I can still listen to Spotify via the music symbol and to be perfectly honest, it works far better than the Spotify app. The strava app is a big disappointment. Its not as if I can track or view what Im currently doing exercise wise via the app. It just lets me view my previous exercises. Its also a pain to set up some of these apps, as at first it kept un syncing. Battery could be better when you have the clock display on permanently. Also, the display coming on when you move your wrist is good but its also a shame it cant be activated when the screen is touched as touching the button can be fiddly.

Upgrade my Fitbit to this new version its a great investment. Took a little time to set up but nothing big. The screen is amazing Clear and able to read see clearly Functioning of my watch is easy and simple be patient and take the time to read get to know your watch. Had done some last minute household chores that included doing the dishes and at that moment it was great to have had my Fitbit on to count my steps, check my heart rate and the test the watch resistance. Lastly, same day delivery ON POINT Got to me on time, secure easy. If youre looking into investing in a Fitbit Versa in highly recommend it as I would with the Fitbit range. Ive chosen Fitbit as it personally supports encourages me about being active. It gives me a little nudge about wellbeing. This is my 3rd Fitbit, and honestly I cannot see myself staying with this one very long or ever buying another one. I was drawn to it mostly for the fact it is water resistant. The biggest dislike I have is the active minutes tracking. It is highly inaccurate. I just spent over an hour shoveling heavy snow and it registered zero active minutes, but making my bed of washing my floor are active minutes. I use this to sync to an app at work that pays us a bonus for our activities and I am certainly being cheated out of my active minutes. Wish I had stayed with my Fitbit Charge 2. Not worth the money

I love mine. I do have premium so I get a few extra insights to things. I find charging mine only once a week or when it has died or is at 1 battery makes it last longer. Also have a look at ebay for bands as there is an array of bands available. I just purchased some that are exactly the same as the apple watch bands. Making it easier to come on and off when needed. As I work in healthcare this makes it better for my resident and it will decrease any possibility of skin tears. I would highly recommend a cover for the watch. As I do knock mine I find this makes it better to avoid a scratched screen or sides.

If anyone has issues with it, they are probably using an overrated, overpriced, and hugely monitored, proprietary Apple phone. I am using it on a Samsung. I connected it via wifi and it was done in less than 10 minutes. I have had other fitbits ionic, versa lite and they took short of forever to setup. Alexa appears to work flawlessly and every time. Swiping seems seamless. The only thing is that it appears to dim in low light, but gets bright enough when in a brighter setting. I hope that gets eliminated, but I would imagine it is to conserve battery. All notifications come in fast and every time. No disconnection issues. Perfect size on the wrist. Strap is also easy to take on and off, smooth to the touch, and the watch overall feels quite lite on the wrist. Tried it for a couple of minutes yesterday to quickly text how it monitors an actual exercise weightlifting for me and it appeared quite accurate. I have tried Garmin Fenix, Samsung Galaxy Watch, other Fitbits, etc. This unit is fitness oriented, but it is also more than proficient with regard to the ability to successfully receive texts, emails, and calls. Ask yourself, as an adult are you going to really bother with a bezel, talk into your watch, especially in public, and are you going to have a lot of time on your hands to play around with multiple apps Better than 90 percent of your time you are going to take out your phone with a much bigger screen to handle data, calls, etc right there on the spot. This watch is excellent for 200 bucks.

I upgraded from the versa and must say there are really only a couple improvements but they are pretty big improvements. First and foremost is the battery life, it was already good w its the versa but wow I am getting almost a week with the versa 2. Six days easy with medium screen brightness and always connected. I dont use always on because I want it to turn on when I lift the watch, but I believe you would get more than the versa with it turned on. Second improvement is also why the battery life is so good and that is the AMOLED screen. This screen is as good as the Apple Watch probably the only thing as good as the Apple Watch. There is more improvements but those are the two that I think make it worth upgrading From the versa. Now for the big minus, the one thing I hate about the versa and although they improved with the versa 2 it still sucks. It is almost enough to not want the watch, almost. That is connectivity, it takes repeated trys to get the watch to sync to the app. It seems to be better with the versa 2 but I have never had it sync on the first try. Very frustrating but not a deal breaker for me, but Fitbit needs to fix this, look on their forums and this is the number one problem. I know people who gave up on the watch because of that. Still this is the only watch I will wear, no way I will use anything I have to charge every day or even every other day. That that alone excludes most the watches out there. Not sure what google buying them out will mean to the brand but for now its my favorite.

OK, so I have owned this Fitbit watch for almost 2 years, guess I can do a review now. Things with this watch have worked well. I like how it keeps track of your daily steps and pulse. I have linked this Fitbit to another one of my health programs, which transfers the information automatically to that program. Have to charge this watch every 2 to 3 days, which kinda seems like a pain but I guess no more of a pain that my cell phone or iPad, had hoped it would be longer between charges. Guess its all realtive. Would definitely purchase this again, have even thought about upgrading to the newest of the Fitbit Versa watches.

I spent a lot of time researching fitness watchestrackers and finally decided on the Fitbit Versa 2. I didnt want an Apple watch because of the expense and too many features I simply didnt need. I mainly wanted a watch for fitness monitoring and especially its sleep monitoring features. I was excited to get it going only to be sorely disappointed. Aside from the physical design, the rest seems as if it were an afterthought rolled out in a rush for the holiday season without undergoing proper product testing. The problems started right out of the box when I had to change to the larger wrist strap I finally got it done after about 10 minutes of fiddling with it. Then I had to go to their online community to figure out how to tweak my iPhone settings so I could just download the latest softwarefirmware and initially set up the watch. The watchs menu system and companion app are haphazardly organized and confusing and you even have to login to your account online to make some changes, such as adjusting the time from 12 to 24hour format. Only after I got into the system to do some troubleshooting did I discover a note that said that they are aware of problems it was having with Apple iOS 13. Gee, that wouldve been great to know BEFORE I bought it I cannot maintain a wifi connection even right next to the router and I continuously have to reconnect. The sleep function is supposed to show the different stages of sleep REM, deep, etc., but I suspect that this feature doesnt even exist, but its hard to know since the watch only tracks my sleep when it feels like it, which isnt often and has never shown sleep stages. UPDATE After reading some other reviews, apparently that feature is available only if you pay a 12.99 monthly premium. Talk about ridiculously overpriced Never could find that in any of the ads or documentation. I dont think the fitness tracking is very accurate either I spent most of the day sitting around in the house yesterday, but somehow, after only 6500 steps, I managed to burn 3,400 calories. I dont think so And the How to Use manual in the app isnt very helpful at all.I suppose I could continue searching the message boards for fixes to all my problems, but after 45 years of working with computers and technology, it just shouldnt be this hard to set up a fitness watch I was expecting so much more from THE innovator and pioneer of fitness tackerswatches and maybe the Versa 3 will be better, but in the meantime, I think Ill go back to Garmin or maybe try Samsung. I am obsessed with all things Fitbit. I have worn a Fitbit for atleast 6 years. Never been a day without it. My apologies, I did have to remove it during childbirth. But other than that I wear it religiously. Years ago I was all about losing weight and making my 10000 steps. Now its all about my resting heart rate and how I can lower it. Active minutes are awesome as you get more for exerting yourself above your heart rate zones. I went from a desk rider to working out at 530 every morning. I attribute all my success to Fitbit. I can wait til my next upgrade. But for now I am in love w my versa 2. It has everything I need. I love email text notifications too.

ive owned my Fitbit Versa 2 for a year and four months now and I can honestly say I am SHOCKED that this brand is still in businessnot completely bankrupt. This was my very first smartwatch I ever bought so I wanted to really see it through a yearplus of use before I decided on another significant investment purchase, but otherwise this thing would have gone into the garbage where it belongs a LONG time ago. as soon as I opened the box I could tell I wasnt wowed by this product, especially as an iPhonemac userfor starters, theres absolutely NO intuitiveusable connectivity or interactivity between this and apple products, even on the most basic level. I have never, not once in a year and a half, gotten my fitbit to successfully sync with my laptop, and find it incredibly laggy with my iPhone as well. Furthermore, the watch is absolutely FULL of weird bugslagsissues that seemingly all users experience at some point, but that fitbit customer service itself has basically zero answers for besides try turning it on and off again. My major annoyance ishas always been that my watchs heart rate monitor has been glitchy and laggy since i got the watch, and has only gotten worse sincefor the last month or so, my heart rate NEVER shows as above 8990 even when im in the middle of a HIIT workout. I also cannot EVER get my watch to connect to my Very fast and very good home wifi, which makes trying to update it a 23 day long process of troubleshooting wifi issues. And to top it all off not only is fitbit incredibly unresponsive to the MANY, many concerns they get from customers about the VERY common issues Ive voiced here, they typically take an attitude of if you dont like it, buy something elsewhich is exactly what Ill be doing

If your hoping this watch will give accurate heart rate monitoring while working look elsewhere. If youre doing basic cardio its fine, runs, walk, elliptical, etc but even rowing is a challenge for this watch and forget about anything high intensity. Itll literally be at half what your heart rate is if you hand calculate it.The band starts out comfortable but the soft finish soon rubs off leaving a hard river that has rubbed three raw spots on my under wrist. Ive tried lose fitting and tight to no avail. As a pedometer its great and as a smart watch it has decent function but look elsewhere if youre wanting to legitimately see what your heart rate is during intense exercise.

Only just bought this recently, but so far so good The fabric strap looks and feels nice and is better for me than the silicone one and theres 2 different sizes. But if you prefer silicone it comes with those straps as well in 2 different sizes. I never miss messages or calls now when Im at work as it is all linked to my watch and it means I can reply ASAP if its important. I also use it to track my sleep and my steps, which is way more accurate than my phone as I dont always have my phone on me. You can even track other things like running, swimming and other activities, also water intake, calories etc. Theres even a connection to Spotify and the option to use fitbit pay.

My daily exercise and sleep patterns are more consistent with this Versa 2 fitness watch. Setup was easy using my iPhone, statistical tracking of steps, calories, flights of steps, sleep stages, along with food water intake can also be tracked on my phone. Fitbit emails me a weekly summary to track progress. The always on feature I explored the first day, but it depletes the battery really fast, so I disabled it. When not turned on, battery life is 35 days for me. Alternate watch faces are included, but I purchased a bundle from an outside developer to get the combination digital analog watch face for assessing pulse respiration rates as a nurse. I wasnt interested in smart watch functions to link email, text messages phone calls, so I didnt activate any options that may be available. I highly recommend this watch to anyone looking to track activity, exercise, diet sleep.

