I ordered this as I was 99.9% sure that this was designed for my GF’s Dyson fan, but while her fan is very close to the requirement, it is not compatible sadly (my dumb mistake) — her fan is extremely similar to the stated compatible fans (which is why I made the mistake). I can however comment on the build quality and materials used… Compared to an official remote, this us certainly inferior as it uses thinner, cheaper-looking plastic which has a dull matt feel/look when compared to a glossy, smooth official remote. However, if these do indeed work with certain Dyson fans then the lesser quality plastic is a small price to pay to get a cheap back-up remote.