Upgraded from a Fitbit Alta HR to this Versa 2 and am really happy. Obviously as I already had the Fitbit app it made the transition easier but I have found the watch really easy to use. There are lots of fantastic features. I love being able to pay on my phone, set timers for tabata style workouts. As well as the breakdowns after each exercise of calories burnt etc. Also love the ability to choose different clock faces etc. Really cant think of anything I dont like I was nearly going to buy a Garmin but Im rapt with my choice. Oh and it looks really nice too

i havent worn a watch in years so i wasnt sure how this would work out. I can say its super lightweight and i love the nylon band i work in water alot and it drys pretty much instantly the unit itself can go about 6 days without being charged. I when with the limited because the color of the band was a nice suprise to find an additional band in the packaging. Love the ability to keep myself accountable throughout the day with making healthier choices i am have already lost 13 pounds and i havent really had to change much some might say the price point is high but for the functionality it is definitely worth the value. Fitbit membership extra charge was worth it for the fact the activities are endless something for everyone i had bought my wife and daughter fitbit charge 4 a couple months back there success and excitement made me want want to we have become a fitbit family its fun and motivating to compare stats at the end of the day all while teaching our daughter about healthy choices extremely pleased with this purchase anyone on the fence about it click the buy now you wont be disappointed

This is my second fitbit. I was never really able to wear watches because I have such small wrists. The fitbit brand watches have been a game changer for me. The band sizes work on just about anyone and they are super comfortable to wear. I love that i can get my texts and calls right to my watch. The different exercise modes are awesome. They are pretty customizable and have a user friendly interface. I will continue to buy fitbit watches because they are constantly improving them. I love that I can keep track of how active I am throughout the week.

I was really excited to finally narrow down my smartwatch search. This seemed to offer the most bang for the buck. The app is really good, the amount of info is very thorough, and their twitter customer service is top notch The step counter seems fairly accurate, you can clarify whether its on your dominant or non dominant wrist, and tracking food through the app is cool. The band… The band has been terrible. If I have the watch snug so it gets a good reading, the silicone band doesnt let my skin breathe and it causes a rash. If I loosen it, then it stands a chance of sliding down and then turning so its no longer resting on my wrist. Replacement bands are available, bur from Fitbit they are pricey. One thoughtful touch is the pin you can pull to make removal super easy. However, after dealing with rashes on both wrists from switching it from one to the other, Im about to return it. The health information is fantastic, but not worth the discomfort.

What can I say This watch is brilliant. Easy to set up, easy to use. Nice size and comfortable to wear. Love the fact you can link it to apps on your phone, like my fitness pal. Dont think Ive ever walked so much to track my steps, also tells you calories burnt, miles walked etc.Havent used all the functions but only had it a week so imagine I will.I also sleep in this watch as its interesting to see your sleep pattern. Lovely colour, I definitely recommend.

I bought this watch on January 1, 2020. Its now August 2020, and the watch is completely useless. It wont sync with any device, despite the weeks of troubleshooting Ive gone through with Fitbit they communicate on Twitter. Its sad because I otherwise really liked the watch and all its bells and whistles. Id bought fancy straps for it and liked the interface quite a bit. Its better than the Charge 4 at registering heart rate changes, and much easier to see outside. But at least the Charge 4 syncs with my phone reliably.I am not the only one to have this problem. The message boards are full of people whose Versa 2 watches stopped syncing. Fitbit, fix this problem. Its really disappointing.

A number of my friends have Fitbit watches. Out of the reviews that I read the Fitbit Versa 2 Special Edition fitted my requirements exactly. I wanted a device to track my activity, monitor my sleep and pulse and accurately tell the time. That is exactly what it does, and more. I have yet to explore the other functions available but I will in time. The battery life is excellent, in excesss of 4 days and I get an email warning whenever the battery goes below 25 The watch has a clear display I like the analog watch display is easy to use and was within my price range. I have been used to wearing a watch which is much slimmer than the Versa 2, but this is lighter and that makes up for the slightly bulkier design and additional features. In summary i am very pleased with my purchase.

Ive had my Fitbit Versa 2 approximately three weeks and I love it I had been considering a smart watch for over a year, but, got overwhelmed by all the types out there. I finally decided in the Fitbit Versa 2 because I loved the look, it allows for other apps and notifications, the Fitbit app is phenomenal, it holds music and the price. At first, I was worried the watch would look too large on my small wrist, but it fits well. Having the watch has allowed me to track my heart rate, workouts and sleep regularly, which has helped me to improve in those areas this month. I just bought some replacement bands too so, im excited to mix them up with the rose gold watch face

I do really like this smart watch but there a few things that I will point out. If you want this for the fitness tracking aspect then go for it. If you want because youve been wanting a smart watch then I would recommend getting an Apple Watch instead. While I do like this, next time Im going to go with the Apple Watch. I do get text and call notifications on this but I cannot reply to messages which is downside. Sometimes the apps on the watch dont work unless you continuously sync it with the app too. If you have an android phone then this might be great but do keep in mind that the app selection is more limited than other watches. As a fitness tracker, its great. It tracks a lot of different parameters and also tracks your sleep which I love.

Just upgraded after my Fitbit Versa First edition died I love that this one is similar and different all at the same time Its perfect for everyday life. I love that I can connect with my Alexa and receive text call notifications. As a teacher, its nice to have a watch connected and be able to glance at notifications OR turn them off completely. My favorite feature is the smart wake alarm because you set the time and itll wake you up within 30 minutes before when youre not in a deep sleep Ive felt very well rested in the mornings with this feature. I highly recommend

Well, if you are thinking about purchasing this watch to tell time, there are easier options. But if you are looking for a watch that will track your physical activities, emails, text messages and more this is it. It allows you to read text messages and cell phone calls once you set it up. It also does so much more. I am still learning more about it every day. You need to be patience when programing it to match up to your WIFI and cell phone One concern I has was if I was going to be able to read the text messages on a small watch. Well, that is not a problem. It also seems to hold the battery charge for several day. This will depend on your usage of the watch.

Samsung Note 20 Ultra 5G I received this watch 07102021. Watch will not update. Fitbit pay will not work. Alexa doesnt work. Will not completely set up with Bluetooth. Keeps telling me an App is needed to pair. App is installed Watch keeps telling me new update is available, but it keeps saying Update Failed every time I try. I did a factory reset and I keep getting the X saying watch did not complete the reset. Deleted the app, reinstalled app, restarted phone, allowed all access…etc. I called Fitbit support and after 35 minutes on the phone they told me to send the watch back to QVC since I purchased from them. Ive tried everything to get this watch to work fully but the only thing it does is tell time. I took it to my son, who is a regional director of sales with Verizon Wireless. He did everything he could to get this watch to do what it promises to no avial… He told me to send it back to QVC Sending it back today. Show hosts need to be honest when selling products about some known issues. Very disappointing. BTW, this is the second time Im posting this review because QVC did not post my first one. Pros It tracks my steps during the day which I love to monitor so I can beat the number the next day, its like a little fun game to me. Notifications are clear and well presented. I love how it tracks my sleep too and also my menstrual cycle which is very handy. And it also tells me my most fertile window as at the moment when o trying for a baby. Its fast charging and the battery lasts a very long time. I love how Alexa is built in and I can ask it questions on the go out and about with real time answers. The incoming call notification is great I can see who is calling me without pulling my phone right out of my pocket. I love how you can set challenges with friends too for a little friendly competition lol Its a gorgeous design and fits my wrist perfectly out of the box. Its amazing compared to my old FitBit Charge 2. A brilliant upgrade off my husband for our first Valentines as husband and wife. Well designed and well programmed. No complaints from me. Well apart from one which I will mention in the bad points.Cons I wish that you could take an incoming call straight from the device like the Apple Watch. That would have been fantastic. Thats my only bad point

Purchased this instead of an Apple watch as the ability to load songs directly to the watch, therefore avoiding having to bring a phone with me when I run, as that was the key must have I was looking for. In that regard, this watch fails miserably.Have tried more ways than possible to load the songs, and nothing works. The directions Fitbit provides are useless and dont even match up to the watch I purchased. Rest of the watch works fine so far, but I could have gotten a less expensive version if I just wanted to count steps and see heart rate.Dont waste your money on this…Fitbit has no number to call to get technical support, and appears to not give a hoot about their customers. Go with an Apple or Samsung smartwatch if you want something that will work and is of quality…Fitbit products are junk

TLDR This watch really comes up short compared to the apple and Garmin watches. Cheaper yes, but you will regret not spending the extra 100300 on a watch with built in GPS the versa 2 does not have GPS. The exercise features are inaccurate and the apps are much more limited than the descriptions suggest. If you dont use strava and just want to track your steps and calories, not a bad purchase, if you want more out of it, keep readingFitness I record all my activities on Strava and that is why I find this watch useless for exercise despite it being advertised as compatible with strava. The strava app on the watch just displays your previous activities, you cant record anything without your phone basically useless. I was hoping to get a smart watch to avoid running with my Phone in my back pocket or swim dragging it in a dry bag and this watch fixes nothing of the sort.I also find the exercise app to be very inaccurate. For example I used both strava on my phone and the watches exercise app to record a 2k swim. strava recorded the distance to the exact meter while the versa 2 recorded somewhere around 1200 meters, both started and stopped at the same time. Similarly, on a run the watch returned a pace time almost a minutekm slower than strava, and it is reasonable to assume the phonestrava is the correct. lastly, I did a bike ride and didnt use the watch for it and it must have automatically assumed I ran at super human speed for an hour because it said i finished the day with over 16000 steps even though i did essentially no physical activity for the rest of the day.As a smart watch, very limited none of the watch payment options are available in canada except starbucks card. Alarms are nice, you can play, pause and skip music apple or spotify and view texts.Overall wish i got a Garmin or Apple watch.

This is my first smart watch. My employer provides Fitbit devices and I chose this one. I was wanting something primarily for running that could1. Track my run distance without my phone2. Play music without my phoneThe Versa 2 accomplishes those goals for the most part. Even without onboard GPS, the step tracking while running seems to be fairly accurate for distance, and Im able to listen to music while I run.Id add to the list of Pros Fairly fast overall and stable It seems to track physical activity well Syncs pretty flawlessly with the app so far Battery lasts a good long while 34 days is accurate with always on display turned off. With it on, expect 2 days max.The ConsA Punchlist Have to use music files I own in order to keep phone at home while running. Using Spotify requires phone to be connected. Have to use iTunes playlists to transfer music with the Fitbit app for Mac Transferring music through app is unbearably slow60 tracks took 20 minutes. Music skips while exercising Apple AirPods Always on display doesnt match chosen watch fave Always on display is difficult to get past. Raising your wrist doesnt wake up the device. Have to double tap very conspicuously or press physical button Cant reply to texts on iPhone Superabundance of mundane or kitschy watch faces available Watch bands are insanely difficult to change out. By comparison, my wifes Apple Watch is a total breeze. Large bezels on device Software feels dated think 2014 Samsung touchwiz Absolutely zero useful apps outside of Weather I find it uncomfortable to wear for more than a few hours. Larger wrists. YMMV.Neutral I dont use voice controls like Alexa or Siri, so no comment thereSummaryFor fitness tracking, this mostly does what I want it to. As an every day watch device, Im a bit underwhelmed. A reviewer somewhere else said theyre trying too hard to be an Apple Watch, and Im inclined to agree. If youre an Android user, theres probably a bit more value in this device as an everyday watch since you can reply to texts. If youre an iPhone person wanting a great fitness tracker and timepiece, thisll do just great. On the other hand, if you want a more robust watch experience, just do yourself a favor and get an Apple Watch.

This is the second Fitbit Ive had and will be the last. The heart rate is so incredibly inaccurate, which makes activity tracking and calories burned inaccurate as well. Ill be on a run or using the elliptical at a vigorous pace and itll say my heart rate is 80100. Ill then check my pulse and itll actually be 140160. Ive tried everything to fix this issue updating, restarting, wearing it in different positions on my wrist, etc and nothing fixes it. I went with Fitbit instead of an Apple Watch because I really only care about activity tracking, but clearly its time to try something different. Im done with Fitbit.

Pros I love this. It records sleep, steps etc very well and is simple to use. Great sync between it and my phone app AndroidThe look is stylish and can be worn easily for numourous occassions.Lots of functions on the app which I like.Cons It does seem to under measure step distance there are routes I do which are a particular distance but it always under measures them This is despite putting in my own stride lengths.I find some of the apps on the actual watch are more of a gimic I think further work is needed to make them useful… I thought Id use them more but tend not to. I am happy with it though as it does everything I wanted.Could do with more competitions etc through the basic site and some not in America I think there are more on the premium but I think the options in this section could be improved.

Best Fitbit ever GPS notwithstanding. It is the bright, big AMOLED display more or less the same as the Apple Watch 5, the incisive sleep monitoring styling that makes the difference. Fitbit knows its target market well, with the Versa 2 they have an outright winner. The perfect FITNESSsmart watch at a extremely competitive price where a wearer doesnt have to feel shy about not having an Apple. The Versa 2 gives YOU bragging rights even with Apple owners. It is true that the Versa 2 doesnt have GPS nor ECG, but both of those and I trust me I have tested those out too many times are esoteric. Unless you have genuine heart issues the ECG does you diddly Just tells you, over and over and over and over … that you are fine. After a few days it becomes boring and meaningless. GPS is somewhat similar too. Most of those looking at the Versa 2 want to know their step count, calories burnt, floors climbed and how well they slept. Those that run, hike, swim etc. typically do so on routes or pools that they are very familiar with. Plus, they can always get GPS tracking with Fitbits proven Connected GPS. Again, the key point is 12 the price. If betterimproved health and fitness are your goals, for THE PRICE, you cant beat the Versa 2. You will love the display and will be constantly glancing down at it. My wife, who has had, numerous Fitbit and other trackers, some with GPS others without, loves the Versa 2. Says it is the best watch she has worn and earlier this year she got to try out both a Versa Lite and an Inspire HR. That she likes the Versa 2 is high praise indeed.

As a person with a history of sleep issues, I bought a Fitibit years ago. Tracking my sleep has been helpful and it was the sole reason for a Fitbit. I prefer a major competitor for a smart watch, but it doesnt offer sleep tracking. When the Versa 2 was a special, I upgraded. Unfortunately, I have had nothing but issues syncing and tracking my sleep. I restart, update, reset to factory settings, remove the app, restart my device, and start all over again. And again. And again. I have repeated the troubling shooting fixes too many times to count now, but over two dozen times now.I have been in contact with customer service numerous times as well. Last week they promised my case was being escalated, since I have requested a replacement for an obvious defective watch. I was assured it would only take 2448 hours for an answer. Today marks 5 days, so I contacted chat support again, only to be told it remains in review. Meanwhile, I had to reset factory settings, etc all over again this weekend. This does not download my sleep, or fails to monitor it on a regular basis which makes my reason for a Fitbit moot.I am not happy. Buyer beware. QVC May want to reconsider their partnership with a company that provides defective products. Though it sometimes happens, the fact Fitbit does not promptly remedy The problem is poor customer service. The Versa 2 Problems started after the first 30 days, but it is only 3 months old.

let me highlight the Good larger colorful screen, variety of watch faces apps, overall a pretty watch. Does various tracking.Downsides 1.the syncing of this watch to my cell is erratic it takes various steps to sync it back to the phone. 2. you appear to need a paid subscription to music apps in order to use the app on the watch, i.e. Pandora. 3. No built in GPS.Honestly, 1 would have thought with all the complaints about cell phone syncing issues over the yrs Fitbit would have fixed the issue by now. I have had an ALTA HR 2 other Fitbits Ive never encountered anything like this. My Alta HRs screen just went out on me so I tried the charge 4 could barely see the content of the screen so I tried the versa 2 because I could actually read the screen but I have to say the syncing issue is trying my patience.

It took me about a month to write this review. I wanted to be sure I got it right. First the plus side, it has a lot of features and the app that goes with it is excellent. The watch can be an effective tool in your exercise program and corresponding weight control. The battery time between charges is a big plus. Like all the current smart watches, it is not without flaws. Lets look at some of them First, the manufacturer recommends you keep the watch one finger away from the wrist bone and two fingers away during exercise period or the heart rate wont be accurate. The first problem is trying to keep the wrist band from slipping down the arm toward your hand. I found that most of the time during normal activities, the heartbeat to fairly accurate. During exercise, it can be wildly off. Pushing up to the two finger point helps a lot, but it doesnt stay there unless you make the band so tight, it cuts off circulation to the hand. My Samsung Gear Fit 2 did not have this problem and was a lot more accurate, although the time between reads is a lot longer. The next thing is steps. Short steps might not record, in fact, with me, my count is fairly inaccurate. If I measure out big steps, it will track it, if I take a lot of little steps, many will be missed. If you are pushing a shopping cart through a store, the count will not be right either. If you are on a recumbent bike exercise bike and you use the BIKE exercise on the watch, very few calories will be recorded. Next problem it looks to me, the calories burned count is figured out using heart rate. Fine and dandy. But people like me who are on beta blockers for high blood pressure, will have a lower heart rate than totally healthy young people. In my case, I am on two meds for BP and to even get my heart to 75 bpm is difficult. The final problem I encountered is very strange. I was having a very hard time trying to get the watch to connect through my smart phone. For the first week, I tried and tried to get the Bluetooth to work. Occasionally it would kick in only to stop communicating when the phone wasnt near, and then fail to reconnect when the phone was again brought close. So I emailed customer support about the problem. It took about a day to get back to me. They recommended several things I already tried without success. And then one day, I believe it was on the 8th of having the Versa 2, it just started connecting to my cell phone, and even if I walked away from the phone, when I walked back it reconnected automatically. I have not had a problem connecting since.

Bought one a little over a year ago.Had some connectivity issues, mild annoying but manageable. Never could get the Spotify app to work consistently.Unfortunately, the heart rate monitor has stopped working, and just after I spent money on a new wrist band because the old one broke. I bought a fitbit to monitor my HR mainly, and it doesnt even do that.Have tried all sorts of fixes, nothing works.Barely lasted a year. Total garbage. Never buying fitbit again. The smart watch market has too much competition to put up with this nonsense.

Love this watch. I also have the Versa and the Versa 2 adds a couple of features I thought were missing in the original.Alexa is useful. If you arent using Amazon Alexa, not sure why youre buying this watch in the first place. The voice responses are a huge part of the upgrade. A feature not originally pointed out in the reviews and lists even on Fitbits website allows a voicetotext response to text messages. It works on Facebook messages, as well. Super useful. Youre not locked into the canned, preset responses. This is a feature only on the Android side. Sorry Apple users. This isnt a shortcoming on Fitbits side. This is control issue with Apple. They deny access to their infrastructure to most products. The battery life is respectable. Even with a fair amount of vibrating for messages and alerts, playing with the settings almost constantly like a 4 yearold, and using the alwayson option on the display, you should get 45 days on a charge. Another big plus for me. I have little desire to charge every day like an Apple or Samsung watch. This is a little better on battery than the Versa, which wasnt too bad at all.The fitness tracker as always is great. Its a Fitbit device, after all. Still assessing the sleep tracking but so far, it seems accurate and is tossing out some helpful info. This was an added bonus for me the vibration. I use my smartwatch as my daily alarm clock. I can sleep through a freight train rolling past me but a buzzing on my wrist works every time. I started with a Pebble smartwatch years ago and got spoiled on the strong vibration it had. Never failed to wake me up in the morning and I never missed a vibration on a message or other alert. Since Pebble went out of business and was bought by Fitbit later, Ive not been able to find a watch that had a strong vibration. The original Versa was close. The Versa 2 has an adjustable vibration weak or strong. This is as strong of a vibration as the original Pebbles had. So glad I upgraded from the Versa.Great watch. I highly recommend it.

This was a present from my husband for Christmas that he bought on TSV.I had high hopes for this watch as I already had the Fitbit Charge 3 that I love, and wanted to upgrade to a more sophisticated version. On Christmas Day, full of excitement, we both try to set up the watch first changing the strap to the correct size of my wrist was a real tour de force. There is a metal dent that you need to slide which was difficult for me suffering from arthritis. Not a good start…Next came the set up… dear God. It took us 2 hours to make it work via the app, the phone, then back to the app again. I dont know how we managed but it worked. Well thats what we thought, as the day after I realised that the watch and my phone were not syncing. We restored the watch to factory default for another set up, but we decided it was not worth it in the end and decided to send it back.As a result, Christmas was ruined, watch has now been sent back, and I am spreading the word for people not to buy it.Thank god the money back guarantee was extended until end Jan 2020 and we bought the watch from QVC and could return it. This would not have been possible from another retailer and 159 would have been wasted. Now my eyes are set on a different brand specialised in fitness tracking compared to that rubbish version which does not portrait Fitbit as a reliable brand.

I have purchased a Garmin Venu, Garmin Venu Sq, Fitbit Versa 2, and 2 Apple Se watches. My favorite of the 5 was the Versa 2. But I ended up with the Apple Watch SE 44mm with GPS only. All that I really wanted out of a watch was the sleep trackingGarmin was the bestFitbit next best, heart rate, abilility to count calories and nutrients, and music on the watch so I could walk my dog with a tee shirt and gym shorts on and not take my phone. First were the Garminsneither one of them would connect to my wifi in order to transfer musictook backthen came the Apple Watch SE with cellular servicewas told that my bill would go up 10.00 per monthit went up 50.00great with music if it was from iTunesmost of mine is in Amazon musictook that backnext was the versa 2also unable to transfer musictheir customer service support was deplorabletook that backfinally got the Apple Watch SE 44mmit does what I wanted plus much much morewhich to me is over kill. It also has the worst sleep tracking softwareplus all of the sleep apps stink. My Charge 2 passed on about a week prior to buying the Versa2. It had several cracks in the screen and had been subjected to working out, lots of dirty yard work, and several replacement bands. He made it about 22 months. RIP lil guy So, I needed a replacement and I agonized over this one or an Apple Watch. The Apple Watch has the coolness factor and can make calls, do texts, and countless other things without the phone with the cellular model. In a nutshell, I decided while I could do without carrying my phone, its not a must. Im religious about keeping track of my sleep patterns, and a few minutes a day on the charger while showering always kept my Charge 2 going without issue. Apple Watch has no native sleep app, no dedicated all in one fitness app like the Fitbit, and needs to be charged daily. I got the Versa2 and havent looked back. I dont really use anything outside of what I used on the charge2 but definitely like the looks better. Definitely recommend over Apple Watch if what you care mainly about is the health tracking side. Now, if Apple puts in a native sleep app, groups everything in to one app, and reaches at least 2 days battery life, I mostly like hop on over. Until then, Fitbit gets my money.

I have been a fitbit owner of almost all their products. First of all the Fitbit company has been great in trouble shooting or replacing my fitbit smart watches in the past, and for this reason I am happy to carry on buying their products. I had versa and now I upgraded to versa 2 few months before the 3rd one came out…. I do not use Alexa, so I cannot talk about this feature. However the 3 upgrades that I really like when comparing to my previous versa are 1 much longer battery life 2 a find your phone feature 3 ability to reply to messages directly from the watch. On the cons, my versa was set up to receive messages from the selected source lets say messenger, but it was able to receive kind of randomly from other sources text and whatsapp. The versa receives messages only from the selected app.

The first six months of owning this watch was ok But after that it went down hill. I had two new ones sent to me from Versa and both were issues. Not only was the information not updating on the app but it was incorrect, it was mostly copying my activity from the previous day. I called customer service several time and they fix it then a week or two later another issues It was alway something. Now the band is broken from the metal pin that keeps the band on the face of the watch. I should have gotten and Apple Watch because this is horrible Dont waste your money its not worth the constant trouble. Its just a watch that tell the time for me and its only been 1 year 2 months since Ive own it.

I like this fitbit however it has some issues. I have trouble sleeping and I love that I can track my sleep with this every night to see how much sleep Im actually getting. I also like that I can connect my smart weighing scale to the fitbit app to automatically sync my weight progress. The thing that I dont like is that when Im working out it doesnt seem to read my heart rate correctly. For example when I can feel that my heart rate is high it shows almost resting heart rate and then when I know my heart rate is slower it suddenly shows like a cardio level heart rate. Idk if its lagging or whats happening but it makes me feel like the reading is not accurate.

I purchased this to replace my Fitbit Alta. I purchased the Versa 2 with the pink band, the day before. The next day this one went on sale, returned the Versa with the pink band and purchased this one.I have a small wrist, so I thought that wearing it would make it look funny, but it doesnt. I like having all the status on the display, when I turn my wrist. It was updated recently with with SPO2. I havent changed the watch face to included it yet, nor have I set up Alexa. Not sure if I have a need for Alexa, but I guess it doesnt hurt.I can read text message. It rings on my wrist when I get a phone call. You can set it up to get notifications. My favorite is reminding me to drink water and reminding me that its almost bed time and to start winding down.So far, so good. I really like it. I wanted the Versa 3, but except for maybe one or two things, the Versa 2 has everything that I need. This is a keeper.

Wanting to improve fitness and health and get back into exercise this is a great tool. It brings you self awareness and motivation and is a serious tool for the more athletic. It has lots of bells and whistles including hourly step reminders. It records different types of exercise for distance, time, pace, steps, calorie burn. Theres a stopwatch, an alarm facility and sleep monitoring. The sleep monitor seems a bit circumspect as it monitors movement and heart rythm so you can be awake but still and it will record this as light sleep but, taking this into account, it gives a good insight into how youre sleeping. You can also log your food and fluid intake which, with a bit of mental dexterity, allows you to work out what you should be consuming in calories or burning off in exercise to maintain or reduce your body weight.I, personally, use it alongside a set of Tanita scales which gives you a breakdown of fat, water muscle weight and bone density. So you might not be losing weight but you could be gaining muscle

I loved this watch. It made a noticeable impact on my daytoday life, and its battery life was great However, unfortunately the screen died turned solid green, flashes white, turns black, flickers only 1.5 months after I purchased it. Fitbit is sending a replacement, but in searching around, Ive found that a dying screen is exceedingly common, with many people going through 23 watches that are replaced under warranty in their first year. So I can only conclude that Fitbits build quality is just very bad. So for that reason, I just purchased a Samsung Galaxy Active 2. Hopefully itll last longer than the Fitbit

Fitbit Versa 2 is great at what its intended to do. Track fitness, sync it to the Fitbit app Which I really like and give you a few more bells and whistles in terms of apps. Its not a total smartwatch like Apple Watch or the Samsung Gear is. Which is fine because it does what I want. It tracks my exercise throughout the day, allows me to change the watch face, which by the way the screen on this thing is really vibrant the colors show up so nice. Its go a small app store with a few nice options. It also has Alexa builtin so I can ask her questions. It would be nice if we had the option to set audible playback but right now its just text response, no big deal its still a nice feature.I really love the C25K app that is available in the app store. I am trying to start running again and I really like how I can access that program from my watch. It vibrates when I need to change pace.Overall, I would like some audio capabilities added in as a bonus. Maybe a little longer battery life, Im charging every 4 or 5 days. Of course, Im pretty spoiled because my FitBit Charge 3 had a weeklong battery life. Its a totally different thing though because I know this watch is much more dataheavy and will burn through the charge faster. Honestly, the charge on it is better than my Samsung Gear which I had to charge every day so I really cant complain. Its great overall, I love most everything about it. It does what I want it to do. Track my fitness and give me some bells and whistles. If you want a smartwatch get a smartwatch. If you want a fitness watch with smartwatch capabilities get the Fitbit Versa 2.

Pros It does what it should showing the clock, steps, heart rate. However its advanced functions are not working properly. I have bought this rather than Apple watch, as currently I have Samsung phone, and Apple watch is not compatible with it. Overall, not a bad smart watch, but knowing what I know now, I probably would not buy it again.Cons Messages arrive with big delay first I receive them on my phone and computer, and then after 12 minutes my watch might receive them or might not, depending on its mood even when phone and watch are very close to each other. WIth the calls is even worse. Only 40 of the calls are shown on the watch, and even then with such delay that my watch start showingvibrating only after phone already stopped ringing. Changing interface is not easy. I have tried to download different screens, but all the time they keep crashing, or saying that its downloaded, but in reality it is not.

My wife loves it. We have have been consumers of Fitbit product from the beginning. This was an upgrade to her existing Fitbit Charge which is considered a tracker and not a actual smart watch. This watch is comparable to the more expensive Apple watch and does everything needed to keep you motivated and fit during the pandemic. It does a great job at tracking my steps and calories that I burn. I like that I can listen to Spotify while working out and stream the music to my wireless headphones. It also has great battery life. Fitbit does have a new one that they just released called Sense. It is much more expensive. It has all the same features as the Versa except for maybe one or two additional features. The Versa is better priced and I can ensure you, it has more than enough features to keep you motivated and fit.

I have had the Fitbit Versa 2 for a week now so far Im loving it. With its built in Alexa it helps keep things in order. It has multiple apps on it and much more you can download through the Fitbit app, such as Spotify, Pandora, Starbucks and much more. Then you have your regular alarm, timer, exercise Lots of choices and wallet to pay by tap.Its screen is the perfect size and super cool. The design is pretty I cant wait to show it off whenever I can, They also give you a large band in case the smallmedium doesnt fit you well. It keeps track of my sleep, heart beat and sleep amazingly. Many clock face options on the Fitbit App most of which you have to pay for but I can appreciate the default look. My favorite thing has been the Smart wake on the alarm, to wake you during the optimal stage of sleep up to 30 minutes before your alarm.

Great little smart watch with a sleek design. My mom was on her second Fitbit Alta HR, the first had gotten lost under our sofa while she was cleaning the metal somehow got magnetized to the underside of the sofa and after we found it months later, it never worked the same. The second just stopped syncing to her phone after a while. So I decided to upgrade her and to the Versa this past Christmas and she loves the larger screen with bigger numbers shes 65 and her eyesight isnt the greatest. She loved the dark grey metal and I got her a chain link magnetized silver band off of Amazon to spruce it up. Shes also a bigger lady so the larger screen really fits her well.

Purchased the Versa2 to track my steps and calories burned to aid in my weight loss efforts. The Versa2 does those things and so much more with the Fitbit app that you download onto your phone to keep track of your data collected by the Versa2 and to track your other health goals data. While the Versa2 records calories burned via your steps or other exercise of choice, the Fitbit app allows you to log meals and compare calories in from meals vs calories out from activities. The Versa2 also notifies you when to move or when youve met an activity goal. Additionally, Versa2 notifies me of phone calls and displays text messages from my phone. I wear the Versa2 247 and have to charge the battery about every 4 days. In 2.5 weeks, the Versa2 has been a vital tool in my 7 pound weight loss by helping me track my calories in and calories out. Its easy to use and much more helpful with weight management than my Apple Watch had been which needed to be charged daily.

If you want a pretty accurate fitness tracker with a few smart watch features then the Versa 2 is probably the way to go. There are other smart watches that advertise fitness but you always have to give up either battery life or accuracy. Heart Rate and step count on the Versa are not 100 on point but theyre close and very much within range to be helpful. The best part of the watch is getting a nice OLED screen with great battery life . The battery life is around five days without the alwayson display and two to three days with it on.Alexa works okay and lets you use some basic commands but remember that the responses are all text based, Bluetooth needs to be connected, and the Fitbit mobile app has to be running in the background or foreground on your Android phone. Its pretty slow but having the setting enabled doesnt seem to effect battery life so its nice to have just if you want to know the weather or turn off a smart device and your phone is in the next room. The other nice feature but nice to have is the reply to text by voice. Its also slow but not as slow as Alexa on the watch. The voice dictation is pretty accurate, though, I wish they would add an on watch swipe keyboard in the future. It would be great to have both reply options.Every thing else is pretty standard for a Fitbit tracker outside Alexa and message voice reply. I still think Fitbit has the best easy to read and browse fitness tracker app. The Versa 2 is still not really the smart fitness watch I want but its getting closer.

I got this watch as a present after wanting an Apple Watch but not wanting to spend the money or have someone else spend the money on it. I got this watch and love it as it does virtually everything an apple watch does except for some minor perks that Apple provides in its product for apple iPhoneproduct users. I didnt get a screen protector for it thinking it may be more durable since apple products typically have that issue and thinking that Fitbit as a fitnesscentered company would make a more durable product. With this particular product thats not the case. After having it for a couple of months it got some scratches on the screen from bumping my wrist into the counter at work it wasnt a big deal. And this a few months later the watch got slid across a tile floor and the whole screen was scratched terribly. The warranty on the watch doesnt cover accidents, only manufacturer errors which was heartbreaking. I was able to buy some watch buffer and sealants off of amazon which helped some of the scratches but not a lot. After reading online, it seems like a lot of people also have this problem and the same thing has happened to others. Overall, I still use the watch because I can still read the screen, its just scratched up, but it still functions the same.

I purchased this watch when it was shown on HSN a few months ago. It quit working when my phone had a software upgrade. I own a Samsung Galaxy S20 5G. I called fitbit customer service and to no avail. They said theres nothing they can do. So when I saw this on QVC TSV . I wanted to try it again. Same issue but know there were no apps on the watch . Even when it said update my software for the watch. This watch has outdated software and they need to step up. I have the original versa and it works great but no alexa. Fitbit needs to step up there game. Very antiquated brand. Going for the samsung watch. They lost a good customer

I am a big fan and have owned several models of Fitbit devices and have loved them. I owned a Fitbit Versa before purchasing the Versa 2 and it was great up until it died 1 year and 8 months after purchasing it. I had such high hopes for the Versa 2 since I loved the Versa so much, but it was a disappointment right from the start. It did not vibrate for the reminders to move every hour, for text or message alerts and I tried everything I could think of and checked all the settings. Then a week or so later it started to have issues and I could not get the watch face to wake up and then when I did get it to wake up, I was unable to swipe left to get to the apps. I read comments on other sites from users which stated that they had talked to customer service at Fitbit and this was an issue if you tried to use it with a newer model iPhone. They were aware of the issue but didnt seem to concerned with resolving the issue. Im heartbroken because the price of the Versa 2 is great in comparison to an Apple Watch but if it doesnt work its not worth it. I bit the bulletin and decided to purchase an Apple Watch

I bought it for the heart rate monitor and to be able to track my sleep. The heart rate monitor is off by usually 20 beats at any time, making the sleep portion inaccurate too. I didnt realize as well that the step monitor is locked in to measuring from 9am6pm. Im definitely already at work by 5am missing a whole beginning of my day. It also inaccurately reads my normal walking around as exercise, meaning more than walking. The only thing I like about it after two weeks is the battery life. Another problem I have is it took just over two weeks to figure out all these problems with it and now I want to return in. However, the return deadline was at two weeks and now I cant return it.

First the positives. The quality of build seems really good, Aesthetics are pleasing. The screen is wonderfully bright and clear. I have found the sleep tracking very good, accurate and insightful. Also the app is very well written and easy to use. Lots of good things. The not so good. I bought this as a replacement for my Polar sports watch which required a strap to be worn for heart rate tracking. I wanted something without a strap. Sadly after a few months of comparing and using, my view is the Versa 2 is very poor when it comes to HR monitoring during exercise, but seems decent when at rest or just walking. This is a real disappointment to me. Ive been around the loop in the forums with support and it seems many others have similar issues. Its not just slightly out, its all over the place. I do not believe it is a faulty unit. This is a smart watch and runs apps. This has massive potential. Sadly the apps on offer are a bit thin on the ground. There are a lot in the app store but theres a lot of repetition and a lot of useless stuff from 3rd parties just taking up space. It seems immature in that regard. Ive looked into developing apps for the watch myself. There is no system to charge or license apps properly beyond hosting it in the store. This will put off serious developers go figure and fitbit themselves have provided a number but they do not seem to be being added to at any significant rate. There are other manufacturers far more mature in this regard. So as a sports device I do not rate this highly at allAs a lifestyle option it seems very good but the apps side is immature imhoI wanted a sports device and made a this choice based on trust that their claims about HR tracking were accurate.

I will never buy another Fitbit product. I was so excited for this watch it seemed like everything I was looking for, There were at first little things like keeping it connected to the Bluetooth but nothing too bad. Then it started to jump my resting heart rate by 10 bpm. I blew that off due to the amount of stress lately and lack of access to gyms to work off the energy. Silicon band left friction burns on my wrist but when I loosened it the watch fell off almost lost it three times before the extra bands came. Now, the screen has come off the watch after the warranty has expired. Side note my 11yr old has a burn on wrist now.

The Fitbit Versa 2 is an upgrade from my old Flex 2. Its a light weight enough on my wrist that it isnt aggravating or heavy and the light pink strap is neutral looking. I especially like the square design of the watch and the rose gold accents. It was very easy to sync the Versa 2 with my existing Fitbit account and my WW app. There are such a range of functions, that Im actually still learning about it and havent been able to sync Alexa with it yet. The primary functions are right on the display so if there is no need to open your phone to check your steps. Your sleep pattern is much more in detail when you open up the app on your phone and breaks it down into the four sleep patterns. My old Fitbit also did not have the heart rate monitor. The battery life is very good and its easily chargeable by putting the entire watch on the charging port. There is a do not disturb button which is important for sleep and different brightness level. I am very pleased with the Versa 2.

I received the Versa 2 for Christmas and right out of the box, I could not get it past the initial logo screen. After downloading the app to my cell phone the watch could not find my Bluetooth signal. The watch needs a Bluetooth signal to complete the setup. On December 29, I exchanged it at the Best Buy store with no problem. The second one started up fine and I enjoyed using the Versa 2 with its numerous features until January 22 when the Bluetooth connection failed.I tried every troubleshooting tip I could find including restarting the watch and downloading the app again. Finally, I called Fitbit technical support. They were very helpful and pleasant. After an hour of trying various solutions, they gave up and told me to restore the watch to the factory settings the solution of last resort according to them. I did that and once again, it cannot find a Bluetooth signal. All it will show is the initial Fitbit logo with no functionality whatsoever.I attempted to return it to the Best Buy store for a full refund but, because of the Covid19 shutdown, they cannot process my refund at this time. They told me that they will honour the refund once the shutdown is over.Today, I downloaded a free pedometer app to my cell phone. It works great

I needed a smart watch not really but I wanted to track my fitness and sleeping so I opted for the versa 2. Its larger than most fitbits but that is great because I usually wear large watches daily. It does nearly everything an Apple Watch does maybe minus calling and texting from this device but ITS A WATCH. So that was not a deal breaker for me.The price point is better than the Apple Watch which gives me the ease of mind in case something were to happen to it. Fitbit does a I believe 40 insurance plan which will replace the watch if sometching were to happen please read what the plan is but I will tell you YES its worth itSize compared to the Apple watches. It is smaller so you cannot use Apple Watch screen protectors or cases. It is fully water proof up to a certain depth that I know most people cant even swim down to. I shower with mine on.I work outside and havent had any issues with it falling off or smashing.Cleaning it is SO easy because of the spring loaded latched that hold the bands in. They come right off when you want them to so this means you can change its look in the matter of a minute or two.I went from wearing my dive watch every day to my versa. If that means anything to you.

I got this as a gift for Christmas and Im still in love. Where do I start First off its stylish and beautiful rose gold. Not to mention the amazing things you can do with it. You can track heart rate, eating and calories, exercise, female health and prediction, send and receive text messages and get all app notifications through your watch and respond to them. I love this watch and it has become my best friend when Im swimming. Oh wait, did I mention its Waterproof Umm yes it is. I have swam with it and even shower with it. I also love that the bands can be changed and there is literally a million band options. My whole family has one. I highly recommend FitBit to all

Ive owned several fitbit models since 2015 and liked Charge2. But the screen cracked and can be replaced. I was intrigued by SP02 monitor, GPS, among other features. I loved the shape and the face. The spring pin wrist band attachment is absolute rubbish, and im sure many bands break and are then difficult to reposition, because of it. The reason i returned it was that i could not get a heart reading at all. No point in me buying this without the heart rate, you cant monitor sleep either. The combination of my bony wrist and the large square form factor resulted in no contact no matter where i moved it up and down my wrist. Also, i was very disappointed to learn id have to subscribe to advanced apps to use the oxygen reading. Its moot for me on this device, but i was not willing to pay an extra 10 monthly when i was not confident of the accuracy of any of the readings. I did return it and bought a fitbit charge 4.

I had gone back and forth over whether I wanted to go with this Versa 2, or a watch from another well known brand. I went with the better price, and am so thankful I did The best purchase Ive made for myself in a long time. The battery on this thing lasts forever. I usually only have to charge it once a week, and even then its usually only down to 20 or so. I have several notifications that come through, as well as the constant heart rate monitor set, and the battery still lasts. The company also has been great for me. My watch had gotten very hot being on the charger, and when I took it off, it wouldnt work anymore. It felt as though it overheated. I did a live chat with Fitbit, and within minutes had a shipping label in my email to return the watch. It did take longer than expected for the watch to get back to them, but I dont think that is the fault of Fitbit. I had to go about 2 weeks without it but I was ok with that. They did not hesitate a bit in getting my watch sent in with no questions asked. The themes available for these are amazing as well. You can choose from 100s on the theme store, or even use a picture of your own. And again, it doesnt take the battery down any quicker. This thing is amazing The one thing I dont like, is the button placement. It is on the left side of the watch, and I would prefer it on the right. I thought maybe I would be able to just turn the watch around and the screen would adjust, but it does not. That isnt a huge deal for me though, as I have already gotten used to it. The step count seems to be very accurate, as well as the heart rate monitor and exercise monitors. The sleep function has been great for in tracking my sleep patterns as well. Overall, LOVE the Versa 2 and definitely would recommend

This is my 4th FitBit. I have had a lot of issues through the years. Thankful I was always able to get Geek Squad Protection but FitBit does not allow Best Buy to sell the protection plan for FitBits anymore. You have to buy the FitBit Protection plan through FitBit now if you want it which I highly recommendThis FitBit has a lot of awesome features. Some things I really like are the music I can store on it. Very helpful when I exercise to not have to take my phone if I dont want to. Another thing I love about FitBit is the weekly competitions I have with my sister and we hold each other accountable for our steps and activity. I also like that it tracks my weight, heart rate and sleep. I like that I can get different color bands tooMy favorite thing about this FitBit is I can see who is calling and my texts I stay busy at work so it makes it easy to decide if I need to answer the phone or text.Overall, for the money I think FitBit is an ok product

I purchased this watch 6 days ago and wear it ever since, day and night. It was very easy to set up. You need to install the FitBit app on your phone to get all the benefits, no need to sign up for the additional FitBit Premium, which is free for the first 3 months. You need to run the FitBit up at all times to get the full benefits, i.e. Alexa will not work if you close the app on your phone. But if you close the app the watch will still sync once you open the app again, and thats what I am doing, otherwise your phone battery will go down pretty quick, I have an iPhone 7Plus.The watch keep pretty accurate track of steps, exercise, heartbeat and sleep. I find the sleep tracking very interesting, especially since I apparently sleep better than I thought.I tried to switch from the woven band to the rubbersilicone band, which is a huge hassle. The silicone band seems to be a tiny bit wider than the woven, and it took a while to squeeze that band in. The silicone band feels much more comfortable on my wrist, as it is very soft. The watch notifies me vibrates and shows on display when I receive txt or emails on my phone as it should, it also vibrates and shows when I receive a call, I can answer that call on the watch, but I have to have the phone nearby to talk to the other person.I use the alarm every morning, it vibrates and wakes me as it should, but there is no additional sound, just the vibrating.Alexa works, but shows occasional flaws by not answering, not understanding or losing connection.I like that I can change the display, either download free or not additional clock faces. All over I am satisfied with this watch, but I am still considering an Apple watch, I am just hesitating because I dont know if I will really use all the additional features.

Ive tried using cheaper, knockoff fitbits in the past but they were clunky and unproductive. Ive had my eye on the Versa for a while, and the price is still a bit high for what I wanted to pay, but overall Im pretty happy with it. Im only moderately active occasional hikes, runs, yoga but its really easy to track your exercises. I also sync the Versa with the MyFitnessPal app, and my only complaint here is that Im unclear if my workouts automatically sync to the MFP app, sometimes they do but I noticed once that it did not sync. Hoping it was a fluke. My only BIG complaint about this product is the step tracking this thing thinks I walk a lot more steps than I do. It registers steps sometimes when I type, craft, cook, sleep, etc. and its a bit annoying to have to factor that in to the calorie counts, because it counts those steps as exercise and gives you calories back for the day… Ive seen a lot of people with this complaint. Its simply too sensitive. You can choose to ignore this feature though if its not important to you, as I did.The app is really easy to use, and its fun to review my sleep scores, heart rate, and other things I can do with the Versa, and really easy to customize the watch face.Overall I like this watch. Its not nearly as clunky as I thought it might be 5 5, 130 lb F and the watch strap is comfortable. Its easy to use, and I would definitely make the purchase again albeit not at full price.

The Versa 2 has a great screen, and the always on option is a big add. Battery life is a solid couple days, but not much more consistently.Smartwatch features are pretty basic, but activity and fitness tracking is solid. Reminder, this uses your phone for GPS, it is not built in. Sleep tracking is good, but the addition of the SPO2 feature is only marginally helpful as it does not provide much detail in the sleep app and as far as I can tell you cannot do a manual SPO2 measurement, which would be a nice feature. App store is not huge but watch face selection is actually pretty plentiful. Personally the addition of Alexa is not a huge benefit, as Alexa can only listen, she replies onscreen only. The Fitbit software app is what I would call Very Good, meaning better than the bare bones Google Fit app but not as rich as Garmin. Overall I would recommend this for someone who wants a little bit of everything, but is not going to try and do sophisticated Smart Watch or detailed Fitness Tracking tasks. A strong value for the price.

This is my second purchase of this product. The first one fell apart right after the warranty expired. The person that I bought it for was to be blamed, so that is why I had no problem buying back the same product. The owner loves this Fitbit. It connects to the phone easily. It tracks steps very well. It also has holds up well in water. There is a slight delay when calls come in or when text messages are received, but that is overlooked as this product is mainly for fitness activities. Make sure to get a screen protector.

I currently still have this watch for over a year now. I just wanted to a watch the could accurately count my steps. However, while I was driving it was recording steps which tells me that my steps arent accurate as I thought. The mic was another issue. It stopped working maybe 6 months in or so. I read many reviews that this watch has mic issues. So I cant reply anymore like I used to. Overall, it still tracks your runs but sometimes loses connection between your phone and watch while running and getting the distance you traveled. Its good for a couple months but after that not so good.

Pros Physically its a very nice watch. It has a lovely, easy to read even in direct sunlight screen. The band feels nice and premium, with plenty of fine fit adjustment for comfort. I love the sleep tracking and the constant heart rate tracking. They seem to work very well. Battery life had been excellent thus far, 99 down to 32 in around 60 hours… And for some of that time I was very actively using my versa with four separate timers for work purposes. Not to mention just fiddling with it and trying out its features, like Alexa… Which is very handy when youre working and your phone is in your pocket. Its so much more than a tracker… Its a fully fledged smart watch at a very attractive price point.Cons Ive had a few minor connection issues… But that MAY be due to my phone itself, so your mileage may vary.Im pretty disappointed that itll only connect with Spotify premium. Id also love to see more development into phone app control Scribd etc from the versa. There needs to be some more quality apps available, and more integration with popular mainstream apps… Which I hope will come with time. And heres an odd one… The step counting. It seems extremely generous when youre driving and at other idle times near doubling phone counter and yet undercuts you at other times. All in all, its a great value tracker with a huge amount of smart watch features that just needs some software refinement and support.

The Fitbit watch is really cool. I wanted to be able to track my steps and I cant have my phone at work. I like how it tells you your heart rate and calories burned. You can change the face on it, to a interactive face. I have a plant face and every time I take steps the plants grow. The face size is good. I like it better than the thinner bands. It gives you reminders to walk and get active. It has the date, time steps, heart rate all on the front of the watch. The color is super cool and not to dark. It comes with a longer band incase the one that is on it isnt long enough for your wrist. The only bad thing is it doesnt come with a plug in charger. It has a USB charging cord but not the plug the goes into the wall.

I have been using my Fitbit versus 2 for just over a year now and I am more than pleased with it. This watch holds a variety of features, including your heart rate, calorie water counter, different workoutexercise settings, a calm down breathing exercise, card reader for contactless payments this only works with certain banks, and other general features like Alexa, message reader, phone call notifications and a calculator. The battery life on this is impeccable as well, it will last days at a time. My only fault would be that this band will give me blistered and a rash around my wrist after wearing it for so long. So I have had to invest in a separate watch strap. Other than this, I would highly recommend to any fitness fanatic or someone who is looking for a smart watch with that extra bit of fitness within.

I love ALL my Fitbit Versa Watches, and the Versa 2 is just an absolutely wonderful 2.0 version of the original Fitbit Versa platform. … CAN NOT WAIT for the next level Versa Sense coming in September 2020. .. It will have A LOT more health monitoring functions that I currently rely on a separate bracelet to do Like Skin Temperature. … Forget the iWatch unless you have to have an iPhone the Fitbit Versa series of watches are ALL better AND much more reasonably priced solutions for activity tracking. My best suggestion for everyday Fitbit Versa use is, to get a 22mm Stainless Steel Bar Links wrist band with quick releasepush button clasp if youre used to and like wearing a weighty wrist watch, a steel band IS the way to go … OR, my personal favorite for ease of use and adjustability a Stainless Steel Mesh, Milanese wrist strap with a Magnetic Clasping tabbutton. … Put the silicone bands back in the box. P.S. I REALLY like the Fitbit App too … So much easier to use AND more intelligible than ANY OTHER smart watchactivity tracker app that Ive EVER used.

I got it during a Black Friday sale that made the watch roughly about 10 less than what it usually cost. I paid roughIy 290 WITH extend warranty. I like the functionality of the watch PROS able to monitor my stepsmiles, heart rate while also being able to pay for my Starbucks all right from my wrist without ever needing to pull out my card. Alexa voice activated that lets you set alarms, plays music if connected to wireless earphones. So handy CONS a lot of the good applications or features, like some of the music apps requires users to PAY for their premium services to use these other functionalities. Also, I bought the Bordeaux Color band with a rose gold watch. They didnt sell the band separately, so I got this option instead since I had loved the color so much. 3 months later with very few uses roughly about 20ish wears, the band broke Since the company didnt sell the band separately, I reached out to customer support for help regarding my favorite colored band. And they were no help despite the fact I bought EXTRA warranty. The other bands they sold were 30 a piece and not as pretty color as my original one came with. I ended up buying a different band from Amazon for 10 and got more compliments on it than before Another note, why spend more money on a band with such little life span Whats the point of warranty if they dont cover it all Whats the point of offering a unique color and no availability of buy option if it breaks Their customer service and band options need to be reviewed. Im disappointed.

I use it for the heart rate when Im being active or working out. A good amount of activities you can track is great like running, walking, Pilates, yoga, swimming, boxing, bike, interval workouts, treadmill. Logging in water intake was easy. I was really curious how the sleep feature works and really shows how goodbad I slept. tracking steps is always good to see, especially when it vibrates indicating you hit your steps. The relax feature i like a lot when you take time to yourself and just follow the breathing steps. I also linked up my Spotify to hear music. Pandora and the Starbucks feature is good as well. Battery is great.

I bought a Fitbit 2 in October 2017, it worked well until July 2019 before it was totally dead. Then I purchased a Fitbit versa 2 in November 2019, and it is Officially dead today, which lasted less than one year. Fortunately, I bought extended warranty, but it is still annoying because I am not happy to see that an expensive watch which cost me more than 200 worked less a year. I like the design, functionalities and look of this fitness tracker however, I am very disappointed with the durability of this product. I am done with Fitbit and will switch to Apple Watch. I would not recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a durable fitness tracker.

This is my first smart watch. I have used analogs and classic Casios all of my life.My personal highlightslong battery lifefitness tracker the ones that i pay attention to are the steps, heart rate, calories, miles. I love the heart rate tracker in exercise mode while using my bicycle.phone notifications calls, text message, alarms there is no sound, all vibration which is nice.alarm i have grown to like the watch waking me up in the morning through vibrations.I use the timer and stop watch a lot too. So I have my watch to where i hold the button on the side for a second and the timer comes up. Very handy.it looks good and is comfortable.Simple and easy to navigate.I never have to set my time or date again as the watch is synced to my phone. All in all, it is exactly what I was looking for in a smart watch. Im not interested in what comes with the competitor watches. Im a fan of the Versa and will likely continue with these for a very long time. Thanks

I cant seem to figure out how to get the music apps working, but this us otherwise a great product. I can receive and send texts and it alerts when someone is calling. The alarm wakes me up daily, it keeps track of my health. The clock face is customizable and I put my husband and I as well as kids picture on it. This is everything I was looking for in a smartwatch It comes with two black sports bands. One small and one large. I ordered the the band that is on it separately and the second photo shows the watch with a protective clear bumper cover on it.

Initial reviews would have been naturally awesome. However, after using this for a long period of time, here goes my review. The watch is an awesome alternate to the mainstream watch devices. The battery backup is excellent. There is a good variety of stats that keep track of my fitness and calorie intake. My biggest caveat is the lack of intelligence to keep track of my fitness via the phone app. The watch does a good job in tracking it. But the app needs some work is what I feel at least for my personal usage. There is a slight lag at times during cold weather when temperature dips down to 30 degrees. Overall, its a good device and is worth very dollar.

This Smartwatch worked perfect out of the box for about 3 weeks, then Fitbit updated their ap. This update kept the watch from syncing to the phone ap. After spending a couple hours trying to get to work uninstalling, reinstalling the ap, set the watch back to factory specs a few times playing around with bluetooth settings, I did a google search and found a chat board that thousands of people having the same issue. About 2 days later, Fitbit issues another update and the problem was fixed. While frustrating, technically not the watchs issue. I am giving it 5 starts cause the watch does do what its meant to do. Hopefully the Fitbit ap people wont mess it up again.

At first I was completely in love with this thing and the app that came with it. The look is nice, the feel is nice and being able to constantly and easily see the time, how many steps youve taken calories youve burned among other things is fantastic. I really attribute my weight loss of over 10lbs in one week to this Fitbit. HOWEVER, it did cause me to develop some weird rash or peeling on my wrist that have left me with a dark spot which resembles bruising. Ive havent been keen on wearing it since. Also, I might add that I didnt develop the rash until I switched to the extra band in the box. So maybe the regular band wont be an issue.

I purchased the FitBit Versa 2 after carefully comparing it with the competitor options of the Apple Watch series. I ultimately decided upon the FitBit device as with FitBit one isnt locked into the Apple universe. In essence the Apple Watch was more expensive for my budget and possessed wayyy to many features that I wouldnt use and could do without.Aside from listing comparisons that one can read at other websites I will simply note that I wish Id known about this feature before purchasing the FitBit Versa 2. The FitBit does play music but only supports music one owns and nothing without digital rights management. Another aspect of the playing of music is that the FitBit Versa 2 supports the software applications of Pandora and Spotify but only with a paid subscription rather than those one can use on a phone with the interspersed ads.Article that ultimately made me decide about the purchase.httpswww.cnet.comhowtoapplewatch3vsfitbitversabestsmartwatchfitnesstrackercomparison

Bought for girlfriend vecuase shes been wanting a wat h to use for running. After 3 days of wear, we started to notice a rash on her wrist where the metal clasp touches the skin. The rash was red, dry and produced bumps that was almost like scales. Appearently this is something that has become more frequent with smart watches. We contacted FitBit and were told to just wash the area constantly and only use the watch when exercising smh. Returned to FitBit for a refund that we are still waiting on. Do not recommend buying, and has turned us off from smart watches.

Got this watch for Christmas 2019 and my fitbit started being glitchy right after this last Christmas 2020. I work in the pool 12x week and shower with it on. But I dont think this is water resistant. Now, my touchscreen doesnt work well. Another thing that was annoying that sometimes my watch didnt connect to my watch. The fitbit pay wouldnt except any of my cards and I have Visa, discover, and mastercard and they all didnt work. This watch isnt cheap and you think it would last easily over a year. I know I use in the pool but that is what is says is made to do. Very disappointed with this watch. Also, when my phone would ring, my fitbit only gave me the option to end call. So now I am back in the market to find another smartwatch.

Im liking what Im getting with this Fitbit. Long story, but I have an Apple Watch 5 and was getting really frustrated with the issues I was having with it. Instead of replacing it with an expensive new Apple Watch I thought about what I truly wanted and it was the fitness pieces so I picked up this versa 2. Im super happy with it. It does everything I want it toneed it to. The first thing I noticed is how light it is compared to the Apple Watch. I like the band better too my Apple Watch bands gave me some skin irritation. The screen is very pretty and responsive. The best part is that I only have to charge it every few days compared to daily at best and twice a day at worst. Love the Fitbit versa 2.

The Fitbit Versa 2 is a vast improvement over the previous Fitbit Charge HR I owned. The two biggest for me is that this is waterproof lost my Charge HR to saltwater in the Atlantic and I can play my Pandora music from my Versa 2 I am able to workout and not carry my phone at the gym This gives me all the fitness, nutrition, and sleep tracking I need and allows me to get phone calls, text messages, calendar, and music. They connect to my wireless earbuds. It also has other features like timers, alarms, Spotify, Alexa, payments, and so much more. This blows previous Fitbit smartwatches out of the water Battery life seems to be pretty good no complaints. And lots of face appearance customization options. Did I mention you can get diffferent watch bands too Yes, I do love this watch

My Ionic was a bit dinged up, so I decided to go with the Versa 2. Its a nice looking watch and it performs wellis very responsive. Fitbit is a little more oriented to the fitness side, but the smartwatch features and notifications are perfectly sufficient for me with the notifications, weather, some news apps, etc. The only downside is syncing can sometimes be a bit wonky, but generally going into the app and syncing will do the trick. On the positive side, I do like that Fitbit operates from a single phone app instead of several like some other Android options out there. The sleep score functionality is interesting. I did lose builtin GPS from the Ionic, but the connected GPS works fine for me as I have the phone on me 95 of the time. Obviously it would be an issue for those that dont like carrying their phone though. I really like the alwayson functionality as it feels more like a true watch. Always on does eat into battery life a bit and you have to use a simple face, likely to preserve battery, although a more complex one lies under it, but it still beats out most other options out there. Overall, Im very happy with it.

It took some time to learn how this works and to get it to work completelyI had to put the longer strap on, this comes with the watch and is a bit fiddly. You needed to connect it to your phone, having downloaded the app of course. The connection can take a couple of goes but it does get there, you will also need to keep the app open in the background, this will have an effect on the life of the battery..I personally have the watch display off unless I move my wrist, this saves the watch battery and I get it to last about four to five days, I also find popping it on charge say when you have a shower keeps it topped up.There are lots of watch faces to download, some are free more are paid. I tried a couple of the free ones then deleted them and reverted to the standard one, in the picture.StandardThe weather app is great, the timer and alarms are very useful as is Alexa. If you exercise there is an app that tells you how you did.I like the step counter and its very accurate.

Love my new Versa 2. Husband got one and I got Fitbit envy. I previously had an Alta. I love having a real watch face, and like that it measures things like stair climbing. One watch face even monitors your blood oxygen level. So cool Wish the copper watch had not come with a pink band. Why do companies think all women automatically love pink I hate it. I changed to the alternative navy band immediately, even before setting it up But I bought a leather band for it from Fitbit.

As other reviewers have commented, after setting up the Versa 2 using an Android device Galaxy S20 it installed a firmware version that did not support the oxygen SpO2 watch face. The Fitbit app on the S20 said the version was the latest, but after searching the web I found that the version it showed as the latest was not the latest version 35.72.1.9, which is required for the oxygen clock face. I called Fitbits customer support and the rep walked me through performing a factory reset through the watchs setup screen. This time I setup the Fitbit using my iPads Fitbit app. After performing the factory reset and setting up the watch again the newest firmware version did install and I was able to select the SpO2 watch face for the oxygen readings. This complexity was disappointing and Im sure many people are having this problem. I will now keep the device since it is now displaying the SpO2 information. I hope this review helps others who are finding that they cannot see all of the features that were advertised. Hey Fitbit, since this device supports Alexa how about including support for Amazon Music streaming for those of us who do not have Pandora or Spotify.

I had a Fitbit a while ago and had no problems however I bought three Fitbit verses all of them broke I bought them from QVC and I took really great care of them my face popped off completely I had never seen anything like that before. the first one was repaired or replaced rather by Fitbit the others I was just out of luck as one of my others same exact thing face popped completely off and my fiances face remains black. what a shame as I was as shareholder and fit it I believe there is still time to enter the class action lawsuit that they have against them. any suggestions for another tracker would be greatly appreciated thank you in advance. Ive owned just about every Fitbit they have ever made . Nothing was every wrong I just kept upgrading because I loved the quality of the Fitbit products . I was previously wearing a Charge HR and upgraded to this when it was a TSV and Im so glad I did . I was nervous with the negative reviews but I had no trouble with set up or battery life . Battery lasts about 4 and 12 days but Im not disappointed as my text and call notifications go to the Versa 2 so Im not constantly looking at my phone which I love Ive also used it for running and have downloaded my running app and pandora to the watch which eliminates running with my phone and a pesky armband . Overall Im very happy with the Versa 2 and would recommend it .

The Good Its a nice looking device and seems pretty rugged so far.The Bad I bought the Versa 2 to primarily track my heart rate. I ride my bike a lot and after 5 minutes its no longer accurate. If I take it off and dry the sweat from my wrist and the back of the Versa 2, it works again for about 5 minutes or so. It doesnt track my exercise very well which makes it pretty useless. A 55 km bike ride over two or three hours reads as about 6,000 steps. For my needs, the Versa isnt worth the money. From I what I understand, a heart rate monitor that straps on to my chest would probably meet my needs better.

Recently purchased the Versa 2 to replace an early version Apple Watch. Ive had a very early Fitbit then a Fitbit Charge, Charge 2, but until the Apple Watch died, I was wearing both the AW Fitbit in order to get the combination of watch functions fitness info I wanted. After considering replacing both with a brand new Apple Watch, researching, reading reviews and finally going in person to physically see the new AW Versa 2 side by side, I chose Versa Hands down, Versa 2 does everything I need all in one beautiful package. Love the big display, love the longer battery life, love how easily it syncs with my IOS phone iPhone 11. The Versa 2 does not have some nonessential bells and whistles of the AW, but after 3 years of wearing the AW, I never once used the remote photo, never played games certainly never relied on its fitness tracking. Ive been wearing this Versa 2 247 for nearly a month, and its flawless. When it does need charging, it will charge from nearly 0 to 100 in less than an hour. It may not be everyones preference because it is slightly larger Than the AW, but all the pros truly outweigh the size difference and I have very small wrists, too. Go Versa 2 a great choice

Pros Nice fitness tracker. Its my first one. Love the colours. Has features to help you track excersise, food, water, sleep, calories in and out and even a deep breathing excersise to aid health and wellbeing. Has alexa built in which is a nice gimmick. It has the ability to connect to some other fitness apps like strava to track workouts. You can also download playlist from Deezer and Spotify and it will store songs on the device so you can connect Bluetooth headphones for music during workouts. Had a fairly decent battery life of around 45 days. Its really light to wear.Cons It took a bit of fiddling with the phone settings to get it to sync properly with the phone and stay connected. I have an android phone and had a few issues where the app kept loosing sync and if you quick add water etc on the watch it doesnt then reach the app.Although it can use your phones GPS to map excersise there is no builtin GPS meaning you have to keep your phone on you while working out. There is also no real time GPS like some apps, So you can only see the map after workouts. Clock faces are limited and only comes with one built in others you can download can be glitchy or you have to pay for. Some settings frustratingly can only be changed through the website account like 24 hour clock which shouldnt be needed in todays age with such comprehensive apps. The biggest letdown is after spending over 160 on the watch if you want all the available tools you also have to pay for fitbits premium subscription. Something you shouldnt get after paying so much for a watch.

It counts steps when you move your arm, but your body is still. While exercising, the heart rate monitor goes in and out. As such, you will NEVER get as close to an accurate calorie burn count as you typically would if it were not going in and out. My BIGGEST gripe regarding the heart rate is the fact that it does not show a true up to the second calorie burn count when exercising. What do I mean When exercising, if you look at how many calories you are burning at that very moment, take notice of the fact that the calorie burn appears to stay the same for literally a whole minute or more, until the watch ultimately updates the calorie burn during the actual workout. There is some type of delay in the way the watch shows calories burned during the workout. Garmin will show you actual calories burned during the workout as you make your way through the workout, and all the while up to the very second. No delays. By the end of, say, a 30 minute workout, vigorous exercising with very little rest, the Fitbit may show that you have burned approximately 250 calories. That is absurd and inaccurate. As for the strap, why hasnt Fitbit changed the method of straps used to a traditional style of watch band When you go to release the quick release, be prepared to potentially break a nail and fracture a finger. And the bezels are still HUGE. I get that it is all done to preserve battery life, but EVERYONE on the planet by now knows that if these companies wanted to, they can put in a 10,000 mah battery in these things to last a month, but they continue to release these mediocre watches with VERY LITTLE INCREMENTAL UPDATES so that we keep coming back to buying the socalled next and best updated version.

I switched from Apple back to Droid a few months ago. It pained me to give up my iWatchit worked seamlessly with my iPhone 8plus, but upgrading the iPhone was going to quickly become ridiculously expensive. So I bought a refurbished droid hello expandable memory and the set out to find a smartwatch that would do a variety of things. It needed to have a decent battery life more than 24 hours please, receive notifications from my phone, allow for responses on the watch, be easily set for timers, alarms and because I work in healthcare, a watchface that can stay on all the time. When the Versa 2 went on sale, I nabbed it and have been very very happy with it. It does all of the things I need it to do and is waterproof to boot. The battery easily goes 3 days if not more, it charges very quickly, the hapatic alarm wakes me up without fail and the alarms and timer are easy to set. I can even voice respond to messages I receive. The watchfaces are diverse, though not as extensive as Apples. You can access more from the Playstore, but I have foud the standard watchdfaces to be adequate. There are fun things I miss about the Applebut I love the freedom of not having to charge it every day. For this pricepoint, the Versa 2 is excellent.

My husband has an Ionic and he loves it too. I have bought lots of bands online for cheap to accessorize it. I am a swimmer so I love the Waterproof aspect. Before you buy a Fitbit of any kind go to their Facebook page and you will find thousands of complaints. Also google Better Business Bureau Fitbit and you will find they will not accredit them and have nearly 1000 complaints and barely half have been resolved. Ive had two Charge 3s. The first lasted 10 months and the replacement they sent me lasted 6 months. Their customer service is horrible. These trackers are defective and dont last. Please read the reviews before you buy and its not just the Charge 3. There are complaints about all different ones. They wont replace the second one they sent me because they say it goes on the original warranty of the first one so they offered me a discount on an upgrade but I had to buy another Charge 3 or Versa and only certain colors. The also wont let me use the discount on the new Charge 4. Now why would I want another Charge 3 when Ive had two defective ones. Do yourself a favor and get an Apple watch. You will spend that much buying Fitbits in less than two years and at least they work and Apple stands by their products and has great customer service.

Im 310 interested in physical fitness but find it very motivating. I like how it tracks records my exercise automatically. I received my versa 2 as a gift for Christmas and hooo boy has it been a letdown. Every single component of this dollar store quality device has failed in the 17 months Ive had it. Fitbit offered 25 off since its out of warranty these things cant be repaired of course, that would nullify the planned obsolescence driving landfills that are probably filling up with these things. But there is zero chance id ever support this company againMore specifically, heres what has brokenmalfunctioned on this lemon in the last year and a half right around a year in, the display would start just endlessly scrolling. Nothing would stop it except a hard reset problem persisted until I contacted FB they offered a replacement. All of a sudden the problem stopped, so I didnt send for a replacement, no point in creating waste. The problem persisted sporadically until its final day of operation. the battery would periodically run itself down in a matter of hours. I made no changes to the app or device, some days it was just tired I guess. I can now get about 2 hours on a full charge, which doesnt matter anyway, because the heart rate monitor just died. No little green lights flickering on the back, nada. Just bit the dust in the middle of the night a few nights ago. Thus none of the tracking works anymore. Which again is nbd because a few months ago the brightness adjustment feature also quit. I could press to select dim, bright, auto and it made no difference it stayed in perpetual dim as it gets mode. Legit the last few months I have had to duck into deep shade and also shade the thing with my hand just to barelt on a cloudy day see my stats while running. Useless. the screen has faded badly, you can clearly see where the case ends and the screen begins because there is a white almost burned looking box around the screen. message notifications never worked. Not from day one which wasnt a big deal because I wanted it for fitness. But still. putting music on it Have a drink, youll be there a while. I never was able to get that to function to work. screen responsiveness Great when it worked which was about 75 of the time. I learned when it was like this to just not touch it for a few hours and itd eventually start working again. The device isnt worth 10.All in all this garbage from the leader in fitness trackers has caused me to switch brands after many years. This barely functional piece of equipment should never have passed the qc to bear the Fitbit logo. Thinking of how many of these are piling into landfills hurts my heart and makes me angry.Stand behind your products Fitbit. Make them repairable and last longer than one year. As another reviewer mentioned, after completing the setup process the device displays that you have the latest firm but it will not show the oxygen sensor watch face as available for install. After searching the web I found that there was a newer firmware version available than the Fitbit was displaying as the latest. After reaching out to Fitbit customer support I was instructed to perform a factory reset on the device via the Fitbit Settings icon. With the factory reset you have to go through the entire setup process again but at least this time it downloaded the true latest firmware to the Fitbit. Once that was done I was able to install the oxygen sensor watch face. Now that I have that problem resolved I am enjoying the Fitbit. Now lets see how long this device lasts.

I will admit that I purchased the Versa 2 because it, along with the Charge 4, are the only trackers listed by Fitbit that track pulse oximetry SpO2 and that was the main feature that I was looking for in light of the COVID19 pandemic. However, the SpO2 tracking isnt very well represented in the Fitbit app, which already had issues connecting to the Versa 2 itself. The app was finicky at first, but one call to Fitbits customer support fixed all the problems. Its great at tracking milage, distance, route paths, and speed on runs, biking, and more. The heart rate monitor is fairly accurate and consistent. It has great battery life and lasts for hours on a low charge. Fitbit offers a variety of customizations on apps, watch faces, and more. Plus Spotify works very well and is easily controlled by the Versa 2.In summary, its an excellent watch that may not have had everything I have wanted, but has made up for it in great features, battery life, and customizability.

I ended up returning it but only because I felt like the Apple Watch would suit my needs better. I think if not but for that option I would have held on to this. But if youre looking for something thats more fitness centric that also has smart watch capabilities this is gonna be a great purchase for you. Its pretty comfortable, looks nice, has some customization options and is going to be better at tracking walking and workouts better than Apple or Samsung do. Its a Fitbit after all and thats their emphasis. Im still thinking of getting a smaller Fitbit just to have when I know Im going on a hike or something because its more reliable in that perspective. Absolutely a nice watch and a great price if youre looking to keep things under 200.

I have waited nine months to write this review so I could be thorough I have been using Fitbit for nearly five years and upgrade every two, so this is my third different model and so far the best. Looks wise it is classy, lightweight, slim, feels substantial without looking huge, the face is a tasteful design and clear to read. in terms of functionality everything works perfectly, the range of things you can measure is considerable and the data you get is clear and easy to understand. Every aspect of this Versa 2 has been problem free from day 1. Connectivity is faultless and the app works smoothly. Battery life is great after continuous use, nine months down the line I get approx 3 days from a full charge. I have just changed my strap as my horween band was getting a little worn and changing the strap went well it needed a little patience but no significant problem. It seems odd to me that there are a few poor reviews of this Fitbit Versa 2, as I think Fitbit is a brilliant brand that has never let me down. I appreciate that sometimes in any brand you can be unlucky and get a rogue device that has some sort of manufacturing fault, but not in my experience of Fitbit. My husband is on his third Fitbit too and he has this same Versa 2 model, and like me he is 100 satisfied. I recommend this Fitbit totally and with confidence.

I got the limited edition watch band. I will say that the band is rough on the edges and gets sweaty after being worn for a while the inside is silicone with the woven fabric the outside layers. I actually changed out the band for a scrunchie band because I live in the desert and my skin needs oxygen.I highly recommend buying a case protector for the watch to avoid banging it on something and a screen protector film to avoid scratching it. Watches get banged around where you least expect it, they need protectionIve worn it in the shower, washing dishes, etc etc. I normally work in food but due to the outbreak I have not been able to confirm it handling that lifestyle yet as I was moved to a desk job for the time being.Unfortunately there is alot of bloatware on this watch ie starbucks app, pandora, alexa, etc that cannot be removed. Through the app you can download other watch faces, backgrounds, select apps. The only app i personally find useful is the calculator. You can set a timeralarm, check the calendar i think syncs to your phone, and do all sorts of other things like tap to pay as well, if youre into those things. Tracks your heart rate and breathing all day, and you can set on the watch itself what exercise activity you may be doing to more accurately track heart ratecalorie burning I mainly use the talk to text feature, and get my phone notifications that are allowed to pop up on my watch which also clears them on your phone. However you must remain within bluetooth range of your phone. To sync and update your phone app, at LEAST twice daily turn on your location and bluetooth. Force it to sync by refreshing a couple times, it does take a minute to actually process the data. IF it isnt working try reseting the watch by holding the button down until it shuts off. If that doesnt help, force stop your app hold the widget down on your main screen and select force stop. Sometimes after an update it gets a little wonky for a day. If you do not periodically sync it through the day mainly after waking up to remove your sleep tracking it will start to miscalculate. There isnt enough memory to hold extended information and tracking which is why i believe you should be allowed to remove the bloatware but heyy product contracts and all that jazz so please take note to refresh it in the morning and night at the least. So far I only charge it around every 4 days, for maybe 2 hours or so to fully charge. On my heavier watch activity days i did charge every other day.So far it has been great, the color display is amazing, and I love that it tells me i suck at breathing and sleeping consistently also i apparently still have heart in there, who knew oh and you can still have your watch give you vibrate notices with your phone on do not disturb DDD and set the watch to silent or sleep mode if necessary

The Versa Lite was good. The Versa 2 is BETTER. The big, bright AMOLED Active Matrix Organic Light Emitting Diode display is an outright winner BRIGHT colors against a deep black background and high resolution. You have to try out some of the included free watch faces. AMOLED displays had a reputation for being battery killers but it would appear Fitbit has addressed that quite effectively. One of the ways was to provide a lowenergy always on display that shows the time and two other criteria e.g., steps calories you choose. Cool. The Versa 2 is also snappier i.e., more responsive … less lag. You will come to appreciate that.Sleeping tracking appears to be accurate. This is one of Fitbits fortes.I have still only had this watch for less than 48hours. So, havent had a chance to check out everything.Just wanted to provide you with feedback hopefully helpful as I go along, to help you make a buying decision. So far, so good. Good price. Just think about that.Unless you go cheap, unreliable Chinese this is amazing value for the money.

I purchased this for myself and the Garmin Forerunner for my partner. Wish I had spent the extra money and purchased the Garmin for myself. What should have been an easy set up process was complicated. I have owned a fitbit before and never had these issues. If you want a basic watch for tracking steps etc then this is great. Frequently drops out of sync with iphone and needs to be paired again could be an iphone issue. When it is working, it works well, has the information I need. Spotify app on it doesnt always work, doesnt always track correct amount of stepskms done when tracking a walk or route. Pros comfortable to wear, large screen, interchangeable watch face.

This has been my favorite Fitbit watch. The clock face is very pretty and I like all the new options to change it to if I get bored. I like being able to see everything on the screen, unlike the old HR models. The watch itself is very durable I wear mine 247. I did scratch the bottom of the screen, so in hindsight, I shouldve gotten a screen protector. Because I wear it everyday, all day, I will say it has held up extremely well through all that I put it through. I dont miss wearing regular watches. For a smart watch, the battery life is great. I use it a lot, even as an alarm clock. You definitely get your moneys worth here and it is not as expensive as other watches.

I have been a Fitbit user for over 5 years. In that time I have gone through a number of their different bands. In the fall of 2019 I preordered the Versa 2 to replace a Charge that was failing. Overall the Versa 2 was good, with the odd glitch. However, as soon as I passed the 1year mark of ownership the Versa 2 went completely haywire. Heart Rate sensor failed, no sleep tracking, battery draining from 100 to nothing in a matter of a few hours, etc., etc. Honestly it just became a complete piece of garbage. I had high hopes that this band would last longer than my previous ones. However, it seems to be a consistent theme with Fitbit that as soon as you are out of warranty it will stop working and the only solution Fitbit offers is to buy a new one. Given the fact that the Fitbit prices have continued to climb I am no longer interested. The bottom line is that Fitbit is okay, but you cant expect them to last. I have checked all the community boards and I see that the new Sense and Versa 3 are already having major problems, and they just launched.

I have worn fitness trackers for many years. I have used brands such as Samsung and recently Garmin. This is my first Fitbit device.I really like the look and feel of the device. It fits comfortably on the wrist and feels durable. I also like the design. It is much smarter than the Garmin sport watch I was using before.Intial set up including charging, installing the app and connecting to my phone was simple. The battery life is incredible.I was really pleased with the auto tracking of exercise but did want to learn how to manually input exercise. I was struggling with the guide and contacted Fitbit support. Unfortunately the person handling my query through chat seemed unsure of some of the new functionality of the Versa 2 so I was left to work out the answer for myself but I did get there in the end.I did find it a little less intuitive to learn than previous devices is my only small criticism but this watch also has more functionality so this might be a product of that.I was impressed with the sleep tracking which was much more accurate than previous devices.
